Tommy Robinson: ‘Hate Chants’ and ‘Far Right’? Were there? Is he?

3
TommyMarchVideo
TommyMarchVideo

With a rally being organised by populist Tommy Robinson scheduled for Saturday 13th September, this could be a good time to remind ourselves of what happened at, and what the chattering classes said about, the previous one, in June 2024. Watch the video below, or read the transcript.

Video Script: I was in and around London last Saturday 1st June, but nowhere near a march and rally in Parliament Square organised by one Tommy Robinson. From the footage on Twitter it seemed good-natured but purposeful.

‘London not Londonistan’

The front banner, ‘London not Londonistan’, says it was opposing Islam, and clearly, in particular, the pro-Hamas and anti-Israel parades which have shamed our cities.

There was much waving of Union flags and St George’s Crosses displaying at the very least a patriotic passion for British identity.

Isn’t it odd how ordinary people instinctively know the truth of the Bible, in this case, a word from Proverbs:
Prov 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

And should our minds not be challenged when in the next chapter, the writer links that principle to a desire for justice for the poor?
Prov 23:10 Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:

’Hate Chant’ from ‘Far-Right’

Daily Telegraph

As I say, I wasn’t there, but according to the clickbait headline of the Daily Telegraph’s article on the event, by its Senior Reporter Henry Bodkin and its Environment Editor Emma Gatten:

‘Tommy Robinson supporters shout out ‘hate chant’ at far-Right London demo’ with a sub-text ‘Metropolitan Police on high alert having identified individuals in the crowd ‘associated with violent disorder’.’

Looking a little deeper, the ‘hate chant’, an expression which appeared in the headline but nowhere in the actual article, consisted merely of some of the marchers asking, in somewhat colourful language, who is ‘Allah’? (It’s here – but there’s bad language.)

‘Allah’ means ‘the god’ in Arabic. He is the Islamic, Muslim deity.

Who indeed is ‘Allah’?

Their robust language served a purpose. It said Allah has, at this time at least, no authority over this United Kingdom. They were saying ‘Allah’ is a nobody in this realm. And that’s a hate chant?

Going further, in the Koran, ‘Allah’ denies he ever had a son:
Koran 19:35: ‘It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son.’

‘Allah’ also denies our Lord’s crucifixion, and his deity:
Koran 4:157: ‘That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah”;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him,’
Koran 5:75: ‘Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger;’

‘Allah’ is therefore on his own admission not the same person as the triune Almighty God who stands at the head of the United Kingdom’s Christian constitution.

Who and what is ‘Far-Right’?

Luciana Berger
Luciana Berger

And I have to say, if standing up for the Christian faith in these islands is now ‘far-right’, quite a few Daily Telegraph readers will fall into that category.

I wonder if ‘far-right’ has now become little more than a dismissive insult, a smear. It was funny watching ex-Labour MP, Luciana Berger, who now runs a PR company and is a member of the Jewish Leadership Council, also denouncing the marchers as ‘far right’ on Dewbs & Co on GB News. She was promptly skewered by Michelle Dewberry when she refused to provide any examples of suspect banners or chants she said she had and then defined ‘far-right’ as ‘anyone to the right of the Conservatives.’ Watch from 29:30. ‘Far-right’ from 33:28.

I wonder if the real problem for Luciana, and the Telegraph’s Henry and Emma is that the folk on the march were overwhelmingly working-class with quite a few football supporters among them. Not exactly Luciana, Henry and Emma’s sort of people, don’t you know.

Counter-demonstrators arrested

Youth Demand - Muslims and posh kids.
Youth Demand – Muslims and posh kids.

As to disorder, during the day, the police issued a statement saying:

“Officers have identified individuals within the crowd who have a history of being involved in violent disorder.
“A number have football banning orders and are associated with hooligan groups from London and across the UK.
“There is also an element of the crowd previously well known for involvement in anti-lockdown protests during the pandemic and associated disorder.
“While there have not been any offences so far, a number of people in the crowd are intoxicated. The event still has a number of hours left to go.”

It turned out the only people arrested were from a Muslim counter-demonstration called Youth Demand, who, I can only assume, were stone-cold sober. (P.S. Sorry: Any Muslims might have been, the middle-class kids possibly not.)

Anti-Lockdown Protesters

But the police also seemed to be saying that ‘involvement in anti-lockdown protests’ was a reprehensible activity and that they know who was involved in those.

Are we now in a surveillance state?

If so, and if you are with the psalmist, who said:
Psa 119:45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

You might want to stand up for your liberty now before you lose it.

It’s a spiritual battle

And that word from the psalms leads me to observe that the marchers are trying to solve the puzzle of our British identity crisis with only half the pieces.

Yes, it is right to oppose Islam. But you also need to embrace the Christian heritage of this United Kingdom, and if you are not yet a Christian yourself, to make Jesus Lord of your life.

I’ll be blunt: This is a spiritual battle and you cannot fight it in your own strength. You will win it only by being in Christ and being clothed, as we say, with the Gospel armour, wielding the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.
(Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God).

Needed: Laws of God and Faith in Jesus

‘British values’ won’t hack it.

Only a return to the laws of God, faith in Jesus Christ and being filled with the Holy Spirit can and will defeat the twin antichristian ideologies of Secularism and Islam.

As was shown to the Apostle John in his Revelation:
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Prayer

Pray with me: Lord Jesus, will you raise up God-fearing men with enough humility to seek your face, and Lord, send your grace to convict Luciana, Henry, Emma, OK, Michelle and the supporters of Tommy Robinson, and for that matter the activist himself and all who care about this land and its people of their sin and their need for the forgiveness and the saving, spiritual power of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

How I completed the Islamophobia form

The East London Mosque - the Daily Mirror claimed 50% of British Muslims support Islamic State.

This ‘Consultation’ has now closed. The deadline was Sunday 20th July. But you can still pray, sign our petition, and be encouraged with how I (and maybe you) completed the ‘Islamophobia/Anti-Muslim Hatred Definition Working Group – call for evidence’.

We begin with the questions then I show you what I answered below. How each of us responds depends on our individual composition. The Lord can and will use each of us, from the brash to the introspective. You should give your own answers, not repeat mine. Mine might start thought processes going. The only ‘correct’ answers are those I give to questions 8, 10, and 12, which is in each case: ‘No’ or ‘None of the above’.

The LINK is now dead. Instead you can Sign our Petition against ‘Islamophobia’ (and watch our video):

Q6. When referring to discrimination, prejudice, bigotry, hatred or violence directed at Muslims, which term do you think should be used? For instance, ‘Islamophobia’, ‘anti-Muslim hatred’, ‘anti-Muslim racism’, ‘anti-Muslim prejudice’, ‘Muslimophobia’ etc.
A6: Even asking for such a term is divisive and ridiculous.

Q7. Please tell us your reason for suggesting this term
A7: Asking for a definition to protect Muslims from legitimate criticism is going to backfire. Christians and Hindus are not asking for definitions of Christophobia or Hinduphobia.
Why? Because neither of them is engaged in violent jihad against the rest of the population, or asking for special favours such as sharia courts or halal food in schools and prisons, or forming rape gangs seeing indigenous girls as legitimate targets for rape, or calling for the expulsion of Jews from the Holy Land.
Government should not be appeasing Muslim demands in this constitutionally-Christian United Kingdom.

Q10. Do you think Anti-Muslim Hatred/Islamophobia is also a form of racism?
A10: No.

Q11. Please could you say more about why you think that?
A11: Islam started amongst pagan Arabs in the 7th Century, but Muslims soon demanded conquered people of all races submit to it. Today Islam is a politico/religious system with adherents of all races.
Christians believe there is only the human race, in which all are made in the image of God. It follows that people of all races are welcome in the United Kingdom so long as they recognise British culture and our Christian heritage and do not start to impose or demand a contrary religious culture.
Appeasing Muslims by forming a biased committee to impose an ‘Islamophobia’ definition and browbeat the rest of the population into silence is bound to backfire.
Indeed, it provides an opportunity to list the errors of Islam and the barbarity of many Muslims, not least in bombings, stabbings, rape gangs, etc.
We call on those who lead us to proclaim that Jesus Christ is King over this United Kingdom, end Muslim immigration and facilitate Muslims who wish to return to lands where Islam is established.

The Islamist Aldgate Bombing 7/7/05
The Islamist Aldgate Bombing 7/7/05

Indeed, this very fortnight we are remembering the 52 innocent victims of the 7th July 2005 London bombings, carried out by Islamic terrorists, and giving thanks to the Lord for miraculous deliverance from a further four Muslim bombers on 21st July 2005.
We recall subsequent car and knife attacks around Westminster and London Bridge, and the Manchester Arena atrocity where Muslim suicide bomber Salman Abedi killed 22 victims in 2017.
For too long the British establishment has covered up Islamic atrocity. In the most egregious example, poor, white, working-class British girls from broken family backgrounds were sacrificed on the altar of a false community cohesion to Muslim rape gangs.
The United Kingdom’s elites must reject the anti-Christian multicultural falsehood and return to our Christian constitution. It is written:
Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD;

Submit!

