For the third time, peers are pushing for a ban on under-16s accessing social media, while the Government continues to stall, preferring consultation over action.
The House of Lords is once again set to defy Keir Starmer, not over trivial policy, but over the protection of children.
The result is a now-familiar spectacle: parliamentary “ping-pong,” where legislation is batted back and forth between the Lords and Commons while the clock runs down toward prorogation.
If no agreement is reached before the session ends, the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill will simply fall. Not defeated on principle, just delayed by process.
And in that delay lies the real issue.

John Nash has now proposed a compromise, an Australian-style ban within a year, giving time for implementation while committing to action. Even this measured step is being resisted.
The Government’s position remains that it “may” act, pending consultation. Lord Nash’s amendment would change that to “must.” That single word exposes the heart of the disagreement: obligation versus option.
Peers backing the amendment are not calling for the impossible. They are calling for accountability, requiring social media companies to implement age verification and prevent circumvention.
The evidence is no longer in dispute. Platforms are designed to be compulsive, addictive, and difficult to escape. This is not accidental; it is engineered.
To delay action in the face of such knowledge is not neutrality, it is a decision.

Beyond the procedural delays, a deeper shift is taking place. While Parliament argues over how to regulate children’s access to social media, the broader direction of travel is unmistakable: responsibility is steadily moving away from parents and towards the state.
Under the proposals, local authorities would be required to maintain a register of children not in school, including those educated at home, with powers to request information about a child’s education and welfare. While parental responsibility remains in principle, it is now placed within a framework of formal monitoring and visibility, signalling a clear expansion of the state’s role in areas traditionally left to families.
Instead of reinforcing the role of parents as the primary decision-makers in their children’s lives, the system is building layers of intervention, monitoring, and control. In doing so, it risks sending a quiet but powerful message that parents cannot be trusted to govern their own households, and that the state must increasingly step in to fill that role.
The contrast is difficult to ignore: intervention where it is most urgently needed is slow, yet control over families is being quietly expanded, raising a broader question about where responsibility truly sits.

United States Ruling
Recent developments in the United States are beginning to shift the legal landscape.
In cases such as Anderson v. TikTok, courts have allowed claims to proceed that allege platforms used algorithms to push harmful content to children, contributing to serious mental health impacts.
At the same time, a wider set of claims has been consolidated under Social Media Adolescent Addiction/Personal Injury Products Liability Litigation , where major tech companies face allegations of designing addictive systems that harm young users. While not final rulings on liability, these cases mark a significant step toward holding social media firms accountable for the way their platforms are built.
This is not speculation. It is legal fact. Even Sir Keir Starmer has acknowledged the dangers, speaking strongly about the need to protect children. Yet those words have not translated into decisive legislative action.
Children Exposed to Manipulation
Baroness Hilary Cass has made the situation plain: children are being exposed to manipulation, exploitation, harmful content, and contact from strangers—through systems designed to keep them engaged at all costs. The language used is telling: “compulsive,” “obsessive,” “addictive.” These are not rhetorical flourishes; they reflect how these platforms are built and how they function in practice.
Her warning is not isolated. It sits alongside growing evidence, including legal challenges in the United States and increasing scrutiny of platform design, all pointing to the same conclusion: engagement is not incidental, it is engineered. Meanwhile, representatives from the social media firms this week faced robust questioning from MPs regarding the impact of screen time on young people.
Social media executives told MPs they did not believe their platforms are inherently addictive to children and young people. They argued that a proposed ban on social media for under-16s would be “unenforceable”.
Scripture reminds us that truth, once revealed, demands a response. Ignoring it does not lessen its weight.

Political Hesitation, Moral Consequences
The political reality is shifting. Support for a ban is growing, even within Labour ranks. Abstentions are rising. Quiet dissent is becoming harder to contain.
Yet the Government continues to resist firm commitment. If the Lords pass the amendment again, the Commons may block it again, triggering yet another round of parliamentary deadlock—risking the entire Bill collapsing due to lack of time.
This is not strength. It is hesitation dressed as process. The question is no longer whether action is needed, but whether leaders are willing to take responsibility for it.
Because when legislation fails, it is not Parliament that bears the long-term cost—it is the next generation.
Scripture teaches that those in authority will be held to account for how they govern, particularly in matters of justice and protection.

A Spiritual Issue Disguised as Policy
At its core, this is not just about legislation. It is about stewardship. Children are not commodities to be managed or data points to be harvested. They are lives entrusted to care.
The refusal to act decisively, despite overwhelming evidence, reflects a deeper problem: a culture that prioritises convenience, profit, and political calculation over protection.
The platforms in question are not passive, they shape behaviour, influence identity, and, in many cases, distort reality.
And still, the response is delay.
Scripture repeatedly calls for the protection of the vulnerable and the defence of those who cannot defend themselves. That responsibility does not diminish with complexity—it increases.
When harm is clear and action is possible, inaction becomes a choice. And that choice carries consequences.

One in eight parents now reports their child is disabled
Alarming figures now suggest that as many as one in eight children in Britain are claimed to be disabled by their parents. This includes soaring diagnoses of autism, ADHD, and behavioural conditions.
According to a Government-backed review commissioned by Wes Streeting, the rise in diagnoses does not necessarily reflect a genuine increase in illness. Instead, experts warn that ordinary childhood behaviours and distress are increasingly being “medicalised” and reframed as disorders requiring intervention.
If these figures had not come from official Government data, they could easily be dismissed as an April Fool’s headline. One in eight children now classified as disabled? Millions of young people labelled with conditions that barely registered a generation ago? It sounds absurd, yet it is being presented as reality.
Beneath the statistics lies something far more serious in the spiritual realm: a negative confession both from families and from the system itself. Where someone used to be a bit down, now he is ‘suffering from depression’. Someone concerned about something is now ‘suffering from anxiety’.

What was once considered part of normal development is now too often labelled as pathology. The question must be asked: are children truly becoming more unwell, or is our society redefining normality itself? If so, are welfare schemes such as ‘Personal Independence Payments’, or PIP, to blame?

The Human Cost of Welfare
Picture a young girl struggling, as children often do, with life, school, and emotions, a concerned mother seeking help coupled with a system ready not to strengthen, restore, or equip but rather to diagnose, label, and ultimately declare limitation. In today’s Britain, this is no longer an exception. It is becoming the norm.
Education support worker Mary Gileece wrote about 17 year-old Jane on Daily Sceptic. (Not their real names. And worth reading in full.) Mary noted that Jane has no qualifications, no work experience, no routine, no ambition and, tragically, no expectation that she ever will.
She is not physically incapacitated. She is not beyond help. Yet she is already being sustained by the state as though her future has been settled. What Mary reports is not support, it is surrender. A system designed to help the vulnerable is writing off an entire generation before they have even begun.

The Making of Inactivity
Mary writes that Jane’s decline did not happen overnight. It followed a pattern now becoming all too familiar. After lockdown, she simply stopped going to school. Days turned into weeks, weeks into years—spent largely in her bedroom, scrolling endlessly on her phone.
At age 15, the state intervened. A team of tutors, therapists and social workers was assigned to rebuild her life, five days a week, two hours a day at significant cost and with serious effort. But without a spiritual transformation it is all in vain. After all the effort, Jane still cannot tell the time. She cannot read a bus timetable. She cannot cook, write a CV, or navigate basic daily life.
None of it is because she is incapable. But somewhere along the line, both family and the state accepted that she should not even try and paid her to stay in cultivated helplessness.
At every attempt to build her up, resistance came, not just from the girl alone, but from her mother. Teaching her to tell the time was rejected. Encouraging her to walk to a bus stop was ‘too exhausting’. Cooking was deemed too dangerous: He mother said: ‘She’s no good with hot water’. A CV was ‘Setting her up to fail.’
Personal Indolence Payment
Even basic independence was treated as a threat. The message was clear: Jane must remain incapable. And why? Because the system rewards it. Jane receives £72 a week in PIP. Her mother receives a Carer’s Allowance as of April 2026 set at £86.45 per week. ‘Jane’ and her mum are together receiving over £150 per week, as long as ‘Jane’ stays doing nothing! At no point is Jane being ‘strengthened’ or helped into work:
Ezek 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
For those on PIP, financial stability now depends not on progress, but on permanent limitation. Welfare compassion has been corrupted into dependency. ‘PIP’ could actually stand for ‘Personal Indolence Payment’. Idleness is what we are teaching our children. The scripture can be positive or negative:
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go.
Scripture is clear. The genuine poor are to receive support, and to be strengthened to work. We can confess ‘death and life’ and either bless or curse ourselves and our children. We are not to accept a spirit of fear, but to live in power and love with a sound mind. Working for a living is the gift of God. We are to work quietly, and earn enough to eat our own bread. And if we refuse to work, we don’t eat.
One in eight parents now reports their child is disabled
In December 2025, the Government launched a review into ADHD, autism and mental health services to examine rising demand for services. Experts have now reported on their initial findings.
The authors of the review said: “Historical analyses show that behaviours in children once regarded as within the range of normal variation, or even as something to be welcomed in some contexts, are now more often interpreted as requiring intervention or treatment.”
Adding that there is a “risk that a wide range of difficulties – particularly those arising from social, educational or environmental pressures – may increasingly be interpreted primarily through a medical lens”. Rising rates of diagnosis for ADHD and autism “does not necessarily mean rising prevalence” of the conditions, they added.
“Across both ADHD and autism, best currently available population-based estimates remain relatively stable, while administrative diagnoses, self-identification and recorded service demand have increased substantially. In autism, the evidence also points to particularly rapid growth in identified need within educational systems, including increasing identification among girls and among young people without learning disability.
The Figures
About 12% of children, or around 1.7 million young people, are now apparently living with a long-term illness, disability or impairment, according to fresh figures from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
This has almost doubled since 2015, when roughly 7% of parents said their child had a disability, according to the department’s closely-watched Family Resources Survey (FRS).
It also comes amid a sharp increase in young people being diagnosed with behavioural issues as well as autism and ADHD. Almost two-thirds of children with a disability had a “social” or “behavioural” impairment – by far the most common issue cited by parents, the FRS found.
The figures involved ought to terrify everyone for they either reveal a population riven with ill-health and impairment or one playing the system. Perhaps a National Commission into ‘Physical Deterioration’ similar to the one conducted by Sir Almeric FitzRoy in 1904 into the poor health of Boer War recruits could find out what is causing the professed ill-health of young people. With such staggering levels of illness, there is no hope at all that our country will ever return to growth. But it could all be a complete fiction, financially, emotionally, economically, even spiritually unsustainable as well.
Brits living with a disability
As of February 2026, there are 34.33 million people aged 16+ in employment in the UK, with an employment rate of 75.0% for those aged 16 to 64. While the job market has shown resilience, unemployment has risen slightly over the past year, with 5.1% unemployment recorded in late 2025.
Those working are now supporting approximately 13.2 million state pensioners. Yet they are funding another 16.7 million people, representing a quarter of Britons, who now claim to live with a disability. More women than men claim they have an impairment, though ‘disability’ is more prevalent among boys than girls. Scottish people are more likely to say they are disabled than people living in England or Wales.
The figures show roughly 700,000 of children considered disabled are under 10. More people under 20 are also now in this category than Britons aged over 80. So we ask, who are the working class adults funding this? Should these ‘dreadful illnesses’ destroying Britons not be treated as a national crisis deserving of an immediate inquiry?
’Distress is Real’ Or is it?
Clinical psychologist at University College London and Chair of the Review Professor Peter Fonagy wrote in The Times: “Distress is real. But how we interpret and respond to it is shaped by the systems we have built.
“We need a system that is more proportionate, more responsive and less dependent on diagnosis alone. One that can offer support earlier, in a wider range of settings, and in ways that are aligned to need rather than determined by labels.
“That does not mean abandoning diagnosis. For many people, it remains essential, for understanding, for treatment, for access to support. But it does mean being more precise about what diagnosis is for, and what it is not.”
A Department of Health and Social Care spokesperson said: “The Secretary of State commissioned this independent review precisely because we know too many people are not getting the support they need, and we are committed to building a system that is fair and works for everyone, with a focus on early intervention.
Yet this raises more questions. What if the ‘early intervention’ is itself to blame? What if the crisis is not rooted in widespread illness at all? What if the system is funnelling large numbers of (to be honest) perfectly healthy children who in a bygone age were simply told to pull themselves together into diagnostic categories, enriching a network of private providers, casting a generation on to the scrap heap and impoverishing those whose taxes are demanded to pay for it all?
Only national repentance proclaimed by God-fearing leaders will save our United Kingdom. This welfare scandal is not all that is wrong with Britain. But it is stark enough to make us and those who lead us ‘consider your ways’ and return to the Lord.

Nursery worker who raped toddlers jailed for 24 years
A former paedophile nursery worker has been jailed for 24 years after raping and abusing toddlers in his care at a Bristol childcare facility.
The case raises the question of whether men should be allowed to work in childcare at all. For that matter, why are young women being employed as prison officers in men’s prisons? Is this the same unscriptural woke mindset that forces girls into science and engineering, ‘STEM’ subjects? Is fashionable ‘gender equality’ now putting children’s lives and public safety at risk?

