Dr. Hillary Cass
Dr. Hilary Cass has published her final gender review report after a four-year wait, following her interim report in 2022.
The Cass review found that critical thinking and open debate are fundamental elements in scientific and medical research. However, the Guardian reports she found professionals in the industry ‘are increasingly scared to openly discuss their views on the treatment of children questioning their gender identity’.
An overview of the key findings said, ‘There is no simple explanation for the increase in the numbers of predominantly young people and young adults who have a “trans” or gender diverse identity, but there is broad agreement that it is a result of a complex interplay between biological, psychological and social factors.’
In her review, Dr. Cass stated: ‘There are conflicting views about the clinical approach, with expectations of care at times being far from usual clinical practice.’
This, according to the report, has made some clinicians fearful of working with gender-questioning young people, despite their presentation being similar to many children and young people presenting to other NHS services.
‘An appraisal of international guidelines for care and treatment of children and young people with gender incongruence found that that no single guideline could be applied in its entirety to the NHS in England’, it added.
The gender review further states that while a considerable amount of research has been published in this field, systematic evidence reviews demonstrated the poor quality of the published studies, meaning there is not a reliable evidence base upon which to make clinical decisions, or for children and their families to make informed choices.
‘The strengths and weaknesses of the evidence base on the care of children and young people are often misrepresented and overstated, both in scientific publications and social debate.
‘The controversy surrounding the use of medical treatments has taken focus away from what the individualised care and treatment is intended to achieve for individuals seeking support from NHS gender services.’
Christian Voice has always maintained that there is no justification for the use of puberty blockers, regardless of who it is being administered to.
The Bible says, Luke 5:31-32 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
‘The rationale for early puberty suppression remains unclear, with weak evidence regarding the impact on gender dysphoria, mental or psycho-social health. The effect on cognitive and psycho-sexual development remains unknown,’ according to Dr. Cass’ findings.
‘The use of masculinising / feminising hormones in those under the age of 18 also presents many unknowns, despite their longstanding use in the adult transgender population. The lack of long-term follow-up data on those commencing treatment at an earlier age means we have inadequate information about the range of outcomes for this group.
‘Clinicians are unable to determine with any certainty which children and young people will go on to have an enduring trans identity.’
NHS gender services refused to participate
It has been disclosed that the NHS gender services astonishingly chose not to take part in the research process of the Cass Review.
In an email to John Stewart, the National Director of Specialised Commissioning at NHS England and NHS Improvement, Dr. Hilary wrote: ‘It is therefore hugely disappointing that the NHS gender services have decided not to participate with this research. I am frustrated on behalf of the young people and their families that the opportunity to reduce some of the uncertainties around care options has not been taken.
‘Ultimately, the NHS is an evidence-based service with a responsibility to maintain the safety of those in its care. Understanding more about what support people who attended the Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) received, and whether this helped them, will provide vital evidence to assist young people, their families, and the clinicians working with them to make informed decisions about the right pathway for them.’
She requested that NHS England consider how the objectives of this study could be achieved even after the completion of the Review.
Exercise extreme caution
Rishi Sunak, responding to the final review, said: ‘The findings have “shone a spotlight” on the need to “exercise extreme caution”,
The prime minister told LBC : ‘We care above all about the well-being of children and it’s clear that these things are not neutral acts, whether that’s social transitioning, any kind of medical intervention, we simply do not know the long-term effects of these things.
‘And that’s why anyone involved in considering these issues, of course, has to treat people with sensitivity and compassion, but also have to be extremely cautious when it comes to taking any action.’

Transcript of Nanosermon ‘Fossil fuels are the gift of God’ below:
In this Nanosermon, I’m going to prove, from the Bible, that fossil fuels are a gift from God, and discuss how they are a step up from burning wood or charcoal. Fasten your safety belt, here we go.
There’s a song in the musical My Fair Lady (28 – 34 seconds), sung by Stanley Holloway. It’s called ‘A little bit of luck.’ Here’s an extract:
‘The Lord above gave liquor for temptation, to see if man could turn away from sin.’
No, that’s not totally Biblical, it’s just a song. Yes, the Lord above gave wine (Psa 104:15), but to gladden the heart of man, not for temptation.
Turn away from Climate Sin
However, for climate fanatics, the Lord above, if they believe in the Lord above, has placed fossil fuels in the earth for the same reason, not to use in moderation, but to see if man can turn away from climate sin. So what does the Bible say about minerals in the earth?
This is Deuteronomy chapter eight, where God is talking about the promised land. It is: Deu 8:9b … a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.
Or copper, in the Hebrew. And here’s Job, chapter twenty-eight: Job 28:1 Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it. 2 Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone.
All of them are there by the grace of God for man to use. So is the bitumen which ancient people dug from the ground and used as mortar in building. (Gen 11:3) So is the clay they used to make pottery. It’s technology, right there in the Bible, from our Creator God who upholds the world and all things by the word of his power (Heb 1:3). According to offshore-technology.com, the oil and gas industry started as recently as 1847, when Scottish chemist James Young observed natural petroleum seepage in the Riddings coal mine. He distilled from it a thin oil suitable for lamps and a thicker oil for lubrication.
Dyball consultants say that by 200BC the Chinese were using coal for heat and as a trading commodity.
Coal, oil and gas may not have been known as such to the Bible writers, although Job goes on to say: Job 28:5 As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it, is turned up as it were fire.
Discovery of coal stopped deforestation
In any event, the same principle employs. God has put fossil fuels there for our use. Dybal go on to say coal was also vital to China’s metallurgy industry. Smelting was known to Job, but it flourished in China around 120BC. Dybal say:

‘Due to the huge demand for fuel for forges and furnaces, China faced issues from deforestation as forests were felled to provide fuel. As the crisis deepened, an alternative fuel source was found in coal’. Here’s Jordan Peterson at the Cambridge Union in October 2019 (5:37-6.00):
‘There’s more trees in the northern hemisphere than there were a hundred years ago. Nobody knows that, but it’s true and by a substantial margin. You know why, in part? Because people burn coal instead of wood. Everyone says we shouldn’t burn coal. OK, what are you going to do? Burn trees instead? Because that’s what poor people would have done. Coal isn’t good? Well, it’s better than burning wood.’

The UK is actually doing what the Canadian academic scorned: shipping wood chip made from primal forests in Canada over here to burn in the Drax power station instead of coal. They’ve fooled themselves into thinking it’s ‘greener’ than coal. But the emissions are far worse and the subsidies are ridiculous. It’s the politics of absurdity..
Renewables are intermittent and need cover for when the wind doesn’t blow and the sun doesn’t shine, or shines too hot for solar to work properly.
If you spurn the Lord’s gift of coal, oil and gas and keep them in the ground, as the Gretas want, and you refuse to plug the gap with nuclear, using another God-given mineral, by the way, then you’ll have to burn wood, as we do here on the farm, or use charcoal made from it, like the Chinese were doing and like poor people do for cooking all over the world today. And you will have massive deforestation.
The Heat pump at Wernlwyd now costs too much to run
We have an electric heat-pump heating the water for our farmhouse. We could use it to drive the under-floor heating, but it’s now too expensive to run, so we use a wood-burning stove indoors as well as this one here in our chapel.
Wood, biomass, as they call it, is not free, you have to spend valuable time cutting down the trees, or cutting up fallen ones, logging, chopping, stacking, seasoning, chipping the brush, bringing it all in and keeping the fire going.
Maybe we should install a gas boiler before our government ban them. Fossil fuels have so much more energy in them compared with wood. Gas would be cleaner, more efficient and probably cheaper, all things considered.
Not ‘a sin’ to burn gas and coal
For generating electricity, nuclear is the most sensible way. Bjorn Lomborg says nuclear plants are currently too expensive, but they cost peanuts compared with all the net zero money now being squandered. Until they come on line, we’ll have to burn those God-given fossil fuels and recognise it isn’t ‘a sin’ to do so.

(Video Transcript:) I was going to spare you any comment on the Scarlet Blake / Fangze Wang affair, which is on our website anyway, but it’s still drawing comment, with the BBC’s Samira Ahmed agonising about it on Newswatch last Saturday morning (2nd March 2024).
But an earlier piece on Saturday’s BBC news, where presenter Naga Munchetty interviewed MP Tobias Ellwood about threats to MPs without either of them once telling viewers where the threats were actually coming from, tipped the balance.
Questioning Reality
The media / political complex are manipulating us into doubting our own sanity, into questioning reality, into believing their absurdities. Well, you’ll only get the truth here, so let me show you how it works with half-a-dozen examples. Then we’ll see what to do about it.
We’ll start with Covid, where they pretended we were all equally at risk, that bacterial handwash and crude masks could stop an air-borne virus, that experimental gene-therapies were safe, fully-tested good honest vaccines. The Bible tells us there can be such people as ‘physicians of no value’. (Find all our Bible references below.) See: ‘Lockdown a failed experiment’
They do it on abortion. Not even pro-life MPs want to rock the boat by asking their pro-abortion colleagues what exactly is that in the womb? Is that a human being? Was the psalmist right to say ‘thou hast covered ME in my mother’s womb’ or not?
They are doing it over Russia / Ukraine, repeating that the Russians and ‘Putin’ are totally evil while Ukraine, Mr Zelensky, NATO, the US and the EU are as pure as the driven snow, so Mr Sunak can quietly send billions of pounds of your money to fight his proxy war and enrich his pals in the arms firms. People trot out lines they have learnt from the BBC forgetting the psalmist said: ‘I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.’
They are doing it, as I saw on Saturday morning (2nd March 2024), over Islam, much preferring to talk about Lee Anderson’s supposed ‘Islamophobia’ than admit the threats to MPs are coming from pro-Hamas Muslims and their leftist friends, from Islamists, in other words.
They pretend there is nothing wrong with mass Muslim migration and that they can replace our Christian constitution with multiculturalism.
You have Rishi Sunak claiming the UK is ‘the world’s most successful … multi-faith democracy’. Well did the prophet say: ‘truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.’
They let the education establishment get away with doing it over RSE, pretending they can show what amounts to pornography to children, lying that it is ‘age-appropriate’.
They’re also gaslighting YOUR children into believing it’s just fine to be promiscuous or homosexual and perfectly normal for a girl to decide she is actually a boy and be given life-changing drugs and mutilatory surgery, despite the Lord Jesus saying ‘They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.’
Which leads us finally to Fangze Wang, a deranged man who prefers to be called Scarlet Blake and pretend he is a woman, with Police, CPS, the judge and journalists colluding in his self-deception, hoping YOU won’t notice the one THEY are calling a woman is really a man. The Lord Jesus himself said God created us male and female, not ourselves.
It’s gaslighting built on absurdity. So what to do about it? Firstly, make sure YOU are rooted in the truth of both his word and current events. We’ll help you by looking behind the scenes and telling it as it is both here (our Youtube channel) and on our website so you can pray informed prayers.
Pray the Lord will raise up God-fearing men, change the hearts of the king’s ministers or replace them with men after his own heart. Pray for them to be what the Bible calls ‘able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness.’ Let’s be fully aware a general election is coming, and of what the opinion polls say, but let us never forget God does miracles. We’ll be saying, ‘this is the Lord’s doing and it is marvellous in our eyes.’

Illegal Migration by boat across the English Channel
What is the connection between Rwanda and Rochdale? The House of Lords has begun its look at the Government Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill. Meanwhile, the Labour Party have disowned their candidate for the Rochdale by-election, due to be held on Thursday twenty-ninth of February 2024. Furthermore, should Labour return to power, penning an article like this, or posting the video below, could become a crime . Read on to find out, or view our video:
Rwanda debates
The link is a religion followed by almost a quarter (24%) of the world’s population. But such is the fear any discussion of it provokes, noble lords have failed to mentioned Islam in any of their debates on the government Rwanda Bill so far.
Nevertheless, it is beyond dispute that the majority of migrants crossing the Channel are Muslim. Naturally, peers prefer the word ‘refugee’ over ‘migrant’ by a factor of ten to one.
Peers, including the Archbishop of Canterbury, have put down amendments which would have the effect of neutering the Bill. As is customary, they have not yet pressed any of them to a vote. That will happen at Report Stage or Third Reading. Follow the Bill’s progress here.
The Rochdale ex-Labour candidate is a Muslim career politician, Azhar Ali. He started off as a government advisor under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. The Establishment gave Mr Ali, then Labour leader of Lancashire County Council, an OBE for ‘services to the community’ just three years ago.
But Azhar Ali told a meeting of the Lancashire Labour Party towards the end of last year that Israel allowed the slaughter of their own people on 7th October 2023. He said: “The Egyptians are saying that they warned Israel 10 days earlier… Americans warned them a day before [that] there’s something happening… “They deliberately took the security off, they allowed… that massacre that gives them the green light to do whatever they bloody want.”
Mr Ali also spoke up for Labour’s suspended Andy McDonald MP, blaming “people in the media from certain Jewish quarters”. It was then that Keir Starmer disowned him
Pressure on infrastructure
In their debates so far, Peers have shown themselves uninterested in the pressure of unfettered migration on infrastructure. That’s not just the hotels and barges to accommodate alleged refugees, but the NHS, schools, social services, everything.
Housing Minister Lee Rowley MP has said planning laws have to be eased because of the pressure record immigration is putting on the availability of housing. Despite the housing shortage, the Home Office is paying for 16,000 homes for asylum seekers.
In addition, the economic case for mass migration, let alone illegal migration, has collapsed. Writing in the Daily Telegraph, Sam Ashworth-Hayes tells of ‘massive surges in investment needed just to keep pace with the influx of new arrivals’ as well as ‘increasing conflict between communities with radically different visions of what the country should be.’ The Institute for Fiscal Studies has done work on this. (Worth a listen).
Muslims in our society
Atiqul Hoque: antisemitic
But even more concerning is the effect of Muslims on our society. Azhar Ali was, is, part of the establishment. Yet he is now exposed as anti-Semitic. But it’s not just Labour.
The Tory Muslim mayor of Salisbury, now expelled from that party, Atiqul Hoque, blamed the Jews for the death of Jesus. The Metropolitan Police had an advisor on a strategic advisory body, a prominent mosque chairman, Mohammed Kozbar, who praised the founder of Hamas.
A senior Muslim Judge, Tanweer Ikram, freed three women displaying parachute images at a pro-Palestine protest earlier this month. It has emerged he liked a social media post referring to Israelis as terrorists.
Muslim doctor Mennah Elwan, a neurologist in Liverpool, claimed ‘there are no civilians in Israel’ shortly after the October attacks. A BBC Muslim Apprentice contestant, Asif Munaf, posted antisemitic comments about Israel. Cricketer Aseem Rafiq, who accused Yorkshire Cricket Club of racism, admitted to antisemitic comments. Fellow cricketer Moeen Ali, who plays for England, posted the Hamas flag on Instagram. These are mainstream, moderate Muslims.
Hatred of Jews paraded

