Across Britain, schools, hospitals, and even sports bodies are quietly being seduced by a group of networks promoting transgenderism.

Behind the slogans of “inclusion” and “diversity” lies a movement that has infiltrated the public sector, rewriting long-held definitions of truth, biology, and morality. From the NHS to the classroom, no institution seems untouched by its influence.

This movement has gained legitimacy through official partnerships, public funding, and a network of advocacy groups presenting themselves as experts in gender identity. One of the most prominent among them is Telegraph, a charity that has become a trusted adviser to government departments, councils, and national charities.

Many Christian educators, doctors, and parents have found themselves pressured to affirm ideas that conflict with both science and Scripture.

A Teacher’s Encounter With the New Orthodoxy

As reported on the Telegraph: When South London PE teacher Harriet saw a “Trans Inclusion in Sport” webinar promoted by England Athletics, she expected practical advice about supporting pupils sensitively and safely.

A teenage girl on her team had recently begun identifying as male, and Harriet wanted to ensure she could protect the pupil’s wellbeing while maintaining fairness in sport.

But the session left her alarmed. “I went in open-minded,” she explained, “but came away feeling that it was short on facts and long on ideology.” The training insisted that the physical advantage of male bodies was “overstated,” and that questioning such claims amounted to harm.

Participants were told that “free speech against trans people” was not acceptable, a chilling reminder of how debate is being replaced by dogma. When Harriet privately asked how to keep her female student safe in boys’ teams, the presenter accused her of “assuming gender stereotypes.”

After years of teaching both boys and girls, Ms.Harriet knew the physical realities could not be ignored. But under this new orthodoxy, truth no longer matters; affirmation has become the ultimate virtue.

The Money Behind the Movement

The rapid rise of Gendered Intelligence has been fuelled by money, lots of it. The organisation, which only gained charity status in 2019, now commands up to £2,215 for a single-day training course. In 2023–24 alone, its training sessions generated more than £250,000 in revenue, a sharp increase from previous years.

Public grants have also poured in. The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, and the Sainsbury family’s Three Guineas Trust have each contributed hundreds of thousands of pounds. (We recognise these names as promoting other anti-Christian activist NGOs.) By 2024, Gendered Intelligence’s annual income had more than doubled since 2019, with substantial sums coming directly from government contracts.

At a time when ordinary Britons struggle with the cost of living, taxpayers are unknowingly funding an ideology that undermines science and faith. While the NHS waits grow longer, funds are quietly diverted into “diversity” projects that prioritise ideology over patient care.

The question must be asked: how did we get to a point where those who question this spending are branded as bigots, while those profiting from confusion are rewarded as heroes?

The NHS and the Affirmation Agenda

Gendered Intelligence’s role within the NHS has sparked outrage among medical professionals. Former clinicians from the Tavistock Gender Identity Development Service have accused the charity of promoting an “affirmation-only” model, encouraging young patients to transition without due psychological assessment or caution.

This approach can easily lock vulnerable children into life-altering medical interventions. Rather than helping them explore the roots of their distress, activists have turned the NHS into a conveyor belt of affirmation.

The Cass Review’s findings earlier this year confirmed that many such practices were unsafe, prompting the closure of the Tavistock clinic.

Despite this, Gendered Intelligence continues to present itself as an expert advisor on “best practice.” The irony is painful: the very ideology that has harmed children’s mental health now claims to be their saviour.

But ‘Gendered Intelligence’ makes no secret of its intentions. Its website says: ‘Gendered Intelligence is a trans-led and trans-involving charity that works to increase understandings of gender diversity and improve the lives of trans people.’ That’s clear enough. It’s not impartial, it’s a trans-promoting mob of partisan activists.

Its ‘Meet the Team’ page has everyone referred to by first name (or invented first name) only, as in ‘trustees’: ‘Charlie’, ‘James’, ‘Skip’ and ‘Stone’.

The Charity Commission website along with Companies House identifies two of them as Charlie Kye and James Ramsay William Osborne. The latter is also a trustee and director of ‘STAR: Student Action for Refugees’ (‘Refugees Welcome Here’) and has been a director of a climate change outfit. It would no surprise to find people adopting a fairly hard-left anti-Christian BBC-style stance all through ‘Gendered Intelligence’.

Christians and parents alike must stand watch. When truth is replaced by affirmation and care replaced by compliance, we must speak boldly for the innocent.

The Ideology Enters Sport

From classrooms to locker rooms, the reach of this movement has been astonishing. Gendered Intelligence has advised the England and Wales Cricket Board, World Rugby, and British Gymnastics — all in the name of inclusion. But inclusion for whom?

As campaigners like Sex Matters director Fiona McAnena have warned, the organisation’s fingerprints are “all over sports policies” that undermine women’s safety. Even Sport England reportedly paid the charity to produce guidance that encouraged mixed changing facilities, guidance that ignored women’s concerns altogether.

Under this guidance, biological males identifying as women are permitted in female categories, changing rooms, and competitions. The cost to fairness, privacy, and security is staggering. Once again, the rights of the majority have been sacrificed to appease a vocal minority.

In a nation once proud of defending women and children, we now risk institutionalising their erasure.

Girlguiding and the Loss of Safeguarding

Even Girlguiding, once a beacon of moral leadership, has fallen under activist sway. Gendered Intelligence helped draft its “trans inclusion” policy — a document now facing legal challenge from a concerned parent who claims her daughter’s safety was compromised.

The policy allows biological males identifying as girls to share sleeping quarters, bathrooms, and changing areas with young female members. Girlguiding’s leadership insists the rules are “lawful,” but legality is not the same as morality. Scripture reminds us that what is ‘lawful’ in the eyes of fallen man is not always right in the sight of God.

Such policies have created confusion and fear among parents, many of whom now question whether long-trusted organisations are safe spaces for their daughters. This is not progress — it is a moral regression cloaked in rainbow rhetoric.

In the name of equality, innocence is being surrendered. The Church must stand as a shield for those who cannot yet defend themselves.

The Silence of Our Institutions

While major public bodies are distancing themselves from Stonewall’s Diversity Champions Scheme, Gendered Intelligence has quietly stepped in to fill the void. With universities, councils, and broadcasters desperate to appear progressive, its influence has only grown stronger.

The BBC, Ofcom, and Channel 4 are among those eager to show their allegiance to “diversity and inclusion.” Yet what they truly display is moral cowardice — a refusal to defend truth when it becomes unpopular. The gospel of tolerance has replaced the Gospel of Christ.

Christian parents, teachers, and doctors now face increasing pressure to conform or stay silent. Those who hold to biblical truth about creation, gender, and family risk losing their jobs or facing public shame.

We must remember that light shines brightest in darkness. Silence is not an option when truth itself is under siege.

Nurses Expose Britain’s Transgender Moral Confusion

A group of nurses from County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust (CDDFT) have lodged an employment tribunal case for sexual discrimination and sexual harassment.

At Darlington Memorial Hospital, eight nurses have been hauled before an employment tribunal. This follows raising concerns about being forced to undress in front of a biological male colleague.

The nurses, including Bethany Hutchison, Lisa Lockey, and Karen Danson, complained that “Rose Henderson”, a man ‘identifying’ as a woman, was permitted to use the female changing rooms.

Instead of safeguarding the women’s privacy, NHS managers ordered “kindness training” for the complainants and warned them to “broaden their mindset” and “be more inclusive.”

Ludicrously, the NHS trust are claiming in court that ‘Rose’, whose real name is Tyler and who is built like a brick outhouse, is just like a ‘large woman’.

One nurse, a survivor of child sexual abuse, told the tribunal that seeing the male colleague half-dressed triggered flashbacks to her trauma. Others described distress, intimidation, and fear of disciplinary action merely for voicing concern.

To compound the outrage, the same man was reportedly chosen by NHS bosses to lead diversity and inclusion sessions for those who objected to sharing intimate spaces with him.

These nurses, now supported by the Christian Legal Centre, face not only an employment battle but possible misconduct probes by the Nursing and Midwifery Council after ideologically driven public complaints.

When “kindness” is used to enforce falsehood, and women are punished for defending truth and modesty, we see what the Apostle Paul called “the mystery of iniquity”.

Trans Lavatory Ban ‘Risks Breaking ECHR Rules’

The clash between Westminster and Strasbourg has emerged over proposed UK guidance that would prevent men claiming to be women from using female lavatories and changing rooms.

Council of Europe Human Rights Commissioner Michael O’Flaherty has written to MPs warning that such a move could breach the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). He claims that restricting access by “gender identity” rather than biological sex would infringe the right to privacy under Article 8, forcing trans-identified people to “out” themselves when accessing single-sex spaces.

In his letter, O’Flaherty—an Irish Catholic and long-time LGBT advocate—positioned himself as a moral authority over British law, implying that the UK must comply with Strasbourg’s interpretation of human rights.

His intervention follows the UK Supreme Court’s ruling earlier this year that “sex” in law means biological sex, not self-declared gender.

That landmark judgment paved the way for clearer guidance from the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) affirming that single-sex services and spaces may be reserved for women only.

O’Flaherty’s letter is another example of unelected European officials meddling in domestic affairs and promoting the ideology of gender self-identification under the guise of “human rights.” The move highlights just how deeply transgender ideology has penetrated European institutions, where “inclusion” often takes precedence over truth, privacy and safety.

It also raises serious questions about the democratic legitimacy of outside bodies attempting to override decisions made by Britain’s highest court.

The BBC has become the latest battleground in the growing cultural war over gender ideology.

The corporation now allows staff to work from home if they are “uncomfortable with its trans-toilet policy”, which permits biological men to use women’s lavatories and changing areas.

Instead of protecting the privacy and safety of women, the media house is enabling a confused system where “feelings” trump biological fact.

The Supreme Court has already ruled that “sex” in the Equality Act refers to biological reality, yet the BBC refuses to act until the Government issues further guidance.

By allowing staff to work from home rather than fixing the root problem, the BBC sends a clear message: gender ideology outweighs common sense. Female employees, instead of being protected, are pushed out of the workplace to avoid discomfort and potential risk.

Taxpayers fund this publicly owned organisation, yet it now fosters division and alienation within its ranks. Britain once led the world in fairness and order; now even lavatories have become ideological battlegrounds.

Workplaces Under Siege

The gender-neutral toilet agenda is creeping through offices, schools, hospitals, and corporations. Women who object risk accusations of “transphobia,” while managers hide behind “inclusion policies.”

