The Labour government, while preaching fairness and equality, seems increasingly detached from the everyday struggles of the people they claim to represent. From the acceptance of lavish gifts such as; concert tickets to designer spectacles, birthday parties , New York holidays, designer specs and children’s accommodation, demonstrates a disconnect between Labour’s actions and the values their government espouse.

These luxuries contrast sharply with the hardships faced by many citizens, particularly pensioners, who now face the bleak reality of losing their winter fuel payments. The politicians, however, appear unbothered by the contrast, accepting their privileges as though they are rightfully theirs.

The issue lies not just in the gifts themselves but in the lack of remorse or reflection from those who receive them. Labour’s leadership, notably Keir Starmer, Rachel Reeves, and Angela Rayner, seem more troubled by the fact that they are being questioned than by the ethical dilemma their actions pose.

Their collective silence, broken only to claim their actions were ‘within the rules,’ reflects a deeper problem of moral complacency. By focusing on technicalities rather than the bigger picture, they ignore the fact that such indulgence sends a damaging message to the electorate.

Leaders are called to serve, not to indulge in excess. Instead of acting as servants of justice, Labour’s leadership risks undermining the very stability they claim to uphold.

A moral blind spot

What’s even more disheartening is the Labour government’s failure to see the moral contradiction between accepting lavish gifts and cutting crucial social services. Sir Starmer’s nonchalance about taking over £100,000 in gifts while simultaneously removing winter-fuel payments shows a blatant disregard for the struggles of the elderly and vulnerable.

The party seems more focused on staying within legal boundaries than addressing the ethical failings of their choices. It’s a disturbing reflection of how far they have strayed from the principles of fairness and equality.

This entitlement to luxuries reflects a political elite out of touch with reality. Labour’s leaders appear to believe that following the letter of the law absolves them from any deeper responsibility to their constituents.

They cling to technicalities, oblivious to the growing resentment from those who are forced to choose between heating and eating. As they enjoy expensive holidays and designer clothes, the moral blindness of Labour’s leadership becomes clearer.

The Bible says,
Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

This passage speaks directly to the heart of the issue: greed blinds people to the needs of others. While Labour leaders may be within the bounds of legal regulations, their actions speak volumes about their lack of empathy for those who are struggling to make ends meet.

Entitlement and indignation

The indignation displayed by Labour leaders when questioned about their gifts reveals more than just political misjudgement, it exposes a profound sense of entitlement. Rather than express remorse, they act as if their moral character is beyond reproach, as though questioning their actions is a personal affront. This response shows just how deeply they believe in their own virtue, despite actions that suggest otherwise.

Mr. Starmer and his colleagues appear genuinely puzzled that anyone would challenge their judgement, believing that their position grants them immunity from scrutiny.

What has been unfolding in recent weeks is not just a scandal about gifts, it is a display of how political elites, wrapped in their own self-righteousness, can become divorced from the people they claim to serve.

Labour’s leadership, cocooned in their privileges, fails to recognise how their actions undermine the trust of ordinary citizens. Their refusal to acknowledge the moral failings inherent in their behaviour only deepens the divide between the governed and those in power.

James 4:17 reminds us;
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

The illusion of moral superiority

Labour’s leadership has long been indulged by friendly media coverage, praised more for being the ‘alternative’ to the Conservatives than for any meaningful policies or actions. Over time, this constant validation seems to have bred a sense of moral superiority among its leaders, who now view themselves as inherently virtuous.

Sir Keir Starmer and his colleagues have been propped up by this narrative of being the ‘good guys,’ causing them to lose sight of their true responsibilities. Surrounded by sycophants and unchallenged in their echo chambers, they’ve come to believe that symbolic gestures such as removing a portrait of Margaret Thatcher are enough to solidify their moral standing. Yet these gestures lack substance and fail to address the real concerns of the people. It’s as if the leadership is more focused on maintaining a facade of virtue than creating meaningful change.

The Bible
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Symbolism over substance

Since taking power, Labour’s leadership has increasingly relied on superficial displays of virtue to mask a lack of concrete solutions for the country’s problems. Removing portraits, promoting gender-based art, and other symbolic gestures have been their primary way of showing they stand for change. But these acts do little to improve the daily lives of struggling citizens.

What good is removing a portrait when pensioners are unable to heat their homes? What value is there in emphasising progressive art while industries like steel, vital to the economy, are in decline?

The focus on optics over substance reveals a deeper flaw in Labour’s leadership. Rather than face the tough challenges—such as job losses, rising energy costs, and economic instability, leaders seem content to be seen as socially progressive while offering little in the way of genuine solutions.

Their approach suggests that as long as they are perceived as morally upright, the real issues affecting the public can be sidelined.

Resignation over donorgate scandal

A Labour MP has quit the party over the freebies scandal, accusing Sir Keir Starmer of presiding over ‘sleaze, nepotism and apparent avarice that is ‘off the scale’.

Rosie Duffield , the MP for Canterbury, told Sir Keir that she was ‘ashamed’ of what he and his ‘inner circle’ had done to ‘tarnish and humiliate our once proud party’.

She declared that he was unfit for office after ‘inexplicably’ choosing to accept designer suits while at the same time pursuing ‘cruel and unnecessary’ policies.

The dramatic resignation sent Downing Street into turmoil on Saturday night and came as Sir Keir faced mounting pressure from within his own party to get a grip on the donations crisis.

The entire UK establishment is now protecting commercial businesses making money from abortion, even though the Bible says:

Deut 27:25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

So-called ‘Buffer Zones’ or ‘Safe Access Zones’ will be introduced around abortion premises in England and Wales starting on 31 October, the Home Office has announced. Those in Scotland and Northern Ireland are already in place.

The zones will make it illegal to ‘influence’ people’s decisions within a ‘safe access zone’. These zones, which will prohibit protests, will cover a 150-metre radius around places providing abortion in England and Wales, 200 metres in Scotland and between 100 and 250 metres in Northern Ireland.

(It is worth saying that ”safe’ as in ‘safe access zone’ does not mean ‘safe’ as we normally understand it, i.e., safe from attacks or trip hazards. It means ‘safe’ from hearing uncomfortable or inconvenient views. It also means making commercial operations safe from possible loss of income.)

What can you do where?

The Draft Guidance for England & Wales was published as a consultation in December 2023 and attempted to balance competing rights. (Draft Government Guidance: England & Wales) It was condemned by pro-aborts. The new Health Secretary, Wes Streeting MP, does not appear yet to have published the final version. The DOH page still says they are ‘analysing your feedback’. Will it be ‘illegal’ in our law to distribute pro-life leaflets or speak to individuals entering or working at such premises, or even to pray in silence? Who knows?

Those found guilty of violating the law could face unlimited fines. The list of affected premises in England and Wales is downloaded here (on tabs T1 & T2 of an excel-type spreadsheet).

It very much appears as if the Scottish government are leaving interpretation up to the police and the courts as are their Northern Ireland counterparts. So no-one knows whether they can exercise historic Christian freedom or not.

The Bible says:

The Public Order Act 2023

Under the law, section(9) of the Public Order Act 2023 states:

(1) It is an offence for a person who is within a safe access zone to do an act with the intent of, or reckless as to whether it has the effect of—
(a) influencing any person’s decision to access, provide or facilitate the provision of abortion services at an abortion clinic,
(b) obstructing or impeding any person accessing, providing, or facilitating the provision of abortion services at an abortion clinic, or
(c) causing harassment, alarm or distress to any person in connection with a decision to access, provide, or facilitate the provision of abortion services at an abortion clinic,where the person mentioned in paragraph (a), (b) or (c) is within the safe access zone for the abortion clinic.

The Bible says,
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Fundamental human right for murder?

‘Safeguarding’ Minister Jess Phillips MP claimed that the importance of the law is give women ‘fundamental right to access abortion services without fear of harassment or intimidation’.

‘We will not sit back and tolerate harassment, abuse and intimidation as people exercise their legal right to healthcare.’

But the word ‘healthcare’ is doing much heavy lifting there, considering an abortion in reality takes the life of a vulnerable human soul.

The Bible says,
Psalm 139:13-16 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb…I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well…My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth…Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

The England & Wales law was originally approved by Parliament in May 2023, but the government announced it would hold a consultation on guidance before implementing the zones.

According to the Home Office, the new regulations will be enforced from the end of October 2024.

What does ‘influence’ mean?

Under the law, as seen in Section 9:(1) of the Public Order Act 2023, any action that deliberately or recklessly ‘influences’ someone’s decision to access abortion services will face unlimited fines. But how will the courts interpret ‘influencing’ in this context?

It is also worthy to note that there is no list of banned words as in the 5 Local Authority Censorship Zones in England. This makes the term ‘influencing’ vague. Would it include general preaching against sin?

In September 2023, Northern Ireland enacted the Abortion Services (Safe Access Zones) Act (Northern Ireland) Act 2023.

It received Royal Assent on 6 February 2023. Under this law, pro- life protests and other behaviours are prohibited within areas described as ‘Safe Access Zone’ in accordance with Section 11(1) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (“the Act”), as referenced in this judgement on Clause 5(2)(a) of the Bill;

‘It is an offence for D to do an act in a safe access zone with the intent of, or reckless as to whether it has the effect of –
(a) influencing a protected person, whether directly or indirectly,
(b) preventing or impeding access by a protected person, or
(c) causing harassment, alarm or distress to a protected person,
in connection with the protected person attending protected premises for a purpose mentioned in section 3.’

Scotland follows suit

Meanwhile, Scotland’s ‘Abortion Services (Safe Access Zones) (Scotland) Bill’ which includes offence of influencing, preventing access or causing harassment etc, in an area visible or audible from safe access zone came into force in September 2024.

Under the Abortion Services (Safe Access Zones) (Scotland) Act 2024;

(1) A person who is in a safe access zone for protected premises commits an offence if the person does an act with the intention of, or is reckless as to whether the act has the effect of—
(a) influencing the decision of another person to access, provide or facilitate the provision of abortion services at the protected premises,
(b) preventing or impeding another person from accessing, providing or facilitating the provision of abortion services at the protected premises, or
(c) causing harassment, alarm or distress to another person in connection with the other person’s decision to access, provide or facilitate the provision of abortion services at the protected premises,where in each case the other person is in the safe access zone for the purpose of accessing, providing or facilitating the provision of abortion services at the protected premises.

‘Unnecessary and disproportionate’

Bishop John Sherrington, Lead Bishop for Life Issues for the Roman Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, has said buffer zone legislation discriminates against people of faith.

‘The “safe access zone” law is “unnecessary and disproportionate,” he said. He emphasised that existing laws already protect women from harassment, and the new law could unfairly target people of faith, restricting their right to express religious beliefs through prayer and outreach.

Bishop Sherrington added, ‘Religious freedom is the foundational freedom of any free and democratic society,’ and expressed concern over the lack of clarity regarding the practice of private prayer within these zones.

In the past it has been Catholics, mainly women, who have maintained vigils at abortion premises.

Buffer zone trial

Stephen Green on 6th February 2023 outside Marie Stopes abortion facility in Mattock Lane, Ealing.

In February 2024, the Christian Voice National Director was convicted in Uxbridge Magistrates Court of breaching a Public Spaces Protection Order outside Marie Stopes in Ealing in 2023.

Stephen Green held a sign bearing Psalm 139:13 ‘For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.’

The preacher has appealed against his conviction and will face a new trial in Isleworth Crown Court TW7 5LG on 29 and 30th October. His trial will conclude the day before the new England & Wales law takes effect.