We are seeing hatred of Jews paraded on our streets by Muslims, and leftists, on a weekly basis since last October, glorifying the Hamas attacks. Anti-Semitism has hit an all-time high in what is described as an ‘explosion of hatred’ against British Jews.
Why do Muslims routinely come out with all this antisemitism? It is because genocide of Jews is a Muslim article of faith. The Hadith, part of the Islamic scriptures alongside the Koran, have rocks and trees crying out for Muslims to come and kill Jews hiding behind them. It’s repeated in the Hamas Covenant:
‘Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla (servant of Allah), there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.’ (Hamas Covenant 1988 Article 7 quoting the Hadith of Ibn Umar.)
Labour’s blasphemy law
Fears are growing that Labour might extend their ‘Islamophobia’ policy into a Muslim blasphemy law in woke clothing. They adopted a Muslim-designed definition of ‘Islamophbia’ in 2019, along with the Liberal Democrats and the Scottish and Welsh Nationalists. The Party’s policy on ‘Islamophobia’ (worth a look) includes this example of ‘prejudice or hostility based on the protected characteristic of Islam’:
‘Accusing Muslims of being a “fifth column” or of lying or acting in ‘stealth’, and/or implying a Muslim, or Muslims in general, are inherently antisemitic, homophobic and/or misogynist.’
If their policy became law, it would almost certainly become an offence to quote the antisemitic Hadith above, let alone explain what it means. It would be illegal to talk about Muslim grooming gangs. But there would certainly be a reaction. The Labour Party say they are concerned about ‘far-right political groups’. Yet nothing would set ordinary people against Muslims more than censorship of views about Islam. Christian activists and free-speech advocates will be racing to see who can be the first to challenge such a law.
Then there is the attitude of Muslims towards women. Rochdale was where just one of the UK Muslim grooming gangs operated. News report.
Sky reports that four boys, aged between 14 and 12, have been arrested on suspicion of the rape of a young girl in a Rochdale supermarket car-park. The police won’t disclose their nationality, let alone their religion. They are under-age, but when the police hide those details we know something is up.
The fact is, our establishment will not acknowledge anything wrong with Islam or any problem from Muslim immigration as such. The mantra that ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ that ‘extremists have hijacked for violent ends’ has been going on since the attack on the Twin Towers in September 2001. No-one in the House of Lords will be rocking that boat. The only UK politician who has proposed: ‘a national strategy for defeating Islamism, and eradicating it in public life’, is Reform’s Richard Tice.
State must protect citizens

Yet a group of senior retired military officers, led by Major-General Julian Thompson (RM, Retired) have written to the Secretary of State for Defence to warn Mr Shapps against a proposal from the Army to dilute security vetting in order to boost representation of ethnic minorities. They say: ‘With Islamism and other extremism rampant, this is nothing short of dangerous madness.’
The prospect of sleeper jihadists crossing the Channel was not expressed at all in the House of Lords debates and is never articulated by government. It’s an obvious defence to the human rights argument.
The state has a God-given duty to protect its citizens and every Muslim is a potential threat to national security and for that matter to young girls in care. To our Jewish population, it has become clear that every Muslim is a very real threat. In the book of Romans, we read that rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. The point could easily be made if the elite were not in denial and in thrall to the pretence of ‘multiculturalism’ and ‘community cohesion’.
Bishops in the Lords

Bishops in the House of Lords have been at the forefront of wanting to scupper the Rwanda plan. The only reason Bishops are sat in the House of Lords is because this United Kingdom has a Christian constitution. Yet that too will be under threat should Muslims reach a tipping point in the population.
Bishops should know that in Bible times migrants accepted the spiritual foundation of wherever they found themselves. They did not start agitating for another god (and Allah is a different god) if they knew what was good for them.
In fact, the serious accusation that the early Christians were preaching ‘another king, one Jesus’, was levelled against the apostles in Thessalonica. They were smart enough neither to confirm nor deny the point, but the local believers swiftly evacuated Paul and Silas.
What result in Rochdale?

We shall see what the Lord will do in the Rochdale by-election on Thursday. The population of the constituency was 19% Muslim in 2021 and that figure is rising. If they all turn out and vote for George Galloway that could be interesting.
Strangely, much of what George Galloway stands for is on the side of the angels. He is pro-life, anti-woke, sticks up for workers and opposes climate fanaticism.
Sadly, it is what particularly endears him to Rochdale’s Muslims and leftists, his opposition to Israel, frankly indistinguishable from blatant antisemitism, which puts him beyond the pale for anyone with a heart for the Jewish people and the state of Israel itself.
Our leaders ignore the Lord
As for the United Kingdom, all our problems stem from our leaders ignoring the Lord. That is why they believe in absurdities like gender reassignment, the net zero stupidity, the 2020 lockdown, multiculturalism and diversity before defence, among many others.
The Bible says in too many places to count that wisdom depends on the fear of the Lord and that there is nothing better than wisdom and understanding.
There is so much wrong in our land, but the Lord Jesus said, ‘seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.’
Let them repent of their arrogance, of their political correctness, of their absurdities, seek the Lord in humility, return this land to our Christian foundation and proclaim, indeed, we should all proclaim, ‘Jesus Christ is Lord and King to the glory of God the Father.’

Lord Cameron thought he could persuade the Republicans in the US House of Representatives (Congress) in this article for The Hill newspaper by appealing to ‘global security’, whatever that means, and by citing Adolf Hitler.
‘I believe our joint history shows the folly of giving in to tyrants in Europe who believe in redrawing boundaries by force,’ said the Foreign Secretary. ‘I do not want us to show the weakness displayed against Hitler in the 1930s.’
But at the same time, ‘We have already destroyed almost half of Russia’s prewar military capacity,’ whoever ‘We’ are. ‘It’s Vladimir Putin who should be fearing failure. Almost a quarter of his Black Sea fleet has been sunk. He’s suffered almost 300,000 dead and wounded — more in two years of fighting than the Soviet Union suffered in Afghanistan over a decade. Russia has witnessed its first attempted coup in three decades, and its first debt default in over a century.’
So Russia is on the brink of failure but at the same time is threatening NATO and the West? It doesn’t add up. And what about this: ‘The West has helped Ukrainians liberate half the territory seized by Putin, all without the loss of any NATO service personnel.’ Ah, so the UK and US are going to stay well out of it ourselves, but we shall jolly well fight to the last Ukrainian?
In this article, Joe Lauria explains the difference between Revanchism and Imperialism. Western critics purposely or ignorantly confuse the two to serve their interests, he writes.
‘Succinctly, the difference is this: imperialists take control of a country that does not want them there and resists. A revanchist wants to absorb former imperial lands where the population is largely the same ethnicity and welcomes the revanchist power to protect them from an outside threat.
‘Yes, Hitler was being revanchist in his defense of the German-speaking Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia. But it was a first step in an imperial design to conquer countries that ultimately resisted him.’ The latter was ‘Lebensraum’, literally ‘Living Room’ a widely-stated German concept of expansionism and Völkisch nationalism, which involved initial expansion into the Soviet Union. There is nothing of that from Vladimir Putin, as even Hilary Clinton acknowledged as Secretary of State in 2010.
Mr Lauria writes: ‘Given the results of the four (Donbass) regional referendums in 2022, plus the one in Crimea in 2014, it is clear the people of those regions wanted to rejoin Russia after the (2014 Kiev Maidan Square) coup and the revival of Ukrainian extremism.’
Foreign leaders turning up to lecture populations or their lawmakers rarely goes down well. We remember Barack Obama at that press conference with David Cameron in April 2016, held co-incidentally at the Foreign Office. He laid out what he said were the perils of a leave vote in the EU referendum.
He explained he had the ‘temerity to weigh in’ on the matter because Brexiteers were saying the UK would be free to negotiate a trade deal with the US. Not so, said the then-President. Brexit would put the UK at the ‘back of the queue’ for trade talks.
His intervention delighted Mr Cameron and the rest of the Guardian-reading Remainers, but backfired as soon as ordinary people realised that ‘back of the queue’ is not an expression Americans use. They never ‘queue’, they simply ‘wait in line’. The speech was a set-up. It wasn’t real. It was irritating, pompous and condescending. We worked out that anything promoted by that class of people, the world’s elite, would probably benefit them and their friends rather than us.
Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted in response to Lord Cameron: ‘David Cameron should be concerned about the Nazis in Ukraine’s army, the Azov Battalion. We’re all sick of the absurd name calling,’ she went on, ‘it isn’t going to bully me into funding the war in Ukraine.’ She then told him where to get off in less than polite terms.
For that matter, ’is Lordship might address the open anti-semitism displayed weekly on the streets of London, by Muslims and leftists whom the Government is doing nothing to counter.
‘Don’t show weakness,’ he yelled at Congress. How can he even dare say ‘Don’t show Weakness’ after thirteen years of Conservative weakness culminating in the idea that a man can decide he is a woman and no-one can challenge his pronouns becoming the official policy of His Majesty’s Armed Forces?
David Cameron’s foreign policy legacy
We must remember this is the same David Cameron who voted for Tony Blair’s war in Iraq in 2003, and who even today won’t apologise for the Conservative Party’s role in backing it.
He is the same David Cameron who as Prime Minister wanted to blow Syria to pieces in 2013, was refused by the House of Commons, by just 13 votes, but proceeded to arm the Al Qaeda jihadists there instead. It’s the same David Cameron who launched air strikes against Libya in 2011.
As the Guardian reports, MPs on the Foreign Affairs Select Committee subsequently ruled his intervention in Libya was ‘carried out with no proper intelligence analysis, drifted into an unannounced goal of regime change and shirked its moral responsibility to help reconstruct the country’ following the murder of Muammar Gaddafi, leading to a failed state on the verge of all-out civil war, and today, to a staging post for migrants crossing the Mediterranean.
This is David Cameron’s foreign policy legacy. The moral high ground is for him a distant upland. At home, his legacy is Gay Marriage and his miscalculation of the Brexit vote. It was a good thing for the UK to escape the EU, but the people’s vote brought David Cameron down.
What the Lord says to David Cameron
His Capitol Hill intervention reveals a man possessed by extreme arrogance matched by scant self-awareness. His failures have never taught him humility. Rather than lecturing American lawmakers, he should be repenting in sackcloth and ashes for the destruction he wreaked both at home and abroad.
The Bible tells us (in Psalm 10) ‘The LORD is King for ever and ever’. The psalmist cries out: ‘Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. … Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: … LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: … that the man of the earth may no more oppress.’
To David Cameron he says, in the words of the prophet Haggai: ‘Consider your ways.’ The Proverb says: ‘Every one who is arrogant is an abomination to the LORD.’
And here for David Cameron and for the rest of the elite are the first recorded words of the Lord Jesus according to Mark ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.’

