The BBC is one of many to report that David Cameron, His Majesty’s Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs; Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has pleaded with American Republicans to pass a $60bn (£50bn) military aid package to fund the Ukraine side against Russia. The US Senate passed it on Tuesday 15th February 2024. Watch our video on YouTube:

Lord Cameron thought he could persuade the Republicans in the US House of Representatives (Congress) in this article for The Hill newspaper by appealing to ‘global security’, whatever that means, and by citing Adolf Hitler.
‘I believe our joint history shows the folly of giving in to tyrants in Europe who believe in redrawing boundaries by force,’ said the Foreign Secretary. ‘I do not want us to show the weakness displayed against Hitler in the 1930s.’
But at the same time, ‘We have already destroyed almost half of Russia’s prewar military capacity,’ whoever ‘We’ are. ‘It’s Vladimir Putin who should be fearing failure. Almost a quarter of his Black Sea fleet has been sunk. He’s suffered almost 300,000 dead and wounded — more in two years of fighting than the Soviet Union suffered in Afghanistan over a decade. Russia has witnessed its first attempted coup in three decades, and its first debt default in over a century.’
So Russia is on the brink of failure but at the same time is threatening NATO and the West? It doesn’t add up. And what about this: ‘The West has helped Ukrainians liberate half the territory seized by Putin, all without the loss of any NATO service personnel.’ Ah, so the UK and US are going to stay well out of it ourselves, but we shall jolly well fight to the last Ukrainian?
In this article, Joe Lauria explains the difference between Revanchism and Imperialism. Western critics purposely or ignorantly confuse the two to serve their interests, he writes.
‘Succinctly, the difference is this: imperialists take control of a country that does not want them there and resists. A revanchist wants to absorb former imperial lands where the population is largely the same ethnicity and welcomes the revanchist power to protect them from an outside threat.
‘Yes, Hitler was being revanchist in his defense of the German-speaking Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia. But it was a first step in an imperial design to conquer countries that ultimately resisted him.’ The latter was ‘Lebensraum’, literally ‘Living Room’ a widely-stated German concept of expansionism and Völkisch nationalism, which involved initial expansion into the Soviet Union. There is nothing of that from Vladimir Putin, as even Hilary Clinton acknowledged as Secretary of State in 2010.
Mr Lauria writes: ‘Given the results of the four (Donbass) regional referendums in 2022, plus the one in Crimea in 2014, it is clear the people of those regions wanted to rejoin Russia after the (2014 Kiev Maidan Square) coup and the revival of Ukrainian extremism.’
Foreign leaders turning up to lecture populations or their lawmakers rarely goes down well. We remember Barack Obama at that press conference with David Cameron in April 2016, held co-incidentally at the Foreign Office. He laid out what he said were the perils of a leave vote in the EU referendum.
He explained he had the ‘temerity to weigh in’ on the matter because Brexiteers were saying the UK would be free to negotiate a trade deal with the US. Not so, said the then-President. Brexit would put the UK at the ‘back of the queue’ for trade talks.
His intervention delighted Mr Cameron and the rest of the Guardian-reading Remainers, but backfired as soon as ordinary people realised that ‘back of the queue’ is not an expression Americans use. They never ‘queue’, they simply ‘wait in line’. The speech was a set-up. It wasn’t real. It was irritating, pompous and condescending. We worked out that anything promoted by that class of people, the world’s elite, would probably benefit them and their friends rather than us.
Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted in response to Lord Cameron: ‘David Cameron should be concerned about the Nazis in Ukraine’s army, the Azov Battalion. We’re all sick of the absurd name calling,’ she went on, ‘it isn’t going to bully me into funding the war in Ukraine.’ She then told him where to get off in less than polite terms.
For that matter, ’is Lordship might address the open anti-semitism displayed weekly on the streets of London, by Muslims and leftists whom the Government is doing nothing to counter.
‘Don’t show weakness,’ he yelled at Congress. How can he even dare say ‘Don’t show Weakness’ after thirteen years of Conservative weakness culminating in the idea that a man can decide he is a woman and no-one can challenge his pronouns becoming the official policy of His Majesty’s Armed Forces?
David Cameron’s foreign policy legacy
We must remember this is the same David Cameron who voted for Tony Blair’s war in Iraq in 2003, and who even today won’t apologise for the Conservative Party’s role in backing it.
He is the same David Cameron who as Prime Minister wanted to blow Syria to pieces in 2013, was refused by the House of Commons, by just 13 votes, but proceeded to arm the Al Qaeda jihadists there instead. It’s the same David Cameron who launched air strikes against Libya in 2011.
As the Guardian reports, MPs on the Foreign Affairs Select Committee subsequently ruled his intervention in Libya was ‘carried out with no proper intelligence analysis, drifted into an unannounced goal of regime change and shirked its moral responsibility to help reconstruct the country’ following the murder of Muammar Gaddafi, leading to a failed state on the verge of all-out civil war, and today, to a staging post for migrants crossing the Mediterranean.
This is David Cameron’s foreign policy legacy. The moral high ground is for him a distant upland. At home, his legacy is Gay Marriage and his miscalculation of the Brexit vote. It was a good thing for the UK to escape the EU, but the people’s vote brought David Cameron down.
What the Lord says to David Cameron
His Capitol Hill intervention reveals a man possessed by extreme arrogance matched by scant self-awareness. His failures have never taught him humility. Rather than lecturing American lawmakers, he should be repenting in sackcloth and ashes for the destruction he wreaked both at home and abroad.
The Bible tells us (in Psalm 10) ‘The LORD is King for ever and ever’. The psalmist cries out: ‘Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. … Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: … LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: … that the man of the earth may no more oppress.’
To David Cameron he says, in the words of the prophet Haggai: ‘Consider your ways.’ The Proverb says: ‘Every one who is arrogant is an abomination to the LORD.’
And here for David Cameron and for the rest of the elite are the first recorded words of the Lord Jesus according to Mark ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.’

Let me be clear from the start: we are not against sound defence of the realm. Nor are we against sober warnings of possible risks. What we oppose is starting wars (think Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya) or being pleased with them (Ukraine) and talking up the prospect of war for personal or ideological reasons, stupidity or megalomania. And we also pray to have a God-fearing nation which is actually worth defending.
Summary
I’m Stephen Green. In this video, we’ll look at who is talking up war with Russia and wonder why. We’ll ask if UK armed forces are even capable of such an exercise. We’ll hear from the top US general on whether Russia is about to invade the West. We’ll ask if it is a good idea in spiritual terms to confess the prospect of war.
We’ll ask whether ordinary people every want conflict, we’ll find out precisely how a country’s leaders persuade their people to go to war and we’ll ask if our lot are satisfying the conditions. We shall ask where in the world we find corroded and schizophrenic countries which start wars. Then we shall wonder whether, after recent history, we can trust our politicians and media to tell us the truth, about anything. We’ll look at God’s own job specification for leaders.
We shall hear our Lord talk of wars and rumours of wars and ask whatever happened to the peace dividend. We’ll trace back the Russia-Ukraine conflict to its roots, and find out just why Western politicians hate Vladimir Putin so much. Finally, I’ll call for prayer, invite your comments and I’ll thank you, if you stay the course, for watching the video.
The alarm of war
It was the prophet Jeremiah who was pained at his heart because he had heard ‘the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.’ (Bible references below)
A NATO official, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer, said last month that the West should prepare for all-out war with Russia within the next 20 years. He urged governments to be ready to mobilise ‘large numbers of civilians’. If Admiral Bauer was declaring that NATO policy is now war with Russia, that would mark a distinct escalation in its approach, which has hitherto relied on Ukrainians to do all the fighting on its behalf. (Links are coming: check back tomorrow!)
Next, Germany’s defence minister, Boris Pistorius, reduced the timescale, claiming Vladimir Putin ‘could launch an attack on NATO in less than a decade.’
UK politicians join in
The psalmist wrote ‘I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.’
‘They’ appear to be all the elite. His Majesty’s Foreign Secretary, David Cameron, chimed in, telling eager listeners at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday 17th January 2024 not to appease Russia with peace talks over Ukraine, making a parallel with Hitler’s Germany and Neville Chamberlain in nineteen thirty-eight.
Then UK Defence secretary Grant Shapps said the West had moved from a post-war to a pre-war world. Now, apparently, there could be war within five years.
Finally, the British Army’s Chief of Staff, General Sir Patrick Nicholas Yardley Monrad Sanders, KCB, CBE, DSO, quickly called for Britain to train a ‘citizen army’ ready to fight Russia. Other European nations were taking steps, he claimed, to put their populations on a ‘war footing’. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak did not deny the claim, merely denying there would be any plans for conscription.
War ‘will stay in Ukraine’
Our members will recall us reporting on Sir Patrick’s outburst in June 2022. Just four months after Russia’s incursion into eastern Ukraine, General Saunders claimed UK forces would soon need to fight a land war in Europe. Just like David Cameron today, he found similarities with the nineteen thirties.
Happily, United States Chief of Staff General Mark Milley slapped our man down. Asked by the BBC’s Sophie Rayworth on ‘Sunday Morning’ to confirm that ‘Putin’ was about to over-run Europe like Adolf Hitler, General Milley drawled: ‘There is no reason at all why this war should expand beyond the borders of Ukraine, where it is right now. … We want to contain the war inside Ukraine.’
Mark Milley retired only last year. Of course he knew all the Russian generals. He is a learned man with one masters degree in international relations and another in national security and strategic studies. He spoke with authority. And as Mark Milley with all his insider knowledge predicted, inside Ukraine is exactly where the war has remained.
UK Armed Forces
General Sanders heads a below-strength army with a recruiting crisis following widely-criticised ‘woke’ advertising. His army has never enough money. His real war is always with the UK Treasury. Meanwhile, the Royal Navy cannot put even one of our two expensive aircraft carriers to sea because the ships have no catapults, hardly any planes, no operational stores ship and no support fleet capable of defending them. The Navy now say they will send HMS Queen Elizabeth to the Red Sea, but she will rely on American warships to defend her and carry a few expensive US F-25B Lightning jump-jets.
The RAF admit: ‘The Lightning’s short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) capability allows it to operate from the new ‘Queen Elizabeth’-class aircraft carriers.’ The cheaper, conventional Hornet cannot. It is embarrassing. The Navy is mothballing ships and deploying officers to equality and diversity. It has withdrawn its last serious ship defending the Falkland Islands, leaving a mere patrol vessel.
Having left off to take heed to the Lord, our leaders are prone to silly mistakes, lack of planning and plain stupidity. And General Sanders expects boys, and girls, to fight for a shower like that?
The Bible says: ‘Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually… For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.’ In the spiritual dimension, talking up the prospect of war is a dangerous and foolish confession from those who lead us. Words have power. The Bible says ‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue’.
Generation Z won’t fight – and why
Naturally, the papers are discussing whether UK millennials, or Generation Z, will bother to join the ‘citizen army’ of General Sanders.
In the Evening Standard, Emma Loffhagen asked, ‘Why are my generation so reluctant to don khaki and buzzcuts for King and country?’ She went on:
‘Of course, some people think they know the answer. Young people are “easily offended” and they “lack motivation”, Major-General Chip Chapman told GB News. Do these stereotypes really explain such a huge generational shift in military attitudes? I don’t think so.
‘More important is that, for my generation, the Army is simply no longer seen as a moral endeavour. As a 24-year-old, the last war in my living memory was not a barnstorming defeat of the Nazis, but rather a series of wars and invasions in the Middle East, exposed as failures and widely thought to be based on lies. The belief held by older generations that the British Army is solely a force for good in the world does not stand up any more. As Gen Z would put it: the military propaganda is not propaganda-ing.’
Goering’s Principle
Seventy-seven years ago, Hitler’s Deputy, Hermann Goering, knew these realities. He admitted to a US psychologist outside the Nuremberg trials that ‘the people don’t want war.’ Goering shrugged: ‘Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back … in one piece?’
The Reichsmarschall went on to articulate what we now call Goering’s Principle. He said irrespective of a dictatorship or a democracy, ‘The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy,’ he said. ‘All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger.’
Not being attacked
It worked here during Covid, but the problem our war-mongering leaders face now is that no NATO country is actually being attacked, except internally by jihadists, and our politicians won’t talk about that. Furthermore, there is simply no prospect of any NATO country being attacked. Russia is bogged down in a stalemate in its war in Ukraine, where General Milley says it will stay.
We don’t hear any desire to invade Europe voiced by the Russians. For all their sabre-rattling, the NATO establishment have just made assertions, not any kind of case based on evidence. They have botched Goering’s Principle at the first hurdle.
That is not say there are no parts of the world under threat. Israel is always being attacked, mainly by militias backed by the Iranian leadership (not necessarily by the Iranian people). The people of Taiwan are certainly threatened by China. It will take the grace of God to avoid war there, probably using a strong naval deterrent and a different US president. The involvement of Western trade interests in Taiwan shows it was even more of a strategic blunder, as well as a humanitarian catastrophe, for NATO to force Russia into the arms of China instead of keeping her closer to the West.
‘Corroded and schizophrenic’
Journalist Sherelle Jacobs, in yet another pro-war article in the Daily Telegraph, wrote: ‘What previous world wars teach us is that it is not confident and successful countries that start wars, but corroded and schizophrenic ones that both suffer from grandiose delusions and mortal dread of the future.’
Sherelle meant Russia, but that ‘corroded and schizophrenic country’ sounds much more like the United Kingdom, which over the last twenty years has helped start wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya. and is cursed with leaders having grandiose delusions and a mortal dread of the end of the world as we know it.
For Allister Heath, writing in the same paper, it is also the European Union, ‘condemned to death by its deluded, third-rate elites, incapable of recovering from its present economic, military and demographic crises’.
He went on: ‘There is no way back for a European continent that has embraced nihilism, post-Christian paganism, illiberalism and the politics of envy, that believes that saving the planet requires shutting down successful industries and impoverishing its people, that cannot face down Islamist extremism and anti-Semitism, and that won’t reform its welfare state.’
Credibility problem
Above all, our elite now face, not just Emma Loffhangen’s morality problem, but one of credibility. After the Covid gaslighting, the obvious follies of lockdowns, restrictions, masks and government and media psychological warfare, followed by the imposition of gene therapy drugs posing as vaccines, followed by the absurdity of the Great Reset, then the lies and stupidity of climate hysteria and Net Zero, the constant reference to chancers sporting male genitalia as ‘women’, we no longer trust our politicians or our mainstream media to tell us the truth about anything.
That’s more than a shame, because the Bible tells us leaders are ministers of God, but it also says they are to be men of truth, hating covetousness. That depends on them being God-fearing men. And it is essential for public confidence and the respect they should have.
Would it not be more righteous and lead to a blessing if His Majesty’s Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs was a force for peace in the world and the genuine trading interests of the United Kingdom, if he and Grant Shapps would ‘Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it’?
How the Ukraine conflict began
The Lord Jesus said we would ‘hear of wars and rumours of wars’ We should ‘be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom…’
This current mess arose because Western leaders now see geo-politics as a zero-sum game where if Russia, for example, does well, it must mean we have lost. They squandered the peace dividend, the opportunity presented by the fall of communism to build a cooperative world and reap the economic benefit of a decrease in defence spending. The trouble was, the peace dividend did not in any way benefit what U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower identified in 1961 as the ‘military–industrial complex’.
Their friends, including the Hawks in NATO, started saying we had ‘won’ the cold war, and Russia had lost, and needed their noses rubbed in it. The current war in Ukraine was sparked when the EU and the US helped by activists on the ground funded by George Soros deposed the elected but pro-Russian Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych in 2014 and installed the pro-Western Petro Poroshenko instead.
Where we are today
Since then, Russia annexed Russian-speaking Crimea and Ukraine has all but banned the Russian language, alienating the Russian-speaking Donbass region of Eastern Ukraine. Faced with calls to protect the Donbass and alarmed by the prospect of Ukraine joining NATO, Russia invaded. Russia sees NATO now not as the defensive force portrayed in our media, but as an expansionist aggressor.
Furthermore of course, Western politicians hate Russia because its president is pro-family and has banned gay pride marches, homosexual propaganda and George Soros. The Russians are also doing well building alliances and gaining trading partners in the Global South.
And so, in response to a demand from former secretaries of state for defence Sir Michael Fallon, Ben Wallace, Dr Liam Fox and Sir Gavin Williamson, Rishi Sunak has sent another £2.5 billion pounds to Ukraine to spend on armaments. The UK Government gave £2.3 billion pounds in 2022 and again in 2023. Nobody asked if every British working man and woman (33m of us) wanted to send £215 each to put Ukrainian and Russian young men in coffins and bereave mothers of their sons and young women of their husbands.
World Economic Forum
Last month, a day before David Cameron spoke at the World Economic Forum gathering in Davos, Ukrainian President Zelensky told the globalists what they wanted to hear, that his Russian counterpart does not want peace and is intent on expansion.
And yet, David Arahamiya, the leader of Ukraine’s ruling party, disclosed in November 2023 that Russia was ready to end the war and withdraw its troops in exchange for Ukrainian neutrality just a few months after the invasion began in February 2022. The offer was refused at least partly because ex-British PM Boris Johnson pressured Kyiv into continuing the fight.
Negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow were underway in Istanbul when Mr Johnson unexpectedly arrived in Kyiv on 9th April, 2022, telling Mr Zelensky that he ‘shouldn’t sign anything with them at all—and let’s just fight.’
Arms firms provide dinners
The ‘military–industrial complex’ are happy for the war to carry on. Armaments firms are making billions out of the Ukraine war. What is little known is that politicians are constantly rubbing shoulders with them at lavish dinners. According to Forces Watch, The arms manufacturers fund these gatherings under the ‘Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme’.
Forces Watch say: ‘The scheme involves MPs or Peers spending at least 15 days in a year with either the Army, Navy or RAF, visiting both UK and overseas bases. The optics of dressing up as service personnel seems to appeal to a militarised parliamentary politics – more than 90 parliamentarians … graduated between 2014-2020.’
The AFPS then hold a sumptuous ‘Graduation Dinner’. Clearly the aim is to ensure more MPs and Peers are sympathetic to the UK Armed Forces, to armaments and also to military action. Forces Watch say ‘over 50%’ of the ‘more than 90’ parliamentarians who graduated were Conservatives, which means just under 50% were not. Labour’s Toby Perkins and Liz Kendall even posted a picture of them posing in a tank at an arms fair. Defence Secretaries regularly don military uniforms. Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has also appeared in military fatigues.
There may or may not have been a time for war, but from April 2022 it has surely been the time to beat those swords into ploughshares. It is a time to take the Lord’s advice through the prophet Jeremiah and build and plant. Somewhere in the world, secret negotiations are still going on. The Lord Jesus described the peacemakers as blessed and the children of God.