You have done a little thing that only you could do. Now you can pray, and watch the Lord do what only he can do!

Why do NHS staff hate our flags?

On Remembrance Day, 11th November 2025, I read that St George’s flags are creating “no-go zones” for NHS staff.

The Daily Telegraph reported ‘several NHS trust chief executives and leaders’ claiming that staff feel ‘intimidated by the presence of the flags across the country, including when they are visiting people in their own homes to give them treatment’.

OK, that may be reflecting no more than their own preconceptions and prejudices, because a poll of senior managers found 77 per cent, over three quarters of them, concerned, they said, about discrimination towards NHS staff from patients and the public.

Antisemitism of NHS staff

Evil: Dr Rahmeh Aladwan cannot stop her Islam-mandated hatred of Jews.
Evil: Dr Rahmeh Aladwan cannot stop her Islam-mandated hatred of Jews.

They don’t seem concerned about discrimination from NHS staff towards patients and the public, do they? I don’t notice any condemnation or even recognition of the discrimination and antisemitism on open display from Muslim doctors, nurses and staff wearing ‘free palestine’ badges. (See Surgeon struck off. Doctor Suspended. Nurse ‘antisemitic’. PostScript 28/11/25: Dr Rahmeh Aladwan has now been struck off, but only for 15 months, and promptly went on another antisemitic rant.)

Anyway, one trust leader, speaking anonymously, said there were particular difficulties for staff working in the community.

He or she said: “We saw during the time when the flags went up – our staff, who are a large minority of black and Asian staff, feeling deliberately intimidated.

“It felt like the flags were up creating no go zones. That’s what it felt like to them.”

Oppose Islamophobia Definition →

Spiritual problem with flags

Well, anonymous trust leader probably thinks he or she is making an argument against the display of our national and union flags. But in fact, he or she is actually saying that these foreign, or even UK-born, staff do not feel any affection to this host nation.

That they hate or despise, or feel uncomfortable with, British national symbols.

Or are they associating them with protests against current levels of illegal Muslim migration? It is that connection by which these staff feel ‘deliberately intimidated’? In which case this might not be so much of a racial problem with our flags as a religious one, a spiritual one even.

Could it be it is Muslim staff who feel the most uncomfortable with a flag with the cross of Jesus Christ, the King of kings, on it?

Christian heritage & constitution

That flag and the Union flag remind us of our Christian heritage, our Christian constitution, our historical background as a Christian nation. All of that is what we, that is all of us, should respect and honour.

It’s just like what the Bible says about the Jewish Passover:
Exod 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

You see how a nation has to know where it has come from.

The prophet Joel says this about a significant day:
Joel 1:3 Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.

No cohesion

King Charles lays a wreath in a Christian service at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday
King Charles lays a wreath in a Christian service at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday

That’s why we have Remembrance Sunday and Remembrance Day. The clue to the purpose of it is in the name.

And I venture that few of those who don’t care for our flags with the cross on them were found at a local remembrance Sunday service, or tuning in to watch the ceremony at the Cenotaph.

No nation can long survive if the people within it do not remember, honour and respect, even love, its heritage, its cultural symbols. There is no cohesion in a nation with a significant proportion of the population half-in-half-out.

Especially is there no cohesion in a nation wherein lie a significant proportion of the population who want to impose an alien faith and political system.

No-go zone for Jews

Jews were segregated in the face of Muslim intimidation at Villa Park
Jews were segregated in the face of Muslim aggression at Villa Park

And if an NHS trust leader voices concerns about ‘No-Go Zones’, what about the Muslim majority one around Villa Park Football Ground, which a football match has revealed is a no-go zone for Jews and those standing with them.

Going back to the NHS and both its staff and its staffing, obviously the nation’s health service should be training indigenous staff. I won’t go all holy and say that’s ‘wisdom’ but it’s surely common sense.

But there is obviously a problem which NHS trust leaders have identified with Muslim staff in this Christian nation which may turn up the very Jewish people their religion commands them to hate and destroy as patients.

Elite must turn to the Lord

So given that, and their disaffection with our nation and its Christian heritage, is it not looking increasingly as if this is their time to leave?

Pray into that, and pray for your MP, our king and those who bear rule in his name. May the Lord open their spiritual eyes to see this challenge as God sees it.

Scripture says:
Isa 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Our elite must turn back to him who alone can save us.

Illegal Migrants: blessing, threat, or judgment?

0

Nigel Farage has proposed the deportation of all who arrived unlawfully into the UK.
Nigel Farage has proposed the deportation of all those who arrived unlawfully to the UK.

The political debate over illegal migration has sharpened. Nigel Farage has proposed the deportation of all who arrived unlawfully, together with scrapping the human rights laws and treaties that block such action. The Conservatives also appear to be moving in that direction.

The Government, meanwhile, seems determined to carry on with minor adjustments. As for Sir Keir Starmer, he appears to be testing how far he can push the people before they rebel.

Yet as politicians weigh votes and treaties, a deeper question arises: What does God require of rulers when their nation’s safety is at stake? Scripture says Government is responsible to God:

Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

The Duty of Rulers

The Apostle continues:
Romans 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good… a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

That means King Charles and his ministers are Ministers of God. Maintaining law and order is why we pay them taxes, as Paul reminds us:

Romans 13:6 For this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

Yet many ordinary people doubt whether those in office are truly “attending continually” to the protection of women and girls in particular. The wave of protests, outside hotels housing migrants, free of charge, has been fuelled by reports of tyem committing crime and abuse. Claims, Counterclaims, and the Facts

The Socialist Workers Party and its allies—Stand Up To Racism, Unite Against Fascism, Hope Not Hate and Care4Calais, insist that “most people who come to Britain in a small boat are fleeing for their lives.”

They cite Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, Eritrea and Sudan beset by war. But the reality is different. There is no current war in Afghanistan, Iran or Eritrea. And even if some migrants were fleeing real danger, they were already safe in France. What they sought here was not safety but greater financial reward.

Scripture states the principle of unity under the law, and that law derives from a nation’s religious view, that is, from whatever it holds sacred. In Britain, as we were reminded on 6th May 2023, at His Majesty’s coronation, that is still the Christian faith, despite how far the elite have legislated against it:

Exodus 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

James 4:12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy:

For a nation to remain united, it must share one law under one God. It cannot stay cohesive if the ‘strangers that sojourneth’ want to impose a different god, a different law and different ‘customs’, for want of a better expression.

In other words, it cannot work in what Sir Keir Starmer described, in an unguarded moment, as ‘An island of strangers’.

A Growing Catalogue of Crime

Sir Keir Starmer appears to be testing how far he can push the people before they rebel.
Sir Keir Starmer appears to be testing how far he can push the people before they rebel.

The public is not blind. The protests began after a series of shocking crimes committed by those housed in asylum hotels.

Ethiopian Hadush Kebatu, staying at the Bell Hotel in Epping, was charged with sexual assault. He has now been convicted. Another Ethiopian, Tadi Alemeyeha, faces similar charges in Manchester.

Two Afghan men are being prosecuted for raping a 12-year-old girl in Nuneaton.

Tory spokesman Chris Philp reminded the House of Commons only last month that Louise, Baroness Casey said in her report on rape gangs that Afghans commit up to 20 times more sex offences than the UK average.

Of illegal immigrants housed in the asylum hotels, Mr Philp said: ‘The Sun found 339 charges in the last six months based on only half the hotels currently operated. The Mail on Sunday found 708 charges based on only a third of those hotels. Those crimes included multiple cases of rape, sexual assault, violence, theft and arson. An illegal immigrant in Oxford has been convicted of raping a 20-year-old woman in a churchyard.’

Mr Philp concluded: ‘A Sudanese man was convicted of strangling and attempting to rape a woman in a nightclub toilet in Wakefield.’

Alkali attacker was convicted criminal

He concentrated on asylum hotels, but Mr Philp could have mentioned migrant Abdul Shokor Ezedi, who perpetrated a horrific alkali attack on a young mother and her three-year-old daughter in south London last year. He had actually been convicted of a sex offence in 2018 but after three attempts was granted asylum.

Another Sudanese migrant was convicted of attempted rape in Wakefield. The figures reported by national newspapers show hundreds of charges in just a few months.

It is small wonder that ordinary people are furious. Yet the Government proposes merely to shift migrants from hotels to houses of multiple occupation, and to arrange a “one-in-one-out” deal with France. The Apostle Peter reinforced Paul’s statement of the duties of rulers to punish evildoers:

1 Peter 2:13-14 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme. Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

A Nation at the Crossroads

We are faced with two starkly different visions. Sir Keir Starmer sets his hopes on human rights conventions, multiculturalism and globalism.