Corrupt-Judges — Judicial Corruption: A Moral, Social, and Political Rot - Republic Policy

Judicial corruption and inconsistent sentencing are under scrutiny in the UK.

It is becoming apparent that the British legal system is serving its own interests and those of the state rather than delivering justice for the public, as the biblical standard demands.

In the Bible, justice is about putting things right, but recent cases suggest that British courts are more focused on defending their own patch rather than protecting the rights and safety of citizens.

Turning a blind a eye

A glaring example of of the two-tier system disparity is seen in the way certain crimes, such as burglary and shoplifting, are handled. Despite the emotional and financial toll these offences take on victims, the government make reassuring noises but the police stand accused of turning a blind eye to them.

Policies have emerged suggesting that unless the value of what’s stolen is deemed significant, pursuing these cases is considered a waste of police time. The police are also reluctant to chase after perpetrators who could be dangerous.

This approach has left many feeling vulnerable. Criminals face minimal consequences, and communities are left without the assurance that justice will be served.

The leniency in these cases stands in contrast to harsher sentences handed down for less direct threats to public safety.

Sentences for ‘rioters’

Following the murders of three little girls in Southport on 29th July 2024, demonstrations took place across England in the following month. It would appear that stories circulated on social media claiming the suspect was an illegal migrant. He wasn’t. He was of Rwandan descent and was born in Cardiff.

Some of the protests turned violent, with items thrown at the police. However, during one incident in Whitehall, it appears that angry protestors merely confronted the police with shoving and verbal abuse.

The case of one of them, David Spring, 61, of Sutton in South London, stands out. Mr Spring’s role in the disorder was shown on police body worn camera footage in court. He was seen making threatening and hostile gestures towards police, calling officers “c****” and joining in chants of “you’re not English anymore” and “who the f*** is Allah”.

The local paper reported that Judge Kelleher said a custodial sentence was appropriate ‘in order to deter others from engaging in similar behaviour’. David Spring was advised by barrister Piers Kiss-Wilson to plead guilty to violent disorder. He was sentenced to 18 months.

There was no report that we have seen associating Mr Spring with actual violence. In essence, he received 18 months for calling policemen part of the female anatomy, questioning their patriotism and asking, in robust language, what jurisdiction has the god of the Muslims over this United Kingdom.

State protecting its dignity

Burglaries, shoplifting, knife crime, affect ordinary people. What the August protestors did was challenge the immigration policy of the State. So it appears we now have a legal system more interested in maintaining its own standing with expedited procedural efficiency than in administering justice for the people.

This inconsistency raises questions about the integrity of the judicial system and whether it is meeting its fundamental biblical role: to right wrongs and protect the public. Without a commitment to equitable justice, the trust in our institutions of law and order will continue to erode. Two-tier policing, two-tier justice and two-tier politics are stoking up resentment. The system is no longer serving those it is meant to protect.

The Bible says,
Leviticus 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

The rise of shoplifting

The number of shoplifting offences recorded by police in England and Wales has risen to a new 20-year high. A total of 443,995 offences were logged by forces in the year to March 2024, up 30% on the 342,428 recorded in the previous 12 months.

The figure is the highest since current records began in the year to March 2003, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Meanwhile, one of the UK’s largest grocery chains has told a parliamentary inquiry that organised criminals are behind the recent rise in shoplifting and violence against shop workers rather than people stealing to survive,

Paul Gerrard, the public affairs director at the Co-op, told the House of Lords justice and home affairs committee into shoplifting that a 44% rise in retail crime it experienced last year was mostly down to gangs stealing to order at scale – clearing shelves in some cases.

The Bible says,

Huw Edwards

The case of Huw Edwards, coming at this time, also appeared to illustrate inconsistencies in the UK’s justice system.

Mr. Edwards, a former BBC presenter, was convicted of possessing 41 indecent images, including the most serious category, yet he received a suspended sentence, allowing him to avoid prison.

Nevertheless, legal commentators pointed to mitigating factors like his mental health and early guilty plea as well as the exact circumstances and the legal definitions as reasons for the apparent lenient outcome. It is worth reading the judge’s sentencing remarks (and the discussion between John and Stephen in the comments below).

However, it remains that others have received much harsher penalties for far less serious offences. For example, Julie Sweeney from Cheshire was sentenced to 15 months in prison for making an offensive online comment.

This disparity again raises important questions about the justice system’s priorities, where serious offenses, and not just that of Mr Edwards, are met with leniency, while lesser actions lead to significant punishment.

Zephaniah 3:5 The just Lord is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

Domestic abusers released from prison

Violent domestic abusers were among the offenders released from prison in Augusr after serving just forty per cent of their sentences, in a bid to free up prison spaces for protestors.

In an interview with LBC, former Justice Secretary, Alex Chalk accused ministers of not being ‘frank with the British people’ about what releasing people early from prison would mean.

Mr. Chalk stated that a man who committed common assault by ‘thumping’ his partner, or causing actual or grievous bodily harm, would be eligible for release under the scheme unless he had been sentenced to four years or more in prison.

He also warned that plans to release prisoners up to 20 per cent of the way through their sentences would be a ‘mockery of justice’ and ‘affront to rule of law.’

This applies to offenders who are under an electronic tagging scheme that allows them to spend up to six months under curfew in their homes that they would otherwise have spent in jail.

They are currently entitled to be released on tags as little as 25 per cent of the way through their sentences but, because of the early release scheme due to start on Sept 10, it has been recalculated down to 20 per cent.

Release of Steven Ling

Among prisoners freed was Steven Ling, a convicted murderer.

Ling, now 49, was granted parole in July and has been released after serving 26 years of a life sentence. He was convicted in 1998 for the brutal Christmas Day murder of 29-year-old Joanne Tulip in 1997. Ling violated and stabbed Miss Tulip 60 times, in what the presiding judge described as a horrific act of violence. During his sentencing, the judge declared that Ling would remain in prison for as long as he posed a danger to women.

Despite these warnings, Ling is now a free man. His release, at a time when prison spaces are being prioritised for those involved in recent protests or social media controversies, has sparked outrage. We argue here that Steven Ling should have faced the death penalty:

The justice system’s priorities have shifted away from protecting the public, focusing instead on individuals whose offences lie more in speech than in violent crimes.

The release of such a one as Steven Ling underscores growing concerns about whether the safety of citizens is being compromised by a government intent on managing overcrowded prisons and responding to current political trends. Albeit that justice was never done for Joanne Tulip.

The Bible says,
Gen 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Police persecute ex-Muslim

The state is also keen to protect its ideas and ideology, not least that of multi-culturalism. That helps explain what Tim Dieppe has described as the Metropolitan Police’s ‘outrageous persecution’ of Hatun Tash.

The ex-Muslim turned Christian preacher has been repeatedly arrested at the behest of her Muslim tormentors. She carries a Koran with holes in it, to illustrate its shaky provenance. Yet when Muslim activists at Speakers’ Corner stole it from her, the Police arrested her, not them.

With the assistance of the Christian Legal Centre, Hatun Tash has now been awarded not just one, but two payouts of £10,000 from the Met for unlawful arrest at Speakers’ Corner.

More serious crimes

The recent arrest of a man in Greater Manchester highlights the increasing neglect of public safety.

A viral video shows a Muslim couple being chased by a man wielding a hedge trimmer after an altercation at a petrol station.

The footage captures the man retrieving the tool from his vehicle and charging toward the couple’s car as they quickly fled.

This incident, while shocking, underscores the troubling trend where serious threats to citizens’ safety are deprioritised, as the system diverts its focus to less critical offences. Such cases reflect how the balance between protecting the public and catering to political or social agendas is becoming increasingly skewed.

Muslim given suspended sentence for assault

In Bradford, a Muslim man berated three Muslim women, whom he knew, at a petrol station for not wearing Islamic dress and for wearing make-up. He then violently attacked them, a court heard.

The local paper reported that Muhammad Hassan, 26, grabbed the driver and slammed her head on to the dashboard of her vehicle. He then grabbed the second woman’s hair and punched her in the head before hitting the third woman.

Judge Colin Burn said: “Whatever the motivation was for this, it’s still utterly inadequate to justify the violence that you perpetrated against [the victims] when they were sitting in a car effectively cowering from you.

“The three people on the receiving end of your violence were women who were in a vulnerable situation. This was an extremely abusive, controlling and violent incident.”

Given such a summing up, we should expect a custodial sentence. But no. Hassan, from Bradford, was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for two years. Compare that leniency to the sentences given to the Southport protestors.

Where is the duty of care?

As prisons in England and Wales near maximum capacity, the early release of inmates by Labour ‘to address the shortage of space’ is sparking concerns about the government’s duty of care.

There are concerns that without adequate measures to vet who is being released, the plan risks allowing violent offenders back into society prematurely. Questions are being raised about whether sufficient safeguards are in place to prevent potential harm, or if the focus is more on managing prison numbers than ensuring community safety.

Even more, there fear growing concerns that the Labour government may be prioritising freeing criminals over maintaining stringent protections, leading to heightened anxiety over public security.

This follows a stark warning from Charlie Taylor, the Chief Inspector of Prisons, who warned the ‘high risk of harm’ posed by the early release of violent criminals

He told the Telegraph that there was a danger former criminals may be let out to offend again.

‘The biggest risk would be a released offender slipping through the cracks” and going on to commit a serious crime because of rushed work.’

Tory Leadership: Do any of the candidates do God?

As the race for Tory leadership intensifies, a critical question remains largely unasked: Do any of the front runners truly understand or embody the spiritual and moral values that underpin leadership?

Robert Jenrick, Kemi Badenoch, Tom Tugendhat and James Cleverly may well present slightly different political visions, but where do they stand when it comes to matters of faith, morality, and doing what is right in the eyes of God?

The final two candidates will be presented to party members for the decisive vote. Among the rank and file, Kemi Badenoch is reportedly the favourite. However, according to The Telegraph, the public holds a slight preference for James Cleverly.

The Bible standard is that leaders should be:
Exod 18:21 … able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness.

So where do the Tory Candidates stand on today’s great moral issues? Do any of them even recognise a spiritual dimension to politics?

This isn’t about whether Robert Jenrick, Kemi Badenoch, James Cleverly, Tom Tugendhat, Mel Stride or Dame Priti Patel claim to be Christian, or go to church.

It’s about whether or not they have a God-fearing, Christian world-view. In other words, are they humble enough to recognise that’s Christ Jesus, as King and Lord of this United Kingdom?

The Bible says,
1Tim 6:15b the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords

Do they give a thought to our Christian Constitution as expressed in His Majesty’s Coronation in May 2023? Do they regard the Almighty Creator and sovereign of the universe as our judge and lawgiver, the king, as the prophet says, who alone can save us, or do they think politicians can make it all up on their own?

Recording voting patterns

Christian Voice has been tracking voting patterns since 1988. Remarkably, 21 MPs who served during the Margaret Thatcher era remain in the House of Commons today.

The voting record shows that Robert Jenrick, the current front-runner, has demonstrated little regard for protecting human life. Among the six candidates, he was the only one to vote in favour of decriminalising abortion, supporting DIY abortion pills, and endorsing buffer zones around abortion facilities, which effectively criminalise pro-life activities, including prayer.

Moreover, none of his rivals took a stand against abortion on demand.

The prophet Jeremiah asked:
Lamentations 1:12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the Lord hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.

Did any support prayer in Buffer Zones?

Kemi Badenoch was the only candidate to vote against DIY abortion, and only she and Mel Stride opposed the implementation of buffer zones around abortion centers. None of the candidates supported the freedom to pray outside these facilities—not a single one.