Instead of uniting people, this ideology fractures trust and erodes respect. Workplaces once guided by professionalism now operate under fear of ideological reprimand.

The line between privacy and politics has been erased by policy-makers who value social experiments over employee welfare.

Men’s Prisons told to Offer Trans Inmates Make-up

As Britain celebrates its supposed progressiveness, the nation slides further into confusion. The latest absurdity? Men’s prisons have been told to provide make-up and beauty products for inmates who identify as women. Convicted criminals are now indulged with cosmetics in the name of “gender affirmation.” It would be comical if it were not tragic.

When the justice system panders to delusion, punishment loses its moral force. The same political class that ignores victims’ cries now caters to the vanity of offenders. Across the public sector, truth is treated as hate, and biological reality is treated as bigotry.

This is moral collapse on a continental scale. European bureaucrats, puffed up with self-importance, believe they have the authority to rewrite creation itself. And sadly, many churchmen echo them rather than oppose them.

The proud letters from one Irish Church of England bureaucrat lecturing MPs on “trans inclusion” only show how deep the rot has spread into the institutions once meant to uphold God’s Word.

Today, vileness is not only exalted, it is enshrined in policy.

Only One Side of the Trans “Debate” Silences Free Speech

There are rare glimmers of courage amid the fog of fear. Actress Keira Knightley recently stood her ground against online “trans activists” after questioning the extremes of gender ideology in the entertainment world. Her defiance provoked fury from those who demand absolute conformity, yet she did not yield. In doing so, she proved that integrity still has a place in public life — even if it comes at personal cost.

Contrast that courage with the silence of so many in power. Politicians, broadcasters, and bishops alike have chosen the path of least resistance. They bow to activists, ignore women’s safety, and call cowardice “compassion.”

The cultural elite, once devoted to reason, now genuflect before feelings. The result is a society at war with itself, unable to define a woman, unwilling to defend a child, and unashamed of moral confusion.

Christians must not follow suit. We are not called to appease error but to proclaim truth.

Love or Deception?

A “transgender” woman (a man) who tricked another man into believing he was a woman has been found guilty of sexual assault.

The biological XY bloke, who now goes by the name Ciara Watkin, from Thornaby, met his victim on Snapchat and pretended to be female, even claiming to be “on her period” to hide his true identity.

His victim later discovered the truth and told police he would never have consented if he had known. The jury found Watkin guilty after a short trial at Teesside Crown Court, and he must now sign the sex offenders register.

This case shows how easily people can hide behind the LGBTQ slogan of “inclusion” to deceive others. Society has been taught to “believe everyone’s truth”, even when that truth is built on lies. In this case, “gender identity” became a tool of manipulation. The same culture that demands silence in the name of love and kindness allowed a man to commit a grave offence without question.

When truth is replaced by feelings, sin finds a hiding place. What was once shameful is now celebrated as “brave”. Watkin’s deceit is not a mistake; it is a warning. If society refuses to recognise God’s created order of male and female, confusion and exploitation will follow.

From hospitals to prisons, from the arts to European bureaucracy, Britain is being forced to celebrate delusion and condemn truth. What began as “inclusion” has become coercion; what was once compassion has turned into tyranny of conscience.

Up in Scotland, a designer says she was ordered to leave a shop after complaining about a staff member’s “no terfs, no Tories” badge.

Rebekah Chapman, 33, said she was subjected to “intolerance and nasty slogans” after challenging the employee at Dundee’s Hobbycraft branch. She claimed the store’s manager sided with the staff member and told her to “read a biology textbook”. Hobbycraft have since apologised, but why did this happen in the first place?

We are in cultural darkness, yet the call remains:

Truth on Trial

In modern Britain, stating that men and women are different can cost you your job or reputation. The ideology of gender fluidity demands silence or surrender.

Public bodies like the BBC and NHS risk replacing biological fact with political fiction. Yet truth is not hateful. It is liberating.

The Christian call is not to mock, but to stand firm and speak truth in love — even when powerful institutions oppose it.

A Call to Courage

Christians must pray, speak, and act while there is still time. Every concession to gender ideology undermines creation order and endangers the most vulnerable.

Protecting women’s spaces and affirming biological reality is not discrimination; it is obedience to God’s design.

The Church must be a light in this darkness, showing compassion for those confused by gender ideology while refusing to bow before it. Britain’s future depends on rediscovering the courage to say what is true.

Avanti West Coast attempts to erase womanhood

In a recent move, Avanti West Coast introduced a scheme offering free period care products on its trains.

Notably, the announcement referred to recipients as “customers” and “people,” omitting any mention of “women” or “females,” according to the Telegraph.

This choice of language has sparked criticism, with some accusing the company of erasing the very group primarily affected by menstruation.

This trend isn’t isolated. The Welsh Parliament faced backlash for providing tampons in men’s toilets, aiming to accommodate “transgender” individuals. This is a “waste of taxpayer cash” and a “virtue-signalling” gesture.

The gender-neutral language

The push for gender-neutral terminology, while aiming for “inclusivity”, often leads to the unintended consequence of sidelining women. By avoiding specific references to “women” in contexts inherently tied to female biology, there’s a risk of diminishing the recognition of women’s unique experiences and needs.

For instance, the General Medical Council stocked tampons in men’s toilets to be “inclusive,” a move that some found perplexing and indicative of a broader trend of blurring gender distinctions .

The importance of upholding truth in compassion

While it’s essential to approach all individuals with love and compassion, it’s equally crucial to uphold truth.

The Christian faith teaches:
1 Corinthians 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.

In the context of gender and identity, this means recognising and affirming the biological realities that God has established.

Efforts to accommodate diverse identities should not come at the expense of denying fundamental truths. As believers, we’re called to speak the truth in love, ensuring that compassion doesn’t lead to compromise.

Moreso, institutions, especially those in the public sphere, have a responsibility to reflect and uphold the natural order as designed by God. By adopting policies that obscure or redefine gender distinctions, they risk leading society away from biblical truths.

The Bible states,
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Advocating for clarity and truth in public discourse

In light of these developments, it’s imperative for Christians to engage in public discourse, advocating for clarity and truth.

This involves respectfully challenging narratives that blur gender distinctions and promoting language that accurately represents God’s creation.

Aldi goes woke, puts children at risk

The UK branch of the Southern German supermarket chain, Aldi, known to many families through the harmless antics of Kevin the Carrot, is irresponsibly sending its customers’ children down the ‘trans’ pathway, forgetting its foundation in family values.

In a shocking act of moral capitulation, Aldi has gone “woke,” publishing a two-page spread in their 1st June 2025 promotion leaflet, brazenly headed ‘Shine Bright, Shine Proud’. The Bible says:

Prov 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

The declaration is unmistakable: ‘At Aldi, we’re proud to raise the pride flag in support of the LGBTQIA+ community and our colleagues. Together, we can achieve more!’ This is no mere corporate slogan; it is a full-throated endorsement of an ideology that stands in direct opposition to God’s divine order for humanity.

For a family-friendly supermarket to raise the standard of “Pride” is to declare itself an adversary of Christian truth and a purveyor of moral confusion to our children.

What does ‘LGBTQIA+’ mean for children?

Aldi, in its hubris, demands we accept its “Pride,” but do they even know what it stands for? What do the letters LGBTQIA actually represent, and why the ever-expanding “plus” sign?

For the sake of clarity, the acronym encompasses Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (or Questioning) – whatever that is – Intersex – those individuals merely lumped in for marketing purposes – and Asexual, presumably walking along in the hubristically-named Pride parade with a placard saying ‘I don’t fancy anyone. I’m an oppressed minority’.

The ominous “plus-sign” mops up anyone they haven’t thought of yet – perhaps even people attracted to trees, or those who tragically think they are a cat, for such delusions now exist, and join the parade.

Homosexual activity, once rightly called ‘sodomy’ and ‘gross indecency’, is now legalised across the UK, with “gay marriage” and the ability for gays and lesbians to adopt or even acquire children through taxpayer-funded IVF.

Aldi’s treacherous alliance with pro-trans ‘switchboard’

How dare Aldi claim to be “family-friendly” while actively promoting a pro-gay, pro-trans contact group directly to children? We find ‘gay pride toys’ (with Kevin the Carrot reissued in rainbow colours), with donations to Switchboard for every sale) on page 20, seemingly targeted at toddlers.

Then, on page 21, a cherubic model, around thirteen years old by our estimation, stands as an unwitting face of this corruption. Buried at the bottom of that page is the promotion of ‘Switchboard’ – an anti-christian pressure group that started life as ‘Gay Switchboard’. Aldi claims Switchboard “offers a non-judgmental space,” but make no mistake, judgment is coming. The Bible says:

Switchboard states its staff are ‘all LGBTQIA+’. Do Aldi genuinely think it’s a good idea to put children in touch with such an organisation? Aldi’s copy promises “a safe space to explore, talk and be truly heard about sexuality and gender identity.” “Truly heard” means not being contradicted, and “safe space” means parents are left in the dark.

Switchboard declares: ‘Whatever you tell us will stay between us.’ Does Aldi approve of cutting those of the customers who are parents out of their children’s emotional development and handing them over to pro-gay, pro-trans activists?

The Bible is clear: parents are responsible for their children’s upbringing, not the state, not gay activists, not supermarkets.

Mutilation and madness

Aldi’s unholy alliance with Switchboard extends directly to the grotesque realities of transgender ideology. The ‘LGBTQIA+’ acronym includes ‘T’ for ‘transgender’, and Switchboard openly offers ‘gender-affirming care’ – a euphemism for confirming children in their gender confusion and pushing them down a path of irreversible harm.

Are Aldi even aware of the Supreme Court ruling of 16th April 2025 that unequivocally states ‘trans-women’ remain men, and that it is biologically impossible to change one’s sex? Do they know about the damning Cass Report, which urged “extreme caution” in treating gender-disturbed children and warned that “children are being used as a football” in this ideological battle? And Aldi, disgracefully, is now using children as a football to promote the evil of ‘Pride’!

Are they aware the UK Government has banned puberty blocker hormones for children? A GP practice in Brighton has only today been banned from offering ‘gender-affirming care’. Do Aldi approve of the barbaric mutilation of young women, having their healthy breasts removed because they wrongly believe they are men? Because mutilation, of breasts and even genitals, is where the transgender pathway leads – into a lifetime of pain, drugs, and profound regret.