Nigel Farage proposes deportation and the tearing up of seventy-year-old treaties. Yet even he must overcome the resistance of the civil service, the courts, and the entrenched establishment.

In truth, only God can protect this nation. The psalmist encourages us: Psalm 46:1,7 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

If our leaders trust him, the Lord will guard the land: Zech 9:8; And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.

Psalm 127:1 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

The Islamic influx may in fact be seen as God’s judgment on a nation that has turned away from him. Only repentance and the raising up of God-fearing men will restore our people.

Our Call to Prayer

Britain needs leaders of courage and faith, men willing to confess Christ, proclaim our Christian constitution, and govern with honesty and humility. Government “of the elite, by the elite, for the elite” as currently practised in our land must give way to government under God, for the benefit of the people.

So let us pray that the Lord will have mercy on us, raise up men of God to lead, and turn the tide. Let us resist violence and keep protest at the ballot box.

And let us remember that our hope is not in treaties, nor in politicians, but in Christ the King.

Convicted Islamist Murderer secures £240K Under ECHR Rules

Fuad Awale was transferred to a special separation unit for dangerous convicts after he and another convict ambushed a jail worker and threatened to kill him.

A convicted Islamist double murderer has been awarded £240,000 of public money after a High Court ruling found that his isolation in prison breached his human rights.

Fuad Awale, serving a life sentence for the execution-style killing of two teenagers in Milton Keynes, successfully claimed that being placed in solitary confinement following a hostage-taking incident caused him psychological harm.

The payout, agreed by David Lammy, Justice Secretary, includes £7,500 in compensation and more than £234,000 in legal costs following a High Court judgement which stated that: “there had been a significant degree of interference with the claimant’s private life”.

According to the Mail, Mr Lammy suggested in a letter dated 2 January 2026, that Ministers were considering changes in the law to prevent extremist criminals from using the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) as a “barrier to us protecting national security”.

“A sick joke”

Robert Jenrick, the Conservative Shadow Justice Secretary, who obtained details of the payout in a letter from Mr Lammy, branded the decision a “sick joke”.

He said: “Labour are cowing to terrorists and the human rights brigade. They must introduce emergency legislation to carve these monsters out of the ECHR immediately. If they don’t, we will as soon as Parliament returns.”

Facts behind the claim

Mr. Awale was segregated after ambushing a prison officer, holding a sharp object to his throat, and threatening to kill him, explicitly referencing his previous murders.

Prison authorities transferred him to a separation unit to protect staff and prevent radicalisation.

Nevertheless, he later argued that this security measure interfered with his private life under Article 8 of the ECHR, a claim the court upheld despite acknowledging the seriousness of his offences.

The court heard Mr. Awale previously asked to associate with one of the Islamic extremist killers of Fusilier Lee Rigby – but was denied the request due to “counter-terrorism concerns”.

He and an accomplice also demanded the release of Qatada, a hate preacher who had been facing deportation to Jordan to face terror charges, as well as Roshonara Choudhry, who stabbed Labour MP Stephen Timms in 2010.

Awale was sentenced to a minimum of 38 years in prison in January 2013 aged 25 after shooting Mohammed Abdi Farah, 19, and Amin Ahmed Ismail, 18, in the head in a Milton Keynes alleyway over a drugs dispute.

Romans 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good… but if thou do that which is evil, be afraid.

A familiar pattern in modern Britain

Tommy Robinson.SkyeNews-PA
Tommy Robinson.SkyeNews-PA

This case follows a growing pattern in which violent or extremist offenders use human rights law to challenge the consequences of their own actions.

Similar claims have been brought by dangerous prisoners seeking association with known terrorists, privileges denied on security grounds, or damages for conditions imposed to keep others safe.

Another case saw far-right activist Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (Tommy Robinson) who sought legal permission to challenge his segregation at HMP Woodhill on the basis of harm to his mental health, though the High Court refused permission, ruling the regime did not constitute a human-rights breach because it was imposed for his protection and prison safety.

A further example involves a convicted murderer at HMP Full Sutton who received thousands in taxpayer-funded legal aid to argue that restrictions on his access to facilities such as the gym and library violated his ECHR rights, prompting criticism from political figures that human-rights challenges can constrain prison governors’ ability to isolate radicalising inmates

Additionally, in Sahayb Abu v Secretary of State for Justice, a High Court judge found that extended segregation without adequate assessment of mental health needs breached protections against inhuman or degrading treatment, illustrating the judiciary’s willingness to apply human-rights protections even in terrorism-related confinement contexts

These cases collectively highlight growing judicial engagement with prisoner rights that sometimes limits how the state manages dangerous individuals, and feeds public debate over whether the human-rights framework adequately balances individual rights with public safety.

Again and again, the system appears more responsive to the grievances of offenders than to the trauma of victims or the safety of those tasked with guarding them.

Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

What direction is the UK taking?

The deeper question raised by this case is not merely legal but moral. Why should taxpayers fund compensation for a man who murdered two youths, took a prison officer hostage, and espoused extremist beliefs?

Public money intended for justice, rehabilitation, and public protection is instead diverted to reward claims brought by those who have shown utter contempt for life and law.

This inversion of priorities raises serious doubts about whether the state still understands its duty to protect the innocent before appeasing the guilty.

Isaiah 10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed.

The cost of human rights absolutism

British courts increasingly treat human rights as absolute entitlements, detached from responsibility or context.

In Awale’s case, segregation was imposed not as cruelty but as a proportionate response to extreme violence and credible terrorist risk. Yet the legal framework elevated the offender’s subjective distress above the objective need for prison safety and national security.

Justice becomes distorted when mercy is extended without truth, and compassion is applied without discernment.

Micah 6:8 What doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

What was left unsaid

Little has been said about the families of the two teenagers Awale executed, or about the prison officer who was pinned to a chair with a weapon at his throat.

Their suffering carries no financial remedy, no court-ordered acknowledgement. As ministers now suggest possible legal reforms to prevent extremists exploiting human rights law, the case stands as a stark warning: when the state prioritises the rights of the violent over the protection of the faithful and law-abiding, public confidence in justice is inevitably eroded.

Matthew 24:12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Christians will be aware of the Islamic month of Ramadan, but what is its ‘Night of Power’ all about? Ramadan began on the evening of Tuesday 17th Feb 2026 and will finish on Thursday 19th March. Laylat al-Qadr is expected on Monday 16th March 2026.

The word ‘Ramadan’ is derived from a root meaning ‘heat’. The original month of Ramadan was during the hottest part of the Arab year.

Ask us to come and speak at your church →

Moveable feast begins at sunset

These days, as the Arab calendar is 10 days shorter than the Gregorian, Ramadan has become literally a moveable feast. In 2019 its dates were 5th May to 4th June. Next year it will be begin on 8th February 2027 and end on 9th March. The ‘Month of Heat’ will actually take place over Christmas in 2032.

We are also aware that Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset during Ramadan and have a bit of a blowout after sundown. As it happens, Muslims probably eat more during Ramadan than at any other time. A lot of sheep-meat is consumed, especially during Eid al-Fitr, the last day of Ramadan.

Eid al-Fitr begins in the evening of Thursday 19th March (it marks the end of Ramadan) and finishes in the evening of Friday 20th March 2026. Muslim days follow the Middle-Eastern pattern of beginning at sunset the previous day (to us). So although Ramadan began in 2026 on 17th February, that was in the evening and was Wednesday 18th to them, in a manner of speaking. They will refer to each day by its Islamic date.

’Religion of works’ is deeply spiritual

We dismiss Islam as a ‘religion of works’ because of its insistence on ‘doing things’ rather than repentance and renewal. Muslims ‘do’ fasting. They ‘do’ alms and attend the mosque. They ‘do’ their ‘hajj’ or pilgrimage. We think that because it is a ‘religion of works’ there is no spiritual content or spiritual power to it. Nothing could be further from the truth. Each Muslim regards himself as first and foremost a spiritual being. A spirit world of jinn (spirits: angels or demons – hence the word ‘genie’), charms, divination, holy days, spiritual proclamations, blessings and curses are an everyday reality for Muslims.

For example, every time a Muslim speaks the shahada or cries it from a mosque five times a day, he proclaims and decrees that his god is the only one and that a certain 7th-century Arab trader was and is his only messenger.

You see how, even though I know the power of Jesus Christ to deliver from and nullify such a claim, I will not even give it air-time. How the angels of heaven must weep each time they hear that proclamation, in whatever language. How they must long to hear Christians audibly proclaim, ‘Jesus Christ is King of kings, to the glory of God the Father.’

Watch our nanosermon on the Power of Proclamation:

The prophet Isaiah declared and decreed:

Isa 40:5 … the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken.

Don’t offend the jinn!