Moreover, none of them voted against the UK government’s imposition of same-sex marriage and abortion laws on Northern Ireland. In fact, Tom Tugendhat actually voted in favor of both measures.

When Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) was debated in 2019, all of the candidates voted to promote teachings on sodomy and transgender ideology, except for Robert Jenrick and Dame Priti Patel, who abstained rather than voting against it.

It’s worth noting that Dame Priti Patel, who became the first candidate eliminated by MPs during the voting rounds, was also the only one to sign MP Miriam Cates’s letter to then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in March 2023, expressing concerns about RSE.

She was also the only one to oppose the absurdity of the Net Zero Vehicle Mandate, forcing motor manufacturers to sell a set quota of those electric cars hardly any consumer actually wants, in December last year.

Truth versus absurdity

In the realm of truth versus absurdity, Kemi Badenoch, as Business Secretary, went so far as to claim that shutting down the Port Talbot steelworks was a positive move, rather than recognising it as a disastrous act of economic suicide and a blow to working men.

You may have noticed I haven’t mentioned James Cleverly—well, that’s because, aside from voting for immoral RSE, he has yet to take a definitive stand on anything. So, where do the candidates stand?

Robert Jenrick is staunchly pro-abortion. Tom Tugendhat is both pro-gay and pro-net zero, inviting divine judgement while delivering it in one stroke.

Kemi Badenoch is somewhat pro-life but supports RSE. Mel Stride leans slightly pro-life but is committed to net zero policies. Of the five (now four) who are left, Robert Jenrick is pro-abortion.

The prophet wrote:
Isaiah 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood

The Bible, as you will remember, shows revival depends on the Lord raising up a God-fearing leader, someone like King Josiah.

The UK parliament

In the UK Parliament, neither Sir Keir Starmer nor Sir Ed Davey fits the bill. And despite his charisma and political savvy, Nigel Farage hasn’t yet shown the necessary depth either.

Unless one of them makes a bold and dramatic shift, it seems that none of the current Tory Party leadership contenders grasp the spiritual dimension of the challenges we face.

As the psalmist observed:
Psalm 75:7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

We must also seek the Lord’s guidance, just as King Jehoshaphat did (2Chron 20:12), to understand what action we should take. Perhaps the Lord is calling you to get involved with a rising party and become a prophetic voice within it.

Irish teacher jailed for a third time for refusing to ‘call a boy a girl’

Irish schoolteacher Enoch Burke has been sent to prison for the third time following his arrest outside the school that sacked him for refusing to ‘call a boy a girl’.

On 2nd September 2024, Mr Burke was placed inside a Garda vehicle outside Wilson’s Hospital School in Ireland’s Co Westmeath and driven to the Four Courts in Dublin, according to the Irish Independent.

The judge made the decision after Mr. Burke repeatedly refused to give a direct answer when asked if he would continue to ignore an order from Mr. Justice Alexander Owens, which prohibits him from attending the school.

Mr. Justice Quinn stated that he was ‘satisfied’ Mr. Burke was in contempt of court and noted that his presence at the school was ‘disruptive to the staff’s ability to provide orderly education to pupils’. He ordered that Mr. Burke be detained at Mountjoy Prison until he ‘purges his contempt’.

The case will be listed again on 11th October 2024 but the judge said Mr Burke could ‘purge his contempt’ before then.

‘You will answer to God’

Following the ruling, Mr Burke told the judge: ‘You will answer to God for imprisoning me for my religious beliefs.’

‘This court is simply denying me my religious beliefs, and my right to my religious beliefs. I am a Christian. I have Christian beliefs. My belief is male and female, God made them male and female.’

During the hearing, Mr. Burke and his family argued that the numerous judges who have handled the case had failed to address a report made by the school’s then-principal, Niamh McShane, which prompted to the schoolteacher’s suspension in August 2022.

Legality ‘never considered’

They said: ‘You can lie like your colleagues have over the past two years. The truth can be trampled into the ground but it will rise again.’

Mr Burke said Ms McShane had claimed he was guilty of gross misconduct due to his refusal to call a ‘transitioning student’ by a new name and the pronoun ‘they’. He said the legality of that demand was never considered by the court.

However, last year, Judge Owens found the school was right to suspend Mr Burke over fears of ‘harmful and disruptive conduct’

Persecuted yet firm in truth

In June 2024, an Irish High Court judge ordered the release of Enoch Burke from Mountjoy Prison.

Mr Justice Mark Sanfey directed that Mr Burke be freed from the Dublin prison, where he has been incarcerated since last September for his refusal to stay away from Wilson’s Hospital School in County Westmeath.

The judge said that following a review of the situation, ‘the fact examinations are now completed and the school is on holidays, and thereby directing Mr. Burke’s release.’

‘The court did not require Mr Burke to purge his contempt with an agreement to comply with the terms of an order made against him last year,’ the judge said.

Suspended for opposing ‘trans rights’

In May 2023, the High Court upheld Wilson’s Hospital School’s decision to suspend Enoch Burke in August 2022. The school sought the court’s affirmation that it was justified in placing Mr. Burke on paid leave pending the outcome of a disciplinary process.

Mr. Burke had contested the suspension, arguing that it was unlawful and driven by his opposition to the extension of ‘transgender rights’, which arose after the school directed him to address a former student by a different pronoun.

Additionally, the school had secured a High Court injunction requiring Mr. Burke to stay away from the premises during his suspension.

‘Exploiting imprisonment for personal gains?’

In a December 2023 ruling, Judge Brian O’Moore suggested that the “only plausible interpretation” of Mr Burke’s actions was that he was “exploiting his imprisonment for personal gain” and seeking fame; otherwise, he would have “taken the opportunity to end it” by simply complying.

However, this may be the “only plausible interpretation” from the perspective of a judge in the now heavily secularised Ireland, where the notion that a man might be acting out of genuine religious conviction is seen as absurd and unthinkable.

Meanwhile, inmates at Mountjoy Prison reportedly expressed their support for their new inmate, him, saying that he “should not be in here” and encouraging him to “keep [his] head up,” even leaving small gifts like popcorn and biscuits at his cell door.

This has been pointed out to highlight the view that, in Ireland, the moral compass of criminals now seems more aligned with the Almighty than that of judges.

Are Christian teachers the target?

The recent arrest, suspension, and termination of employment of Christian teachers seem increasingly like efforts to force educators to conform to ‘trans’ ideologies.

Joshua Sutcliffe, for example, was banned from teaching by the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) In July 2024 for stating that ‘a boy cannot be a girl’ and ‘homosexuality is a sin.’ Their ruling was upheld in court by one Justice Pepperall. (See our related story here.)

Also, In July 2023, a Christian councillor, King Lawal was suspended for tweeting that pride is not a virtue but a sin.

Meanwhile, another Christian teacher identified as Glawdys Leger was sacked after refusing to promote extreme ‘LGBT’ ideology, and for expressing her biblical beliefs on human sexuality in response to student questions.

In July 2023, a Christian social worker had a £25,000-a-year job offer revoked after his employer discovered his previous legal victory affirming his freedom of speech. Felix Ngole faced expulsion from a social worker training course at Sheffield University after sharing a Facebook post that referenced Bible passages on the topic of same-sex marriage.

Similarly, in 2019, Dr. Bernard Randall received a 5-year ban from his ministry for preaching traditional Christian views to students at Trent College, a private school in Derbyshire, where he was the chaplain.

He delivered a sermon titled ‘Competing Ideologies,’ where he reassured young people that they were ‘not obliged to accept someone else’s ideology.’ In his speech, grounded in Biblical principles, he encouraged students to be open to diverse viewpoints, whether on religion, Brexit, or ‘LGBT’ issues. Meanwhile, Irish state or schools could alleviate the situation by declaring God’s truth that a boy cannot be a girl.

Puberty blocker ban extended to Northern Ireland

A temporary ban on the sale and supply of puberty blockers has been extended to include Northern Ireland.

Puberty blockers, which ‘suppress hormone release’, are often prescribed to children questioning their gender.

According the BBC, the emergency legislation, brought in by the last Government protects under-18s from obtaining the drugs via private prescriptions from the UK or Europe, and was set to expire on 3 September for England, Wales and Scotland. But the ban has now been extended until 26 November for all of the UK.

In May, the Conservative government introduced stricter rules, implementing an emergency ban on these drugs from private and European prescribers.

‘Hard deadline to meet’

Mike Nesbitt, former broadcaster. and Ulster Unionists’ leader.

Northern Ireland’s Ulster Unionists’ leader, Mike Nesbitt told the BBC’s Talkback programme that he had a “hard deadline” to meet which had “implications” for the entire UK.

Mr Nesbitt agreed the matter of puberty blockers “would be a valid point” to put on the agenda for the next meeting of the Northern Ireland Executive.

The minister added that he had shared a paper outlining the rationale for the decision, but he would not be drawn on whether any executive colleagues responded to this.

Wales and puberty blockers?

Puberty suppressing hormones is not be available for children and young people in Wales.

In March 2023, Andrew R.T. Davies, Leader of the Welsh Conservative Group in the Senedd said: ‘The NHS England has carefully considered the evidence review conducted by NICE and further published evidence available to date and concluded that there is not enough evidence to support the safety or clinical effectiveness of puberty suppressing hormones to make the treatment routinely available at this time.

‘Therefore, puberty suppressing hormones will not be available as a routine commissioning treatment option for children and young people in Wales who are referred via our gender identity services pathway.

‘However, NHS England aims to have a study into the use of puberty blockers in place by December 2024.

‘Welsh children and young people referred into the service will also be eligible to participate in the study.

‘This change will not affect young people from Wales who are already receiving puberty “suppressing hormones” from the NHS’.

Get off the fence!

The issue of puberty blockers and gender-affirming surgeries, whether for young people or adults, shouldn’t even be a debate.

These are life-altering decisions, and there have been cases of regret and even deaths following such procedures.

It’s concerning that the government seems more focused on staying ‘woke’ than on upholding natural, biological truths and by enforcing policies that go against the traditional understanding of gender, straying from Gods original plan laid out for humanity.

It’s time for the government to stop sitting on the fence and take a clear stance on this critical topic.

The Review

The move to ban puberty blockers came after a report into children’s gender services – the Cass Review – said there were “gaps in evidence” around the drugs.

The review was led by leading paediatrician Dr Hilary Cass and prompted the last government to ban the use of puberty blockers for under-18s questioning their gender – a move which was then supported by Labour when they won the election.

Westminster has now extended that temporary legislation, external, which previously did not include Northern Ireland.

Meanwhile, “trans” support group Mermaids said it is “very disappointed” by the decision to extend the ban to Northern Ireland as it “sets a worrying precedent”.

Doctors quit BMA over Cass rejection

Doctors are quitting the British Medical Association (BMA) in anger over its rejection of the Cass review, calling the recommendation ‘bonkers.’

According to the Times, hundreds of members, including NHS leaders and former presidents of medical royal colleges, have expressed ‘dismay’ at union leaders for opposing the review’s recommendations on gender identity services for children. They allege the union is being controlled by a ‘vocal minority’.

In April, a report by Dr. Hilary Cass found that children had been ‘let down’ due to a lack of reliable evidence on the safety of transitioning for young people.

While the findings has been grudgingly accepted amongst among our leaders, the ‘trans’ lobby within the BMA are ferociously defending their pitch. Ideology and jobs are at risk. The BMA has been captured by them and will now form a group to ‘publicly critique’ the review, arguing that it used flawed methods and made unsupported recommendations. (It didn’t.)

‘Secretive and opaque’

The BMA council, made up of 69 members, voted to reject the Cass review, making it formal policy. Critics called the vote ‘secretive and opaque.’