PRAY: We seem constantly to be praying for wisdom and against stupidity in our leaders, but let us remember to pray first for the Lord on high to send them a spirit of repentance, to seek his face in humility.
And if that is not to happen, pray for the good Lord to replace the warmongers, the fools, the delusional, the arrogant and the plain stupid among our leaders (and for that matter, those of other nations for whom we have a burden) with able men after God’s own heart. Pray the Lord will bless the efforts of the peacemakers, convict our leaders of their own need of the Prince of Peace and bring the Ukraine war to a swift end. Further afield, may Hamas be defeated and may Israel have peace. May Taiwan also have peace and stability.

Steel workers travelled by rail yesterday to lobby their Members of Parliament in advance of a debate on ‘Protecting Steel in the UK’.
Tata Steel own the steelworks at Port Talbot in South Wales, including its two blast furnaces, which make steel from iron ore. The Government has announced a plan to give Tata £500 million to close the blast furnaces, install electric arc furnaces instead and make 3,000 steel workers redundant. Watch our video:
’Decarbonise’ steel production?
The Port Talbot Blast Furnaces
The debate was moved (See Hansard HERE by the Labour opposition. Faced with an open goal of the absurdity of the Net Zero agenda, this is how their motion for debate began:
‘That this House recognises the need to decarbonise steel production…’ before complaining the government plan ‘will result in thousands of steelworkers losing their jobs and risk leaving the UK as the first developed country in the world without the capacity to produce primary steel … and is therefore concerned about the impact that the Government’s plans could have on national security’. It also worries about ‘irrevocably damaging working people’s trust in the opportunities the net zero transition could bring.’
The reality is that ‘carbon’, in the form of coking coal, is essential to the process of making primary steel. As it burns, the coke in the blast furnace ‘robs’ the oxygen from the iron oxide ore, releasing the iron in a molten form. See HERE. You can’t ‘decarbonise’ a blast furnace.
The electric arc furnace is for a different purpose, to melt down and recycle scrap ferrous material into lower grade steel. As the FT reports, each arc furnace uses colossal amounts of electric power, enough for a small town, which has to be generated using, in the absence of a thriving UK nuclear power industry, er, fossil fuels.
The Guardian (see below) describes electric arc furnace as ‘a greener and cheaper process.’ It is true, it is cheaper in that it uses fewer men to operate it, and it may be quicker, but it does not yet make new high-grade product. That being said, the UK only currently recycles 3 million tons of scrap steel. Sir Robert Goodwill observed in the debate and was supported by the minister Ms Ghani, that we export some 8 million tons to China, rather like Kenya, which exports all its iron ore to China and, like the UK, buys steel back. We should be recycling our scrap steel mountain here.
So blast furnaces and electric arc furnaces are not an ‘either/or’ but a ‘both/and’.
The COP28 conference in December agreed to contribute to ‘transitioning away from fossil fuels in energy systems, in a just, orderly and equitable manner, accelerating action in this critical decade, so as to achieve net zero by 2050 in keeping with the science,’ according to the final global stocktake draft text.
It spoke about ‘accelerating efforts towards the phase-down of unabated coal power.’ Greta Thunberg was angry with the agreement not going far enough or fast enough for her. But then again, whenever isn’t poor Greta angry?
However, note that the ‘transition away’ from fossil fuels was specifically stated as being for ‘energy systems’. It did not and does not apply to plastics, transport or agriculture. Nor does it apply to the manufacture of new iron in blast furnaces.
So there is no reason for the UK to close the blast furnaces in Port Talbot, at the cost of thousands of jobs and the UK’s steel security, becoming the only G20 nation which cannot make virgin steel, all the while citing ‘climate change’.
A similar crazy deal at Scunthorpe will mean the UK ending up as the only G20 country that cannot make steel from raw materials, As the Guardian reports. Yet neither the Guardian, nor the senior Union and Labour politicians they quote, seem to have spotted their opportunity to criticise a plain stupid act of UK virtue-signalling and self-harm.
Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch even decided to portray the agreement with Tata Steel with a straight face as ‘a great deal. Not just for Port Talbot, but for the UK’, she said.
Thousands of jobs at risk

Mrs Badenoch ventured: ‘What I would say to people who are concerned about job losses is that we do understand and we have a transition plan in place that’s funded up to about £100 million to make sure that people have skills to retrain and move on to other things if they don’t want to stay in the steel industry.’ Move on to what ‘other things’? Picking strawberries? a ‘green job’ in lobbying?
Gary Smith, GMB general secretary, retorted: “The jobs of thousands of steelworkers are now at risk. The cost to local people and the wider Port Talbot community will be immense. “Once again, we have the spectacle of leaders talking up the fantasy land of a ‘just transition’ while the bitter reality for workers is them getting the sack.”
Did anyone ask the voters if we wanted to stop making primary steel and throw thousands of men out of work?
The absurdity is that the raw steel will still be made, merely elsewhere in the world, in countries like China and India which do not have a spiritual death-wish.
Indeed, The Guardian reports Tata Steel is doing exactly that, and opening a huge new blast furnace in India. The Guardian accuse Tata Steel of ‘hypocrisy’ failing to notice it is the UK Government net zero policy which is doing the damage. In the Commons debate cited above, only Sir John Hayes spoke out against the net zero agenda. Trudy Harrison (Copeland) (Con) spoke up for the West Cumbria Woodhouse colliery and its coking coal for blast furnaces.
Prayer and Action
Ensuring the UK’s security in this uncertain age is the God-given responsibility of the state. To close industries and deliberately impoverish working people is not to love thy neighbour. It is stupidity and oppression. Israel in the Old Testament was a beacon of excellence for worshipping God and keeping his holy laws, not for national suicide or stopping men from working.
It is almost as if an evil spirit of national rebellion and destruction, a covenant with death, has wormed its way into the corridors of power. Or perhaps the stupidity is being sent by the Lord as judgment as it was on Rehoboam. Either way, our politicians need to repent, seek the Lord, stop doing WEF-approved evil, and start doing good.

Witch (or shaman) blowing on the panellists at 2024 WEF meeting at Davos
At first glance it had to be a spoof. But no, a witch (or shaman) was actually given centre stage at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. In a video tweet, Michael Knowles comments: ‘The WEF invited an actual witch to cast magic spells on its panelists.’ Charlie Kirk has also tweeted asking: ‘What in the fresh hell is this?’
Incantations
In the video, you can see the witch, probably a woman, making incantations before blowing across the audience and then blowing on each of the five panellists in turn. It took place in Davos from 14th-19th January 2024. WEF claims 3,000 leaders from 120 countries attended. The theme was ‘Rebuilding Trust’!
The pro-WEF ’BNN Breaking’ gushed: ‘This symbolic intersection of the old and the new underscores the inclusive and diverse nature of dialogues at the WEF.’ Inclusive? When the Lord Jesus breathed on his disciples, they received the Holy Spirit. What spirit were those panellists receiving? Anyone God-fearing would have a mile before allowing her to breathe on them, or just rebuked the demons behind it..
Witch (or shaman) started with incantations.
For BNN Breaking, it was ‘a striking blend of tradition and modernity’ where ‘Traditions Meet Global Discourse’. ‘A witch doctor took center stage, performing ancient incantations and rituals, captivating attendees and stirring animated discussions.
‘The inclusion of a witch doctor’s performance is a clear testament to the forum’s openness to different cultural practices and perspectives. The witch doctor, chanting and blowing air on attendees, created a spectacle that was as much a topic of discussion as the economic and political debates.’
Apparently, this is not the first time for such ‘traditional practices’ at Davos. ‘In 2023, the WEF hosted a similar event, highlighting its commitment to integrating diverse cultural perspectives into contemporary global discourse. … The recurrence of such performances indicates a consistent intention to incorporate a broad range of voices and views in the discussions on global development and sustainability.’
But is that all there is? Are the WEF high-command just doing ‘diversity’? Are they ignorant of the spiritual dimension of inviting a witch to cast spells on stage? Or do they know full well what they are doing? Have they sold their souls to the devil himself?

You might conclude that at the very least, the presence of a witch at WEF Davos reveals that paganism is not far from the heart of gatherings of the elite. It might even remind you of a certain period in recent German history, set out here by Eric Kurlander and and here by Samuel Koehne.
But for ‘BNN Breaking’ it ‘is symbolic of the intersection of cultural diversity and economic dialogue. It serves as a reminder that in our pursuit of economic progress and sustainability, we must not overlook the richness of our cultural heritage. It’s a testament to how the WEF is leveraging cultural diversity as a platform for robust economic discussions, fostering a global dialogue that is as much about preserving our past as it is about shaping our future.’
It might even remind us of the Lucis Trust, the brainchild of Alice Bailey inspired by theosophist Madame Blavatsky. This esoteric NGO, with its moon-cycle invocations and celebrations of pagan festivals, has consultative status at the United Nations.
The globalist elite turn to witches and mediums and turn their back on the true God and the King of kings, the Lord Jesus Christ. Is it any wonder they come up with oppressive ideas like the Great Reset Video where ‘You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy’?
We should be doing more in prayer against these anti-christ elements. Yes, the Lord will have them in derision, Christ, the Lord of lords and King of kings, will put all enemies under his feet. But if we are with him as the called, and chosen, and faithful we have no option but to join the spiritual battle.

Stop Press: Mr Sunak was flying to Kiev as we went to press to give President Zelensky £2.5 billion of UK taxpayers’ money for more weapons.

We were about to celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace in December 2023 when four former UK defence secretaries urged Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to stop ‘dithering’, as they put it, over more UK funding for Ukraine’s war effort against Russia.
The UK Government gave £2.3 billion pounds in 2022 and again in 2023 but has not yet announced how much will be sent in 2024.
Rt Hon Ben Wallace MP
Former Secretaries of State for Defence, Sir Michael Fallon, Ben Wallace, Dr Liam Fox and Sir Gavin Williamson are all demanding the British taxpayer stump up at least another £2.3 billion pounds. That’s forty pounds for every man, woman and child in the United Kingdom.
It’s enough money, as the BBC show here, to buy two and a half thousand MRI scanners or pay for four hundred thousand hip operations. The Government have already given twice as much as that already. But no-one asked British taxpayers if they wanted to pay that money. As usual, the elite have just decided it and imposed it on hard-pressed people.
More young men in coffins

The money will put more Ukrainian and Russian young men in coffins. The war-mongers think that makes them look tough. Three of them have even been pictured in military fatigues. Ben Wallace couldn’t keep out of them. Macho Gavin Williamson was pictured on a training course ‘breaking the ice’.
The man who started the idea of the UK fighting Russia to the last Ukranian, Boris Johnson, wore civies as he walked around in Kiev meeting Vlodomir Zelensky. But he too has been pictured in military garb.
It goes without saying that none of the four former defence secretaries nor Mr Johnson, nor Mr Sunak will actually go to the front line and put their own lives at risk.
A no-cost demand

The psalmist says: Psalm 120:7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
In fact their demands for more weapons cost them nothing. Meanwhile, in the real world, the war in Ukraine is at a standstill. It’s advancing nowhere and still destroying lives and property on a daily basis. It’s killing young men, bereaving mothers and making widows of young women.
It is a tragedy, and the United Kingdom bears responsibility for advancing it and cheerleading for weaponry around Europe and in the Americas. The British Government does not care about the lives of British subjects. It is of course not their job to care, it is their job to protect. They may say it is not their job abroad to do either. Ukrainian, let alone Russian, lives do not matter to them. But when they deliberately put foreign lives at risk rather than seek peace, that invites judgment.
The Bible says: 1Pet 3:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
Follow the money
It all becomes clear when we follow the money. The UK’s billions are going to the arms manufacturers. What is little known is that politicians are constantly rubbing shoulders with them at lavish dinners.
Toby Perkins tweeted enthusiastically about him and fellow Labour MP Liz Kendall posing in a tank.
According to Forces Watch, The arms manufacturers fund these gatherings under the ‘Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme’.
Forces Watch say: ‘The scheme involves MPs or Peers spending at least 15 days in a year with either the Army, Navy or RAF, visiting both UK and overseas bases. The optics of dressing up as service personnel seems to appeal to a militarised parliamentary politics – more than 90 parliamentarians … graduated between 2014-2020.’
The AFPS then hold a ‘Graduation Dinner’. Clearly the aim is to ensure more MPs and Peers are sympathetic to the UK Armed Forces, to armaments and also to military action. Forces Watch say ‘over 50%’ of the ‘more than 90’ were Conservatives, which means just under 50% were not. Labour’s Toby Perkins and Liz Kendall even posted a picture of them posing in a tank at an arms fair. Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has also appeared in military fatigues.
A time for peace
There may or may not have been a time for war, but this is surely the time to beat those swords into ploughshares. It is a time to do what the prophet Jeremiah said and build and plant. Please look at our Bible read points below.