Every Muslim believes a jinn sits on his right shoulder recording his good deeds, with another on the left, recording his bad deeds. That will be ‘good’ and ‘bad’ according to Islam, not Christianity. They are the ‘Noble Recorders’ and are referred to in the quran at Surah 50:17 and Surah 82:10-12. Whether a person is sent to Jannah (paradise) or Jahannam (hell/purgatory) is not, however, dependent on whether good deeds outweigh bad deeds. Everything depends on the mercy, so to speak, of Allah. Al-lah means, not ‘god’, but ‘the god’ and is pronounced with the emphasis on the second syllable.

Watch our video: Is Allah Almighty God:

Some Muslims believe two more jinn, the ‘followers’, attend him before and behind as guardian angels.

Muslims take the jinn very seriously. A Pakistan village installed a generator, to give light at night. Its operator suffered a stroke. He did recover, but the village elders decided they had offended the jinn because it was to the latter the night belonged. So they never ran the generator at night again. Once more, before you dismiss all that as just ‘superstition’ remember one man’s superstition is another’s spiritual reality. These things are real for Muslims. And which Christian does not acknowledge a spiritual realm?

Ramadan’s night of power

So we come to Ramadan’s night of power. The 27th day of Ramadan is Laylat al-Qadr (sometimes rendered Laylatul Qadr). It is also known as Shab-e-Qadr, and means Night of Decree or Night of Measures. Muslims regard it as the best, most powerful day of the whole year. They believe the first verses of the quran were revealed to Muhammed on this day in 610AD. For them, prayer made on this day is worth a lifetime of prayers at other times.

Muslim Aid say: ‘Ramadan, in its entirety, is a special time in Islam, but the last 10 nights hold greater significance as they include Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Power. … Allah (SWT) has made this a night of immense blessing and virtue.’

Although the 27th day of Ramadan is universally regarded in Islam as ‘the day,’ their founder was vague as to when it was. Many Muslims treat the whole last 10 days of the month of Ramadan as especially holy. We are already in those last ten days at this time of posting. Some will be up all night during them praying and reading the Koran. And they will definitely be doing that on Laylat al-Qadr.

Night of Decrees

Because Laylat al-Qadr is a night of decrees, we need to be aware of its ability to inspire Muslims to bless their own prosperity and that of the Islamic world in general, at the expense of the world of unbelievers. Indeed, to them, the latter is a ‘house of war,’ ‘Dar al Harb’. Muslims always decree favour on Dar al Islam at the expense of Dar al Harb.

It will be no surprise to find Muslims up all night actively cursing Jews and Christians on Laylat al-Qadr using particular koranic verses. They are also known to pay Imams to curse their enemies with a particular verse, or to write them out and conceal them on the enemy’s property at any time.

Therefore Laylat al-Qadr is an essential night for us to remember God’s promises to his people and to proclaim and decree those from the Bible.  Job was told, so long as he kept the ways of the Lord:

Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Every night from now until next Monday will be a good time to pray out loud:

Psalm 29:11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

We can of course pray such prayers and remind God of his holy word at any time. Nevertheless, this coming Monday night, 16th March, will coincide with Laylat al-Qadr. We pray against the evils of Halloween.  We can do the same here.  Just be aware.

IS attacks

Because Laylat al-Qadr is such a powerful day in the Islamic calendar, Muslim terrorists have traditionally regarded it as a good time to launch attacks.

According to an article on news.com.au, ‘Security agencies are expected to be on high alert for the last 10 days of Ramadan, particularly on the Night of Power … Muslims traditionally spend the night in prayer and devotion which is said to equate to 1000 months of proper worship. But the significance of the event has also made it a target for terror attacks.’

Security forces are aware of the threat during the whole of Ramadan, but Laylat al-Qadr is particularly dangerous. In 2017 Fox News reported: ‘Law enforcement officials around the world are on high alert this week as ISIS calls for a surge of civilian attacks during Islam’s “Night of Power,” the holiest day on the Islamic calendar.’

In its time Islamic State launched numerous Ramadan attacks, and we should be wrong to think their partial demise has brought such threats to an end. It may be their sleepers are now embedded across the world including in the United Kingdom. News.com.au also say: ‘Other Islamist groups including al-Qaeda and al-Shabaab have also used the holy month to inflict death and destruction on its enemies.’

May the Lord keep the city

So another focus for our prayer must be for our security forces to be given revelation of possible attacks and jihadist cells, for the bad guys to make mistakes and to pray for favour for those keeping us all safe. Pray for repentance for your nation, confessing your national sins, because we read:

Psalm 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Watch our video on how national security needs God’s blessing:

Even now, we can pray as Jeremiah told the captives in Babylon:

Jer 29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

London Bombings: Two Decades Since 7/7

Twenty years ago today, London was shattered by the most devastating terrorist attack in its modern history.

On the morning of Thursday 7th July 2005, four Islamist suicide bombers targeted the city’s transport network during rush hour.

Explosions ripped through three London Underground trains and a double-decker bus, killing 52 innocent people and injuring over 700 others.

Lives were cut short, families torn apart, and the capital was plunged into chaos. The attacks exposed not only the brutality of Islamist extremism but also how deeply embedded radical ideologies had become within Britain’s borders.

A Second Attack Thwarted by Prayer and Providence

Just two weeks later, on 21 July 2005, a second wave of attacks was attempted—but this time, the bombs failed to detonate.

What could have been another day of national mourning was narrowly avoided. Many Christian groups had taken to prayer vigils in the days after 7/7, crying out for mercy, protection, and divine intervention.

While security forces scrambled, it was prayer that many believe shielded the city. The attackers, though determined, were unsuccessful. The close timing and coordination of both attacks revealed just how vulnerable Britain had become.

Unless the Lord Keeps the City

Britain has developed world-class security forces, but in the end, human effort alone cannot preserve a nation from terror.

In a land increasingly dismissive of God and saturated in sin, divine protection is the only true safeguard.

Even with all our intelligence networks and surveillance, it is the unseen hand of God that ultimately determines whether evil is restrained or permitted to strike.

The Bible says,
Psalm 127:1 Psa 127:1  A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. (KJV)

‘Religion of Peace’

The aftermath of the 7th July bombings was the first time British politicians began to claim Islam was a ‘religion of peace’. At the following Prime Ministers Question Time, the Guardian reports Tony Blair telling the House of Commons: ‘This is not an isolated criminal act we are dealing with – it is an extreme and evil ideology whose roots lie in a perverted and poisonous misinterpretation of the religion of Islam.’

To this day it is not known what degree in the theology of Islam Mr Blair had gained to give him any authority to make such a claim. In fact, it was purely an assertion. It is difficult to find any evidence of race riots following the bombings, but Mr Blair went on to condemn them anyway:

He told the Commons: ‘Isn’t it the case that anyone who reaches out for a stone to throw at the window of a mosque, anyone who nurtures resentment against our Muslim community, is the enemy of all of us, because they would be acting the way terrorists want us to act – helping them to achieve their objective of dividing us one from another.’

Bombers’ stated aim

Curiously, this is exactly the same line as the Mayor of London, ‘Sir’ Sadiq Khan, came out with on GB News twenty years later. Earlier today (7th July 2025) he said we should all come together because the 7th July bombers ‘sought to divide us’.

But according to a statement from bomber Mohammad Sidique Khan broadcast subsequently by Al Jazeera on 1st September 2005, that is simply not the case. According to Wikipedia, ‘The perpetrators said they were responding to atrocities against Muslims committed by the west.’ A further statement from bomber Shehzad Tanweer was broadcast on 6th July 2006 by Al-Jazeera. In the video, Tanweer identified British action against the ‘Ummah’ or Muslim people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya and UK support of Israel against Muslims in ‘Palestine’ as reasons for the atrocity.

That understanding has been confirmed by a former head of police counter-terrorism. The Guardian reports: ‘Foreign policy was a driver behind the 7 July 2005 attacks on London’. … Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu said governments needed to accept that foreign policy, such as Britain’s stance on the Israel-Gaza war, could have a direct effect on domestic security.

‘Community Cohesion’

Assistant Comissioner Neil Basu
Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu

The answer, according to Mr Basu in 2019 was to recognise ‘police and security services are no longer enough to win the fight against violent extremism’. Instead, ‘the UK must improve community cohesion, social mobility and education.’ The flaw with that argument is that it depends on Muslims in Britain themselves wanting to be ‘cohesive’ and socially integrate with British society, and to prefer western-style education and learning about the beauty of ‘British values’ to studying the Koran.

The evidence from Muslim Pakistani communities in Bradford reveals a parallel society with its own values and with no intention of assimilating at all. Mr Basu’s dream is driven by nothing more than the elite’s sacred cow of multiculturalism.

Cohesion has to be built on shared values, and in a constitutionally Christian nation like the United Kingdom, our elite must recognise that only Jesus Christ can unite and save us. Secularism, Multiculturalism, vague aspirations are powerless in the face of assertive self-confident Islam.

A Pattern of Islamist Terror on British Soil

Indeed, since 7/7, Britain has endured more than a dozen Islamist atrocities. Among them are the murder of Fusilier Lee Rigby in 2013, many terror attacks in Westminster and on London Bridge, and the murder of David Amess MP in 2021.