Over 1,400 doctors, including 900 BMA members, signed an open letter urging the union to accept the review’s findings, accusing its leaders of ignoring evidence-based medicine and ethical practice. The letter was signed by nearly 70 professors and 23 former or current presidents of medical royal colleges.

According to comments reported by The Times, many doctors have cancelled their membership in protest of the union’s stance on the review.

Treat with ‘compassion and respect’

A spokesman for the Cass review said: ‘The systematic reviews undertaken by the University of York, which underpin the review’s findings, are the largest and most comprehensive to date.

‘They looked at 237 papers from 18 countries, providing information on a total of 113,269 children and adolescents.

‘All of the University of York’s systematic review research papers were subject to peer review, a cornerstone of academic rigour and integrity to ensure that the methods, findings, and interpretation of the findings met the highest standards of quality, validity and impartiality.

‘As stated in the final report, while open and constructive debate is needed about the findings of the review and its recommendations, everybody should remember the children and young people trying to live their lives and the families/carers and clinicians doing their best to support them.

‘All should be treated with compassion and respect.’

Australia abolishes womanhood

It’s not just the UK living in the Days of Lot.

An Australian judge has issued a ruling that effectively removes the legal distinction of sex, siding with a man who was barred from using a women-only app, the Australian Broadcasting Cooperation reports.

Justice Robert Bromwich declared that, under Australian law, sex is ‘fluid and not necessarily binary.’

The case, Tickle vs Giggle, began when Mr. Tickle—a disgruntled man who now goes by the name ‘Roxanne’ took offence at some social media posts.

Mr. Tickle has made significant efforts to ‘pass’ as female, undergoing ‘gender-affirmation surgery’ in 2019 and altering his birth certificate to obscure his male origins. Despite these changes, his biological sex remains male, though ‘legally’ he is recognised in Australian law as a woman. Watch our video:

Screened out of women only app

The tweets that enraged Mr. Tickle were posted by Sall Grover, the founder of Giggle for Girls, a women-only social media app.

Giggle, a small tech start-up, used facial-recognition software to filter out men. Tickle decided to challenge this and was initially granted access to the app. However, after seven months, his photo was flagged, either by Grover herself or the app’s screening system and his access was restricted.

Mr. Tickle not only threw tantrums but bombarded Ms Grover with emails and phone calls. When that didn’t get him reinstated, he took her to court.

Mr. Tickle argued that he had the right to use Giggle because, on paper, he is legally recognised as a woman. The judge sided with him, stating that ‘the imposed condition of needing to appear to be a “cisgendered” female in photos submitted to the Giggle app had the effect of disadvantaging transgender women who did not meet that condition.’

Legally female or really female?

On 23rd August 2024, Federal Court Justice Robert Bromwich stated: ‘the respondents had defined sex as the unchangeable sex assigned at birth.’

Although Justice Bromwich found Mr Tickle wasn’t subjected to direct discrimination, he upheld the claim of indirect discrimination because the Giggle for Girls app required the bloke to appear as a woman to use it.

In reading the ruling, it’s evident that Justice Bromwich recognises that men cannot become women, but he deemed biology irrelevant to the case.

Instead, he adhered to an administrative interpretation of sex and gender, stating that ‘Mr. Tickle is a legal female, as reflected in his updated birth certificate issued under Queensland law.’

Justice Bromwich ordered the app to pay him £5,100 in addition to costs.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tickle’s counsel, Georgina Costello KC argued that sex and gender are not binary and involve psychological and social dimensions, not just biological ones. On the other hand, Ms Grover’s lawyer, Bridie Nolan argued that sex is biological and gender was a social construct, disputing that Mr Tickle had the ‘psychology of a woman’.

Global implications of the ruling

The case, Tickle vs. Giggle, has established a troubling legal precedent with far-reaching implications. By prioritising an administrative definition of gender over biological realities, the ruling goes against Biblical laws, and challenges long-standing social norms.

Justice Bromwich’s decision could influence future cases worldwide, potentially eroding protections based on biological sex.

The Lord Jesus himself said:
John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

(The ‘appearance’ here being Mr Tickle’s gender recognition certificate, not his face!)

What is the connection between the case of a patron of a pro-sodomy charity being charged with child sex abuse, a maths teacher banned from teaching for calling children their God-given sex and a Church of England bishop declaring a Bible-believing school chaplain is a ‘risk to children’?

‘Educate & Celebrate’

One Stephen Ireland was a patron of Educate and Celebrate, set up by lesbian Elly Barnes to go in to schools (which hired her to do this), indoctrinate children to question whether they were really boys and girls and, as she put it, smash hetero-normativity, also known as Bible truth, along the way.

Elly Barnes, pronouns ‘they’ and ‘their’, was awarded an MBE in 2016 for services to education, equality and diversity.

Mr Ireland was also the founder of Gay Pride in Surrey.

Meanwhile, the papers report the 40-year-old is facing a total of thirty-seven charges, including the rape of a child under 13, six counts of making indecent photographs of children and two counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

He has been charged alongside David Sutton, 26, a former volunteer for Gay Pride. They will appear at Guildford Crown Court on 12th September twenty-twenty-four and I must stress they are innocent until proven guilty.

Joshua Sutcliffe

Joshua Sutcliffe was fired from Cherwell School, Oxford, for refusing to use a pupil’s preferred pronouns, in other words, for not going along with the child’s delusions.

Last year, the Teaching Regulation Agency barred Mr Sutcliffe from teaching, for that invented offence and for observing that same-sex marriage is wrong in the sight of God. They decided that failed to safeguard pupils’ wellbeing. But the Bible tells us firmly that children’s wellbeing is served by teaching them the ways of God.

The people of Israel were to:
Deut 6:7 … teach them (God’s laws) diligently unto thy children,

While the psalmist calls out:
Psalm 34:11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

That’s from the same Bible our head of state, King Charles, kissed at his coronation in May twenty-twenty-three.

Children down ‘trans’ pathway

Sending children down the trans pathway is at best highly contentious, with Dr Hilary Cass reporting there is no evidence that affirming children in gender delusions is of any benefit to them at all.
Of course it isn’t. God has made us male and female.

The Lord Jesus said:
Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female..7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

Anything else is a lie.

Yet when Joshua Sutcliffe took his case to the High Court, we had Mr Justice Pepperall acting for all the world like a pro-gay and pro-trans activist, ignoring Dr Cass and upholding the Regulation Agency’s absurdities.

Dr Bernard Randall

Lastly, Dr Bernard Randall was chaplain at Trent College in Derbyshire. He told students in a closely-argued sermon that they could question teaching on ‘LGBT’ relationships. He observed that marriage according to the church and the Bible is between a man and a woman.

Incredibly, this was in response to the school paying the afore-mentioned Educate and Celebrate to come into the school and corrupt the children.

Dr Randall was sacked and reported to Prevent, the terrorism watchdog. Then astonishingly, the Church of England Bishop of Derby, Libby Lane, their first woman bishop, ruled that Dr Randall, not Educate and Celebrate, was a risk to children. She denied him a license to officiate as a CofE priest.

Archbishop Welby has refused to allow Dr Randall to bring a misconduct case against Bishop Libby.

What is the connection?

So what links all these stories together? And what I’ve shared is only the tip of the iceberg.

We could speak of Felix Ngole , King Lawal, Gladwys Leger, Kristie Higgs, Aaron Edwards,, Victoria Culf or the Darlington nurses . The same spirit is at work in all these cases.

The Establishment is promoting wickedness, just as their forebears did in Sodom and Gomorrah.

Sodomy paraded on the streets. Gay activists in schools. Children taught evil, even medically castrated and mutilated. High Court judges, bishops of the established church, acting as pro-sodomy and pro-trans activists. Proponents of evil honoured by the late Queen. Dissenting prophetic voices silenced and condemned, denounced as judgemental.

Childhood is not a mental illness

Childhood and mental health crises among children and young people in the UK are reaching alarming levels, a new study shows.

In a report, the Resolution Foundation thinktank points out that the number of children whose families receive disability living allowance (DLA) has more than doubled in the last decade, to 682,000.

The biggest shift has come among teenagers, with 8% of all 15-year-olds receiving DLA last year, up from 5% in 2013.

The research finds that only adults aged 52 and older now have a higher proportion of individuals claiming disability benefits compared to 15- and 16-year-olds.

Author’s response

Louise Murphy, the author of the report and a senior economist at the Resolution Foundation, said: ‘The rising prevalence of disability across Britain is driving up the number of children awarded disability benefits, and that increase is most stark among older children.’

The report suggests part of the shift may reflect the rapid increase in parents applying for extra support with their children’s special educational needs in the classroom.

‘It is plausible that some of this pressure is showing up in child disability benefit claims, with families being more likely to apply for child DLA after receiving a diagnosis or description of their child’s additional needs,” it said.

However, Ms. Murphy warned of a sharp drop-off once claimants reached adulthood, with 25% of those in receipt of DLA not going on to receive the personal independence payment (Pip), which adults with disabilities can apply for.

‘There may be positive reasons for no longer claiming support, but it is a huge worry if young people are leaving the benefits system and missing out on support at the arbitrary cut-off point of age 16, rather than when their condition changes,’ Ms. Murphy said.

The root cause

Trying to determine a specific cause for the mental-health crisis among young people, whether it’s the pandemic or the rise of smartphones and social media, misses the bigger picture. The main issue isn’t tied to one event or technological change.

Instead, it’s because adults such as parents, teachers, and policymakers—are more often interpreting behaviours and experiences through a psychological lens.

This shift in perspective is contributing to the growing number of mental-health problems among youth.

labelling children’s behaviour

Over the past few years, labelling and categorising children’s behaviour has significantly impacted them.

Children who are simply confused or insecure are often diagnosed with depression or trauma. The one who has lost a parent or guardian is not considered to be mourning, rather depressed.

Lively or disruptive children might be labelled as having ADHD. Those who express concerns about current events may be seen as clinically anxious.

The rising number of young people claiming ‘disability’ is largely due to the growing trend of labelling and managing children’s behaviour and emotions through a therapeutic lens.

This tendency to treat their experiences as psychiatric issues is contributing to the so-called ‘youth mental-health crisis,’ and it’s causing significant harm to these young individuals.

The Bible says,
Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Let children be

Children are no longer allowed to feel a moment of sadness without having a tag put to their emotions.

When a child is told that his energetic or disruptive behaviour is due to a mental-health disorder, it essentially means that there’s something inherently wrong with him/her.

It shifts the issue from being a matter of self-discipline to a medical condition that needs to be managed with therapy or medication.

1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

This mindset can lead young people to display their mental-health diagnoses on social media as a core part of their identity, sometimes even viewing it as a justification for a disability claim.

The Bible says,
1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Normal childhood behaviour

Normal childhood behaviour such as being boisterous, not being able to sit still, argumentative or disruptive, have been redefined as ‘mental disorders’ and given psychiatric labels.

The names of these so-called disorders include, but are not limited to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Conduct Disorder (CD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).

The disorders are listed in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD), mental disorders section, published by the World Health Organisation, and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

The Bible says,
1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

‘Why children’s mood and emotion varies’

Dr. Doris Rapp, Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the State University of New York found that physical factors could lead to a child’s misbehaviour.

‘Over-activity, fatigue, bed-wetting, inappropriate behaviour, and even epilepsy, in some children, may be due to allergies. Allergic infants can be so hyperactive that they rock their cribs about the room or bounce them off the walls and begin to walk earlier than normal.’

‘Food intolerances and sensitivities to chemicals in things such as washing powder, shampoo and plastics can create “symptoms”.’