At this time of writing, in early December 2023, some 97,000 delegates and 300,000 hangers-on are meeting at the climate alarmist COP28 jamboree in Dubai. It’s the biggest ever, with, some are saying, the biggest ever ‘carbon footprint’.
Meanwhile, the Government have passed what the Daily Telegraph describes as an ‘anti-motorist’ net zero vote. The ‘Zero Emission Vehicle mandate’ will enact quotas for the sale of electric cars. The mandate will require 22 % of cars sold by manufacturers to be electric from next year. By 2030, the quota will gradually have risen to 80 per cent.
This is despite Mr Sunak pushing the all-electric date back from 2030 to 2035 in a speech in September. MPs say if electric cars are that good they will sell themselves with no need for government force. The measure passed by 381 votes to 37. See how your MP voted here. Telegraph’s report (£) is here.
King Charles gave the opening speech on Friday 1st, (or watch it on YouTube)(Comment on Daily Sceptic) telling the assorted sheiks, princes and politicians to gang up on the masses and deliver Net Zero: They must ‘bring together our public, private, philanthropic and N.G.O. sectors ever more effectively, so that they all play their part in delivering climate action.’ He said: ‘It is encouraging to see industry transition plans being developed, both nationally and globally, which will help each sector of our global economy onto practical pathways to a zero-carbon, Nature-positive future.’
When you read the transcript of his speech on the Palace website, you see that the King always deifies ‘nature’ by giving it a capital ‘N’. ‘We belong to the earth’, he concluded, ‘The Earth does not belong to us.’
That’s not what the Bible says, when God blessed mankind and told Adam and Eve to ‘be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:’ The earth, or nature, is a created thing, like us. Mankind are stewards of it. It does not ‘own’ us, as His Majesty believes. It is not a god.
To support his pitch, the King spoke of ‘seeing alarming tipping points being reached’. Like what? He failed to name any. He said: ‘I have spent a large proportion of my life trying to warn of the existential threats facing us over global warming, climate change and biodiversity loss.’ Threats to our very existence? The world was warm in Roman times and in the Middle Ages. We’re still here, Your Majesty. Some time back all the dinosaurs went extinct. That was Biodiversity loss on a grand scale. We’re still here, sir.
Writing in the Telegraph, Peter, Lord Lilley, says he has asked ministers to name a single peer-reviewed study accepted by the IPCC (the UN body established to assess the science of global warming) that forecasts the extinction of humanity if the world takes no action to phase out fossil fuels. He found out there isn’t one.
Incidentally, he also says when he was one of just five MPs to vote against the absurd Climate Change Act in 2008, he was the only MP who asked to see the ‘Impact Assessment – the cost-benefit analysis’ for the Bill. It showed the costs outweighed the benefits by a factor of two-to-one. He goes on: ‘But, then and since, our political class has put reason aside, preferring to use this issue for virtue signalling’. Once again, as our previous article showed, it was and still is the politics of absurdity.
Referring to his many calls for ‘climate action’ and ‘Harmony’ with ‘Nature’, the King said: ‘All these decades later, and despite all the attention, there is thirty per cent more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere now than there was back then, and almost forty per cent more methane.’
Yes, Statista reports there was 315 parts per million of CO2 in the atmosphere in 1959, and 419 parts per million in 2022. And we’re still here. Plants can’t photosynthesise much below 200 ppm, while the ideal for them, according to the Province of Manitoba in Canada, is around 1200 ppm. Some growers provide supplements of CO2 to make their plants more productive. Carbon Dioxide is not a poison, it means more food for ordinary people. Even the alarmist NASA admits the earth is becoming greener as a result of the extra CO2.
As for Methane, Statista says ‘Precise figures’ ‘are difficult to quantify’, but I sense the King is punching down on livestock farmers, other than him, of course, whose animals produce methane. Then again, humans produce methane, even kings, apparently.
Where are livelihoods ‘laid waste by climate change’?
His Majesty said: ‘The dangers are no longer distant risks. I have seen across the Commonwealth, and beyond, countless communities which are unable to withstand repeated shocks, whose lives and livelihoods are laid waste by climate change.’ Where in the world is this happening? He didn’t say. There is no support for his statement anywhere.
The King constantly confused weather with climate. He claimed, ‘East Africa is suffering a decades-long drought’. It isn’t. Even CNN eventually has to admit the horn of Africa is suffering a five-year drought brought about by La Nina weather patterns. But elsewhere, for example in the East African country of Rwanda,according to the World Bank, there is more rainfall than a century ago. The king blamed this year’s ‘severe’ wildfires on climate change. No, it was arsonists what set fire to forests in Greece and Canada.
Highly political
The elite, including the King’s Great Reset friends in the World Economic Forum, which is supporting COP28, of course, try to pretend Net Zero is not political. That’s how the King thinks he can get away with a speech which was highly-politicised.
He told the leaders, ‘we need – in the order of four-and-a-half to five trillion a year – to drive the transformation we need’. That’s the cost. Dollars presumably. And who pays for it? Not King Charles. Nor does it grow on those trees he wants speculators in the Shard to plant with taxpayers’ cash.
That money for Net Zero will come from taxes raised and profits from stuff sold to you and me. The population of the world is around 8 billion. Do the maths. The king’s Net Zero is going to cost every man, woman and child on Planet Earth at least $570 dollars a year each. Possibly over $600 each. Per year. The Archbishop of Canterbury told King Charles at his coronation in May to be a servant of the people. So has the King asked us if we want to pay that? Was it in any party manifesto?
96 months to save the world!
In July 2009, Prince Charles, as he was then, told an audience of industrialists and environmentalists that he calculated that we had just 96 months, a mere 8 years, left to save the world. Charles said we could no longer afford consumerism and the “age of convenience” was over. Not for him of course.
Fourteen years or 168 months later, the earth has not come to an end. We’re still here. The sky has not fallen in. He was wrong then. I suggest the royal alarmist and bon viveur is wrong again.
We read in Genesis chapter 8 and verse 22 that ‘seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will always be there while the earth remains. That’s the Lord’s promise. But News Agency Reuters tells us, along with Google, the BBC and the rest of the mainstream media, without any backing, as if it is holy writ, that the burning of fossil fuels ‘is the main cause of climate change’.
Fossil fuels, or the sun?
Historically, it is the activity of the sun which has always driven climate change. We believe the earth and its complicated and seemingly chaotic atmosphere, its physics and its chemistry, the moon and the sun were all put together by an all-powerful Creator. Man’s attempts to model it, let alone influence it, seem a bit pathetic, a bit vain-glorious.
It was left to chemical engineer, Sultan Dr Ahmed Al-Jaber, the COP28 president, to tell his guests there is ‘No science’ behind phasing out fossil fuels and it isn’t even necessary to achieve the Paris Agreement’s artificial target of 1.5 degrees C. The Telegraph reports he is even going to increase production of oil. The Gretas of this world will not be happy with that.
They won’t hesitate to litigate. One of them, environmentalist and evolutionist Chris Packham has already filed a High Court legal challenge to the UK Government for its decision to delay the electric car deadline by five years.
However, to support Dr Al-Jaber, it was only fossil-fuel power stations which kept the UK from freezing in the November/December 2023 freeze-up. According to the Telegraph, renewables failed completely with the lack of both wind and sun, and because successive governments have failed to build enough nuclear power stations, coal and gas had to fill the gap. The gas network too was at maximum capacity to heat the nation’s homes. Electric heat pumps turned out to cost a fortune as they struggled to extract enough heat from the cold air to keep people warm.
You’ve heard how they want to turn Port Talbot into an Electric Arc Furnace (which uses scrap steel) and close the blast furnaces (which make new iron) and put 2,000 guys out of work? And Kemi pretends it’s good news? Well, see this about how a Blast Furnace works (you never knew this). This one is more technical.
According to the Bible’s book of Hebrews, the Lord Jesus upholds all things, that’s all things, by the word of his power. Paul tells the Colossians that the Lord Jesus ‘is before all things, and by him all things consist’.
The Bible also tells us, in Psalm 2 about the ‘kings of the earth’ imagining ‘vain things’, coming together to plot and plan ‘against the LORD, and against his anointed.’
In our day, King Charles and the nobles, the presidents, prime ministers and politicians, their advisors and the climate lobbyists and financiers are fulfilling that prophecy. They will all wine and dine sumptuously in Dubai and clap each other on the back for their virtue signalling, before flying home in their private jets to tell you to eat less meat, go electric, travel less, turn the heating down and put on a jumper.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is under pressure to withdraw guidance for schools, recommending that children aged four and under be taught about “enjoyment and pleasure when touching one’s own body, early childhood masturbation”.
The organisation recommends that toddlers have “the right to ask questions about sexuality” and “the right to explore gender identities”. (Pictured right)
These topics are described by WHO as the “minimal standards that need to be covered by sexuality education”.
The World Health Assembly, with three delegates from each of the WHO’s 194 member states, is meeting in Geneva as we write. The delegates typically include a health minister, a health official, and your nation’s UN ambassador:
A Government spokesperson for the Department of Education told Christian Voice: “The UK Government does not recognise this WHO guidance and we don’t agree with its recommendations. We have not distributed or promoted it to schools.
“We offer our own guidance to help schools to teach children and young people about relationships and health. This is for primary school aged children and above.”
Christian Voice also contacted campaign groups who claim to represent children’s rights. Most declined to comment on this major issue involving the safety of children.
A spokesperson for Children’s Rights Alliance for England (CRAE) said: ‘The organisation is a very small team, and we haven’t looked at the WHO’s guidance on this. We also don’t do work surrounding this issue, so we are not able to comment on it’.
Barnados told us: ‘Unfortunately, we’re unable to help on this occasion’. Meanwhile, Save the Children Fund said: ‘We don’t have anything to add to this story, so we cannot help on this occasion’.
‘Children England’ are yet to get back to us. The Children’s Commissioner for England is yet to respond to our request for comment.
The UK Prime Minister reacts
The Telegraph reported that Mr Rishi Sunak is committed to bringing forward a review of statutory guidance on Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), in light of the “safeguarding scandal” of inappropriate materials being used in schools.
The Prime Minister made the pledge in the House of Commons in response to a question from Miriam Cates, MP for Penistone and Stocksbridge. Ms Cates also organised a letter to Mr Sunak from fellow Tory MPs.
She told Mr Sunak that children are being “subjected to lessons that are age-inappropriate, extreme, sexualising and inaccurate, often using resources from unregulated organisations that are actively campaigning to undermine parents. MPs show concern
The Former Home Secretary Priti Patel MP, said: “It’s shocking to see what’s being taught to some children in our schools and concerning that parents are being ignored”.
Further, former Education Minister Brendan Clarke-Smith, who also signed the letter from Miriam Cates asking the Prime Minister to review sex education for children, warned: “To present contentious issues to young minds as facts is totally wrong”.
MP for Mansfield, Ben Bradley, stated, “I don’t think people have any real sense of what some children are being taught in their schools. I’ve spoken to many parents who have been horrified by some of the content”.
The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 18; 6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
No to sexualisation of children
Frank Furedi, executive director of the think-tank, Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) said: “The exploitation of young people for political ends is already causing serious damage. The promoters of sexuality education are disorienting and disturbing kids.
“They are plunging them into a crisis of identity from their very earliest years onwards”.
On Spiked-online, Professor Furedi went further: ‘The purpose of the WHO guidance, which has been eagerly taken up by educational and health authorities over the past 10 or so years, is not education – it is indoctrination. This is clear from the WHO’s emphasis on ‘sexuality education’, rather than what used to be known as ‘sex education’. There is an important difference between these two terms. Whereas sex education involves teaching children about sex and human reproduction, ‘sexuality education’ focusses on gender and sexual identity. As part of ‘sexuality education’, children are not being taught the facts of life. They’re being taught a highly contested ideology.’
He added that adult society needs to fight back against this silent campaign of indoctrination.
Welsh Government followed WHO
Incredibly, the Welsh Government based its sex education policy on exactly the WHO terminology Prof Furedi condemned. Its draft Relationships and Sexuality Education Guidance published in 2019 said: ‘The change in name to Relationships and Sexuality Education reflects the internationally recognised World Health Organisation (WHO) standards for sexuality education.’
Mercifully, the Wales published guidance (2021) avoids the worst excesses of the WHO guidance. However, it still says: ‘Across the learning strands, curriculum content in RSE must be inclusive and reflect diversity. It must include learning that develops learners’ awareness and understanding of different identities, views and values and a diversity of relationships, gender and sexuality, including LGBTQ+ lives. ‘ It is, in other words, woke propaganda. And indeed, the word ‘sexuality’ occurs 16 tines, ‘gender’ 17. From age 11, children should have ‘An ability to advocate for and advance the rights of all and understand and respect all people in relation to sex, gender and sexuality.
Earlier this month, Laura Anne Jones, Conservative shadow minister for education in Wales’ regional government, challenged the WHO to take down its guidelines for sex education in Europe.
However, the problem is worldwide, with WHO advocating for Comprehensive Sexuality Education across the developing world. See this article from Kenya Christian Voice:

The royal formal invitation to the coronation features the pagan 'Green Man' symbol at its base.
Westminster Abbey will host the coronation of king Charles in just over two weeks time.
The Coronation of King Charles on 6th May 2023 is in disarray, Christian Voice has learned. Lambeth Palace, home and office of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and Buckingham Palace are in dispute over the inclusion of other faiths. The row is the reason why, just over two weeks from the event, the order of service has not yet been published.
The king wants a selection of other faith leaders involved, chiefly a Muslim imam or two. The Archbishop is insisting that the coronation is a Christian service governed by the rules of the established church.
AnglicanInk reports: ‘Charles famously declared his wish to be “Defender of Faith” rather than simply “Defender of the Faith” nearly thirty years ago. It is expected that the Coronation will be more religiously and culturally diverse than the late Queen’s 1953 service. However, Church leaders are reportedly resisting a more active role for other faith leaders given that the event is Anglican in nature and a constitutional affair.’
Furthermore: ‘Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell have both stated that the Coronation “at its centre is a Christian service… rooted in long-standing tradition and Christian symbolism.” Archbishop Welby is reportedly giving the King “religious guidance” on the significance of his oath, the commitments he will make to his subjects, and the Christian symbolism of the regalia.’ All of that proclaims:
Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
If the king himself wants that blessing upon his nation he will not taint his coronation by including in it those who assert the supremacy of a pagan deity and/or deny the divinity of the King of kings.
Whose decision is it?
Rt Rev Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury
It is the Archbishop who is responsible for the Order of Service. Westminster Abbey is a “royal peculiar” because it is under the jurisdiction of the British monarch and not the Church of England. Nevertheless, it remains an Anglican church, with a Church of England dean in charge.
The Abbey is subject to the canon laws of the Church of England. Canon law bars Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, and other faith leaders from reading prayers during the service. In that regard canon law follows the prophecy of Isaiah:
Isa 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. (‘The Lord’ is the KJV translation of the actual name of God: YHWH)
Apparently, a meeting was held at Lambeth Palace last month. Reports said ‘The drafting of the order of service was conducted with “scrupulous regard” for the opinions of Anglican clergy’, whatever that means.
The aim was to publish the Order of Service “before Easter, with suitable guidance for the clergy.” What does that mean? Statements were issued by Lambeth Palace on behalf of the Archbishop of Canterbury and Buckingham Palace, saying that “Details about the Coronation service will be released in due course.”
Shambles
But the delay is beginning to look embarrassing. the Bible says:
1Cor 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
Officials published the order of service for the coronation of HLM Queen Elizabeth II, which was held on 3rd June 1953, almost four months in advance, in February of that year.
Staging going up opposite Westminster Abbey so a select few may watch the coronation procession. But where is the Order of Service?
Here we are, barely two weeks away from a national event of huge significance, and the king’s determination to be inclusive and identitarian has put a massive spanner in the works.
Right now, scaffolders are erecting staging outside Westminster Abbey so people, presumably a select few, can have a view of the king’s procession. Yet he cannot humble himself to agree how the service itself will be constructed.
On a separate note, the Daily Telegraph reports how the red and ermine robes of the nobility coupled with coronets denoting their rank made the late queen’s coronation such a spectacle. However, they have been forbidden to wear them this time around. Only a handful have been invited in any case. They are expected to turn up in lounge suits.
His majesty, whether advised by his ministers or not, appears to be developing the knack of offending everyone at once. There appears not to be an applecart which should not be upset, contrary to scripture, which urges respect for the past:
Prov 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.
Communion service
As the Palace website goes so far as to say: ‘The Coronation is a solemn religious service, as well as an occasion for celebration and pageantry.’ Why did the Palace put ‘religious’ rather than‘Christian’?
Westminster Abbey tells it as it is: ‘The order of service is a reminder that coronations take place within a Communion service or Eucharist. The monarch is crowned in the name of God, surrounded by prayer, and the first thing that the newly-crowned monarch does is receive Holy Communion as a sign of his dependency on God.’

