The Royal Air Force is practising attacking raids as the Ukraine crisis deepens.
Training flights were conducted yesterday across Wales, flying over the Christian Voice office in Carmarthenshire.
The aircraft, which flew at low level over the rolling Welsh hills, were most likely to have been Hawk fighter jets, based at RAF Valley on Anglesey and used by the RAF for twin-seat training.
Similar exercises were carried out before the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan began.
The practice runs come as Ukrainian armed forces have been trying, without success, to retake cities in Eastern Ukraine held by pro-Russian demonstrators.
Three people are reported to have been killed, but their has been no condemnation of Ukraine for ‘firing on its own people’ from either the Rt Hon William Hague MP, Her Majesty’s Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, or US Secretary of State John Kerry.
Meanwhile, the United States is talking about sending ‘non-lethal’ equipment to Kiev, and the European Union is beefing up its armed forces in the Baltic States and Poland.
Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Nato Secretary General, said the alliance would be providing “more planes in the air, more ships on the water, and more readiness on land”.
What these would be used for, apart from taking on Russian forces in what could easily become a Third World War, is not very clear.
We join Nigel Farage and John Redwood in calling for Britain to leave the EU
and we are with The Daily Express as it urges Britain to stay out of the Ukrainian conflict.
We need to remember that the problems in Ukraine started when pro-EU NGO’s including the ‘Open Society’ of George Soros, financed trouble-makers in Kiev who took over government buildings when the elected President decided to align the country with Russia rather than with the EU.
Charitably, these actions may be regarded as stupid, and bound to lead to the copycat actions in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine which came to pass. Â Uncharitably, Messrs Soros et al foresaw all the Eastern Ukraine trouble in advance and want to start a full-scale war, from which they could benefit financially. (Take what you will from that last link!)
Either way, the Ukrainian conflict is one which Britain must not play any part in.  William Hague will never admit that it was pro-EU agitation which started the Ukraine crisis, but at the very least HMG could end the self-defeating sanctions against Russian figures, and stop sabre-rattling.
Prayer and lobbying saved us from becoming embroiled in Syria, another conflict which has the fingerprints of Soros and the Western elite all over it.
Email your MP and demand that the UK keeps right out of Ukraine.

Perhaps Muslim, homosexual or Marxist factions in the RAF are planning to bomb the Christian Voice HQ by accident ? But seriously, it seems to me very reasonable that a largely Russian-speaking and Russian-friendly eastern Ukraine should choose to join with Russia if it wants to. Now the Crimea has gone that way, I don’t think anyone is going to make a great effort to win it back for the Ukraine, and this should be the same. Ukraine, the biggest country in Europe (apart from Russia), will still be a big country without whatever territory it might lose.
We have no business in redefining the frontier between Russia and Ukraine, least of all should President Obama interfere as if he had been elected for the purpose. Similarly, we would not expect them to interfere if part of Northumberland wanted to join an independent Scotland, nor did anybody interfere when Monmouthshire became Gwent almost unnoticed, and threw in it lot with Wales.
Hey Rox, thanks for the warning. We are keeping our heads down for sure!
It’s funny how self-determination is fine when it’s in American and EU interests, isn’t it?
For quite some time I have mused, ‘Is John Kerry the beast?’
Conspiracy theories, and rash interpretations of prophesy apart; it has bothered me about the conflicting news stories via RT and the BBC.
“Russian tanks are at the border” etc. when really the pictures confirming this were from Google Earth.
The AK47’s in the hands of pro Russian groups on the streets where government buildings have been stormed proved to be old weapons which are freely available – not those currently in the hands of Russian troops.
Why is John Kerry rattling sabres when peace talks are required? Why is William Hague always rushing to do the outlandish bidding of the secretary of state? Why does Mr. Hague want war with someone, anyone, it would seem – Libya, Syria, Ukraine and supporting rebels in Egypt and Bahrain?
Mr. Cameron, who is reported to have given positive messages about Christianity, today, seemed embarrassed when his own party turned down military support for the rebels in Syria.
Surely peace is in everyone’s interest.
Is this rattling of sabres, a diversion from the huge financial crisis hanging over our heads?
I certainly detect something is afoot and all my instincts are that what Western politicians are advocating is not good and we should support your viewpoint Stephen. Pray – lobby – speak out for peace.

Intersting to note that as bank holiday draws near most become embroiled in worldy affairs [ thiers ] instead of watching and praying as our LORD told us to do
Obama signed into law the National Defence Preparedness Act [ Total Control of the USA in peacetime or war ] on a public holday [ St Patricks Day ]
Could our government be going to war while we charabang to the seaside ?
We pray that the Lord will stop the aggressors like Obama, George Soros and the unwise William Hague from harming the peaceful Russians in East Ukraine.
Whether or not they are peaceful, John, it is certain that Soros, US NGO’s and EU-funded agents started all the trouble in Kiev, so it is a bit rich of them to start complaining when it all goes wrong. As to the Ukrainian Prime Minister accusing Russia of wanting to start a third world war, what does he think the planes referred to in this article which we have just sent to the Balkans might be intended to do, if not confront Russian forces? Let us pray for peace!
I don’t see why anybody would want to start a third world war as such. Such a war would start accidentally as a result of people with opposing interests bluffing and defending and going a bit too far .