Preserve childhood

The most fundamental demand of any parent is to “let children be children.” This means allowing them to grow, learn, and explore the world in a way that aligns with their natural development and the beautiful, undeniable truth of their God-given biological sex.

It means shielding them from the politically charged, ideologically driven agendas that seek to blur the lines of male and female. God created them male and female, distinctly and perfectly. To force upon young children complex, often sexualised, notions of “gender identity” is not only confusing but profoundly damaging.

It rips away their inherent security in their God-ordained identity and replaces it with a manufactured crisis of self.

Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Do not fund an anti-christian agenda

Has Aldi’s customer research truly shown that its clientele will 100% approve of their blatant promotion of both homosexuality and gender confusion to small children? We highly suspect that Kyrsten Halley, Aldi’s Marketing Director, merely sought a “right-on bit of corporate virtue-signalling,” or rather, “vice-signalling,” without a thought for their customers or their children. Church covers communion table with ‘divisive progressive flag’ against canon law

Sunderland Minster has re-ignited controversy over the direction of the Anglican communion by covering its communion table with a divisive trans flag. This violation of canon law is also a corruption of Christian worship.

The Communion table, intended to remind worshippers of the Lord’s supper, was draped with a flag representing an ideology that conflicts with biblical teaching. Such an act of defiance against church law highlights the growing influence of the sort of secular ideologies within the Church of England which have impaired its communion with sister churches in the developing world.

The ‘Progress Pride flag’ is an innovation of the homosexual six-colour ‘Rainbow’ flag incorporating additional colours intended to symbolise ‘transgender, intersex, and racial diversity.’ It is now widely associated with triumphalist ‘woke’ ideology.

Brendan O’Neill at Spiked Online wrote, ‘It might not be the flag of a conquering foreign army, but it is the flag of a conquering elite’.

Divisive flag ‘not a Christian emblem’

The Church of England’s own courts have ruled that the flag is not a Christian emblem and should not be used. Yet Rev. Jacqui Tyson ignored this ruling and proudly displayed it on the Communion table in Sunderland Minster’s Bede Chapel.

Her decision in the face of the Canon Law ruling directly contradicts the biblical commandment to honour God alone and not to serve the idols of the world.

Exodus 20:3: Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Ms Tyson defended her move by declaring it meant the church is ‘open to all,’ but that is obviously not true. Displaying the flag is a secularist political statement. Sign our petition:

A distortion of true inclusion

The defence of this unbiblical act was framed under the guise of inclusion. However, as theologian Rev. Dr. Ian Paul has pointed out, the claimed inclusivity is actually exclusionary. It alienates Christians who uphold biblical teachings on gender and sexuality. By imposing the Progress Pride flag on worshippers, the church sends a message that those who do not embrace gender ideology are unwelcome.

The true nature of inclusion, according to Scripture, is found in Christ, who invites all to come to Him in repentance and faith. The Communion table itself is already the greatest symbol of inclusivity, as it represents Christ’s sacrifice for all people regardless of background. To suggest that it needs additional adornments to be welcoming distorts its divine meaning and purpose.

The Bible warns of a time when churches will abandon sound doctrine to please the world:
2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.

When church leaders forsake biblical teachings in favour of human ideologies, they betray their duty as stewards of God’s Word.

Violating canon law and biblical commands

The Church of England has rules regarding what can be placed on the Communion table. Canon law mandates it should only be covered with a white cloth of silk or another suitable material. The ruling (above) from the Diocese of Leicester in 2024 reaffirmed that the ‘Progress Pride’ flag does not meet these standards.

The decision to drape the flag is not a minor infraction, it is a direct challenge to the church’s own governing laws. If the established church disregards these regulations in favour of contemporary political trends, what other essential doctrines will be compromised next? The erosion of church discipline leads to the dilution of faith, which ultimately weakens the body of Christ.

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

Nor is display of the flag an act of love. True Christian love means guiding people toward truth, not affirming them in confusion. Jesus never compromised on truth for the sake of cultural acceptance, and neither should His followers.

Romans 12:2: Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

A call to return to biblical truth

In these times of cultural confusion, the Christian Church must remain steadfast in biblical truth:

John 8:32: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Believers must hold church leaders accountable and call them back to the Christian faith. The Scriptures provide clear guidance on how we should live, worship, and uphold God’s commands. It is time for churches to reject worldly influences and return to the unwavering truth of God’s Word.

The scandal at Sunderland Minster is more than just a debate about a flag—it is a battle for the soul of the church in our land. The Anglican Communion is already divided, with the woke West preferring compromise over homosexuality to unity with the global South.

Will it return to the foundation of Christ, or continue to compromise with secularism?

The answer could determine not just the future of Christianity in our land, but our survival as a constitutionally Christian nation with all our historic freedoms and blessings.

Australia abolishes womanhood

It’s not just the UK living in the Days of Lot.

An Australian judge has issued a ruling that effectively removes the legal distinction of sex, siding with a man who was barred from using a women-only app, the Australian Broadcasting Cooperation reports.

Justice Robert Bromwich declared that, under Australian law, sex is ‘fluid and not necessarily binary.’

The case, Tickle vs Giggle, began when Mr. Tickle—a disgruntled man who now goes by the name ‘Roxanne’ took offence at some social media posts.

Mr. Tickle has made significant efforts to ‘pass’ as female, undergoing ‘gender-affirmation surgery’ in 2019 and altering his birth certificate to obscure his male origins. Despite these changes, his biological sex remains male, though ‘legally’ he is recognised in Australian law as a woman. Watch our video:

Screened out of women only app

The tweets that enraged Mr. Tickle were posted by Sall Grover, the founder of Giggle for Girls, a women-only social media app.

Giggle, a small tech start-up, used facial-recognition software to filter out men. Tickle decided to challenge this and was initially granted access to the app. However, after seven months, his photo was flagged, either by Grover herself or the app’s screening system and his access was restricted.

Mr. Tickle not only threw tantrums but bombarded Ms Grover with emails and phone calls. When that didn’t get him reinstated, he took her to court.

Mr. Tickle argued that he had the right to use Giggle because, on paper, he is legally recognised as a woman. The judge sided with him, stating that ‘the imposed condition of needing to appear to be a “cisgendered” female in photos submitted to the Giggle app had the effect of disadvantaging transgender women who did not meet that condition.’

Legally female or really female?

On 23rd August 2024, Federal Court Justice Robert Bromwich stated: ‘the respondents had defined sex as the unchangeable sex assigned at birth.’

Although Justice Bromwich found Mr Tickle wasn’t subjected to direct discrimination, he upheld the claim of indirect discrimination because the Giggle for Girls app required the bloke to appear as a woman to use it.

In reading the ruling, it’s evident that Justice Bromwich recognises that men cannot become women, but he deemed biology irrelevant to the case.

Instead, he adhered to an administrative interpretation of sex and gender, stating that ‘Mr. Tickle is a legal female, as reflected in his updated birth certificate issued under Queensland law.’

Justice Bromwich ordered the app to pay him £5,100 in addition to costs.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tickle’s counsel, Georgina Costello KC argued that sex and gender are not binary and involve psychological and social dimensions, not just biological ones. On the other hand, Ms Grover’s lawyer, Bridie Nolan argued that sex is biological and gender was a social construct, disputing that Mr Tickle had the ‘psychology of a woman’.

Global implications of the ruling

The case, Tickle vs. Giggle, has established a troubling legal precedent with far-reaching implications. By prioritising an administrative definition of gender over biological realities, the ruling goes against Biblical laws, and challenges long-standing social norms.

Justice Bromwich’s decision could influence future cases worldwide, potentially eroding protections based on biological sex.

Does Sri Lanka have a death wish?

A powerful UN committee is pushing Sri Lanka into legalising abortion under the guise of ‘Women’s Empowerment’.

The UN’s ‘Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women’ has drafted a Bill which will be debated in the Sri Lanka parliament tomorrow.

A parliamentary committee has approved the Empowerment of Women Bill which claims to facilitate the ’empowerment of women by implementing mechanisms to protect their rights’. But, of course, included in those supposed ‘rights’ will be an invented ‘right’ to abortion.

The Bible says:
Jeremiah 31:15 Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

In that light, a right to kill their own children does not ’empower’ women, it diminishes them.

The Bill was approved with conditions at the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Children, Women and Gender. It will be debated in the Sri Lanka Parliament tomorrow, 20th June 2024.

We are urging Christian people both in Sri Lanka and elsewhere to pray for wisdom for Sri Lanka and its Parliament.

Women’s Empowerment Bill

The Women’s Empowerment Bill includes the following provisions:

Advancement and Empowerment of Women: Introduce mechanisms to secure women’s rights in accordance with the Constitution.

International Obligations: Implement measures to fulfill Sri Lanka’s commitments under the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women and applicable laws.

National Policy Implementation: Formulate and execute a national policy for the advancement and empowerment of women, ensuring timely interventions across all sectors and levels.

Protection Against Discrimination: Safeguard women from all forms of discrimination based on gender and sexual orientation.

National policy on gender equality

The Women Empowerment bill and the UNFPA National Policy on gender has one thing in common- ‘gender equality’.

The National Policy on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in Sri Lanka, was launched on International Women’s Day 2023.

It was developed by the Ministry of Women, Child Affairs, and Social Empowerment with support from UNFPA Sri Lanka and other UN agencies.

They claim the bill aims to ‘create a framework to guide and standardise laws, policies, and programs that promote gender equality and empower women across all sectors’.

UK promoting ‘Women’s Empowerment’

The UK has killed over 10 million pre-born babies since 1968. And you can be sure the UK has been exporting our current anti-life philosophy, bringing further judgment on us.

In a document from the British Embassy in Colombo, headed: ‘UK In Sri Lanka: #ChooseToChallenge for Gender Equality’, we read about ‘our policy advocacy’ and that the UK will ‘continue to work on a wide range of gender issues’. They say: ‘This includes … increasing women’s … empowerment.’

We have already reported on the UK Foreign Office financing pro-sodomy NGO’s in Sri Lanka. One can only imagine the row there would be if Sri Lanka were to be caught interfering in the internal affairs of the United Kingdom.

Gender policy or twisting the law?

Part of the National Policy on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment claims it seeks to promote gender equality. However, campaigners argue the draft policy aims to manipulate the law.

This concern is evident in a section of the document stating:; ‘Abortion is criminalised in Sri Lanka, unless to save the pregnant woman’s life.