The ceremony is built on scripture. The anointing follows Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anointing Solomon, as George Handel’s great anthem, ‘Zadok the Priest’, proclaims:
1Kings 1:39 And Zadok the priest took an horn of oil out of the tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet; and all the people said, God save king Solomon.
The covenant between God, the Archbishop, the king and the people is based on Jehoiada’s consecration of Joash (the whole dramatic chapter is worth a read.)
2Kings 11:17 And Jehoiada (the high priest) made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD’S people; between the king also and the people. (cf 2Chron 23:16)
Does the king understand his role?
We have raised before the question of whether the king even understands his role is to serve the people, as the Bible directs:
1Kings 12:7 And they spake unto him (Rehoboam), saying, If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants for ever.
We reveal in the first of those articles that His Majesty seems more keen on being a servant to Klaus Schwab and the elites of the World Economic Forum. He appears in his book ‘Harmony’ to make a goddess out of ‘Nature’, which word he always spells with a capital ‘N’.

He fails to stand up for his people against the paganism of the Net Zero fanatics. On top of that, As the Royal website itself displays, the formal invitations to the Coronation prominently feature, almost as a foundation, the mythical ‘Green Man’, the pagan representation of fertility. Away from the historic coats of arms, in the design itself there is not a cross in sight.
Historic UK reports how stonemasons used to sneak in a representation of the ‘green man’ on ancient churches: ‘Pre-Christian pagan traditions and superstitions, particularly those related to nature and tree worship, were still influential in the early Middle Ages.’
A writer on Wikipedia is even more explicit: ‘For many modern pagans, the Green Man is used as a symbol of seasonal renewal and ecological awareness. In Wicca, the Green Man has often been used as a representation of the Horned God, a syncretic deity that incorporates aspects of, among others, the Celtic Cernunnos and the Greek Pan.’
Pray!
The row over the order of service is revealing a lot of rather uncomfortable views held by king Charles. It is our prophetic duty to call on him to repent. As scripture says:
Prov 16:12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
In the face of all this, we must fall to our knees in prayer for him, as scripture commands:
1Tim 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Sadly, it appears that King Charles is not the only climate fanatic in the Royal Family. His elder son, Prince William, was in Boston USA in early December 2022 for a glittering ceremony awarding the latest ‘Earthshot Prize’. What is that and how does it fit in to royal climate alarmism?
We know Prince William has set up – or at least become the figurehead of – the ‘Earthshot Prize’.
On his royalfoundation.com website, someone speaking for the Prince writes: ‘The Prize will incentivise change and help to repair our planet over the next ten years – a critical decade for the Earth.’
What (it’s tempting to say ‘what on earth’) does the Prince even mean by ‘Repair our Planet’? He uses the expression all the time, as do the commentators. For example: ‘Prince William and Sir David Attenborough Join Forces to Repair the Planet by 2030 With £50 Million Prize.’ An allied expression, and the subject of one of the five prizes, is ‘Fix the Climate’. But the Prince never actually defines or explains what needs ‘repairing’ or ‘fixing’ by 2030. Maybe the earth’s clutch is wearing out? Or something needs welding? Who knows? Or is it, a cynical thought maybe, just a catchy slogan, a ‘thing of nought’?
Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.
STOVES BRING HEALTH BENEFIT
The 2022 Earthshot Prize, as 2021, had five categories. ‘Protect and Restore Nature, Clean our Air, Revive our Oceans, Build a Waste-free World and Fix our Climate.’ 2021 winners HERE.
The winners (2022 winners HERE) received £1million in prize money each. (Five £1m prizes times ten years equals £50million.) The Prince has clearly leveraged significant backing for the project. Why, we can ask the Lord in prayer, do such vanities attract so much money? Perhaps we need to read Psalm 73 again.

But that is not to detract from the enterprise of at least some of the winners. For example, under ‘Clean our Air’, Mukuru Clean Stoves from Kenya won this year with a project aimed at building a simple ‘Jiko’, as a charcoal-burning cooking stove is called in Swahili.
Containing what is in effect a barbecue built from scrap sheet steel with a grid on which to put the pot instead of resting a pot on three stones over an open fire is much more efficient, generates less fumes, which is important when cooking is done indoors, is safer for children and naturally, burns less fuel.
The company is also marketing a blend of charcoal, wood and sugercane as a cleaner, more efficient and healthier fuel.
A Mukuru Clean Stove in a dwelling,
Managing Director and visionary Charlot Magayi marketed the benefits as emitting less CO2, and even squeezed ‘repair our planet’ into her Earthshot pitch. But let us take nothing away from Charlot and Mukuru. Cooking in a pot over a fire of some sort is how food is generally prepared in rural areas of Africa. The money will enable this gifted young woman to roll out her social enterprise to benefit more people and even expand across the continent, saving fuel, money and lives.
Prov 18:16 A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.
WWF and WEF connections

However, another winner was a man in Oman who wants to trap carbon dioxide in caves. Carbon Dioxide is vital food for plants. The project looks both pointless and vain. But it is the philosophy behind Earthshot, with its pagan mother-earth overtones and its association with godless elites which is a challenge to the Kingdom of God and which we need to examine.
Firstly is the role played by Sir David Attenborough in the Netflix walrus deception in the 2019 ‘Our Planet’ series produced for WorldWide Fund for Nature (WWF) by Silverback Films. In her fascinating book Fallen Icon, arctic expert Dr Susan Crockford exposed this scandal and Sir David’s part in it in meticulous detail. It is worth buying.
On the matter of the Earthshot Prize, Dr Crockford explained some of what went on behind the scenes: ‘Just days after the release of ‘A Life on Our Planet’, (in October 2020) … Attenborough teamed up with fellow World Economic Forum supporter Prince William to announce a new “environmental” endeavour: the Earthshot Prize.

It was later explained that the five winners of £1 million each, to be announced on 17th October 2021 in London, would be decided by an extremely elite council that included Attenborough, Prince William and the head of the International Panel on Climate Change.’ (Fallen Icon p137)
In his staged interview at Davos with Prince William in January 2019, Sir David disclosed the value of propaganda: ‘My next series – Our Planet – will go instantly to hundreds of millions of people in almost every country on Earth via Netflix. If people can truly understand what is at stake, I believe they will give permission to business and governments to get on with the practical solutions’.
In this context, the Earthshot Prize is merely a glittery part of the message to secure the ‘permission’ the WEF needs for the Great Reset. And that was launched, if we remember, in early 2020 by King, then Prince, Charles.
There was also a five-part TV series produced by the BBC and Silverback Films released in October 2021. This ‘climate crisis’ series was called ‘The Earthshot Prize: Repairing our Planet’. Dr Crockford discloses that a companion book to the film series was also released in the UK and Europe on 30th September 2021 and a week later in the US. It was entitled, ‘Earthshot: How to Save Our Planet’.
A note on the two authors says: ‘Colin Butfield is co-founder of Studio Silverback, Executive Producer of the WWF’s Our Planet project and an advisor for the Earthshot Prize. Jonnie Hughes is an award-winning natural history TV producer, co-founder of Studio Silverback, and bestselling author and co-writer of Sir David Attenborough’s A Life on Our Planet.’ The money-spinning WWF had to be there somewhere.
It should come as no surprise that Dr Crockford reports ‘Silverback Films and WWF now have a formal business relationship to produce documentary films with a conservation message.’ Expect, she says: ‘a continued onslaught of high-definition WWF propaganda, which could contain statements from Attenborough until he is no longer able to appear on camera.’
DEALING WITH WASTE
Going back to the five prizes, and in the context of stewardship, we can agree that air should be clean. God is also against waste. Both the prophet in pronouncing judgment and our Lord telling a parable assume waste is a bad thing:
Joel 1:10 The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.
Luke 15:13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
But there is a measure of vainglory in ‘Protect and Restore Nature’, ‘Revive our Oceans’, and ‘Fix our Climate.’ The Prince assumes all need doing and all are doable. Both assumptions can be challenged in all three areas.
Great Barrier Reef
For instance, there were scare programmes on TV about supposed irreversible damage to the Great Barrier Reef off Australia. But the latest data shows the coral on the reef is growing back fast. People like the new Prince of Wales and the new King ignore cyclical variations. We read:
Gen 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
The man was not to become obsessed with the garden or make a goddess out of it. Furthermore, the elite are so cocooned in their world and cushioned by the people they mix with that they have little idea that ordinary people need to earn a living and that a woodland might need to be cleared to grow crops, raise livestock, quarry minerals or build a factory.
That is not to defend wholesale clearance of the Amazon for inefficient cattle ranching. But it is to say things might not be quite so black-and-white as they seem and there may be more resilience in nature than some notable princes believe.
NET ZERO ‘ILLOGICAL’
The push for Net Zero is also ‘illogical’ according to Nick MacLeod writing in Daily Sceptic in December 2022. Using basic mathematics, Dr MacLeod showed how a series of connected statements must all be correct for Net Zero policy to be valid:
‘Start from a small number of statements that make up the Net Zero commitment.
‘1 The Earth must actually be warming.
‘2 The warming must pose a genuine and serious threat to life on Earth.
‘3 The warming must be man-made. Specifically, it must be caused by excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere arising from human activity.
‘4 The U.K.’s Net Zero policy must bring about a meaningful global reduction of atmospheric carbon. That is, it must either make a significant reduction in its own right, or it must set an example that persuades other countries to reduce their own carbon emissions, to a degree sufficient to stop the warming.’
‘For UK Net Zero to be effective, statements 1-4 must all be correct. If any one of them is false, the policy will fail, either because it doesn’t lead to sufficient carbon reduction, or because the policy wasn’t necessary in the first place.’
Even if they are all 75% true, the policy will only be 32% effective. If they are all 50/50, that figure drops to 6% (½ x ½ x ½ x ½ = 1/16).
WISE STEWARDSHIP
The Christian concept of wise stewardship is built on the Gen 2:15 verse above and what the Lord God said earlier to Adam:
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
We read this in conjunction with Psalm 24:
Psa 24:1 A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Man is not to deify God’s creation, but to dress and keep it, to subdue it and have dominion over it. That may be a hard act to get right, but with wisdom from on high, humility and understanding, it must be do-able.
CREATION GROANETH
Although the Almighty has said he will never again send a worldwide flood, the Apostle Peter gives a warning that much as men might want to protect the earth, it is not here for ever:
2Pet 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Moreover, as a consequence of the fall, we cannot expect some halcyon state:
Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
CLIMATE ANXIETY

Recently, Prince William told the BBC’s Adam Fleming in an interview in October 2021 that there was ‘a rise in climate anxiety’ among young people whose ‘futures are basically threatened the whole time’.
‘It’s very unnerving and it’s very, you know, anxiety making,’ he said. It is true, there is a Thunberg-inspired young generation which now believes we are all doomed. Some are refusing to have children because of the ‘anxiety’. But William and his father are helping to stoke it up.
The Duke added‘it would be an absolute disaster if [Prince] George is sat here talking’ about saving the planet in 30 year’s time. It would indeed, but for a very different reason from that the Prince imagines. In October 2022, William sent a video to the Earthshot Summit in New York. He expected to attend, but the death of Her Majesty prevented that.

In his video he said: ‘Protecting the environment was a cause close to my grandmother’s heart, and I know she would have been delighted to hear about this event and the support you are all giving our Earthshot Finalists—the next generation of environmental pioneers.’
In his stead, the Prince asked the darling of the WEF, the then New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, to speak. She too began by reflecting on the late British monarch. “She is someone who was focused, committed, and demonstrated what could be achieved when you show fortitude and longevity,” Ms Ardern said of Elizabeth II. “We need all those same characteristics to take on the environmental challenges ahead of us.”
ROYAL IRRITATION

Was her late majesty a climate cheerleader? Well, in October 2021, the Queen opened the Senedd in Cardiff. In conversation with the Duchess of Cornwall and Elin Jones, the presiding officer, Sky reported that she spoke about the Glasgow COP26 Summit saying ‘it’s really irritating when they talk but they don’t do’.
According to the BBC, In her broadcast address to the Glasgow gathering, the Queen recalled how the ‘impact of the environment on human progress was a subject close to the heart’ of the late Duke of Edinburgh. Her Late Majesty said: ‘It is a source of great pride to me that the leading role my husband played in encouraging people to protect our fragile planet, lives on through the work of our eldest son Charles and his eldest son William. I could not be more proud of them.’
But is the ‘planet’ really as‘fragile’ as HLM assumed? Are David Attenborough and Prince William sitting solidly on science when they stir up anxiety among the young?
Bear in mind that all the predictions made by politicians and journalists about climate change are based on climate computer programmes vainly trying to model a chaotic dimly-understood system swirling around the earth. Bear in mind also that CO2 is not a poison; it provides food for the plants upon which all life eventually depends:
Psalm 104:14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
Bear in mind also the deep misanthropy of figures like Sir David, the neo-fascist command and control agenda of the WEF with which all the major actors named above are involved and remember this promise of God:
Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
We should always remember that the earth was created by God to be resilient. The Bible says:
Psalm 93:1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
PRAY!
PRAY: Thank God for human enterprise. Praise him that we are made in his image to be creative. Thank him for for giving Charlot Magayi such a gift of vision and enterprise and for bringing her before great men. But pray against the elitism of those same great men and pray they will seek the prosperity of the people rather than that of ‘the planet’.

Explain that climate change is a spiritual issue. Net Zero, with its forced electric cars, banning gas central heating, compulsory heat pumps, assaults on food security, demonising of fossil fuels leading to expensive unreliable energy is based on elitism and paganism, not on the word of God in the Bible:
Prov 14:12 (cf Prov 16:25) There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Moreover, the Net Zero agenda is fully set to impoverish both his father’s subjects and emerging economies in the developing world. Is that the role of leaders? The Bible says:
Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

King Charles. Is he a king for the people or for the elites?
King Charles. Is he a king for the people or for the elites?
We need to take a close look at the globalist links of King Charles and the environmentalist agenda with which he, and the heir to the throne Prince William, are closely associated. The king’s links and opinions may well inform the advice he will give his prime minister. Therefore they will also inform our prayers for him and for his ministers.
Charles reads his Declaration before the Privy Council
In his September 2022 declaration before the Privy Council King Charles said his purpose was ‘to seek the peace, harmony and prosperity’ of those under his rule.
His purpose and that of his government is not to drag his subjects into needless war or into rebellion against the Almighty. It is not to preside over inequalities before the law. It is not to impoverish the people. It is to do them good, based on loving, honouring, God and regally loving his neighbour:
Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
The Christian Voice statement of belief concludes by saying: ‘We believe all government to be under the authority of God and that its purpose is the maintenance of freedom and justice solely in accordance with biblical principles.’
That accords with the king’s first two principles, those of peace and harmony. But a look at the scripture shows that government is also there to advance prosperity.
At the time we framed our statement of belief, we took it for granted that governments would naturally try to prosper their people. We assumed every minister of the Crown would at least intend to promote the public good. We thought when they failed to do that it was because of incompetence, not malice.
We understood of course about annual Bilderberg meetings and other gatherings of the great and not necessarily good. We knew the men with power and money would try to organise things for their benefit. All the same, in their combination of old-school capitalism and US geopolitics, there would be something from the money-men’s meetings left over for the rest of us.
WEF TAKES THE PLACE OF BILDERBERG

Covid lockdowns and climate action, together with the emergence of a ‘new kid on the block’, the World Economic Forum (WEF), have changed those presumptions. In fact, the lockdowns and the NetZero fanaticism have awakened us to the WEF and the schemes of the very well-connected German businessman Klaus Schwab who founded it.
WEF has steadily taken the place of the Bilderbergers. Despite the greater apparent openness of the former compared with the secrecy of the latter, policies driven by the WEF elite (2020 attendees listed here) appear now to be designed either deliberately or carelessly to impoverish the people.
‘You will own nothing and you will be happy’, as the notorious WEF video put it last year. It goes without saying that is not the Biblical ideal. The Bible paints a picture of small-scale family-based enterprise, expressed beautifully here as a millennial vision by the prophet Micah:
Micah 4:4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.
THE FASCIST GREAT RESET
The big idea of the WEF and brainchild of its founder is ‘The Great Reset’. It has been the subject of Herr Schwab’s books. But it is not what Micah had in mind at all. The Great Reset incorporates the concepts of ‘stakeholder capitalism’, a ‘fourth industrial revolution’, a ‘global society’, a ‘new normal’, a ‘new deal for nature’ and fusing people and technology together in ‘transhumanism’. Anything, wars, pandemics, climate hysteria, can, have been and will be used to advance the Great Reset.
Under communism, the people, rather, the officials of the state, own and run all businesses. In the original version of fascism, in Italy and Germany in the 1930s, the shareholders owned businesses, but the state, or the elite, decided their direction. There is a Common Purpose (which is itself the name of yet another godless, elitist project here in the UK). So the Great Reset is at heart technically a fascist project.
Communism theoretically acted in the interests of the people, but it was inherently oppressive because it could never work outside God’s smallest societal unit of the family and it was opposed to God’s economic order. Fascism, on the other hand, uses the state to protect and advance the interests of the wealthy elite. That is what WEF is all about. But in the Bible the Prophet Isaiah condemns the idea:
Isaiah 5:8 Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
CHARLES LAUNCHED GREAT RESET!

