We were about to celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace in December 2023 when four former UK defence secretaries urged Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to stop ‘dithering’, as they put it, over more UK funding for Ukraine’s war effort against Russia.
The UK Government gave £2.3 billion pounds in 2022 and again in 2023 but has not yet announced how much will be sent in 2024.

Former Secretaries of State for Defence, Sir Michael Fallon, Ben Wallace, Dr Liam Fox and Sir Gavin Williamson are all demanding the British taxpayer stump up at least another £2.3 billion pounds. That’s forty pounds for every man, woman and child in the United Kingdom.
It’s enough money, as the BBC show here, to buy two and a half thousand MRI scanners or pay for four hundred thousand hip operations. The Government have already given twice as much as that already. But no-one asked British taxpayers if they wanted to pay that money. As usual, the elite have just decided it and imposed it on hard-pressed people.
More young men in coffins

The money will put more Ukrainian and Russian young men in coffins. The war-mongers think that makes them look tough. Three of them have even been pictured in military fatigues. Ben Wallace couldn’t keep out of them. Macho Gavin Williamson was pictured on a training course ‘breaking the ice’.
The man who started the idea of the UK fighting Russia to the last Ukranian, Boris Johnson, wore civies as he walked around in Kiev meeting Vlodomir Zelensky. But he too has been pictured in military garb.
It goes without saying that none of the four former defence secretaries nor Mr Johnson, nor Mr Sunak will actually go to the front line and put their own lives at risk.
A no-cost demand

The psalmist says: Psalm 120:7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
In fact their demands for more weapons cost them nothing. Meanwhile, in the real world, the war in Ukraine is at a standstill. It’s advancing nowhere and still destroying lives and property on a daily basis. It’s killing young men, bereaving mothers and making widows of young women.
It is a tragedy, and the United Kingdom bears responsibility for advancing it and cheerleading for weaponry around Europe and in the Americas. The British Government does not care about the lives of British subjects. It is of course not their job to care, it is their job to protect. They may say it is not their job abroad to do either. Ukrainian, let alone Russian, lives do not matter to them. But when they deliberately put foreign lives at risk rather than seek peace, that invites judgment.
The Bible says: 1Pet 3:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
Follow the money
It all becomes clear when we follow the money. The UK’s billions are going to the arms manufacturers. What is little known is that politicians are constantly rubbing shoulders with them at lavish dinners.

According to Forces Watch, The arms manufacturers fund these gatherings under the ‘Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme’.
Forces Watch say: ‘The scheme involves MPs or Peers spending at least 15 days in a year with either the Army, Navy or RAF, visiting both UK and overseas bases. The optics of dressing up as service personnel seems to appeal to a militarised parliamentary politics – more than 90 parliamentarians … graduated between 2014-2020.’
The AFPS then hold a ‘Graduation Dinner’. Clearly the aim is to ensure more MPs and Peers are sympathetic to the UK Armed Forces, to armaments and also to military action. Forces Watch say ‘over 50%’ of the ‘more than 90’ were Conservatives, which means just under 50% were not. Labour’s Toby Perkins and Liz Kendall even posted a picture of them posing in a tank at an arms fair. Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has also appeared in military fatigues.
A time for peace
There may or may not have been a time for war, but this is surely the time to beat those swords into ploughshares. It is a time to do what the prophet Jeremiah said and build and plant. Please look at our Bible read points below.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue staff have been taught that sex is “just a label” and may run along a spectrum.
According to Telegraph, the emergency service staff have received instruction in “transgender & non-binary” inclusion.
Part of the guide makes a series of unfounded claims, including a section asking “what is the gender binary?”, in which firefighters have been informed that “in white Western cultures, gender is seen as being an either/or choice, also known as a binary”.
The training material tells emergency service staff that gender is a set of behaviours, while “sex is the label we are assigned by a doctor when we’re born”.
This label does not cover the “range of innate gender identities a person might have”.
A part of the material states: ‘In truth, our understanding of the amount of difference between bodies is only just emerging, and current research indicates that there is probably more of a physical spectrum of biological sex rather than the simple binary of male and female.’
The Bible says, Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Trans ideology, a growing threat to female sport

Trans ideology has recently become a threat to women in sport. A growing concern in the world of sports is the decision of some female athletes stepping away from competitions because of the physical advantages of “transgender” women.
It was commonly acknowledged that male and female bodies have inherent differences, particularly in sports, where these distinctions are significant.
Despite ongoing debates on sex and gender, the sporting arena stands out as a space where the majority readily acknowledge the crucial role played by biology.
Policy Exchange published a paper supported by top athletes like Martina Navratilova, Daley Thompson, and Sharron Davies. They believe that every woman and girl in sports should have fairness and safety, not just the elite. The athletes argue that, for too long, transgender inclusion has been prioritized over the rights of women and girls.
To keep sports fair, we need to protect the female category.
Another teacher banned for “misgendering” a pupil
The Telegraph reported that in December 2023, another teacher was banned from the profession for “misgendering” a pupil.
60-year-old Kevin Lister lost his job at a further education college after refusing to use a male name and pronouns to refer to a 17-year-old female pupil who identified as a boy.
He also warned the pupil against “irreversible” surgical treatment.
Mr Lister said he had lost “the best job in the world” after 16 years of teaching.
‘I was a maths lecturer, but was fired for not affirming, and not hiding secrets from parents.’

Male police officers posing as women (‘trans-women’) are now permitted to strip-search female suspects, according to research into force policies.
Of the 43 forces in England and Wales, at least 34 have either implemented the policy or intend to, a report from the Women’s Rights Network revealed.
The feminist group’s founder, Heather Binning, said the guidelines would lead to ‘state-sanctioned sexual assault’, and police leaders had failed the public by pandering to vocal lobbyists.
‘Self-identification is not UK law and women should not be paying the price for policing beyond the law,’ she said.
‘Police chiefs have failed us again. This is not reasonable or lawful and we do not consent. It is state-sanctioned sexual assault, and it must not be tolerated.’

In December 2021, the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) endorsed a policy document suggesting that officers should have the authority to conduct strip and intimate searches on suspects of the opposite sex, provided the officer identifies themselves with the same “gender” as the individual being searched.
This policy has been adopted and is currently being enforced by the majority of police forces nationwide, without explicitly addressing the protected characteristic of sex.
Part of the document reads: ‘Chief Officers are advised to recognise the status of transgender colleagues from the moment they transition, considered being the point at which they present in the gender with which they identify.
‘Thus, once a transgender colleague has transitioned, they will search persons of the same gender as their own lived gender.’
The last few years have seen men attempt to take on female roles in sports, media, adverts, and other leadership positions.
UN Women charity appoints a man to represent British women
A United Nations Women’s charity has been criticised for nominating a man to represent UK women’s champion.
In November, the charity committee appointed a male who presents a highly sexualised stereotype of womanhood as an ambassador for women.
At least 17 campaign groups have signed a letter opposing the appointment of Ian Bergdorf who now goes by the name “Munroe Bergdorf” as the first ‘UK champion’ for UN Women UK.
The groups voiced their ‘dismay and disappointment’ following the decision to select the 36-year-old former DJ turn model and broadcaster to take on the role.
The organisations include Fair Play For Women, Sex Matters, Transgender Trend, and the Women’s Rights Network.
Group statement
The groups in their joint letter wrote: ‘We wish to register our dismay and disappointment at the appointment of Munroe Bergdorf as a UN Women UK champion. Munroe Bergdorf is unsuitable in every regard.
‘Munroe Bergdorf’s well-publicised activism is not pro-women. This person has objected to women making references to our female bodies.’
Munroe Bergdorf
Munroe Bergdorf was fired by L’Oreal in 2017 due to provocative remarks on race, sparking controversy that later entangled pop star and fellow cosmetic ambassador Cheryl Tweedy.
The activist, who is also broadcaster and contributing editor at British Vogue, faced a backlash over his online post responding to the violence of white supremacists in Charlottesville, in which he said all white people were racist.
In it, Bergdorf wrote: ‘Honestly I don’t have energy to talk about the racial violence of white people any more. Yes ALL white people.’
‘Because most of ya’ll don’t even realise or refuse to acknowledge that your existence, privilege and success as a race is built on the backs, blood and death of people of colour,’ Bergdorf reportedly wrote in the post, which was later deleted. “Your entire existence is drenched in racism.’
Following further public scrutiny, Bergdorf issued an apology for past social media messages, including derogatory comments made in 2012 and offensive remarks about suffragettes.
Mr Bergdorf, who once enjoyed posing for pictures with ex-Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, stood down from his role on the party’s LGBT+ advisory board following the media storm over his comments.

An X user known as WhatHappened.com@JohnBla27209136 wrote: ‘UN Women appoints biological male Munroe Bergdorf as its “UK Champion.” In order to signal wokeness, trans women are even preferred over biological women, not only erasing women from their own spaces, but appointing males to be the literal ‘representatives’ of women.’
Another user, Marina van Zyl@marinavanzyl wrote: ‘UN Women National Committee UK” has appointed Munroe Bergdorf as their first women’s champion. He is a 36-year-old “trans-identified” man, who underwent a series of procedures including shaving the bones in his face, packing his chest with silicone.’
What is united about the UN Women’s move?
According to UN Women UK, their goal is to transform the lives of women and girls along with “empowerment of women equality globally within civil society, government, and the corporate sector”.
The move to appoint a male to fill a female position by the UN Women has raised concerns regarding the charity’s credibility.
Campaign group, Fair Play for Women said: ‘UN Women has made a point of demonstrating that it considers males can become women. It’s disappointing to see the UK committee go so far as to select a male to represent women.

Companies in Camden, London, are being pressured by the Labour-led council to promote “LGBTQ” which is tagged as ” inclusion”.
Camden Council has implemented various measures to force “inclusivity” in its internal policies and procedures.
Additionally, Camden intends to leverage its “position of power” to demand that external businesses prove their commitment to these “approved values” if they want to be considered for commissioning or partnership with the council.
This means that the council is prioritising businesses that promote “LGBT” in its supply chain.
In a document released online, Camden said: ‘As an organisation, Camden Council is committed to ensuring that everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
‘The Council’s commitment to conscious Inclusion and internal HR policies set out the approach on how to do this so everyone in Camden feels included and can be who they are, feel valued, safe, and respected by each other every day.
‘Building our commitment to LGBTQ+ equality into our procurement processes has been one of the ways in which it has sought to be more inclusive.
‘This is in order to work with businesses whose values align with our own, and to use our position of power to positively influence’.
“Trans” awareness
Other measures brought in to increase “inclusion” at the local authority include introducing “trans” awareness sessions, partnering with Stonewall and Proud Employers, and celebrating dates on an inclusion calendar.
The council has also consulted residents on plans to increase “diversity in the public realm” as part of a push to cover “all protected characteristics and intersectionality”.
Previously, Camden launched a project to examine the potentially offensive views of historical figures represented in the borough, including Virginia Woolf.

Stonewall influencing policies
In recent times, the pro-trans lobby group, Stonewall, has been influencing policies within the National Health Service (NHS), businesses, and councils.
Meanwhile, in February 2022, Camden was ranked top 50 on Stonewall’s Top 100 Employers List.
Moreso, Stonewall helped draft gender policies of up to 30 NHS trusts which government officials criticised, but did nothing about.
The question of why and how Stonewall has gained so much influence in shaping not just Britain’s policies but also local government practices, to the point where businesses are compelled to adopt their ideology, is beyond comprehension.

Workplace or woke-place?
Enforcing “trans” ideologies into workplace policies is not only rapidly becoming the norm but is also compelling individuals and businesses to conform to these woke ideologies, thereby undermining the fundamental purpose of work.
The Bible says, Ecclesiastes 3:13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God.

Everyone should have the liberty to choose what to believe without being bullied into accepting sodomy or called being called “homophobic”.