The worst in terms of loss of life was when Islamist suicide bomber, 22-year-old Salman Abedi, blew himself up as people were leaving an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017. Abedi killed 22 people, including children. In Southport, only last year, Islamist terrorist Axel Rudakubana stabbed three small girls.

From Gangs to Lone Wolves: The Shifting Face of Terror

In the early days, jihadist plots often involved tight-knit groups radicalised in mosques or online forums.

But now, we are witnessing a move toward “lone wolf” attacks—individuals acting independently, sometimes with minimal planning or outside influence.

These self-radicalised actors are harder to track, less predictable, and often remain invisible to the usual indicators of extremism. The face of jihadism has become more fragmented—and more dangerous. From London to the Midlands, from cities to the seaside, the threat has seeped into the very fabric of our communities. Even Mr Basu says he feels less safe today.

Security Services Under Strain

While our police, MI5, and counterterrorism units work tirelessly, the evolving nature of the threat has outpaced even their sophisticated tools.

Intelligence is harder to gather, and threats are harder to predict. Crucially, even in 2005, the 7/7 bombers were not apprehended before their attack, despite being on the radar of security services.

Similarly, the 21/7 bombers were only caught after their failed attempt—not beforehand. This painful truth underscores a national vulnerability that has not been fully addressed.

A Call to National Repentance and Intercession

The stark reality is that our national sins—from the rejection of God’s laws to the celebration of moral rebellion—have left Britain spiritually exposed. We must urgently return to the truth of Psalm 127:1. Terrorism is not only a political or security problem; it is a spiritual crisis.

Without repentance and collective prayer for mercy, the foundations of our safety will continue to erode. The solution is not merely stronger surveillance, but a revival of righteousness in the land.

A Danger We Imported—and Still Welcome

Let us not ignore the elephant in the room: the ideology that fuels these attacks has been imported through illegal immigration and asylum policies that fail to distinguish between the truly persecuted and those who carry hostility to Western freedoms.

The ongoing Channel crossings, bringing thousands of undocumented migrants—mostly young men of fighting age—raise deep concerns.

In the name of compassion, we have allowed a dangerous naivety to govern our borders. We have imported honour killings, cousin marriage, female genital mutilation and the systematic grooming and rape of poor, indigenous, working-class girls. On top of that, we are daily importing an Islamist threat, a slow-burn invasion.

A Wake-Up Call, Not Just a Memorial

Prince Charles at the dedication of the 7th July 2025 Memorial in Hyde Park in 2009.
Prince Charles at the dedication of the 7th July Memorial in Hyde Park in 2009.

On this 20th anniversary of 7/7, let us do more than remember. Let us repent, pray, and re-evaluate.

For unless the Lord keeps the city—no amount of MI5 briefings, CCTV cameras, or Prevent strategies will be enough.

May this be a turning point, not just a memorial.

Jihadist set to be UK councillor

1

A convicted terrorist who once praised jihad as an act of “compassion” is standing for election to Birmingham City Council, raising grave concerns about the direction of local politics and the standards now being tolerated in public life.

The Daily Mail reports that, Shahid Butt, who is standing as an independent candidate in the Sparkhill ward at May’s local elections, previously served a five-year prison sentence in Yemen for terrorism offences. He and five other UK nationals were convicted in 1999 of plotting to bomb the British consulate, an Anglican church, and a hotel in Aden.

Despite this background, Mr Butt has since worked on the Home Office’s Prevent programme and sat on the West Midlands Anti-Terrorism Steering Committee, an extraordinary fact that will alarm many who expect those roles to be reserved for individuals with unimpeachable records.

Sparkhill is an inner-city ward with a population that is around 91 per cent ethnic minority, with almost 70 per cent identifying as Muslim.

Support NCCSS / Christian Voice →

Maccabi Tel Aviv’s involvement

Serious concerns are compounded by Mr Butt’s more recent public statements.

He has supported protests against Israeli football club Maccabi Tel Aviv and urged “every local Muslim” to attend demonstrations in Birmingham last November.

While he told attendees not to bring weapons, footage from one protest shows him declaring:“Muslims are not pacifists, if somebody comes into your face, you knock his teeth out.”

In a 2024 YouTube interview, Mr Butt described violent jihad abroad as an act of “compassion,” suggesting that those who travel to fight in foreign conflicts are motivated by sympathy rather than extremism.

It is therefore deeply troubling that a Muslim man with a past conviction for terrorism now feels able to stand for public office after making such statements, particularly in a historically Christian nation. Were the situation reversed, and a Christian candidate had publicly spoken in this manner about Muslims, it is difficult to imagine that such a candidacy would be tolerated.

Britain remains a Christian country in its heritage, values, and foundations. As such, we stand for peace, love, and righteous leadership, principles wholly incompatible with rhetoric that excuses violence or promotes religious hostility.

Psalm 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Could Britain’s diversity be a curse?

The question of whether Britain’s celebrated diversity could be turning into a societal challenge is becoming more widely debated.

On the one hand, the UK has long positioned itself as a multicultural nation where people of every faith and background can participate fully in civic life. But recent developments have prompted serious reflection on whether that diversity is fostering social cohesion or, in some cases, fragmentation.

One key area of concern is the influence of religious identity in political representation. Across the UK there has been a notable rise in the number of Muslim political leaders and elected officials. For example, Sadiq Khan has served as Mayor of London since 2016 and continues to win re-election, and figures from Muslim backgrounds have attained mayoral roles in other towns such as Brighton & Hove and Blackburn with Darwen in recent years.

In September 2024, A Muslim councillor in Leeds, Mothin Ali was elected joint deputy leader of the Green Party. During his victory speech, Mr. Ali labelled his election a “win for the people of Gaza” before shouting “Allahu Akbar”, meaning “God is the greatest” in Arabic. He later apologised for “any upset” caused.

This political participation simply reflects demographic change and the right of all communities to be represented. However, when political leadership or decision-making roles are occupied by figures whose primary appeal is religious or communal, it can weaken shared national identity and blur commitment to foundational British values.

Exodus 18:21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

Godly leadership requires the fear of God,commitment to truth, moral integrity, rejection of corruption and violence.

A man who praises jihad, excuses extremist fighters, and advocates physical retaliation does not meet these biblical qualifications.

Psalm 140:1 Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man.

What is Britain becoming?

The prospect of a convicted terrorist standing for public office is not merely a local controversy, it is a symptom of national decline.

It reflects a country increasingly reluctant to defend its Christian foundations, increasingly tolerant of radical ideologies, and increasingly confused about the difference between compassion and chaos.

Multiculturalism without moral boundaries does not lead to harmony. It leads to fragmentation.

If Britain is to have a future worth passing on to the next generation, it must recover a clear moral vision, one rooted not in political correctness, but in biblical truth.

As Christians, we must pray, speak, and act:

Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

Is Islamophobia ban a gift to criminals and extremists?

0
The UK's take-away food trade is now dominated by Muslim 'Halal' outlets, happy to take money from 'unbelievers'.

Warnings are mounting against government’s determination to impose an official definition of so-called “Islamophobia.”

A senior King’s Counsel (KC) and government adviser has already cautioned that such a definition would hinder police investigations into Muslim offenders.

And, writing in The Times, Shadow Equalities Minister Claire Coutinho warned that Labour’s plan would risk shutting down debate about the grooming gangs scandal, giving cover to abusers rather than justice to victims.

So, is Islamophobia ban a gift to criminals and extremists?

Petition: Oppose the
Islamophobia Definition →

The Term “Islamophobia” in Britain

The moment we use “Islamophobia” as though it were a neutral term, we concede ground. This word was crafted not to protect Muslims from injustice, but to shield Islam itself from critique. It classifies any disagreement with Islam as irrational fear, thus silencing serious debate.

The Labour Party adopted internally the APPG definition in March 2019, which describes Islamophobia as “rooted in racism … a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness.”

Under that definition, any critique of Muslim doctrine or practice could be branded Islamophobia. Criticism of grooming gangs, of extremist ideology, of Sharia influences—any such criticism risks being labelled Islamophobic under this regime.

In fact, the APPG definition has already met resistance on grounds of civil liberties.Unfortunately, government’s plan threatens that liberty.

2 Corinthians 13:8 We can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth

Further, an open letter warns it would stifle legitimate criticism and investigation.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free.

When Silence Costs Lives

We need only recall the grooming scandals to see what happens when the truth is buried under fear. For years, authorities knew what was happening but were afraid to act. Many perpetrators were Pakistani Muslims; those who raised concerns were accused of racism. The result: children were abused, victims silenced.

A National Audit on Group-based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse commissioned by government laid bare the systemic failures. The government itself admitted this cowardice, reopening more than 800 cases for review.

If today we formalise a definition that labels criticism of Islam as potentially unlawful, we are binding the hands of future investigators. Police, social workers, journalists will fear the accusation of Islamophobia before they begin any inquiry. That is moral cowardice enshrined.