The offender, Nathan Bennett, 30, targeted children aged just two and three at the Partou King Street Nursery, and was found guilty of eight charges including rape, sexual assault, and assault by penetration relating to five victims.
He had previously admitted a further 13 offences, bringing the total scope of his crimes into stark relief, with the court imposing a 24-year sentence alongside an extended licence period of six years.
The offences were described in court as deeply depraved and calculated.
Sentencing at Bristol Crown Court, Judge William Hart delivered a stark moral assessment, describing Bennett as an “incorrigible and dangerous paedophile” with an “uncontrollable and ungovernable” sexual interest in young boys, concluding that his actions were driven by “grossly distorted thinking” and, in his words, “evil.”
Such language is notable in a judicial setting often characterised by restraint, and reflects both the severity of the offences and the deliberate prioritisation of personal gratification over the welfare of defenceless children entrusted to his care.
At the centre of this case lies a difficult reality: the care of very young children is now routinely transferred from the home to institutions.
In these settings, strangers are given prolonged and intimate responsibility over children during their most vulnerable years. For many parents, this is not a choice but a necessity, driven by economic pressure and the demands of modern working life. Yet the system that replaces parental oversight relies heavily on procedures and assumptions of professionalism. As this case shows, those safeguards can fail, and when they do, the consequences are severe.

Meanwhile, evidence presented in court showed that concerns had been raised about the offender’s behaviour months before his arrest. Both staff and parents reportedly expressed unease. However, these warnings were not escalated or acted upon with sufficient urgency.
This points to a wider failure in safeguarding culture. Systems exist, but they depend on people acting decisively. When hesitation, complacency, or fear of getting it wrong takes hold, risk is allowed to grow.
Sentence Does Not Begin to Repair the Harm

In a statement issued by Leigh Day, the law firm representing several of the families involved, they said the sentence “does not begin to repair the harm caused to so many children”.
“We entrusted our children to Partou King Street nursery believing they would be safe, cared for and nurtured,” they said.
“Instead, that trust was catastrophically broken by someone who abused his position in the most unimaginable way.
“Over the months before Bennett’s arrest, a number of parents raised concerns about his behaviour.
“We know concerns were raised to members of staff, we believe those warnings and complaints were not properly followed up or escalated. Had appropriate action been taken sooner, we fear some of the abuse children suffered may have been prevented.”
Public Reaction and Reader Commentary
Reader responses to the case highlight both unease and frustration over how children’s safety is managed. Ryan Brighton wrote on the Telegraph’s comment session:
“In a way I find it sad that any man wanting to work with children is automatically assumed to have malign motives, but I suppose it is much the same with transgender people in women’s bathrooms; not worth the risk.”

“What sort of Nursery Manager would hire a 30-year-old male odd-ball to look after young children? … The hiring manager must have something wrong with her? … Maybe she was a woke liberal nutter, and wanted to tick the diversity box? “I think any grown man who wants to be a nursery teacher, dealing with other people’s small children, often intimately in very personal ways — i.e., toileting them, cleaning them up, changing nappies, etc. — has got something wrong with them. Clearly he was an oddball and should never have been hired. Alarm bells should have been ringing when he applied for the job! Shame on the woke diversity box-ticking oddball hiring manager.”
These comments illustrate a widespread public concern: that hiring practices, oversight failures, and ideological considerations may sometimes compromise the safety of children, underscoring the need for vigilance, discernment, and accountability in all institutions caring for the very young.

Naive Prison Officer Girl 20 Jailed Sex with Inmate

In January 2026, a former prison officer was jailed for engaging in a sexual relationship with an inmate, smuggling drugs and mobile phones into custody, and exposing the identity of an informant.
The offender, Alicia Novas, 20, from Raunds in Northamptonshire, was employed at HMP Five Wells in Wellingborough when the misconduct began. The inmate, Declan Winkless, 31, who was serving an 11-year sentence for conspiracy to commit burglary, also received a sentence of three years and four months, to run consecutively with his existing term.
Ms. Novas had only joined the prison in July 2024, aged 18, following training that emphasised the integrity and professionalism expected of staff. The court heard that she provided her personal telephone number to Mr. Winkless and exchanged almost 3,000 messages with him. The inmate reportedly used four illicit devices during this period and actively pursued the relationship, offering expensive gifts and demonstrating romantic interest.
The case has raised serious concerns about staff oversight and recruitment in custodial environments. It highlights how inexperience, insufficient supervision, and poor safeguards can allow positions of trust to be exploited, putting both the integrity of the prison system and the safety of its staff and inmates at risk.

Women Should Not Be in Men’s Prison
Cherri-Ann Austin-Saddington, a former prison officer who had sex with a convicted rapist up to 40 times while on duty. Telegraph.
Isabelle Dale joined the prison service as a teenager, but within months, she abused her authority in shocking ways. At HMP Coldingley, she swore “undying love” to two inmates and had sex with one in the prison chapel. She later became engaged to him, conspired to smuggle drugs into HMP Swaleside, and even tattooed a prisoner’s street name on her own body.
The judge called Ms. Dale “thoroughly devious, untruthful and manipulative,” concluding she had joined the service intending to commit crimes with inmates. Her actions reveal not only personal immorality but a systemic failure in recruitment, supervision, and staff accountability.
Ms. Dale’s case is far from isolated. In the past year, prison staff including Megann Gibson, Morgan Farr Varney, Katie Evans, and even a prison governor, Kerri Pegg, have been convicted for sexual relationships with inmates. In a notorious incident, officer Linda De Sousa Abreu was filmed having sex with a prisoner in his cell while another inmate watched.
The problem is escalating. From 2017 to 2020, nine women were caught in inappropriate relationships with prisoners. Since 2021, at least 45 cases have been recorded, and investigations into staff misconduct have nearly tripled. These relationships compromise safety, encourage contraband smuggling, and fuel violence.
The recurring pattern exposes deep flaws in the prison system. High-risk positions are entrusted to individuals without sufficient oversight, while the mechanisms designed to prevent abuse are repeatedly bypassed. Until these failures.
What Shall We Then Say?
The cases of Nathan Bennett, Alicia Novas, Isabelle Dale, and other prison staff reveal a troubling pattern of not just systemic failure but abuse of power and trust. Children abused in trusted nurseries, prison officers exploiting inmates, and repeated misconduct in positions of authority expose deep rot in the institutions meant to protect the vulnerable.
These are not isolated lapses; they are symptoms of a society where moral vigilance is weak, oversight is ineffective, and the pursuit of personal gratification often outweighs duty and conscience.
When trust is routinely violated and safeguards fail, the very fabric of our communities is undermined. Innocent lives are harmed, families broken, and public confidence eroded. Such stories compel a sobering reflection: without accountability, discipline, and moral courage, our society is left vulnerable to corruption, abuse, and decay.

According to official figures, home education has more than doubled since the pandemic, with tens of thousands of families withdrawing their children from state schools.
Ofsted’s Chief Inspector has warned that this “surge” risks damaging children’s social development, claiming many parents are acting out of “desperation” rather than conviction.
Labour has responded by proposing tighter regulation of home education, including mandatory registers, increased local authority oversight, and greater powers to intervene in family life. Ministers argue these measures are necessary to safeguard children, ensure consistent standards, and prevent what they describe as “invisible” education outside the state system.
However, many parents dispute the framing of home education as a problem to be solved. Christian families, in particular, point to declining standards, ideological teaching on sex and gender, anti-Christian bias, and a lack of parental consent in schools as key reasons for withdrawing their children. For them, homeschooling is not an act of desperation but a deliberate choice to protect their children’s moral, spiritual, and educational formation.
From a Christian perspective, the state’s increasing hostility towards home education raises serious questions about freedom of conscience, parental authority, and the proper limits of government power.
Swedish Social Services snatched Dominic Johansson when he was seven because his parents were temporarily homeschooling him before they moved to India. Home schooling was at that time legal in Sweden. It isn’t now. Dominic has not seen his parents for nine years to date.
The Children’s Well-being and Schools Bill went through parliament in May 2025. The Bill is perhaps the most brazen assault yet on parental freedom in Britain.
Hidden beneath language of care and protection is a scheme of control. The proposed universal register of children not in school and the state’s power to refuse a family’s request to home educate are clear markers of an institution no longer willing to trust its citizens.
The state’s creeping hand into the realm of home-schooling must be recognised for what it is: a moral affront to the God-ordained order of family and freedom.
The Bible says, Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
The Education Act 1996 says:
Section 7: Duty of parents to secure education of children of compulsory school age.
The parent of every child of compulsory school age shall cause him to receive efficient full-time education suitable—
(a) to his age, ability and aptitude, and
(b) to any special educational needs he may have,
either by regular attendance at school or otherwise.
The 1996 Act and the law in Scotland and Northern Ireland agree with the Bible that it the duty to educate children lies with parents. In the law-book of Deuteronomy, the model nation was told:
Deut 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children.
Ofsted presents itself as a neutral watchdog, yet its leadership and governance reflect the prevailing ideological assumptions of the education establishment. The organisation’s board and senior leadership are drawn largely from secular, state-aligned backgrounds, with little representation from faith communities or homeschooling families. This absence matters, because policy is shaped not only by data but by values.
Ofsted board members regularly speak from a worldview that assumes state schooling is the default and superior model of education. Alternative approaches, particularly those rooted in religious conviction are often treated with suspicion, as though they are deviations requiring correction rather than legitimate expressions of parental responsibility.
This imbalance helps explain why Ofsted is quick to highlight alleged risks of homeschooling, while showing far less urgency about well-documented failures within the state system: collapsing discipline, widespread truancy, ideological confusion, and safeguarding scandals. When oversight bodies lack ideological diversity, scrutiny becomes selective.
For Christian parents, the concern is not merely administrative but moral. Decisions about children’s education are increasingly being made by people who neither share nor respect biblical convictions about truth, authority, and the purpose of education.
Ofsted’s posture towards faith-based education has long been marked by what many Christians describe as institutional arrogance. Christian schools and families are frequently subjected to intense scrutiny, accused of “narrow worldviews” or “lack of inclusivity” simply for holding biblical beliefs on marriage, gender, and morality.
At the same time, secular and progressive ideologies are treated as neutral or even virtuous. This double standard reveals that Ofsted’s concern is not genuinely about children’s welfare, but about enforcing conformity to a particular moral framework, one that increasingly conflicts with Christianity.
By framing homeschooling parents as desperate or irresponsible, Ofsted dismisses the thoughtful, prayerful decisions made by families who see education as discipleship, not just instruction. It ignores the biblical mandate that parents are stewards of their children, accountable first to God, not the state.
The danger is clear: when faith is marginalised and parental authority undermined, the state moves closer to claiming ownership over children’s hearts and minds. History shows that such overreach rarely ends well.