This is why it is disturbing to find King Charles so involved, when he was Prince of Wales, with WEF and Herr Schwab.
According to the WEF website weforum.org, ‘The Great Reset is a new initiative from the World Economic Forum and HRH the Prince of Wales to guide decision-makers on the path to a more resilient, sustainable world beyond coronavirus.’
On another page from 3rd June 2020 we read:
‘The Great Reset launched by World Economic Forum and HRH The Prince of Wales.
‘Seeking better form of capitalism as world recovers from pandemic.
‘Welcomed by UN, IMF, and companies Microsoft, Mastercard and BP.
‘Subscribe to podcasts: World Vs Virus and The Great Reset.
‘”The COVID-19 crisis has shown us that our old systems are not fit any more for the 21st century,” said World Economic Forum Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab. “In short, we need a great reset”.’
‘We’ in this context means the elite, of course, not ordinary people. It is a far cry from the Biblical way of servant leadership set out by the Lord Jesus:
Matt 20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant…
‘INNOVATIVE INTERVENTION’
The 3rd June 2020 meeting also introduced the ‘Build Back Better’ slogan. Under ‘World Vs Virus’ the launch of the Great Reset was now billed as ‘a project to bring the world’s best minds together to seek a better, fairer, greener, healthier planet as we rebuild from the pandemic.’
Professor Neil Ferguson: whatever they could get away with
There was of course no need to ‘rebuild from the pandemic.’ It was the very lockdowns and restrictions brought in by ‘the world’s best minds’ which introduced their necessity to ‘rebuild’. Furthermore, that ‘world’s best minds’ expression betrays the elitism of Klaus Schwab and King Charles.
In the early days of Covid, government advisors fell in love with the idea of lockdowns and restrictions on people’s movements. In an interview in The Times in December 2020, Professor Neil Ferguson said that when SAGE observed the “innovative intervention” in China, locking entire communities down and not permitting them to leave their homes, they initially presumed it would not be an available option in a liberal Western democracy. However, Italy following the Chinese example changed that, as Neil Ferguson revealed:
‘It’s a communist one party state, we said. We couldn’t get away with it in Europe, we thought… and then Italy did it. And we realised we could.’
JUDGMENT IS COMING
Thank God that he sitteth in the heavens will have them in derision. The Bible says a judgment is coming on the comfortable men in this world who despise the Lord.
Zeph 1:12 And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.
The Apostle Peter warned the Church:
1Pet 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
However, the judgment will not stop with the Church. In his revelation, the Apostle John tells us the end of those men Peter mentioned:
Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
‘GREENER’ AND ‘SUSTAINABLE’
If the manufactured ‘climate crisis’ helped the idea of the Great Reset, the Covid was a boon, as the WEF website tells us:
‘”The pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world” – Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman, World Economic Forum.’
But HM, HRH as he was then, was completely on board, seeing in the ‘Great Reset’ an opportunity to promote his environmentalism:
‘”There is a golden opportunity to seize something good from this crisis…global crises know no borders, and highlight how interdependent we are as one people sharing one planet”.’
The WEF website explains: ‘Speaking at the launch of the Forum’s Great Reset on Wednesday, those were the words of HRH the Prince of Wales on humanity’s chance to craft a more sustainable and equitable world in the wake of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
‘He added: “Unless we take the action necessary, and build in a greener and more inclusive and sustainable way, then we will have more and more pandemics”.’
How could he possibly know that? And what is all this going to cost ordinary people? The prophet said:
Ezek 45:9 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD.
WHAT THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH
So it has become that, not just with the Covid but now with NetZero, governments, that is politicians and elites, are advancing themselves and their fads rather than the public good. Let us remember, the reaction to Covid was never about public health. It was about protecting the reputation of government in case the NHS was overwhelmed and they took the blame. Hence: ‘Protect the NHS!’
So it has come to pass that governments in the West, with the UK as the prime example, are not now seeking ‘peace, harmony and prosperity’ but, as Neil Ferguson admitted, seeing what they can get away with.
We shall quote Abraham Lincoln below, but the most famous utterance ever attributed to him dates from a paraphrase of a line in a speech he gave in 1858: “You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”
Yet government now appear to believe they can get away with barefaced lies, ungodly measures and incompetence if they can fool enough of the people enough of the time.
LINCOLN’S IDEAL OF GOVERNMENT
They are aided by their friends in the mainstream media, who have forgotten the prophetic responsibilities of the fourth estate. They mix with woke celebrities in advancing every fashionable cause. It is well known that in a democracy no politician dare think long-term.
If a week is a long time in politics, the period between now and the next election is the very farthest ahead they can look. And in the meantime, how far can they push the people before they rise up and rebel? What can they get away with?
In his Gettysburg Address of 1863, President Lincoln expressed a desire that “government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
Yet what we increasingly have, whether in the UK or the US, or virtually all the so-called developed world, is government of the elite, by the elite, for the elite. It is a far cry from seeking the common good – the prosperity – of the people, as scripture demands.
COP 26

In October 2021, world leaders were planning to fly in to Glasgow, most of them in private jets, to encourage each other to bring in policies to advance the Net Zero agenda. HRH the Prince of Wales gave the opening address. The princeofwales.gov.uk website carries the transcript, which is headed with this excerpt:
‘I can only urge you, as the world’s decision-makers, to find practical ways of overcoming differences so we can all get down to work, together, to rescue this precious planet and save the threatened future of our young people.’
HRH opened: ‘Your Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen, the Covid-19 pandemic has shown us just how devastating a global, cross-border threat can be. Climate change and biodiversity loss are no different – in fact, they pose an even greater existential threat, to the extent that we have to put ourselves on what might be called a war-like footing.’
His speech was as alarmist as a Greta Thunberg oration: ‘You do not need me to tell you that the eyes – and hopes – of the world are upon you to act with all despatch, and decisively – because time has run out.’
‘TACKLE THE CARBON’
He went on in Malthusian terms: ‘With a growing global population creating ever-increasing demand on the planet’s finite resources, we have to reduce emissions urgently and take action to tackle the carbon already in the atmosphere, including from coal-fired power stations. Putting a value on carbon, thus making carbon capture solutions more economical, is therefore absolutely critical. Similarly, after billions of years of evolution, Nature is our best teacher – in this regard, restoring Natural Capital, accelerating Nature-based solutions and leveraging the circular bioeconomy will be vital to our efforts.’
There is so much wrong with that, even passing over ‘billions of years of evolution’. Firstly, why should mankind ‘tackle the carbon already in the atmosphere’? Carbon Dioxide is not a poison. It is food for the very plants which populations need to grow and graze their livestock on to produce food. Furthermore, agricultural products are not ‘finite’. They are constantly replenished, fuelled by CO2 and the sun. As the Bible says:
Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
As to the ‘vital’ necessity of ‘restoring Natural Capital, accelerating Nature-based solutions and leveraging the circular bioeconomy’, what does any of that even mean? It might be necessary to read the book ‘Harmony’, a book written in 2010 by Charles, then Prince of Wales, with Tony Juniper and Ian Skelly, to find out. I shall try to do that to save you the trouble, but as there are 320 pages of it, it could take some time.
HM’S CAR ‘RUNS ON WINE’
Only a year ago, the Washington Post reported ‘Charles revealed he runs his beloved 51-year-old Aston Martin convertible on “surplus English white wine and whey from the cheese process,” essentially bioethanol fuel.
‘Pressed about his energy consumption, the prince said he had installed a hydroelectric turbine on one of his rivers and biomass boilers fueled by trees felled at his Scottish home, Birkhall, on the 52,000-acre Balmoral estate of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
‘He has put solar panels on top of his London mansion, Clarence House, and on the farm buildings at Highgrove House, his residence in the Cotswolds.’
This is not a man about to advise his Prime Minister to re-open the coal mines and develop clean coal technology. He is confident in his view, but what if he is wrong?

PRAY AND ACT
Thank God for laying out in scripture his way for government and enterprise, for limiting the powers of rulers and requiring them to serve the people. Thank him for revealing the elitist environmentalism of our new king.
Pray that the designs of the World Economic Forum, of Klaus Schwab and his friends in high places, will be understood and thwarted. Pray for our Prime Minister to stand against these dark spiritual forces.

An employment judge has ruled that Patrycja Wierowska can argue at an upcoming tribunal that she chose to refuse the coronavirus vaccine for religious reasons.
According to the Daily Mail, Ms. Wierowska said the dismissal was due to her refusal to have a Covid-19 shot on religious grounds. Before being fired on 28th April 2021, she worked as a care giver for HC-One care homes.
Ms. Patrycja maintained her decision was based on the Christian principle that life is sacred. The use of aborted foetuses in testing Covid-19 vaccines is against her faith. During an employment tribunal, Judge Eoin Fowell ruled that Ms. Wierowska could rely on her religion as a protected characteristic. He wrote, ‘I am satisfied that her views about the vaccine are intimately connected with her religious faith. There is a sufficiently close and direct nexus between her refusal to take a Covid-19 vaccine and her underlying beliefs.’
Vaccines Vs. Aborted Foetuses
In December 2020, Reuters reported that the Vatican told RC members it was morally acceptable to use Covid-19 vaccines if there were no alternatives. The Vatican said granting of moral legitimacy was related to the principle of ‘different degrees of responsibility of cooperation in evil.’ However, giving evidence at the hearing, Ms. Patrycja said she accepted the Vatican’s position but that she also had ‘free will.’
Furthermore, a full fact report published on the Christian Voice website, shows that fetal cell lines grown in a laboratory based on aborted fetal cells collected generations ago were used in testing during the research and development of the mRNA and Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
An earlier version was the line of MRC-5 cells, originally taken from an aborted baby in 1966. Hence, pretending that aborted foetuses and vaccines are unconnected is outrageous.
Freedom without Exemptions
Article 18 of the United Nations(UN) Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted in 1948, states that ‘everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion.’ Why the Covid-19 vaccination is an exemption remains a mystery. Moreover, the Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) outlined in Article 18 does not only include the right to hold philosophical and religious convictions but also the right to express them publicly or privately. People should be able to exercise their rights and act on their beliefs without discrimination.
Know your Rights
Throughout the Covid-19 lockdown, companies across the globe attempted to impose vaccination rules on their employees. A report by NBC News cited companies that enforced mandatory vaccine policies. The Landau Solicitors found it to be unlawful. Consequently, in addressing the issue of forced vaccination, LANDAU Solicitors maintained that employers and even the UK government do not have the right to compel employees to get a coronavirus jab without their consent. A forceful employee may file a claim in an employment tribunal.
In the same way, if an employer dismissed an employee for refusing to take the vaccine, an unfair dismissal claim could be filed within two years of the termination. The Bible describes this act as an oppression. The Holy book says: Leviticus 5: 17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the Lord your God. In addition, there could also be a separate claim for discrimination. If somebody was, for example, justified in refusing the vaccination on religious grounds.
In a telephone interview with Chukwuma Ilogie (a businessman), he told Christian Voice, ‘I was the manager of my unit and I got fired for refusing the vaccine. Why will I be injected with something I have zero trust in? Other members of my team stayed in that Job due to fears of joblessness in the phase of lockdown uncertainties.’ Christian Voice also interviewed employees of Hi-Impact Television Nigeria, who spoke on conditions of anonymity. They expressed displeasure over how they were made to choose between the vaccine or stay at home.
Wake-up Call
Patrycja Wierowska’s refusal to go against her faith is a bugle call to Christians all over the world. Her decision to stand with Jesus Christ regardless of the storm is worthy of emulation. Our Lord Jesus said: Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. As the roll out of more vaccines continues in the UK, Christains must remain vigilant and steadfast in prayers.
New Vaccine to be Administered in September
Covid-19 Jab
The UK on 15th August announced plans to roll out a dual vaccination programme known as a bivalent vaccine (Spikevax). The roll out will be on 5th September 2022. In a press release on the government’s website, the report claims that the new vaccine will tackle both the first Covid virus and the Omicron variant.
Similarly, the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) considers the evidence and approves the vaccine for use in adults. If the Spikevax vaccine proved to be immune to the original strain and Omicron variant, what then is the usefulness of the previous jabs administered and distributed to the populace? Did the MHRA become oblivious of the unpredictable nature of the so-called virus?
Additionally, Chief Executive of the Medicine and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA)Dr. June Raine, said ‘what this vaccine gives us is a sharpened tool in our armoury to help protect us against this disease as the virus continues to evolve’. This is the same Moderna vaccine in 2021 that was said to possess 90% potency in preventing Covid-19 infections, hospitalisation and death. Yet people died after getting the jab.
What becomes the fate of those to be administered the bivalent (Spikevak) Omicron vaccine this September? Will the story change or will these claims be proven false?
The Experiment
The current population of the United Kingdom is 68,659,069 as of 4th September 2022, based on Worldometer elaboration of the latest United Nations data.
Based on the above statistics, it is astonishing to see that an experiment carried out by Moderna on 436 people in the whole of the UK was enough to prove the efficacy of the ‘updated vaccine’.
Vaccine Effectiveness
According to the Daily Sceptic, more Americans have lost a family member to Covid-19 vaccine injuries than to ‘Covid virus’. Based on the results of five surveys now totalling over 2,500 respondents, 4.4% reported a member of their household had died from Covid-19. 8.9% said a loved one died from Covid vaccination.
Likewise, 8.6% of respondents reported injuries from the vaccination, 4.9% sought medical treatment, 3.2% got hospitalised, and 3.6% were unable to work after the vaccination. Looking at the above report, It is not out of place to ask the UK government and other countries insisting this vaccination where we go from here?

