A local council has officially withdrawn its funding and support for a ‘Pride’ parade.

For years, Surrey County Council had sponsored Pride in Surrey events, but have withdrawn funding following the conviction of Stephen Ireland, the group’s founder, now sentenced for the sodomy of a 12-year-old boy and multiple child sexual offences according to the Telegraph.

The County Council even maintained a close relationship with Mr. Ireland despite serious previous safeguarding warnings. Now, after his conviction, officials say they will no longer allocate public money to the group.

This decision sends a vital message which our elite need to hear: public funds must never support organisations that could shield predators. It also shines a light onto the promiscuous, predatory world of male homosexuality, as explained further in our video:

The Jury

A jury at Guildford Crown Court convicted Ireland of raping the child at his Addlestone flat on April 19, 2024. This shocking case exposes the dark underbelly that can lurk within groups promoting certain lifestyles.

Ireland, alongside David Sutton, 27, a volunteer for “Surrey Pride”, faced a multitude of charges. In total, they stood trial for 38 horrific offences, including conspiring to sexually assault children, arranging child sex offences, and even conspiring to kidnap.

The child bravely told police he was sexually assaulted, smoked narcotics from a ‘bong’, and was exposed to pornography.

Ireland’s convictions extend beyond the rape charge. He was also found guilty of three counts of causing a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, one count of sexual assault of a child under 13, one count of arranging the commission of a child sex offence, and six counts of making indecent images of children.

The danger of public hypocrisy

The case reveals how the establishment can be wilfully blind to individuals from favoured groups in positions of influence abusing the trust placed in them, in this case both financially and around vulnerable children.

Ireland was lauded by public institutions, supported by local media, broadcasting on the radio, even collaborating with local councils and police. He went out for rides in a rainbow-decked police car. No-one in authority ever dared raise the suspicion that a promiscuous homosexual might not be the right person to be cosying up to. Surrey Police even have LGBTQ+ officers in the force. Homosexuality is fashionable among the elite. This is where it ends.

Luke 8:17 For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.

Matthew 23:27–28 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres… outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Protecting our children

The most urgent takeaway from this tragedy is the need to protect children from predators, regardless of their title, affiliation, or background.

Parents, schools, and churches must remain vigilant, even if those in power won’t out of fear or can’t out of ideology. Children are a precious gift from God and deserve protection from manipulation and harm.

Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck.

Pride, fall and repentance

This situation calls for a national reflection, not only on individual wrongdoing, but also on how the ‘Pride’ ideology shields sin from accountability. The clue is in the name:

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

This is not the time for silence or moral cowardice. Christians are called to speak truth in love, advocate for the vulnerable, and call leaders to repentance.

While justice must be served, we also pray for redemption—for victims, communities, and even those ensnared in sin. It may be that with so much energy focussed on transgenderism, we have forgotten the dangers of the predatory nature of promiscuous male homosexuality.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face… then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