Two decades after the explosion of free, on-demand pornography online, Britain is reaping the bitter harvest.
The first generation to grow up under its shadow is now entering adulthood, and the results are catastrophic. Far from simply sexualising children, pornography has reshaped how they think about love, relationships, and even human worth.
According to research from the Children’s Commissioner, almost half of young people now believe girls expect sex to involve physical aggression, and 42% think girls enjoy such violence. We are raising a generation whose ideas about intimacy come not from parents or Scripture, but from the gutter of the internet.
Yet, as spiked’s article, “How Porn Has Taken Over the Classroom” puts it, this crisis has not been caused by porn alone. Schools themselves, meant to protect and nurture the young, have become unwitting agents of the “pornocracy.”
Teachers, overworked and under-trained are increasingly relying on third-party “sex education” providers for lesson plans and classroom materials. These groups, operating with almost no oversight, are smuggling pro-porn messages into British classrooms.
In 2023, The Times exposed how the educational giant Tes was selling resources for children as young as eleven that discussed anal sex, pornography, and nude selfies. Far from warning children of porn’s dangers, these materials normalised it.
Even worse, resources like “Let’s Talk About Porn,” from South West Grid for Learning told pupils that we “don’t know” whether porn is bad for them — and encouraged them to see it as something that could be part of a “healthy relationship.”
One government-commissioned report, What is Being Taught in Relationships and Sex Education in Our Schools?, revealed that these groups openly promote the idea that “there is nothing inherently wrong with young people seeing pornography.”
Split Banana, one such provider, even encouraged teachers to discuss the merits of “feminist porn” and the importance of “paying for it.”
This is not education, it is indoctrination.
A Death-Wish Among the Elite
No parent demanded this. No manifesto promised it. The imposition of sex education in schools and the subversion of that education by porn-linked activists — was done without public consent. It reflects a deeper rot: a ruling elite that has lost its moral compass and, with it, its instinct for survival.
As Christians, we must call this what it is: rebellion against God’s created order. Scripture is clear that it is parents, not bureaucrats or lobbyists, who bear the duty to teach children right from wrong.
Deuteronomy 6:6–7 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children.
Psalm 34:11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
From the beginning, God’s design for sexuality was holy and life-giving, the union of husband and wife. To tear it from the covenant of marriage, to expose children to its counterfeit forms, is to lead them into harm’s way. Christ Himself gave the most solemn warning.
Luke 17:2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
When Child Protection Turns to Promotion
ChildLine, the advice service run by the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), produced a an article telling children that “porn is fun to watch” and “sexy to enjoy.”
The content even directed its young readers to look up categories such as “BDSM and hardcore”.
Between April 2015 and April 2021, that video was viewed more than three million times, before being taken down following a campaign and petition by the SSA.
That such a video was ever produced by a children’s charity is a shocking sign of how far our culture has fallen. Those charged with guarding the young have instead led them into temptation. The watchmen have slept, and the wolves have entered the fold.
It is no wonder that Christ warned so solemnly:
Matthew 18:6 Whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
The Global Pornocracy
This is not just a British scandal. The same corrupt ideology infects “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE) programs worldwide, as Judy’s article on Plan International shows.
Under the banner of “empowerment” and “inclusion,” CSE promotes sexualisation from primary school onwards. It is a global campaign to normalise sin and desensitise the young.
Pornography’s infiltration of classrooms, from London to Lagos, from Birmingham to Bangkok, shows a coordinated worldview at work. It is not accidental. It is a movement that seeks to erase innocence, break down parental authority, and destroy the biblical view of man and woman.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness.
Christian Witness in a Dark Age
Christian Voice has twice recently witnessed outside major teachers’ conferences in Birmingham, calling for purity, truth, and parental rights. Those actions were not protests alone — they were acts of prophetic witness.
The Church must speak when the schools have lost their way. We are to be the light of the world, not silent observers while the next generation is defiled.
Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
The Failure of Parental Oversight
For too long, parents have been kept in the dark about what is being taught under the name of “sex education.” The RSHE curriculum is often delivered without transparent materials, without parental consent, and sometimes even in secret.
In many cases, when parents ask to see what their children are learning, they are told it is “confidential.” That is not education — it is deceit. Parents are God’s appointed guardians of their children’s hearts and minds.
Ephesians 6:1–2 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother.
Titus 2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children.
Unless Christian parents take back this sacred responsibility, the pornified culture will do it for them — with disastrous consequences.
The Cost to the Soul of the Nation
This issue is not merely about morality, it is about national survival. When a nation abandons purity, it also abandons its future. A society that sexualises its young cannot sustain family life, nor produce stable men and women fit to lead or love.
Britain today is spiritually adrift, its leaders ashamed of the Gospel, its educators ashamed of innocence. That is why the elites’ obsession with “sex education” has become a form of cultural suicide — a death-wish dressed up as progress.
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
A Call to Repentance and Renewal
This moment calls not for despair, but for action rooted in prayer. We must return to the wisdom of God’s Word, to the holiness of marriage, the purity of childhood, and the sacred authority of parents.
Let the Church rise again as a moral conscience for the nation. Let believers refuse to be silent while children are handed over to the porn industry under the cover of “education.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

A school has been forced to remove a “white guilt” novel from its curriculum after backlash from parents.
James Farquharson, 53, accused Budmouth Academy in Dorset of “brainwashing” his 14-year-old daughter, according to The Mail.
This comes after he learned she and other pupils were compelled to read passages form a book that “blames them for their white skin” – and his daughter was forced to read it out loud.

The book, published amid the Black Lives Matter movement in 2017, charts the prejudice shown to a poor 16-year-old African-American girl at an elite, predominantly white private school before her childhood friend is shot and killed by a white police officer. The shooting leads to riots.
53-year-old James, raised concerns that the book “promotes partisan political views” and makes some teenage students feel guilty about being white.
He said: “I found out about this last week when my 14-year-old daughter said she and her peers were having to read [The Hate U Give] out aloud. She felt embarrassed and uncomfortable about it.
“I looked through it and read the first 150 pages and thought ‘really?’.
“It is full of bad language, it normalises sex and drugs, and is centred on identity politics, namely race, which blames her for her white skin.
“It is divisive and is centred on issues of blackness and whiteness,” Mr Farquharson said.
As Mr Farquharson notes on The Telegraph, “The school shouldn’t be addressing political issues with students unless they are going to balance it with the counter-arguments.”
This is the subtlety of modern indoctrination. No longer does ideology come from the pulpit of a party rally, but from the pages of a school reading list. Children are taught not to think critically about race and society, but to accept one-sided narratives that divide them along lines of colour and privilege.
He speaks of “neo-Marxism being slipped into our children’s minds … via fiction”. It is not balanced debate but indoctrination by narrative, teaching that there are “goodies and baddies” defined by skin colour.
“A passage in the novel describes the protagonist being forced to place his hands down the pants of a woman and engage in a sexual act against his will.
“It contains themes and language that one would hope 12-year-old kids wouldn’t be taught in school,” the dad said. “A 12-year-old reading out passages about female masturbation is a massive safeguarding red flag.”
Budmouth Academy responded by announcing that The Hate U Give would be removed from the curriculum.
However, the school said Pigeon English, which is based on the murder of the Peckham schoolboy Damilola Taylor, had been placed under review but would probably remain on the curriculum because it was a prescribed text for GCSE English literature.

“The Seed they Plant”
A Church of England primary school in Essex, parents withdrew a child when a book (My Shadow is Pink) that encourages exploring identity via shadows etc., was introduced. Parents said it promoted “gender confusion.”
Meanwhile, in Kent, parents expressed concern at a CofE primary school for showing children a video based on the book It Feels Good to be Yourself: A Book About Gender Identity, saying it introduced “extreme transgender ideology” without parental consent.
In the US. a reading of “I Am Jazz” was cancelled after parental concerns and pressure from a conservative group at Mount Horeb Primary Center in Wisconsin.
In Scotland, parents protested when Born Ready, a transgender-affirming children’s book, was pushed into primary classrooms. In England, taxpayer money has funded resources on “white privilege” for pupils barely old enough to understand history.
Each case illustrates the same principle: replace wholesome learning with politicised content, and children become the battleground for cultural revolution.
Christians must not remain silent. Just as Nehemiah stood firm against those who mocked and opposed God’s people, so parents today must take their stand to protect the hearts and minds of the next generation.
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
A Call to Watchfulness
Farquharson has written to the headteacher of Budmouth Academy requesting an urgent review of reading materials. He insists he is not calling for censorship, but for age-appropriate content and respect for parental concerns.
The question remains: who shapes the moral compass of our children — parents, or the state?
The Bible is clear: Deuteronomy 6:6-7 These words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children.
Christian parents must be vigilant, discerning what is being taught, and ready to challenge the creeping ideologies that seek to replace biblical truth with guilt, anger, and division. For if we do not guard our children, who will?

Parents’ fury as primary schoolchildren are taught about the 300 different flags of Pride – including an ‘intersex-inclusive’ and another that celebrates polyamory | Daily Mail Online
Children as young as eleven, still navigating the simple wonders of childhood, are being inundated with explicit sexual ideologies under the guise of inclusion and diversity.
A primary school guide, distributed by Swindon and Wiltshire Pride and signposted by the local council, boasts of over 300 ‘LGBT Pride flags’ representing ‘a wide spectrum of sexualities and gender identities’ – far more, they proudly state, than there are national flags in the world.
Far from celebrating human dignity, this approach sexualises children. It is not education but indoctrination and moral confusion. The rainbow flag and its ‘pride offshoots’ is a gateway to sexual deviance. The Bible says education should come not from gay activists but from parents, and should focus not on deviance, but on God’s laws:
Deut 11:19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
The guide—touted as an “inclusive” support resource, includes a bewildering array of flags: from the “intersex-inclusive Pride flag” to the “polyamory flag”, even a “heterosexual Pride flag” designed to affirm straight people—so long as they fit within the transgender ideology.
Among this “small selection” of 29 detailed flags are labels such as demiboy, demigirl, pangender, abrosexual, genderqueer, and others so obscure they seem engineered to bewilder.
The Bible makes a distinction between children and adults: We henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.
Rather than helping children understand the world, this catalogue of sexual and gender identifiers draws them into an adult conversation they are not prepared for—and should not be invited into. It is not clarity, compassion or progress but the deliberate sowing of confusion.
The pride materials don’t stop at labels. They openly reference websites advising on practices such as binding breasts, using cross-sex hormones in under-18s, and “exploring the fetish spectrum”. These are not age-appropriate discussions for children—these are adult matters, rooted in practices historically linked to exploitation and harm.
One mother, a former teacher, was rightly alarmed. “This is encouraging children to think about multiple sexual partners,” she said, referencing the polyamory section. In the so-called “education” part of the guide—intended for students as well as teachers—it unashamedly recommends raising awareness of fetish identities.
Such material is not educational—it is predatory, wrapped in rainbows and platitudes. Christians must call this what it is: a form of grooming by ideology.

Parents who voiced their concerns were met with indifference by the Labour-led local council, which chose instead to platform the Pride guide on social media. One is left asking: ‘Who is responsible for safeguarding children?’ Certainly not those who push sexual ideologies over the voices of concerned mothers and fathers.
The refusal to consult, listen, or act responsibly is an abdication of duty. Christian teaching affirms the role of parents as the primary moral guardians of their children—not the State, not lobby groups, and certainly not charities that normalise fetish culture in school settings.
If our educational structures are not built upon godly foundations, they will collapse under the weight of their own moral incoherence.
The Psalmist warns: Psalm 127:1 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.
Helen Joyce of the human rights group Sex Matters rightly noted that this flag obsession “recruits children into the world of sexual orientation and gender identity”. But Christians must go further: this is not merely inappropriate, it is spiritually and morally destructive.
Children should be protected, cherished, and taught to find their identity not in a spectrum of invented sexual labels.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
The Church must speak out boldly: our children are not experiments. They are not vessels for adult ideologies. They are precious souls, and we must not be silent as they are led astray.
Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
Social campaigner James Esses broke the story, sharing the pictures. But head teacher Kirsty White defended the flags, saying Westmeads is ‘an inclusive school in every sense’. ‘British Values’ have for the Kirsty totally supplanted Christian ethics: ‘We will always celebrate our diverse community through a progressive curriculum representative of British values.’
Chris Cornell, a local Labour councillor, defended the school’s decision, stating: ‘Our town is a very LGBTQ+ inclusive place and this homophobia is awful.’ One can imagine the men of Sodom criticisng ‘this homophobia’ along with Chris Cornell: Gen 19:4 … the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
In fact, they did, complaining about Lot: Gen 19:9 … This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: …
Publishers are promoting gender confusion to tots.
Campaign groups Sex Matters and SEEN in Publishing carried out the first comprehensive report of its kind examining gender ideology in the publishing industry.
Their report found that gender ideology – the belief that being a “woman” can be independent of biological sex – has become “dominant” in the industry. The review concluded that the state of children’s publishing is “particularly concerning”.
It found a “shiny, sparkly world of trans identities” promoted to young readers, with “many aimed at toddlers”. Recent titles aimed at children include ‘Julian is a Mermaid’, ‘Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl?’, and ‘She’s My Dad’. Of 21 publishers surveyed, a fifth of their output on transgender-related products was targeted at children.
This is despite the Cass Report warning of the dangers of the ‘trans pathway’, the UK’s ban on ‘puberty blocker’ hormones and April’s Supreme Court ruling that sex is biological, not based on ‘feelings’.
The report quotes an extract from the book ‘I Am Jazz’, by Jessica Herthel and Jazz Jennings, which states: “From the time she was two years old, Jazz knew that she had a girl’s brain in a boy’s body.
“She loved pink and dressing up as a mermaid and didn’t feel like herself in boy’s clothing. This confused her family, until they took her to a doctor who said that Jazz was transgender and that she was born that way.”
This is propaganda and it should have no place in a civilised nation. Our elites have turned their backs on the Gospel and are intent on leading us all, even small children, slouching to Gomorrah. The words of the Lord Jesus echo to us down the centuries: Mark 1:15 The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