America really is finished, or at least its ‘intelligensia’. According to Australian Associated Press, as reported in The Guardian: ‘Jacinda Ardern has spoken out against the online “scourge of disinformation” in an address at Harvard University, in which she also won standing ovations for her government’s gun control laws, diversity and decriminalisation of abortion.’ Of course she did.
‘The New Zealand prime minister was honoured by the American university , making the annual commencement address to more than a thousand students on Thursday from the same stage as figures such as Winston Churchill, Angela Merkel, Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey (sic).’ Harvard gave the Klaus Schwab protégée an honorary degree into the bargain.
‘Ardern’s address was built around the need for democratic systems and informed debate.’ Do we need to point out that ‘disinformation’ means any line of which the elite disapprove and ‘informed debate’ means material they like?
Fusion is finished too
Nuclear fusion is finished as a technology. There won’t be enough of hydrogen isotope tritium to fuel it writes Amit Katwala in Wired.
The technology was intended to fuel the world, leading us into a new risk-free zero-emissions electric dawn. Now we learn that nuclear fission must provide tritium as a by-product. But the environmentalists hate nuclear fission. They want the power stations closed. Without the isotope, the deuterium-tritium reaction won’t even get started. All the expensive experimental reactors will be white elephants.
Monkey pox: who’s worried?
Why is anyone worried about monkeypox? The only reason for its sudden spread in the West appears to be that we aren’t exposed to pox viruses like we used to be argues David Cox in Wired. Could another reason be compromised immune systems resulting from Covid vaccinations, though? Just asking.
But on the other hand, what were epidemiologists and modellers doing simulating a monkeypox outbreak programmed in for May 2022 back in March 2021? This Nuclear Threat Initiative webpage records them doing just that, ‘partnered with the Munich Security Conference to conduct a tabletop exercise on reducing high-consequence biological threats.’ How did they know?
And is it not just a bit convenient for a World Health Organisation wanting to digitalise everyone’s vax status and rule the world in the next pandemic, asks CJ Hopkins in Off-Guardian? And strangely enough, the NHS has modified its monkeypox page to make it MORE SCARY!
Covid – the truth will out in the end
Michael Curzon in BournbrookMag says the real lesson of ‘Partygate’ is that those in power knew Covid-19 posed no real threat to the fit and healthy. So why did they impose lockdowns and restrictions on the rest of us, he asks?
The authorities in Australia are being very cagey about releasing statistics showing exactly what percentage of people in hospital with Covid-19 are vaccinated, writes Ramesh Thakur in the Aussie Spectator. Finally:
‘The NSW Respiratory Surveillance Report for the week ending 14 May offered the answers I was looking for. In this ‘epidemiological week 19’, there were 570 Covid cases admitted to hospital, 58 in ICU and 90 deaths (Figure 4). Of these, just 30, 34 and 17 per cent, respectively, were unvaccinated (or vaccination status unknown).
‘Conversely, fully 82 per cent of all Covid-related deaths in the state in this week were at least double vaccinated, including 64 per cent who had received boosters.’
He asks of the vaccination programme, and Australia’s paranoid approach in general: ‘Is this what ‘success’ looks like?’

Olaf Scholz was the only G7 leader to speak at the World Economic Forum’s Davos jamboree this year (May 2022). He said Europe had been struck by a “thunderbolt” from the war in Ukraine. A new “multipolar world” was emerging.
According to the Telegraph, the German Chancellor said: ‘The special phase of globalisation we have experienced in North America and Europe during the last 30 years, with reliable growth, a high level of added value and low inflation is coming to an inevitable end.’
Why might that be? He went on: ‘One reason for this is that the low cost producers of the global south are gradually becoming thriving economies with their own demand, which aspire to the same level of prosperity as we have.’ We have been arguing for ‘Africa First’ for some time now. Godly countries in the continent must establish industry and turn raw materials into product. The era of exporting them to the West and China is coming to an end. Nations are moving ‘Beyond Aid’. Davos has noticed. And as Off-Guardian observes, it doesn’t like it.
‘Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian President, has said Russian bombardments could leave the entire region of Donbas “uninhabited”, accusing the Russians of wanting to reduce its cities to ashes.’ That was even the Telegraph’s own headline. The Russians are trying to liberate these cities from Ukrainian neo-nazis. They are filled with ethnic Russians. Why would they want to reduce them ‘to ashes’? Does anyone believe Mr Zelensky any more? Do our media not even care whether what he says is remotely plausible?

The war will only end, or a cease-fire be agreed, by Ukraine recognising the independence of Donbass and Crimea. Possibly there will be a south-eastern corridor to ensure unhindered movement between the two. However, it will not end until the Americans say it can end. The US and their arms manufacturers had been having too much fun watching the Ukrainians try out their weapons. But there is hope for peace. The Russians have cottoned on. They are starting to destroy those weapons before they arrive. Also, NATO is being slow at providing enough of them, argues the Telegraph’s Con Coughlin.
It was not so long ago, two or three weeks, maybe, when the mainstream media were gleefully celebrating alleged Russian defeats and setbacks. It was only months since they were glorifying Ukrainian models wielding weapons. Not any more. Now the BBC admits: ‘UK PM Boris Johnson says Russian forces continue to “chew through ground” in the region, adding that Putin is making slow but palpable progress.’

The Kenyan senate has published a call for memoranda on the Reproductive Health Bill.
The Senate in the Parliament of Kenya is calling for written memoranda by email on the Reproductive Healthcare Bill currently before it.
The deadline for responding is Monday 17th August. The published notice does not specify that only Kenyans can respond. Accordingly, we can guarantee that international abortionists and their NGO allies will be emailing in droves. There is a lot of money to be made:

It would be of immense value to the Republic of Kenya to hear from those with experience of how legalised abortion has operated in the UK and the Western world. They also need to know how it has opened the door to campaigns for complete decriminalisation of murder in the womb. The email address is at the bottom of this post.
There has been an outcry among Kenyan Christians over this Bill. It seeks to legalise abortion carried out by a doctor, nurse or midwife acting alone, a ‘trained health professional.’
Kenyans were already energised by the Summit in Nairobi held by the United Nations Fund for Population Activities, UNFPA, in November 2019. See our report HERE. That called for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, SRHR, worldwide. SRHR is code for abortion on demand and legalised sodomy. It also wanted Comprehensive Sexuality Education, or CSE, to indoctrinate schoolchildren in immorality.
The grounds for an abortion in the the Kenya Reproductive Healthcare Bill bear an uncanny resemblance to those in the UK’s Abortion Act 1967. The authors even euphonise abortion as ‘termination of a pregnancy’,
UK Abortion Act
The UK Act also likes to speak in its text of ‘medical termination of pregnancy’ rather than ‘abortion’. Firstly, it allows it if ‘the pregnancy would involve risk, greater than if the pregnancy were terminated, of injury to the physical or mental health of the pregnant woman or any existing children of her family.’ Secondly, it also allows abortion ‘to prevent grave permanent injury to the physical or mental health of the pregnant woman.’
We agree that an abortion could be carried out to save the life a pregnant woman, for instance, with an ectopic pregnancy, which is the third ground.
However, the fourth ground is ‘if the child … would suffer from such physical or mental abnormalities as to be seriously handicapped.’ In the UK we insist on ramps and special public toilets for the disabled, but try to kill them before they are born.
Kenya grounds
Similarly, in clause 26 of the Kenya Bill:
‘PART V – TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY
‘26. (1) A pregnancy may be terminated by a trained health professional where in the opinion of the trained health professional—
‘(a) there is need for emergency treatment;
‘(b) the pregnancy would endanger the life or health of the mother; or
‘(c) there exists a substantial risk that the foetus would suffer from a severe physical or mental abnormality that is incompatible with life outside the womb.’
Moreover, there is no definition of what constitutes ‘incompatible with life outside the womb.’ It should mean the child will immediately die upon birth, but who knows what lawyers are capable of arguing? And it’s a baby, by the way. People only use the Latin word ‘foetus’ for one reason. It’s when they are embarrassed about killing a child in what should be the safest place on God’s earth:

Post-abortion counselling
It is only when the Bill moves to post-abortion counselling and unsafe abortion that the ‘A’ word is used: Firstly:
‘29 A trained health professional shall provide postabortion care and counselling for cases of incomplete abrtion or complications arising out of the abortion procedure.’
And secondly, under clause 32, adolescents are to be told about the ‘consequences of unsafe abortion’.
The Bill also provides for access to ‘family planning’, ‘assisted reproduction’, sterilisation and – ‘reproductive health of adolescents’. The is not time to go into those right now. Please click on the link to the Bill and make representations on those to the Kenyan Senate if you have expertise.

Damning evidence about the effects of the lockdown, how the lockdown is not itself evidence-based, how the Imperial College Professor Ferguson paper is not even science, not even speculation, but intended to elicit a particular response from governments, is now emerging.
But first, you need to watch a video. Greece was being held up as an early-lockdown success story last night by the BBC. Just more pro-lockdown propaganda, of course.
Here are the facts about Greece as presented on the amazing video below: On Sunday 22nd March 2020, the Greek governemnt under prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis of the center/right wing party announced some of the most draconian social distancing measures in the world, even though only 15 Covid-19 deaths had occurred thus far. People have to carry a special signed form with them to leave their house. Walking alone at the parks, sitting by the beach, swimming, even scuba diving, were all banned.

Greek church told to shut
The initial announcement did not include the church because Mr Mitsotakis did not want to carry the political cost of pressing the church to close down. On that day, the Greek Orthodox church held a council and decided to bring services two hours earlier, so they would end before 8am. They hoped that would appease the government. However, 45 minutes later, Mr Mitsotakis issued a decree banning all church congregations.
So the Greek church, in common with churches everywhere, went along with it, issuing an internal order to all ministers to keep churches closed and perform the Sunday and Eastern Easter services without a congregation. The Traditional Good Friday processions were all banned.
Church ministers obeyed the directive. But this one, priest of a church in Athens, delivered this straight from the heart sermon to an online-only congregation slamming the lockdown and the ban on meeting for worship.

Ventilators ‘killing people’
Meanwhile, in the Daily Mirror and at more length in the Daily Mail, a Californian doctor, Cameron Kyle-Sidell, says that ventilators, rather than helping to heal Covid-19 patients, are killing them. Only one third survive being on a ventilator. Just give them oxygen in one of those CPAP masks like the ones being made by Mercedes Formula 1, he says. Don’t expect the medical establishment to change its treatment patterns any time soon …

Meanwhile, another doctor from US, one Dr Erickson, has filmed this damning video showing the lockdown strategy is not ‘led by the science’ as ministers here like to claim.

Softening us up for more lockdown
Another 684 hospital patients are announced today to have died from or with Covid-19. That takes out UK total to 19,506. It will top 20,000 over the weekend. But these figures, while still above the daily death-toll of unborn children in the UK from abortion, are not rising any more.
I must just add that the UK Covid-19 daily deaths are not the true daily tally, they can include deaths from days, even weeks earlier. Furthermore, that Off-Guardian article above shows the mere mention of Covid-19 anywhere on a death certificate adds the death into the Covid-19 stats. For example: Patient with chronic coronary disease dies from heart failure while being treated for Covid-19 (possibly on one of those deadly ventilators): Covid-19 death.
Project Fear prepares us for more Lockdown against nebulous Second Wave
But just as we thought the end was in sight, we have that Professor Chris Whitty popping up in the last few days warning of a nebulous ‘Second Peak’ and that the lockdown might have to stay for weeks. Even if it doesn’t, it will be ‘social distancing’ and a ‘new normal.’ It is yet more Covid-19 Project Fear. If the people are to continue under house arrest, they must be made to feel afraid. Covid-19 is the enemy. Your neighbour, even your son or daughter, might be harbouring the enemy!
The BBC dutifully ran a piece on the ‘second wave’ on the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido where quite liberal measures were relaxed further a few weeks ago and cases are now rising again. Not that the liberalisation helps Hokkaido much. The people rely on tourism for their income.
As does my part of West Wales, as it happens. Incidentally, if Chris Whitty, Prof Neil Ferguson or that nice Health Minister Nadine Dorries MP thinks we are all going to stay indoors for eighteen months until their vaccine has been tested and they can ‘safely’ let us out, they are in dream-world.
The good news is that more people are getting out, aware that sunlight tops up your Vitamin D, which is great for your immune system. For the same reason secure some 200mg Vitamin C tablets and some Zinc tablets from Wilko this weekend. Lastly, get your trainers on and start running. Half-an-hour’s cardio-vascular exercise a day really builds your immune system and your general fitness.

And I shall leave you with a question. How can NHS workers find the time to make all those videos of whole cohorts of them dancing in corridors. You know, with the crisis of being overwhelmed with patients and all?

Professor Neil Ferguson models vaccines at Imperial College
Yesterday, the UK Government continued its unjust and irrational shutdown of major sectors of the economy and, incidentally, of large areas of the NHS. They intensified Covid-19 Project Fear. Why does the UK persist with a policy which the rest of Europe is now abandoning?
Social distancing ‘indefinitely’
A comment from the false prophet whose biased modelling spooked the Government into starting the lockdown gives us a clue. According to the BBC, Professor Neil Ferguson of Imperial College said we should expect a “significant level” of social distancing “indefinitely”. It would continue until a vaccine for Covid-19 is rolling off the production line. And that could be later this year, or maybe not until 2021.
Dr Ferguson went on: “And I should say, it’s not going to be going back to normal. We will have to maintain some level of social distancing, a significant level of social distancing, probably indefinitely until we have a vaccine available.”
Health Minister Nadine Dorries (@NadineDorries) tweeted last night: ‘Journalists should stop asking about an ‘exit strategy.’ There is only one way we can ‘exit’ full lockdown and that is when we have a vaccine. Until then, we need to find ways we can adapt society and strike a balance between the health of the nation and our economy. #COVID19’
Incidentally, Nadine Dorries is supposed to hold the brief for mental health and suicide prevention. Only this morning says the BBC the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were warning how stressful the lockdown is on mental health.
Vaccines save lives
Now, before you dismiss this article as yet another anti-vaccine tirade, let me make my position clear. I have evidence that vaccines save lives. Years ago, we used to lose young lambs every year on the farm. Just as they were starting to put on weight from the spring grass, they would keel over and die. It was always the best ones, the biggest.
What was going on? What was killing them? When I shared the problem with a neighbouring sheep farmer, he told me it was most likely pasteurellosis pneumonia or a clostridial disease such as pulpy kidney picked up with the spring grass. And what was the answer? Heptavac, he said. As the name suggests, the solution contains seven vaccines in one dose.
That very day, I started a vaccination programme for the whole flock. Subsequently, we vaccinate all new lambs and give the ewes a booster just before lambing, which they pass on in colostrum to the lamb before the lambs receive their own dose of Heptavac. The result? No more dead lambs. Vaccination works. World-wide, the return is said to be $44 dollars of productivity for every $1 spent on vaccines as people stay alive for longer.
Ferguson is vaccine modeller
But compulsory vaccination is another matter entirely. We also need to remember vaccination, particularly on a large human scale, makes pharmaceutical companies a lot of money. The vaccine market is worth more than $35 billion today, according to AB Bernstein. Four big players account for about 85% of the market — British drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline, French pharmaceutical company Sanofi, and U.S.-based Merck and Pfizer.
So is Professor Ferguson a mere dispassionate observer of human vaccines and vaccination programmes just like you and me?
The VIMC looks at ‘the impact of vaccination programmes worldwide’. It’s data helps ‘inform potential future investments and vaccine scale-up opportunities’.
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
Imperial College London – taken from a page on which they advertise their ‘Master of Public Health (MPH) course.
Now who is the world’s biggest vaccine enthusiast? Step forward Bill Gates, late of Microsoft, now putting all his energy into vaccination programmes.
So it comes as no surprise, as this breakdown shows, to find the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have given Imperial College $184,872,226.99 (yes, nearly $185m) from 2006 to 2018. Only Wellcome Trust has given Imperial College more down the years.
If we narrow the money trail down only to Imperial College’s VIMC, its ‘About us’ page reveals ‘The Consortium is funded by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the data generated by the Consortium will support the evaluation of the two organisations’ existing vaccination programmes, and inform potential future investments and vaccine scale-up opportunities.’ There are those ‘scale-up opportunities’ again.

Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance
Now we have an appearance of ‘Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance’. GAVI (Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation) apparently started up twenty years ago at the World Economic Forum with a $750m donation from Bill Gates. Bill and Melinda were looking at the time at projects in which to invest. The year 2000 Gavi donation started the Gates’ passion for vaccines. Today, Gavi claims to have vaccinated half the world’s children.
However, although Gavi boasts partners such as Unicef, the World Health Organisation (WHO), the World Bank, vaccine manufacturers (what a surprise) and donor country governments, its biggest contributor is now the UK Government, providing 23.44% of its income as against a mere 19.66% from Bill & Melinda.
This 2015 webpage from Gavi reveals their CEO, Dr Seth Berkley, seeking to ‘raise billions of dollars to ensure Gavi Is fully funded between 2016 and 2020’.
ID2020
Here is where it all becomes somewhat creepy. Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, is a founding partner of ID2020. This body ‘supports digital identity programs’. It claims ‘The Need for Good Digital ID is Universal’. The ID2020 ‘digital identity’ webpage even tries to enrol human rights as it tries to expand digital ID. ‘The ability to prove who you are is a fundamental and universal human right’, it says. Meanwhile, its manifesto begins by stating ‘identity is a human right and that individuals must have “ownership” over their own identity.’