A devastating hailstorm wreaked havoc on a 5.2-megawatt solar farm in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, at the end of June 2023, according to the Institute for Energy Research. It destroyed most of its panels with baseball-sized hail moving at speeds of 100 to 150 miles per hour.
Despite being designed to withstand hail, the large hailstones exceeded the panels’ resistance limits, possibly exacerbated by high winds accompanying the storm.
The hailstorm, part of a massive super-cell thunderhead, swept through eastern Wyoming and into Nebraska, inflicting severe damage on the multimillion-dollar solar farm, which boasted over 14,000 panels operational since 2019. The system’s expected 25-year lifespan was drastically shortened to less than 4 years, leaving authorities grappling with the cleanup of the resultant toxic mess.
The incident raises concern about the reliability of weather-vulnerable power plants and the duration required to remediate the environmental aftermath.
In a recent report titled “Hail No! Defending Solar from nature’s cold assault,” GCube Insurance highlights the challenge posed by hailstorms in the solar industry.
Data collected over five years reveals hail-related claims averaging $58.4 million per claim, constituting 54.21% of the total solar loss claim costs. Factors such as inadequate risk models and fragile glass panels exacerbate vulnerability.
According to the report, this alarming trend is creating a significant gap between insurance requirements for solar projects and available market coverage, leading to project delays and cancellations.
The report highlights that solar manufacturers’ initiatives to lower the levelised cost of electricity (LCOE) have resulted in the adoption of larger, thinner, and more delicate glass panels. Additionally, selecting sites with higher hail risk increases financial vulnerabilities for future projects.
Climate change fanatics have been quick to attribute record-breaking hail incidents to the effects of climate change.
But even if a warmer climate will make more hail in some places, so what? Don’t build solar panels there. Protecting them with tilting motors and shields makes them more expensive and is more stuff to go wrong. And some scientists also admit the frailty of their knowledge. Who knew that?
According to an article by Scientific American, Italy witnessed a remarkable meteorological phenomenon as a colossal 7.6-inch hailstone, more than double the size of a softball, descended from stormy skies, breaking the European record just five days after a 6.2-inch hailstone set a new benchmark. According to the National Weather Service, this latest hailstone also approached the world record set in South Dakota in 2010 by a hailstone eight inches in diameter—almost as large as a bowling ball.
Contrary to expectations, experts (!) suggest that warming temperatures may increase the likelihood of hailstorms in certain areas, with more potentially damaging hail, anticipated even as the global surface warms.
Dr. Katja Friedrich, an atmospheric scientist at the University of Colorado Boulder, highlights the complexities of climate change effects on hail production, attributing them to factors like strong updrafts, atmospheric instability, and abundant moisture.
The Bible says, Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth forever.
Hailstorms are nothing new. In 1888, Moradabad, India, was struck by a deadly hailstorm, claiming the lives of approximately 246 people.
Reports described hailstones as large as ‘goose eggs and oranges’ and even cricket balls.
The event, one of the deadliest in history, caused widespread devastation and loss of lives. Historical accounts from the London Times and Nature, as well as A.W. Greely’s book “American Weather,” provide detailed narratives of the calamity.
John Eliot, a key figure in India’s Meteorological department, documented the severity of the storm. Although Eliot’s official weather records did not include specific death tolls, subsequent accounts by meteorologists supported the recorded deaths.
Mankind’s attempts to model the weather, let alone control it, are futile and arrogant. It will be far better to put the energies of mankind into measures to increase prosperity and mitigate the effects of adverse weather.

How does hail form?

According to the National Severe Storms Laboratory, hailstones form when raindrops are lifted into cold regions of the atmosphere by thunderstorm updrafts, where they freeze and grow by colliding with liquid water drops. The freezing speed determines if the ice is cloudy or clear.
Hail falls when the updraft can’t support its weight. Hailstones may have layers of clear and cloudy ice due to temperature and water content changes in the storm.
Winds inside the storm contribute to these variations. Hailstones don’t grow from cycling up and down; they need liquid water to grow, absent at high altitudes where temperatures drop below -40°F.
‘Although Florida has the most thunderstorms, Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming usually have the most hailstorms. The area where these three states meet–“hail alley”–averages seven to nine hail days per year. Other parts of the world that have damaging hailstorms include China, Russia, India and northern Italy.’
Hail formed one of the plagues of Egypt: Exo 9:24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
Signs of the Times
The ancients saw things like hail as the judgment of God: Psalm 18:13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.
In the book of Revelation, hail is described as a plague of judgment: Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
The Lord Jesus knows all about weather forecasting, but he challenges us to see the signs of the times: The Bible says, Matthew 16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
When we do that, we see that climate hysteria is part of a command-and-control agenda driven by a God-hating rebellious elite.

Let me be clear from the start: we are not against sound defence of the realm. Nor are we against sober warnings of possible risks. What we oppose is starting wars (think Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya) or being pleased with them (Ukraine) and talking up the prospect of war for personal or ideological reasons, stupidity or megalomania. And we also pray to have a God-fearing nation which is actually worth defending.
Summary
I’m Stephen Green. In this video, we’ll look at who is talking up war with Russia and wonder why. We’ll ask if UK armed forces are even capable of such an exercise. We’ll hear from the top US general on whether Russia is about to invade the West. We’ll ask if it is a good idea in spiritual terms to confess the prospect of war.
We’ll ask whether ordinary people every want conflict, we’ll find out precisely how a country’s leaders persuade their people to go to war and we’ll ask if our lot are satisfying the conditions. We shall ask where in the world we find corroded and schizophrenic countries which start wars. Then we shall wonder whether, after recent history, we can trust our politicians and media to tell us the truth, about anything. We’ll look at God’s own job specification for leaders.
We shall hear our Lord talk of wars and rumours of wars and ask whatever happened to the peace dividend. We’ll trace back the Russia-Ukraine conflict to its roots, and find out just why Western politicians hate Vladimir Putin so much. Finally, I’ll call for prayer, invite your comments and I’ll thank you, if you stay the course, for watching the video.
The alarm of war
It was the prophet Jeremiah who was pained at his heart because he had heard ‘the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.’ (Bible references below)
A NATO official, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer, said last month that the West should prepare for all-out war with Russia within the next 20 years. He urged governments to be ready to mobilise ‘large numbers of civilians’. If Admiral Bauer was declaring that NATO policy is now war with Russia, that would mark a distinct escalation in its approach, which has hitherto relied on Ukrainians to do all the fighting on its behalf. (Links are coming: check back tomorrow!)
Next, Germany’s defence minister, Boris Pistorius, reduced the timescale, claiming Vladimir Putin ‘could launch an attack on NATO in less than a decade.’
UK politicians join in
The psalmist wrote ‘I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.’
‘They’ appear to be all the elite. His Majesty’s Foreign Secretary, David Cameron, chimed in, telling eager listeners at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday 17th January 2024 not to appease Russia with peace talks over Ukraine, making a parallel with Hitler’s Germany and Neville Chamberlain in nineteen thirty-eight.
Then UK Defence secretary Grant Shapps said the West had moved from a post-war to a pre-war world. Now, apparently, there could be war within five years.
Finally, the British Army’s Chief of Staff, General Sir Patrick Nicholas Yardley Monrad Sanders, KCB, CBE, DSO, quickly called for Britain to train a ‘citizen army’ ready to fight Russia. Other European nations were taking steps, he claimed, to put their populations on a ‘war footing’. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak did not deny the claim, merely denying there would be any plans for conscription.
War ‘will stay in Ukraine’
Our members will recall us reporting on Sir Patrick’s outburst in June 2022. Just four months after Russia’s incursion into eastern Ukraine, General Saunders claimed UK forces would soon need to fight a land war in Europe. Just like David Cameron today, he found similarities with the nineteen thirties.
Happily, United States Chief of Staff General Mark Milley slapped our man down. Asked by the BBC’s Sophie Rayworth on ‘Sunday Morning’ to confirm that ‘Putin’ was about to over-run Europe like Adolf Hitler, General Milley drawled: ‘There is no reason at all why this war should expand beyond the borders of Ukraine, where it is right now. … We want to contain the war inside Ukraine.’
Mark Milley retired only last year. Of course he knew all the Russian generals. He is a learned man with one masters degree in international relations and another in national security and strategic studies. He spoke with authority. And as Mark Milley with all his insider knowledge predicted, inside Ukraine is exactly where the war has remained.
UK Armed Forces
General Sanders heads a below-strength army with a recruiting crisis following widely-criticised ‘woke’ advertising. His army has never enough money. His real war is always with the UK Treasury. Meanwhile, the Royal Navy cannot put even one of our two expensive aircraft carriers to sea because the ships have no catapults, hardly any planes, no operational stores ship and no support fleet capable of defending them. The Navy now say they will send HMS Queen Elizabeth to the Red Sea, but she will rely on American warships to defend her and carry a few expensive US F-25B Lightning jump-jets.
The RAF admit: ‘The Lightning’s short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) capability allows it to operate from the new ‘Queen Elizabeth’-class aircraft carriers.’ The cheaper, conventional Hornet cannot. It is embarrassing. The Navy is mothballing ships and deploying officers to equality and diversity. It has withdrawn its last serious ship defending the Falkland Islands, leaving a mere patrol vessel.
Having left off to take heed to the Lord, our leaders are prone to silly mistakes, lack of planning and plain stupidity. And General Sanders expects boys, and girls, to fight for a shower like that?
The Bible says: ‘Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually… For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.’ In the spiritual dimension, talking up the prospect of war is a dangerous and foolish confession from those who lead us. Words have power. The Bible says ‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue’.
Generation Z won’t fight – and why
Naturally, the papers are discussing whether UK millennials, or Generation Z, will bother to join the ‘citizen army’ of General Sanders.
In the Evening Standard, Emma Loffhagen asked, ‘Why are my generation so reluctant to don khaki and buzzcuts for King and country?’ She went on:
‘Of course, some people think they know the answer. Young people are “easily offended” and they “lack motivation”, Major-General Chip Chapman told GB News. Do these stereotypes really explain such a huge generational shift in military attitudes? I don’t think so.
‘More important is that, for my generation, the Army is simply no longer seen as a moral endeavour. As a 24-year-old, the last war in my living memory was not a barnstorming defeat of the Nazis, but rather a series of wars and invasions in the Middle East, exposed as failures and widely thought to be based on lies. The belief held by older generations that the British Army is solely a force for good in the world does not stand up any more. As Gen Z would put it: the military propaganda is not propaganda-ing.’
Goering’s Principle
Seventy-seven years ago, Hitler’s Deputy, Hermann Goering, knew these realities. He admitted to a US psychologist outside the Nuremberg trials that ‘the people don’t want war.’ Goering shrugged: ‘Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back … in one piece?’
The Reichsmarschall went on to articulate what we now call Goering’s Principle. He said irrespective of a dictatorship or a democracy, ‘The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy,’ he said. ‘All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger.’
Not being attacked
It worked here during Covid, but the problem our war-mongering leaders face now is that no NATO country is actually being attacked, except internally by jihadists, and our politicians won’t talk about that. Furthermore, there is simply no prospect of any NATO country being attacked. Russia is bogged down in a stalemate in its war in Ukraine, where General Milley says it will stay.
We don’t hear any desire to invade Europe voiced by the Russians. For all their sabre-rattling, the NATO establishment have just made assertions, not any kind of case based on evidence. They have botched Goering’s Principle at the first hurdle.
That is not say there are no parts of the world under threat. Israel is always being attacked, mainly by militias backed by the Iranian leadership (not necessarily by the Iranian people). The people of Taiwan are certainly threatened by China. It will take the grace of God to avoid war there, probably using a strong naval deterrent and a different US president. The involvement of Western trade interests in Taiwan shows it was even more of a strategic blunder, as well as a humanitarian catastrophe, for NATO to force Russia into the arms of China instead of keeping her closer to the West.
‘Corroded and schizophrenic’
Journalist Sherelle Jacobs, in yet another pro-war article in the Daily Telegraph, wrote: ‘What previous world wars teach us is that it is not confident and successful countries that start wars, but corroded and schizophrenic ones that both suffer from grandiose delusions and mortal dread of the future.’
Sherelle meant Russia, but that ‘corroded and schizophrenic country’ sounds much more like the United Kingdom, which over the last twenty years has helped start wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya. and is cursed with leaders having grandiose delusions and a mortal dread of the end of the world as we know it.
For Allister Heath, writing in the same paper, it is also the European Union, ‘condemned to death by its deluded, third-rate elites, incapable of recovering from its present economic, military and demographic crises’.
He went on: ‘There is no way back for a European continent that has embraced nihilism, post-Christian paganism, illiberalism and the politics of envy, that believes that saving the planet requires shutting down successful industries and impoverishing its people, that cannot face down Islamist extremism and anti-Semitism, and that won’t reform its welfare state.’
Credibility problem
Above all, our elite now face, not just Emma Loffhangen’s morality problem, but one of credibility. After the Covid gaslighting, the obvious follies of lockdowns, restrictions, masks and government and media psychological warfare, followed by the imposition of gene therapy drugs posing as vaccines, followed by the absurdity of the Great Reset, then the lies and stupidity of climate hysteria and Net Zero, the constant reference to chancers sporting male genitalia as ‘women’, we no longer trust our politicians or our mainstream media to tell us the truth about anything.
That’s more than a shame, because the Bible tells us leaders are ministers of God, but it also says they are to be men of truth, hating covetousness. That depends on them being God-fearing men. And it is essential for public confidence and the respect they should have.
Would it not be more righteous and lead to a blessing if His Majesty’s Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs was a force for peace in the world and the genuine trading interests of the United Kingdom, if he and Grant Shapps would ‘Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it’?
How the Ukraine conflict began
The Lord Jesus said we would ‘hear of wars and rumours of wars’ We should ‘be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom…’
This current mess arose because Western leaders now see geo-politics as a zero-sum game where if Russia, for example, does well, it must mean we have lost. They squandered the peace dividend, the opportunity presented by the fall of communism to build a cooperative world and reap the economic benefit of a decrease in defence spending. The trouble was, the peace dividend did not in any way benefit what U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower identified in 1961 as the ‘military–industrial complex’.
Their friends, including the Hawks in NATO, started saying we had ‘won’ the cold war, and Russia had lost, and needed their noses rubbed in it. The current war in Ukraine was sparked when the EU and the US helped by activists on the ground funded by George Soros deposed the elected but pro-Russian Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych in 2014 and installed the pro-Western Petro Poroshenko instead.
Where we are today
Since then, Russia annexed Russian-speaking Crimea and Ukraine has all but banned the Russian language, alienating the Russian-speaking Donbass region of Eastern Ukraine. Faced with calls to protect the Donbass and alarmed by the prospect of Ukraine joining NATO, Russia invaded. Russia sees NATO now not as the defensive force portrayed in our media, but as an expansionist aggressor.
Furthermore of course, Western politicians hate Russia because its president is pro-family and has banned gay pride marches, homosexual propaganda and George Soros. The Russians are also doing well building alliances and gaining trading partners in the Global South.
And so, in response to a demand from former secretaries of state for defence Sir Michael Fallon, Ben Wallace, Dr Liam Fox and Sir Gavin Williamson, Rishi Sunak has sent another £2.5 billion pounds to Ukraine to spend on armaments. The UK Government gave £2.3 billion pounds in 2022 and again in 2023. Nobody asked if every British working man and woman (33m of us) wanted to send £215 each to put Ukrainian and Russian young men in coffins and bereave mothers of their sons and young women of their husbands.
World Economic Forum
Last month, a day before David Cameron spoke at the World Economic Forum gathering in Davos, Ukrainian President Zelensky told the globalists what they wanted to hear, that his Russian counterpart does not want peace and is intent on expansion.
And yet, David Arahamiya, the leader of Ukraine’s ruling party, disclosed in November 2023 that Russia was ready to end the war and withdraw its troops in exchange for Ukrainian neutrality just a few months after the invasion began in February 2022. The offer was refused at least partly because ex-British PM Boris Johnson pressured Kyiv into continuing the fight.
Negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow were underway in Istanbul when Mr Johnson unexpectedly arrived in Kyiv on 9th April, 2022, telling Mr Zelensky that he ‘shouldn’t sign anything with them at all—and let’s just fight.’
Arms firms provide dinners
The ‘military–industrial complex’ are happy for the war to carry on. Armaments firms are making billions out of the Ukraine war. What is little known is that politicians are constantly rubbing shoulders with them at lavish dinners. According to Forces Watch, The arms manufacturers fund these gatherings under the ‘Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme’.