Merry Christmas (it still is, until Epiphany (6th January)!) and a Happy New Year.
Calling January ‘Veganuary’ and using it to promote ultra-processed vegan foods has hit its peak, although supermarkets and newspaper articles are still promoting it.
Given all that hype, a new year is a good time to took at how we can eat more healthily. After all, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and we have a God-given duty to look after them and stay in the Lord’s service for as long as he gives us on this earth.
That is not to neglect prayer and worship, but it is to reject the modern fads of the world and return to something more simple, something more godly.
Veganism is on the slide
Launched in 2015, ‘Veganuary’ hit a peak in 2019, but has been on the slide ever since. ‘Plant-based’ meat substitutes are now struggling as well.
The Telegraph reports that last year, Nestlé withdrew its vegan ranges as “not viable” while British sausage company Heck shelved most of its vegan sausages and burgers. ‘Meatless Farms’ stopped trading. ‘Beyond Meat’, launched in 2012 with investment from Bill Gates and Kim Kardashian, announced sales had fallen from its 2019 high by almost a third. Heather Mills’s ‘Vbites’ has filed for administration. The bubble has burst.
Tim Spector in the Daily Telegraph urging us to avoid UPF fake food.
In a well-researched article in the Telegraph, journalist Tim Spector urges us: ‘Don’t eat fake food’, by which he means ultra-processed, often plant-based concoctions.
One definition of ‘UPF’ says: ‘Ultra-processed food is an industrially formulated edible substance derived from natural food or synthesized from other organic compounds. The resulting products are designed to be highly profitable, convenient, and hyperpalatable, often through food additives such as preservatives, colourings, and flavourings.’
The problem is, UPFs don’t do us any good. See this informative article on food from British Heart Foundation. UPFs coud be shortening our lives, perhaps by ten years. That is before we consider the unseen effects of all the various additives UPFs need to give them shelf-life and make them palatable. Why do so many people today have so many allergies and mental conditions which were completely unknown fifty years ago? Could what we are eating and feeding to our children have something to do with it?
In another article, Hattie Garlick asserts that ‘meat is better for your health than you think’. Meat and dairy products carry important vitamins like B12 which we can’t find naturally anywhere else.
Cattle, and all ruminants, turn what we can’t eat into what we can.
Animals such as ruminants are on God’s earth for one reason. It is to turn what carnivores and omnivores cannot eat (that’ll be grass) into what we can, which is their highly-nutritious muscle-meat. They are prey animals whose destiny is to be eaten. There is also a spiritual dimension. When we eat them, we participate in the divine eco-system. All food is food ‘out of the earth.’ Not for nothing did the Lord single out all cattle, sheep and goats as ‘the beasts which ye shall eat’. (Bible references are below.)
Yesterday, on New Year’s Day, farmer and former MP Neil Parish listed all the nutrients in milk and dairy, putting Andrea Rymer of the Vegan Society on the back foot on GB News. Clearly, vegans have to jump through too many nutritional hoops.
Last month, BBC presenter Ade Adepitan aired a spectacularly ill-informed programme on Channel 4 calling on the public to eat chicken instead of beef as part of effort to curb climate change as Farmers Weekly reported. He assumed all beef is raised in US-style feed lots, ignoring grass-fed UK beef farming altogether. Naturally, there was a Net Zero angle, with Ade insisting the ‘climate cost of beef is the highest of any foodstuff’. It isn’t. 26% of the earth’s land surface is covered with grass. What does he think is going to eat it if cattle don’t? And the environmental costs of UPFs? Totally ignored. While you are here, sign our petition:
So how to avoid Ultra-Processed Food? Items like fruits, raw vegetables, salad crops and nuts are not processed at all, and we can be eating more of them. Some of us will also try to source organic fruits and vegetables to avoid possible contamination with pesticides and herbicides. And there is nothing better than growing your own. Perhaps we could even start eating fruits and vegetables in season again.
Meat pie baked on the author’s farm
Humans are unique among God’s creatures as the only ones who cook our food. We can regard that as his gift to us. In the kitchen, whenever you take raw food materials and cook them, you are processing the food. Cooking is processing, but it is not ultra-processing, which relies on additives you will never find in your kitchen. Too many people exist on ultra-processed convenience food, and jobs depend on it, but I would call on Christians to opt out. An omelette is easy to cook, more nutritious and additive-free compared with a shop-bought pizza.
In our house, we eat as naturally as we can. We eat butter, never, as actress Emma Chambers had fun with here: ‘I can’t believe it’s not butter’. We bake our own bread, from organic flour. A ‘ready-meal’ never crosses the threshold. We always cook from scratch. Left-overs come back the next day, or the day after that. Best-before dates, even use-by dates, we treat as advice, not gospel truth. There is almost zero waste. And as the Lord commands, we enjoy our food and drink. It’s doable.
Check the ingredients!
Fake Milk: UPF M!LK, from ‘The Coconut Collab’.
When shopping, check the ingredients listed. If there are more than five, or if there is anything which you can’t find in your kitchen, leave it on the shelf.
That rules out anything calling itself ‘milk’. In fact you’ll often find these hyper-processed foods pretending to be something they are not. You’ll see vegan labelling with the word ‘chicken’ highlighted but negatived or crossed out, as in the Aldi fake nuggets above. The ‘plant-based’ brand ‘Beyond Meat’ is still pretending there is a nutritious sunlit upland ‘beyond’ waiting to be discovered. But there isn’t. It’s all additives and E-numbers and ultra-processing.
For example, there’s a new plant-based ‘milk’, called M!LK, from brand ‘The Coconut Collab’. The packaging makes it look like real milk, but it has to claim it is ‘surprisingly un-coconutty-tasting!’ Who is paying £2.25 for a litre of something with twelve ingredients including additives, stabilisers, emulsifiers, esters, flavourings, regulators and salt, which cannot even make up its mind what it tastes like?

Bible Diet?
You might be tempted to think a plant-based diet is a ‘Bible diet’ if you read no further than the first chapter of the book of Daniel. But Daniel refused the king’s meat not because it was physically unhealthy but because it was spiritually tainted, having been sacrificed to idols.
Daniel refused to be defiled. That is the teaching we are meant to absorb, along with obedience and the power of God. A modern-day application, a ‘Daniel Diet’, if you like , would be to refuse halal meat in a shop and to avoid Muslim restaurants and take-aways with a halal sign in the window.
Nor is a plant-based diet taking us back to the Garden of Eden. We agree that in the beginning, God gave mankind and all animals herbs ‘for meat’. With the fall of mankind, that ship has sailed. Going on, after the flood, God told the sons of Noah: ‘Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you’. We can never again achieve the innocence of the Garden. The blood of Jesus does not take us back to an Edenic paradise, it restores fallen men and women to fellowship with God. Eden is gone forever, but replaced in God’s providence with something far better.
Stay healthy: Eat a balanced diet
This is the take-away, although not in order of importance:
(1) Eat and enjoy healthy food in a balanced diet,
(2) Avoid anything ultra-processed,
(3) Forget modern godless food fads,
(4) Cover yourself and those you love in prayer for health and protection,
(5) Give thanks constantly for God’s mercies, new every morning,
(6) Exercise as you can, for this while on earth,
(7) Confess and speak good to yourself and those you love,
(8) Seek the Lord in his word. Start our Bible Reading Plan.

British MPs and Peers have urged the Football Association (FA) to ban men posing as women from participating in women’s football.
This call follows an incident in the Sheffield and Hallamshire League, where four women’s teams opted out of playing against a transgender player, a man using the name Francesca Needham, after a girl suffered a significant knee injury while trying to block this player.
The letter was sent by Miriam Cates and co-signed by 42 Conservative MPs, two Labour MPs, two from the Democratic Unionist Party and one from the Alba Party, along with 27 members of the House of Lords.
According to the letter, the FA has turned “a blind eye” on the issue and passed the buck to “individual clubs and managers” instead of issuing clear instructions on whether trans players can join women’s soccer teams.
Mr. Needham’s case has ignited a contentious debate, involving a minimum of 50 men (transgender) transgender players currently participating in women’s leagues across England.
Miriam Cates MP, the lead signatory, brought up the issue in the House of Commons last week, emphasising the importance of prioritising safety.

She pointed out that, unlike the Rugby Football Union and British Cycling, the FA has so far ignored the impact transgender inclusion has on women’s participation. Not only that, it’s dangerous.
The Conservative MP for Penistone and Stocksbridge said: ‘Allowing males to compete in women’s and girls’ teams undermines that principle of fairness and puts women and girls in danger.
‘It’s deeply concerning that women’s teams in South Yorkshire have had to pull out of matches due to fears for players’ physical safety when playing against a male opponent.’
More reactions
Former FA Chairman, Lord Triesman, reacting to protecting women’s rights in football said: ‘As the governing body for all levels of football in England, the FA should be paying particular attention to issues affecting amateur and semi-professional clubs.
‘Recent incidents have shown there is a pressing need for strong central guidance to ensure that women and girls are not disadvantaged or put at risk of physical harm. I am calling on the FA to make it clear that male-bodied players should not be playing on women’s teams or in women’s leagues.’
Maya Forstater, executive director of Sex Matters, said: ‘There is nothing in the Equality Act or the Gender Recognition Act that says women’s sports must be opened up to men who identify as women. In fact, the Football Association, the most influential sporting association in the UK, is discriminating against women and girls by not protecting women’s teams. It is totally unacceptable for the FA knowingly to be putting women in harm’s way.’
Discrimination claims?
In a now-deleted post on Rossington Main Ladies’ Facebook page last month, Mr Needham said he had quit football when rival clubs refused to take part in matches against him.
‘As some of you may have heard, Rossington Main Ladies FC has faced challenges from teams unwilling to play against us while I am on the field,” the player wrote.
‘This unfortunate circumstance has prompted me to investigate pursuing a case of discrimination, as I believe it represents a breach of the code of conduct regarding diversity and inclusion, as well as safeguarding of adults in football established by both the Football Association and the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women and Girls League.’
Misrepresentation of women

Women have persistently grappled with misrepresentation, especially within the media and various organisations.
In a recent article, The Daily Mail refers to men as ‘She.’ But in an even more concerning instance, Greater Manchester Police, in a tweet stated: ‘A man and a woman have been sentenced to a combined 16 years and 9 months in prison for their roles in the sexual abuse of a child.’
Detective Inspector Marsden referred to the ‘female suspect,’ identified as ‘Naomi O’Brien.’ However, this information was inaccurate, as evident from the photo posted by the police. The real name of the suspect is Nathan. The other offender was Nathan’s boyfriend, Jonathan Walker, revealing the case involved two gay individuals.
The misleading characterisation of a male sex offender as a ‘predatory female’ by the police not only deceives the public, it also distorts crime statistics.

‘Man in a wig’
Tory MP Rachel MacLean came under pressure to delete her post and issue an apology to Green Party candidate Matthew Viner, who now identifies as Melissa, following her reference to him as a ‘man in a wig.’
The Conservative deputy chair for women shared a post on X, formerly Twitter, describing Matthew Viner as a ‘man who wears a wig and calls himself a ‘proud lesbian.’
She added a comment: ‘While the Greens don’t know what a woman is, my Worcestershire neighbours, the people of Bromsgrove certainly do.’
Meanwhile, Joe Baker, Labour group leader at Redditch Borough Council, criticised Mrs. Maclean’s comments and described them as ‘absolutely vile and hateful’. While Tory MP Wendy Morton said Ms. Maclean failed to show due ‘respect’ towards ‘Poulton’ and his new identity.
In 2019, Matthew Viner stood for the Conservative Party in the Wyre Forest council elections under his real name. Yet the Greens, the BBC, and even the Daily Telegraph refer to him as ‘she’.
Made in God’s image
Undoubtedly, everyone is created in the image and likeness of God. However, those who attempt to alter creation by all forms of mutilation spits in the face of God, who created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) has proposed that men who identify as “transgender” serve sentences in female prisons, even if they have a history of violence against women.
The SPS report said men should be provided the opportunity and support to work towards being housed in a jail cell that aligns with their “affirmed” gender.
‘Trans criminals should serve time in female jails to allow them to prepare for life as women on release, according to the new guidance for Scottish prisons.’
The SPS policy was unveiled last week. Part of the report states that male criminals with a history of violence against women could be housed in a female prison if there was “compelling” evidence they did not pose “an unacceptable risk of harm”.
But the detailed guidance on its operation stated that even those deemed too dangerous to be housed in women’s prison could still be allowed to mingle with female inmates in other settings. This is a recipe for disaster.
‘There may be other ways of supporting their gender identity, for example through access to work parties, activities, or even programmes with others of their gender identity,’ the report added.

Repeal the Gender Recognition Act 2004
As leaders strive to put this country together, it is crucial to pay attention to issues that could put citizens in danger. It is also crucial to acknowledge the significant role played by the Gender Recognition Act (GRA) 2004 in exacerbating problems and contributing to avoidable crimes.
The recently proposed SPS protocol, set to be implemented on February 26, 2024, again states that male (trans) offenders would “not be eligible to be considered for admission or transfer to a women’s prison” if they had been convicted, or were awaiting trial or sentencing for a series of crimes such as murder and rape.
The term “trans” itself raises concerns, whether applied to individuals with a criminal history or law-abiding citizens. Consequently, Christian Voice remains steadfast in its advocacy for the repeal of the Gender Recognition Act 2004, the exclusion of ‘gender reassignment’ from the Equality Act 2010, and the establishment of legislation prohibiting puberty-blockers and ‘gender-affirming’ mutilation.
SPS reponds
A spokesperson for Scottish Prison Service, said: ‘Our new policy supports the health, safety, and wellbeing of all people living and working in Scotland’s prisons, by taking an individualised approach to the admission, placement, and management of transgender people.
‘We will carefully consider a range of factors, including offending history, with a particular focus on violence against women and girls, when assessing risk.’