Ephesians 5:11 Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Britain Slipping Toward Blasphemy Laws

We already see hints of blasphemy by stealth. During Parliament, an MP demanded prohibition on desecration of “holy texts” and prophets—thinly veiled references to the Koran. Keir Starmer agreed, pledging to “tackle Islamophobia in all its forms.”

Such protections for “holy texts” exist in many Islamic states, under pain of imprisonment or worse. Britain flirting with the same spirit is no small thing.

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

If we enshrine Islamophobia, we hand the state power to punish “offense” to Islam, not justice. It is the very essence of blasphemy law by legislation, dressed in civility.

Courts Show Partiality

The courts have already shown how biased the system can become when Islam is involved. In one shocking case, Moussa Kadri violently attacked Coskun with a knife. He threatened to kill him and kicked him while he lay on the ground. Yet the court spared him jail.

Meanwhile, Mr. Coskun, whose “crime” was burning a Koran—was fined £240. The Telegraph noted how such double standards undermine faith in equal justice.

Proverbs 20:10 God’s word condemns unequal law. “Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the LORD.

The Only Safe Foundation

This government may think this move is clever politics. But the long-term consequences will be disastrous. Labour will alienate Sikhs, Hindus, Christians, and secular Britons alike.

The grooming gang reports already show what happens when authorities give way to cultural sensitivity at the expense of truth.

The Casey Report was commissioned for this reason and forced Labour into a U-turn on inquiries.

The Psalmist declares:

Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD. That is the sure foundation. To legislate Islamophobia is to bless a false god at the expense of the true.

Why there is a ‘Problem with Muslims’

Sir Keir Starmer at Prime Minister's Questions on 17th March 2026
Sir Keir Starmer at Prime Minister’s Questions on 18th March 2026

The Guardian reports that Sir Keir Starmer has claimed the Tory party has a ‘Problem with Muslims’ after their justice spokesman called an Islamic public prayer event an ‘act of domination’.

Take a look at Prime Minister’s Questions (18/03/2026) on the Parliament Channel:
1 Keir denouncing Nick Timothy at 6:57-7:24.
2 Kemi responding that Nick Timothy is standing for ‘British Values’ at 7:37-7:45.
3 Keir: ‘Tories have a Muslim problem’ at 10:30-10:35.

I wonder if Sir Keir has made a mistake in demonstrating his tin ear to growing public disquiet over Muslims and Islamic ambition in this United Kingdom.

But of course Labour has its own ‘Muslim Problem’, which is that they are deserting in droves to the Antichrist Green Party. Watch our video on Rumble:

The truth and the Christian response

London Mayor 'Sir' Sadiq Khan at the Trafalgar Square Iftar.
London Mayor ‘Sir’ Sadiq Khan at the Trafalgar Square Iftar.

Nick Timothy MP was objecting not just to Muslim prayers but to the ‘ADHAN’, the call to prayer, at an open IFTAR, or fast-breaking, event supported and attended by London’s Muslim mayor Sadiq Khan in Trafalgar Square on Monday 19th March 2025. (0:13-0:38)

That Monday was also Ramadan’s Night of Power, Laylat al-Qadr, in which Muslims use verses from the Koran to curse Jews and Christians. We have already reported on that HERE

The ‘ADHAN’ is not a prayer, it’s a declaration. It claims there is no god except ‘Allah’ and that a certain 7th-century Arab trader was his prophet. Bear in mind Allah is NOT Almighty God, the foundation of our Christian heritage and constitution:

Jesus Christ is Lord!

In the Koran, Allah goes out of his way to deny he has ever had a son. We should take Allah at his word when he says it would be beneath his dignity to humble himself and become one of us.

But that is what God did in the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of kings. As it is written in the Bible, Christ Jesus:

Phil 2:7 … made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: (KJV)
Phil 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Phil 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Phil 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Phil 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Muslims deny Christ’s divinity

Nick Timothy MP (second from right) at PMQ's on 18/03/2026
Nick Timothy MP (second from right) at PMQ’s on 18/03/2026

All that is what Muslims deny, and their denial is written around the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. It is indeed the Bible’s ‘Abomination of Desolation’. It is clear that Nick Timothy understands this.

His full post on X read: “Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination.
“The Adhan – which declares there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger – is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination.
“Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions.
“And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals.
“I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook.
“Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation.
“Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division.
“It shouldn’t happen again.”

’Useful idiots’ call division ‘Diversity’

The Iftar in Trafalgar Square on Monday 16th March 2026, Ramadan's 'Night of Power'
The Iftar in Trafalgar Square on Monday 16th March 2026, Ramadan’s ‘Night of Power’

It seems Islam, like Communism, has its ‘useful idiots’, and our Establishment is full of them. In the Commons, Sir Keir went on to wheel out ‘Diversity’ Prime Minister’s Questions 10:04-10:23:

“When I see religious events in Trafalgar Square, when I see Hindus celebrating Diwali, when I see Jews celebrating Chanukah live, when I see Christians performing the Passion of the Christ, or Muslims praying, that shows the great strength of our diverse city and country.”

Well, the last time Jews celebrated Chanukah in public, on Bondi beach in Australia, they were massacred by two Muslim gunmen. Murderous antisemitism is written into the Muslim scriptures. Clearly, Muslims cannot co-exist with Jews. See our report HERE.

Kemi stands by Nick Timothy

Muslim Women ion Islamic dress praying separately from the men in Trafalgar Square.
Muslim Women in Islamic dress praying separately from the men in Trafalgar Square.

The BBC reports a spokesman for Kemi Badenoch saying she stood by Nick Timothy, adding this:
“People are free to practise their faith but that practice does not require exclusionary use of our shared civic spaces. That is not about worship. It becomes something else which undermines social cohesion. So that is where we draw the line. And that is what Nick Timothy was talking about.”

And as usual, Muslim women prayed separately from the men, in Muslim dress. And their dress code itself makes a visible spiritual and political point.

The spokesman denied the Conservatives were singling out one religion, saying: “The Conservatives had the first Muslim chancellor and had the first Muslim home secretary.”

Singling out Islam

Be that as it may, but you may be drawn to conclude that it is about time our leaders DID single out the religion of Islam before it is too late to stop its programme of domination in our land. I’m all for freedom of religion, until the followers of one particular religion, which denies the true faith on which our nation was built, starts to mount a takeover.

Our leaders will first need the spiritual discernment to recognise that threat. In response, as an essential first step, they will need to proclaim the King of kings and to state that our Christian foundation is non-negotiable.

That is essential because this is a spiritual, or if you like, a religious challenge, which they will not be able to rise to in their own strength. They will need the wisdom and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Replace the secularists and multiculturalists!

So pray for the Lord to replace the secularists and multiculturalists in the corridors of power with able, honest, humble, God-fearing men of truth.

I won’t lie to you, they had me fooled.

When those three little girls, Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, aged just nine, were murdered at the Hart Space dance class in Southport on 29th July this year, material quickly circulated on Social Media to the effect that the perpetrator was a Muslim illegal immigrant.

Then the authorities revealed that the killer, one Axel Rudakubana, seen and identified by those who observed it all, was born in Cardiff to Rwandan parents.

In Rwanda, Christians form almost 94 percent of the population. I reasoned the statistical chance of this killer being a Muslim was tiny.

Southport stabbing suspect, Axel Rudakubana, as a young boy, as printed in the Daily Mirror
Southport stabbing suspect, Axel Rudakubana, as a young boy, as printed in the Daily Mirror

Indeed, the Mirror had a description of him as a ‘quiet choir boy’ from ‘a family heavily involved in the local church’.
So I was putting him down as someone who for some strange reason had become a psychopath.

Twitter ‘misinformation’

What was on Twitter, I thought, was misinformation. And that was what they wanted me to think.

The ‘misinformation’, as it was dubbed, sparked the August protests objecting to Muslim illegal immigration, which led to men being sentenced to long stretches in prison for shouting at policemen, and women banged up for repeating the allegations on Twitter, while judge Conor Burns allowed a Muslim man who seriously assaulted three young women in Bradford to walk free from court in the summer’s display of unbiblical two-tier justice.

UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Home Secretary Yvette Cooper (r) knew Axel Rudakubana was an Islamic terrorist from the start.
UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Home Secretary Yvette Cooper (r) knew Axel Rudakubana was an Islamic terrorist from the start.

Now, three months later, it turns out that at least part of what was described as misinformation was true and that the authorities knew that all the time.

The killer, we have to say alleged killer, because despite the evidence of eye-witnesses Rudakubana has not yet been convicted, or even come to trial, is now revealed as an Islamic terrorist after all. He’s been charged with terrorism offences.

Al Qaeda training manual

Axel Rudakubana - as he is today
Axel Rudakubana – as he is today

Three months after searching his home, the authorities now admit they found he downloaded an Al Qaeda training manual.

The Telegraph reports that biological ricin poison was also discovered at Axel Rudakubana’s home during a search in early August.