The AFPS then hold a sumptuous ‘Graduation Dinner’. Clearly the aim is to ensure more MPs and Peers are sympathetic to the UK Armed Forces, to armaments and also to military action. Forces Watch say ‘over 50%’ of the ‘more than 90’ parliamentarians who graduated were Conservatives, which means just under 50% were not. Labour’s Toby Perkins and Liz Kendall even posted a picture of them posing in a tank at an arms fair. Defence Secretaries regularly don military uniforms. Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has also appeared in military fatigues.
There may or may not have been a time for war, but from April 2022 it has surely been the time to beat those swords into ploughshares. It is a time to take the Lord’s advice through the prophet Jeremiah and build and plant. Somewhere in the world, secret negotiations are still going on. The Lord Jesus described the peacemakers as blessed and the children of God.

PRAY: We seem constantly to be praying for wisdom and against stupidity in our leaders, but let us remember to pray first for the Lord on high to send them a spirit of repentance, to seek his face in humility.
And if that is not to happen, pray for the good Lord to replace the warmongers, the fools, the delusional, the arrogant and the plain stupid among our leaders (and for that matter, those of other nations for whom we have a burden) with able men after God’s own heart. Pray the Lord will bless the efforts of the peacemakers, convict our leaders of their own need of the Prince of Peace and bring the Ukraine war to a swift end. Further afield, may Hamas be defeated and may Israel have peace. May Taiwan also have peace and stability.

Steel workers travelled by rail yesterday to lobby their Members of Parliament in advance of a debate on ‘Protecting Steel in the UK’.
Tata Steel own the steelworks at Port Talbot in South Wales, including its two blast furnaces, which make steel from iron ore. The Government has announced a plan to give Tata £500 million to close the blast furnaces, install electric arc furnaces instead and make 3,000 steel workers redundant. Watch our video:
’Decarbonise’ steel production?
The Port Talbot Blast Furnaces
The debate was moved (See Hansard HERE by the Labour opposition. Faced with an open goal of the absurdity of the Net Zero agenda, this is how their motion for debate began:
‘That this House recognises the need to decarbonise steel production…’ before complaining the government plan ‘will result in thousands of steelworkers losing their jobs and risk leaving the UK as the first developed country in the world without the capacity to produce primary steel … and is therefore concerned about the impact that the Government’s plans could have on national security’. It also worries about ‘irrevocably damaging working people’s trust in the opportunities the net zero transition could bring.’
The reality is that ‘carbon’, in the form of coking coal, is essential to the process of making primary steel. As it burns, the coke in the blast furnace ‘robs’ the oxygen from the iron oxide ore, releasing the iron in a molten form. See HERE. You can’t ‘decarbonise’ a blast furnace.
The electric arc furnace is for a different purpose, to melt down and recycle scrap ferrous material into lower grade steel. As the FT reports, each arc furnace uses colossal amounts of electric power, enough for a small town, which has to be generated using, in the absence of a thriving UK nuclear power industry, er, fossil fuels.
The Guardian (see below) describes electric arc furnace as ‘a greener and cheaper process.’ It is true, it is cheaper in that it uses fewer men to operate it, and it may be quicker, but it does not yet make new high-grade product. That being said, the UK only currently recycles 3 million tons of scrap steel. Sir Robert Goodwill observed in the debate and was supported by the minister Ms Ghani, that we export some 8 million tons to China, rather like Kenya, which exports all its iron ore to China and, like the UK, buys steel back. We should be recycling our scrap steel mountain here.
So blast furnaces and electric arc furnaces are not an ‘either/or’ but a ‘both/and’.
The COP28 conference in December agreed to contribute to ‘transitioning away from fossil fuels in energy systems, in a just, orderly and equitable manner, accelerating action in this critical decade, so as to achieve net zero by 2050 in keeping with the science,’ according to the final global stocktake draft text.
It spoke about ‘accelerating efforts towards the phase-down of unabated coal power.’ Greta Thunberg was angry with the agreement not going far enough or fast enough for her. But then again, whenever isn’t poor Greta angry?
However, note that the ‘transition away’ from fossil fuels was specifically stated as being for ‘energy systems’. It did not and does not apply to plastics, transport or agriculture. Nor does it apply to the manufacture of new iron in blast furnaces.
So there is no reason for the UK to close the blast furnaces in Port Talbot, at the cost of thousands of jobs and the UK’s steel security, becoming the only G20 nation which cannot make virgin steel, all the while citing ‘climate change’.
A similar crazy deal at Scunthorpe will mean the UK ending up as the only G20 country that cannot make steel from raw materials, As the Guardian reports. Yet neither the Guardian, nor the senior Union and Labour politicians they quote, seem to have spotted their opportunity to criticise a plain stupid act of UK virtue-signalling and self-harm.
Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch even decided to portray the agreement with Tata Steel with a straight face as ‘a great deal. Not just for Port Talbot, but for the UK’, she said.
Thousands of jobs at risk

Mrs Badenoch ventured: ‘What I would say to people who are concerned about job losses is that we do understand and we have a transition plan in place that’s funded up to about £100 million to make sure that people have skills to retrain and move on to other things if they don’t want to stay in the steel industry.’ Move on to what ‘other things’? Picking strawberries? a ‘green job’ in lobbying?
Gary Smith, GMB general secretary, retorted: “The jobs of thousands of steelworkers are now at risk. The cost to local people and the wider Port Talbot community will be immense. “Once again, we have the spectacle of leaders talking up the fantasy land of a ‘just transition’ while the bitter reality for workers is them getting the sack.”
Did anyone ask the voters if we wanted to stop making primary steel and throw thousands of men out of work?
The absurdity is that the raw steel will still be made, merely elsewhere in the world, in countries like China and India which do not have a spiritual death-wish.
Indeed, The Guardian reports Tata Steel is doing exactly that, and opening a huge new blast furnace in India. The Guardian accuse Tata Steel of ‘hypocrisy’ failing to notice it is the UK Government net zero policy which is doing the damage. In the Commons debate cited above, only Sir John Hayes spoke out against the net zero agenda. Trudy Harrison (Copeland) (Con) spoke up for the West Cumbria Woodhouse colliery and its coking coal for blast furnaces.
Prayer and Action
Ensuring the UK’s security in this uncertain age is the God-given responsibility of the state. To close industries and deliberately impoverish working people is not to love thy neighbour. It is stupidity and oppression. Israel in the Old Testament was a beacon of excellence for worshipping God and keeping his holy laws, not for national suicide or stopping men from working.
It is almost as if an evil spirit of national rebellion and destruction, a covenant with death, has wormed its way into the corridors of power. Or perhaps the stupidity is being sent by the Lord as judgment as it was on Rehoboam. Either way, our politicians need to repent, seek the Lord, stop doing WEF-approved evil, and start doing good.

Witch (or shaman) blowing on the panellists at 2024 WEF meeting at Davos
At first glance it had to be a spoof. But no, a witch (or shaman) was actually given centre stage at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. In a video tweet, Michael Knowles comments: ‘The WEF invited an actual witch to cast magic spells on its panelists.’ Charlie Kirk has also tweeted asking: ‘What in the fresh hell is this?’
Incantations
In the video, you can see the witch, probably a woman, making incantations before blowing across the audience and then blowing on each of the five panellists in turn. It took place in Davos from 14th-19th January 2024. WEF claims 3,000 leaders from 120 countries attended. The theme was ‘Rebuilding Trust’!
The pro-WEF ’BNN Breaking’ gushed: ‘This symbolic intersection of the old and the new underscores the inclusive and diverse nature of dialogues at the WEF.’ Inclusive? When the Lord Jesus breathed on his disciples, they received the Holy Spirit. What spirit were those panellists receiving? Anyone God-fearing would have a mile before allowing her to breathe on them, or just rebuked the demons behind it..
Witch (or shaman) started with incantations.
For BNN Breaking, it was ‘a striking blend of tradition and modernity’ where ‘Traditions Meet Global Discourse’. ‘A witch doctor took center stage, performing ancient incantations and rituals, captivating attendees and stirring animated discussions.
‘The inclusion of a witch doctor’s performance is a clear testament to the forum’s openness to different cultural practices and perspectives. The witch doctor, chanting and blowing air on attendees, created a spectacle that was as much a topic of discussion as the economic and political debates.’
Apparently, this is not the first time for such ‘traditional practices’ at Davos. ‘In 2023, the WEF hosted a similar event, highlighting its commitment to integrating diverse cultural perspectives into contemporary global discourse. … The recurrence of such performances indicates a consistent intention to incorporate a broad range of voices and views in the discussions on global development and sustainability.’
But is that all there is? Are the WEF high-command just doing ‘diversity’? Are they ignorant of the spiritual dimension of inviting a witch to cast spells on stage? Or do they know full well what they are doing? Have they sold their souls to the devil himself?

You might conclude that at the very least, the presence of a witch at WEF Davos reveals that paganism is not far from the heart of gatherings of the elite. It might even remind you of a certain period in recent German history, set out here by Eric Kurlander and and here by Samuel Koehne.
But for ‘BNN Breaking’ it ‘is symbolic of the intersection of cultural diversity and economic dialogue. It serves as a reminder that in our pursuit of economic progress and sustainability, we must not overlook the richness of our cultural heritage. It’s a testament to how the WEF is leveraging cultural diversity as a platform for robust economic discussions, fostering a global dialogue that is as much about preserving our past as it is about shaping our future.’
It might even remind us of the Lucis Trust, the brainchild of Alice Bailey inspired by theosophist Madame Blavatsky. This esoteric NGO, with its moon-cycle invocations and celebrations of pagan festivals, has consultative status at the United Nations.
The globalist elite turn to witches and mediums and turn their back on the true God and the King of kings, the Lord Jesus Christ. Is it any wonder they come up with oppressive ideas like the Great Reset Video where ‘You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy’?
We should be doing more in prayer against these anti-christ elements. Yes, the Lord will have them in derision, Christ, the Lord of lords and King of kings, will put all enemies under his feet. But if we are with him as the called, and chosen, and faithful we have no option but to join the spiritual battle.

Stop Press: Mr Sunak was flying to Kiev as we went to press to give President Zelensky £2.5 billion of UK taxpayers’ money for more weapons.

We were about to celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace in December 2023 when four former UK defence secretaries urged Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to stop ‘dithering’, as they put it, over more UK funding for Ukraine’s war effort against Russia.
The UK Government gave £2.3 billion pounds in 2022 and again in 2023 but has not yet announced how much will be sent in 2024.

Former Secretaries of State for Defence, Sir Michael Fallon, Ben Wallace, Dr Liam Fox and Sir Gavin Williamson are all demanding the British taxpayer stump up at least another £2.3 billion pounds. That’s forty pounds for every man, woman and child in the United Kingdom.
It’s enough money, as the BBC show here, to buy two and a half thousand MRI scanners or pay for four hundred thousand hip operations. The Government have already given twice as much as that already. But no-one asked British taxpayers if they wanted to pay that money. As usual, the elite have just decided it and imposed it on hard-pressed people.
More young men in coffins

The money will put more Ukrainian and Russian young men in coffins. The war-mongers think that makes them look tough. Three of them have even been pictured in military fatigues. Ben Wallace couldn’t keep out of them. Macho Gavin Williamson was pictured on a training course ‘breaking the ice’.
The man who started the idea of the UK fighting Russia to the last Ukranian, Boris Johnson, wore civies as he walked around in Kiev meeting Vlodomir Zelensky. But he too has been pictured in military garb.
It goes without saying that none of the four former defence secretaries nor Mr Johnson, nor Mr Sunak will actually go to the front line and put their own lives at risk.
A no-cost demand

The psalmist says: Psalm 120:7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
In fact their demands for more weapons cost them nothing. Meanwhile, in the real world, the war in Ukraine is at a standstill. It’s advancing nowhere and still destroying lives and property on a daily basis. It’s killing young men, bereaving mothers and making widows of young women.
It is a tragedy, and the United Kingdom bears responsibility for advancing it and cheerleading for weaponry around Europe and in the Americas. The British Government does not care about the lives of British subjects. It is of course not their job to care, it is their job to protect. They may say it is not their job abroad to do either. Ukrainian, let alone Russian, lives do not matter to them. But when they deliberately put foreign lives at risk rather than seek peace, that invites judgment.
The Bible says: 1Pet 3:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
Follow the money
It all becomes clear when we follow the money. The UK’s billions are going to the arms manufacturers. What is little known is that politicians are constantly rubbing shoulders with them at lavish dinners.