‘While its legal status does not prevent women from seeking termination of pregnancy, it prevents women from seeking immediate medical assistance when complications occur and puts them at the risk of being charged for procuring illegal termination of pregnancy. As such, septic abortion has been one of the leading contributors to maternal deaths in Sri Lanka.

‘The basic health needs of LGBTIQ+ people and the general population are the same, yet their sexual orientation and gender identity acts as a barrier in accessing health related information and services, including reproductive health.

‘Lesbian Gay Bi-sexual Transgender Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI+) individuals are also often overlooked as victims of gender-based violence. Given the ambiguity in the law and punitive lens adopted by law enforcement against them, LGBTQI+ individuals and even commercial sex workers are cast outside of the regulated framework to access legal, medical and other support services. Female sex workers and their clients, men who have sex with men and injecting drug users are considered as vulnerable persons.

The Bible says,

President bows to gender pressure

Sri Lanka’s president Ranil Wickremesinghe has given in to the Western pressure of ‘woke gender ideologies’.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe in Parliament on 18th June raised a point of order, challenging the Supreme Court’s ruling against the Gender Equality Bill. He argued that the ruling infringes upon the legislative powers of the House.

Consequently, he called for the establishment of a Parliamentary Select Committee to examine the issue thoroughly.

President Wickremesinghe said:’First and foremost the bill says, what the national policy on gender equality and empowerment of women is referred to in this bill. At the least it’s hard to find out. It’s not specific as there is no reference in the bill. There has been a national policy on women’s empowerment and gender equality since 2011. These are obligations of the Government under the Sustainable Development Goals 5 and a number of women’s conventions and agreements that we have signed.

‘The Supreme Court cannot in any way go and make any ruling on this. Then they are contravening and coming into our area.

‘Secondly, there’s a large number of cases which have been given on the question of equality and equality of women. They have also ignored the special determination on the Penal Code Amendment, made by the Chief Justice. In this, we are talking of empowering women and ensuring equality for women’, he added.

President Ranil announced the bill on International Women’s Day with plans that the government will pass the bill by the end of June 2024.

‘Pathway to legalising abortion and prostitution’

Church leaders and a civil society group have warned that the Gender Equality Bill in Sri Lanka is a ‘pathway to legalising abortion and prostitution’ under the guidance of the United Nations in the island nation.

Cultura Vitae, an organisation dedicated to combating abortion and prostitution worldwide, said the proposed bill would erode the sanctity of marriage and family values.

‘The constitution guarantees equality before the law and equal opportunity for all persons. So, the question is: why is the UN pushing the government of Sri Lanka to enact a gender equality bill?’.

A letter to parliament

In a recent letter to a Member of Parliament, Dr. Eshan Dias of Cultura Vitae, expressed concerns over the Women’s Empowerment Bill in Sri Lanka. The bill which aligns with the United Nations’ Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), was gazetted on 7 March, 2024, and is scheduled for parliamentary discussion on 20 June, 2024.

Dr. Dias highlighted that the CEDAW Committee, comprising unelected radical feminists, responded to Sri Lanka’s eighth periodic submission by recommending significant legislative changes. These recommendations include legalising abortion not only when the pregnant woman’s life is at risk but also in cases of rape, incest, and severe fetal impairment, and decriminalising abortion in other cases. Additionally, the Committee suggested removing barriers to safe abortion services, such as the need for a judicial inquiry and a medical certificate.

Meanwhile, the UN Human Rights Council also instructed Sri Lanka in April 2023 to liberalise abortion laws.

Dr. Eshan criticised these directives from unelected UN committees, arguing that they undermine Sri Lanka’s sovereignty and existing constitutional guarantees of equality before the law. He contended that the bill, influenced by Western governments through UN agents, could lead to the legalisation of abortion, prostitution, birth control education for children, and the normalisation of homosexuality.

He urged for the bill to be defeated, emphasising that Sri Lanka already has common-sense laws addressing violence and discrimination, and does not need to adopt provisions from supranational conventions.

CEDAW

The United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), is a body of 23 members on women’s issues from around the world. A total of 151 experts have served as members of the Committee since 1982

CEDAW claims it watches over the progress for women made in those countries that are the States parties to the 1979 Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.

In other words, (CEDAW), is a body that promotes and pushes Western laws paraded as human right to countries they described as ‘States parties to the 1979 Convention’.

According to the 23-member body, a country becomes a State party by ratifying or acceding to the Convention and thereby accepting a legal obligation to counteract discrimination against women.

‘The Committee monitors the implementation of national measures to fulfil this obligation and also makes recommendations on any issue affecting women to which it believes the States parties should devote more attention’.

Britain could reject WHO pandemic treaty

The World Health Assembly oversees the WHO

Britain is saying no to signing the World Health Organisation’s pandemic treaty because it doesn’t want to give away a fifth of its vaccines, the Telegraph reports.

The WHO is halfway through talks among its 194 member states to agree on this pandemic agreement, first announced in May 2021. The UK says it is against any deal that would weaken its sovereignty. Pray the UK maintains its stand on this vital issue.

During the height of the Covid crisis, politicians including Boris Johnson panicked into proposing a binding document, a pandemic treaty, to tackle future global health emergencies.

The latest draft of this treaty requires all member states, including the UK, to share 20% of pandemic-related health products like vaccines and prohibits hoarding supplies like therapeutics and PPE.

On the matter of national sovereignty, the Bible says,
Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has deviated from its own legal protocols by presenting draft amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) for consideration at the 77th World Health Assembly (WHA) this May without giving the required notice.

The final IHR amendments were meant to be circulated four months in advance of the vote to allow the 194 member states time to review them (Schedule 2, Article 55). However, updated versions of the IHR amendments presented in April 2024 were still in draft form, and were still being negotiated by the working group as late as last week.

The UK not ready to give up control

The WHO draft document states that the UN-run agency would get ‘real-time access’ to 10 per cent of these products for free, and 10 per cent ‘at affordable prices’.

According to the document, countries should ‘set aside a portion of its total procurement of relevant diagnostics, therapeutics or vaccines in a timely manner for use in countries facing challenges, and avoid having national stockpiles of pandemic-related health products’.

A source familiar with the negotiations said: ‘The UK could not accept these proposals in their current form , and they have not been agreed’.

The UK will only agree to a global agreement if it can control the use of its vaccines. While the UK is open to mutually beneficial collaborations, it won’t give up control over its own assets. Sharing healthcare items is considered a red flag in the talks over the pandemic treaty. Poorer countries want fair treatment, but richer ones worry about losing control to a global organisation.

A key part of the treaty, the WHO Pathogen Access and Benefits Sharing system, has been delayed to 2026 because countries can’t agree on how to share virus samples for research. Experts think the talks won’t solve all the disagreements, so they expect a basic treaty to be signed and formally adopted at the end of May.

“Misrepresented evidence”

Negotiations concerning two documents aimed at changing how pandemics and potential pandemics are managed have been ongoing at the WHO for the past 18 months.

These changes would concentrate coordination and decision-making within the WHO. As of early May, the amendments to the 2005 International Health Regulations (IHR) and the proposed new Pandemic Agreement were still being discussed by the Working Group on Amendments to the International Health Regulations (WGIHR) and the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB) respectively.

Despite evidence showing a decrease in natural outbreaks and pandemic risks over the last one to two decades, negotiations are proceeding with unusual speed.

WHO breaking its own laws?

The COVID-19 outbreak, potentially linked to unnatural causes like gain-of-function research, and a WHO review of the pandemic response’s effectiveness not scheduled until 2030, are prompting concerns. Yet, national negotiating teams and the WHO are pushing forward with plans for widespread surveillance and mass vaccination using vaccines that skip normal clinical trials.

This approach is clearly problematic from a public health perspective. What’s even more puzzling is that the WHO is rushing to vote on these changes in just three weeks, disregarding its own legal requirements.

The WHO intends for its member states to vote on these matters at the 77th WHA without providing reference documents.

Planned votes violates Article 55 Amendments

The current Article 55(2) of the current IHR that provides:

1. Amendments to these Regulations may be proposed by any State Party or by the Director-General. Such proposals for amendments shall be submitted to the Health Assembly for its consideration.

2. The text of any proposed amendment shall be communicated to all States Parties by the Director-General at least four months before the Health Assembly at which it is proposed for consideration.

Therefore, this planned vote goes against Article 55(2) of the current International Health Regulations (IHR).

Nigel calls for withdrawal from WHO

Nigel Farage has criticised the WHOs Pandemic Preparedness treaty and called on the government to wake up to the risks of signing it.

Speaking on GB News Nigel Farage said: ‘I have often talked about the World Health Organisation, people I have absolutely no faith in whatsoever, with their annual budget of $7 billion every year and who did their best to hide the true causes of Covid.

‘They have scheduled for the end of May a conference at which they want us to sign up to a global pandemic treaty that would give them the right not only to tell us to lock down the next time they deem a pandemic, but also to take 20% of our stocks of any medicines or vaccines that we have, to spread around the world.

‘It is such a loss of national sovereignty that it is untrue. So far, it would appear that the British government is going to sign up to this.

‘Interestingly last night Senator Ron Johnson, Republican, managed to get all 49 Republican senators to write to Biden to say, ‘Do not sign this treaty. It would be a dreadful abrogation of sovereignty.’

Health Secretary to back legalisation of abortion

The Health Secretary has expressed support for making abortion legal, as Members of Parliament are set to vote on changing the law for the first time in 30 years.

Victoria Atkins, in an interview with the Telegraph, indicated that she would back decriminalising abortion and creating buffer zones around abortion clinics.

MPs will vote on two changes to abortion laws this month. One would make abortion legal after 24 weeks, and the other would lower the time limit to 22 weeks.

Diana Johnson, a Labour MP, wants to change the law so women won’t be punished for having an abortion after 24 weeks. Her proposal has support from MPs of different parties.

Victoria Atkins told the Telegraph: ‘I’m very conscious as Health Secretary that whatever the House decides if there is a vote, my department will be the one to either maintain the status quo or to deliver change.

‘And so at this stage, I’m not going to say anything publicly because I just want to see how the debate develops. But my voting record speaks for itself.’

Birth rates hitting record lows across the pro-abortion West

Abortion advocates are actively pushing to secure the legal “right” to kill babies in the womb extending up to nine months. In the United States, Joe Biden is prioritising the issue of feticide in the 2024 presidential campaign, and Vice President Kamala Harris is embarking on a nationwide “abortion tour” to rally voters.