Protection for female inmates watered down
The new SPS report shows that the rights and protection of female inmates is no longer prioritised.
Women’s rights campaigners and members of the Conservative Party have warned that the newly implemented policy, which was introduced in the aftermath of the Adam Graham scandal (now Isla Bryson), drastically waters down protections for female inmates.
Mr Graham was convicted of raping two women before claiming to be a “woman”. Meanwhile, in September, a paedophile claimed to be a woman before appearing before a Court over the possession of indecent photos of children.
Dominic Mark Carter, now ‘Sophie Louise’ Carter, attended Southampton Crown Court dressed in a pink shirt, pink shorts and pink nail polish, posing as a woman.
In the meantime, the approach will continue until the new policy officially comes into force on 26 February 2024.

Kemi Badenoch, the Women and Equalities minister, has said that the UK is seeing an epidemic of “young gay” children being told that they are “trans.”
The Equalities minister warned MPs of a ‘new form of conversion therapy’ under which children are being put on a medical pathway to sterilisation.
She also told the Commons that ‘no child is born in the wrong body’ and also criticised the NHS for using terms such as ‘chestfeeders’ instead of ‘women’.
Ms. Badenoch said: ‘Hospitals in particular think that removing the term “women” is more inclusive. It really isn’t.
‘It is excluding, and I would say to them, gently, that if you are removing words like ‘mother’ from forms, you are not helping. You’re actually making things worse.’

While recognising Ms. Badenoch’s valid concerns regarding trans ideology, our primary concern centers on the repeal of the Gender Recognition Act 2004, the removal of ‘gender reassignment’ from the Equality Act 2010, the enactment of a law to prohibit puberty-blockers and ‘gender-affirming’ mutilation. It’s essential, however, that we preserve our freedom to preach the word of God.
We are committed to standing firm, even if it means going to jail, echoing the resolve of Apostles like Peter and John who were prepared to face consequences rather than yielding to state demands.

Attack on Christian freedom
On the 4th of December, Kemi Badenoch confirmed plans to ban prayer and ministry seen as “conversion therapy”, according to ITV News. This is an attack on Christian freedom.
Kemi Badenoch said the legislation had to address issues with gender-affirming care, which supporters of Christian freedom argue is not the right approach for young people who are questioning their gender identity.
Backbench MPs from several parties have drafted the legislation after the government failed to deliver its promised ban.
The bill, according to Ms. Kemi, would not just cover people who try to turn gay children straight, but also those who attempt to turn gay children transgender.
How did we get here with Stonewall?
In recent times, pro-trans lobby groups such as Stonewall and Mermaids have significantly influenced policies within the National Health Service. The question is: why and how have these groups been permitted to have a say in Britain’s policies to the extent that anyone dissenting from their ideology is labeled as ‘homophobic’?
We can at this point we agree with the Equalities minister that Stonewall ‘does not dictate the law in this country.’
Meanwhile, in August, Stonewall helped draft gender policies of up to 30 NHS trusts which government officials criticised, but did nothing about.
Even Conservative MP Nic Fletcher said, ‘ It’s unacceptable that the NHS continues to place the safety and privacy of women at risk because of ideological capture by a tiny but vocal lobbying group’.
Now, more than ever, it’s time to reclaim our nation, safeguard our children from harmful ideologies, and choose leaders who uphold Godly values.

Patients at an NHS trust are being asked to choose what gender identity they are from a list of options, according to the Telegraph.
The options include, ‘Demiboy’, ‘Genderfluid’ and ‘Questioning’.
The form, administered by the Royal Brompton, which is run by Guy’s and St. Thomas’s NHS Trust, has over 10 options for patients to select from.
From a drop-down menu, patients are invited to choose from: ‘Agender, Another gender not listed here, Choose not to disclose, Demiboy, Demigirl, Female, Gender fluid, Male, Non-binary, Other, Questioning, Transgender male or Transgender female.’
NHS is pro-trans: The Equality Act allowed King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to paint this ‘Progress Pride’ abomination on a walkway at their Princess Royal Hospital, Orpington.
It is utterly absurd that the NHS Trust would dedicate so much time to consider different genders in their online forms in the name of ‘inclusion’, rather than invest the same energy to figure out how to clear the backlog of appointments.
The Bible says a lot about misplaced priorities, much of it about the wisdom of putting God first rather than man. For example: Prov 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Meanwhile, in October, Health Education England officials were ordered to scrap an NHS training manual that told staff to declare their pronouns to patients.
Steve Barclay, the then health secretary, said the materials were symptomatic of the ‘ideological dogma’ pervading the health service. Because Health Education England is ‘a non-departmental public body accountable to the Secretary of State’, he had his way. But NHS Trusts, on the other hand, are self-governing and not accountable to the Government. As the Nuffield Trust says (on page 10): ‘Foundation trusts are
genuinely independent and not subject to ministerial direction’.
Professor Karol Sikora, the oncologist who received the form from the Royal Brompton, told the Telegraph he was asked to decide his identity after a small operation six weeks ago.
The procedure ‘had nothing to do with my sexual orientation. It is not my goolies that were operated on,’ he said.
‘They sent me a follow-up for an appointment in the clinic and with it came a form, which I had to fill in online. As predominantly older people are the ones who go to outpatient clinics, little old ladies in Clacton are getting that to fill in. It’s ridiculous that we’re spending money on this.’
Professor Sikora said he feared the form is being sent out across other hospitals and was concerned that it would be ‘mainly elderly Brits given this sort of stuff that only applies to a tiny minority.’
Guy’s and St Thomas’ has defended itself as expected.
The spokesperson said: ‘As part of providing personalised care to our patients, we give them the opportunity to provide us with a range of personal information, including gender identity.
‘Patients have the option not to disclose this information if they prefer.’
Of course they do, but they should not be asked such intrusive, insulting, unbliblical nonsense in the first place.
The absurdity of men using tampons
A Finnish company called Vuokkoset has released a new sanitary (tampon) product for men. In the company’s attempt to promote gender propaganda, they claim that ‘periods are not a gender issue’.
The sanitary product was launched earlier this month to coincide with ‘Transgender’ Awareness week and ‘International Men’s Day’. These days, that includes women pretending to be men.
The tampon comes in a dark blue box which bears the words ‘For Men’ on one side, but then extends this phrase around the packaging so it eventually reads ‘For Menstruation.’
Biologically and logically speaking, tampon and men should never be used in the same sentence. Moreover, it is Biblically clear that men cannot be women, and vice versa, regardless of the amount of mutilation they have undergone.
We must pray that this absurdity stays in Finland, that the product bombs there and the company goes bust..
Menstruating while undergoing ‘hormone therapy’
No, this is not a man in the tampon ad. This is a woman pretending to be a man.
It is common sense to know that it is women who experience menstruation, as long as they have not hit menopause or are pregnant. Therefore, the idea of a sanitary product for a man is preposterous.
Vuokkoset, the owners of the sanitary brand, even confirms this by saying females who go through mutilation to become men might continue to experience menstrual cycles even while undergoing hormone treatment to change gender or may choose not to have such therapy at all and so will still have periods.
They added that studies show that 93 percent of mutilated women (‘trans-men’) have experienced menstrual-related gender dysphoria, a sense of unease a person may have because of a mismatch between what they think they are and their actual sex as discerned by the midwife at birth.
Periods do not define womanhood?
Dakota Robin’s facial hair is the result of taking the male hormone testosterone.
It is the highest form of disregard for women to be told that going through periods does not define womanhood. Despite the wokeness of some NHS Trusts, the central NHS defines period as ‘the part of the menstrual cycle when a woman bleeds from her vagina for a few days’. Men do not have periods.
The face of the “For Men” tampons advertising campaign is Dakota Robin. She is a Finnish woman who says she’s a man. She has grown facial hair as a result of taking testosterone hormones. She also claims to be a ‘human rights activist’. In other words, she is campaigning for assumed ‘trans rights’.
Miss Robin ventured: ‘By changing attitudes and broadening perspectives, we can also stamp out discrimination against gender minorities. The least anyone can do is to understand that periods do not define womanhood and understand the diversity behind them.’
The Bible says: Matthew 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female.
Like the Pharisees our Lord challenged, Dakota Robin has not read.

At this time of writing, in early December 2023, some 97,000 delegates and 300,000 hangers-on are meeting at the climate alarmist COP28 jamboree in Dubai. It’s the biggest ever, with, some are saying, the biggest ever ‘carbon footprint’.
Meanwhile, the Government have passed what the Daily Telegraph describes as an ‘anti-motorist’ net zero vote. The ‘Zero Emission Vehicle mandate’ will enact quotas for the sale of electric cars. The mandate will require 22 % of cars sold by manufacturers to be electric from next year. By 2030, the quota will gradually have risen to 80 per cent.
This is despite Mr Sunak pushing the all-electric date back from 2030 to 2035 in a speech in September. MPs say if electric cars are that good they will sell themselves with no need for government force. The measure passed by 381 votes to 37. See how your MP voted here. Telegraph’s report (£) is here.
King Charles gave the opening speech on Friday 1st, (or watch it on YouTube)(Comment on Daily Sceptic) telling the assorted sheiks, princes and politicians to gang up on the masses and deliver Net Zero: They must ‘bring together our public, private, philanthropic and N.G.O. sectors ever more effectively, so that they all play their part in delivering climate action.’ He said: ‘It is encouraging to see industry transition plans being developed, both nationally and globally, which will help each sector of our global economy onto practical pathways to a zero-carbon, Nature-positive future.’
When you read the transcript of his speech on the Palace website, you see that the King always deifies ‘nature’ by giving it a capital ‘N’. ‘We belong to the earth’, he concluded, ‘The Earth does not belong to us.’
That’s not what the Bible says, when God blessed mankind and told Adam and Eve to ‘be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:’ The earth, or nature, is a created thing, like us. Mankind are stewards of it. It does not ‘own’ us, as His Majesty believes. It is not a god.
To support his pitch, the King spoke of ‘seeing alarming tipping points being reached’. Like what? He failed to name any. He said: ‘I have spent a large proportion of my life trying to warn of the existential threats facing us over global warming, climate change and biodiversity loss.’ Threats to our very existence? The world was warm in Roman times and in the Middle Ages. We’re still here, Your Majesty. Some time back all the dinosaurs went extinct. That was Biodiversity loss on a grand scale. We’re still here, sir.
Writing in the Telegraph, Peter, Lord Lilley, says he has asked ministers to name a single peer-reviewed study accepted by the IPCC (the UN body established to assess the science of global warming) that forecasts the extinction of humanity if the world takes no action to phase out fossil fuels. He found out there isn’t one.
Incidentally, he also says when he was one of just five MPs to vote against the absurd Climate Change Act in 2008, he was the only MP who asked to see the ‘Impact Assessment – the cost-benefit analysis’ for the Bill. It showed the costs outweighed the benefits by a factor of two-to-one. He goes on: ‘But, then and since, our political class has put reason aside, preferring to use this issue for virtue signalling’. Once again, as our previous article showed, it was and still is the politics of absurdity.
Referring to his many calls for ‘climate action’ and ‘Harmony’ with ‘Nature’, the King said: ‘All these decades later, and despite all the attention, there is thirty per cent more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere now than there was back then, and almost forty per cent more methane.’
Yes, Statista reports there was 315 parts per million of CO2 in the atmosphere in 1959, and 419 parts per million in 2022. And we’re still here. Plants can’t photosynthesise much below 200 ppm, while the ideal for them, according to the Province of Manitoba in Canada, is around 1200 ppm. Some growers provide supplements of CO2 to make their plants more productive. Carbon Dioxide is not a poison, it means more food for ordinary people. Even the alarmist NASA admits the earth is becoming greener as a result of the extra CO2.
As for Methane, Statista says ‘Precise figures’ ‘are difficult to quantify’, but I sense the King is punching down on livestock farmers, other than him, of course, whose animals produce methane. Then again, humans produce methane, even kings, apparently.
Where are livelihoods ‘laid waste by climate change’?
His Majesty said: ‘The dangers are no longer distant risks. I have seen across the Commonwealth, and beyond, countless communities which are unable to withstand repeated shocks, whose lives and livelihoods are laid waste by climate change.’ Where in the world is this happening? He didn’t say. There is no support for his statement anywhere.
The King constantly confused weather with climate. He claimed, ‘East Africa is suffering a decades-long drought’. It isn’t. Even CNN eventually has to admit the horn of Africa is suffering a five-year drought brought about by La Nina weather patterns. But elsewhere, for example in the East African country of Rwanda,according to the World Bank, there is more rainfall than a century ago. The king blamed this year’s ‘severe’ wildfires on climate change. No, it was arsonists what set fire to forests in Greece and Canada.
Highly political
The elite, including the King’s Great Reset friends in the World Economic Forum, which is supporting COP28, of course, try to pretend Net Zero is not political. That’s how the King thinks he can get away with a speech which was highly-politicised.
He told the leaders, ‘we need – in the order of four-and-a-half to five trillion a year – to drive the transformation we need’. That’s the cost. Dollars presumably. And who pays for it? Not King Charles. Nor does it grow on those trees he wants speculators in the Shard to plant with taxpayers’ cash.
That money for Net Zero will come from taxes raised and profits from stuff sold to you and me. The population of the world is around 8 billion. Do the maths. The king’s Net Zero is going to cost every man, woman and child on Planet Earth at least $570 dollars a year each. Possibly over $600 each. Per year. The Archbishop of Canterbury told King Charles at his coronation in May to be a servant of the people. So has the King asked us if we want to pay that? Was it in any party manifesto?
96 months to save the world!
In July 2009, Prince Charles, as he was then, told an audience of industrialists and environmentalists that he calculated that we had just 96 months, a mere 8 years, left to save the world. Charles said we could no longer afford consumerism and the “age of convenience” was over. Not for him of course.
Fourteen years or 168 months later, the earth has not come to an end. We’re still here. The sky has not fallen in. He was wrong then. I suggest the royal alarmist and bon viveur is wrong again.
We read in Genesis chapter 8 and verse 22 that ‘seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will always be there while the earth remains. That’s the Lord’s promise. But News Agency Reuters tells us, along with Google, the BBC and the rest of the mainstream media, without any backing, as if it is holy writ, that the burning of fossil fuels ‘is the main cause of climate change’.
Fossil fuels, or the sun?
Historically, it is the activity of the sun which has always driven climate change. We believe the earth and its complicated and seemingly chaotic atmosphere, its physics and its chemistry, the moon and the sun were all put together by an all-powerful Creator. Man’s attempts to model it, let alone influence it, seem a bit pathetic, a bit vain-glorious.
It was left to chemical engineer, Sultan Dr Ahmed Al-Jaber, the COP28 president, to tell his guests there is ‘No science’ behind phasing out fossil fuels and it isn’t even necessary to achieve the Paris Agreement’s artificial target of 1.5 degrees C. The Telegraph reports he is even going to increase production of oil. The Gretas of this world will not be happy with that.
They won’t hesitate to litigate. One of them, environmentalist and evolutionist Chris Packham has already filed a High Court legal challenge to the UK Government for its decision to delay the electric car deadline by five years.
However, to support Dr Al-Jaber, it was only fossil-fuel power stations which kept the UK from freezing in the November/December 2023 freeze-up. According to the Telegraph, renewables failed completely with the lack of both wind and sun, and because successive governments have failed to build enough nuclear power stations, coal and gas had to fill the gap. The gas network too was at maximum capacity to heat the nation’s homes. Electric heat pumps turned out to cost a fortune as they struggled to extract enough heat from the cold air to keep people warm.
You’ve heard how they want to turn Port Talbot into an Electric Arc Furnace (which uses scrap steel) and close the blast furnaces (which make new iron) and put 2,000 guys out of work? According to the Bible’s book of Hebrews, the Lord Jesus upholds all things, that’s all things, by the word of his power. Paul tells the Colossians that the Lord Jesus ‘is before all things, and by him all things consist’.
The Bible also tells us, in Psalm 2 about the ‘kings of the earth’ imagining ‘vain things’, coming together to plot and plan ‘against the LORD, and against his anointed.’
In our day, King Charles and the nobles, the presidents, prime ministers and politicians, their advisors and the climate lobbyists and financiers are fulfilling that prophecy. They will all wine and dine sumptuously in Dubai and clap each other on the back for their virtue signalling, before flying home in their private jets to tell you to eat less meat, go electric, travel less, turn the heating down and put on a jumper.