Merry Christmas (it still is, until Epiphany (6th January)!) and a Happy New Year.
Calling January ‘Veganuary’ and using it to promote ultra-processed vegan foods has hit its peak, although supermarkets and newspaper articles are still promoting it.
Given all that hype, a new year is a good time to took at how we can eat more healthily. After all, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and we have a God-given duty to look after them and stay in the Lord’s service for as long as he gives us on this earth.
That is not to neglect prayer and worship, but it is to reject the modern fads of the world and return to something more simple, something more godly.
Veganism is on the slide
Launched in 2015, ‘Veganuary’ hit a peak in 2019, but has been on the slide ever since. ‘Plant-based’ meat substitutes are now struggling as well.
The Telegraph reports that last year, Nestlé withdrew its vegan ranges as “not viable” while British sausage company Heck shelved most of its vegan sausages and burgers. ‘Meatless Farms’ stopped trading. ‘Beyond Meat’, launched in 2012 with investment from Bill Gates and Kim Kardashian, announced sales had fallen from its 2019 high by almost a third. Heather Mills’s ‘Vbites’ has filed for administration. The bubble has burst.
Tim Spector in the Daily Telegraph urging us to avoid UPF fake food.
In a well-researched article in the Telegraph, journalist Tim Spector urges us: ‘Don’t eat fake food’, by which he means ultra-processed, often plant-based concoctions.
One definition of ‘UPF’ says: ‘Ultra-processed food is an industrially formulated edible substance derived from natural food or synthesized from other organic compounds. The resulting products are designed to be highly profitable, convenient, and hyperpalatable, often through food additives such as preservatives, colourings, and flavourings.’
The problem is, UPFs don’t do us any good. See this informative article on food from British Heart Foundation. UPFs coud be shortening our lives, perhaps by ten years. That is before we consider the unseen effects of all the various additives UPFs need to give them shelf-life and make them palatable. Why do so many people today have so many allergies and mental conditions which were completely unknown fifty years ago? Could what we are eating and feeding to our children have something to do with it?
In another article, Hattie Garlick asserts that ‘meat is better for your health than you think’. Meat and dairy products carry important vitamins like B12 which we can’t find naturally anywhere else.
Cattle, and all ruminants, turn what we can’t eat into what we can.
Animals such as ruminants are on God’s earth for one reason. It is to turn what carnivores and omnivores cannot eat (that’ll be grass) into what we can, which is their highly-nutritious muscle-meat. They are prey animals whose destiny is to be eaten. There is also a spiritual dimension. When we eat them, we participate in the divine eco-system. All food is food ‘out of the earth.’ Not for nothing did the Lord single out all cattle, sheep and goats as ‘the beasts which ye shall eat’. (Bible references are below.)
Yesterday, on New Year’s Day, farmer and former MP Neil Parish listed all the nutrients in milk and dairy, putting Andrea Rymer of the Vegan Society on the back foot on GB News. Clearly, vegans have to jump through too many nutritional hoops.
Last month, BBC presenter Ade Adepitan aired a spectacularly ill-informed programme on Channel 4 calling on the public to eat chicken instead of beef as part of effort to curb climate change as Farmers Weekly reported. He assumed all beef is raised in US-style feed lots, ignoring grass-fed UK beef farming altogether. Naturally, there was a Net Zero angle, with Ade insisting the ‘climate cost of beef is the highest of any foodstuff’. It isn’t. 26% of the earth’s land surface is covered with grass. What does he think is going to eat it if cattle don’t? And the environmental costs of UPFs? Totally ignored. While you are here, sign our petition:
So how to avoid Ultra-Processed Food? Items like fruits, raw vegetables, salad crops and nuts are not processed at all, and we can be eating more of them. Some of us will also try to source organic fruits and vegetables to avoid possible contamination with pesticides and herbicides. And there is nothing better than growing your own. Perhaps we could even start eating fruits and vegetables in season again.
Meat pie baked on the author’s farm
Humans are unique among God’s creatures as the only ones who cook our food. We can regard that as his gift to us. In the kitchen, whenever you take raw food materials and cook them, you are processing the food. Cooking is processing, but it is not ultra-processing, which relies on additives you will never find in your kitchen. Too many people exist on ultra-processed convenience food, and jobs depend on it, but I would call on Christians to opt out. An omelette is easy to cook, more nutritious and additive-free compared with a shop-bought pizza.
In our house, we eat as naturally as we can. We eat butter, never, as actress Emma Chambers had fun with here: ‘I can’t believe it’s not butter’. We bake our own bread, from organic flour. A ‘ready-meal’ never crosses the threshold. We always cook from scratch. Left-overs come back the next day, or the day after that. Best-before dates, even use-by dates, we treat as advice, not gospel truth. There is almost zero waste. And as the Lord commands, we enjoy our food and drink. It’s doable.
Check the ingredients!
Fake Milk: UPF M!LK, from ‘The Coconut Collab’.
When shopping, check the ingredients listed. If there are more than five, or if there is anything which you can’t find in your kitchen, leave it on the shelf.
That rules out anything calling itself ‘milk’. In fact you’ll often find these hyper-processed foods pretending to be something they are not. You’ll see vegan labelling with the word ‘chicken’ highlighted but negatived or crossed out, as in the Aldi fake nuggets above. The ‘plant-based’ brand ‘Beyond Meat’ is still pretending there is a nutritious sunlit upland ‘beyond’ waiting to be discovered. But there isn’t. It’s all additives and E-numbers and ultra-processing.
For example, there’s a new plant-based ‘milk’, called M!LK, from brand ‘The Coconut Collab’. The packaging makes it look like real milk, but it has to claim it is ‘surprisingly un-coconutty-tasting!’ Who is paying £2.25 for a litre of something with twelve ingredients including additives, stabilisers, emulsifiers, esters, flavourings, regulators and salt, which cannot even make up its mind what it tastes like?

Bible Diet?
You might be tempted to think a plant-based diet is a ‘Bible diet’ if you read no further than the first chapter of the book of Daniel. But Daniel refused the king’s meat not because it was physically unhealthy but because it was spiritually tainted, having been sacrificed to idols.
Daniel refused to be defiled. That is the teaching we are meant to absorb, along with obedience and the power of God. A modern-day application, a ‘Daniel Diet’, if you like , would be to refuse halal meat in a shop and to avoid Muslim restaurants and take-aways with a halal sign in the window.
Nor is a plant-based diet taking us back to the Garden of Eden. We agree that in the beginning, God gave mankind and all animals herbs ‘for meat’. With the fall of mankind, that ship has sailed. Going on, after the flood, God told the sons of Noah: ‘Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you’. We can never again achieve the innocence of the Garden. The blood of Jesus does not take us back to an Edenic paradise, it restores fallen men and women to fellowship with God. Eden is gone forever, but replaced in God’s providence with something far better.
Stay healthy: Eat a balanced diet
This is the take-away, although not in order of importance:
(1) Eat and enjoy healthy food in a balanced diet,
(2) Avoid anything ultra-processed,
(3) Forget modern godless food fads,
(4) Cover yourself and those you love in prayer for health and protection,
(5) Give thanks constantly for God’s mercies, new every morning,
(6) Exercise as you can, for this while on earth,
(7) Confess and speak good to yourself and those you love,
(8) Seek the Lord in his word. Start our Bible Reading Plan.

The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) has proposed that men who identify as “transgender” serve sentences in female prisons, even if they have a history of violence against women.
The SPS report said men should be provided the opportunity and support to work towards being housed in a jail cell that aligns with their “affirmed” gender.
‘Trans criminals should serve time in female jails to allow them to prepare for life as women on release, according to the new guidance for Scottish prisons.’
The SPS policy was unveiled last week. Part of the report states that male criminals with a history of violence against women could be housed in a female prison if there was “compelling” evidence they did not pose “an unacceptable risk of harm”.
But the detailed guidance on its operation stated that even those deemed too dangerous to be housed in women’s prison could still be allowed to mingle with female inmates in other settings. This is a recipe for disaster.
‘There may be other ways of supporting their gender identity, for example through access to work parties, activities, or even programmes with others of their gender identity,’ the report added.

Repeal the Gender Recognition Act 2004
As leaders strive to put this country together, it is crucial to pay attention to issues that could put citizens in danger. It is also crucial to acknowledge the significant role played by the Gender Recognition Act (GRA) 2004 in exacerbating problems and contributing to avoidable crimes.
The recently proposed SPS protocol, set to be implemented on February 26, 2024, again states that male (trans) offenders would “not be eligible to be considered for admission or transfer to a women’s prison” if they had been convicted, or were awaiting trial or sentencing for a series of crimes such as murder and rape.
The term “trans” itself raises concerns, whether applied to individuals with a criminal history or law-abiding citizens. Consequently, Christian Voice remains steadfast in its advocacy for the repeal of the Gender Recognition Act 2004, the exclusion of ‘gender reassignment’ from the Equality Act 2010, and the establishment of legislation prohibiting puberty-blockers and ‘gender-affirming’ mutilation.
SPS reponds
A spokesperson for Scottish Prison Service, said: ‘Our new policy supports the health, safety, and wellbeing of all people living and working in Scotland’s prisons, by taking an individualised approach to the admission, placement, and management of transgender people.
‘We will carefully consider a range of factors, including offending history, with a particular focus on violence against women and girls, when assessing risk.’

Protection for female inmates watered down
The new SPS report shows that the rights and protection of female inmates is no longer prioritised.
Women’s rights campaigners and members of the Conservative Party have warned that the newly implemented policy, which was introduced in the aftermath of the Adam Graham scandal (now Isla Bryson), drastically waters down protections for female inmates.
Mr Graham was convicted of raping two women before claiming to be a “woman”. Meanwhile, in September, a paedophile claimed to be a woman before appearing before a Court over the possession of indecent photos of children.
Dominic Mark Carter, now ‘Sophie Louise’ Carter, attended Southampton Crown Court dressed in a pink shirt, pink shorts and pink nail polish, posing as a woman.
In the meantime, the approach will continue until the new policy officially comes into force on 26 February 2024.

Patients at an NHS trust are being asked to choose what gender identity they are from a list of options, according to the Telegraph.
The options include, ‘Demiboy’, ‘Genderfluid’ and ‘Questioning’.
The form, administered by the Royal Brompton, which is run by Guy’s and St. Thomas’s NHS Trust, has over 10 options for patients to select from.
From a drop-down menu, patients are invited to choose from: ‘Agender, Another gender not listed here, Choose not to disclose, Demiboy, Demigirl, Female, Gender fluid, Male, Non-binary, Other, Questioning, Transgender male or Transgender female.’
NHS is pro-trans: The Equality Act allowed King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to paint this ‘Progress Pride’ abomination on a walkway at their Princess Royal Hospital, Orpington.
It is utterly absurd that the NHS Trust would dedicate so much time to consider different genders in their online forms in the name of ‘inclusion’, rather than invest the same energy to figure out how to clear the backlog of appointments.
The Bible says a lot about misplaced priorities, much of it about the wisdom of putting God first rather than man. For example: Prov 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Meanwhile, in October, Health Education England officials were ordered to scrap an NHS training manual that told staff to declare their pronouns to patients.
Steve Barclay, the then health secretary, said the materials were symptomatic of the ‘ideological dogma’ pervading the health service. Because Health Education England is ‘a non-departmental public body accountable to the Secretary of State’, he had his way. But NHS Trusts, on the other hand, are self-governing and not accountable to the Government. As the Nuffield Trust says (on page 10): ‘Foundation trusts are
genuinely independent and not subject to ministerial direction’.
Professor Karol Sikora, the oncologist who received the form from the Royal Brompton, told the Telegraph he was asked to decide his identity after a small operation six weeks ago.
The procedure ‘had nothing to do with my sexual orientation. It is not my goolies that were operated on,’ he said.
‘They sent me a follow-up for an appointment in the clinic and with it came a form, which I had to fill in online. As predominantly older people are the ones who go to outpatient clinics, little old ladies in Clacton are getting that to fill in. It’s ridiculous that we’re spending money on this.’
Professor Sikora said he feared the form is being sent out across other hospitals and was concerned that it would be ‘mainly elderly Brits given this sort of stuff that only applies to a tiny minority.’
Guy’s and St Thomas’ has defended itself as expected.
The spokesperson said: ‘As part of providing personalised care to our patients, we give them the opportunity to provide us with a range of personal information, including gender identity.
‘Patients have the option not to disclose this information if they prefer.’
Of course they do, but they should not be asked such intrusive, insulting, unbliblical nonsense in the first place.
The absurdity of men using tampons
A Finnish company called Vuokkoset has released a new sanitary (tampon) product for men. In the company’s attempt to promote gender propaganda, they claim that ‘periods are not a gender issue’.
The sanitary product was launched earlier this month to coincide with ‘Transgender’ Awareness week and ‘International Men’s Day’. These days, that includes women pretending to be men.
The tampon comes in a dark blue box which bears the words ‘For Men’ on one side, but then extends this phrase around the packaging so it eventually reads ‘For Menstruation.’
Biologically and logically speaking, tampon and men should never be used in the same sentence. Moreover, it is Biblically clear that men cannot be women, and vice versa, regardless of the amount of mutilation they have undergone.
We must pray that this absurdity stays in Finland, that the product bombs there and the company goes bust..
Menstruating while undergoing ‘hormone therapy’
No, this is not a man in the tampon ad. This is a woman pretending to be a man.
It is common sense to know that it is women who experience menstruation, as long as they have not hit menopause or are pregnant. Therefore, the idea of a sanitary product for a man is preposterous.
Vuokkoset, the owners of the sanitary brand, even confirms this by saying females who go through mutilation to become men might continue to experience menstrual cycles even while undergoing hormone treatment to change gender or may choose not to have such therapy at all and so will still have periods.
They added that studies show that 93 percent of mutilated women (‘trans-men’) have experienced menstrual-related gender dysphoria, a sense of unease a person may have because of a mismatch between what they think they are and their actual sex as discerned by the midwife at birth.
Periods do not define womanhood?
Dakota Robin’s facial hair is the result of taking the male hormone testosterone.
It is the highest form of disregard for women to be told that going through periods does not define womanhood. Despite the wokeness of some NHS Trusts, the central NHS defines period as ‘the part of the menstrual cycle when a woman bleeds from her vagina for a few days’. Men do not have periods.
The face of the “For Men” tampons advertising campaign is Dakota Robin. She is a Finnish woman who says she’s a man. She has grown facial hair as a result of taking testosterone hormones. She also claims to be a ‘human rights activist’. In other words, she is campaigning for assumed ‘trans rights’.
Miss Robin ventured: ‘By changing attitudes and broadening perspectives, we can also stamp out discrimination against gender minorities. The least anyone can do is to understand that periods do not define womanhood and understand the diversity behind them.’
The Bible says: Matthew 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female.
Like the Pharisees our Lord challenged, Dakota Robin has not read.