The BBC’s recent exposé on the UK’s forced adoption scandal has brought into the light one of the darkest and most disgraceful chapters in Britain’s post-war social history.
Between the 1940s and the 1970s, thousands of unmarried mothers – many of them young, vulnerable, and without support – were coerced into giving up their babies for adoption.
What should have been a time of love and protection became, for countless women, an experience marked by shame, abandonment, and state-sanctioned cruelty.
What has been uncovered is not simply administrative mishandling, but a cold and calculated campaign to sever the God-given bond between mother and child. Many of these women were held in so-called “mother and baby homes,” often run by religious institutions that, rather than offering refuge and compassion, enforced a harsh moral code that shamed young women into silence.
The accounts are heart-breaking: mothers denied even the chance to hold their newborns, or pressured to sign adoption papers while still in labour or heavily sedated. Families were told their children would be better off elsewhere – often with little regard for their welfare or identity. State complicity, Church compromise
This scandal was not the doing of a few rogue institutions, but a nationwide system of collusion between the state and the Church. Government policies, local authorities, and religious agencies worked hand-in-glove to facilitate forced adoptions, often sealing birth records and severing all links between mother and child. It is now clear that public funds supported a framework that operated more like an ideological machine than a welfare service.
Christian Voice UK has always stood firm that the family – as ordained by God – is sacred and must never be overridden by the state or diluted by social trends. Tragically, this was a time when institutions bearing Christ’s name participated in unholy deeds.
It is not enough to say “we didn’t know.” Those who claimed to serve the vulnerable must answer for how so many were ignored, silenced, and destroyed under their watch.
Denial, delay and global contrast
Britain stands increasingly alone in its failure to acknowledge the truth. Countries such as Australia, Canada, Ireland, Scotland and Wales have all issued formal apologies to the victims of forced adoption. Meanwhile, Westminster remains obstinately silent.
Despite a 2021 Joint Committee on Human Rights report that concluded the state bore clear responsibility, there has been no official apology from the UK government.
The example of Ireland’s Magdalene Laundries or the story of Philomena Lee – whose child was taken and sold abroad – highlight that this is not merely a domestic issue, but a global wound shared by many Western nations. Yet the UK government’s continued refusal to speak the truth or offer repentance sets it apart for all the wrong reasons.
What message does it send to the women still living with these wounds? That their suffering is too inconvenient to address? That bureaucratic inertia is more important than moral restitution?
A hidden medical scandal
To compound this injustice, the BBC has revealed disturbing evidence that women in these homes were often administered drugs such as Diethylstilbestrol (DES) to suppress lactation. These synthetic hormones have since been linked to cancer, reproductive issues, and generational harm. Worse still, many women were not even informed of what they were being given.
The notion that women’s bodies were so casually and callously treated – medicated, silenced, and sidelined – echoes the darkest practices of twentieth-century institutional abuse. The absence of adequate medical records only deepens the injustice, leaving many still unsure of the long-term health consequences they may yet face.
A growing movement for justice
Despite the state’s foot-dragging, courageous campaigners have continued to speak up. Groups like Mothers for Justice and the Movement for an Adoption Apology (MAA) have worked tirelessly to demand recognition, redress, and reform. Their stories – of stolen children, broken silence, and unhealed grief – are slowly but surely changing the narrative.
In 2024, the unveiling of the UK’s first public monument to victims of forced adoption in Cornwall was a historic moment. But this grassroots effort only underscores the silence at the national level. Why must grieving mothers erect their own memorials while the government offers none?
These campaigners are not asking for riches – they are asking for truth, healing, and dignity. Their cause is righteous, and the government’s delay is disgraceful.
Repentance is not optional
Scripture tells us that “ (). The time for bureaucratic hesitation is over. Britain must repent — not with vague regrets or muted reviews — but with a clear, public, and heartfelt apology.
The Bible says,
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Anything less is not injustice — it is rebellion against the truth of God’s design for the family. Forgiveness, healing, and restoration are only possible through repentance. That repentance must begin in Parliament, in the Church, and in the hearts of those who enabled this cruelty.
Let it not be said that our nation chose silence over sorrow, delay over dignity, or pride over repentance.

A three-year-old child has been suspended from a nursery for alleged ‘transphobia’ or ‘homophobia.’ Let that sink in.
A toddler barely able to form full sentences,has been accused of discriminating against an ideology they cannot possibly comprehend. The absurdity of this cannot be overstated.
Department for Education (DfE) statistics reveal that 94 primary school pupils faced suspension or expulsion for similar allegations in the 2022-23 academic year, including ten Year One pupils and three in Year Two, the eldest of whom were merely seven. This isn’t just madness, it is an ideological crusade against innocence.
This is not an isolated case. We have seen the same zealotry in action before, a six-year-old in Scotland interrogated for refusing to use ‘preferred pronouns’ and a ten-year-old in England punished for writing that ‘boys are boys and girls are girls.’ Schools have ceased to be places of education; they are now re-education camps for radical ideology.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Teachers and governors- have they lost their minds?
What on earth is happening to teachers and school governors? Have they completely lost touch with reality?
Is it the endless ‘inclusivity’ and ‘diversity’ courses they are forced to attend? Have they been so indoctrinated by radical activism that they now see children as ideological enemies?
We have seen teachers dismissing pupils for questioning transgender ideology, governors sacking staff for standing up for Christian beliefs, and entire schools collapsing under the weight of their own ideological contradictions.
Who benefits from this insanity? Certainly not the children, whose early education is being traumatically disrupted.
Helen Joyce of Sex Matters rightly condemned this disgrace, saying: “Teachers and school leaders involved in this insanity should be ashamed of themselves for projecting adult concepts onto young children.” Yet they are not ashamed. They are doubling down.

G.K. Chesterton famously said, “When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing, they then become capable of believing in anything.” This is precisely what we are witnessing: adults who have abandoned biblical truth are now willing to believe and enforce the most ridiculous ideas, even to the detriment of children.
The legal requirement for a daily act of Christian worship in state schools is routinely ignored. Humanists have long campaigned against it, and we see the results: a godless system that teaches children not to believe in nothing, but to believe in everything except the truth.
Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
More and more parents are turning to home-schooling, and who can blame them? When schools suspend toddlers for ‘wrongthink,’ when teachers preach gender ideology instead of phonics, when children are punished for adhering to basic biology, parents have no choice but to take back control of their children’s education.
The government, of course, is panicking. It is considering the Children’s Well-being and Schools Bill,’ which aims to increase oversight of home education. The possibility of a ‘register’ of home-schooled children looms large, likely to be used as a tool for state interference.
Will backbenchers sneak in an amendment that further clamps down on parental freedom? That remains to be seen, but the trend is clear: the state is desperate to keep control over children’s minds.

Five-year-olds expelled for violence—a convenient excuse?
The same authorities suspending toddlers for ‘transphobia’ are also expelling five-year-olds for ‘violence’ against teachers. But what does ‘violence’ mean in this context? A tantrum? A thrown toy? A refusal to obey? This vague, overreaching definition serves a dual purpose: to justify removing ‘difficult’ children from the system and to fuel the narrative of ‘toxic masculinity’ even in infancy.
We saw similar absurdities in 2018 when a four-year-old boy was labelled a ‘sexual threat’ for hugging a teacher. In another case, a six-year-old was expelled for calling his classmate a ‘she’ instead of ‘they.’
It is clear that modern schools are no longer fit for purpose. They are not educating; they are indoctrinating.

A nation’s madness
Picture the scene: The Education Secretary, flanked by the Schools Minister and the soon-to-be Baroness former head of Ofsted, standing at a press conference, solemnly discussing the latest initiative to ensure “inclusive” education.
Meanwhile, in a brightly coloured nursery classroom, a bewildered three-year-old clutches their toy dinosaur, blissfully unaware that they are about to be exiled for supposed “transphobia.” The headteacher, holding an Equality and Diversity handbook, delivers the verdict: “We take discrimination seriously.” The child, whose crime may have been an innocent remark or a refusal to play make-believe under ideological demands is cast out, one of the youngest casualties of a system gone mad.
This, of course, took place just weeks after another February drenched in ideological fanaticism, as schools across Britain observed LGBT History Month with the usual fervour. Assemblies were held, lessons were rewritten, and small children were subjected to lectures on gender identity before they could even master their times tables. Parents who dared to question the content were dismissed as bigots, while teachers who expressed concern were silenced.
The battle for our children’s future
This is not just a battle for common sense. It is a battle for truth itself. If the state can dictate ideology to a three-year-old, then no one is safe. If teachers can expel children for questioning lies, then our society is on the brink of collapse.
It is time for parents to push back. To demand accountability. To insist that schools return to education rather than indoctrination. To resist attempts by government to register and regulate home-schooling into oblivion.
The enemy of truth has captured our institutions. If we do not reclaim them now, we may soon find that we have lost an entire generation.

The Government have announced their intention to stop schools giving sex education to children under nine.
Teachers will also have to tell pupils gender ideology is a contested belief.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the new guidance would ensure children were not ‘exposed to disturbing content’.
Education Secretary Gillian Keegan told BBC Breakfast: ‘Biological sex is the basis of relationship, sex and health education – not these contested views’.
A ship adrift
However, Education Secretary Gillian Keegan has just said men who ‘transition to women’ are considered women.
Previously, Ms. Keegan stated that she would no longer say that ‘trans women are women’, adding that her stance had since evolved. However, in an interview with Radio 4’s Today program, she again said that it hinges on whether the individual identifies as the opposite sex or has obtained a gender reassignment certificate.
Ms Keegan said: ‘In the first instance, that person was not a woman, but in the second the person was, if only in a legal sense’.
Asked if she would say that people who had gone through gender reassignment were women, she said: ‘Well, this is what we should say. I personally believe if you have gone to that level of, you have got the gender recognition, you have got the reassignment, then you are legally and medically allowed to say that you are a woman’.
Gillian is like a ship adrift, with no anchor.

Meanwhile, more Scottish parents are choosing homeschooling due to concerns about classroom violence, declining education quality, and what they see as excessive promotion of ‘LGBT’ issues in schools.
The Department for Education’s latest guidance acknowledges the risk posed by gender ideologies to children.
Teachers are advised against presenting disputed views as facts, including the idea of gender as a spectrum.
It also recognises that teaching children to question their gender could lead to unnecessary confusion.
The Cass Review highlighted the serious risks associated with ‘transitioning’ for children’s health and well-being.
These concepts should never have been part of RSHE classes.
Unable to define a woman?
John Swinney, Scotland’s new First Minister
John Swinney, Scotland’s new First Minister, has faced criticism for his handling of questions about whether he considers ‘trans women’ to be women.
Initially, he defined a woman as ‘an adult female born as a woman’, leading feminists to argue they are born as girls.
Mr. Swinney later stated, ‘I also accept that transgender women are defined as women’, without specifying the source of this definition. Despite his assurance that his government won’t endanger the safety of women and girls, feminist leaders found his response misleading and confusing.
Some critics accused him of playing word games reminiscent of Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ to avoid giving a clear answer.
This controversy arose after Swinney previously dodged the same question, drawing criticism from JK Rowling for his evasive tactics.
It is not unreasonable to ask why there’s suddenly so much concern.The Conservative Party has been in power for fourteen years.
Rishi Sunak now voices worries about what children, the same age as his daughters, might be learning in schools. Has this realisation just dawned on him?
Why target children under nine, leaving primary schools to confront older students with overly explicit material?
The Bible says, Prov 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Deuteronomy 6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Furthermore, why focus solely on sex education when propaganda and indoctrination creep in through relationship education? Why permit teachers to promote gender ideology at all? Why not simply declare it false and prohibit it? Why offer ‘guidance’ that schools can disregard, instead of enacting laws to enforce it?
Meanwhile, it wasn’t until the Cass Report that Gillian Keegan had a realisation and recognised the biological reality of male and female.
Additionally, why have they not yet repealed the Gender Recognition Act of 2004 and the Equality Act of 2010?
Lawmakers serve as gate keepers of this country. Therefore it is imperative they reflect on their arrogance and ignorance, humbly seeking the wisdom of the Lord.
Moreso, it is time to enact laws that align with God’s principles, instead of endangering children and the British people in pursuit of woke ideologies.

A Muslim pupil at a London school has lost a High Court challenge against its ban on prayer rituals. But in a nation slowly turning demographically Muslim, how long can that ruling endure?
The girl wanted permission for Muslim children to pray en masse in the school’s yard.
Last year, until the ban, the court heard up to 30 children were praying using blazers to kneel on. She argued the ban was discriminatory.
The Bible says: Prov 18:17 The first in his own cause seems just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.
In its own evidence, Michaela Community School in Wembley told the High Court that ‘allowing prayer rituals risked ‘undermining inclusion’ among pupils.’
The school argued its prayer policy was justified after it faced death and bomb threats linked to religious observance on site. It told the court of concerns about a ‘culture shift’ towards ‘segregation between religious groups and intimidation within the group of Muslim pupils’.
There is no legal requirement for schools to allow pupils a time or a place to pray. Michaela is a non-faith state secondary free school, independent of the local authority, but around half the school’s roughly 700 pupils are Muslim. In Britain as a whole it’s 8% and rising. The 6.5% of Muslims in the UK population are having more children than the rest.
The judgment
Mr Justice Linden gave an 83-page written judgement dismissing the student’s case. In it, he said, ‘The claimant at the very least impliedly accepted, when she enrolled at the school, that she would be subject to restrictions on her ability to manifest her religion.’
Indeed, pupils at Michaela are not allowed to gather anywhere in groups of more than four.
They must focus on teachers during lessons, stay silent in corridors, and observe restrictions on uniforms.
The school is often referred to a Britain’s strictest school. It is rated as outstanding by Ofsted.
Dismissing the student’s case, His Honour said: ‘She knew that the school is secular and her own evidence is that her mother wished her to go there because it was known to be strict.
‘She herself says that, long before the prayer ritual policy was introduced, she and her friends believed that prayer was not permitted at school and she therefore made up for missed prayers when she got home.’
Islam requires prayers at specific times of the day, but also allows for ‘Qada’ or ‘make-up’ prayer for any that have been missed. The court heard Muslim pupils were already doing that.
Yet Sarah Hannett KC, representing the girl, argued that the school’s policy had the ‘practical effect of only preventing Muslims from praying, because their prayer by nature has a ritualised nature rather than being internal.’
Islam is indeed a religion of outward show, a religion of ‘works’, as we say.