Equalities minister Kemi Badenoch has briefed the press on the release of the government’s ‘Transgender Guidance’ for schools.
According to the Mail, the long overdue ‘transgender’ guidance will introduce a presumption against young people altering their names, pronouns, and uniforms within classroom settings.
The guidance for head teachers is due to be published before Christmas. It will make it clear that sports teams, changing rooms and lavatories must be single-sex. A boy who opts to identify as a girl will not be able to enter the girls’ facilities or play in a girls’ team.
The Government’s introduction of this guidance is a positive step forward. Nonetheless, a notable concern arises with the anticipated guidelines. Under the new restrictions, pupils would have the ability to identify as the opposite gender in extremely restricted circumstances, subject to parental consent.
The guidance looks very much like a compromise between the anti-trans (up to a point) Equalities Minister Kemi Badenoch and the more pro-trans Education Secretary Gillian Keegan.
In a statement, Kemi Badenoch said: ‘ The guidance will also ensure that parents are informed if their children tell staff they want to change their gender identity because many schools are keeping them in the dark.’
The Biblical position is that parental consent on the issue of gender should not be on the table in the first place. It should be made clear that social transitioning is not the answer to children or adolescent going through puberty or experiencing emotional challenges. We are the sex we are born.
The Bible says, Isaiah 45:9-10 Woe to him who strives with his Maker!… Woe to him who says to his father, ‘What are you begetting?’Or to the woman, ‘What have you brought forth?’
So many regrets are now emerging from teenagers who went through ‘gender-reassignment surgery, thinking a vain attempt to change their gender would solve all their problems. A girl referred to a transgender clinic said she felt like a “mutilated experiment gone wrong,” after undergoing a double mastectomy.
Meanwhile, some of these children did not live to tell the story. A 16-year-old boy who had “vaginoplasty” surgery in a vain attempt to “change his gender” died from an infection, according to Dutch researchers. Logically, this mutilation is neither necessary nor godly. It is a perversion of medicine.
Further, a heartbroken father took legal action against the national health service(NHS) to protect his child and to stop surgeons from performing sex-change surgery on his “vulnerable” autistic son.
Children should be allowed to go through normal stages of growth without medical intervention that will ruin their lives completely. Those who are well do not need a physician.
The Government and the entire Equalities team ought to make this guidance crystal clear. Telling schools that children cannot change sex, but can make decisions ‘on their gender identity’, whilst correctly applying the Equality Act and the Gender Recognition Act is utterly confusing.
Also, the statement added that schools must also abide by the rules of ‘Gillick competence’, which state whether a child is old enough to consent to medical treatment.
What happened to putting an end to this gender propaganda once and for all, and let children focus on education? What happened to Rishi Sunak’s statement at his party conference that a man cannot be a woman? We are still in the Politics of Absurdity.

Common sense guidance
Executive director of the Sex Matters campaign group, Maya Forstater, said: ‘It is a relief that the long-awaited guidance is coming out and that it will rule out most aspects of social transition clearly.’
But she warned that the guidance will be confusing for schools, because it is not clear what is now meant by social transitioning. ‘It is time for common sense guidance,’ she said.
‘The Government should make clear to head teachers that every child is born male or female, and that this does not change however they feel or act and whatever clothes they wear or words they use about themselves.
‘Schools cannot meaningfully accommodate ‘social transition’ which means pretending that a boy is a girl or a girl is a boy, including by calling them ‘he’ or ‘she’ or applying different rules than to other girls or boys. It is not safe or fair on any of the children,’ she said.

A Christian theology lecturer has launched legal action after being sacked and threatened with a Counter-Terrorism referral, by an ‘evangelical Methodist Bible college,’ for a tweet on human sexuality.
Dr Aaron Edwards is suing Cliff College in Derbyshire and is seeking damages for unfair dismissal and compensation under the Equality Act 201
In March 2023, Dr Edwards, 37, was sacked for alleged misconduct by Cliff College in Derbyshire for ‘bringing the college into disrepute‘ on Twitter (now called X).
Meanwhile, earlier this year, the CEO of Twitter/X, Elon Musk, announced that he would support any user treated unfairly by their employer for posting or liking something on the platform.
The Bible says,
2 Timothy 3:11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
In February, Dr Aaron Edwards posted: “Homosexuality is invading the Church. Evangelicals no longer see the severity of this b/c they’re busy apologising for their apparently barbaric homophobia, whether or not it’s true. This *is* a ‘Gospel issue’, by the way. If sin is no longer sin, we no longer need a Saviour.”
Following the tweet, Dr Edwards was not only suspended by Cliff College and threatened with being reported to Prevent during an investigation and subsequent hearing, he was also abused online.
The college has since tried to deny the Counter-Terrorism threat, despite minutes during the disciplinary hearing/investigation revealing the intimidation tactics used by college bosses.
During the disciplinary hearings, Dr Edwards was also interrogated on how he would pray for same-sex attracted students who approach him for prayer.
He believes as a result of the sacking and subsequent controversy that he might not be able to work in UK higher education again.
Dr Edwards will be seeking damages for unfair dismissal, and compensation under the Equality Act 2010. A full employment tribunal hearing is expected in 2024.
Dr Aaron has said that: “Anyone concerned about academic freedom, Christian freedoms and free speech should be deeply concerned by what has happened to me.”
“The reaction to my tweet and the unjust treatment I have experienced by Cliff College and the Methodist Church in Britain completely illustrates the problem my tweet addressed.
“The tweet was not defamatory; it was not an attack on any colleague or individual; it was not abusive; and it was not an extremist religious view. It was addressed to evangelicals as a point of doctrine, and it has been misunderstood by many who wish to cause personal and institutional trouble for those who express that view.
“The impact on me and my family has been very significant. I have lost many friends as a result, and been slandered by people who do not know all of the details but who now see me as an unkind or hateful person.
“At the time of the suspension and dismissal I also suffered severe physical stress, culminating in symptoms of cardiac arrest. This sometimes returns, especially when I reflect on the events again. Re-reading the correspondence from the college and the various comments, is something I still find difficult as it brings it all up again. It feels like everything I worked for at the college (and for the college) over the last 7 years has gone up in smoke.
Methodist and Church of England on sodomy teachings
The Methodist Church in Britain decided in June 2021 to allow same-sex marriages in places of worship, causing a conflict. Traditionally, the church believed in marriage between a man and a woman as it should be and considered gay relationships as wrong.
Now, church leaders and members are caught in a dilemma. Preachers are forced to support same-sex marriage but continue to teach that being gay is sinful. Conservative Christians who disagree with this change find it difficult to express their beliefs without being labeled as ‘homophobic’ or facing consequences. Some have even been reported as risks or referred to the government for having ‘extreme’ views.
The Bible can not be wrong on matters relating to sodomy.
Genesis 18:20 And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous.
Signs of the end time
In recent years, societal norms have undergone significant shifts, and institutions, including churches, have grappled with changes that challenge age-old beliefs. One noteworthy development is the increasing acceptance and adoption of same-sex marriages within religious communities, reflecting a broader trend where what was once considered unconventional or even taboo is becoming normalised.
Work places are accepting staff members sign in as whatever gender they choose, children are allowed to even identify as cats, moons, and the society still sees nothing wrong with this?
As these shifts unfold, everyone should be prompted to ponder the significance of these societal transformations and their potential connections about the end times.

Remembrance weekend saw the biggest pro-Hamas demonstration in London yet. It was at last opposed, not by the educated middle class, but by the working-class English Defence League. They were naturally described in the press as ‘far-right’, as if those glorifying the Holocaust, its 7th-century fore-runner the Khaybar massacre and the slaughter of innocents by Hamas last month are not ‘far-right’.