The U.K. is witnessing efforts to completely decriminalise abortion, while in France, the Senate recently voted to enshrine abortion in the country’s constitution.

This development is noteworthy in the context of an ongoing series of headlines highlighting a widespread concern in the declining birth rates. Recent reports include Canada experiencing its lowest fertility rate in recorded history, Spain seeing a 25 percent drop in birth rates over the past decade, and the United States witnessing a continued decline in births, with nearly half of women under 45 being childless.

The United Kingdom,is also grappling with a record-low birthrate.

A letter to MPs

Recently, Christian Voice National Director, Stephen Green, wrote to 50 MPs on the issue of abortion.

He wrote: ‘Our pro-life MPs are especially in our prayers for wisdom, and in these days, for safety.
You may not know, but earlier this month I was convicted for standing with a Bible verse (Psalm 139:13) in the Ealing Buffer Zone a year ago and am now appealing to the Crown Court. In the House of Commons, I am aware there will be amendments, both pro-life and pro-abortion, tabled to the Criminal Justice Bill at its Report Stage presently.

It appears to me that what is too often overlooked in debates on abortion is the question of what exactly is that in the womb of a woman presenting for an elective abortion. The humanity of the child in the womb, so beautifully expressed by the psalmist in my Ealing Bible verse, is, I believe, the pro-abortion weak spot.

Therefore we shall be praying that someone will stand to challenge each MP proposing decriminalisation to tell the House what precisely is it in a woman’s womb. A pregnant woman used to be described as ‘with child’. So if that is not a human being, can they kindly tell the House what it is?

(Video Transcript:) I was going to spare you any comment on the Scarlet Blake / Fangze Wang affair, which is on our website anyway, but it’s still drawing comment, with the BBC’s Samira Ahmed agonising about it on Newswatch last Saturday morning (2nd March 2024).

Viewers have written, or emailed, in complaining about BBC reporters referring to this psychopathic bloke as a ‘woman’, not even prefixing with ‘Trans’. All the mainstream media did the same.

But an earlier piece on Saturday’s BBC news, where presenter Naga Munchetty interviewed MP Tobias Ellwood about threats to MPs without either of them once telling viewers where the threats were actually coming from, tipped the balance.

Questioning Reality

The media / political complex are manipulating us into doubting our own sanity, into questioning reality, into believing their absurdities. Well, you’ll only get the truth here, so let me show you how it works with half-a-dozen examples. Then we’ll see what to do about it.

We’ll start with Covid, where they pretended we were all equally at risk, that bacterial handwash and crude masks could stop an air-borne virus, that experimental gene-therapies were safe, fully-tested good honest vaccines. Media and government propaganda nudged us into standing 2 metres apart and staying indoors so effectively that even today, some of us would welcome restrictions back.

Climate, Abortion and War

They are now doing it over climate hysteria, pretending there is an emergency which calls for you to travel less, eat less meat, turn the heating down and put on a jumper, while the elite waste your money like water on ill-conceived idiocies, impoverish the people and jet around the world. Despite Jesus ‘upholding all things by the word of his power’ you’ll even find Christians agreeing with them. And as for Bristol Cathedral!

They do it on abortion. Not even pro-life MPs want to rock the boat by asking their pro-abortion colleagues what exactly is that in the womb? Is that a human being? Was the psalmist right to say ‘thou hast covered ME in my mother’s womb’ or not?

People trot out lines they have learnt from the BBC forgetting the psalmist said: ‘I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.’

Which leads us finally to Fangze Wang, a deranged man who prefers to be called Scarlet Blake and pretend he is a woman, with Police, CPS, the judge and journalists colluding in his self-deception, hoping YOU won’t notice the one THEY are calling a woman is really a man. The Lord Jesus himself said God created us male and female, not ourselves.

We’ll be saying, ‘this is the Lord’s doing and it is marvellous in our eyes.’

NHS staff invited to a three-day pronouns and gender conference

Protect the NHS – but why?

Over 1,000 NHS staff have received invitations to attend what is called a three-day “diversity” conference that will feature conversations on pronouns and gender.

This event, taking place from October 3 to October 5, is being hosted by Bromley Healthcare, the primary contractor for community healthcare services in south-east London.

The conference agenda encompasses discussions on topics such as “pronouns, language, and LGBTQ+ allyship,” as well as “gender and LGBTQ+ sessions designed for colleagues working with children.”

It’s worth noting that this event is occurring despite the NHS facing significant backlogs in its healthcare services. According to the Telegraph, healthcare staff were told to complete “mandatory unconscious bias training”.

MPS reactions

Miriam Cates, the Conservative MP, said: ‘This kind of ‘training’ is not only a complete waste of taxpayers’ money, it is also deeply divisive, spreading destructive ideas that the majority of the population rejects.

‘Unconscious bias’ training has been shown to be a worthless exercise and we should be deeply concerned that the NHS is encouraging its staff to talk to children in their care about sex and sexuality.

‘The Government should introduce a ban on all public sector training that does not directly relate to the activities for which staff are employed.’

Woke Ideology

Dame Priti Patel said: ‘The alarming rate at which woke ideology is powering through the ranks of the public sector and civil service is shocking.

‘Now we hear of mandatory lectures for health professionals whose focus should be on patient care and not pronouns.

‘The professionalism and impartiality of the machinery of the state is rightly under serious public scrutiny, so it’s about time the leadership at the top of government took responsibility and stopped the spread of such activities across the public sector.’

Focus on appointments, not gender propaganda

Over 120,000 individuals have lost their lives while awaiting NHS treatment, as the backlog reaches an unprecedented peak by July 2023, according to an analysis of health service data. High waits for treatment are not new.

Prior to the pandemic in February 2020, there were already 4.43 million people on a waiting list for care. Rather than focusing on reducing cues on the wait list, the NHS is investing in gender propaganda.

Further, Bromley Healthcare was found to require improvement in five out of six key areas of competence after its latest inspection by the independent regulator of the NHS in summer 2021.

The Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) report rated the contractor’s safety standards, effectiveness, responsiveness, and leadership as requiring improvement. Only its care provision received a rating of “good”.

Issues highlighted included a failure to make “basic criminal record checks” on non-executive directors, a “variation in [the] quality” of care provided by nursing and health visiting teams, and it found “patient experience feedback was limited”.

Last week, the world was told that children should have the right to take national governments to court for failing to tackle climate change. But in fact, this is the United Nations using children for its own ends.

The recent report from the Committee on the Rights of the Child commends the efforts of children for being vocal on environmental crisis. It claims that it is children rather than adults who possess the kind of wisdom necessary to tackle the problems it says are ‘facing the planet’. It calls for legal affirmation and validation of the authority of children.

The Bible says wisdom is with elders, not children:
Job 12:12 With the ancient is wisdom, and in length of days understanding.

The Prophet Isaiah even describes the rule of children as a curse:
Isaiah 3: 4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. 5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

But the new report praises ‘the efforts of children’ for drawing attention to ‘environmental crises’.

The Statement

The new report says adults are unfit to make major world-changing decisions. It puts children in a place of authority.

Part of its statement reads; ‘The efforts of children to draw attention to these environmental crises created the motivation and were the momentum behind the present general comment. The Committee benefited immeasurably from the contributions of children at its 2016 day of general discussion on children’s rights and the environment.

‘A diverse and dedicated children’s advisory team, comprising 12 advisors of between 11 and 17 years of age, supported the consultation process undertaken for the general comment, with 16,331 contributions from children, from 121 countries, through online surveys, focus groups and in-person national and regional consultations.’

The publication even quoted the children’s comments: ‘The environment is our life. Adults should stop making decisions for the future they won’t experience. We are the key means of solving climate change, as it is our lives at stake.’ ‘I would like to tell [adults] that we are the future generations and, if you destroy the planet, where will we live?.’

The Bible tells us to respect what has been put in place by previous generations:
Pro 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

Children used for political gains

In 2019, Greta Thunberg became famous as the prominent figure of the school strike for Climate movement when she was only 15 years old. In the subsequent year, she received a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. Her acclaim has consistently been rooted in her criticism of adults, whom she accuses of shirking their responsibility for environmental issues.

The 17-year-old activist wrote on the Friends of the Earth website, ‘Adults are letting us down when it comes to climate change, which is why I am striking.’

The use of Greta Thunberg by the elites follows a familiar pattern. The UN is sold out to climate fanaticism and thinks it can use the voices of children to achieve ends which the more sober-minded might be inclined to reject.

During a speech delivered at the United Nations climate-change summit in December 2018, Ms Thunberg declared, ‘Given that our leaders are acting irresponsibly, we must now shoulder the responsibilities they ought to have assumed long ago.’ But all that means is they do not agree with her, not that they are irresponsible.

A regressive trend

Children have readily embraced the call to doubt the intentions of their elders. They are willing to attend rallies and protests which often feature posters proclaiming messages such as ‘You’ll Die of Old Age, We’ll Die of Climate Change’ or ‘I Am Skipping School Because You Are Neglecting Our Future.’

Furthermore, during an anti-Brexit protest in London, a sign boldly declaring ‘Adults Ruin Everything. Stop Brexit’ encapsulated the broader sentiment of holding adults accountable, extending beyond environmental concerns. This can only be cultural decadence where children are used to fuel ideologies.

The UK has a ‘youth parliament‘. We read: ‘Once elected, Members of Youth Parliament meet with MPs and local councillors, organise events, run campaigns, make speeches, hold debates, and ensure the views of young people are listened to by decision makers.’

In reality, the ‘youth parliaments’ are run and insulated by adults. No child is able to lobby their youth ‘member of parliament’.

Leaders count the cost

Parents and leaders are put in the place of authority for a reason. Their age and experience of life imbues them with wisdom. Their role is to lead, provide counsel in times of chaos, make meaningful decisions, and provide for the family. God has not reversed these roles.

The UN committee is engaging in a dishonest attempt to promote its political agenda through the medium of children’s rights. But encouraging children to speak against the authority of their elders is disrespectful and a sin before God.

The Bible establishes a wider principle of respect for elders when it states:
Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

In addition, it is adults, not children, who are given the job of planning for the future, making all the decisions to do with cost-benefit analysis:
Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

Schools adopt gender-neutral uniforms to allow pupils to “self-identify”

Schools In the United Kingdom are using “gender-neutral” uniform policies. These policies allow students to select their clothing based on their self-identified gender rather than being categorised as the way God created them (boys or girls).

Many schools are now using terms like “Uniform A” and “Uniform B” instead of traditional gender-specific labels.