The free school’s founder and head teacher Katharine Birbalsingh, said the ruling was a ‘victory for all schools’.
‘If parents do not like what Michaela is, they do not need to send their children to us,’ she said. We say if people do not like the UK’s Christian faith, they do not need to come here.
Meanwhile, the ruling pleased the National Secular Society (NSS) and Humanists UK. NSS said, ‘We are educators, politicians, religious leaders, academics and other individuals and representatives of organisations working across British society.
‘While our views on the merits or otherwise of faith schools are varied, where we do agree is that regardless of their religious character our state schools should be open, inclusive, and diverse.’
The Humanists UK, and the National Secular Society both say faith have no place in school. However, they mean apart from their own, secularist faith, of course.
We say schools in our constitutionally-Christian nation should celebrate and follow the Christian faith.
Education Secretary Gillian Keegan said, ‘I have always been clear that headteachers are best placed to make decisions in their school.
‘Michaela is an outstanding school, and I hope this judgment gives all school leaders the confidence to make the right decisions for their pupils.’
Ms Keegan recently issued guidance that schools should not allow pupils to change sex, or gender. However, she refuses to legislate to that effect, and appears powerless when head teachers ‘make a decision’ as she might say, to ignore it.
Which way forward?
The court judgment is a good outcome, but one which still raises questions about the direction our nation is moving in. Not least, we could wonder how long the establishment can maintain its current secular spiritual vacuum against the relentless rise of Islam if they refuse to return the United Kingdom to our Christian heritage and confess, as the Apostle puts it: Php 2:11b that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Members of Parliament (MPs) have debated petitions regarding “LGBT” content in relationships education.
MPs from all parties took part in the debate on 18th March.
The Government responded to the petition in January 2023, but it took over a year for MPS to debate it.
The petitions debated:
MPs debated two petitions—one calling for the removal of “LGBT” content from the Relationships Education curriculum (RE), and the other advocating to retain “LGBT” content in the education system.
This petition to remove “LGBT” content from the RE curriculum garnered more than 249,000 signatures, and states: ‘We believe kids shouldn’t learn about this at an early age. I am sure there are many parents who do not want their or other children taught about LGBT in primary school’.
Meanwhile, the opposing petition with more than 104,000 signatures, argues that children should learn about sodomy at an early age, concluding: ‘Kids should know … Despite what their parents might believe.’

During the debate, Elliot Colburn, the homosexual MP for Carshalton and Wallington, said; ‘The Government’s RSE guidance of 2019 advises schools to plan a developmental and age-appropriate curriculum. Relationships education is therefore approached in ways that are relevant to the age and maturity of the pupils. For example, teaching about “Families and people who care for me” in primary school can be an opportunity to talk about the fact that some people have “two dads and some have two mums.”
‘Key messages taught throughout relationships education include that people do not have to conform to narrow stereotypes and that discrimination, bullying and prejudice are harmful and wrong. Indeed, that principle is woven throughout the British values element of school teaching,
‘The aim of which is to encourage and foster respect, kindness, equality and inclusion. Those are British values: they are intrinsic to the ethos of most schools, and families are supportive of them.
‘Primary schools are not required to teach sex education or explicitly teach about “LGBT” issues; it is more about families and relationships. Parents also have the right to withdraw their child from the sex education part of RSE up to the age of 16.’

Conservative MP for Morley and Outwood, Dame Andrea Jenkyns, said: ‘As the mother of a primary-age schoolchild, I do not want him or other children, straight or gay, to learn about sex full stop. I also do not want young children in primary school to be taught about changing gender.
‘I have no problem with whatever people want to do when they are older—life is short; be happy—but does my hon. Friend agree that we need to protect the innocence of children and their childhood, especially at primary school age?’
Meanwhile, Adam Holloway, Conservative MP for Gravesham, said: ‘Because the long-term emotional consequences of transition are not properly understood, we should be careful about teaching contested concepts to young, impressionable children.
We would not be doing right by the majority of parents if we failed to acknowledge that the idea that sex is ‘assigned at birth’ is not a universally held view, but the complexities of explaining that to children aged 11 or under are pretty obvious.
‘I also struggle to see how that issue could be taught honestly and objectively without explaining that there may be other reasons why a person feels uncomfortable about themselves or their body. Teaching that to primary-aged children is clearly hugely problematic.
‘Instinctively, for those reasons, I feel that the complex issue of transgender ideology has no real place on the primary school curriculum.’
MP for Don Valley, Nick Fletcher, said: ‘ Currently, up and down the country, we have schools teaching our children that girls can be boys and boys can be girls. It is hard to believe.
‘If we told our children that two plus two equals five enough times throughout their education, would we be surprised if some — not all but some — started to believe it?’
The Minister for Schools, Damian Hinds, said: ‘Guidance is clear that it is for schools to decide at what point in their pupils’ education it is appropriate to cover content related to “LGBT.”
‘That means that primary schools have discretion over whether to discuss sexual orientation or families that have same-sex parents.
‘The RHSE guidance does not provide a definition of what relationships and sex education should include, but it is clear that it should be “tailored to the age and the physical and emotional maturity of the pupils. It should ensure that both boys and girls are prepared for the changes that adolescence brings”.
‘Primary schools that do teach sex education must set out the details of what they will teach in their relationships and sex education policy, on which they must consult in advance with parents.’
‘Secondary schools should provide an equal opportunity to explore the features of stable and healthy same-sex relationships, and ensure the content is integrated throughout the relationships and sex education curriculum.’
Can we really ‘trust our teachers’?
Mr Hinds concluded: ‘We trust our teachers to deliver this content in a suitable and age-appropriate way, respecting the beliefs and values of all pupils in the school.’
There is a problem in ‘trusting our teachers’, which the government fails to see. If teachers are not themselves trans ideologues, they are working in an environment which is.
In the latest scandal, a teacher in Nottinghamshire was sacked for refusing to use an eight-year-old’s preferred pronouns and raising safeguarding issues over the child. The tribunal hearing the case has only just recused itself after one of its members was caught insulting Conservatives and saying only atheists should be in public office. Christian Concern are supporting the teacher, known only as ‘Hannah’.
If certain godless MPs and peers have their way, for a teacher, a parent or a church minister to raise such concerns would be against the law. That is why we invite you to sign our petition to protect freedom to speak to, advise and pray with people affected:
In October 2023, Secretary of State for Education, Gillian Keegan, wrote to parents regarding their rights to know what children are being taught in schools.
She wrote: ‘You may be aware of concerns about inappropriate materials being used in some cases to teach relationships, sex and health education (RSHE) in schools and parents who have had difficulty accessing these materials.
‘This Government is clear that this is not acceptable. You have a fundamental right to know what your children are being taught about healthy relationships, sex and development in school.
‘So, today I have acted by writing to schools, making it clear that as parents you should always be able to see the materials that are being used to teach your children. To place this right beyond any further doubt, my letter clarifies that copyright restrictions do not prevent you from seeing materials that are being used in the classroom.
‘I am clear that schools must share worksheets, presentations, or other content used in lessons with parents when asked to do so. This is regardless of what a school’s contract with the organisation that provided the materials might say.’
Nevertheless, schools can ignore the advice and once more, the Government seem not to be spurred to action to make their advice statutory.
Sodomy part of education?
In March 2023, head of the schools regulator, Ofsted, warned that some sex education lessons are not based on reputable scientific explanations.
Amanda Spielman, Ofsted’s boss, told the Telegraph that she had alerted the Government about the lack of limits in the current relationships and sex education (RSE) guidance.
She cautioned that Ofsted currently lacks the authority to penalise schools teaching inappropriate material.
Meanwhile, in some secondary schools, pupils were being taught that there are 100 genders, and ‘gender fluidity’ is presented as fact in some major academy trusts and independent schools.
A dossier of evidence gathered by Conservative MP Miriam Cates was presented to Rishi Sunak, which led to the Prime Minister ordering a review of the Department for Education’s (DfE) RSE guidance. The Bible says children should be taught according to the laws of God:

(Video Transcript:) I was going to spare you any comment on the Scarlet Blake / Fangze Wang affair, which is on our website anyway, but it’s still drawing comment, with the BBC’s Samira Ahmed agonising about it on Newswatch last Saturday morning (2nd March 2024).
But an earlier piece on Saturday’s BBC news, where presenter Naga Munchetty interviewed MP Tobias Ellwood about threats to MPs without either of them once telling viewers where the threats were actually coming from, tipped the balance.
Questioning Reality
The media / political complex are manipulating us into doubting our own sanity, into questioning reality, into believing their absurdities. Well, you’ll only get the truth here, so let me show you how it works with half-a-dozen examples. Then we’ll see what to do about it.
We’ll start with Covid, where they pretended we were all equally at risk, that bacterial handwash and crude masks could stop an air-borne virus, that experimental gene-therapies were safe, fully-tested good honest vaccines. The Bible tells us there can be such people as ‘physicians of no value’. (Find all our Bible references below.) See: ‘Lockdown a failed experiment’
They do it on abortion. Not even pro-life MPs want to rock the boat by asking their pro-abortion colleagues what exactly is that in the womb? Is that a human being? Was the psalmist right to say ‘thou hast covered ME in my mother’s womb’ or not?
They are doing it over Russia / Ukraine, repeating that the Russians and ‘Putin’ are totally evil while Ukraine, Mr Zelensky, NATO, the US and the EU are as pure as the driven snow, so Mr Sunak can quietly send billions of pounds of your money to fight his proxy war and enrich his pals in the arms firms. People trot out lines they have learnt from the BBC forgetting the psalmist said: ‘I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.’
They are doing it, as I saw on Saturday morning (2nd March 2024), over Islam, much preferring to talk about Lee Anderson’s supposed ‘Islamophobia’ than admit the threats to MPs are coming from pro-Hamas Muslims and their leftist friends, from Islamists, in other words.
They pretend there is nothing wrong with mass Muslim migration and that they can replace our Christian constitution with multiculturalism.
You have Rishi Sunak claiming the UK is ‘the world’s most successful … multi-faith democracy’. Well did the prophet say: ‘truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.’
They let the education establishment get away with doing it over RSE, pretending they can show what amounts to pornography to children, lying that it is ‘age-appropriate’.
They’re also gaslighting YOUR children into believing it’s just fine to be promiscuous or homosexual and perfectly normal for a girl to decide she is actually a boy and be given life-changing drugs and mutilatory surgery, despite the Lord Jesus saying ‘They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.’
Which leads us finally to Fangze Wang, a deranged man who prefers to be called Scarlet Blake and pretend he is a woman, with Police, CPS, the judge and journalists colluding in his self-deception, hoping YOU won’t notice the one THEY are calling a woman is really a man. The Lord Jesus himself said God created us male and female, not ourselves.
It’s gaslighting built on absurdity. So what to do about it? Firstly, make sure YOU are rooted in the truth of both his word and current events. We’ll help you by looking behind the scenes and telling it as it is both here (our Youtube channel) and on our website so you can pray informed prayers.
Pray the Lord will raise up God-fearing men, change the hearts of the king’s ministers or replace them with men after his own heart. Pray for them to be what the Bible calls ‘able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness.’ Let’s be fully aware a general election is coming, and of what the opinion polls say, but let us never forget God does miracles. We’ll be saying, ‘this is the Lord’s doing and it is marvellous in our eyes.’

A dispute has emerged over the funeral arrangements of a 15-year-old boy who reportedly committed suicide on the 4th of January in Glengarnock, Scotland.
The boy, identified as Quinton Isaac, passed away under the care of foster parents, Neil and James Smith.
According to birth mother, Maria Mutadiua, she has been denied access to the funeral proceedings on the request of Samantha her 18-year-old daughter, who has also been under the care of the Smiths since she was four years old.
A council spokeswoman for Glasgow city said: ‘It is not for Social Work to decide who can or can’t attend a funeral.’
The HSCP referred to the Burial and Cremation (Scotland) Act 2016 which stipulates that without an arrangement on death declaration, the nearest relative can arrange for burial or cremation. ‘In this instance HSCP claims that Neil and James Smith have parental rights and responsibility for Quinton.
‘The spokesperson for social service in the Drumchapel area, told Christian Voice, ‘What happened to Quinton is quite unfortunate, and the service is doing everything possible to support Maria at this time.’
‘ Unfortunately, it is not our place to grant or deny access to funeral. But we will continue to offer support in any way we can.
Maria Mutadiua, told Christian Voice, ‘ I was devastated, confused and almost lost my mind when the police called me about Quinton. After taking my son away from me with no intentions to give him back despite all my efforts for 12 years, the one phone call from them about my son is to tell me he is gone?

‘ I see no reason why i can not have a say as to how my son should be buried, and most importantly being denied access to say goodbye.
‘Neil and James are only foster parents, not adopted parents’.
Ms Mutadiua alleges that Neil and James Smith, are behind the decision to exclude her from the funeral, as her daughter can not act alone. She also alleged that her son died of neglect and abandonment.
‘They abandoned my son during the holidays with strangers to God knows where. My son died without experiencing his mother’s love. I was also told my boy had been trying to commit suicide from the age of twelve. why am i just finding out’?
‘From the suicide note Quinton left behind, it shows that all ‘he wanted was true love, and he did not get it from the Smith’s’.
Maria acknowledged the efforts of the police and social services but has called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading up to her son’s death. She is seeking answers as to why social services took her children away from her in the first place. It is difficult to believe that a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old are capable of making decisions not to come back home, Ms Mutadiua added.
“Maria has not directly contacted us”
Meanwhile, Foster parents Neil and James, told Christian Voice that they were not in the best frame of mind to speak on the matter, expressing profound sadness over the news of Quinton’s passing.
‘He was our son and we loved him dearly. All we can say is that Maria had the chance to take flowers to the Morgue and identified his body. How is it possible that we would say no to her attending the funeral?
‘We have seen and read the lies written about us on social media. Unfortunately, Maria has not directly contacted us about this funeral’, they added.
In the meantime, a social media post made by James Smith announces that Late Quinton will be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 23rd. According to the post, everyone is welcome to attend the proceeding. However, given the recommendations by authorities involved, it is still unclear if Maria can attend.
Injustice to motherhood?