Reports say Muslims have even been chanting in Arabic, ‘Khaybar! Khaybar! Ya Yahud, Jaish Mohammed Sauf Ya’ud’ which means ‘Khaybar! Khaybar! Oh Jews, the Army of Mohammed is returning’. And our police and politicians assure us Islam is a religion of peace.
According to the Jewish Chronicle, two men, Khaldoun Ahmad El-Ali, 27, and Mohammad Jihad Al Safi, 25, were actually charged after using the chant at an anti-Israel rally back in April 2021. But their trial has been delayed until May 2025.
In Spiked-Online, Brendan O’Neill wrote: “Police in Northumbria interrogated a woman, a lesbian, under caution, for tweeting that ‘trans women are men’. ‘What did you mean by this?’, the Orwellian creeps asked the lady whose only speechcrime was to state biological facts every six-year-old knows. Meanwhile, in London, the Metropolitan Police ruled that ‘no offence’ was committed by an imam at the Greenwich Islamic Centre who, 13 days after Hamas’s 7 October pogrom, preached about ‘the usurper Jews’. ‘Curse the infidels’, he said. ‘Destroy their homes’.”
As I was writing this, news came in that Suella Braverman MP, the Home Secretary who had the courage to criticise the police for their obvious favouritism, mixed with cowardice perhaps, in the face of thousands of Muslim marchers, had been sacked.
The only good news comes from Paris, where more than 100,000 people, including senior politicians, marched against antisemitism amid a surge in anti-Jewish incidents across France. The speakers of the two houses of parliament called for the march which was joined by Rallye Nationale leader Marine Le-Pen, former presidents Nicolas Sarkozy and François Hollande and the current prime minister Élisabeth Borne. The far left, led by, Jean-Luc Mélenchon refused to take part. President Emmanuel Macron was also absent but said he was there “in heart and in thought”.
“Our order of the day today is … the total fight against antisemitism, which is the opposite of the values of the Republic,” said Gérard Larcher, the French senate speaker and a co-organiser of the largely peaceful demonstration, as it got under way.
His counterpart in the lower house and the march’s co-organiser, Yaël Braun-Pivet, said, as the march neared its end near the Luxembourg Garden: “In France, we are able to unite around our common base, our history and our future.”
Hamas: ‘Zeal’ or ‘Violence’?
So let us take a look at what the word ‘Hamas’ really stands for and how the 7th October atrocity fits in to a spiritual timeline.
‘HMS’ is an acronym of the official name, Harakat al-Muqāwamah al-ʾIslāmiyyah meaning the ‘Islamic Resistance Movement’ (حركة المقاومة الإسلامية ). It is a Sunni Islamist political and military organization governing the Gaza Strip, but is supported by the Shia Islamist Iran. Clearly, hatred of Israel trumps dislike of heretical fellow-Muslims for the Mullahs of Iran. Iran also supports the Shia Islamist Hezbollah, based in Lebanon.
The acronym, HMS, was later expanded into the Arabic word amās (حماس) which means ‘zeal’, ‘strength’, or ‘bravery’. It is rendered that way and explained in the Hamas Covenant.
But if ‘Hamas’ refers to masculine virtues in Arabic, in Hebrew the word stands for something very different. The Hebrew word Chamas (pronounced ‘Hamas’ with long ‘A’s’) occurs sixty times in 59 verses of the Hebrew Bible. Strong’s Dictionary (2555) translates it as ‘violence’ ‘wrong’ and ‘oppression’. The King James translators rendered ‘hamas’ as ‘violence’ in 39 of those verses and ‘violent’ in four. It is translated as ‘cruelty’ in another four.
Uses of ‘chamas’ as ‘violence’
For example, all of these verses translate the word ‘chamas’ as ‘violence:
Gen 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
Psa 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Psa 55:9 Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
Isa 60:18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
Ezek 45:9 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD.
Uses of ‘chamas’ as ‘cruelty’
Gen 49:5 Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
Jdg 9:24 That the cruelty done to the threescore and ten sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their blood be laid upon Abimelech their brother, which slew them; and upon the men of Shechem, which aided him in the killing of his brethren.
Psa 27:12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
Psa 74:20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
7th October was ‘happiest day’
The meaning of ‘hamas’ in Hebrew will be well-known to Jews, while the contrast with its meaning in Arabic is reflected on our streets. The events of 7th October, correctly viewed as violence and cruelty, as evil, to put it mildly, are seen by the supporters of Hamas as bravery and strength and as a good thing.
The Telegraph reported Suella Braverman, then Home Secretary, and immigration minister Robert Jenrick revoked earlier this month (November 2023) the visa of an already-exiled Egyptian television presenter who publicly backed Hamas and their actions. Moataz Matar is said to have taken part in pro-Palestinian protests in London. The Jewish Chronicle reported a video in which he described the 7th Oct attacks by Hamas as marking “the happiest day of my life”.
In April, Egypt Today reported the ‘Pro-Muslim Brotherhood T.V. anchorman Moataz Matar’ was ‘handed down a sentence of life imprisonment for charges with joining a terrorist group and publishing false news.’
‘Heroic Act’
The Egyptian has 4.22 million YouTube subscribers, lives in Turkey and is reportedly a millionaire. He conducted a live interview in October with Abdelhakim Hanini, a convicted terrorist who co-founded Hamas’s murderous Al Qassam brigade in the West Bank in the 1990s. In the 15-minute interview, Hanini said those who support the “neo-Nazi Zionist enemy” should be made to feel there is “no safety for them”.
He added that all Muslims were obliged to “take to the streets” in support of the 7th Oct atrocities, which he described as “a heroic act that our Muslim and Arab world has never seen before, and the enemy has never seen before since the Holocaust of Hitler”.
It may well be, as an interviewer from the Campaign Against Antisemitism discovered, that some young people on the pro-Gaza demonstrations in London are clueless about events, but others clearly know exactly why they are there. They view violence and cruelty against Jewish people as good things, as strength and bravery.
The Month of Tishrei
To understand more about the timing of the 7th October atrocity and its prophetic significance, we need first to look at the autumnal Biblical feasts.
We have now come to the end of Tishrei, the first month of the Hebrew civil year and the seventh month of their ecclesiastical year (which starts on 1st Nisan). Tishrei lasts 30 days and usually occurs in our September–October. It contains many feast days including the most solemn day of the whole calendar. These are all set out in Leviticus 23 and Numbers 29.
The Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah, takes place on 1st Tishrei: Numb 29:1 And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.
Days of reflection are followed by 10th Tishrei, the most solemn day called Yom Kippur, or the ‘Day of Atonement’: Lev 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.
Day of Atonement and Jubliee
Jewish people believe the Day of Atonement is the only day of the year on which Satan may not come before the Lord to accuse Israel. A bullock was sacrificed for Israel in the Temple. The day holds yet another significance.
Every fifty years it was also the Day of Jubilee, a day of release and return: Lev 25:8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. 9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. 10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
The period of fifty years has huge spiritual significance. It is spoken of as a year of total release and restoration which comes after seven groups of seven years. It is said that the Day of Jubilee is also Isaiah’s ‘Acceptable Year of the Lord’ in Isa 61:2, which the Lord Jesus said referred to him (in Luke 4:19). The Jubilee is a foreshadow of the reign of Christ.
Feast of Tabernacles
The seven-day Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot, begins every year on the 15th Tishrei and ends on the 21st: Lev 23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
In Numbers 29 we discover that thirteen bullocks, together with two rams and fourteen lambs would be sacrificed on the first day of Sukkot. Twelve bullocks would be sacrificed on the second day, then eleven, then ten, decreasing to seven. In total, seventy bullocks were sacrificed during the feast of Tabernacles.
Seventy is the Hebrew number of the gentile nations, from Genesis 10. Having atoned for their own sin on 10th Tishrei, the people of Israel were now atoning, at great expense, for the sins of the Gentiles. The feast was also a time when the Levites were to teach the people from the Torah.
But greater mystery is to follow: Num 29:35 On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein: 36 But ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs of the first year without blemish.
Simchat Torah
Simchat Torah
The day is celebrated as Simchat (or Simhat) Torah. It is a celebration of God’s holy law or instruction for mankind. Scrolls are taken out of their cabinet in the synagogue, first read and then danced with. There is more to it than this, but suffice to say the celebration can last many hours. It is the ‘great day’ of the Feast of Tabernacles.
Given that a bullock was sacrificed for Israel on Yom Kippur, then seventy more for the nations during the seven days of Tabernacles, what or who is this seventy-second bullock sacrificed for or representing?
There is a clue in the Gospel of John. We read that Jesus had gone up to Jerusalem for the feast, and we gather he had used the occasion for teaching. On Simchat Torah he identified himself with the ‘great day’, and possibly with the sacrifice made on it: John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
The Lord’s reference to thirst refers to a custom which had grown up of shaking the leaves of the trees mentioned in Lev 23:40 to simulate the coming rainfall of autumn. If it was a kind of ritual magic, that would explain the Lord’s apparent exasperation and his declaration of himself as the water of life.
Dancing turned to mourning

We can now address the prophetic parallels of the Hamas atrocity. It began at 6.30 am on Saturday 7th October 2023. It was the last day of Sukkot, and a sabbath. It was the day when the Jews would be preparing for the holy joy that evening of Simchat Torah. A day of looking forward to celebration would be turned into a day of mourning.
The words of Jeremiah’s lamentation over the fall of Jerusalem apply: Lam 5:15 The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
That had to be the purpose of Hamas, and it was demonic: John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The 1973 Yom Kippur War
Fifty years earlier was the start of the Yom Kippur war. The Arab nations, chiefly Egypt and Syria, began an offensive which they believed would destroy the young nation of Israel. Yom Kippur, the solemn Day of Atonement, happened in that year on another sabbath, on Saturday 6th October 1973. Israel was victorious.
Fifty years later, virtually to the day, Hamas started the latest war, not by attacking soldiers this time, but targeting defenceless civilians including women and children. It is not just God almighty who knows about the Jubilee year. Satan knows as well, and is able to subvert and twist it.
Hamas were clearly well aware of the twisted ‘jubilee’ significance. The question is, why weren’t the Israeli authorities on especially high alert over that weekend? Was no-one aware of the prophetic importance of that weekend? Come to that, were we?
Israel will outlast the nations
Many see the outcome of the Yom Kippur war as a miracle. May it please the Lord to work a similar miracle fifty years later. Whatever happens to them, whatever schemes Satan designs to destroy the Jews and their nation state of Israel, God always seems to preserve them.
Perhaps Hamas is coming in the spirit of Haman in the time of the Persian empire. We guess from the book of Esther he was a descendant of Agag the Amelekite (See 1Sam 15). The very survival of the Jews in Persia at that time was on the line. The law to destroy them was already signed and the date for it to happen had been settled.
Very late in the day did word come to Mordecai the Jew, leading to his conversation with his niece Esther the Queen and their pact that all the Jews would fast and pray for three days and that Esther would go in to the king.
Mordecai challenged the Queen: Est 4:14 (Mordecia to Esther:) For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place;
Why was Mordecai so certain the Jews would somehow be saved? He was moved by the Holy Spirit. We know the prayer and fasting combined with Esther’s action moved the Lord to send the miracle which set the supernatural events of deliverance in motion: Est 6:1 On that night could not the king sleep, …

Jeremiah’s ordinances
In case we are tempted ever to think that God has finished with Israel, the words given to Jeremiah bring us back to our senses: Jer 31:35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
It is undeniable that the sun, the moon and the stars are still there. The word says the nation of Israel has the same permanence. Nor has anyone measured the heavens, so even despite their national sins, which are many, they may well be judged but they will never be cast off before the Lord.
The Prophet Joel wrote: Joel 3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence (chamas) against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land. 20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. 21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.
Prayer
PRAY: For the Lord to judge and confuse those preaching terror on our streets and those who side with them. May Israel defeat Hamas and may their leaders repent of their sins and seek the Lord, to walk in his ways and secure his blessing. Pray for British politicians to call for our own ‘March against antisemitism’. Pray for the Christians of the Middle East.

Let’s tie this in with a proposition from political philosopher John Gray. who says liberalism is finished and politically, ‘We’re entering an age of absurdity’.
For example, in ‘Unherd’ Prof Gray tells Freddie Sayers, ‘in Germany, the result of their closing down of nuclear and going for renewables has been an increased reliance on the dirtiest kind of coal’. Germany is not alone in such absurdity.
Not Counting the Cost
The Lord Jesus asked:
Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
The answer is, ‘British politicians and their civil servants’. They never counted the cost of their net zero policies. Their policy of replacing all gas and oil boilers with electric heat-pumps by some date plucked out of the air looks more unrealistic with each day that passes. They also commanded that all vehicles sold after 2030 should be electric. They are now pushing that back five years in the face of growing consumer reluctance to splash out on EV’s.
The Government decision alone makes Professor Gray’s point. It is policy made up on the hoof. 2040 became 2030, then 2030 becomes 2035 overnight. The policy has no rational basis. Did our leaders ever think Net Zero through as the Lord Jesus assumed any normal person would?
Did they count the cost of the necessary infrastructure, assess generating capacity and cover for wind and solar, the environmental impact of EV batteries, the effect on UK security and jobs if it were all made overseas, or the effect of heavier vehicles on our roads? Did they ask the public if they wanted to pay thousands of pounds a year for net zero, travel less, eat less and turn the heating down while they dine well and pat each other on the back at their COP meetings before flying home in their private jets? Did a demand for personal privation in a quixotic campaign to eliminate CO2 ever appear in a manifesto? The answer to all these questions is ‘No’.
They allow solar panels on good farmland and pay speculators to plant trees on it, so a better tree is cut down in Brazil to provide the food we should have raised. It is beyond incompetent. It is a belief in absurdity.
At his coronation just five months ago, King Charles reaffirmed our Christian constitution. His Majesty promised to ‘maintain the laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel’. But whether he honours that pledge or not is constitutionally delegated to a group of ambitious, ruthless, self-absorbed, self-serving, not necessarily very bright, often potty-mouthed and only occasionally God-fearing men and women whom we call ‘The King’s Ministers’.
Archbishop Welby reminded the king to be a servant to the people. Is impoverishing the population and enriching the elites by absurd policies part of that job description?
Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
So apart from Net Zero, what absurdities do the politicians who have ceased to believe in God now believe? They believe that a man may declare himself a woman or that a woman can sport male genitalia. Leading civil servants admit this politics of absurdity runs all through the corridors of power. Indeed, the MOD’s JSP 889 shows trans ideology is now the policy of His Majesty’’s Government. Who allowed that to happen?