Environmental factors

The following list gives some of the common environmental factors and underlying physical conditions that can create symptoms of ‘childhood disorders’:’Too much sugar. modern-day fast food due to its lack of nutritional value, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, food colourings and preservatives, hyperthyroidism, allergies (e.g. gluten), temporal lobe seizures and pesticides.

Patron of gender identity group charged with child sex abuse

The founder of Pride in Surrey, a defunct ‘LGBT charity’ which encouraged children to question the gender binary, has been charged with multiple counts of child sex abuse.

The Daily Telegraph reports that 40-year-old Stephen Ireland, who is also the founder of gay pride in Surrey, is facing a total of 37 charges, including rape of a child under 13, six counts of making indecent photographs of children and two counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

For 15 of the alleged offences, the founder of Pride in Surrey was jointly charged alongside David Sutton, 26.

Mr. Ireland was listed as a director for Pride in Surrey until June of this year, while Sutton was a former volunteer for the charity.

Mr. Sutton, who, like Mr. Ireland is from Addlestone, Surrey, was also charged with a further seven offences, including three counts of making indecent photographs of children.

They were both remanded in custody to appear at Guildford Crown Court on 12th September 2024.However, both defendants are innocent till proven guilty.

Schools allowed this?

Primary and secondary schools across the UK have allowed different people with ridiculous ideologies to either teach or run programmes to further confuse children about gender.

This news raises serious concerns about how organisations like Educate and Celebrate, which had access to young children across the country were allowed to operate, while Rev. Dr. Bernard Randall, a Christian chaplain, was reported to counter-terrorism and dismissed for voicing concerns about the group.

The charges against Mr. Ireland follow revelations that Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, was “plainly wrong” to support the decision of the Bishop of Derby, Rt. Rev Libby Lane, in blacklisting Dr. Randall as a risk to children.

In the meantime, Dr. Randall’s career and other Christian professionals who dared to speak against sodomy have been severely damaged, while Educate and Celebrate has been mired in controversy, leading to the group’s quiet dissolution in January after an understated announcement from the Charity Commission.

‘Thousands of schools’ sign up for ‘diversity award’

Thousands of nurseries, primary, secondary schools, colleges and businesses have signed up to ‘pride in equity, diversity and inclusion award’, according to C&E.

According to their website, ‘Online whole staff training will cost £400. A day’s Pride workshop for children will cost £500. Everyone attending Educate & Celebrate training, school staff and children, will be taught about ‘gender identity’ a belief that has no proof and can only be explained by resorting to gender stereotypes.

‘The programme costs £1,800 and includes training for all staff and an action plan on how to receive a gold, silver or bronze award at the end of the 12 months.’

Schools such as Cockton Hill Junior School, Cockfield Primary School, Timothy Hackworth school, Esh Winning Primary School, Copeland Road Primary School, Chatswoth Infant School and a host of others are recipient of the ‘diversity’ award.

Taxpayers funds spent to confuse children

In 2015, Educate and Celebrate received a £214,000 grant from the Department of Education to roll out their program nationwide.

In a promotional video, which was later deleted after Dr. Randall’s story gained media attention, Dr. Elly Barnes, the chief executive of the Educate & Celebrate charity, described E&C’s approach in schools, stating:’The whole concept of Educate and Celebrate is to treat everyone equally and fairly, and really the bottom line is to completely smash heteronormativity. That’s what we want to do, so that kids can grow up and be who they are. We are all more productive and so much happier when we can be ourselves.

‘So we completely encourage intersectional ways of teaching, lots of pedagogies and usualising, so making LGBT+ people an everyday occurrence within the school. And that can come through simply teachers being ‘out’, it can come through the curriculum, it can come through what you are putting on the walls, and how you are engaging with your community, and that’s our goal.’

Further, it has since been revealed that Dr. Barnes told teachers that they should be moving toward a ‘gender-free model’ in a 90-minute lecture organised by the National Education Union (NEU).

She said it was permissible not to tell parents if a pupil declares themselves to be transgender, and also said that terms such as “boys’, “girls”, “son” and “mother” should be replaced with the gender-neutral words, such as “pupils”, ‘students’, “child” and “parent”.

Dr Barnes also told the webinar, called Getting the Language Right for 2022, that instead of gendered terms, staff should be referred to as “teacher” or “headteacher” followed by their surname.

The Bible says,

Schools paying to indoctrinate children

Schools who sign up for the Celebrate and Educate award pay to be recognised for indoctrinating children.

According to reports: ‘Schools will have to run it past the school’s finance secretary. Membership costs £50, access to their PRIDE Youth Network costs £200. For £1,750 your school could join the PRIDE in Inclusion Award Programme which will buy, among other things, online and face-to-face support for a year, two continuing professional development (CPD) days, a staff meeting organised by an Educate & Celebrate trainer, a book collection, poster and other merchandise.

‘Or schools could buy in just the CPD training, the price is negotiable, where staff will ‘develop a deeper understanding of sexual orientation, gender and gender identity, why it is necessary to include these protected characteristics in our curriculum’.

Lies and cover ups

For years, E&C has been featured on multiple primary school websites as an Ofsted-recognised ‘best practice’ programme. However, in 2023, it was revealed that this was a lie. The school inspectorate ordered E&C to remove any reference to Ofsted from its website.

Following a series of controversies from encouraging three-year-olds to question their gender to pushing to replace ‘Sir’ and ‘Miss’ with gender-neutral terms – the charity shut down.

Meanwhile, E&C has also been removed from the UK Government page.

Archbishop of Canterbury ‘plainly wrong’ for blacklisting gender-critical chaplain

The Archbishop of Canterbury was ‘plainly wrong’ in dismissing concerns about the blacklisting of a gender-critical chaplain, a leading lawyer working for the church has ruled.

The Archbishop reportedly tried to block a serious complaint of misconduct being investigated in relation to the ‘egregious’ blacklisting of Reverend Dr Bernard Randall.

Dr Bernard Randall, 52, received a 5-year ban from his ministry for preaching traditional Christian views to students at Trent College, a private school in Derbyshire, where he was the chaplain. link

He told students during a sermon that they could question teaching on ‘LGBT’ relationships.

Dr. Randall was reported to Prevent, the terrorism watchdog, and was ruled by the Church of England to be a risk to children.

The Bible says,
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Triggered by the truth?

In 2019, Dr. Randall gave a sermon he titled ‘Competing Ideologies’, during which he reassured young people that they ‘are not obliged to accept someone else’s ideology’.

In his well articulated Bible standard speech, he told students that they were at liberty to listen to other points of view, whether on religion, Brexit or ‘LGBT ’.

Dr. Randall went on to say it was not wrong to think ‘that human beings are indeed male and female’. He also suggested that, according to the Christian church, marriage is between a man and woman and that a dim view is taken of sex outside of wedlock.

His words triggered complaints from pupils, parents and staff members. Some even claimed they were nearly left in tears.

Despite being cleared of wrongdoing over the 2019 sermon, he remains barred from preaching after a decision by the Bishop of Derby, the Right Reverend Libby Lane, the church’s first female bishop.

Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness.

Exonerated yet denied

Following an investigation by the church, Dr. Randall was exonerated for the comments he made during his sermon.

But the Derby diocese’s safeguarding team, under the watch of Bishop Lane, still stopped Dr. Randall from taking any position as a vicar.

In 2021, the diocese refused to grant him a licence to officiate without first going through a risk assessment, effectively banning him from preaching.

The diocese safeguarding team claims that the sermon itself was not the reason for this witch-hunt against Dr. Randall.

Rather, it supposedly raised concerns about how he might ‘support someone who came to him if they were struggling with their sexuality’. But Christian Concern, which took up Dr. Randall’s case, maintains that the Right Reverend Lane blacklisted him as a ‘risk to children’ because of his Christian beliefs.

Identity politics over spiritual?

Senior church leaders are taking the back seat and turning away from their parishioners, prioritising identity politics over spiritual and moral guidance.

This attempt to appeal to younger generations through a focus on progressive ideologies is misguided and out of touch with what most people, particularly the youth, truly seek. Instead of ‘woke’ ideologies, there is a growing desire for genuine unity and moderation within the church.

The Church, despite its increasingly diluted stance, has a unique chance to offer a balanced and unifying voice.

Unfortunately, its current leadership, exemplified by Archbishop Welby and Right Reverend Lane, seems more concerned with conforming to popular opinions rather than fulfilling their role as spiritual shepherds.

The Bible says
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Persecuted Christian professionals

In recent times, more Christians have been increasingly persecuted for speaking up against gender indoctrination and sodomy.

In July 2024, a Christian maths teacher, Joshua Sutcliffe was banned from teaching by the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) for stating that ‘a boy cannot be a girl’ and ‘homosexuality is a sin.’

Also, In July 2023, a Christian councillor, King Lawal was suspended for tweeting that pride is not a virtue but a sin.

Meanwhile, another Christian teacher identified as Glawdys Leger was was sacked after refusing to promote extreme ‘LGBT’ ideology, and for expressing her biblical beliefs on human sexuality in response to student questions.

In July 2023, a Christian social worker had a £25,000-a-year job offer revoked after his employer discovered his previous legal victory affirming his freedom of speech.

Felix Ngolefaced expulsion from a social worker training course at Sheffield University after sharing a Facebook post that referenced Bible passages on the topic of same-sex marriage.

Son of Tavistock: NHS to open six new children’s gender clinics by 2026

NHS England has announced it will be opening six new gender identity clinics by 2026.

The health service claims the new gender clinics will ‘provide tailored gender services,’ based on recommendations in the Cass Review.’

But rather than address underlying issues that may be causing a child to have feelings of ‘being in the wrong body’, as Dr. Hilary Cass recommended in April, the NHS appears fully set to promote gender ideologies even more among children and young people.

The new clinics will reportedly focus more on providing a ‘holistic’ approach that includes supporting children with mental health conditions, which is in line with Dr. Cass’s recommendations.

But to open new venues with ‘gender’ in their titles will surely expose children to the possibility of embarking down the same old ‘trans’ pathway operated by the discredited Tavistock Clinic.

Dr Cass, former president of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, detailed in her 388-page report that there was ‘no good evidence’ for the medical push to transition children’s gender. The push had been ‘built on shaky foundations.’

NHS statement

The NHS say: ‘Two new NHS Children and Young People’s Gender Services, led by London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, have already opened in April.

‘The NHS will continue to appoint up to six additional new specialist regional centres by 2026 – with the next new service in Bristol becoming operational by November 2024 and plans to mobilise a service for the East of England over the course of 2024/25.

‘Each of the new services will have a nominated paediatrician or psychiatrist who has overall clinical responsibility for patient safety within the service as it establishes a fundamentally different clinical model built on the strongest possible evidence base.

‘Young people referred into the service will have their wider health and care needs considered and assessed holistically.’

Whether anything will actually change, despite the fine words, is very much open to doubt. We explore why below.

Trial of Puberty Blockers

The NHS refers to documents it has published entitled ‘Children and young people’s gender services: implementing the Cass Review recommendations‘. These ‘set out the scope for further research, in line with key recommendations from Dr Cass, to evaluate all approaches to inform the best possible patient care.

‘These plans also set out that, subject to academic approval, recruitment to a clinical trial into the potential benefits and harms of puberty suppressing hormones for children and young people is likely to commence in early 2025.’

The trial is set to begin later this year, with children being recruited to it in early 2025. But surely one needs the pro-trans mindset seemingly embedded in today’s NHS to see any benefit at all in preventing children from achieving normal adulthood by stopping them going through puberty and growing up normally?