Even primary schools have eliminated uniforms that are designated by gender, enabling children as young as four to wear clothing that aligns with the gender they choose to identify as.

According to the Daily Mail private schools, including Britain’s most expensive, Brighton College, plus Christian state primaries and secondaries and sixth form colleges nationwide have adopted gender policies.

In many cases, the words boy and girl are erased from uniform policy documents, replaced by “Uniform A” and “Uniform B.”

Most schools have also introduced a “Uniform C”.

Children’s mental health under threat

Children’s mental health is under threat due to the ongoing “Relationships and Sex Education” (RSE) propaganda in schools.

Retired head Chris McGovern, chairperson of the Campaign for Real Education, told the Mail: ‘Schools are adding to the mental health problems of children who, after going into school, no longer know what gender they belong to.

‘It’s time we had a government with the backbone to intervene.’

Even Christian state schools, based on Church of England teachings, are among those removing children’s gender from uniform policies.

Ellesmere Port Church of England College, in Cheshire, does not use the words boy or girl to “ensure all pupils feel part of the College’s community.”

Rishi Sunak quiet on gender propaganda

The government has repeatedly delayed the release of its “school transgender guidance” following advice from its legal counselors, who said that it would violate the Equality Act 2010.

Rather than take actions, the Mr Rishi Sunak has sorted to using the phrase “extreme caution” and “taking more time to hear from experts”.

Earlier this year, education secretary Gillian Keegan, was asked by Sky News if she thought 16 was too young for people to change gender. Keegan replied, ‘No, I don’t, actually. I was working at 16, I was paying tax at 16, I was making decisions for myself at 16.’ Sunak dithers on issuing guidance to schools while keeping in post an education secretary who thinks changing gender is like getting a Saturday job.’

‘We have to be very sensitive to children. We are actually going to publish some guidance and consult because it is a very tricky area to get right,’ she said.

‘It has to be age appropriate, but children have to be supported as well.’

Parents take charge

The RSE propaganda in schools across the UK is a sign that parents should take charge of their children’s life and education. Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) propaganda is sold to children who have no business knowing about “trans” ideologies.

A few weeks ago, a parent in Hull decided that their child would not be part of this RSE propaganda, and withdrew their four-year-old from a pre-school over inappropriate images.

Meanwhile, the UK Home Office has adopted the “gender neutral” policy. Civil servants, particularly “nonbinary staff”, are given male and female security passes, allowing them to change their gender identity daily.

According to the Home Office’s “gender reassignment and gender identity” policy, “nonbinary” officials can present the gender which matches their identity on a daily basis.

Sri Lanka NGO Equal Ground is a foreign agent working for Western governments and foundations

A local NGO pushing for decriminalisation of unnatural acts and gross indecency in Sri Lanka is a foreign agent, Christian Voice can reveal.

The pro-gay non-profit Equal Ground, which also promotes the destructive ideology of transgenderism, is financially supported by the High Commissions of the UK, Canada, and Australia and the Embassies of the United States, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Equal Ground is also funded by the wealthy UK-based Sigrid Rausing Trust and the overtly-homosexual GiveOut.org. On the website of the latter, we read: ‘In 2021, GiveOut’s grant will support Equal Ground’s core costs as they continue decriminalisation efforts in Sri Lanka.’

West uses agent to meddle in Sri Lankan politics

Equal Ground’s ‘decriminalisation efforts’ have been targeted at the courts, in what is now known as ‘Strategic Litigation’. That device uses the courts to force changes to civil and criminal law. ‘Strategic Litigation’ is now a well-developed tool of foreign-funded pro-sodomy activists all over the developing world.

Let us be clear. Western foundations and governments are using a local agent, which they have set up, to interfere in the internal affairs of Sri Lanka. Imagine the row if Sri Lanka was meddling in the politics of the UK or Canada.

Equal Ground also lists the UK-based Kaleidoscope Trust as a ‘partner’ alongside US-based ‘InterPride’, the ‘Fund for Global Human Rights’ and ‘Sysco LABS’ (‘the innovation office of Sysco, the No. 1 foodservice provider in the world)’ together with the pro-trans ‘Equality Fund’, which is itself funded by the UK and Canada.

Equal Ground and Premanath Dolawatte

The Equal Ground NGO is now working with a Sri Lanka MP, Hon Premanath C. Dolawatte, who is attempting to garner support for a bill to decriminalise unnatural acts and gross indecency. It would be no surprise if foreign actors have already sought to channel funds to the campaign of Hon Dolawatte.

Be that as it may, foreign governments and foundations are meddling in Sri Lanka to force that nation to legalise unnatural acts, alien to family, culture, decency and the eternal laws of the Almighty:

Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Article 365 of the Sri Lankan Penal Code, which dates from the time of colonial British Ceylon, like its Kenyan (Art 162) equivalent, criminalizes ‘carnal intercourse against the order of nature’. Article 365A prohibits gross indecency. The former offence carries a sentence of ten years while the latter is punishable by two years’ imprisonment. The offences follow divine law, but are anathema to modern Western thinking.

UK-based organisations are pushing sodomy onto Sri Lanka through funding of other projects as well. The Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), boasts on its website that it funded a series of pro-LGBT short fictional propaganda films. These, it says, ‘premiered in the country in late 2021 and will go on tour around the country in 2022.’

Furthermore, the project was ‘funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and implemented in partnership with Kaleidoscope Trust (KT).’ The UK Foreign Office is caught once more interfering in the affairs of a sovereign country.

And of course the foreign-funded pro-gay Sri Lankan-based ‘Equal Ground’ NGO was a ‘local CSO partner’ in the enterprise.

NGO transparency

Speaking on transparency, ‘Equal Ground’ say: ‘We will not withhold information about our activities or finances from our donors. If we make a mistake, we will own up to it and find a way to correct it.’

What they will not do is admit to is how much their donors give or the sum of their total income and operating expenses. Their Equal Ground 2021 annual report does not name any donors. Only on page 5 of their latest 2022 report do we find some ‘funding partner’ logos, to which our research has added more.

The glossily-produced publication and the activities of Equal Ground certainly indicate that the funding they receive from the West is immense. If a Sri Lanka MP were to move a Transparency Bill, the funding for this foreign agent and others like it could be revealed.

Woke white West

Note that the funding of Equal Ground is all from the woke white Western nations. No Eastern-European, Asian or African Embassy, High Commission or NGO is funding Equal Ground. Nor are any Sri Lankans, with one strange exception.

Surprisingly, Equal Ground say Sri Lanka’s biggest conglomerate, John Keells Holdings PLC, is also funding them. To what extent is not clear and it could be a lie, for the NGO is not listed in John Keells PLC accounts.

The Wall Street Journal puts JKH PLC’s latest turnover at 276,640m SL Rupee, or $940m. Its directors will no doubt bump into company directors from the West as they jet around the world, and with wokeness now endemic in Western business, groupthink may have overcome decency. Whatever the reason, John Keells PLC recently launched a ‘OneJKH’ initiative to show how ‘diverse’ and ‘inclusive’ they are.

Under ‘Human Capital’ they say: ‘LGBTIQ: In September 2021, another key milestone was reached with the completion of the Inclusive Workplace Survey conducted in partnership with The National Transgender Network (NTN) and The Grassrooted Trust, to obtain a broad range of information on trans inclusivity in the corporate sector. During the same period, the Group joined IFC Sri Lanka’s ‘TWC+’ (‘Together We Can Plus), making commitments on inclusivity towards Persons with Disabilities.’

Pray for Sri Lanka

Across the world, transgenderism, men pretending to be women, is being seen as the lie it is. Sports bodies are stopping men competing as women. Young women are coming forward distraught at the irreversible mastectomies and hormone injections they went through vainly trying to be men. This ‘trans bubble’ may not yet have burst in Sri Lanka but John Keells PLC should distance themselves from this evil and from the anti-family agenda of the gay activists if Krishan Balendra wants to be on the right side of history.

In the meantime, please pray for Sri Lanka. Pray that the desires of the Western nations to corrupt Sri Lanka and its children are thwarted. Pray that their foreign agents are exposed for what they are. Pray that support for the bill being moved by Hon Dolawatte drains away. Pray that instead, Sri Lanka seeks the Lord and his ways. Pray for the directors of John Keells:

Psalm 34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

And please pray for Christian Voice and for the Lord to raise up Christians in Sri Lanka to stand for righteousness.

The Bible on banking (and de-banking)

Nigel Farage’s Coutts account was closed because he did not toe the establishment line. Others have had the same treatment. What does the Bible say about bank accounts? Let’s look at the Bible on banking!

Initially Dame Alison Rose, the Chief Executive of NatWest, who own Coutts, told a BBC journalist that Mr Farage’s account was closed after he fell below the bank’s ‘wealth requirements.’ The Guardian reported on 26th July 2023 how that (untrue) breach of confidence led to her resignation after evidence from Coutts showed the Brexiteer was really ‘de-banked’ for his political views. Mr Farage submitted a subject access request to Coutts which resulted in their disclosure of a 40-page document concluding the former Brexit Party leader’s views were “at odds with our position as an inclusive organisation” as Sky reports here.

Three weeks earlier, the Guardian was reporting on the ‘lack of funds’ story, not yet knowing Dame Alison planted it, but also quoting the former Brexit party leader on his suspicion that the closure of his account was linked to his status as a politically exposed person (PEP).

Non-woke pressure group refused a bank account

According to the Telegraph , Metro Bank refused to open a new business account for Our Duty, a group of more than 2,000 parents who believe that it is harmful for transgender children to undergo a medical transition.

The group’s founder, Keith Jordan, said that a manager told the group it could not open a business account because ‘the content of your website conflicts with the culture and ideas we are pushing’. Shooting clubs have also reported being ‘de-banked’.

Even earlier, in June 2005, Christian Voice was ‘non-banked’ by the Co-op, and forced to move banks.

The ‘ethical’ bank who claim not to discriminate, discriminated against Christian Voice because our Christian beliefs based on scripture and evidence lead us to oppose homosexual rights and homosexual practice. Both of those, we since discovered, the Co-op support avidly, sponsoring homosexual events and ‘gay pride’ parades.

Meanwhile, an EU-era law is being blamed, not just for Mr Farage’s exclusion from Coutts but for his failure to find a new bank to accept him. But even if the ‘politically exposed persons’ phrase is deleted, the woke banks, all led by ‘Remainers’ and all members of Stonewall’s ‘Diversity Champions’, will surely find another way to exclude people and refuse them an account, despite bluster from Culture Secretary Lucy Frazer MP.