Other ‘Founding Partners’ of ID2020 include Microsoft and the Rockefeller Foundation. Gavi’s Dr. Seth Berkley sits on the Executive Board of ID2020.
Why? It is because, as the Biometric Update website reveals, immunization can be ‘leveraged’ as ‘an opportunity to establish digital identity’. A pilot programme in Bangladesh ‘was unveiled by ID2020 in partnership with the Bangladesh Government’s Access to Information (a2i) Program, the Directorate General of Health Services, and Gavi.’
Biometric Update go on, helpfully, to explain: ‘Digital identity is a computerized record of who a person is, stored in a registry. It is used, in this case, to keep track of who has received vaccination.’ Gavi want ‘to use biometrics to improve vaccine coverage in developing nations.’
It is not just in developing nations that ID2020 biometrics will be useful to the authorities. In the city of Austin, Texas, we read how homeless people will be ’empowered’ with ‘their own’ identity data. How good is that?
Rapid Vac
In September 2017, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation together with the Wellcome Trust and the governments of Norway and India launched The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Pronounce it as ‘Seppy’.
The CEPI website, ‘New vaccines for a safer world’, says CEPI is ‘a global alliance financing and coordinating the development of vaccines against emerging infectious diseases.’ It has headquarters in Oslo. Its website lists its ‘investers and partners’ who include the UK and the EU. Charlotte Watts, Chief Scientific Adviser to the UK Department for International Development sits on the CEPI board as does Jeremy Farrar of Wellcome Trust and Peter Piot of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. LSH&TM also provides CEPI’s Scientific Advisory Committee with Dr John Edmunds and Dr Peter Smith.
Charlotte Watts, Jeremy Farrar and John Edmunds also sit on the UK Government’s Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) as does Neil Ferguson. So don’t expect SAGE to come out strongly for ‘herd immunity’ as a preferred policy.
Professor Robin Shattock develops vaccines at Imperial College
CEPI is, as you will already have guessed, awash with money. In December 2018 it gave $8.4m to Imperial College London as this IC webpage shows to develop a rapid vaccine against new unknown pathogens, ‘Disease X’. It says: ‘Through this partnership, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and Imperial aims to develop vaccines against new and unknown pathogens within 16 weeks from identification of antigen to product release for clinical trials.’ It is the latter stage which takes the time.
Professor Robin Shattock is the Head of Mucosal Infection and Immunity within the Department of Medicine at Imperial College London. He said ‘Vaccines are needed more than ever—essential to outbreak response, biosecurity, and the ever-present threat of a Disease X scenario.’ Professor Robin Shattock is a colleague of Professor Neil Ferguson. Professor Shattock develops the vaccines. Professor Ferguson models their impact. Both are funded by Gavi and Bill & Melinda Gates.

So why was Dr Neil Ferguson saying social distancing, for which read a version of lockdown, must stay until there is a vaccine? The answer lies in an interview Bill Gates gave on 24th March reported on the Off-Guardian website. In it:
‘Bill Gates outlined that, despite the comparatively small threat of Coronavirus, he and his colleagues “don’t want a lot of recovered people” who have acquired natural immunity. They instead are hoping we become reliant on vaccines and anti-viral medication.’
On the population developing their own immunity, Mr Gates said: ‘We don’t want to have a lot of recovered people […] To be clear, we’re trying – through the shut-down in the United States – to not get to one percent of the population infected.’
It is exactly the same approach as that of Neil Ferguson. Both want to ensure that as few of us as possible develop immunity, so as to maintain the market for the vaccine, when it eventually arrives.
Now we understand why Professor Ferguson had to produce a mathematical model, with the ludicrous half-a-million deaths, designed to scare the politicians away from Boris Johnson’s entirely sensible initial response, built on keeping calm, carrying on, isolating the vulnerable, taking health precautions and allowing ‘herd immunity’ to build up. It was nothing to do with public health. It was all about money. Nor did Professor Ferguson at any stage declare his conflict of interest. And make no mistake, this profile of a member of his Imperial College team confirms his Gavi funding and shows how deeply Neil Ferguson is embedded in the vaccine industry.
This may also account for the slow roll-out of antibody tests. If those show Covid-19 antibodies in half the population it really is game over for the vaccine.
Digital immunity proof
Off-Guardian says: ‘Shockingly, Gates also suggests people be made to have a digital ID showing their vaccination status, and that people without this “digital immunity proof” would not be allowed to travel. Such an approach would mean very big money for vaccine producers.’
So now the link to ID2020 and biometric data comes closer to home. Mr Gates said: ‘Eventually what we’ll have to have is certificates of who’s a recovered person, who’s a vaccinated person […] Because you don’t want people moving around the world where you’ll have some countries that won’t have it under control, sadly. You don’t want to completely block off the ability for people to go there and come back and move around. So eventually there will be this digital immunity proof that will help facilitate the global reopening up.’

Dr Neil Ferguson has been exposed already as a false prophet. Now we know what is driving him. And the Government have bought it hook, line and sinker.
Bear in mind also how the UK Government has shown from its funding programmes how wedded it is in any case to vaccine programmes.

Note we say people should take obvious health precautions, and those at risk can remain in isolation. But the general economy must now return to normal, if it is not already too late.
In particular, ask your MP to ask the Government to confirm Professor Neil Ferguson works for the vaccine industry, ask them why he has never disclosed that conflict of interest and demand getting us all back to work must not depend on some vaccine.
I said to my MP: ‘I am shocked by the comments from Nadine Dorries and Professor Neil Ferguson that your constituents have to wait for a vaccine against Covid-19 before we can all return to work.
‘That is an unreasonable and unjust demand. And may I ask you to ask the Government to what extent Professor Ferguson has disclosed his financial links to the vaccine industry?’

The nations, particularly in Europe and the US, are gripped by fear. Furthermore, the entire world is heading for a recession which will make 2008 look like a tea-party. Our leaders, supposedly men of intelligence, are rushing us into a global recession not because of a deadly virus, but out of unreasoning fear of a fairly average one. We need to pray against the fear. If it does not stop now, we shall all suffer, and for no good reason at all.

Jeremiah the prophet wrote this:

But in that case, the Babylonians really were coming. Here, what do we have? A coronavirus, Covid-19, which causes albeit serious flu-like symptoms but is not even as easy to catch as the flu, which Public Health England estimates kills an average of 17,000 people every year. And world leaders are spreading fear about Covid-19 like, well, like a virus. There is even advice from the Prime Minister for pregnant women to hide away. UK medical professional bodies say pregnant women, and young women in general, are not high-risk for Covid-19.
Church: Set an example!
I am going to urge some perspective and an end to the fear over Covid-19. Yes, we do need to wash our hands thoroughly, stay home if we are sick and protect the elderly and those with underlying health conditions. But we also need to stay kind and stay focussed. Political panic will bring dire effects many times worse than the virus itself. But first, I’ll urge the Church to set an example.
Isa 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
But what are we doing instead of trusting the Lord Yehovah? Even now, woke elbow-bumping from welcome teams is creeping in instead of handshakes, the ‘peace’ is being dispensed with and those churches which dispense communion wine in chalices are keeping the fortified spiritual drink in its bottle. Firstly, no virus can live in it. Secondly, the Bible says:
1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
We do not behave like this during the annual flu epidemic. We did not do it during Swine Flu a mere eleven years ago. So what is going on?
I’m going to argue the panic stems from the politics of anxiety coupled with modern risk-aversion. And the Church of Jesus Christ should beware these things of the world:
2Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
French close cafes
Eiffel Tower – hundreds will lose their jobs.
In France, the prime minister announced the closure of cafes, restaurants and all public places “non essential” to public life, including cinemas and discos, from midnight on Saturday . Edouard Philippe said: “We must absolutely limit movement, meetings and contacts.” He allowed food shops, tobacconists, banks and public transport to remain open.
The Guardian also reports: ‘Authorities have banned gatherings of more than 100 people and shut down attractions including the Eiffel Tower, the palace of Versailles, the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay.’ In the Paris region, there will be no Sunday church services.
Meanwhile, ‘the health minister, Olivier Véran, said the evolution and spread of the virus was “rapid and real”, but added that about 98% of those who test positive for the virus do recover.’
Hang on? 98% of those who test positive recover? How long are they ill for? For about a week. FullFact reports: ‘According to the WHO, current evidence on the new coronavirus suggests 15% of all illnesses are severe infections, requiring oxygen, and 5% are critical infections requiring ventilation. These levels are “higher than what is observed for influenza infection”.’
But in the main, patients do not require hospital treatment. Our own health minister, Nadine Dorries, reported feeling ‘pretty rubbish’. That was it. Her mother caught the virus from her and is now fighting it, according to news reports.
‘Non-essential’
So because a few thousand people are going to feel ‘pretty rubbish’ for a week, and a few hundred will need oxygen and a third of those will need ventilation, France has shut down its entire hospitality industry as ‘non essential’. Well, excuse me, but those employed in it and their families might regard their incomes as rather essential to their daily lives. Above all, the owners of the businesses still have to pay their rent and local taxes and food for their own tables even when their establishments are shut. M Phillippe’s diktat will cause real, and above all unnecessary, financial pain.
The prophet Isaiah warned:
Isa 19:16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
France is afraid and Italy and Spain are in lockdown and ‘like unto women’ not because of the shaking of the hand of the Lord, but because of a really bad dose of flu. Nike has closed all its US, European and Antipodean stores. Berlin has closed its bars and brothels. (I didn’t know that about Berlin either.) The US has stopped flights from Europe. Coronavirus is not the judgment of God. But the reaction to it could be.
Italy and South Korea
We should just say a word about Italy, where the death rate from Covid-19 appears to be high. At this time of writing they had 2,158 deaths from 27,980 cases.
In contrast, South Korea, with 8,320 cases, had experienced only 81 fatalities. CNN explains that South Korea does far more testing for Covid-19 than Italy. Also, the age profile of those with the disease is much lower. South Korea Italy has an ageing population compared to South Korea. In Italy, 90% of deaths have occurred in those 70 or older.
The BBC reports that South Korea has concentrated on testing and treating in hospital only those seriously ill: Yes, they have closed schools, which is unnecessary, as we explain below. However: ‘The preventative measures being taken in South Korea have so far involved no lockdowns, no roadblocks and no restriction on movement. Trace, test and treat’.
UK hospitality sector ‘teetering’
Last night the Prime Minister advised people to stop non-essential contact with others, work from home where they can and ‘avoid places like pubs, clubs and theatres.’