At this time of writing, in early December 2023, some 97,000 delegates and 300,000 hangers-on are meeting at the climate alarmist COP28 jamboree in Dubai. It’s the biggest ever, with, some are saying, the biggest ever ‘carbon footprint’.
Meanwhile, the Government have passed what the Daily Telegraph describes as an ‘anti-motorist’ net zero vote. The ‘Zero Emission Vehicle mandate’ will enact quotas for the sale of electric cars. The mandate will require 22 % of cars sold by manufacturers to be electric from next year. By 2030, the quota will gradually have risen to 80 per cent.
This is despite Mr Sunak pushing the all-electric date back from 2030 to 2035 in a speech in September. MPs say if electric cars are that good they will sell themselves with no need for government force. The measure passed by 381 votes to 37. See how your MP voted here. Telegraph’s report (£) is here.
King Charles gave the opening speech on Friday 1st, (or watch it on YouTube)(Comment on Daily Sceptic) telling the assorted sheiks, princes and politicians to gang up on the masses and deliver Net Zero: They must ‘bring together our public, private, philanthropic and N.G.O. sectors ever more effectively, so that they all play their part in delivering climate action.’ He said: ‘It is encouraging to see industry transition plans being developed, both nationally and globally, which will help each sector of our global economy onto practical pathways to a zero-carbon, Nature-positive future.’
When you read the transcript of his speech on the Palace website, you see that the King always deifies ‘nature’ by giving it a capital ‘N’. ‘We belong to the earth’, he concluded, ‘The Earth does not belong to us.’
That’s not what the Bible says, when God blessed mankind and told Adam and Eve to ‘be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:’ The earth, or nature, is a created thing, like us. Mankind are stewards of it. It does not ‘own’ us, as His Majesty believes. It is not a god.
To support his pitch, the King spoke of ‘seeing alarming tipping points being reached’. Like what? He failed to name any. He said: ‘I have spent a large proportion of my life trying to warn of the existential threats facing us over global warming, climate change and biodiversity loss.’ Threats to our very existence? The world was warm in Roman times and in the Middle Ages. We’re still here, Your Majesty. Some time back all the dinosaurs went extinct. That was Biodiversity loss on a grand scale. We’re still here, sir.
Writing in the Telegraph, Peter, Lord Lilley, says he has asked ministers to name a single peer-reviewed study accepted by the IPCC (the UN body established to assess the science of global warming) that forecasts the extinction of humanity if the world takes no action to phase out fossil fuels. He found out there isn’t one.
Incidentally, he also says when he was one of just five MPs to vote against the absurd Climate Change Act in 2008, he was the only MP who asked to see the ‘Impact Assessment – the cost-benefit analysis’ for the Bill. It showed the costs outweighed the benefits by a factor of two-to-one. He goes on: ‘But, then and since, our political class has put reason aside, preferring to use this issue for virtue signalling’. Once again, as our previous article showed, it was and still is the politics of absurdity.
Referring to his many calls for ‘climate action’ and ‘Harmony’ with ‘Nature’, the King said: ‘All these decades later, and despite all the attention, there is thirty per cent more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere now than there was back then, and almost forty per cent more methane.’
Yes, Statista reports there was 315 parts per million of CO2 in the atmosphere in 1959, and 419 parts per million in 2022. And we’re still here. Plants can’t photosynthesise much below 200 ppm, while the ideal for them, according to the Province of Manitoba in Canada, is around 1200 ppm. Some growers provide supplements of CO2 to make their plants more productive. Carbon Dioxide is not a poison, it means more food for ordinary people. Even the alarmist NASA admits the earth is becoming greener as a result of the extra CO2.
As for Methane, Statista says ‘Precise figures’ ‘are difficult to quantify’, but I sense the King is punching down on livestock farmers, other than him, of course, whose animals produce methane. Then again, humans produce methane, even kings, apparently.
Where are livelihoods ‘laid waste by climate change’?
His Majesty said: ‘The dangers are no longer distant risks. I have seen across the Commonwealth, and beyond, countless communities which are unable to withstand repeated shocks, whose lives and livelihoods are laid waste by climate change.’ Where in the world is this happening? He didn’t say. There is no support for his statement anywhere.
The King constantly confused weather with climate. He claimed, ‘East Africa is suffering a decades-long drought’. It isn’t. Even CNN eventually has to admit the horn of Africa is suffering a five-year drought brought about by La Nina weather patterns. But elsewhere, for example in the East African country of Rwanda,according to the World Bank, there is more rainfall than a century ago. The king blamed this year’s ‘severe’ wildfires on climate change. No, it was arsonists what set fire to forests in Greece and Canada.
Highly political
The elite, including the King’s Great Reset friends in the World Economic Forum, which is supporting COP28, of course, try to pretend Net Zero is not political. That’s how the King thinks he can get away with a speech which was highly-politicised.
He told the leaders, ‘we need – in the order of four-and-a-half to five trillion a year – to drive the transformation we need’. That’s the cost. Dollars presumably. And who pays for it? Not King Charles. Nor does it grow on those trees he wants speculators in the Shard to plant with taxpayers’ cash.
That money for Net Zero will come from taxes raised and profits from stuff sold to you and me. The population of the world is around 8 billion. Do the maths. The king’s Net Zero is going to cost every man, woman and child on Planet Earth at least $570 dollars a year each. Possibly over $600 each. Per year. The Archbishop of Canterbury told King Charles at his coronation in May to be a servant of the people. So has the King asked us if we want to pay that? Was it in any party manifesto?
96 months to save the world!
In July 2009, Prince Charles, as he was then, told an audience of industrialists and environmentalists that he calculated that we had just 96 months, a mere 8 years, left to save the world. Charles said we could no longer afford consumerism and the “age of convenience” was over. Not for him of course.
Fourteen years or 168 months later, the earth has not come to an end. We’re still here. The sky has not fallen in. He was wrong then. I suggest the royal alarmist and bon viveur is wrong again.
We read in Genesis chapter 8 and verse 22 that ‘seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will always be there while the earth remains. That’s the Lord’s promise. But News Agency Reuters tells us, along with Google, the BBC and the rest of the mainstream media, without any backing, as if it is holy writ, that the burning of fossil fuels ‘is the main cause of climate change’.
Fossil fuels, or the sun?
Historically, it is the activity of the sun which has always driven climate change. We believe the earth and its complicated and seemingly chaotic atmosphere, its physics and its chemistry, the moon and the sun were all put together by an all-powerful Creator. Man’s attempts to model it, let alone influence it, seem a bit pathetic, a bit vain-glorious.
It was left to chemical engineer, Sultan Dr Ahmed Al-Jaber, the COP28 president, to tell his guests there is ‘No science’ behind phasing out fossil fuels and it isn’t even necessary to achieve the Paris Agreement’s artificial target of 1.5 degrees C. The Telegraph reports he is even going to increase production of oil. The Gretas of this world will not be happy with that.
They won’t hesitate to litigate. One of them, environmentalist and evolutionist Chris Packham has already filed a High Court legal challenge to the UK Government for its decision to delay the electric car deadline by five years.
However, to support Dr Al-Jaber, it was only fossil-fuel power stations which kept the UK from freezing in the November/December 2023 freeze-up. According to the Telegraph, renewables failed completely with the lack of both wind and sun, and because successive governments have failed to build enough nuclear power stations, coal and gas had to fill the gap. The gas network too was at maximum capacity to heat the nation’s homes. Electric heat pumps turned out to cost a fortune as they struggled to extract enough heat from the cold air to keep people warm.
You’ve heard how they want to turn Port Talbot into an Electric Arc Furnace (which uses scrap steel) and close the blast furnaces (which make new iron) and put 2,000 guys out of work? According to the Bible’s book of Hebrews, the Lord Jesus upholds all things, that’s all things, by the word of his power. Paul tells the Colossians that the Lord Jesus ‘is before all things, and by him all things consist’.
The Bible also tells us, in Psalm 2 about the ‘kings of the earth’ imagining ‘vain things’, coming together to plot and plan ‘against the LORD, and against his anointed.’
In our day, King Charles and the nobles, the presidents, prime ministers and politicians, their advisors and the climate lobbyists and financiers are fulfilling that prophecy. They will all wine and dine sumptuously in Dubai and clap each other on the back for their virtue signalling, before flying home in their private jets to tell you to eat less meat, go electric, travel less, turn the heating down and put on a jumper.
Thank God that he will have the last word. The Bible says he will laugh at them and have them in derision. Find all our Bible references just below:

Immunology expert and Professor of Oncology at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London, Angus Dalgleish, has said all mRNA vaccines must be banned at once, in an article in Conservative Woman, .
According to Prof. Dalgleish, In the summer of 2020 a paper he co-authored, which described the findings of an Anglo-Norwegian team of scientists who had deonstrated unique ‘fingerprints’ of laboratory manipulation in the Covid virus, was suppressed in both the US and UK.
‘Accusations of dramatic variations in batch-to-batch variability – an absolute ‘no no’ in vaccine manufacture protocols – which could explain why side effects were more common in some batches than others were denied but were borne out by definitive Danish research report.’
‘To put it bluntly, this means that they are not vaccines at all but Genetically Modified Organisms that should have been subject to totally different regulatory conditions and certainly not be classed as vaccines.
‘All this data, which is slowly breaking through into the public domain, comes hard on the heels of the latest findings that booster vaccines actually increase the chance of getting infected by 3.6 times.
‘It gets worse. Supporters of this technology have claimed that it can be adapted to chase new variants. But it can’t. … In one study, all bivalent-vaccinated mice which were challenged with Covid became ill.
‘At the end of last year I reported that I was seeing melanoma patients who had been stable for years relapse after their first booster (their third injection). I was told it was merely a coincidence and to keep quiet about it, but it became impossible to do so. The number of my patients affected has been rising ever since. I saw two more cases of cancer relapse post booster vaccination in my patients just this last week.
‘To advise booster vaccines, as is the current case, is no more and no less than medical incompetence; to continue to do so with the above information is medical negligence which can carry a custodial sentence.
‘No ifs or buts any longer. All mRNA vaccines must be halted and banned now.’

The papers and media (See ITV news HERE) are reporting that the 2030 ban on petrol and diesel cars may be delayed by five years as Rishi Sunak waters down his net zero pledges.
Some Tory MPs have welcomed the proposals, which will also involve pushing back the ban on gas and oil boilers. climate fanatics are furious. The BBC is talking of ‘a blizzard of criticism’. The motivation, says the Telegraph, is to ‘mark a clear line between the party and Labour at a time when it is struggling in the polls’. But the punitive quotas on how many EV’s manufacturers must sell between now and the cut-off date remain.
To be in accordance with scripture, it isn’t enough for bans on petrol and diesel cars and gas and oil boilers to be put back. There should be no bans at all. The law of God bans things which are evil, things which should not happen. That is things like murder, adultery, theft, false witness, even blasphemy and idolatry in a civilised country. Buying the sort of car the establishment think you should not buy can never be illegal in the eyes of God. Installing a boiler which happens to be the wrong sort in the eyes of the elite can never be ‘against the law’.
That’s because all laws are or should be in accordance with the laws of God.
The Prophet called out to God: Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
To go outside the laws of God into some sort of top-down command and control mentality is human arrogance. And that is whether or not there really is a climate emergency, as the media never tire of telling us.
Never forget, scientists are funding-driven and that means they are agenda-driven. They, like media folk, mix with politicians. It took the Covid debacle to reveal how science can follow policy, rather than the other way round. It also showed us how the media can swiftly become propaganda channels for government. Now we have seen all that, we cannot forget it.
Those who lead us are fallible, ambitious, self-serving human beings. They get things wrong. They focus on the short-term, on polls, on headlines.
The Lord Jesus asked: Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
The answer is, ‘British politicians and their civil servants’. They have not counted the cost of their net zero policies. They commanded that all new vehicles sold after 2030 should be electric. They may now be pushing that back five years. That decision alone makes my point. It is policy made up on the hoof. If 2030 can become 2035 overnight, the policy never had any rational basis. Did they ever think it through as the Lord Jesus assumed normal, rational human beings would do?