The Bible says it is God who decides the sexes, not us:

Why do the Government not allow parents to see Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) materials taught to their children? Who thought it would be a good idea to allow sex educators to tell children bare-faced lies or encourage them to ‘socially transition’ to the opposite sex? One paper reports this is happening in primary schools right now.

The Government promised guidance to stop that. They have failed to publish it because it may contravene the Equality Act. They have been in office for thirteen years and they have only just noticed the absurdity of the Equality Act? And they lack the wisdom and courage to do anything about it.
Arrogance, stupidity and dishonesty
The Equality Act compels public authorities to promote homosexuality and gender reassignment. Great Britain legalised abortion in 1967 but earlier this year parliament sided with those shedding innocent blood by enacting buffer zones around all abortion facilities in England and Wales.
Not only are those who lead us so arrogant that they legalise things God says in his word are evil and even promote them here and abroad, not only are they so lacking in humility they distort the market by banning things God never banned, but they are so stupid they do not even cost it out and so lacking in wisdom they fail to think any of it through.
On top of that, they lack the honesty to admit it. The same cocktail of arrogance, stupidity and deceit meant that they imposed Covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions in opposition to the laws of God. There was no cost-benefit analysis for any of it. Instead, those in office and their advisors gave contracts for largely unnecessary protective equipment to their friends. To the previous mix of arrogance, stupidity and dishonesty they added corruption.
In addition, they imposed mRNA vaccines on care workers, NHS staff and on healthy young people who never needed them. That profited the pharmaceutical companies and those on our regulatory boards such as the MHRA with shares in them.
Bribery and corruption are specifically condemned in the word of God:
Exod 23:8 And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
Government doesn’t have to be like this, but the only way out is for those in office to recognise they are human not divine, seek the Lord in humility and ask for his wisdom. It is written:
Prov 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
We serve a God who loves the whole of life, who is concerned about nations, families and individuals. God gave us righteous laws to live by and to ensure a stable society, knowing we could never find them out by experiment. Information Theory teaches that no human brain can ever understand the human brain. How much less can human beings understand human society. We need a higher intelligence for that, which means a Creator God. Men may think they know better than God, but trying to go their own way brings instability and destruction:
Proverbs 14:12 (cf 16:25) There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
In the Bible we read about King Rehoboam, who, like today’s rulers, made a stupid decision which cost him dearly. But he came to his senses, and we read:
2Chron 12:12 And when he humbled himself, the wrath of the LORD turned from him, that he would not destroy him altogether: and also in Judah things went well.
We love our nation and we want things to go well, so we pray our leaders will humble themselves and seek the Lord, by the grace of God.
A bit of good news
At a personal level, Christianity teaches that your sin separates you from God, but that if you believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, he will forgive your sin and give you the power of the Holy Spirit to live a new, better, forgiven life. The first public words of Jesus, recorded in Mark’s Gospel, are a command:
Mark 1:15: ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ye and believe the Gospel’.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings forgiveness and salvation, healing and deliverance. Whatever sin or spiritual power is holding you back, you will find release and freedom in Jesus to live life to the full. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ today, make him your Saviour and Lord and he will show you his purpose for your life.
Summing up
Politicians in our constitutionally-Christian United Kingdom have ditched Christianity, wisdom and ’love thy neighbour’ and are now floundering in absurdity and what they can get away with. The Bible says:
Hosea 4:10 For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.
Whether it’s net zero, the trans debate, sex education, buffer zones or Covid, those who lead us lurch from one disaster to the next, clueless and only out for themselves.
2Thess 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
We call on our politicians, their advisors and civil servants to turn away from godlessness and stupidity and honour the King of kings. Only then will our nation be blessed. And that is why we pray for them.
Are you for wisdom or absurdity? For people or elites? Because you can’t have it both ways. Professor Gray just happens to be an atheist, albeit a mild one, but the Lord has used him to make a very Christian point.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak addresses the 2023 Conservative Party Conference

Despite prior intense media speculation that Rishi Sunak was considering shelving plans for the introduction of a ban on prayer and ministry seen as ‘conversion therapy’, The Guardian reports this attack on Christian freedom is back on the table and could be included in the King’s Speech scheduled for 7th November 2023.
However, a post on X/Twitter suggests Miriam Cates MP is organising a Tory campaign against such a ban. We have less than two weeks to pray and act for biblical truth:
When writing to or emailing your MP, use the arguments here if you wish, but most importantly, express your opposition to a ban in your own words. Posting a letter to your MP at ‘House of Commons, LONDON, SW1A 0AA’ is even more effective.
Astonishingly, no-one can define ‘gay conversion therapy’ or say where it is happening. Electric shock therapy hasn’t been offered here for fifty years, so is it just people chatting to one another? Is it prayer and ministry for those who want to be free of same-sex desires? Is it explaining to a girl that climbing trees does not make you a boy?
Some campaigners, including the professional CofE lesbian Jayne Ozanne, have called for a conversion therapy ban to include ‘a broad range of settings’. The professed Christian says these would even include church environments and Christian camps. Whether it does so explicitly or not, such a measure would be a major assault on Christian liberties and human rights, notably freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of assembly. Legal counsel will already be queuing up to mount legal challenges on those grounds.
The scriptural position is that such freedoms are not handed down by the state in any case. Our duty to preach the Gospel, save the lost, heal the sick and deliver the oppressed are commanded by our Lord himself and the apostles. (See our ‘Read’ points below’)
A ban on talking about sexual or gender issues could mean that Christians, pastors, religious leaders, teachers, psychiatric professionals, parents and even friends could be prosecuted for attempting to put children on the right track or offering counselling sessions through prayers and the word of God.
Furthermore, a ban would remove God-given rights and duties from parents who truly want the best for their children. What authority does the state possess to monitor prayer and deliverance? Or is it the mere suggestion that someone might not want to remain homosexual that offends the activists? Could the omission of a ‘trans’ ban mean that ‘gender reassignment’ with hormones and surgical mutilation is not the marvellous thing the likes of Stonewall and Mermaids pretend?
In addition, schools are now awash with pro-gay and pro-trans ideology, as our previous articles reveal. No doubt there is a spiritual dimension to their campaigns and even to such feelings.
Conversion therapy vs ‘trans’ advice
There is a clear distinction between two possible levels of alleged ‘conversion therapy’.
For homosexuality, it would mean supportive and consensual prayer and counselling for unwanted same-sex desires or confusion over a person’s sexual ‘orientation’.
For ‘gender dysphoria’ it would be advising someone, probably an adolescent, who is dissatisfied with his/her sex as discerned (not ‘assigned’!) at birth that it will be better to accept how the good Lord has made them, rather than go on the ‘trans pathway’ of irreversible hormones and surgical mutilation.
However, the British Psychological Society (BPS) , NHS England and the Royal College of Psychiatrists all claim that all types of ‘conversion therapy’ are ‘unethical and potentially harmful’, as if the trans pathway isn’t. Their position appears not to be evidence-based but adopted as a result of pro-gay activism against or within those institutions.
‘Affirmative’ approach to ‘gender dysphoria’
In recent times, a perspective known as the ‘affirmative’ approach to ‘gender dysphoria’ has emerged within clinical settings, including the contentious Tavistock Clinic within the NHS. When dealing with cases of what they call ‘gender dysphoria,’ this approach tells clinicians merely to validate a child’s ‘self-identified gender identity’ instead of raising questions or looking for possible psychological background. Perhaps the child is on the autism spectrum. Perhaps they are having difficulty accepting the normal process of puberty..
Subsequently, despite any underlying emotional problems, the affirmative trans pathway leads to placing the child on a medical course of action that may result in lifelong and irreversible consequences. It is important to note that these interventions, whether hormone therapy or the inevitable ‘gender reaffirming’ surgery, have significant, permanent effects. Boys are prevented from growing up. Girls end up with deepened voices and start growing facial hair.
NHS is pro-trans: The Equality Act allowed King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to paint this ‘Progress Pride’ abomination on a walkway at their Princess Royal Hospital, Orpington.
There have been published reports of teenagers who now regret what their lives turned out to be, having undergone ‘treatment’ for ‘gender dysphoria’. Some have taken legal action against the Tavistock. And although the latter is now set to close, such is the pro-trans attitude in NHS Trusts that its hydra-headed replacements are sure to perpetuate what will be seen in years to come as a major medical scandal.
We are talking about young boys having their private parts inverted, needing constant insertion of objects with artificial lubrication to keep the constructed passage open. Read here about the tragedy of Jazz Jennings, whose mental health issues after ‘gender reassignment’ have led to binge eating, a weight gain of 7 stone and an inability to form any kind of adult relationship. We are also talking about girls having double mastectomies of healthy breasts with the resulting surplus skin cut to place their nipple approximately when a man’s would be. Read here about Sinead Watson’s bitter regrets. It is heartbreaking that a constitutionally Christian country would permit such barbarism.
How common is conversion therapy?
UK-wide “LGBT” Survey in 2018, about 5% of the 108,000 respondents said they had been offered some undefined form of conversion therapy, while 2% had undergone it.
About 10% of Christian respondents and 20% of Muslims said they had undergone or been offered conversion therapy, whatever it was, compared to 6% of those with no religion.
More than half of those who had received the ‘therapy’ said it had been conducted by a faith group, while a fifth received it from healthcare professionals.
Who wants ‘conversion therapy’ banned?
“LGBTQ” lobby group, Stonewall clearly campaigns against ‘conversion therapy’. It claims that there is nothing therapeutic about the process of convincing or talking people out of either having same-sex relationships or attempting to ‘change gender’. Stonewall claim ‘conversion therapy’ is an abuse, again, with no evidence of what it is that is happening, if anything.
According to the organisation, ‘more than 1.5 million “LGBTQ+” people in England and Wales remain ‘at risk’ of the attempt they again describe as ‘harmful attempts to cure us’.
The pro-gay and pro-trans activists call, as one might expect, for ‘a clear and concrete timetable from the UK Government’ ‘No more delays. No more loopholes. Time is running out,’ they add, mysteriously. Once more, it is the concept that someone might not want to be gay or might reject the trans pathway which is bothering them. Make no mistake, this is a spiritual war.
The Biblical position
Christian Voice strongly opposes any ban on conversion therapy. Freedom to prayer and talk is God’given and the hallmark of a civilised society. Stopping children from ‘transitioning’ is essential. There should be no ban on helping children come to terms with the sex they were born as and no ban or prayer and counselling.
We maintain that it would infringe not just human rights but the teachings of the Bible, which places sexual activity solely inside heterosexual marriage and warns against thinking better than our Creator.
Further, the Evangelical Alliance, which represents 3,500 churches, also agrees that a ban could jeopardise religious freedoms.
However, the Church of England, sadly sold out to secularism, and blind to the medical abuse of the ‘trans pathway’, says prayer or counselling has ‘no place in the modern world’.

Pray that people will sign our petition and write to their MP regarding the issue. Thank God for those MPs lending their voices to safeguard both children and basic freedom.
Pray that God will grant victory and no ‘conversion therapy’ ban will be in the King’s Speech on 7th November. Continue to pray without ceasing for our leaders to repent, for God’s institution of the family to be honoured and for our children to be protected.