The biblical position

The Lord Jesus said clearly:
Matt 9:12b They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

The clinical trial, recruiting children to give them what amounts to a poison, is so unethical and immoral it could only happen in a system whose leaders, as the prophet Hosea said of those in ancient Israel:
Hos 4:10b … have left off to take heed to the LORD.

Chillingly, God says through Hosea in the same passage:
Hos 4:6b … seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Hosea’s prophecy is coming true in our day, calling us to prayer and witness.

Review led by gender fanatic

Alongside children and young people’s services, NHS England has also published plans for a review into adult gender services, following, it says, ‘recommendations from Dr Cass’.

The NHS claim this review ‘will look at the effectiveness, appropriateness and stability of each current service, and will be led by Dr David Levy, Medical Director for Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB, who will be an independent chair, supported by a panel of expert clinicians, patients and representatives from Royal Colleges and professional bodies.’

However, Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board has published a ‘Diversity and Inclusion Glossary‘ which defines ‘Cisgender’ as ‘A person whose gender identity aligns with the sex they were assigned at birth.’ It uses the same absurd ‘assigned’ expression elsewhere.

It defines ‘Gender’ as: ‘A social construct informed by the norms, roles and behaviours that we attribute
to being masculine, feminine or third gender.’ Furthermore, the term ‘Gender Reassignment’, it asserts, has been replaced by ‘Gender confirmation/affirmation’. It speaks of mutilatory mastectomy as ‘Top Surgery’.

This document must have been approved by the ICB’s medical director. It asserts that sex is ‘assigned’ rather than ‘discerned’ at birth, describes ‘gender’ as a ‘social construct’, that surgery can ‘affirm’ a delusion and believes there is ‘third gender’? In what way will Dr Levy be ‘independent’ of gender ideology?

‘Expanding NHS gender services’

Professor James Palmer , NHS medical director for specialised commissioning, gives the game away in the NHS press release when he says gender services will be ‘expanding’: ‘The roll out of new specialist centres in every region across England will be central to improving and expanding NHS gender services for children and young people, to ensure that they receive evidence-based, responsive, holistic care – and the Cass Review is the backbone on which our implementation plan is based.

‘It’s clear that our services for adults need focus too. The waiting times for care are too long and experiences of care are too variable. The review needs to address poor experience but also learn from good experiences of care. It’s vital we hear from patients and staff, some of whom have raised concerns to Dr Cass, and this review will be a further opportunity for them to be heard.

‘There remains considerable work to do, but we are already making progress on a number of Dr Cass’ recommendations, and our plans published, set how we will establish services that provide the care that patients and their families need to thrive.’

The nod to Hilary Cass must not blind us to what is happening here. It is ‘business as usual’ for the gender fanatics of the NHS.

Feeling safe or promoting gender ideology?

Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting said: ‘I am pleased to be working with NHS England to fully implement the recommendations from Dr Cass’s review, so that young people get the safe, holistic care and support they need. The unacceptable waiting times for gender services cause enormous distress to children and young people, at a crucial point in their lives.

‘As well as rolling out new services, NHS England is setting up a clinical trial to establish the evidence on puberty blockers, because children’s healthcare should always be led by evidence.

‘I want trans people in our country to feel safe, accepted, and able to live with freedom and dignity.’

His Majesty’s Secretary of State would do better to assert biblical truth that God has made us male and female and that no-one can ever change his, or her, genetic make-up.

Dr Hilary Cass reacts

Dr Hilary Cass said: ‘I am pleased that NHS England is planning to fully implement the recommendations of my Review and the next important step will be the most challenging – turning it into a reality.

‘The vision of the Review – reflected in the implementation plan – is to increase available services for gender-questioning young people which take a holistic approach to care addressing the needs of each individual, and which put in place a full package of care which can be delivered as close to home as possible.

‘Setting up a new collaborative of regional providers will also bring in leaders from professional societies, education, and research, to ensure these services continue to develop in line with evidence and best practice to support children and young people.’

Royal Colleges Academy is pro-trans

Doctor Jeanette Dickson, Chair of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, said: ‘We welcome these important steps towards implementing the recommendations of the Cass Review because at the heart of this are thousands of children and young people in need of care. The sooner we can make sure they are treated by the most appropriate professional in a way that’s right for them, the better. NHS England has moved with admirable speed, but we must keep the pace up if we are to help these patients in a timely and fair way.’

But inevitably, Dr Dickson’s ‘Academy’ is itself pro-trans. It wants a ban on ‘conversion therapy’, including consensual discussions around ‘gender’. It says: “Any legislation should ban ‘conversion therapy’ for all groups, including transgender people and adults, even where ‘consent’ may be provided.”

Poor Dr Cass. She thought it would all change, but she had not reckoned with the trans juggernaut. This will need much prayer.

I have been seeking the Lord about the riots in Leeds and Southport. The Leeds affair was confined to July 2024. Southport started with the shocking and tragic stabbing to death of three little girls in July, but its ramifications are continuing.

So let’s take a biblical look at Leeds. I warn you, feathers may be ruffled.

Politicians and Commentators

Home Secretary Yvette Cooper MP said: ‘disorder of this nature has no place in our society’. The word ‘our’ is I think doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence.

UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, said: ‘Rioters will feel the full force of the law’. As will people (like the author) who stand with Bible verses outside abortion centres, for that matter.

From the chattering classes, here’s former Labour MP Tom Harris writing in the Telegraph: ‘Political violence in a democracy is unacceptable,’ he says. He goes on: ‘It was unacceptable when rioting broke out in Leeds, sparked by local anger at the removal by social workers of two Roma children from their families.’

In this video I’m going to tell you why scripture completely disagrees with Mr Harris.

And it was four children, not two. (The footage of the police marching away the struggling children, in our video, is harrowing.)

And is a ‘democracy’ a system in which a regime comes into office with the support of just 20% of the population and rules in its own authority for the next five years?

Parents could not explain injuries

So how did the Leeds trouble begin? In April 2024 a Roma family took their baby to hospital with injuries they could not explain.

The doctors told Leeds City Social Services. All four children became subject to Family Court orders and were sent to stay with different family members in the Harehills area of Leeds.

These are not the first parents to fall under immediate suspicion when not able to explain what has caused their child’s injuries.

Then, in July, Leeds Social Services mounted an operation to take all four children into what they call ‘care’. I’ll explain why that happened in a moment.

Taking children into ‘care’

But I have sat in court as a reporter in cases like these. I have to tell you, taking children into ‘care’, as they call it, instead of keeping a family together, is Child Protection’s default, even kneejerk, mode of operation.

Social workers are terrified of adverse media if a child is harmed, as that might affect their job prospects. Even the good ones are trained in a godless system which views ordinary families with suspicion.

I never saw social workers help a family, they just made demands. If you work in Social Services and you want to use the comments to tell me I’m wrong, please feel free.

Negative outcomes of ‘Care’

But over two years covering such cases in court, that is how I was drawn to see it. Parents felt the entire system of social workers, solicitors, barristers, Cafcass, judges, was against them.

And as for their ‘care’ system, it’s so good, that if a young mother who has been ‘in care’ comes to the future attention of social services, the mere fact that she has been in care counts against her.

They are more likely to take her children if she herself has been ‘in care’. That’s how good local authority ‘care’ is at doing what should be the parental job of raising children.

The Biblical position on Family

The Good Book says:
Exod 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

And we read:
Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

That is the Roma culture.

So when social services turned up to remove these four children, the family, part of a local community from Romania, living in Harehills, objected. Their children are important to them. You don’t touch Roma children.

You can call this a culture clash if you wish. There’s a culture which values family as a God-given institution versus a culture in which the overweening godless State believes it can do parenting better.

And why were the children being taken into ‘care’? Incredibly, Leeds Children’s Services had been alerted that family members planned to take the children back home to Romania without their permission.

That was it. I mean, what business is it of Leeds Council if a family take their children out of their jurisdiction?

We saw this in Sweden, years ago, in the case of Domenic Johansson. Domenic and his Indian mum, who was home-schooling him, were about to take off for India. Police and social services boarded the plane and seized Domenic.

Arrogance of State officials

You see exactly the same arrogance of Western state officials in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police were called, but also, word spread and a crowd gathered. So when the police tried forcibly to help social services spirit the children away, local people from the various communities, the Roma, the Muslims, the whit folks, all rose up against the police and a riot broke out.

The officers were outnumbered and retreated because it was ‘too dangerous’, according to the Telegraph.

A police car was overturned. For some reason a bus was set on fire. I’m not excusing criminal damage. But people do not always act rationally. Drink can also become a factor.

Not ‘mindless violence’

Apart from stuff like the bus, what we were seeing was not mindless violence. There were no serious injuries and to date, only one person has been charged, with the bus fire, if I am not very much mistaken.

It was nothing whatsoever to do the ‘politics of the subcontinent’ as Nigel Farage immediately surmised. That’s when Muslim youths fight the Hindus in Leicester, sir.

No, it was an uprising by a left-behind community sparked by one incident but built on years of resentment against deprivation and state over-reach, which many people will have seen in their own lives, including reacting against a police force which thinks it is more important to protect pompous council child thieves and to place under arrest an autistic teenage girl, less than a year ago, merely for observing that a police woman looked like ‘her lesbian nana’, than to investigate burglaries.

‘Diversity, equality and inclusion’

And of course West Yorkshire Police have a ‘Diversity, Equality and Inclusion’ policy. The British establishment care far more about virtue signalling than about protecting the public.

By the way, do you want to know the reason why we are not allowed to name the children involved?

They say it’s to protect the children. But it is actually to protect the system. The less the sunlight of publicity penetrates their workings the happier secularist social workers are.

The Lord Jesus said:
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

’Urgent Review of child care cases

Meanwhile, the riot continued in and around Harehills into the next day. The papers reported: ‘Give the kids back’: ‘Hundreds take to the streets in second night of chaos in Leeds.’

Reports were headlined: ‘Romanians chant “please bring the kids back” as Leeds council launches an “urgent review” of its child care cases’. It took a riot to bring about an ‘urgent review’.

The parents of the children announced a hunger strike until they were returned. What Tom Harris described as ‘unacceptable’ rioting continued over the weekend.

Children returned only after court hearing

Finally, on the Tuesday, the Council returned the children, after a Family Court hearing. In the interim, the court heard, the children had been ‘feeling unhappy and unsettled’ with the paid foster carers. What a surprise that when you go against God’s created order things go wrong.

The Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service (CAFCASS) social worker actually wanted to leave the children in care and subject Leeds to further riots. She said she had not had enough time to go round and assess the family. Yes, officials can be that dumb.

Nevertheless, the Mail reported: ‘Judge Helen Trotter-Jackson stressed the importance of the children’s welfare and the need to cool the tension.’

That comment from the learned judge shows that if there had been no riots, as well there being no review, the children would likely have stayed in care.

Rioters achieved their aims

The rioters had achieved their modest aims. Mercifully, the low life who always see an opportunity to loot shops, as happened in Tottenham in 2011, were absent.

The local people appeared to have no leader, yet, like the Bible’s locusts:

It was the same in Kenya last month, when Generation Z took to the streets against an ungodly finance bill imposing taxes on items as diverse and basic as bread and sanitary products.

They too had no leader, only, they said, the Constitution. Similar language came from Kenya’s president, William Ruto, condemning the protesters as came from Keir Starmer.

Then Mr Ruto dropped the bill.

Our leaders need repentance

The common factor is an attitude of the elite that ordinary people may be viewed with contempt and that rather than government trying to better the people’s lives, as the Bible demands:
Prov 29:7a The righteous considereth the cause of the poor:

They do what they think they can get away with. They need repentance and the Gospel truth of fearing God and loving their neighbour.