Spokesperson for Josephine Oboh-Macleod (JOM) Charity SCIO, Mabel Oboh said, ‘ It is a great injustice to motherhood for any biological mother to be denied access to the funeral of her child.
‘They have told us it is Samantha’s wish that Maria does not attend the funeral, but we want the police, social services and carers to tell us where under the law it says a sibling has the right over a parent.
‘This does not make sense, and that’s why we began a campaign to get justice for Mutadiua. No one wakes up one day and decides to commit suicide. We demand answers.
‘They also said that JOM Charity should stop the ongoing petition for justice for Maria. But Oboh Macleod requested that they write a letter to that effect. The Police has said that their investigation is ongoing as to the cause of death’, She added.
‘As a charity organisation in Scotland, and with the authority to represent Maria on humanitarian grounds, we are advocating for Maria and her other children to be granted the opportunity to pay their last respects’.
Ms. Oboh added that Quinton and Samantha were taken away by social services at the age of two, and four despite lack of reasons involving neglect or abuse or Maria’s consent.
Same sex couples fostering children?
Christian Voice has always maintained that God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Therefore the idea of allowing two men act as parents in the first place is completely against the word of God.
The Bible says, Genesis 2:23-24 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man…Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
In July 2020, a judge ruled that an evangelical Christian fostering service must allow gay parents to sign up as carers. Cornerstone expressed that it would “prayerfully” reflect on the court’s findings.
This followed a 2019 inspection, where Ofsted downgraded Cornerstone from a “good” to a “requires improvement” rating, citing concerns about the charity’s carer recruitment policies.
Mr. Justice Julian Knowles acknowledged the fostering service’s legal allowance to recruit based on its religious ethos. However, he deemed the policy requiring “applicants to refrain from homosexual conduct” as unlawful.
Christians forced to accept sodomy?

In 2011, a Christian couple, Eunice and Owen Johns, lost their high court claim asserting that they faced discrimination from a local authority for maintaining their right to express to young foster children that homosexuality is morally wrong.
In their sixties and with a history of fostering, the Johns contended that Derby City Council discriminated against them due to their Christian beliefs when they declined to affirm the acceptability of a “homosexual lifestyle” to a child.
In a judgement, Lord Justice Munby and Justice Beatson dismissed the claims put forth by the couple’s lawyer, deeming them “a travesty of reality.”

A Christian family need your prayers. Their third baby was born on 2nd August 2023 at a UK hospital. Having seen stuff online, they expressed reservations about the neo-natal childhood Hepatitis vaccine due to be given to baby at 8weeks. VACCINE POLICY AND SCHEDULES HERE.
Rather than sit down with them and go through it all, the doctors called Social Services who took their baby into care with a judge making an interim order to that effect last week.
They now have a top Christian barrister representing them at a hearing tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday 16th August 2023. In the meantime they have changed their position and are willing for baby to have the hexavalent vaccine. Please pray the judge orders SS to return the baby to them. Here’s a rather unpleasant twist: The mother has been expressing her milk in order to continue breastfeeding when baby is returned. But when SS allowed the couple to see their baby Friday last week, they refused to allow her to breastfeed. How cruel is that?

The UK government is set to face a lawsuit for allowing children as young as five be taught age- inappropriate topics in Relationships and Sex Education (RSE).
Equality/ Human Rights lawyer Dr Anna Loutfi, of the Bad Law Project and families of some of the children concerned (which is almost all of them!) have come together to file a class action lawsuit against the Department for Education of the UK government.
They are calling for Personal Social Health and Education (PSHE), which RSE comes under, to be abolished from schools and for parents to have the right to withdraw their children from lessons dealing with sex, health and relationships.
Speaking on GBNews, Dr Anna Loutfi said, ‘The problem is not teaching children in schools, but the issue is rogue actors posing as charities otherwise known as the third sector and these organisations are completely unregulated.
‘They produce the materials. Sometimes they are produced outside the national jurisdiction. For example, we found certain local education authorities using materials that have been taken from the United States of America, and there is no oversight on the content of these materials. Advocacy groups are picking their own ideas of what they think is okay for children to know. Parents are not allowed to be part of the discussion’, she said.

Dr Loutfi added that ‘Thanks to the third sector, we have lost control of regulation, in the same manner we would do if there had been a military coup, and we had a Junter taking control of the schools. We are not allowed to have conversations about what these materials are for.
‘ As a nation, we have lost any discernment of what age groups are suitable for certain kinds of materials. As a country and a society, we have to be discerning about what we embrace, encourage, and what we don’t.’
Unlawful to teach gender ideology and identity as fact
The Education Act 1996 is explicit that the promotion of any idea that is contentious is unlawful. By promotion, the statute maintains that contentions ideas cannot be presented as if it is the only version available in that area. It has to be a dispassionate, fair, and non-partisan presentation of the fact.
Even Section 56 (sub 403) of the Education Act 1996 states that the Secretary of State must issue guidance designed to secure that when sex education is given to registered pupils at maintained schools—
(a) they learn the nature of marriage and its importance for family life and the bringing up of children, and
(b) they are protected from teaching and materials which are inappropriate having regard to the age and the religious and cultural background of the pupils concerned.
The question is, why is this part of the law ignored by sex educators?
The Bible stresses the importance of doing things God’s way and avoiding the unruly: Proverbs 28:7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
And here is some of what the Bible teaches about the purpose of education: Deuteronomy 6:7 And thou shalt teach them (God’s laws) diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Section 56/404 of the Education Act 1996 says that schools cannot keep parents from knowing about the sex education being taught to their children.
The statute says that schools should make, and keep up to date, a separate written statement of the schools’ policy with regard to the provision of sex education, and (b)make copies of the statement available for inspection (at all reasonable times) by parents of registered pupils at the school and provide a copy of the statement free of charge to any such parent who asks for one.
And yet a mother lost her case in court when she demanded a school share sex education materials, taught to her daughter, brought in by a publicly-funded third sector body with charitable status.
Under Freedom of Information laws, Clare Page requested that the lesson plan, accompanying slides, and the names of the facilitators be released after her daughter was taught that hetero-normativity was a ‘bad thing’, and that she should be ‘sex positive’ in her relationships.
The School of Sexuality Education, which hosted the class at Hatcham College, a state school in New Cross, Southeast London, refused to release the information which led to Mrs Page making legal action. But a judge said she had no right to see them.
Stonewall and Mermaids, both promoters of sodomy and transgenderism, have been especially blamed for their propaganda in schools. Dr Loutfi described them as two main actors among other charities pushing gender ideology in schools. She questioned why the UK government consults these two organisations and not other bodies with different views.
‘Why have these charities redesigned the law according to their fantasy to saying “gender reassignment” can be with any age, and anyone who goes against this, is a bigot, as against what the law says which is 18?
‘This is contrary to the Equality Act 2010, which has a list of protected characteristics on the basis of non-discrimination, one of which is “gender reassignment” (GRA 2004)’. It permits only people who are 18 and above to make this decision.’
The lawyer added that we live in a society driven by the repetition of slogans and mantras. Even government ministers and lawyers are disregarding the letter of the law and going with mantras seen on social media. However, the Department of Education should be held accountable for neglecting to address this issue which has resulted in so many young people self-harming, socially transitioning, and sometimes “medically transitioning”.
According to the sense of the Bible, it is not okay to permit “gender reassignment” at any age, let alone for children. Those who support prescribing damaging hormones to children are well described in Scripture: Job 13:4 But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.
In previous articles, Christian Voice has asserted that emotions and wants during puberty are not connected to what activists refer to as “gender identity and dysphoria.” What matters is good parenting with the help of God, being watchful and discerning when something is wrong, and getting the right help without brainwashing the child with unhealthy ideologies.
In the Gospel, our Lord took it as understood that a physician would be nowhere near adolescent boys and girls with absolutely nothing wrong with them: Matt 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

The Prime Minister himself admitted that the long-awaited advice for teachers is still being worked on despite previously promising it would be issued before the end of the summer term. That date has now passed.
He is under pressure, say the papers, from ‘some Tory MPs and campaigners’; to ensure that the guidance stops schoolchildren changing their names, pronouns, hairstyles, and uniforms to match their preferred gender. So why is he doing nothing?
Thank God for Dr. Loutfi and other people who have had the courage to speak up

Costa stands accused of a bizarre virtue-signalling stunt with an advert promoting mutilatory double mastectomies in healthy young women.
The coffee firm has used a cartoon image of a “trans man” (ie a woman) with obvious mastectomy scars.
On the Unherd website, Joan Smith described Costa’s trans mastectomy advert as ‘an insult to women.’ She said: ‘The coffee chain is oblivious to the pain it causes troubled young girls’.
Detransitioner Sinead Watson said: ‘There is absolutely nothing glamorous about having your breasts removed. I should know. I only have to look in the mirror to see what a transitioned chest looks like.’
Costa is promoting a medical scandal. The chain now has angry customers threatening a boycott while Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle ludicrously defended it on Julia Hartley-Brewer’s TalkTV show as ‘people making adjustments to their body’, as if a mastectomy is no more serious than a haircut.
The Biblical position is clear. It is God who decides whether we are male or female, not us: Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
The midwife does not ‘assign’ your sex, she simply discerns it: Luke 1:57 Now Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.
While those who think they know better than the Almighty are cursed by the Word of God: Isa 45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? 10 Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
The Costa advert is the latest example of the UK establishment’s wholesale rebellion against the Almighty. It shows why the whole edifice of woke law needs to be pulled down in national repentance, so that things begin to go well for all the people of this land, not just confused young women deluded into thinking they are really men:

According to Sky News, Attorney General Victoria Prentis MP said the Government would have to change the law if it wanted to stop children assuming a different gender in schools.
‘Gender Reassignment’ is a ‘protected characteristic’ under Section 7 of Chapter 1 of Part 2 of the 2010 Act. Click on the link above to see we are not making it up.

Government lawyers have also raised concerns about proposals to include a free speech defence so that teachers would not be ‘compelled’ to use a pupil’s chosen pronouns.
But none of it can be done while the Equality Act stays as it is. So the Attorney General’s observation of amending the law begs the question: Why they are not doing that already? How long have they been in office? Thirteen years?
If the Government are genuinely committed to ensuring the safety of children and resolving the persisting “gender identity crisis” within schools, why is the Government not taking urgent action to change the law now?
It is because, as the Guardian reported more than three months ago, Equalities Secretary Kemi Badenoch is still dithering after asking the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) for advice on the change. And of course the usual suspects, the Stonewalls of this world, feet securely under the government table, are opposing it.
Safeguarding of children has a Biblical precedent in the words of our Lord: Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
‘Gender Reassignment’ should be banned
We need to be very clear that in anything like a God-fearing society, or even one with common sense, no child should be allowed to set out on the ‘social transitioning’ pathway. Changing pronouns, clothing and toilets leads inexorably to puberty-blocking hormones and mutilatory surgery, which a civilised society would prohibit. If someone has a psychological, emotional or spiritual problem, stopping puberty and cutting off bodily parts is not the way to address it.

Teaching in fear
Teachers in schools across the UK appear to be walking on eggshells in matters of “gender identity”. It has significantly affected the way they carry out their jobs, as most teachers get sanctioned for what schools describe as ” falling below teaching standards”.
In May 2023, a Christian teacher was stopped indefinitely from teaching in any sixth-form college or children’s home in England for what they claim to be “misgendering” a pupil.
33-year-old Joshua Sutcliffe was banned from the teaching profession for addressing a girl as a girl. Mr Sutcliffe unapologetically admitted to not using the pupil’s preferred pronouns and plans to appeal the court ruling.
Guidance on the UK government page says, ‘Parents have the duty to protect their children’s rights until they are old enough to make their own way in the world.
‘Provide the child with food, clothing and a place to live. Also, provide safety, supervision and control amongst other things.’
The emphasis on “old enough to make informed decisions,” and providing supervision/control, as stated above, seems to have become irrelevant in this era of “gender rights and inclusivity.”
Parental consent in matters such as “gender identity” and ‘sex education’ should not be up for debate.
The Bible says, Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.
In a separate case, a court ruled against Christian parents who took a London school to court after it prevented pupils, including her 4-year-old son, from opting out of a school ‘gay pride’ event.
The parents, Izzy and Shane Montague are to appeal their case after the Central London County Court dismissed their claim against their child’s former school, Heavers Farm, for attempting to force him to participate in an “LGBT-themed Pride Parade”. Christian parents, teachers, activists, public servants being cancelled for expressing Biblical views, need their freedom of speech protected. Only national repentance can save this United Kingdom:
In November 2022, teachers at a Scottish secondary school were ordered to keep gender changes of pupils a secret.
A local paper reported that staff at a West Dunbartonshire high school received an email from the head teacher warning them not to divulge the information of children’s gender decisions.
Teachers at the school also revealed that a growing number of pupils were assuming new identities, with staff and pupils ordered to use new names and pronouns without question.
Our major concern is to let children grow in the way of the Lord, and enjoy their childhood without unnecessary intrusions.
As the Bible puts it, 1 Cor 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Miriam Cates MP has proposed a bill to let parents see RSE materials.