A Christian teacher is at risk of losing her career for refusing to promote and teach extreme “LGBTQ” ideology at a Church of England (CofE) secondary school. Glawdys Leger is being criticised for expressing her biblical beliefs on human sexuality in response to student questions, according to the Telegraph

The 43-year-old, had been a specialist Modern Foreign Languages teacher for 12 years before she was sacked by Bishop Justus CofE School in Bromley, Kent in May 2022.
Ms. Leger asserts that she was unfairly treated and likened to a ‘dangerous criminal’ because of her decision to decline to teach extreme and politically partisan “LGBTQ” lessons, which had been incorporated into Religious Education (RE) lessons, to year 7 pupils at the school.
Specifically, she expressed her biblical beliefs regarding human sexuality that ‘God believes humans are born male and female and that LGBTQI practice is sinful.’ This was in response to questions posed by her students.
The Aquinas Church of England Education Trust subsequently reported Ms Leger to the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) because she allegedly upset one pupil by sharing her views on “LBGTQ”
On the basis of upset, not harm to a child, the TRA decided to take forward a case against her.
Ms Leger faces a fitness to practise hearing at the TRA’s headquarters in Coventry, the outcome of which could see her barred from the profession indefinitely.
After starting work at the school in 2017, Ms Leger had seen a continuous increase in the promotion of “LGBTQ” identities and other contentious ethical and political issues within the “Christian” school.
As well as language lessons, Ms Leger also had to teach RE, but discovered that teaching material included extreme content on gender identity with themes that begin to suggest to children that humans can be born in the wrong body.
Materials for RE entitled ‘Who Am I’ included introducing children in Year 7 to gender identities, such as pansexual, asexual, intersex and transgender.
The lessons were also designed to encourage ‘allyship’, which the materials described as: “Typically a non-queer person who supports and advocates for the queer community.”
She said, ‘Presentation slides integrated the idea that a condition of friendship and ‘allyship’ at the school would involve defending and promoting any ‘protected characteristics’, including any gender identities.
Gender identity is not a protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010, which makes such teaching misleading and partisan.’
This is a wake up call for parents not to take their eyes off children just because they are enrolled in Christian schools. More because sodomy ideologies have been sold to schools across Britain in the guise of sexuality education and the promotion of “inclusivity”.
Surely, a school built on Christian values is expected to uphold Biblical standards. However, this is not the case. The time to be a watchman, a teacher and guardian to children is now.
The Bible says, Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Deviating from UK education policy
According to the UK education policy, one of its objectives is ensuring children learn the basics of literacy and numeracy, as well as transferable skills.
‘We will build on our current engagement in pre-primary education, in recognition of its role in preparing children for the classroom and securing foundation skills.’
From the government’s own drafted and published policy, where is the correlation between ‘ the basics of literacy, and “LGBTQ” propaganda?
Is it not presenting a biased perspective that children are only allowed to learn or accept the existence of different genders (which is clearly non-existence) while teaching them the truth is deemed as unlawful?

Christians in similar situations
A Christian councillor who was placed on suspension and is currently under investigation for tweeting that pride is not a virtue but a sin attended the Conservative Party Conference last week to protest his suspension as a local Conservative Party councillor.

The Hamas atrocity has shocked us all. Thirteen hundred are dead, with over a hundred hostages taken into Gaza. It is impossible to comprehend the horror unleashed by these cowardly terrorists who spread out to gun down defenceless, unarmed civilians. Christian Voice stands with the state and people of Israel and with the Christians of the Holy Land as we pray for peace.
Post Script Friday 13th October 2023: Israel has already dropped leaflets in northern Gaza telling the inhabitants to evacuate with 24 hours. Hamas want their people to stay as human shields, of course. Israel are very unlikely to invade on the Jewish Sabbath, but it will be soon. How will Israeli soldiers distinguish between Hamas terrorists (those not firing on them that is) and civilians? How long will it take to eradicate Hamas? Is it even possible, in view of widespread Muslim support for the Jew-hating Hamas Charter? When Muslim England cricketers and UK doctors are tweeting support for Hamas and antisemitic crimes in London are rocketing (see below), is the Muslim mind itself an insurmountable problem?
The Bible says, in a psalm sung at both the King’s coronation and that of his mother before him: Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
The seer Balaam was paid to curse Israel, but God inspired him to say this instead: Numb 23:23 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!
Hamas is proscribed by the UK Government as a terrorist organisation. Yet the BBC has called the Hamas gunmen by the lesser term of ‘militants’ rather than ‘terrorists’. James Cleverly, the Foreign Secretary, Lucy Frazer, the Culture Secretary, and Grant Shapps, the Defence Secretary, have all expressed concern about the BBC’s position.
John Simpson, the BBC’s world affairs editor, said the BBC would be “taking sides” if it labelled Hamas as terrorists, threatening journalistic ‘impartiality’. According to the Telegraph, Mr Simpson’s explanation has cut no ice with four top lawyers, Lord Wolfson KC, Lord Pannick KC, Lord Grabiner KC and Jeremy Brier KC. They have written to Ofcom urging the regulator to investigate the corporation. They say the BBC has taken sides already in describing Hamas in “more sympathetic terms”.
Their letter points out that the BBC referred to the Manchester Arena bombing as a “terror attack”. The BBC Bitesize GCSE guide refers to both Al Qaeda and the IRA as “terrorist” groups. “The use of the word ‘terrorism’ is neither confusing nor imprecise. It is a very accurate statement within the natural use of the English language as to what Hamas is engaged in,” the authors say. “If the BBC is only declining to use the word ‘terrorist’ in the context of Israel then this is further evidence of partiality.”
Protest at Israeli Embassy

Turkish website Anadolu Agency reported: ‘Hundreds of pro-Palestine protesters gathered in front of the Israeli Embassy in London on Monday, triggering a tense standoff between demonstrators and law enforcement officers. The rally was organized by several UK groups including Friends of Al-Aqsa, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Stop the War, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, the Muslim Association of Britain (‘Presenting a balanced and calm image of British Muslims’) and the Palestinian Forum in Britain.’
The Daily Sceptic reported on an NHS Doctor who mocked Israeli festival-goers fleeing Hamas gunmen and called on the UK to forcibly remove the entire Israeli population
Moeen Ali – not a Muslim extremist.
Dr. Mennah Elwan is a neurologist at the Walton Centre in Liverpool. She claimed “there are no civilians in Israel” in a series of abhorrent posts on X, formerly known as Twitter. Dr. Elwan attended a British Medical Association (BMA) rally at the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester last week. In her tweets she showed support for Hamas brutality. She mocked those fleeing the gunmen as just ‘running away’, and said the U.K. should ‘simply take the Israeli population away from Palestine’. BMA bosses said her opinions “do not reflect its values”.
Muslim antisemitism in the UK
The Telegraph reported today that England cricketer Moeen Ali posted a Palestinian flag on social media in an apparent show of support for Palestine. He paired the picture with a quote from Malcolm X, the American Muslim activist, on ‘oppression’. In truth, it can easily be argued it is Hamas who oppress the people of Gaza, not Israel.
Moeen also said this week that he feared growing a beard would lead to accusations he was a Muslim extremist. Perish the thought. Moeen wants to be seen just as an ordinary Muslim who hates Israel. Earlier this year, Yorkshire County Cricket Club was fined £400,000 over a racism scandal involving Azeem Rafiq, but not before Azeem himself was reprimanded for antisemitic comments he made in a 2011 exchange of messages on Facebook with fellow former professional cricketer Ateeq Javid, another Muslim.
The uncomfortable truth is that hatred of Jewish people is written in the scriptures of Islam. ‘The Victory of Muslims Over Jews,’ is from Mohammed’s sayings in the Hadith, the ‘stories’. This one was narrated by Abi Hurira: ‘The last hour won’t come before the Muslims would fight the Jews and the Muslims will kill them so Jews would hide behind rocks and trees. Then the rocks and tree would call: oh Muslim, oh servant of God! There is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.’
The Hamas attack has sparked an outpouring of Muslim antisemitic hatred within our shores. The Independent reportson a ‘massive increase’ in antisemitic hate crimes recorded by the Metropolitan Police since the eruption of violence. The paper goes on: ‘In the period between 30 September and 13 October, the force recorded 105 incidents of antisemitism and 75 offences – up from just 14 incidents and 12 offences during the same period in 2022.’ Three north London Jewish schools closed for the day, citing concerns for children’s safety amid the rise in antisemitism.
Labour Party Conference

Last week, the Labour Party Conference allowed the Palestine Solidarity Campaign a stall. The group calls for a boycott of Israel. It also said the Hamas attacks were a ‘response’ to Israel ‘apartheid’.
Furthermore, two Muslim Labour politicians posed at the stall for photographs. First up was Apsana Begum MP. Then came Afzal Khan, the shadow exports minister, who posed with an activist from the pressure group. Mr Khan said later in a statement: “I want to apologise for any offence caused by stopping by the PSC stall at this time. I unequivocally condemn the terrorist actions of Hamas and support Israel’s right to defend itself.” There has been no apology from Apsana Begum, MP for Poplar and Limehouse and no sanction against her from the Labour leadership.
Only today, the Telegraph reported on a Cambridge Students’ Union welfare officer ‘liking’ tweets in support of Hamas’s attack on Israel. Harvey Brown is responsible for improving the welfare of University of Cambridge students. He ‘liked’ a series of Twitter posts that supported Hamas, including one heralding “a day of celebration” as “Hamas fighters cross into their colonisers’ territory”.
Jewish students at the university have said they feel ‘unsafe’. Mr Brown has not explained how liking pro-Hamas tweets improves the welfare of Jewish students.
Why does the left hate Israel?
It is worth asking why so many people on the political left hate Israel so much. I am aware of course of right-wing hatred of Israel, of saying that everything is the fault of ‘the Jews’ or that ‘they’ run the Bilderbergers and the World Economic Forum and the whole banking system.
Initially, the Left loved the Kibbutz idea
But why is there so much anti-semitism among those who regard themselves as ‘progressive? American conservative radio talk show host Dennis Prager believes it begins with the absence on the irreligious left of a moral compass. Instead, they have a power compass, a race compass, and a class compass. In the early days, with the leftist Kibbutz system, Israel was good, and fashionable. However, as Israel has won wars and become strong, vis a vis the ‘Palestinians’, it has become ‘bad’, and they have become ‘good’, says Mr Prager. It does not matter how much terror the latter engage in. That does not register because, remember, the left has no moral compass. Because they are ‘weak’, the terrorists are ‘good’.
Next, Jews are perceived as ‘white’ and the Palestinians as ‘non-white’. That might not be true, but it is how they see it. Add in the Labour Party’s assumption that every non-white person must be in their constituency, including every Muslim, and the case is settled. Mix in the class angle and Jewish bankers, being rich, tick all three ‘bad’ boxes, while Palestinian gunmen, being poor, tick all three ‘good’ ones.
Obviously a lot of absurd and illogical thinking along these lines occurs as well. Unborn babies are weak, and mothers are strong, so abortion is wrong, you might think. Not so. women are weak by definition, so they are good. The left must not allow themselves to think of pre-born babies as human beings, so their weakness never comes into consideration.