There is no way this is a plant by the police. The last thing the establishment wanted was to have to admit to an Islamic connection to the Southport murders.

This information has been dragged out of them. Even now, those in office are trying to downplay it.

The Guardian quotes Dr. Renu Bindra from the UK Health Security Agency, emphasising there was ‘no evidence’ of exposure to ricin for first responders, the public, or anyone at Hart Space. She said its experts assessed the risk to the wider public as “low”.’

Axel Rudakubana was seen to murder three little girls. He injured eight other children and two adults. But you can count yourself reassured that the risk to the wider public of the ricin he had made was ‘low’.

Sacred Cow of Multiculturalism

David Spring: jailed for 8 months for shouting at policemen.
David Spring: jailed for 8 months for shouting at policemen.

Here’s the Prophet Jeremiah talking about our leaders:
Jer 6:13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
Jer 6:14b … saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

Those who raised misgivings about unfettered Muslim immigration were right to do so. They cared, yet neither Sir Keir Starmer nor his Home Secretary Yvette Cooper would discuss the matter. Why? Because even to admit it’s an issue would offend their cherished idea, their sacred cow of anti-Christian multiculturalism.

Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln

The Lord Jesus assured us, whlie critising hypocrisy in leadership:
Luke 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

Stuff is going to come out, but our leaders hope that by the time it does, people will have forgotten their initial anger and the public disquiet will have gone off the boil.

Abraham Lincoln is reported to have said:
“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.”

Discussion banned in Parliament

Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle: banned all discussion of Southport
Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle: banned all discussion of Southport

All discussion of Southport and questions about when Keir Starmer and Yvette Cooper knew the perpetrator was indeed a Muslim terrorist is now even banned in the House of Commons, on the spurious grounds of securing a fair trial and justice, such as it is, without the death penalty, for the families.

Those in office dread the day when Axel Rudakubana comes to trial and is convicted.

There will be street protests from those people who cannot be fooled and have not fooled themselves, a further category of persons President Lincoln did not address.

The Bible says:
Prov 19:1 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

Pray the Lord will raise up God-fearing men of truth and integrity, leaders who do not despise this nation, its Christian heritage, its people, but rather respect and cherish it and them.

Rwanda and Rochdale – what’s the connection?

Illegal Migration by boat across the English Channel

What is the connection between Rwanda and Rochdale? The House of Lords has begun its look at the Government Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill. Meanwhile, the Labour Party have disowned their candidate for the Rochdale by-election, due to be held on Thursday twenty-ninth of February 2024. Furthermore, should Labour return to power, penning an article like this, or posting the video below, could become a crime . Read on to find out, or view our video:

Rwanda debates

The link is a religion followed by almost a quarter (24%) of the world’s population. But such is the fear any discussion of it provokes, noble lords have failed to mentioned Islam in any of their debates on the government Rwanda Bill so far.

Nevertheless, it is beyond dispute that the majority of migrants crossing the Channel are Muslim. Naturally, peers prefer the word ‘refugee’ over ‘migrant’ by a factor of ten to one.

Peers, including the Archbishop of Canterbury, have put down amendments which would have the effect of neutering the Bill. As is customary, they have not yet pressed any of them to a vote. That will happen at Report Stage or Third Reading. Follow the Bill’s progress here.

Rochdale candidate disowned

Azhar ALi
Azhar Ali: antisemitic

The Rochdale ex-Labour candidate is a Muslim career politician, Azhar Ali. He started off as a government advisor under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. The Establishment gave Mr Ali, then Labour leader of Lancashire County Council, an OBE for ‘services to the community’ just three years ago.

But Azhar Ali told a meeting of the Lancashire Labour Party towards the end of last year that Israel allowed the slaughter of their own people on 7th October 2023. He said: “The Egyptians are saying that they warned Israel 10 days earlier… Americans warned them a day before [that] there’s something happening… “They deliberately took the security off, they allowed… that massacre that gives them the green light to do whatever they bloody want.”

Mr Ali also spoke up for Labour’s suspended Andy McDonald MP, blaming “people in the media from certain Jewish quarters”. It was then that Keir Starmer disowned him

Pressure on infrastructure

In their debates so far, Peers have shown themselves uninterested in the pressure of unfettered migration on infrastructure. That’s not just the hotels and barges to accommodate alleged refugees, but the NHS, schools, social services, everything.

Housing Minister Lee Rowley MP has said planning laws have to be eased because of the pressure record immigration is putting on the availability of housing. Despite the housing shortage, the Home Office is paying for 16,000 homes for asylum seekers.

In addition, the economic case for mass migration, let alone illegal migration, has collapsed. Writing in the Daily Telegraph, Sam Ashworth-Hayes tells of ‘massive surges in investment needed just to keep pace with the influx of new arrivals’ as well as ‘increasing conflict between communities with radically different visions of what the country should be.’  The Institute for Fiscal Studies has done work on this. (Worth a listen).

Muslims in our society

Atiqul Hoque: antisemitic

But even more concerning is the effect of Muslims on our society. Azhar Ali was, is, part of the establishment. Yet he is now exposed as anti-Semitic. But it’s not just Labour.

The Tory Muslim mayor of Salisbury, now expelled from that party, Atiqul Hoque, blamed the Jews for the death of Jesus. The Metropolitan Police had an advisor on a strategic advisory body, a prominent mosque chairman, Mohammed Kozbar, who praised the founder of Hamas.

A senior Muslim Judge, Tanweer Ikram, freed three women displaying parachute images at a pro-Palestine protest earlier this month. It has emerged he liked a social media post referring to Israelis as terrorists.

Muslim doctor Mennah Elwan, a neurologist in Liverpool, claimed ‘there are no civilians in Israel’ shortly after the October attacks. A BBC Muslim Apprentice contestant, Asif Munaf, posted antisemitic comments about Israel. Cricketer Aseem Rafiq, who accused Yorkshire Cricket Club of racism, admitted to antisemitic comments. Fellow cricketer Moeen Ali, who plays for England, posted the Hamas flag on Instagram. These are mainstream, moderate Muslims.

Hatred of Jews paraded

Hasidic Jews in London face antisemitism daily.
Hasidic Jews in London face antisemitism daily.

We are seeing hatred of Jews paraded on our streets by Muslims, and leftists, on a weekly basis since last October, glorifying the Hamas attacks. Anti-Semitism has hit an all-time high in what is described as an ‘explosion of hatred’ against British Jews.

Why do Muslims routinely come out with all this antisemitism? It is because genocide of Jews is a Muslim article of faith. The Hadith, part of the Islamic scriptures alongside the Koran, have rocks and trees crying out for Muslims to come and kill Jews hiding behind them. It’s repeated in the Hamas Covenant:

‘Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla (servant of Allah), there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.’ (Hamas Covenant 1988 Article 7 quoting the Hadith of Ibn Umar.)

Labour’s blasphemy law

Fears are growing that Labour might extend their ‘Islamophobia’ policy into a Muslim blasphemy law in woke clothing. They adopted a Muslim-designed definition of ‘Islamophbia’ in 2019, along with the Liberal Democrats and the Scottish and Welsh Nationalists. The Party’s policy on ‘Islamophobia’ (worth a look) includes this example of ‘prejudice or hostility based on the protected characteristic of Islam’:

‘Accusing Muslims of being a “fifth column” or of lying or acting in ‘stealth’, and/or implying a Muslim, or Muslims in general, are inherently antisemitic, homophobic and/or misogynist.’

If their policy became law, it would almost certainly become an offence to quote the antisemitic Hadith above, let alone explain what it means. It would be illegal to talk about Muslim grooming gangs. But there would certainly be a reaction. The Labour Party say they are concerned about ‘far-right political groups’. Yet nothing would set ordinary people against Muslims more than censorship of views about Islam. Christian activists and free-speech advocates will be racing to see who can be the first to challenge such a law.

Muslim attitude to women

Nine of the Rochdale Grooming Gang were convicted
Nine of the Rochdale Grooming Gang were convicted

Then there is the attitude of Muslims towards women. Rochdale was where just one of the UK Muslim grooming gangs operated. News report.

Sky reports that four boys, aged between 14 and 12, have been arrested on suspicion of the rape of a young girl in a Rochdale supermarket car-park. The police won’t disclose their nationality, let alone their religion. They are under-age, but when the police hide those details we know something is up.

The fact is, our establishment will not acknowledge anything wrong with Islam or any problem from Muslim immigration as such. The mantra that ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ that ‘extremists have hijacked for violent ends’ has been going on since the attack on the Twin Towers in September 2001. No-one in the House of Lords will be rocking that boat. The only UK politician who has proposed: ‘a national strategy for defeating Islamism, and eradicating it in public life’, is Reform’s Richard Tice.

