Hadi Alodid kneels over one Stephen Ogilvie and attempts to behead him with a knife in Belfast.

It’s like the Book of Job. As soon as one disaster happens, another rushes in.

Police brutality against Henry Nowak in Southampton is followed by our elite approving an asylum seeker who then attempts to behead a man in Belfast. Hadi Alodid, a 30-year-old Sudanese citizen who travelled from Sudan to Paris, flew to Dublin, took a bus to Belfast, applied for asylum, which was granted, was arrested at the scene, as the Guardian reports.

And now His Majesty’s Secretary of State for Defence and the Armed Forces Minister have both resigned, as the BBC reports, telling Keir Starmer he is failing to protect the United Kingdom and its people.

What should be the Christian response to this latest outrage? What does the Bible say? Watch our video on Rumble (or if you prefer, here on YouTube):

Violent disorder

Clockwise from top: Daniel Frost, Andrew Summerhayes, Reece Robinson, Taylor Grundy and Dillon Crawford were sentenced on Wednesday (BBC)

The BBC reports that five men have been convicted of violent disorder following the Southampton protests last week. Some of them had previous convictions. One young man, Reece Robinson, had a ‘completely clear record, not even a parking ticket’, according to his barrister. He was still jailed for two years.

This week, in Belfast, a violent mob set light to cars, buses, even houses known to be occupied by migrants. See GB News and See Spiked Online.

Plainly, violence against the person and destruction of property are against the laws of God.

When we reported on the Nowak atrocity, (article here and video above), we saw from scripture, in First Kings chapter 12, that when the people rebel it’s the autocratic elite who must take the blame in the eyes of God, not the people.

Equally, it is plain that lawless, thuggish elements will take advantage of a protest. But if the legitimate grievance is not there already, it won’t happen.

Peaceful Unite the Kingdom Rally would feel the ‘full force of the law’, according to Keir Starmer

And leaving aside those elements, what are people expected to do when an arrogant political elite holds them and their concerns, their legitimate needs for security, safety, justice and freedom to earn a living, in contempt? And employs its apparatus, ‘the full force of the law’ in the words of Sinn Fein First Minister Michelle O’Neill, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood and Prime Minister Keir Starmer, against them?

We have already reported how Keir Starmer even used that language against the peaceful ‘Unite the Kingdom’ rally in London just last month.

Judge’s Establishment gaslighting

His Honour Judge William (Bill) Mousley KC
His Honour Judge William (Bill) Mousley KC

In the Southampton Court, Judge William Mousley KC was sitting in judgment over the charged protesters. He previously gave Vickrum Digwa a sentence for the murder of Henry Nowak that has been described as ‘unduly lenient’. In this case, he said the subsequent disorder on the streets was a ‘hate crime’. That comment itself reveals the two-tier justice in the Establishment’s godless system. There are only ‘crimes’, in the eyes of God. It is forbidden to exalt categories of victim:

Lev 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

The disorder had left, he declared, a legacy of ‘heightened anxiety’. To be honest, there should be anxiety in the corridors of power over how their two-tier policing and their failure to secure our borders is seen by ordinary people.

The learned judge said it also left a policing bill approaching £450,000 and the ‘diversion of scarce public resources away from core services’. But Hampshire Police have already wasted twice that on woke Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, developing policies which paved the way to the protests in the first place, so don’t pull that one, Your Honour.

A call for able, humble men

The Establishment simply do not understand either scripture or leadership, or how their posturing looks to those underneath them.

Scripture calls for: Exod 18:21 … able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; … to lead at every level of society.

In other words, we must pray the Lord will raise up humble, God-fearing, honest, truthful, competent men who will clear out the godless politicians, civil servants, judges, academics, quangocrats from their positions where they lord it over ordinary people.

As Mary, the mother of our Lord, put it in her inspired song of praise (known as the ‘Magnificat’, from the Latin for ‘magnify’):

Luke 1:51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
Luke 1:52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

Prayer

Join us in praying: ‘Lord, have mercy on us. Save us from these wicked men and women. Save us from the inevitable civil war if new leaders do not quickly unite us under the Lord Jesus Christ whose cross we see on our national and Union flags.’