There are echos here of lockdown, when governments, contrary to all that is holy, forbad people from working and earning a living. So what does the Bible say about banking in the modern age?

The Bible on banking

Working for a living encapsulates the essential pursuit of sustenance, purpose, and personal fulfillment throughout human history, as individuals navigate their career paths to find balance between financial stability and a meaningful life. Therefore, man is to work for a living.

The Bible says,
Gen 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

The command is repeated in the New Testament:
2Thess 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

And most men receive wages for their work:
Gen 29:15 And Laban said unto Jacob, Because thou art my brother, shouldest thou therefore serve me for nought? tell me, what shall thy wages be?

Payment in cash on the day

Indeed, working people rely on their wages. In Bible times payment in cash on the day was usual, as in our Lord’s parable of the workers in the vineyard:
Matt 20:8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

That approach is commanded in the Law:
Deut 24:15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.

The Apostle Paul contrasts earned wages and a gift as he writes about sin and forgiveness:
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The dear Apostle could not use that dramatic insight unless people knew what wages are.

Work and Wealth

In Ecclesiastes the writer brings work and wages together describing the enjoyment of the fruits of our labour as ‘the gift of God:
Eccl 3:13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

The Lord’s people are told that the power to build up wealth comes from the Lord:
Deut 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Banking in the Bible

Wealth might be stored in buildings and machinery, in flocks and herds of livestock or even in money, in jewellery or in precious metals like gold and silver. Clearly, from the earliest times, men have relied on a medium of exchange to buy and sell.
Gen 23:16 And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.

The Apostle James uses buying and selling to make a point:
Jas 4:13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

One might be tempted to suggest you don’t find banks in the Bible, But, yes you do. Jesus asked the slothful servant:
Luke 19:23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?

Set your affection on things above

We might think Christians should be focussing on higher-minded things than bank accounts. After all, Scripture says:
Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

The context there is not daily life and earning a living, but on putting on our new life in Christ. Jesus himself also speaks of ‘treasure in heaven’:
Matt 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

But in the same chapter, our Lord assures us that although we are not to set our affection on material things, the Almighty knows we need them to live:
Matt 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

The Apostles needed money for travel and subsistence while taking out the Gospel. Earlier, when God told Jonah to preach at Nineveh, he tried to go in the opposite direction, and that cost money:
Jonah1:3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.

A form of oppression

Mr Farage observes that he has become a ‘non-person’ by his exclusion from his bank coupled with his inability to find another. Indeed, in today’s society, all over the world, it is impossible to function in society with a bank account. Most wages are paid into a bank account. To be refused one in a monopoly is a form of oppression condemned by the prophet:

Isa 5:8 Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!

Even those paid cash need a bank account to pay their insurance, council tax, things ordered online and so much more . We know there are those who would love to see a cashless society. Even today, the train companies are trying to close station ticket offices and force everyone onto machines or online purchases. But many poorer or older people cannot do that.

Statistics of purchases

There are many ordinary people keeping the principle of cash alive by using it for purchases.

Yet a report on Statista shows the use of cash declining from 22% of UK purchases in 2017 to 10% in 2022. The majority are using cards or mobiles. The most dramatic drop of more than half, from 27% to 13%, occurred from 2019 to 2020. Government-sponsored fears about Covid infections accelerated the use of ‘contactless’. Cash has not recovered since, declining a further three percentage points from 2020 to 2022.

It follows from all this that to be denied a bank account in the modern day really is a form of oppression. It means being excluded from society. The Psalmist prays to God:
Psa 55:3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.

That neatly sums up the position for Mr Farage, for ‘Our Duty’ and for Christian Voice in 2005. We are all excluded because the woke bankers hate us and our views. We might detest woke policies, but the Bible assures us the feeling is mutual from those who claim to be tolerant and inclusive:
Prov 29:27 An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

To work and freely enjoy the fruits of our labour is the gift of God as the Ecclesiastes readings above and below testify. Denying men their basic God-given right to transact business is a function of an antichrist system, as the Revelation reading below shows us. These are reasons enough for Christian Voice and our members to oppose it in prayer and action.

Costa promotes mutilation as Government delays schools “transgender” guidance

Costa stands accused of a bizarre virtue-signalling stunt with an advert promoting mutilatory double mastectomies in healthy young women.

The coffee firm has used a cartoon image of a “trans man” (ie a woman) with obvious mastectomy scars.

On the Unherd website, Joan Smith described Costa’s trans mastectomy advert as ‘an insult to women.’ She said: ‘The coffee chain is oblivious to the pain it causes troubled young girls’.

Detransitioner Sinead Watson said: ‘There is absolutely nothing glamorous about having your breasts removed. I should know. I only have to look in the mirror to see what a transitioned chest looks like.’

Costa is promoting a medical scandal. The chain now has angry customers threatening a boycott while Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle ludicrously defended it on Julia Hartley-Brewer’s TalkTV show as ‘people making adjustments to their body’, as if a mastectomy is no more serious than a haircut.

God decides who is male and female

The Biblical position is clear. It is God who decides whether we are male or female, not us:
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

The midwife does not ‘assign’ your sex, she simply discerns it:
Luke 1:57 Now Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.

While those who think they know better than the Almighty are cursed by the Word of God:
Isa 45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? 10 Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

The Costa advert is the latest example of the UK establishment’s wholesale rebellion against the Almighty. It shows why the whole edifice of woke law needs to be pulled down in national repentance, so that things begin to go well for all the people of this land, not just confused young women deluded into thinking they are really men:

Trans Guidance delayed

Meanwhile, the government has delayed publishing its “transgender guidance for schools” after its legal advisors concluded it would be in breach of the Equality Act 2010.

According to Sky News, Attorney General Victoria Prentis MP said the Government would have to change the law if it wanted to stop children assuming a different gender in schools.

‘Gender Reassignment’ is a ‘protected characteristic’ under Section 7 of Chapter 1 of Part 2 of the 2010 Act. Click on the link above to see we are not making it up.

The Prime Minister himself admitted that the long-awaited advice for teachers is still being worked on despite previously promising it would be issued before the end of the summer term. That date has now passed.

He is under pressure, say the papers, from ‘some Tory MPs and campaigners; to ensure that the guidance stops schoolchildren changing their names, pronouns, hairstyles, and uniforms to match their preferred gender.

Government lawyers have also raised concerns about proposals to include a free speech defence so that teachers would not be ‘compelled’ to use a pupil’s chosen pronouns.

Change the law

But none of it can be done while the Equality Act stays as it is. So the Attorney General’s observation of amending the law begs the question: Why they are not doing that already? How long have they been in office? Thirteen years?

If the Government are genuinely committed to ensuring the safety of children and resolving the persisting “gender identity crisis” within schools, why is the Government not taking urgent action to change the law now?

It is because, as the Guardian reported more than three months ago, Equalities Secretary Kemi Badenoch is still dithering after asking the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) for advice on the change. And of course the usual suspects, the Stonewalls of this world, feet securely under the government table, are opposing it.

Safeguarding of children has a Biblical precedent in the words of our Lord:
Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

‘Gender Reassignment’ should be banned

We need to be very clear that in anything like a God-fearing society, or even one with common sense, no child should be allowed to set out on the ‘social transitioning’ pathway. Changing pronouns, clothing and toilets leads inexorably to puberty-blocking hormones and mutilatory surgery, which a civilised society would prohibit. If someone has a psychological, emotional or spiritual problem, stopping puberty and cutting off bodily parts is not the way to address it.

Those who are prescribing damaging hormones to children are well described in Scripture:
Job 13:4 But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.

While in the Gospel, our Lord took it as understood that a physician would be nowhere near adolescent boys and girls with absolutely nothing wrong with them:
Matt 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

Teaching in fear

Teachers in schools across the UK appear to be walking on eggshells in matters of “gender identity”. It has significantly affected the way they carry out their jobs, as most teachers get sanctioned for what schools describe as ” falling below teaching standards”.

In May 2023, a Christian teacher was stopped indefinitely from teaching in any sixth-form college or children’s home in England for what they claim to be “misgendering” a pupil.

33-year-old Joshua Sutcliffe was banned from the teaching profession for addressing a girl as a girl. Mr Sutcliffe unapologetically admitted to not using the pupil’s preferred pronouns and plans to appeal the court ruling.

Parents’ duty of care

Guidance on the UK government page says, ‘Parents have the duty to protect their children’s rights until they are old enough to make their own way in the world.

‘Provide the child with food, clothing and a place to live. Also, provide safety, supervision and control amongst other things.’

The emphasis on “old enough to make informed decisions,” and providing supervision/control, as stated above, seems to have become irrelevant in this era of “gender rights and inclusivity.”

Parental consent in matters such as “gender identity” and ‘sex education’ should not be up for debate.

The Bible says,
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.

In a separate case, a court ruled against Christian parents who took a London school to court after it prevented pupils, including her 4-year-old son, from opting out of a school ‘gay pride’ event.

The parents, Izzy and Shane Montague are to appeal their case after the Central London County Court dismissed their claim against their child’s former school, Heavers Farm, for attempting to force him to participate in an “LGBT-themed Pride Parade”. Christian parents, teachers, activists, public servants being cancelled for expressing Biblical views, need their freedom of speech protected. Only national repentance can save this United Kingdom:

Scottish schools

In November 2022, teachers at a Scottish secondary school were ordered to keep gender changes of pupils a secret.

A local paper reported that staff at a West Dunbartonshire high school received an email from the head teacher warning them not to divulge the information of children’s gender decisions.

Teachers at the school also revealed that a growing number of pupils were assuming new identities, with staff and pupils ordered to use new names and pronouns without question.

Our major concern is to let children grow in the way of the Lord, and enjoy their childhood without unnecessary intrusions.

As the Bible puts it,
1 Cor 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

National Trust Quick Vote is ‘Corrupt’

Following Saturday’s National Trust Annual General Meeting held on 5th November 2022 in Bath, Christian Voice today criticises the Trust over a new voting practice we describe as ‘corrupt’.

The National Trust is Britain’s top conservation charity, so its woke posturing and virtue-signalling matters and affects our spiritual and cultural climate. To avoid criticism of its wokeness, this year the National Trust introduced a controversial mechanism known as ‘Quick Vote’ this year. Members voting online were invited to tick the ‘Quick Vote’ box to vote for all the candidates for Council the Trust recommended and against the resolutions it disliked. ‘Quick Vote’ was even presented as ‘Option 1’, ahead of proper voting.