King Charles condemns attacks

On a more positive note, The Telegraph reported on support for Israel from the Royal family.
The King condemned the “barbaric acts of terrorism”, while the Prince and Princess of Wales said they were “profoundly distressed” by the “horrors inflicted by Hamas’s terrorist attack”.
According to reports, His Majesty has spoken to both Yitzhak Herzog, the president of Israel, and to King Abdullah of Jordan on the telephone. The King has also held talks with the Chief Rabbi at Buckingham Palace after expressing his concern about the “barbaric acts of terrorism” in Israel. Charles welcomed Sir Ephraim Mirvis to the London royal residence on Thursday afternoon, meeting in the King’s audience room.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman said the monarch, 74, who made an historic first visit to Israel and the ‘West Bank’ (aka Judea and Samaria) in 2020, was “extremely concerned” about the conflict and had asked to be kept abreast of developments. “His thoughts and prayers are with all of those suffering, particularly those who have lost loved ones, but also those actively involved as we speak,” added the spokesman.
Two-State Solution is dead
For decades, Western politicians have spoken of a ‘Two-State Solution’ to the presence of the Arab ‘Palestinian’ population in Israel. Following the Hamas attacks, that must now be dead in the water. Middle East Experts are now ‘Confounded’ according to The Atlantic, the journal of the US military establishment.
In the words of the 1988 Hamas Charter, never rescinded, ‘Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.’ (Preamble.)
The Charter says in Article 6: ‘The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas – Ed) is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine.’
The Charter claims the Holy Land is ‘Islamic land’ or ‘Muslim land’ in articles eleven, thirteen and repeats the Hamas goal of destroying Israel in Article 15: ‘The day the enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the individual duty of every Moslem. In the face of the Jews’ usurpation, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised.’ (Article 15)
Hamas exists in a constant attitude of war against Israel. The Prophet Jeremiah wrote: Jer 4:19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
It is impossible to have states next door one of which rains bombs on the other and calls for its destruction. The ‘Two-State Solution’ is dead. Even the Center for Strategic Studies says: ‘The two-state solution may not be dead, but it is close enough to death to make efforts to resuscitate it little more than zombie diplomacy.’
Israel has now laid siege to Gaza even as Hamas still holds over a hundred hostages. The terrorists have threatened to kill hostages in retaliation to any attacks. Nevertheless, Israeli forces are massing near the strip preparing for a full-scale invasion to destroy Hamas by killing its leaders. Hamas and its ideology must be eradicated for the people of Israel to sleep safe in their beds.
We can even see Hamas as the spirit of Haman the Agagite (Esther 3:1ff) all over again:
Est 3:6 And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.
Hamas, says The Atlantic, was ‘an offshoot of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood’. It has controlled the Gaza Strip since it won Palestinian legislative elections in 2006. That was the last time elections were held in Gaza. In 2007, Hamas ousted its rival political party, the equally-corrupt Fatah, in a military conflict.
There is widespread unemployment in Gaza, with no industry or agriculture to speak of. The strip measures 25 miles long by an average of less than 6 miles wide, giving an area of 141 square miles, just less than the Isle of Wight. But whereas the population of the Isle of Wight is 142,00, that of Gaza is 2 million. Gaza borders Egypt to the south-west and the Mediterranean to the north-west, although Israel controls, or tries to control, its shipping. Gaza has a small port in Gaza city, which has been inhabited for four thousand years. It was held by the Philistines in Bible times.
Gaza is probably where Samson destroyed the great hall. It was certainly where he was brought after Delilah’s betrayal: Judges 16:21 But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.
Follow the money
The BBC is reporting as at 17.20pm on 12th October 2023: ‘The situation in Gaza is “dire”, with food and water running out during an Israeli siege, according to the UN’s World Food Programme.’ The reality is, with Gaza totally dependent on Israel for virtually everything, food and water will be running out. If Hamas had spent the aid money they have received on building infrastructure and improving the lives of Gazans instead of on weapons and enriching themselves, it could have all been different.
For example, the Telegraph reports: ‘Hamas and its allies were sent hundreds of millions of pounds’ worth of cryptocurrencies in the months before the terrorist group’s attacks on Israel. More than $134m (£108m) was transferred to cryptocurrency accounts controlled by Hamas and the allied Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) group during the first half of 2023, according to analysts.’
Why did it happen?
We know this promise in the Bible: Psalm 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. (KJV)
So why did the Hamas atrocity happen? I have seen a post saying it happened because the authorities wanted it to happen. I’m not so sure. We know about false flag operations. The Americans at the highest level are said to have allowed the sinking of the Lusitania in order to bring the US into the First World War. They are said to have had advance intelligence of the attack on Pearl Harbour and to have permitted it so as to build public opinion to join WWII. We can stack up more recent events if we wish. And we know those in power in our own land are tainted by sin. They can be arrogant, ruthless, ambitious, unscrupulous, narcissistic, stupid, self-seeking and plain evil. But I am struggling to see a Jewish mindset, with their deep respect for human life, allowing Hamas terrorists free entry into Israel to cause such devastation.
Gay Pride has been allowed in Jerusalem since 2002.
At the same time, abortion has been legal in Israel since 1977, if approved by a ‘termination committee’. See this Israel government web page. The committee almost always gives approval. Ynetnews reports 99.5% of requests, including for ‘mental damage’, are approved. Abortions are also carried out privately with next to no sanctions.
Johnston’s Archive shows legal abortions running at 16,500 in 2021. Live births were 185,056. The ratio is 8% of pregnancies end in abortion. The Israeli state has allowed over 800,000 infants to lose their lives in this way since 1977.
Such bloodshed cannot please the Almighty. Nor will the abomination of ‘gay pride’ parades, held in Jerusalem now for over 20 years. Much as Israeli politicians want to show the West how ‘progressive’ they are, one might have thought securing the blessing of Almighty God was more of a priority. The man of God, Ezra, asked:
Ezra 9:14 Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?
Beware fake news
Christians are called to be people not just of the truth of the Gospel but of truth itself:
Psalm 144:11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
It follows that we should beware fake news. Just because something sounds right to us, or is something which just ought to be true, does not mean it is true. Christians are currently circulating a speech attributed to Benjamin Netanyahu. It is undated, unplaced, and supported by no URL at all, let alone any news site. It begins: ‘Only 70 years ago the Jews were led to the slaughterhouse like sheep.‘ Or ‘to slaughter’. And it goes on. And on, and on.
Some may think it is genuine because it is on the website of the Judean People’s Front, but there is no indication there where, when or to whom Mr Netanyahu is supposed to have delivered it. Even a tweet on their page bears no relation to the alleged speech.
In fact, the piece has been doing the rounds for almost four years. There is a version of it dated January 2020 here on Facebook
I have been around for a good while and seen a lot of this sort of time-wasting false witness. Christians share it uncritically, as gullible as the world, if not more so. This ‘speech’ has all the hallmarks of invention. Someone has just confected an impressive collection of things they would like Benjamin Netanyahu to have said.
Isa 62:6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, 7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
With an Israeli invasion of Gaza expected any day, and so much of the politics intractable, it is hard to draw firm conclusions or advocate smart prayer points. But some targets for prayer are obvious:
1 Please give the Lord no rest as you pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the whole nation of Israel and its people. Pray the Lord will safeguard the hostages. Pray for the Lord to protect the Israeli soldiers and give them wisdom as they go in to Gaza to bring the Hamas terrorists to justice and spare the innocent. Pray for the complete eradication of the Hamas mindset.
2 Pray the Lord will keep safe the Christians of Gaza and those in Jewish and Muslim areas in all of Israel.
3 Pray for an end to Gaza as a terrorist enclave. Pray its people can go about their work in peace and be governed by men of peace.
4 Let us remember the only true hope for peace in the Holy Land is the Son of God who was born there. Pray for an outpouring of the Gospel and Holy Spirit to convict of sin and bring new life and reconciliation.
5 As some (but not us!) predict WWIII: Pray there is no escalation of this conflict.

More than seven months after the event, Ealing Council have decided to prosecute me for Day 1 of February’s Buffer Zone Challenge.

The Challenge involved a witness over five days, from Monday 6th February to Friday 10th February 2023, within the five Public Spaces Protection Order ‘Safe Zones’ local authorities in England had set up around commercial abortion facilities in their areas.
The five were, in order, Ealing, Twickenham, Bournemouth, Manchester and Birmingham. The final four went off without incident. In Bournemouth, outside British Pregnancy Advisory Services (BPAS), the police attended and heard the Gospel.
I am to appear for a preliminary hearing at 10am at Uxbridge Magistrates Court, Harefield Road, UB8 1PQ, on 17th October 2023.
The charge sheet reads:
‘On 6th February 2023, you did something you were prohibited from doing in an area which is within the Mattock Lane Safe Zone Public Spaces Protection Order outside the MSI Reproductive Choices Clinic in that you:
‘a) Protested by engaging in an act of disapproval or attempted act of act of disapproval with respect to issues related to abortion services, by written means in that you were holding a large sign displaying the text ‘Psalm 139:13 For thou hast possessed me (sic) reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb’
‘b) Had text displayed on a large sign namely ‘‘Psalm 139:13 For thou hast possessed me (sic) reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb’ relating directly or indirectly to the termination of pregnancy.
‘Contrary to Section 67 (1) (a) Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.’
Bible on trial
Make no mistake, the Bible itself will be on trial in this case which is an assault on Christian freedom.
King Charles took his oath on the King James Bible at his coronation on 6th May, but he would not be allowed to read from it outside Marie Stopes in Ealing.
PRAY: that God is glorified. Praise the Lord that a lawyer has already read a verse from the Bible (even if he or she couldn’t quote it properly.)

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak addresses the 2023 Conservative Party Conference
The UK prime minister has finally taken a stand on the gender debate, but will his words lead to action?
During his speech at the Conservative Party Conference (CPC) in Manchester, Mr. Sunak said people cannot change sex, or ‘gender’.
‘ Patients should know when hospitals are talking about men or women, and we shouldn’t be bullied into believing that people could be any sex they want to be, but they can’t. A man is a man and a woman is a woman. That’s just common sense.’
He also said it should ‘not be controversial’ for parents to know what their children are being taught in school about relationships.
These are all very fine words, but where is the proposed legislative action?
The statements made by Mr Sunak during his speech at the CPC are very welcome. However, everything he said will make not a bead of difference without repealing the Gender Recognition Act .
This 2004 Act, brought in under Tony Blair, enables people to change their legally recognised sex by obtaining a Gender Recognition Certificate ( GRC ).
So if ‘A man is a man and is a woman. That’s just common sense,’ where is the commitment to repeal the Gender Recognition Act, which says the precise opposite? Mr. Sunak’s comments were applauded at the CPC and made catchy headlines in the Daily Telegraph. But they are empty words without action.
The Bible says, John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
The Equality Act allowed King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to paint this ‘Progress Pride’ abomination on a walkway at their Princess Royal Hospital, Orpington.
If ‘hospitals are talking about men or women, and we shouldn’t be bullied into believing that people could be any sex they want to be’, what will he do to repeal the Equality Act 2010 which compels public authorities like government departments and NHS trusts to promote ‘gender reassignment’?
The Act provided a legal framework to advance the woke agenda under the guise of “equality” of opportunity. Where is Mr Sunak’s promise to repeal it?
With this Act in place, the NHS is under an obligation to promote “diversity and inclusion, or to leverage on existing laws for political gain and woke propaganda. We read that civil servants can ‘change gender’ on a daily basis. Where is Mr Sunak’s decision to stop that absurdity?
Rishi Sunak’s Government has long been promising to publish guidance for schools on how they should act when pupils want to self-identify as a different gender from the one assigned at birth. Schools are already allowing children to ‘socially transition’, demand teachers and classmates call them by the pronouns of the opposite sex and adopt that clothing. Some schools are going for ‘gender-neutral’ clothing. ‘Social Transition’ sets children on a pathway to puberty-blocking hormones and mutilatory surgery, which a civilised, let alone a constitutionally-Christian, country should not be permitting either.
But ministers have had to water down the proposals after being warned that a change to the Equality Act would be needed to implement them.
If Mr Sunak is to be true to his words he should order the complete repeal of the Equality Act 2010. Where is his promise to even cut out the ‘protected characteristics’?
Mr Sunak’s Education Secretary, Gillian Keegan, believes children should be able to change gender’ at sixteen. If he really believes what he said, why has he not sacked her?
The LGBT propaganda of Sex-Ed
Miriam Cates MP has proposed a bill to let parents see RSE materials.
Lastly, if Rishi Sunak believes it should ‘not be controversial’ for parents to know what their children are being taught in school about relationships, what is he doing to give parents that right? .
A bill introduced by Miriam Cates MP to do that, albeit in a half-hearted way, will not even be debated in parliament this year. And it is a private member’s (back-bencher’s) bill. Where is the Government bill?
We also reported in August that parents are taking the government to court to outlaw the LGBT propaganda of Relationships and Sex Education. Yet in 2019, only 11 Conservative Party MPs opposed the RSE guidelines in a vote in Parliament. 227 of his MPs voted for it. Rishi Sunak was among them.
If the Prime Minister is serious, and if his were not empty words, he needs to state the legislative action he is going to take right now.

Thank God for Rishi Sunak’s words, but pray he takes action. Pray for HIs Majesty’s Government to repeal wickedness and enact righteousness.

Immunology expert and Professor of Oncology at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London, Angus Dalgleish, has said all mRNA vaccines must be banned at once, in an article in Conservative Woman, .
According to Prof. Dalgleish, In the summer of 2020 a paper he co-authored, which described the findings of an Anglo-Norwegian team of scientists who had deonstrated unique ‘fingerprints’ of laboratory manipulation in the Covid virus, was suppressed in both the US and UK.
‘Accusations of dramatic variations in batch-to-batch variability – an absolute ‘no no’ in vaccine manufacture protocols – which could explain why side effects were more common in some batches than others were denied but were borne out by definitive Danish research report.’
‘To put it bluntly, this means that they are not vaccines at all but Genetically Modified Organisms that should have been subject to totally different regulatory conditions and certainly not be classed as vaccines.
‘All this data, which is slowly breaking through into the public domain, comes hard on the heels of the latest findings that booster vaccines actually increase the chance of getting infected by 3.6 times.
‘It gets worse. Supporters of this technology have claimed that it can be adapted to chase new variants. But it can’t. … In one study, all bivalent-vaccinated mice which were challenged with Covid became ill.
‘At the end of last year I reported that I was seeing melanoma patients who had been stable for years relapse after their first booster (their third injection). I was told it was merely a coincidence and to keep quiet about it, but it became impossible to do so. The number of my patients affected has been rising ever since. I saw two more cases of cancer relapse post booster vaccination in my patients just this last week.