A Tory MP has proposed a new law that would oblige schools and third-party sex educators to disclose sex education lesson plans and materials to parents.
Mrs Cates has warned that sex education lessons have become a “wild west”. She is proposing the legislation to create a legal duty for English schools to share materials used in relationships and sex education lessons with parents.
The legislation would also prevent schools from using unpublished materials if they are produced by a third-party provider.
It comes after a 47-year-old mum, Clare Page, lost a legal battle to see the sex education lesson plan used at her daughter’s school, even though the Education Secretary wrote to all schools in England telling them to disclose such lessons. Judge Sophie Buckley acknowledged Gillian Keegan’s letter only to ignore it. She ruled that the commercial interests of the third-party sex education provider outweighed the public interest in forcing the school to release the lesson plan under freedom of information laws.
Hence Miriam Cates’ Bill. However, firstly, without Government time the Bill stands no chance of becoming law. Its Second Reading might not even happen this year. Secondly, the Bill defines ‘publish’ as merely available to ministers and the media for a fee. True transparency demands all sex education material be openly and freely published to all. What do the sex educators have to hide? As our Lord said:
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Trans Guidance ‘political disaster’

In a separate development, the Telegraph reports that a long-awaited draft government guidance on whether children can ‘self identify’ as the opposite sex at school has been denounced as a ‘political disaster’.
Education Secretary Gillian Keegan’s draft guidance would allow children to adopt false pronouns if their parents agree. That would not only be weak, be damaging to children, put pressure on parents to ‘conform’ to trans ideology, and be an abrogation of the duty of care all adults should have for children, but fly in the face of scripture. The Bible says,
Gen 1:27 And God created Adam in his image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Isa 29:16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?
A spokesperson for the Prime Minister said: ‘Children should not be influenced by the personal views of teachers when discussing transgender issues.’
Just to be clear, “transgenderism” has no place in children’s education . There should be no discussion of “transgenderism” in schools at all.
We may be certain trans activists will respond to Ms Keegan’s forthcoming consultation to argue that it is up to children themselves whether they want to tell their parents about embarking on a self-destructive path.
Clearly, it is the ideology driving them. They care nothing for the children involved. The Bible says: Proverbs 12:10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
College investigated for Student identifying as cat
A school identified as Rye College is being investigated by the Department for Education (DfE) after a teacher called a pupil’s views despicable during a row over another allegedly identifying as a cat.
According the Telegraph, children at the school in East Sussex were reprimanded last week for refusing to accept their classmate’s decision to self-identify as a cat.

The children were told they would be reported to a senior leader after their teacher said they had “really upset” the fellow pupil by telling her: “You’re a girl.”
In the meantime, Christian Voice contacted a number of unrelated Schools all in England and Wales for a comment on the subject, but they are yet to respond.
It has emerged that students in British schools are now allowed to identify as dinosaurs, horses, or even a moon. However, teachers have been warned by the government to treat these incidents as safeguarding issues. However, the warnings lack teeth.
Downing Street has said that head teachers should intervene to stop children identifying as moons, cats, or other “neo-genders”. But yet again, this is not a statutory requirement, merely advice and ‘guidance’.
The Bible says, Jeremiah 51:7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the Lord’s hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says he is deeply concerned about the content of sex education being taught to some pupils. He emphasised: ‘it is vital the right safeguards are in place.’

In March 2023, Mr Sunak pledged to put forward a review of statutory guidance on Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), in light of the “safeguarding scandal” of inappropriate materials being used in schools.
We acknowledge the Prime Minister’s declared effort to prioritise these safeguarding issues and restore sanity. However, we must say that it is not enough and shows the government have lost control of education and the whole LGBT debate.
Ministers and teachers are adults and should prevent unbiblical matters like “gender identity”, “gender reassignment”, “same-sex relationships” from intruding into children’s minds if they are to grow up as well-balanced individuals and if society itself is not to destroy itself.
The Bible says, 1Cor 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Deut 6:6-7; Prov 16:12, 25:5, 29:14; Ezek 16:49-50; Matthew 18:1-10; Ephesians 6:4; 1 John 3: 7-8. We thank God for this step by Mr Sunak and his ministers and MPs, but must continue to pray without ceasing for our leaders to repent for God’s institution of the family to be honoured and for our children to be protected. Pray also for Clare Page and her family to be emboldened and strengthened.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is under pressure to withdraw guidance for schools, recommending that children aged four and under be taught about “enjoyment and pleasure when touching one’s own body, early childhood masturbation”.
The organisation recommends that toddlers have “the right to ask questions about sexuality” and “the right to explore gender identities”. (Pictured right)
These topics are described by WHO as the “minimal standards that need to be covered by sexuality education”.
The World Health Assembly, with three delegates from each of the WHO’s 194 member states, is meeting in Geneva as we write. The delegates typically include a health minister, a health official, and your nation’s UN ambassador:
A Government spokesperson for the Department of Education told Christian Voice: “The UK Government does not recognise this WHO guidance and we don’t agree with its recommendations. We have not distributed or promoted it to schools.
“We offer our own guidance to help schools to teach children and young people about relationships and health. This is for primary school aged children and above.”
Christian Voice also contacted campaign groups who claim to represent children’s rights. Most declined to comment on this major issue involving the safety of children.
A spokesperson for Children’s Rights Alliance for England (CRAE) said: ‘The organisation is a very small team, and we haven’t looked at the WHO’s guidance on this. We also don’t do work surrounding this issue, so we are not able to comment on it’.
Barnados told us: ‘Unfortunately, we’re unable to help on this occasion’. Meanwhile, Save the Children Fund said: ‘We don’t have anything to add to this story, so we cannot help on this occasion’.
‘Children England’ are yet to get back to us. The Children’s Commissioner for England is yet to respond to our request for comment.
The UK Prime Minister reacts
The Telegraph reported that Mr Rishi Sunak is committed to bringing forward a review of statutory guidance on Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), in light of the “safeguarding scandal” of inappropriate materials being used in schools.
The Prime Minister made the pledge in the House of Commons in response to a question from Miriam Cates, MP for Penistone and Stocksbridge. Ms Cates also organised a letter to Mr Sunak from fellow Tory MPs.
She told Mr Sunak that children are being “subjected to lessons that are age-inappropriate, extreme, sexualising and inaccurate, often using resources from unregulated organisations that are actively campaigning to undermine parents. This is not a victory for equality, it is a catastrophe for childhood.”
The Bible says, 1 CORINTHIANS 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
MPs show concern
The Former Home Secretary Priti Patel MP, said: “It’s shocking to see what’s being taught to some children in our schools and concerning that parents are being ignored”.
Further, former Education Minister Brendan Clarke-Smith, who also signed the letter from Miriam Cates asking the Prime Minister to review sex education for children, warned: “To present contentious issues to young minds as facts is totally wrong”.
MP for Mansfield, Ben Bradley, stated, “I don’t think people have any real sense of what some children are being taught in their schools. I’ve spoken to many parents who have been horrified by some of the content”.
The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 18; 6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
No to sexualisation of children
Frank Furedi, executive director of the think-tank, Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) said: “The exploitation of young people for political ends is already causing serious damage. The promoters of sexuality education are disorienting and disturbing kids.
“They are plunging them into a crisis of identity from their very earliest years onwards”.
On Spiked-online, Professor Furedi went further: ‘The purpose of the WHO guidance, which has been eagerly taken up by educational and health authorities over the past 10 or so years, is not education – it is indoctrination. This is clear from the WHO’s emphasis on ‘sexuality education’, rather than what used to be known as ‘sex education’. There is an important difference between these two terms. Whereas sex education involves teaching children about sex and human reproduction, ‘sexuality education’ focusses on gender and sexual identity. As part of ‘sexuality education’, children are not being taught the facts of life. They’re being taught a highly contested ideology.’
He added that adult society needs to fight back against this silent campaign of indoctrination.
Welsh Government followed WHO
Incredibly, the Welsh Government based its sex education policy on exactly the WHO terminology Prof Furedi condemned. Its draft Relationships and Sexuality Education Guidance published in 2019 said: ‘The change in name to Relationships and Sexuality Education reflects the internationally recognised World Health Organisation (WHO) standards for sexuality education.’
Mercifully, the Wales published guidance (2021) avoids the worst excesses of the WHO guidance. However, it still says: ‘Across the learning strands, curriculum content in RSE must be inclusive and reflect diversity. It must include learning that develops learners’ awareness and understanding of different identities, views and values and a diversity of relationships, gender and sexuality, including LGBTQ+ lives. ‘ It is, in other words, woke propaganda. And indeed, the word ‘sexuality’ occurs 16 tines, ‘gender’ 17. From age 11, children should have ‘An ability to advocate for and advance the rights of all and understand and respect all people in relation to sex, gender and sexuality.
Earlier this month, Laura Anne Jones, Conservative shadow minister for education in Wales’ regional government, challenged the WHO to take down its guidelines for sex education in Europe.
However, the problem is worldwide, with WHO advocating for Comprehensive Sexuality Education across the developing world. See this article from Kenya Christian Voice:

Cultural Climate Change
So what is Cultural Climate Change? Unlike alleged weather ‘climate change’, this one is totally man-made!
Cultural Climate Change is characterised by a disregard for the sanctity of life and the divine institution of marriage. It leads to an ice age of falling birthrates, a rising sea-level of immorality, an increase in the temperature of intolerance to prophetic warning voices and a cooling of the altruism we need to bind us together. Civilisations in the past have been here and done this, Rabbi Sacks argues. Every one of them has gone down the rubbish-chute of history, driven out by a stronger monotheistic and monogamous force. The word of God says:
Proverbs 16:12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
If you want your nation to be blessed, those who lead you must set Jesus as their King. Scripture clearly says:
Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD;
Living in the Days of Lot
We can also say the West is now living in the Days of Lot. In the societies of Sodom and Gomorrah, immorality in the form of sodomy was not merely tolerated but encouraged by their legal and societal structures. They also practised child sacrifice. However, the West today goes one further. It uses government foreign aid programmes and immoral charitable foundations to export its immorality, funding local activist NGOs to spread Cultural Climate Change in their countries.
Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
The West also employs diplomatic pressure. One forum where this can be seen is the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting.
Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting
In previous years, pro-homosexual nations and activists within them have attempted to promote assumed LGBT rights in and around the meeting.
Australia put down a pro-sodomy motion at the CHOGM in October 2011. The United Kingdom supported it. In June 2011, Prime Minister David Cameron told a reception he gave for gay activists at No 10 Downing Street that he intended to use UK foreign aid as a lever to force recipient countries to liberalise their laws on homosexuality. His speech was reported in the UK homosexual website Pink News. This writer’s reaction to it was reported in DominicaNewsOnline. I said: ‘David Cameron needs to realise that the white man is not the fount of all wisdom’.
The Bible writers would surely call Mr Cameron a man ‘who did evil in the sight of the Lord’.
Commonwealth Secretary-General Baroness Scotland stands accused of cronyism and corruption.
Her Majesty the Queen signed a new Commonwealth Charter in 2013, which declared: ‘We are implacably opposed to all forms of discrimination, whether rooted in gender, race, colour, creed, political belief or other grounds.’ The Western nations wanted ‘sexual orientation’ included explicitly in the Charter. They lost, and will now try to argue that ‘or other grounds’ includes ‘sexuality’.
In 2015, the CHOGM elected Baroness Scotland as Secretary-General. Her Ladyship said she would use her tenure to promote decriminalisation of homosexuality in Commonwealth countries. She is now embroiled in accusations of corruption.
In 2018, Prime Minister Theresa May told the CHOGM that laws against unnatural practices were ‘wrong’. Prince William has expressed himself to be heavily pro-gay. Yet the Bible says:
Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Division and Pushback
However, events around the UNFPA Nairobi Summit in November 2019, which promoted ‘Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights’ (SRHR: code for pro-LGBT and pro-abortion policies) together with Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), exposed deep divisions between nations already engulfed by Cultural Climate Change and those threatened by it.
The Nordic Nations, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, were the primary funders of the Summit. Moreover, no end of blond young women activists attended the Summit. In contrast, African, Caribbean and Asian nations were dismayed by the Western attempts to promote immorality. Uganda and St Lucia stood with the US to condemn the UNFPA agenda. Norway then condemned what it saw as the ‘pushback’.
Christian Voice and Kenya Christian Voice were there. We handed out leaflets condemning abortion to those going in and our activities were noticed and made a real impact in the spiritual realm.
Freedom of Speech
There is, as mentioned above, a serious impact from Cultural Climate Change on freedom of speech and expression. Legalising homosexuality leads immediately to non-discrimination laws. The next step is a law mandating public authorities to promote ‘protected characteristics’. These include ‘sexual orientation’ and transgenderism. Scripture condemns such vanities:
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
The same public authorities, and other concerns and companies, use these laws to sack Christians and others who express misgivings about homosexual practice on social media. The church also begins to exercise self-censorship.
LGBT propaganda
The experience of the UK shows that legalising homosexuality also leads to the pretence of same-sex ‘marriage’. This, coupled with the public authority duty, leads to teachers corrupting primary school children with LGBT propaganda. Yet it is parents, not teachers, to whom God gives responsibility for children’s education:
Deut 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, … 19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
There is a trampling on parental responsibilities for their children’s education, even though these are enshrined not just in the Bible but in human rights legislation. In Birmingham, the courts denied parents freedom of assembly to protest against LGBT propaganda in Anderton Park and Parkfield Primary Schools.
Transgenderism
Schools in the UK are now also hotbeds of the horrors of transgenderism. The idea placed in the minds of even small children that they are ‘trapped in the wrong body’ has become so fashionable the UK government even allow doctors to prescribe hormonal drugs, ‘puberty blockers’ which interfere with children’s natural development.