So rioting on the streets against tyranny is not ‘unacceptable’. It may just be the only language the establishment understand.

In Leeds it brought the state, in the ruling of Judge Helen, to heel. In Kenya it has forced ungodly taxation to be abandoned.

The Bible position on riots and rebellion

So, what does the Bible say about riots and rebellion? Well, when the people of Israel rebelled against Solomon’s son king Rehoboam over taxation, there is not one word of condemnation of them in 1Kings 12 to 14 or in 2Chronicles 10 to 12.

Not a single word. It’s the leaders whose actions prompted the rebellion who are criticised.

Yes, Rehoboam’s stupidity and political ineptitude were the judgment of God, but the key verse is this advice from the wisdom of the old men, which he ignored:

‘Government of the elite, by the elite, for the elite.’ Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

1Kings 12:7 And they spake unto him ( Rehoboam), saying, If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants for ever. (cf : 2Chron 10:7)

That is what our leaders too have forgotten. They have replaced government of the people, by the people, for the people, which is true democracy, by oligarchy, that is, government of the elite, by the elite, for the elite.

In January 2023, at Davos, journalist Emily Maitlis asked Sir Keir Starmer which he preferred, Westminster or Davos. Without hesitation, the Labour leader replied: ‘Davos’.

Politicians should consider their ways

Sir Keir Starmer and his deputy and Angela Rayner ostentatiously ‘taking the knee’ in 2020.

Politicians, well, most of them, always seem to be much more keen to condemn the behaviour of their people, who they reckon should know their place and do as they are told, than to examine themselves and consider their ways, as the Bible puts it.
Hag 1:5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

The Bible calls them to replace their arrogance with humility and to remember they are there to serve the people, not their ideology or themselves and their friends.
Prov 15:33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.

In short, they must return to this nation’s Christian constitution, and acknowledge there is one higher than they, the Lord Jesus, the King of kings, to whom they must answer.

NHS staff told to ask men if they are pregnant before x-rays

NHS staff at multiple hospitals in England have been told they must check whether all patients aged 12 to 55 are pregnant, regardless of their sex.

The NHS claims this is part of its ‘inclusivity policy’.

The guidance, which follows an incident where a ‘transgender man’ unknowingly underwent a CT scan while pregnant, requires staff to ask about pregnancy status without making assumptions about a patient’s gender identity.

Some hospitals have gone further, asking patients to complete forms stating their sex at birth, preferred name and pronouns.

The radiation from X-ray, CT and MRI scans, as well as cancer treatments, can be dangerous to unborn babies, but forms designed to be ‘inclusive’ have caused confusion and anger among patients and pose a risk to their safety, according to Radiographers at the NHS.

The Daily Telegraph reports that the measures had left men storming out of appointments and women in tears because of ‘invasive’ fertility questions. It is understood that patients are being asked to fill out pregnancy forms stating their sex at birth, preferred name and pronouns, and read “ridiculous” statements about people who are born with variations in sex characteristics.

The Bible says,

What this could mean

One radiographer claimed a man on a two-week urgent cancer pathway ‘was so annoyed by the questions on the form, he shouted, he left the department and didn’t actually have a scan’.

‘There is an unnecessary risk for these patients if they do get so annoyed and don’t have the scan.’

An NHS staff said Women have been left in tears by questions about their fertility, including having to explain why they could not be pregnant, while patients of all backgrounds have been affronted or embarrassed by the suggestion that their sex was not obvious.

‘We’ve had women who have had terrible miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, and we’re reminding them of that trauma,’ a source said. ‘Instead of just asking ‘is there any chance you could be pregnant?’ and them choosing to say ‘no’, they’re now having to say, ‘I had two ectopic pregnancies, and I don’t have ovaries anymore’ and we then write that down.’

‘Indoctrinating children’

Children are once again put in the middle of gender propaganda at the NHS.

A part of the form show where children under-18 are being asked their preferred names and pronouns.

The guidance says ‘a patient should always be asked “What pronouns would you like me to use for you?” and “How would you like to be addressed?”‘

The Bible says,
Romans 08:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Society of Radiographers responds

The questions make up part of the ‘inclusive pregnancy status guidelines for ionising radiation’ that were developed by the Society of Radiographers (SoR). The college encourages NHS radiology departments to use its form or create their own version.

Its guidance claims the proportion of British adults ‘identifying as trans or non-binary is as high as 4.5 per cent’, despite Office for National Statistic census data putting it at 0.5 per cent. It says a further 1.7 per cent of people are intersex, which is thought to be the situation with Olympic medal-winning boxers, Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-ting, who purportedly have XY chromosomes, known also as differences of sex development (DSD).

It is not known how widespread their use is, but it is understood multiple hospitals in London, the North West and North East are using variations of the form.

‘NHS trusts must return to common sense and reality’

Fiona McAnena, the director of campaigns at human rights charity Sex Matters, said: ‘The Society of Radiographers’ inclusion policy is among the worst examples of professional bodies losing their senses by prioritising ideology ahead of biological fact.

‘Putting healthcare staff and male patients through this humiliating farce, with inclusivity pregnancy forms, questions on the likelihood of pregnancy, and enquiries about their pronouns, is both inappropriate and a shocking waste of time.

‘The NHS trusts that have adopted this policy in their radiography units should immediately revoke it and return to common sense and reality.’

Assisted Suicide Bill introduced in Scotland

The Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill has been introduced to the Scottish Parliament, sparking widespread debate.

The proposed legislation which is at stage one, aims to allow terminally ‘ill adults’ in Scotland, who are eligible, to lawfully request, and be provided with, assistance by health professionals to end their own life.

Proponents argue that the bill offers a compassionate choice for those suffering unbearably, while pro-life campaigners say murder is murder. Adding that the bill if passed can potentially raise ethical concerns and fear potential abuses.

Meanwhile, Scottish consultation has set up a survey to further decide on the bill.

This an opportunity to stand for life by making it clear that you oppose assisted suicide and euthanasia.

What is assisted suicide?

Assisted suicide is intentionally helping another person to end their life. It can involve people who are not terminally ill.

Providing someone with a lethal dose of sedatives or helping them go to Switzerland (where assisted suicide is legal) could both be considered assisted suicide.

But who has given man the power to end another man’s life?

Matthew 5:21-22 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgement.

What is euthanasia?

Euthanasia is the act of deliberately ending a person’s life, to relieve suffering in which a lethal drug is administered by a physician.

It is legal in fewer places than assisted dying or assisted suicide and patients do not necessarily have to be terminally ill, external.

There are two types: voluntary euthanasia, external, where a patient has given consent, and non-voluntary, external, where they have not been able to, for example if they are in a coma.

Attempts to legalise murder?

Across the UK, the laws prohibits individuals from seeking medical assistance to end their lives.

In particular, euthanasia is illegal in England and classified as manslaughter or murder, carrying a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.

The Suicide Act of 1961 further criminalises the act of encouraging or assisting a suicide in England and Wales, with offenders facing up to 14 years in prison.

Comparable laws are in place in Northern Ireland.

Although Scotland does not have a specific law against assisting suicide, aiding someone in dying could result in charges of culpable homicide. But the the Bible is crystal clear about murder.

Countries considering changes

Scotland, Jersey, and the Isle of Man are currently considering changes to their laws to allow terminally ill individuals to end their lives.

Campaigner Dame Esther Rantzen is urging Westminster MPs to also vote on assisted dying, claiming that a report found ‘some evidence of improved end-of-life care in regions where it is permitted’.

Several countries have already legalised various forms of assisted suicide, or euthanasia, each with distinct definitions and regulations.

Euthanasia is legal in five countries in Europe: Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and more recently Germany and Spain. In the Netherlands, mental illness can result in euthanasia. In Oregon, US, non-terminal illness, such as arthritis and anorexia are used as reasons. Canada, too is well down the ‘slippery slope’

Olympic championships: Female athletes in danger

An Olympic bout saw a female athlete withdraw just 46 seconds into her fight against an opponent who had previously failed a gender test.

Italian Angela Carini took only a couple of hits from Algeria’s Imane Khelif before withdrawing from the match and falling to her knees in tears- an extremely unusual occurrence in Olympic boxing.

Hungary, the country of Khelif’s next opponent, is now mounting a challenge, reports CBS Sports..

Mr. Khelif was previously banned from competing in the world championships by the International Boxing association because he failed testosterone and gender eligibility tests. IBA president Umar Kremlev stated last year that “it was proven they have XY chromosomes”

Fight ‘Not fair’

This bout had already sparked intense controversy, with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) facing mounting pressure to explain how a woman could be allowed into a boxing ring without certainty about the sex of her opponent. The IOC has fallen out with the IBA so the latter has no jurisdiction over the Olympics.

Algeria’s Khelif won in 46 seconds after Ms. Carini quit in the 66kg category, following a suspected broken nose. The latter claimed the fight was ‘not fair’.

‘Never been punched so hard’

According to the Daily Telegraph, Ms. Carini said she abandoned the fight because she had never been punched so hard.

Imane Khelif was previously banned from competing in a gold-medal bout in Delhi by the International Boxing Association, which cited his ‘elevated levels of testosterone’ as failing to meet the eligibility criteria.

Despite this, the IOC permitted him to fight in these Olympics.

The power difference was evident from the start, with Carini taking a punch to the face and immediately walking to his corner, signaling she would not continue.

‘Controversy before the fight’

Prior to the fight, many voiced concerns about the IOC’s decision to allow Imane Khelif to compete for Algeria.

It is true that both Khelif and Yu-Ting have been competing in women’s boxing for many years.

Mexico’s Brianda Tamara, a former opponent of Khelif, recounted their 2022 fight and spoke about Khelif’s extraordinary power and strength.

She said Khelif’s power and strength was unbelievable and that she had never ‘felt like that in my 13 years as a boxer, nor in my sparring with men’. She was grateful that she ‘got out of the ring safely’.

Australian boxing captain Caitlin Parker labeled Khelif’s eligibility as ‘incredibly dangerous,’ although Australian boxing coach Santiago Nieva stated Khelif was fine to fight.

IOC defends its decision

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) said the pair were facing ‘aggression’ because of an ‘arbitrary decision’ by the IBA.

‘Towards the end of the IBA World Championships in 2023, they were suddenly disqualified without any due process,’ the IOC said.

Some sports have limited the levels of testosterone allowed for athletes competing in women’s competition, while others ban everyone who has been through male puberty.

Differences in sex development are a group of rare conditions involving genes, hormones and reproductive organs. Some people with DSDs are raised as female but have XY sex chromosomes and blood testosterone levels in the male range. (see below for Swyer Syndrome.)

IOC Official was Keir Starmer best man

The IOC said the rules of eligibility were based on those of the Tokyo Games in 2021 and cannot be changed during a competition.

‘The current aggression against these two athletes is based entirely on this arbitrary decision, which was taken without any proper procedure, especially considering that these athletes had been competing in top-level competition for many years.

‘The IOC is saddened by the abuse that the two athletes are currently receiving,” it added. “Every person has the right to practice sport without discrimination.’

Meanwhile, It has also emerged that the official at the centre of the row, Mark Adams, spokesman for the International Olympic Committee (IOC), defending the participation of Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-ting, was a best man at Sir Keir Starmer’s wedding.

The Telegraph reports Mr Adams has known the Prime Minister since the two were at school together. Biology was clearly not on the curriculum.

Imane Khelif is not the only boxer in Paris with questions surrounding their gender. Lin Yu-ting of Taiwan was also expelled from the women’s world championships last year after IBA tests revealed that the 28-year-old also has XY chromosomes.