Did they count the cost of all the charging points they would need for all the EV’s they demanded we buy, how people in flats would access them, how they would generate all the electricity they would need for them in time, and for all the electric heat-pumps they are instructing the public to install, how they would expand the electric grid by their self-imposed deadline to transport all the electricity they would have to generate, or even whether that electricity would remain affordable? The answer to that is ‘No’.
Did they run tests to check the life of the batteries or consider how people would pay for a new one once the old one expired? Did they assess the environmental and social impact of mining the materials for all the batteries the cars would need? Is there any installed capacity or environmental risk assessment for scrapping the old batteries? Did they ask where in the world the batteries would be made and the impact on domestic security if they and the cars and heat-pumps were made overseas? Did they even consider the impact of much heavier vehicles on roads and car parks? The answer to all these questions is ‘No’.
Renewables

They have commanded and skewed the electricity market with subsidies paid for by consumers through green taxes to drive through the installation of wind turbines and solar panels. The Climate Change Committee has a graphic showing renewables generating two-thirds of our electricity by 2050.
Have they put in place equivalent capacity from nuclear power or fossil fuels to cover those days when the sun doesn’t shine, or shines too much, or when the wind doesn’t blow, or when both of those happen together? Is such back-up capacity even being planned? Are the investing in clean coal technology or buying British nuclear plants?
For that matter, have they ruled out installing solar panels on farm-land and insisted they go on roofs? Have they told us the expected life of the turbines and the solar panels and planned for their disposal or recycling? The answer once again to all that is ‘No’.
Arrogance, stupidity and dishonesty
Not only are those who lead us so arrogant that they legalise things God says in his word are evil and promote them, not only are they so lacking in humility they distort the market by banning things God never banned, but they are so stupid they do not even cost it out and so lacking in wisdom they fail to think any of it through.
On top of that, they lack the honesty to admit it. The exact same cocktail of arrogance, stupidity and deceit meant that Covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions and the imposition of mRNA vaccines were both carried out in opposition to the laws of God and were neither costed out nor thought through.
Covid corruption
Stephen Lighfoot, the Chairman of the MHRA through 2020-2023, had shares in vaccine producer Glaxo-Smith Kline. Director Amanda Calvert had shares in vaccine producer AstraZeneca.
Did they seek the Lord before ordering lockdown? Did they ask the public whether it was acceptable to classify some economic activity as ‘non-essential’ and ban it? Did they consider the effect on the national collective immune system and mental health of confining people to their homes or forbidding old folks from seeing their children and grand-children?
Did they conduct a dispassionate assessment of the effectiveness of face-masks and anti-bacterial hand-wash against an air-borne virus? Did they conduct the standard regime of even medium-term testing before they rolled out a vaccine employing innovative mRNA technology? Did they insist no-one with shares in pharmaceutical companies could sit on a regulatory board?
The answer, once again, is ‘No’. Instead, those in office and their advisors gave contracts for largely unnecessary protective equipment to their friends. To the previous mix of arrogance, stupidity and dishonesty they added corruption.
Bribery and corruption are specifically condemned in the word of God: Exod 23:8 And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
Changing people’s diets?
The Telegraph reported: ‘(Mr Sunak) is expected to say that there will be no policies to change people’s diets or to encourage carpooling, and no new taxes to discourage flying. He is also likely to rule out burdensome recycling schemes, including a proposal for seven bins, with six separate recycling bins plus one for general waste.’
Even to say that carries the implication that civil servants and government advisors might be considering such policies.
It should not even be under discussion whether people should be free or not to eat whatever they want and travel how they wish. The Government should not even be considering skewing the market in these areas with ‘sin taxes’.
As the Prophet Ezekiel told the rulers of his day: Ezek 45:9 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD.
Finally, if, as we are told, the bans and impositions are mandated by the Climate Change Act 2008 and the 2050 Target Amendment Order 2019, then those acts of folly must be repealed.

PRAY: Thank God for this backtrack from Mr Sunak in answer to our prayer. Tell God it does not go far enough. Pray the Government will remove the ‘net zero’ targets, policies and impositions altogether. Pray for ministers to repent and have the fear of God and seek his face in humility for wisdom, honesty and to love their neighbour. May they understand that to be a ruler is to be the servant of all.

Last week, the world was told that children should have the right to take national governments to court for failing to tackle climate change. But in fact, this is the United Nations using children for its own ends.
The recent report from the Committee on the Rights of the Child commends the efforts of children for being vocal on environmental crisis. It claims that it is children rather than adults who possess the kind of wisdom necessary to tackle the problems it says are ‘facing the planet’. It calls for legal affirmation and validation of the authority of children.
The Bible says wisdom is with elders, not children: Job 12:12 With the ancient is wisdom, and in length of days understanding.
The Prophet Isaiah even describes the rule of children as a curse: Isaiah 3: 4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. 5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.
But the new report praises ‘the efforts of children’ for drawing attention to ‘environmental crises’.
The new report says adults are unfit to make major world-changing decisions. It puts children in a place of authority.
Part of its statement reads; ‘The efforts of children to draw attention to these environmental crises created the motivation and were the momentum behind the present general comment. The Committee benefited immeasurably from the contributions of children at its 2016 day of general discussion on children’s rights and the environment.
‘A diverse and dedicated children’s advisory team, comprising 12 advisors of between 11 and 17 years of age, supported the consultation process undertaken for the general comment, with 16,331 contributions from children, from 121 countries, through online surveys, focus groups and in-person national and regional consultations.’
The publication even quoted the children’s comments: ‘The environment is our life. Adults should stop making decisions for the future they won’t experience. We are the key means of solving climate change, as it is our lives at stake.’ ‘I would like to tell [adults] that we are the future generations and, if you destroy the planet, where will we live?.’
The Bible tells us to respect what has been put in place by previous generations: Pro 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.
In 2019, Greta Thunberg became famous as the prominent figure of the school strike for Climate movement when she was only 15 years old. In the subsequent year, she received a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. Her acclaim has consistently been rooted in her criticism of adults, whom she accuses of shirking their responsibility for environmental issues.

The 17-year-old activist wrote on the Friends of the Earth website, ‘Adults are letting us down when it comes to climate change, which is why I am striking.’
The use of Greta Thunberg by the elites follows a familiar pattern. The UN is sold out to climate fanaticism and thinks it can use the voices of children to achieve ends which the more sober-minded might be inclined to reject.
During a speech delivered at the United Nations climate-change summit in December 2018, Ms Thunberg declared, ‘Given that our leaders are acting irresponsibly, we must now shoulder the responsibilities they ought to have assumed long ago.’ But all that means is they do not agree with her, not that they are irresponsible.
A regressive trend
Children have readily embraced the call to doubt the intentions of their elders. They are willing to attend rallies and protests which often feature posters proclaiming messages such as ‘You’ll Die of Old Age, We’ll Die of Climate Change’ or ‘I Am Skipping School Because You Are Neglecting Our Future.’

Furthermore, during an anti-Brexit protest in London, a sign boldly declaring ‘Adults Ruin Everything. Stop Brexit’ encapsulated the broader sentiment of holding adults accountable, extending beyond environmental concerns. This can only be cultural decadence where children are used to fuel ideologies.
The UK has a ‘youth parliament‘. We read: ‘Once elected, Members of Youth Parliament meet with MPs and local councillors, organise events, run campaigns, make speeches, hold debates, and ensure the views of young people are listened to by decision makers.’
In reality, the ‘youth parliaments’ are run and insulated by adults. No child is able to lobby their youth ‘member of parliament’.
Leaders count the cost
Parents and leaders are put in the place of authority for a reason. Their age and experience of life imbues them with wisdom. Their role is to lead, provide counsel in times of chaos, make meaningful decisions, and provide for the family. God has not reversed these roles.
The UN committee is engaging in a dishonest attempt to promote its political agenda through the medium of children’s rights. But encouraging children to speak against the authority of their elders is disrespectful and a sin before God.
The Bible establishes a wider principle of respect for elders when it states: Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
In addition, it is adults, not children, who are given the job of planning for the future, making all the decisions to do with cost-benefit analysis: Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

Swiss researchers have found that a dose of Moderna’s Covid jab injured the hearts of about three percent of people who received it.
Vaccine Jab
There were no apparent indications of heart damage among the vaccinated individuals. However, after conducting blood tests three days following the vaccinations, researchers identified elevated levels of troponin in numerous recipients.
Troponin is a protein that the heart releases in response to injury.
‘Subclinical mRNA vaccine-associated myocardial injury is much more common than estimated based on passive surveillance,’ the researchers concluded. The paper was published in the peer-reviewed European Journal of Heart Failure.
Over 1 billion people have received mRNA jabs. The study suggests tens of millions of them may have suffered heart damage, and don’t even know they have been hurt.
The researchers conducted the tests on 777 employees at University Hospital Basel, one of Switzerland’s top medical centers, from December 2021 through February 2022.
The employees had already been scheduled to receive mRNA boosters and were asked if they would undergo a blood test for troponin levels three days later.
In other words, the researchers conducted “active surveillance” on them to trace potential side effects, as opposed to “passive surveillance” vaccine safety systems like the federal government’s VAERS, which depend on patients or doctors to report problems.
More Women at risk
The Moderna vaccinees had an average age of 37 and few preexisting heart problems. About 70 percent were women.
The researchers reported that 20 of the injured recipients were women, while only two were men. Even adjusting because more women were tested, women were almost five times as likely to have elevated troponin.
Many studies have shown that young men are at the highest risk from mRNA-caused myocarditis and pericarditis, or acute heart inflammation, following the jabs. But this study suggests women may be suffering more subtle damage. Read our related stories;

Covid-19 Jab
Recently, a man took legal actions against AstraZeneca over vaccine complications that led to his wife’s death. The lawsuit alleges that the vaccine is a ‘defective product’ and ‘unsafe.’
Meanwhile, in December 2022, Andrew Bridgen (MP) called for the immediate cessation of all Covid vaccines, describing it as ‘clear and robust data of significant harms and little ongoing benefit’. He said a conspiracy of silence was preventing a wider discussion about the issue.
Covid: Scandal or Fiasco?
In November 2020, the National Audit Office compiled a report on the procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The report was called ‘Investigation into government procurement during the COVID-19 pandemic’.
According to the NAO’s report, the government awarded 8,600 contracts worth £18 billion between January and July. £17.3 billion of the money went on brand new contracts. £12.3 billion of it went on PPE. Much of it went to companies owned by friends of ministers and advisors. Members of UK regulatory authorities owned shares in pharmaceutical companies. Directors of vaccine companies and the academic departments they financed rubbed shoulders with those in power. The corruption was blatant.
Isa 1:23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.
Christian Voice has consistently asserted that the practice of injecting healthy individuals with the blood of aborted fetuses remains an inappropriate response to whatever agenda the government may be promoting.
The Bible says: Luke 5:31-32 Jesus answered and said to them, Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
Moreover, it is even more grievous to utilise the blood of innocent children under the guise of a scientific experiment, and to make vaccines using cell lines from aborted babies, as was done.
The Bible also says, Exodus 23:7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
Even at this time of writing (August 2023), University College London, where lockdown enthusiast (and lockdown hypocrite) Professor Neil Ferguson works on research for vaccine companies, is lying to students that Covid-19 is among ‘certain illnesses’ that ‘Students are more at risk of … than the general population.’ See UCL Vaccination page HERE. Of course the opposite is true, as even the World health Organisation admits (in an article trying hard not also to acknowledge the adverse effects of lockdowns and restrictions).