We have now framed a Resolution against Quick Vote for debate and vote at the 2023 AGM. We know our petition against Quick Vote will be voted down, ironically by their use of Quick Vote, but that will make our point even stronger, to the glory of God.

QUICK VOTE USED AGAINST RESOLUTIONS

There were six resolutions in all. They included a policy resolution to stop banking with Barclays and another to pull the Trust back from a tunnel project for the A303 at Stonehenge.

Christian Voice proposed two resolutions, one to cease wilding and wetting projects on Trust farmland, the other to stop the Trust parading in gay pride. The latter topped the yes vote for policy resolutions. But it made no difference with Quick Vote in the mix.

Two management resolutions were proposed by pressure group Restore Trust. They were firstly to appoint an ombudsman for the Trust, and secondly to prevent the chairman skewing the vote on resolutions with ‘discretionary’ members’ proxy votes.

EVERY MEMBERS’ RESOLUTION VOTED DOWN!

But they were behind the curve. Overnight, the Trust had moved the goal-posts. In the event, as the headline over an article in the Daily Telegraph put it, the ‘Annual General Meeting featured (an) unusual moment when every resolution proposed by members was voted down.’

Discretionary proxy votes this year were down by a factor of ten from last year. In 2021 the chairman cast around 20,000 block votes against each resolution the Trust objected to. This year, 2022, that was down to around 2,000. But hiding in the ‘No’ vote were the Quick Votes. The Trust did not disclose the number of Quick Votes. They simply included them in the ‘No’ vote, making it appear as if the resolutions lacked much more popular support than they did.

Based on the figures below, Restore Trust probably won the popular vote on the Chairman’s use of discretionary votes. It is shameful that the National Trust used both discretionary votes and Quick Vote to vote down that very resolution. Furthermore, our resolution on the Trust’s participation in gay pride possibly came close to securing half of the popular vote.

QUICK VOTE SKEWS COUNCIL ELECTIONS

It was worse when it came to the Council Elections. Last year, a candidate needed between 34,402 and 43,536 votes to be elected. This year, however, with Quick Vote tilting the table, the winning candidates secured between 63,771 votes and 72,963.

The Restore Trust candidates scored between 28,205 and 46,612 votes. Not one of them was elected. Under last year’s members-only voting system, at least three, possibly four, would have made it.

Quick Vote appears to have raised the bar for election by an average of almost 30,000 votes.

FULL BREAKDOWN CHALLENGE

Stephen Green, National Director of Christian Voice, proposed the wilding and gay pride resolutions. Today he said:

‘I have already challenged the National Trust to disclose the full breakdown of voting, separating votes cast by ‘Quick Vote’ from those cast in the popular vote in both the Council Elections and the Resolutions. Let’s see if the Trust can follow Biblical principles of honesty and transparency. I remind them:

Matt 10:26b there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

‘Then I call upon the National Trust to declare elected to Council those candidates who took the first seven places in the popular vote alone. Candidates only sneaking in because of Quick Vote lack all credibility and legitimacy.

‘In the past, the Trust Chairman used to cast proxy votes for Council Candidates. The Trust stopped this corrupt practice only very recently. It has now returned, called ‘Quick Vote’ instead.’

A COUNCIL OF YES-MEN

‘Under Quick Vote, if your face doesn’t fit, you won’t be elected to the Council. No outsider need even apply any more. Quick Vote is a stitch-up. And if Council members want to be re-elected, they will know not to rock the boat, because now they must be a ‘recommended candidate’ to secure the Quick Vote.

‘It is clear the Trust have introduced Quick Vote to entrench the status quo. In future, no Members’ Resolution critical of the Trust will ever be passed. The Trust don’t trust the members to vote the right way or elect the correct people to the Council. They are now plainly trying to eliminate dissent and build a Council of time-servers and yes-men. Quick Vote is designed to prevent accountability.’

CHAIRMAN SHOULD BE ASHAMED

‘The new Chairman, René Olivieri, was appointed in a fanfare as a safe pair of hands after the disastrously woke Tim Parker. But Mr Olivieri is entirely culpable for casting every single ‘Quick Vote’ to support the Trust’s establishment line and candidates. Brought in as a breath of fresh air, he has become just as corrupt as the rest of the National Trust Board. René Olivieri should be ashamed of himself.

‘Quick Vote is also now being used by a great many building societies, trying to avoid proper accountability just like the National Trust. The Building Societies Members Association (BSMA) is particularly critical of ‘Quick Vote’. In a list of desired changes, BSMA says: “All underhand practices such as the infamous ‘Quick Vote’ and tick boxes hidden in the small print should be banned”.’

We have today heard from ‘Jo’ in ‘Governance’ who says the Trust won’t disclose the numbers:

‘Following the weekend’s AGM, the Trust will not be issuing any further details in respect of the breakdown of voting.
‘The voting results as published are already broken down into the number of specified votes and the number of discretionary proxy votes cast. Only the discretionary votes are cast by the Chair. Using Quick Vote means members specify how their vote is cast – and these are therefore counted in the specified votes declared in the results.
‘For the avoidance of doubt, the Chair has no rights in respect of casting votes on the Council elections. A discretionary voting option is not available for the elections.
‘There is no governance requirement to break down the results further.’

Indeed the couple of thousand ‘Discretionary’ Proxy Votes were cast at the Chairman’s discretion against all the Resolutions the Trust disliked. But so were the Quick Votes, in much larger numbers, AND they were cast for the Trust’s preferred candidates as well. It is just not true that the members ticking the Quick Vote box ‘specified’ how their votes were to be cast, resolution by resolution, candidate by candidate. They allowed the Trust to vote for them.

This lack of honesty and transparency in revealing the number is worse in its way than how Quick Vote has skewed, not just the resolution voting, but the Council Elections, as one might say, for everyone, for ever (or until it is ditched). This corruption is going to reflect very badly on the National Trust. Not only have they brought in a dishonest voting system, but they won’t even disclose how many votes it was responsible for! On any measure, the whole affair is disgraceful and will be seen as such.

Goering’s Principle

Hermann Goering was LuftReichsmarschall in Nazi Germany, in charge of its air force.

Days before he died, a high-ranking German officer, convicted as a war criminal by the Nuremberg court, laid bare a shocking principle of governance which is still in use by governments worldwide today.

Hermann Goering (in German ‘Göring‘) explained that any unscrupulous state leadership, anywhere in the world, can always secure popular support for a war or an oppressive measure.

The Nuremberg Diary

During the trials, a German-speaking American intelligence officer and psychologist, one Gustave Gilbert, was granted free access by the Allies to the Nazi prisoners held in the jail. Dr. Gilbert kept a journal of his observations of the proceedings and his conversations with the prisoners. He later published these as the book Nuremberg Diary.

On the evening of 18th April 1946 Dr Gilbert spoke to a dejected Reichsmarschal Herman Goering in his cell. Goering was Hitler’s deputy and head of the Luftwaffe during World War II.

The whole conversation is referenced HERE. This is what Gilbert wrote:

‘Drag the people along’

‘We got around to the subject of war again and I said that, contrary to his attitude, I did not think that the common people are very thankful for leaders who bring them war and destruction.

‘“Why, of course, the people don’t want war,” Goering shrugged. “Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally, the common people don’t want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a parliament or a communist dictatorship”.’

“There is one difference,” Gilbert protested, “In a democracy the people have some say in the matter through their elected representatives, and in the United States only Congress can declare wars.”

Goering’s Principle

“Oh, that is all well and good,” replied Goering, “but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country”.

This is Goering’s Principle. It is a profound insight into how governments work, or can work, when politicians forget they are there to serve the people. Even today, Goering’s Principle is being used by our leaders to paint a one-sided picture of the Russia-Ukraine conflict..

Goering’s Principle works well with the Two-Minute Hate of George Orwell’s classic novel ‘1984’. Up on the screen pop images of someone the Party has chosen to be hated. He is connected with Oceania’s enemy Eurasia. The assembled populace scream at the images on the screen.

And so today ‘Putin’ is demonised. Our politicians maintain, and the media repeat, that he is ‘unhinged’, ‘mad’, a ‘tyrant’, intent on war and empire-building, as if the West and NATO, despite Iraq, despite Libya, despite Syria, are peace-loving and non-aggressive. Goering’s Principle does not rely on grace, humility, nuance or seeing both sides of the argument.

Application to Covid

Furthermore, Goering’s Principle does not only apply for dragging the people along to accept a war and to go and fight in it. Let us rephrase it in Covid terms:

‘All you have to do is tell the people they are being attacked by a deadly virus and denounce all who oppose lockdowns, restrictions, masks or vaccines for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country’.

As indeed it did across most of the world except for Africa and India where the lockdown policy came up against the lack of buckets of available money to pay people to sit at home idle. In the UK, Project Fear was dusted off from the coffers of the Remain campiagn in the Brexit referendum to scare us all rigid and browbeat us, as Goering predicted, into accepting measures we never should have done.

Chrstian Voice denounced lockdown as ungodly from day one. But the people, including Christians, believe their leaders. That is what Goering’s Principle relies on, that and the government having access to powerful propaganda arms: newspaper adverts, bus shelters, Twitter, Facebook and the mainstream media. Perhaps the new, upcoming youth-oriented social media platforms can provide an alternative, but it is scarcely enough against the power of the state and its media mouthpieces.

Propaganda continues

Even today, as the Covid and the hysteria retreat in England and dates are set in Scotland, the Welsh Government cannot let go. Here is its latest promoted tweet: ‘The more we keep on doing the right thing, the more we’ll protect each other. Wear a mask, get vaccinated, get tested and self-isolate to protect those around you and Disrupt the Transmission of COVID-19. Together, we’ll Keep Wales Safe.’ Linc Cymru tweeted it as well.

That’s not all. Let us now rephrase Goering’s Principle in NetZero terms:

‘All you have to do is tell the people they are being attacked by greenhouse gases and denounce all who oppose the NetZero agenda for lack of patriotism, lack of care for ‘the planet’ and exposing the country to danger from climate change.’

This too has been employed all over the developed world, nowhere as fanatically as in the UK. And as Goering said, it’s the poor who suffer from all these measures imposed by their leaders while those in power and their friends enrich themselves. It works the same way, as the Reichsmarschal said, in any and every country.