Significantly, because the Government has merely advised us not to go out, rather than actually closing their premises by law, venues cannot even claim on their insurance. Even if they could, that merely shifts the burden somewhere else in the economy. Better not to have incurred the loss in the first place.
Elsewhere, the BBC reportsthe UK hospitality sector is already ‘teetering on the brink’:
‘Mark Cotman is the group operations director at York House hotel in Eastbourne, and said his bookings are down 60% and he expects them to get worse. “We’ve got the money to carry on for maybe two or three months, and then we’re out of money. Then what do we do about paying staff, paying VAT, paying the veg man, the butcher?…We will run out of money”, Mr Cotman said.
All the treasury has offered is an ‘extension of business rate relief’ and ‘help’ from HMRC.
Mr Cotman went on: ‘The larger businesses like ours have received no assistance in the budget. We’ve been offered a facility of maybe applying for a loan but of course that’s got to be paid back. If we’re not taking any money, how can we pay the loan back?’
Panic attack
In the UK, panic and heartlessness have gripped the whole population. Ex-MP Luciana Berger observed a man with a trolley full of a store’s last remaining pasta refusing to give an old lady just one packet. People are stock-piling toilet rolls and flour. Make sense of that.
Eccl 9:3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
According to the Metro, Doctor Abdu Sharkawy, an expert in Infectious Diseases from Toronto University, wrote on Facebook: ‘I am not scared of Covid-19. What I am scared about is the loss of reason and wave of fear that has induced the masses of society into a spellbinding spiral of panic, stockpiling obscene quantities of anything that could fill a bomb shelter adequately in a post apocalyptic world.’
London deserted, sport abandoned
The Daily Express reports: ‘London deserted: UK capital becomes GHOST TOWN as workers flee over coronavirus. LONDON’S usually bustling streets, stations and tourist attractions were almost entirely deserted today as workers and visitors abandoned the capital over coronavirus fears.’
The Football League and Six-Nations rugby have shut down, the London Marathon stands abandoned until the autumn, Formula One will run, if at all, behind closed doors and sporting events all over the world are cancelled for fear of catching the flu.
Imagine the economic impact of all that.
Elderly and infirm
Virtually all those who have died, around 2% of those infected, have been the elderly, or people with pre-existing cardio-vascular problems, high blood pressure, diabetes or cancer. StatNews reports:
‘Overall, China CDC found, 2.3% of confirmed cases died. But the fatality rate was 14.8% in people 80 or older, likely reflecting the presence of other diseases, a weaker immune system, or simply worse overall health. By contrast, the fatality rate was 1.3% in 50 somethings, 0.4% in 40 somethings, and 0.2% in people 10 to 39.’ In under 10’s it was zero.
Men are slightly more likely to catch the virus than women (51% to 49%) but Netnewsledger says men are 50% more likely than women subsequently to die from it. It appears male and female immune systems work differently. Women naturally fight infections like coronavirus better than men.
This might explain why women just get colds while men suffer the flu. That gender imbalance, a source of amusement to some ladies, could be more than a matter of supposed male weakness.
Immune system
In all seriousness, the world is panicking, with stock markets plunging and sporting events being cancelled, over a bad dose of flu.
One could argue Covid 19 is a new disease, and the world population is currently without the antibodies we build up against flu. There will eventually, perhaps within a year, be a vaccine, but until then, we are on our own, so to speak. Even though Covid-19 is less infectious than flu, more people could catch it until the population builds up ‘herd immunity’. (See below!)
Although in one sense we are not alone. Thank God he created us in his wisdom with an immune system to fight disease:
Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Elderly to Self-islolate
Health Secretary Rt Hon Matt Hancock has decisions to make. We must pray for wisdom to avert economic disaster.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock has told the BBC that Britons ‘over the age of 70 will be told “within the coming weeks” to stay at home for an extended period to shield them from coronavirus.’ The advice, when it does come into force, could last ‘a very long time’.
‘Wartime like measures will ask car makers to produce medical equipment and turn hotels into hospitals, he said. “Every single person in this country is going to be affected,” he warned.’
‘Over-70s and younger people with certain health conditions will need to remain at home and have groceries and vital medication delivered, the health secretary said.’
Meanwhile, the Scottish government would ask the elderly not to isolate, but instead ‘ask them to reduce social contact’.
‘Jeane Freeman, Mr Hancock’s counterpart in Scotland, said: “We don’t want people who are elderly to be stuck in their homes alone not contacting anyone, with their families not able to be in touch with them and to help them. What we’re saying to them is, reduce your contact”.’
And that is all we need to do. Just that simple measure coupled with basic hygiene.
Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Don’t close schools!
The evidence from China is that teenagers and children were minutely represented in the figures, among cases and even less in fatalities. The few children who have fallen sick appear to have caught the virus from adults, not from other children. Children are not transmitters. There is absolutely no need to close schools.
In fact, as the children will then go to be looked after by grandparents, so increasing social interaction with the elderly, there is every good reason not to shut schools. And that is on top of the impact on the economy of disrupting the working patterns of parents. Families today need two incomes to make ends meet, in stark contrast from two generations ago. But that is another subject.
Furthermore, if a teacher, or anyone for that matter, feels unwell, just stop at home. ‘Self-isolate’. Yes, quite a few of us will fall ill if the government simply keeps the economic show on the road, but in the vast majority of cases we shall get better soon. Moreover, the economy will not in that event itself catch Covid-19, which frankly means a global slump which will take years to recover from and which will affect us all:
Jer 29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
SARS and Swine Flu
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said the Covid 19 pandemic is ‘the worst public health crisis for a generation’ and warned Britain that the worst of the crisis is still weeks away. I said in the Christian Voice March newsletter (Email us [our email address is on this page] with your land address for a free copy of the Christian Voice March Newsletter!) that if there are fewer then 10,000 UK cases by Mothering Sunday it will be by the grace of God and in answer to prayer.
But is Covid-19 really ‘the worst public health crisis for a generation’?
According to the Daily Telegraph (£) the H1N1 Swine Flu epidemic in 2009 killed 457 people across the UK. The outbreak cost a total of £1.24 billion: ‘£654 million preparing for a possible flu pandemic, and £587 million responding to the H1N1 outbreak’, including ‘£1.01 billion on drugs, among them antivirals, doses of vaccine and antibiotics.’ There were early forecasts that 65,000 people could die, so alarmism is nothing new. It is hard to find an accurate statistic, but over a million people were infected in the UK.
Around 20% of the world’s population eventually went down with H1N1. It could be argued H1N1 was far less lethal than Covid-19, but in the early stages, it was thought millions could die. Yet the global economy did not shut down. Countries were not in ‘lockdown’.
SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) infected 8,000 people and killed nearly 800 in an outbreak in Asia in 2003. There were only a few UK cases. Again, some people chose not to travel, as I report below, but they were not forbidden to.
Not a clever disease
To those who are certain Covid-19 has been orchestrated by the Antichrist to decimate the population, I say, ‘Look at the figures’. The disease decimates the elderly and those already placing a burden on the health service. That is not a very clever disease from a ‘health economics’ point of view. If your ambition is to destroy the world, you want a virus which attacks young people.
Or maybe start a war. The First World War was excellent at sending millions of economically-active young men to their deaths. The Second World War did an even better job of destroying whole communities and their industries and property.
However, that is without recruiting leaders to destroy their own countries from within. We urge prayer for our leaders to adopt ‘business as usual’, allow the people to make their own decisions as to whether to go to the pub or the match, to self-isolate if they feel poorly, and for those at highest risk to stay indoors. The economic damage will be bad enough just from doing little.
Self-inflicted economic damage
Pandemics cause enough economic damage on their own, as individuals change their behaviour, without governments adding fuel to the fire. Sharon Begley of Reuters estimated that the SARS epidemic cost the world GPD $33bn in 2003, as Asian travellers cut their plans. (That equates to 0.063% of world GDP based on 2003 population of 6.36 billion and GDP $8,300 per person.) The effects were proportionally greater in Asia.
World-wide, it is difficult to separate the impact of H1N1 (swine flu) from the effects of the 2008 recession. However, H1N1 cost South Korea an estimated 0.14% of its national GDP in 2009.
Ms Begley suggests in a future pandemic: ‘The majority of the economic losses would come not from sickness or death but from what the World Bank calls “efforts to avoid infection: reducing air travel … avoiding travel to infected destinations, and reducing consumption of services such as restaurant dining, tourism, mass transport, and nonessential retail shopping”.’
That was in a 2013 article and is exactly what we are seeing now, except it’s not consumer-driven but mandated by those in power. When politicians and those at the top of sporting bodies start panicking, the economic problems only escalate. Politics of anxiety coupled with risk-aversion translates into job losses for the man in the street. The possibility of people losing their jobs and their businesses does not, for some advisers, form part of the risk assessment.
Financial failure, even a world-wide slump, will arise not from actual sickness or death in the population but will be self-inflicted, or leader-inflicted, on the population.
Appropriate response
Darren Schulte, M.D., CEO of Apixio, a health analytics company, says this on StatNews:
‘What’s the appropriate response to Covid-19? I believe we should counsel individuals to continue going about their daily lives while taking proper and prudent precautions until we learn more about its long-term public health risks of this disease. We should try to balance the public health and safety concerns with disruptions in daily activities. Quarantining individuals who have been exposed to the virus or who have underlying health risks makes sense, as does adhering to prudent measures like staying at home if you feel sick, washing your hands regularly, covering your mouth when coughing and sneezing, and avoiding large social gatherings. All of these can attenuate the spread of the virus.
‘But we must be measured in our actions so we don’t end up causing more lasting harm than good as we try to protect ourselves and our communities from a new — and scary — infectious disease.’
Advisors at war
In a year’s time, leaders will have to answer to their populations. That is why they need wisdom and the fear of God, not fear of the virus. Godly fear puts everything into perspective.
The Daily Express reports the UK’s chief scientific adviser, Sir Patrick Vallance, was leading the side who advise interfering as little as possible, keeping things going while protecting the elderly and those at risk.
Sir Patrick hoped the Government’s current approach will create a ‘herd immunity’ to the disease. In practice that means allowing millions of us to become infected. But last night it appeared he had lost.
The other side advocate shutting our entire service economy down. As the Guardian explains here, last night the Prime Minister seemed to be going down that route. It risks putting off another spike of the disease until next autumn and winter. It also means economic catastrophe for the travel, hospitality and sport sectors and all the jobs dependent on those who work in those industries. The High Street, already under pressure, could be finished.
Furthermore, it is becoming clearer by the hour that Government advisers have done lots of medical models to see how the virus would spread in different scenarios. Sir Patrick Vallance told the Health and Social Care Committee as much this afternoon. But has anyone modelled the impact of the various measures on the economy? If they have, they don’t seem to be telling us.
The tourism sector alone is worth £250bn to the economy and gives work to 3.5 million people. The sports sector is ‘only’ worth £24bn, but holds nearly one million jobs. Remember how even Pharaoh could not see the damage his own decisions were doing to his land:
Exod 10:7 And Pharaoh’s servants said unto him, How long shall this man (Moses) be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?
Who benefits?
Sharon Begley observes that someone always makes money out of a crisis. It may be pharmaceutical companies from a vaccine, or suppliers of medical equipment in a pandemic.
Nevertheless, their profits will pale into insignificance if airlines, hotels and football clubs start turning to the banks.
Bankers are set to make billions from loans just to keep companies afloat. It would be too Machiavellian to suggest the head of Crédit Agricole has been urging Edouard Philippe to shut down the French hospitality industry, would it not?
It’s more subtle than that. He won’t be saying ‘Non’ to the idea, that’s for sure.
Turning to Prayer
The Bible says:
1Tim 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
We must pray for them to find that wisdom which has only one source:
Prov 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Pray for an end to anxiety, risk-aversion and sheer panic and for our national economy and world trade in general to return to normal, to everyone’s benefit.

Slide 27: Note above, Nairobi-based UHAI-EASHRI was listed as a donor of $2,323,769 in 2015/16 but a recipient of $3,497,086. A cool $1.1m went on their ‘6-25′ staff and office expenses. UHAI EASHRI, established by Ford Foundation in 2009, claims to be ‘Africa’s first indigenous activist fund for sex workers and sexual and gender minorities’. But it is entirely funded by the West, not just by Ford Foundation (US), but Sigrid Rausing Trust & Baring Fdn ( both UK), Astrea Lesbian Fdn, Tides Fdn, Arcus Fdn, Urgent Action Fund, Atlantic Philanthropies, Fdn for a Just Society (all US) and others. (‘UHAI’ is an acronym but also means ‘life’ in Swahili.)
Slide 28: In an article on Saturday 23rd November 2019, the Nation newspaper revealed ‘Kenya’s best and worst paying jobs’ It said: ‘foreign-backed NGOs employed a total of 1,345 staff and 270 of them earned more than Sh100,000 monthly, making the agencies a magnet for those seeking or wanting to change jobs.’ Nowhere is that more true than in Kenya’s immoral NGOs.
Slide 29: In January 2011, The European Union gave a 300,000 Euro grant to promote gay rights in Cameroon to a group of pro-gay CSO’s led by the ‘Association to Defend Homosexuals‘. Cameroon’s Foreign Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi summoned the head of the EU delegation in Cameroon to protest against the funding of groups that “violate the laws of Cameroon.” But the grant still went ahead.

It also received funding from Open Society Foundations, Astrea, Hivos, UHAI, Coalition of African Lesbians, Kenya National Commission for Human Rights, Kenya Human Rights Commission, Kelin Kenya, National Coalition of Human Rights Defenders (Kenya), and the International Commission of Jurists, Kenya Section.

Slide 36: Prof Matua was in Kampala in 2010 in February at a conference – again funded by the Ford Foundation – to oppose David Bahati’s Bill against promotion of LGBT. The Ford Foundation is just one of around twenty NGO’s giving money to Ugandan gay groups. But let’s get back to Arcus Foundation …

(2) Forums like the African Union and the Caribbean Union should state their rejection of immorality and foreign aid intended to corrupt public morality. (3) Make it clear at diplomatic levels that aid donors must respect traditional family values. (4) Bring in local laws to prevent promotion of evil.
46 Local laws need to be passed to prevent money intended to promote sodomy and abortion in Africa from reaching its targets. We suggest: (1) Make it illegal to corrupt public morality – in particular to promote LGBT or abortion. (2) Proscribe the foreign NGO’s involved and deny their representatives visas, (3) Require local recipient organisations to open their accounts to discover their income, (4) Seize foreign monies promoting immorality.

Ambassadors of eleven nations held a press conference to condemn the ICPD25 Nairobi Summit and UNFPA
A joint statement by eleven nations on the last day of the UNFPA Summit in Nairobi condemned UNFPA without mentioning the UN population agency by name.
The UN’s Fund for Population activities had hoped the jamboree would pass off without controversy. They wanted to counter ‘the push-back’ against homosexuality and abortion in the developing world. They would be disappointed.

Press conference
Firstly, the United States, flanked by ambassadors from Brazil, Belarus, Egypt, Haiti, Hungary, Libya, Poland, Senegal, St. Lucia, and Uganda, held a press conference on 14th November 2019.
The US Special Representative for Global Women’s Health, Valerie Huber read a Statement. This reminded ‘both those gathered and those watching’ of the original aims of ICPD. The International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) was held in Cairo in 1994. Its stated objectives and actions seem dated now. They saw ‘critical challenges and interrelationships between population and sustained economic growth’. They placed it ‘in the context of sustainable development.’
Before the Statement, the Press Conference heard from Kenyan MPs Hon Chris Wamalwa, and Hon Jennifer Shamalla. Although Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy William Rutu steered clear of abortion and homosexuality when opening and closing the Summit respectively, these two MPs gave the press corps both barrels.
Parallel Conference
Secondly, Kenya Christian Professionals organised their own conference and also issued a statement. International ambassadors also addressed one session.
According to C-Fam, ‘The parallel conference included a high-level intergovernmental event with government representatives of the United States, Hungary, Poland, Brazil, Kenya and the Holy See Nuncio. They affirmed their governments commitment to policy that foster strong families and protects unborn life and criticized UNFPA for going beyond the mandate established at the ICPD 25 years ago.
The concern of the Eleven was that UNFPA and the Scandinavian nations behind the 2019 Nairobi Summit were taking the 1994 Cairo Declaration too far.
A pre-summit document from UNFPA spoke of an ‘ambition’. This was ‘how countries can move towards universal access to sexual and reproductive health and rights’. That would be ‘an essential part of universal health coverage’.
‘Sexual rights’ is shorthand for liberalising laws against homosexuality, while ‘reproductive rights’ refers to abortion.
1994 Cairo Declaration
Helpfully, UNFPA itself carries the original 1994 Cairo Declaration on its website. There are three mentions of ‘reproductive health’. All are in the context of family planning. But national governments must respect ‘their own national and cultural identity, values and tradition’.
There is no mention of ‘reproductive rights’, ‘sexual health’ or ‘sexual rights’ in the Cairo Declaration at all. Consequently there is no ‘reproductive right’ to abortion’. However the Declaration was not explicitly pro-life. It called upon national Governments ‘to reduce the need for abortion by providing universal access to family planning information and services.’
Contraception increases abortion
The Declaration blithely assumes that ‘access to family planning information and services’ reduces ‘the need for abortion’. However, that is simply not true.
Eighteen years before Cairo, British abortionist Dr Judith Bury, of Brook Advisory Centres, let the cat out of the bag. In 1981 she said “…women…have come to request [abortions] when contraception fails. There is overwhelming evidence that, contrary to what you might expect, the provision of contraception leads to an increase in the abortion rate.”
Comprehensive Sexuality Education
The Nairobi Summit was also promoting what is termed ‘Comprehensive Sexuality Education’ or CSE. This assault on the innocence of children figures nowhere in the Cairo Declaration.
Indeed, education in the Declaration had one single purpose. It was set solely in the context of increasing the wellbeing of women and girls. It would do that by bettering their health-care and developing their opportunities. Yes, it spoke of the feminist mantra of ‘women’s empowerment’. But ‘sex education’ of any kind was not there.
ICPD Program of Action
The UNFPA draw heavily on the ICPD Program of Action. This document, parallel to the Cairo Declaration, runs to 296 pages. It does contain references to ‘reproductive rights’ but these are nowhere defined, let alone to include a supposed ‘right’ to abortion. Indeed, the Government of Honduras entered a reservation in the document to clarify matters. It said the terms “‘reproductive rights’ and ‘sexual rights'” … “do not include ‘abortion’ or ‘termination of pregnancy’.”
There is no reference to ‘legalisation of abortion’ or ‘legal abortion’. Indeed, the Programme states:
‘7.24 Governments should take appropriate steps to help women avoid abortion, which in no case should be promoted as a method of family planning, and in all cases provide for the humane treatment and counselling of women who have had recourse to abortion.’
Consensus
The Program of Action was passed by consensus. It was then ‘endorsed by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly in its resolution 49/128 of December 19, 1994.’ ‘Consensus’ is important in interantional law. If enough nations agree on something it begins to have a certain standing.
Therefore the 2019 Statement of the Eleven nations clarifies this point. ‘UN Member States were able to join consensus because the ICPD Program of Action preamble paragraph 1.15 made clear that the conference did not create any new international human rights, and that “the implementation of the recommendations contained in the Programme of Action is the sovereign right of each country, consistent with national laws and development priorities, with full respect for the various religious and ethical values and cultural backgrounds of its people, and in conformity with universally recognized international human rights”.’
Ambiguous terms
When it came to the ‘rights’ element in the context of ‘consensus’ the Eleven did not hold back. ‘We are also concerned about the content of some of the key priorities of this Summit. We do not support references in international documents to ambiguous terms and expressions, such as sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), which do not enjoy international consensus, nor contemplates the reservations and caveats incorporated into the Cairo outcome.
‘In addition, the use of the term SRHR may be used to actively promote practices like abortion. There is no international right to abortion; in fact, international law clearly states that “[e]veryone has the right to life” (e.g. Article 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights). ‘
No transparency
The 2019 Statement also condemned the Nairobi Summit for lack of transparency and inclusiveness. Cairo ‘was negotiated and implemented with and by the entire UN General Assembly membership’. In contrast, ‘only a small handful of governments were consulted on the planning and modalities of the 2019 Nairobi Summit’. (Mostly it was the Scandinavians.)
It follows, ‘outcomes from this summit are not intergovernmentally negotiated, nor are they the result of a consensus process. As a result, they should not be considered normative, nor should they appear in future documents as intergovernmentally-agreed language.’
Pro-family and pro-life nations will no doubt be on the alert for any sign of UNFPA language creeping in international documents. UNFPA will never bring its works to the light of the full UN. The Statement of the Eleven is clear. Without such universal acceptance, ‘no ICPD follow-on document has consensual weight or standing amongst governments.’
The value of Trump
It is worth saying that such a statement would never have been possible if Hilary Clinton had been elected President of the United States in 2016, the Statement of the Eleven would never have happened. It is only because of the staunch pro-life stand of the Trump administration that the 2019 Nairobi Summit was so roundly condemned.
So Almighty God plays a long game, and we should praise his name for all he did during the Summit. We were able to give out around 2,000 pro-life leaflets peacefully to delegates queuing for the Summit. Most were distributed on the opening day, Tuesday. And when we do the little things, we can leave it to the Lord to work miracles. The Statement of the Eleven is one of those things only God can organise.
Just remember, there is all to pray for as the US elections 2020 come ever closer.