The Telegraph reports that UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has annoyed the climate cultists by promising to allow new licences for North Sea oil and gas despite his own tough environmental targets.
However, there is, as yet, no backing away from the cult of Net Zero. Mr Sunak even claims he can ‘convince his daughters’ that increasing UK oil and gas production is ‘good for net zero’.
UK Energy Security and Net Zero (sic) Secretary, Grant Shapps MP, says not pressing ahead with North Sea drilling would be ‘irresponsible’ and ‘mad’ as failure to do so would force the UK to import more energy from abroad.
Rt Hon Kemi Badenoch MP
While Mr Sunak obsesses over what his daughters think, his Business Secretary has raised the alarm over a Government edict coming into force in January 2024.
In just five months’ time, warns Kemi Badenoch, the zero emissions vehicle (ZEV) mandate will fine motor manufacturers £15,000 for every petrol or diesel car they sell if at least 22% of the new cars they sell are not electric vehicles.
Meanwhile, Joseph Mullane in HomeBuilding reports that Government plans to ban oil boilers and insist on heat pumps in rural areas from 2026 have led to a Tory revolt, with former minister George Eustace MP describing the idea as ‘a ‘ULEZ’ for rural households’.
Chris Stark, chief executive of the Climate Change Committee, has admitted he is still heating his flat with a gas boiler four years after saying he would install a heat pump. The capital cost is ‘too high’, it’s ‘very difficult’ to install and electricity is too expensive to make the switch, he told the House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee last month. On top of that, his local gas fitter told him the heat pump will ‘never work’. HERE is the actual transcript. Look for Q420.
The Climate Change Committee is behind virtually all the lunacy being inflicted on ordinary people. It recommended the ban on the installation of gas boilers in new homes from 2025, on oil boilers from 2026 and the ban on the sale of new gas boilers altogether from 2035.
These diktats might please the elites ministers meet at climate conferences but their Biblical job description is not sucking up to the World Economic Forum, it is honouring God and safeguarding their own people. Motor manufacturers will shut up shop and ordinary people will lose their jobs and shiver in their homes unless the Government rescind the Net Zero absurdity.
But as Will Jones points out in Daily Sceptic, doing so will require repeal of most if not all of the Climate Act 2008. That would be politically inflammatory but if presented in humility as a proposal by a party it could prove electorally beneficial for them in a year’s time.
Security is a Biblical imperative
It is a Biblical imperative for the leaders of a nation to honour God, love their neighbour, and in wisdom and humility make sure their people are secure. In the book of Judges we read what happened when the Israelites had bronze-age technology while surrounding nations had embraced the iron age: Jdg 1:19 And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.
After the fall of Jerusalem in 587BC, the Prophet Jeremiah complained in his Lamentations: Lam 5:4 We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us.
We see from these words how much people rely on technology and on utilities and energy security. It is prudent of leaders to ensure that and irresponsible of them to ignore it. If you prefer, it shows a lack of wisdom in them, but that traces back to a lack of humility, which itself comes from thinking they can do without the Almighty: Prov 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
But we should also bear in mind the Lord can and does send stupid decisions on leaders as judgment for disobedience to his laws and idolatry. He did exactly that to Solomon’s son and successor Rehoboam: 2Chron 10:15 So the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the LORD might perform his word… (worth reading the whole passage.)
Repentance brings its reward
Nevertheless, if the leaders of a nation are taking the people in the wrong direction, the prophet says they should recognise that and have the humility to make a u-turn: Ezek 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
The Net Zero agenda has been rushed in and the establishment appear to be ploughing on with no regard for the fast-emerging consequences. The Bible urges wisdom and realism in the face of haste and self-satisfaction: Prov 14:16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
Prov 21:5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.
The Prophet Hosea also urged humility, repentance and seeking the Lord, and gave a promise: Hos 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
And Christians all know this word, which in its context applies to a nation which has dedicated itself to the Lord. Archbishop Welby and King Charles did that on behalf of the United Kingdom in the Coronation service just three months ago. We are a nation under God today, just as much as Israel was then: 2Chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Those for whom climate alarmism has become a religious cult immediately weighed in on the North Sea decision. According to the Guardian, Mike Childs, head of policy for Friends of the Earth, and clearly not one given to moderation or understatement, said: “Climate change is already battering the planet with unprecedented wildfires and heatwaves across the globe. Granting hundreds of new oil and gas licences will simply pour more fuel on the flames…’
Only two weeks ago the BBC was gleefully reporting on a heatwave in southern Europe. It was brought about by the atmospheric jet steam driving a high-pressure system over the Mediterranean Sea drawing up hot air from the Sahara. The same jet stream deluged the UK with rain. It’s called ‘weather’.
The Greek government blamed the wildfires not on global warming but on arsonists. With dry undergrowth to set fire to, it is not clear how a can of North Sea oil would have started their fires any better, despite Mr Child’s advice.
UN’s Apocalypse Now!
But even Mr Childs has been outdone in rhetoric by the Secretary-General of the UN. The UN’s own website reports António Guterres saying just last week: “Climate change is here. It is terrifying. And it is just the beginning.” He went on, “the era of global warming has ended” and “the era of global boiling has arrived”.
‘Global boiling’? Just where on earth is water boiling out in the open air? The language is used to terrify the population. It will be ‘global apocalypse’ before we know it. One commentator suggests the climate fear-mongers could soon become a laughing stock. In the book of Job, we read of the sea monster Leviathan: Job 41:31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
But that’s his breath churning the sea. Leviathon is not being boiled alive. There is a strong thread of nature-worship going on here, and the Bible strongly warns against raising up created things, instead of God, to divine status: Deut 4:16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, 17 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air, 18 The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth: 9 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
Uxbridge has scared MPs
But if the BBC and UN are setting out to terrify the population, that is nothing to what the Uxbridge by-election has done to members of parliament. The Conservatives held it by opposing the Ultra-Low Emissions Zone being extended across Greater London by the Mayor Labour’s Sadiq Khan. Now they have suddenly realised that the Mayor’s war on less affluent car drivers and ‘white van man’ is deeply unpopular.
There have already been calls from Jacob Rees-Mogg and Iain Duncan Smith to delay the ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars due in seven years time, in 2030. A website reports: ‘More than 40 Tory MPs and peers, including Jacob Rees-Mogg to and Iain Duncan Smith, have written to the Prime Minister asking for the ban be delayed to 2035, since it will do “grave harm to the economy”.’
Reaching Net Zero by 2050 is a legal commitment, stemming from Theresa May’s 2019 amendment to the Climate Act 2008. No MP voted against Mrs May’s big idea. But that was then, and now, the idea of a government spinning ‘love thy neighbour’ into impoverishing them now to save them from a nebulous climate catastrophe in fifty years time is beginning to look like an electoral liability. Iain Duncan Smith’s website even says his party ‘must stand against net zero’ altogether.
Rishi Sunak’s North Sea pledge is clearly a nod in Mr Duncan Smith’s direction, but he will be torn between the new climate sceptics and the climate fanatics in his party.
Electric fanaticism
Cardiff Council is reduced to charging its electric bin lorries with a diesel generator.
Pushing back the imposition of electric cars from 2030 to 2035 is only a delay of five years. There is no chance of the infrastructure, pylons and charging points, being ready by then. And how do the climate fanatics expect the electricity to be generated when the wind dies down and the sun shines too much, or fails to shine at all? They hate the obvious solution, nuclear power. They must expect the people to shiver.
As if to illustrate the lack of wisdom in our godless politicians, Nation Cymru reports that Cardiff Council, having bought some nice new electric bin lorries, found it did not have enough electric charging capacity. It is now using diesel generators to charge the muck-carts. The energy losses in the generator, coupled with those of the batteries and transmission, on top of the cost of the lorries and the environmental damage their components have caused around the globe, means the ‘environmental impact’, let alone the cost to local taxpayers, is far worse than if the Labour authority had stuck with diesel lorries.
Limitations of heat pumps

The Scottish National Party wants to compel households north of the border to rip out their gas boilers and install heat pumps instead. Businessman William, Lord Haughey owns a company producing heat pumps. Daily Sceptic reports the entrepreneur and Labour peer telling the SNP it’s too cold in Caledonia for them to work efficiently or cost-effectively.
We have a air-source heat pump on our farmhouse in Wales. The house is a newbuild. It is well-insulated and has underfloor heating. Heating it with the heat pump was economical when the price of night-time electricity was 11p per unit. But now it is twice that, we cannot afford to heat the house with it anymore. By the grace of God we have a wood-burning stove which does the job.
Our heat pump still heats the water, but as Lord Haughey observes, only to a temperature which will not kill legionella bacteria. So an electric immersion heater comes on once a week to do that. To bear out his lordship’s other point, although the salesmen tell you a heat pump will still work when the outside temperature is below zero, what they never admit is that it has to work for much longer to extract what little heat there is. So that 2kw fan is spinning twice or three times as long and the efficiency plummets. In Braemar at -27C? Forget it.

King Charles and the Prince of Wales are both signed up to the elitist climate agenda. When US president Joe Biden paid the UK a visit in July 2023, they agreed to drive up ‘climate donations’ from the private sector.
At Windsor Castle, the two heads of state joined participants from the Climate Finance Mobilisation Forum and charity sectors to work out how to ‘encourage’ private companies to abandon fossil fuels and support ‘clean energy’. One major focus of the meeting was how to advance their green agenda in ‘developing economies’.
One aim of the Climate Finance Mobilisation Forum is ‘to release private climate investment in emerging economies’. The King is said to be passionate about preventing developing economies reaching our standard of living by burning their readily-available fossil fuels.
The gathering was also convened by the above mentioned UK Energy Security and Net Zero Secretary (he really is called that oxymoron) Grant Shapps and US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (ditto) John Kerry.
According to guidance on the royal page, the Monarch has a ‘less formal’ role as ‘Head of Nation’. The Sovereign acts ‘as a focus for national identity, unity and pride; gives a sense of stability and continuity; officially recognises success and excellence; and supports the ideal of voluntary service.’
As sovereign, he is expected to remain impartial and not to share his personal views on political matters. The late Queen Elizabeth II never made her views public. She was dutifully performing a role. However, the climate cultists like Mr Kerry have attempted to lift climate fanaticism above politics, just as was done with Covid lockdowns and mRNA vaccines. That the earth is warming, that people are at fault, and that we must all travel less, eat less meat and shiver in homes we can’t heat they present as an article of faith. The King plainly agrees.
The debates over ULEZ and Uxbridge and the discussions at Windsor Castle could affect millions of lives. Abandoning fossil fuels and embracing unreliable renewable energy, as the World Economic Forum elites demand of the lower classes will have implications for economies, for national budgets, for industry and for living standards and household bills. Will ordinary people and the developing world stand for it? Or will they be with the Bible:
Ezek 45:9 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD.
King called for population control in developing countries
In June, 2010, King Charles, as the then Prince of Wales, called for population control and praised the success of ‘family planning services’ in overseas countries.
According to the Telegraph, he delved into the sphere religion by calling for the traditional religious views of the sanctity of life, which oppose the use of artificial contraceptives (condoms, IUDs and hormonal drugs), to be ‘balanced with the imperative to live within the limits of Nature’.
The King, like those condemned in the Bible’s book of Deuteronomy, has edged into worship of ‘Nature’ with a capital ‘N’.

Pray against evil and stupid leadership and for leaders to embrace the fear of God, humility, wisdom and understanding.
Pray against elitist decisions designed to destroy our national prosperity.
Pray that decisions from the UK and US to keep developing nations in poverty and to compel them to forgo fossil fuels will be confounded.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is under pressure to withdraw guidance for schools, recommending that children aged four and under be taught about “enjoyment and pleasure when touching one’s own body, early childhood masturbation”.
The organisation recommends that toddlers have “the right to ask questions about sexuality” and “the right to explore gender identities”. (Pictured right)
These topics are described by WHO as the “minimal standards that need to be covered by sexuality education”.
The World Health Assembly, with three delegates from each of the WHO’s 194 member states, is meeting in Geneva as we write. The delegates typically include a health minister, a health official, and your nation’s UN ambassador:
A Government spokesperson for the Department of Education told Christian Voice: “The UK Government does not recognise this WHO guidance and we don’t agree with its recommendations. We have not distributed or promoted it to schools.
“We offer our own guidance to help schools to teach children and young people about relationships and health. This is for primary school aged children and above.”
Christian Voice also contacted campaign groups who claim to represent children’s rights. Most declined to comment on this major issue involving the safety of children.
A spokesperson for Children’s Rights Alliance for England (CRAE) said: ‘The organisation is a very small team, and we haven’t looked at the WHO’s guidance on this. We also don’t do work surrounding this issue, so we are not able to comment on it’.
Barnados told us: ‘Unfortunately, we’re unable to help on this occasion’. Meanwhile, Save the Children Fund said: ‘We don’t have anything to add to this story, so we cannot help on this occasion’.
‘Children England’ are yet to get back to us. The Children’s Commissioner for England is yet to respond to our request for comment.
The UK Prime Minister reacts
The Telegraph reported that Mr Rishi Sunak is committed to bringing forward a review of statutory guidance on Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), in light of the “safeguarding scandal” of inappropriate materials being used in schools.
The Prime Minister made the pledge in the House of Commons in response to a question from Miriam Cates, MP for Penistone and Stocksbridge. Ms Cates also organised a letter to Mr Sunak from fellow Tory MPs.
She told Mr Sunak that children are being “subjected to lessons that are age-inappropriate, extreme, sexualising and inaccurate, often using resources from unregulated organisations that are actively campaigning to undermine parents. This is not a victory for equality, it is a catastrophe for childhood.”
The Bible says, 1 CORINTHIANS 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
MPs show concern
The Former Home Secretary Priti Patel MP, said: “It’s shocking to see what’s being taught to some children in our schools and concerning that parents are being ignored”.
Further, former Education Minister Brendan Clarke-Smith, who also signed the letter from Miriam Cates asking the Prime Minister to review sex education for children, warned: “To present contentious issues to young minds as facts is totally wrong”.
MP for Mansfield, Ben Bradley, stated, “I don’t think people have any real sense of what some children are being taught in their schools. I’ve spoken to many parents who have been horrified by some of the content”.
The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 18; 6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
No to sexualisation of children
Frank Furedi, executive director of the think-tank, Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) said: “The exploitation of young people for political ends is already causing serious damage. The promoters of sexuality education are disorienting and disturbing kids.
“They are plunging them into a crisis of identity from their very earliest years onwards”.
On Spiked-online, Professor Furedi went further: ‘The purpose of the WHO guidance, which has been eagerly taken up by educational and health authorities over the past 10 or so years, is not education – it is indoctrination. This is clear from the WHO’s emphasis on ‘sexuality education’, rather than what used to be known as ‘sex education’. There is an important difference between these two terms. Whereas sex education involves teaching children about sex and human reproduction, ‘sexuality education’ focusses on gender and sexual identity. As part of ‘sexuality education’, children are not being taught the facts of life. They’re being taught a highly contested ideology.’
He added that adult society needs to fight back against this silent campaign of indoctrination.
Welsh Government followed WHO
Incredibly, the Welsh Government based its sex education policy on exactly the WHO terminology Prof Furedi condemned. Its draft Relationships and Sexuality Education Guidance published in 2019 said: ‘The change in name to Relationships and Sexuality Education reflects the internationally recognised World Health Organisation (WHO) standards for sexuality education.’
Mercifully, the Wales published guidance (2021) avoids the worst excesses of the WHO guidance. However, it still says: ‘Across the learning strands, curriculum content in RSE must be inclusive and reflect diversity. It must include learning that develops learners’ awareness and understanding of different identities, views and values and a diversity of relationships, gender and sexuality, including LGBTQ+ lives. ‘ It is, in other words, woke propaganda. And indeed, the word ‘sexuality’ occurs 16 tines, ‘gender’ 17. From age 11, children should have ‘An ability to advocate for and advance the rights of all and understand and respect all people in relation to sex, gender and sexuality.
Earlier this month, Laura Anne Jones, Conservative shadow minister for education in Wales’ regional government, challenged the WHO to take down its guidelines for sex education in Europe.