Deut 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
Matt 19:4 And he (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female?
(P.S. There has more recently been a pushback against transgenderism, with the closure of the UK’s Tavistock Clinic. The UK government also want to ensure fairness in sports. But at this time of posting [January 2023], the Scottish Parliament had voted to allow anyone to switch gender, without so much as a doctor’s note. Meanwhile the UK government were proposing to criminalise anyone, even a parent, who voiced concerns over even a child’s intention to ‘transition’.)
The prize of Jamaica
J-Flag: Jamaican campaigning homosexuals
Cultural Climate Change is being pushed in Africa and Asia and across the whole of the Caribbean. However, Jamaica, the largest Commonwealth island in the Caribbean, would be a highly significant prize if judges and/or lawmakers could be browbeaten into legalising sodomy and abortion. There is money to be made, particularly from abortion. Underneath is an anti-Christian population control agenda. We shall explore that at another time…
Anyway, the propaganda appears to be working for now. An article in the Guardian in December 2018 was headed ‘Welcome to Jamaica – no longer ‘the most homophobic place on Earth.’
The article highlighted what it described as ‘the work of Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All-Sexuals and Gays (J-Flag), the country’s largest LGBT rights organisation, which this month celebrates its 20th anniversary.’

So let us look at ‘J-FLAG’. According to its website, J-FLAG has six directors and no fewer than thirteen full-time members of staff, including a ‘Senior Youth Programme Officer’, one Sean Lord. Foreign-funded NGO jobs are among the most lucrative in the developing world. A Scottish gay charity has just admitted its youth outreach programmes amounted to grooming and sexual abuse.
Its 2017 annual report boasted of its ‘gay pride celebrations’, public visibility in its clearing beaches campaign, support from private sector companies and of being heard sympathetically in Parliament. It states that the Minister of Justice, Hon. Delory Chuck, called for decriminalisation of anti-sodomy laws, only to appear to back-track.
The Minister of Health, Dr Christopher Tufton, demanded ‘stigma and discrimination’ against ‘minority groups’ be ended. Most worrying, the Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, it says, told a London summit that Jamaica welcomes ‘LGBT travellers’. The latter bring tourism money, it is true. But they also bring heightened use of narcotics, sexual health risks and the corruption of ‘sex-tourism’ as well-heeled foreign homosexual men try to hire local boys for sex. The tourist industry is proposing a pact with the devil.
J-FLAG is also promoting feminist group ‘We-Change’, a magazine, ‘Pride ja’, a disturbing youth ‘outreach’, and a transsexual group, ‘Transwave’. They boasted of a partnership between J-Flag and ‘the Youth Division of the (Jamaica) Ministry of Youth, Sports & Culture.’
Confusing accounts
J-FLAG accounts are difficult to comprehend, even when it publishes them. It seldom lists its donors, but we’ll come to that. Its 2014 annual report lists 5,000,000 on administration, 17,500,000 pn staff, and 22,000,000 on ‘program’.
Its 2018 Annual Report showed a rise to 9,306,240 on administration, 10,133,405 on staff, and 71,811,593 on ‘program’ (p29). It does not say what currency these figures are in, which is a gross omission. It may be Jamaican dollars, which would put the listed expenditure in the £500k bracket.

LGBT promotion in the Caribbean
What is certain is that all the money comes from the West. The 2015/2016 Global Resources Report listed ‘Government and Philanthropic Support for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Communities’.
The top ten funders of ‘LGBTI’ funding for Latin America, South America and the Caribbean (p6) included Hivos (a wealthy humanist foundation in the Netherlands), the EU, Ford Foundation, Open Society Foundations (founded by George Soros), Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice and the San Francisco-based Tides Foundation.
Costa Rica is being deluged with Cultural Climate Change money, $5m in 2015/16, according to the report. But second is Jamaica, with $1,785,967 pouring in. As J-FLAG is about the only and certainly the largest LGBT CSO in Jamaica, the bulk of that money must be ending up in J-FLAG coffers.
Swedish heiress Sigrid Rausing, based in the UK, is at the forefront of LGBT funding worldwide.
Donors listed
J-FLAG’s 2014 annual report listed some of its donors (p 38 – [p42 in the pdf]): Digicell Foundation, European Union, FOSI, Foundation To Promote An Open Society (sounds like a Soros set-up), Human Dignity Trust, MAC-AIDS, Rights Now, Royal Norwegian, Sigrid Rausing Trust, US State Department, York University and VIIV Healthcare. (US State Dept. money for promoting sodomy dried up under President Trump only to restart under Joe Biden.)
Sigrid Rausing Trust admits, or boasts, of having sent £480,000 to J-FLAG over the years from 2009. They gave them £240,000 over three years starting in 2018. (Stop Press: Their current grant is £300,000 over three years from 2022./)
Last year, 2019, Astraea Lesbian Foundation gave J-FLAG £500,000.
Wealthy foundations

Astraea itself is supported by other wealthy US foundations including Arcus, Tides and Ford and has strong links to Open Society Foundations.
We see Astraea and Open Society supporting similar groups around the world, for example, South Africa’s Triangle Project (pp 39-43). Other ‘usual suspects’ also appear, such as the Germany-based Heinrich Boll Foundation.
The Edge Funders Alliance ran a conference in 2013 helpfully listing many of the Western NGOs and Foundations funding groups promoting immorality in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.
Returning to J-FLAG, we find a UK homosexual charity, GiveOut, fund-raising for J-FLAG’s ‘Community Hub’, ‘Rainbow House’. GiveOut have also provided funds for J-FLAG’s Transwave as well as the ‘United Caribbean Trans Network’ (UCTRANS).
Abortion
Jamaica’s IPPF-funded FAMPLAN ’s logo carries worrying allusions to China’s infamous ‘one-child’ policy .
Abortion is illegal in Jamaica except, obviously, to save the life of the mother. International Planned Parenthood run the Jamaica Family Planning Association, FAMPLAN. We read FAMPLAN is an advocate of sex education in schools. That will heighten demand for contraceptives, and when they fail, abortion.
In 2005 the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute published a paper about ‘declining international funding’ for Caribbean family planning associations. Like the Jamaican LGBT-advocacy industry, FAMPLAN is totally reliant on Western funding. It’s money was coming from US-based IPPF, from the Canadian International Development Agency ‘and similar International organizations’. It received no money from the Jamaican government.
In Kenya, Marie Stopes has been caught out providing illegal abortions in its network on clinics in the country. The abortions are heavily subsidised from the West, notably some £48m from the UK taxpayer. Marie Stopes does not operate across the Caribbean. If IPPF is providing that service, we have found no evidence of it at this time of writing.
Propaganda
Nevertheless, IPPF would be well set to make a lot of money if abortion were ever legalised in Jamaica, so we should expect pro-abortion articles in the press, presentations to Parliament and similar propaganda, or ‘advocacy’ if one prefers.
Indeed, we read On an IPPF website: ‘FAMPLAN is a key player within a coalition of civil society organizations advocating for legal and policy changes related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, including the rights of LGBTQI+ individuals and women who have experienced violence. FAMPLAN also focuses on the health and rights of young people, and has been leading a collaborative effort to revise and strengthen school-based sexuality education, and remove the requirement of parental consent for youth under 18 who want to access sexual and reproductive health services.’
Whenever we read ‘sexual and reproductive health and rights’ (SRHR) alarm bells ring. The expression was prominent at the Nairobi UNFPA Summit in November 2019. It is code for liberalisation of laws around homosexuality and abortion. And we note FAMPLAN want to paint parents of under-18s out of the picture where their children’s sexual activities are concerned.
Christian response
That particular IPPF webpage is no longer available, but IPPF’s ‘Famplan’ section boasts of its Youth Advocacy Movement HERE and says HERE that despite ‘cultural barriers and stigma’ Famplan has ‘made its mark’. It is a challenge to the church in Jamaica and to Christian youth in particular. The church needs to identify these strongholds of Satan and take prayer action against them.
As well as confront evildoers, Christians are called to offer up:
1Tim 2:1 … prayers, intercessions, … 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority;
And above all to witness to their Members of Parliament and all others in public life.

Mass Resistance
Moving back to the LGBT agenda, Brian Camenker of US-based Mass Resistance was able to present a speech at a pro-family rally in Jamaica in 2013 hosted by Dr Wayne West.
According to the MassResistance website, ‘Camenker outlined — point by point — the progression that followed once homosexuality was legalized everywhere else — and would surely happen in Jamaica. After legalization comes: gay pride parades; non-discrimination laws; homosexuals’ adoption of children; the homosexual agenda in schools; forcing “gay marriage” on society; public funding to deal with increased homosexual-related social problems; the transgender agenda; large-scale loss of free speech; ban on counseling for kids with homosexual issues; and attacks on churches.’
Russian response
Under President Putin, Russia has been moving to a more pro-family and pro-life stance. It is one of the reasons Russia is now so hated by Western liberals.
In 2015 Russia banned Open Society Foundation from any activities in the country. Indeed, Russia now bans all organisations funded from abroad seeking to undermine the nation’s morals and corrupt its young. In 2013, Russia brought in a federal law ‘for the purpose of protecting children from information advocating for a denial of traditional family values’. Known as the ‘gay propaganda law’, this measure has already proved highly effective at preventing gay activists presenting homosexuality as a norm, or holding gay pride parades. Amnesty International and Western liberal opinion are appalled.
P.S. (Jan 2023) Yet even the UK now demands transparency around the activities of foreign powers. The Foreign Influence Registration Scheme (FIRS) was introduced to the National Security Bill by a government amendment in October 2022. The aim is to deter foreign power use of covert arrangements, activities and proxies, ‘where those activities are directed or carried out by entities established overseas or subject to foreign power control’.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Jamaica! Stand firm!
In the face of all the well-funded international pressure to bring Cultural Climate Change to Jamaica, we should be failing in our Christian prophetic duty if we were not to issue a warning to the people of Jamaica of their need to stand firm.
This ministry is therefore available to brief those in authority, diplomats, law-makers and pastors. We were present in Nairobi in November 2019 and are currently working on submissions to members of parliament in Kenya.
In Jamaica, it seems one necessary measure is to compel NGOs and CSOs which receive money from overseas to list each such donation in their annual published accounts. Russia’s example is one that has much to commend it as well.
The CHOGM 2020

Looking ahead to June 2020 and Kigali, delegates from Africa, Asia and the Caribbean should be aware at least one pro-LGBT NGO has achieved affiliate status at the CHOGM. The‘Commonwealth Equality Network’ will ensure the presence of LGBT activists in Kigali. It lists 47 of its ‘member’ LGBT groups across the Commonwealth HERE. An article in the Independent in April 2018 also listed homosexual activists from the UK, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Barbados, Malawi, Tonga, Belize, Malaysia, Seychelles and Australia. Clearly, the Commonwealth white nations are funding all the others.
The UK government may well be on ‘best behaviour’ in June 2020 as Boris Johnson focuses on trade deals. That provides an opportunity for Caribbean, African and Asian nations to put together a pro-family, pro-life resolution. High Commissioners in London could prove instrumental in deciding whether such an approach is feasible, and if so, in organising it, and if not, pondering what else should be done.
The hosting country has great influence, not least in speeches welcoming delegates. It would be helpful if President Paul Kagame could remind assembled nations of the need to respect traditional values, for example.

Research
More research should be done on the funding of pro-LGBT and pro-abortion NGOs, and this ministry stands ready to do whatever the Lord calls us to do to combat the global menace of Cultural Climate Change which threatens to destroy us all.
In particular, we are able to help and even set up pro-life and pro-family groups in the Caribbean. We are already responding to Christians who are establishing Christian Voice affiliates in Africa. This is a movement to stand for righteousness and pray for those in authority whose time is long overdue. Every Christian has a duty to offer up:
1Tim 2:1 … prayers, intercessions, … 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority;
And to inform their Members of Parliament and others in public life. And to expect miracles:
2Cor 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

PRAY: For leaders in Jamaica and all the Caribbean, African and Asian members of the Commonwealth to stand firm on God’s word for human life, made in God’s image, and for the family as God has ordained it. May God pour out a blessing on those nations who fear his name and keep his righteous laws according to his promises.