Despite this, Yu-ting fought Uzbekistan’s Sitora Turdibekova this week and also won, unanimously.

It is astonishing and alarming that a woman was encouraged to step into the ring with an opponent whose biological sex she did not know.

What does research say?

Studies have shown that men can punch 2.6 times harder than women, a critical safety concern beyond the usual issues of fair competition.

If Khelif’s testosterone levels are akin to those of a man, Carini faced a significant risk during the match and could have sustained injuries far worse than a broken nose had the fight continued.

These sex tests are implemented for good reasons: to protect women and ensure fair competition. However, the IOC has labelled concerns about Khelif and Yu-ting competing against female boxers as part of a mean-spirited ‘witch-hunt.’

Nevertheless, UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy MP, previously vowing to leave decisions up to individual boards, has now decided to ‘speak to sporting bodies about ‘inclusion, fairness and safety’.’

Swyer Syndrome: XY genetics is not ‘she’ or ‘her’

It seems Khelif might be afflicted with Swyer Syndrome, which the US Government describes as ‘a rare genetic condition in which people who have an X chromosome and a Y chromosome (the usual pattern for males) look female. They have normal female reproductive organs, including a uterus, fallopian tubes, and vagina. However, the ovaries do not develop and are replaced by clumps of tissue where they would normally form. Swyer syndrome is usually not diagnosed until puberty, when menstrual periods do not begin as they should.’

The syndrome is named after Professor Gerald Swyer (1917-1995), an eminent endocrinologist and expert in the area of reproductive medicine. He reported on this ‘XY gonadal dysgenesis’ in 1955. See HERE.

However, both Khelif and Yu-ting have clearly undergone masculine development now possessing male levels of testosterone. So their situation could be more complicated than ‘simple’ Swyer syndrome. It remains that XY chromosomes are a male characteristic, making it inappropriate to call either boxer ‘she’ or ‘her’.

It is unfortunate, but our human condition since the fall sometimes deals us a sad hand. We must never let being ‘kind’ trump justice and equity or the safety of competitors.

What is the reality for female athletes globally?

Women’s boxing world champion Claressa Shields has fumed over the decision to allow two fighters who failed gender tests to compete against females at this summer’s Paris Olympics.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist wrote on X: ‘So they got men fighting against women in the Olympics boxing!

‘I wouldn’t have stood for no stuff like that! That is so heartbreaking to the women who have to have their dreams ruined by a man.

Ms. Shields first rose to fame in women’s boxing when she captured two gold medals at the Olympics; first coming out on top at the 2012 Games in London before repeating the feat four years later in Rio de Janeiro.

Another X user Oli London wrote: ‘Today she had her Olympic dreams crushed after being beaten by a MALE during a WOMENS boxing match.

‘This is the daily reality for female athletes across the world, as they are forced to compete against trans men in the name of ‘Diversity and Inclusion.’

Paris Olympics blasphemes Christ

The 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, has continued the trend set by the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

In Birmingham, there was a bull being worshipped and then tamed by enlightened figures holding a crystal, followed by Tom Daley strutting out with the so-called Progress Pride flag.

In Paris, the ceremony included a parody of our Lord’s institution of Holy Communion, as depicted in Leonardo da Vinci’s painting of the Last Supper.

As we read in Luke’s Gospel:
Luke 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

In place of Christ at the Paris ceremony, there was a plump Jewish lesbian (reportedly) woman displaying cleavage, while the disciples, reminiscent of Terrence McNally’s blasphemous play Corpus Christi, were portrayed by assorted homosexuals, weirdos, and drag queens.

Every national team that proudly carried their flag into the venue in the pouring rain was inadvertently participating in the Paris perversion.

One Bishop described the event as a ‘gross mockery of the Last Supper’ and questioned, ‘Would they ever dare mock Islam in a similar way?’ The answer is likely no, for three reasons: (1) they understand the repercussions of such actions, (2) they believe there is little in Islam worth parodying, and (3) Christianity is deeply rooted in European culture. Our elites scorn this heritage in favour, perhaps, of a gender-free future powered by renewables.

Christianity an easy target

For those lacking in creativity, Christianity becomes an easy target. They lash out at the Christian faith and its core principles, which are rooted in respect for the Almighty and love for one’s neighbour.

Our Lord Jesus Himself said:
Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The Olympians are sawing off the very cultural branch they are sitting on. Judgement has already fallen on the Commonwealth Games.

Tom Daley insisted that countries maintaining biblical laws against sodomy should not host the Games in the future. Be careful what you wish for, Tom. The organisers are now struggling to find any country willing to host the event. It’s simply not worth it.

France blackout

Parts of Paris experienced a ten-minute electricity blackout the day after the controversial ceremony. Amid the darkness, the Sacré-Cœur Basilica remained illuminated on its hill.

In four years, in 2028, the Summer Olympics are scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, California, a city often regarded as one of the most progressive in the world. Following that, in 2032, the Games are set for Brisbane, Australia. Given current trends, one can expect the level of progressiveness to be significantly heightened.

The only potential safeguard against the increasing propensity for controversial displays at the Olympics is if African and Asian nations refuse to participate. Alternatively, they could choose to attend and compete for medals but boycott the opening ceremony. Sign our petition:

Christian teacher banned for ‘misgendering’ pupil loses High Court appeal

A Christian former maths teacher, who was banned for ‘misgendering’ a pupil, has lost his appeal in the High Court, the Daily Telegraph reports.

Joshua Sutcliffe’s appeal was dismissed on 25th July. He was banned from teaching by the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) for stating that ‘a boy cannot be a girl’ and ‘homosexuality is a sin.’

He also expressed a biblical view to students that same-sex ‘marriage’ was wrong.

The Telegraph report described that as ‘equal marriage’, illustrating the extent to which woke, false, language is now embedded even in so-called ‘conservative’ mainstream media.

Preferred pronouns

A High Court judge, Mr Justice Pepperall, upheld the TRA decision, ruling that Mr. Sutcliffe should remain indefinitely barred from the profession for refusing to use the preferred pronouns of a pupil. But the very concept of ‘social transitioning’ is highly contested.

He was barred from teaching in 2023 after the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) claimed he breached safeguarding duties by refusing to conform to ‘trans’ ideologies in class.

It is thought to be the first case of its kind to reach appeal stage and be dismissed by the High Court.

The Judgement

In submissions to the High Court, Mr Sutcliffe’s lawyers argued that the teaching ban was an ‘unjustified interference’ with his rights to freedom of speech and religion.

They also argued the decision to bar him from the profession was ‘unsafe’ and included ‘perverse’ findings, adding that Mr Sutcliffe had a right “not to believe gender identity belief”.

But in a written ruling, Mr Justice Pepperall dismissed his attempt to overturn the ban, concluding that Mr Sutcliffe ‘fails to understand or accept the harm that he caused vulnerable children in his class.’

Mr Justice Pepperall ruled that ‘no matter what a teacher’s religious or philosophical beliefs they must in relation to transgender pupils use compelled speech and “respect and celebrate the pupils’ personal autonomy.’

Living in the days of Lot

He added that ‘just because misgendering a transgender pupil might not be unlawful did not mean it was appropriate conduct for a teacher.’

However, the previous government followed the Cass Review in being highly sceptical that confirming a child’s delusions is harmful at all. In any kind of rational , let alone biblical, view, it is more harmful to encourage a child down the social, medical, surgical ‘trans’ pathway.

When the whole establishment, including learned High Court judges, promote wickedness, in this case, the godless IDEA of trans and homosexual ideology, we really are living in the days of Lot.

‘Every teacher is at risk’

Mr Sutcliffe has warned that ‘every teacher is at risk’ if they share their beliefs in the classroom.

‘I still stand by my Christian convictions that it is harmful and detrimental to affirm gender-confused children,’ he said in a statement following the High Court decision.

He said he had been a ‘marked man’ since he ‘dared to express his Christian beliefs in a school’.

‘The TRA wanted me to capitulate and say that I was wrong. I have been severely punished for refusing to do so. Despite this setback, I will continue to fight for justice and to get my career back,’ he said.

‘In 2017, there was no training and no guidance on these issues for teachers. I was a young teacher building my career in the profession at a time when schools were taking guidance from Stonewall, not the Government or any experts on these issues.

‘With this ruling, every teacher is at risk if they share their beliefs and views in the classroom.

Mr Sutcliffe had sought to challenge a prohibition order handed down by the teaching regulator in May 2023.

Bible truth not allowed in schools

The ban on Bible truths in schools is making it increasingly challenging for Christian teachers to adhere to their faith while meeting government standards.

This situation forces Christian educators to conform to state-imposed beliefs, despite their personal convictions.

It is ridiculous for teachers to be prohibited from expressing religious views, while they are required to teach transgender ideologies, which may conflict with their personal beliefs.

This creates a significant conflict for Christian educators, who find themselves navigating between their faith and their professional responsibilities.

Just Stop Oil: The IDEA is more important than people

The mother of a 22-year-old Just Stop Oil activist who was sentenced to four years in prison has lamented that her daughter will miss her brother’s wedding while incarcerated, The Telegraph reports.

Cressida Gethin, 22, received the sentence alongside Roger Hallam, the co-founder of Extinction Rebellion, and three other activists following a disruptive Just Stop Oil campaign on the M25 in November 2022.

Hallam, 58, was found guilty of conspiring to block traffic and received a record five-year prison sentence. The judge ruled that he had ‘crossed the line from concerned campaigner to fanatic.’

Last week, Gethin and the other activists—Lucia Whittaker De Abreu, 34, Daniel Shaw, 38, and Louise Lancaster, 58—were each sentenced to four years in prison after being found guilty of conspiring to block traffic on the M25.

‘Cressida just had to do it’

Cathy Gethin, the mother of Cressida Gethin, defended her daughter’s actions, stating, ‘Cressida just had to do it because people weren’t listening to her call to stop travel, plastics, fertilisers, and reliable electric power.’

However, we argue that the public was perfectly aware of their views but simply disagreed both with bringing poverty by Net Zero and with what they rightly see as extreme measures.

There were significant disruptions caused by Cressida and her fellow activists when they scaled gantries along the M25 in 2022.

Their actions led to delayed ambulances and caused thousands to miss flights, medical appointments, exams, funerals, and possibly even weddings.

The Bible’s book of Proverbs says,

What is Just Stop Oil?

Just Stop Oil (JSO) advocates for the UK to halt the approval of new fossil fuel projects, citing their significant contribution to climate change.

Despite this, in July 2023, former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced the granting of 100 new North Sea licences, with additional licences to be awarded annually starting in November.

JSO employs ‘non-violent civil resistance’ and has pledged to cease protests if the government commits to ending fossil fuel production. The group is associated with other environmental organisations, such as Extinction Rebellion , and Insulate Britain.

‘Campaigning to keep the environment safe’?

There are growing concerns from concerned campaigners that Just Stop Oil activists prioritise their environmental agenda over the well-being of people.

The group’s disruptive actions, prioritisation of their cause over people’s immediate needs and livelihoods highlights a lack of empathy and awareness among the activists.

While the idea of environmental conservation is crucial, it should not come at the expense of the everyday lives and prosperity of fellow human beings.

‘We are not done yet’

Extinction Rebellion founder Roger Hallam, speaking to the BBC in a recorded message said: ‘The strategic moral imperative is resistance to the greatest ‘crisis’ in the history of humanity’.

Direct action remains ‘the right strategy, he added, confident that while in the short run some people may be deterred, others will only grow more determined.

It begs the question of what Just Stop Oil is planning next?