State must protect citizens

Major General Julian Thompson (RM, Retired)
Major General Julian Thompson (RM, Retired)

Yet a group of senior retired military officers, led by Major-General Julian Thompson (RM, Retired) have written to the Secretary of State for Defence to warn Mr Shapps against a proposal from the Army to dilute security vetting in order to boost representation of ethnic minorities. They say: ‘With Islamism and other extremism rampant, this is nothing short of dangerous madness.’

The prospect of sleeper jihadists crossing the Channel was not expressed at all in the House of Lords debates and is never articulated by government. It’s an obvious defence to the human rights argument.

The state has a God-given duty to protect its citizens and every Muslim is a potential threat to national security and for that matter to young girls in care. To our Jewish population, it has become clear that every Muslim is a very real threat. In the book of Romans, we read that rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. The point could easily be made if the elite were not in denial and in thrall to the pretence of ‘multiculturalism’ and ‘community cohesion’.

Bishops in the Lords

Archbishop of Canterbury speaking from the bishops' benches in the House of Lords
Archbishop of Canterbury speaking from the bishops’ benches in the House of Lords

Bishops in the House of Lords have been at the forefront of wanting to scupper the Rwanda plan. The only reason Bishops are sat in the House of Lords is because this United Kingdom has a Christian constitution. Yet that too will be under threat should Muslims reach a tipping point in the population.

Bishops should know that in Bible times migrants accepted the spiritual foundation of wherever they found themselves. They did not start agitating for another god (and Allah is a different god) if they knew what was good for them.

In fact, the serious accusation that the early Christians were preaching ‘another king, one Jesus’, was levelled against the apostles in Thessalonica. They were smart enough neither to confirm nor deny the point, but the local believers swiftly evacuated Paul and Silas.

What result in Rochdale?

George Galloway in Rochdale
George Galloway in Rochdale

We shall see what the Lord will do in the Rochdale by-election on Thursday. The population of the constituency was 19% Muslim in 2021 and that figure is rising. If they all turn out and vote for George Galloway that could be interesting.

Strangely, much of what George Galloway stands for is on the side of the angels. He is pro-life, anti-woke, sticks up for workers and opposes climate fanaticism.

Sadly, it is what particularly endears him to Rochdale’s Muslims and leftists, his opposition to Israel, frankly indistinguishable from blatant antisemitism, which puts him beyond the pale for anyone with a heart for the Jewish people and the state of Israel itself.

Our leaders ignore the Lord

As for the United Kingdom, all our problems stem from our leaders ignoring the Lord. That is why they believe in absurdities like gender reassignment, the net zero stupidity, the 2020 lockdown, multiculturalism and diversity before defence, among many others.

The Bible says in too many places to count that wisdom depends on the fear of the Lord and that there is nothing better than wisdom and understanding.

There is so much wrong in our land, but the Lord Jesus said, ‘seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.’

Let them repent of their arrogance, of their political correctness, of their absurdities, seek the Lord in humility, return this land to our Christian foundation and proclaim, indeed, we should all proclaim, ‘Jesus Christ is Lord and King to the glory of God the Father.’

Mosques mean criminality

30
Mosque being built in Reading
Mosque being built in Reading

New figures for the  numbers of Muslims in prison have revealed the shocking connection between Islam and criminality.

Despite being less than 5% of the population at the time of writing, Muslims represented 12 percent (9795) of the prison population in England and Wales in 2008, according to the latest available figures.

Muslim gangs are running many prisons, according to a BBC report.  In high security prisons, Muslim percentages are well above average.   In 2008, Muslim prisoners accounted for 34 percent of prisoners in HMP Whitemoor, in Cambridgeshire, and about 24 percent of inmates in HMP Long Lartin, in Worcestershire.

Ironically, Muslim criminals enforce a strict Islamic code in many of our prisons: people can be beaten up for eating pork or listening to western music.  Inmates are being recruited into Islam and Muslim lags are being radicalised.

Britain is not alone: In Belgium the figure is 16% (12.8% Moroccans, 3.1% Turks) (EUMAP), 35% (NEWS) in Denmark 20% (NEWS).  French prisons have between 50% and 70% Muslims (NEWS, NEWS, NEWS) whilst in Norway the figure is over 30% (NEWS) and in Spain 70% (NEWS).  Not even Switzerland escapes, with 57.8% Muslims in Champ-Dollon prison alone (Champ-Dollon PDF).  See HERE for the source of that information and more figures.

“The connection between criminality and Islamism is very tight in Europe,” said Michael Radu, a terrorism analyst at the Foreign Policy Research Institute.  See Islamic radicalization feared in Europe’s jails.

Now it’s very hard for us in these islands, with our strong Christian heritage, to get into our minds that a mosque in an area can promote criminality. We are used to religion being a force for good. It’s a real scandal when a priest is caught molesting a choir-boy, a vicar committing adultery or a pastor failing to account for funds. People say they expect better from a Christian and they are right. The example of Jesus Christ leads Christians to peace and to keeping the law.

You don’t find Christians in prison for running illegal betting syndicates, manufacturing drugs, organising prostitution rackets, using violence to protect their interests.  But it is not at all out of the ordinary for Muslims to be involved in these activities. You can do all of that and still be a ‘good Muslim’. Sadly, the example of Mohammed, who according to the Islamic scriptures was a brigand, a murderer, a torturer, a slave-owner and a rapist, who changed the rules to suit himself and taught his followers to lie in the cause of Islam leaves plenty of scope.  See HERE

That is why the building of a mosque will lead to an increase in criminality in an area.  Radicalisation does not just bring the threat of terrorism, it brings the prospect of protection rackets and prostitution for the reason that Muslims – and radical Muslims in particular – despise non-Muslims and the indigenous population of the land.  We are viewed as fair game to be plundered for the increase of Islam, whilst young un-attached non-Muslim females are seen as little more than the booty of war.

The disturbing reality of Muslim gangs grooming non-Muslim girls was exposed earlier this year.  We shall return to this topic which gives added impetus to our prayer against the proposed ‘megamosque’ in West Ham.

Migrant who murdered wife can stay in UK over ‘blood feud’ claim

A Turkish migrant who murdered his 23-year-old wife in 2005, has been allowed to remain in the UK while an immigration tribunal considers his claim that he would face a “blood feud” if deported to Turkey.

The 54-year-old known as KD, who served 14 years for stabbing his wife multiple times in a jealous rage, initially entered the UK illegally in 2001 and claimed asylum on the basis of his Kurdish ethnicity, Alevi faith, and political affiliation.

KD’s asylum claim was repeatedly rejected. After his release from prison, the Home Office sought to deport him, but he lodged a human rights appeal citing the alleged risk to his life from his wife’s family.

The Court of Appeal acknowledged the discomfort in allowing a convicted murderer to remain in the UK on human rights grounds, describing the situation as “uncomfortable” but emphasizing the legal principles requiring them to consider his claim.

Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Legal Loopholes and Human Rights Legislation

The case highlights tensions between public safety and human rights law. Despite KD’s violent crime, courts have been compelled to consider the risk to him from a vendetta in his home country.

Court of Appeal judges Peter Jackson, Arnold, and Dove admitted that it is troubling for “a foreign criminal subject to deportation [to] claim human rights protection because of an alleged blood feud resulting from his crime.” Yet, adherence to legal principle has allowed his appeal to continue.

Romans 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good… a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Criminal Background and Risk Assessment

KD murdered his wife after remaining illegally in the UK for years following failed asylum appeals. A parole board concluded that while he has a low likelihood of general reoffending, he poses a “high or medium” risk of serious harm to intimate partners. Despite this, tribunals have upheld his claim to stay on human rights grounds, exposing a gap in the system between criminal accountability and deportation enforcement.

The case has sparked outrage among politicians and the public. Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp condemned the decision as a “sickening” exploitation of human rights laws, arguing that foreign criminals are using legal loopholes to avoid deportation. The case has reignited debates about the UK’s obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and the government’s ability to remove dangerous individuals from the country.

Meanwhile, KD initially entered the UK illegally, claimed asylum, and remained in the country despite multiple rejections. His continued presence, even after committing murder, underscores systemic weaknesses in immigration enforcement, parole monitoring, and the application of human rights law in cases involving serious criminality. Critics argue that the system prioritises legal technicalities over public safety, allowing convicted murderers to exploit loopholes to remain in the UK.

“Risk of Abuse”

Shabana Mahmood, UK Home Secretary
Shabana Mahmood, UK Home Secretary

A Namibian migrant outed as “bisexual” by his male cousin lover has been allowed to remain in Britain because he would face persecution if he were sent back to his home country.

The professional footballer faced verbal and physical abuse from his family when his relationship with his cousin emerged while he was dating a woman.

An immigration tribunal found that the man, who is now in a heterosexual relationship, was a “public figure” in Namibia and might be recognised on his return.

The Namibian, whose identity was kept anonymous, might therefore be at “risk of abuse”.

The case, revealed in court papers, comes as Shabana Mahmood, the Home Secretary, draws up new legislation to limit the use of human rights claims by migrants and foreign criminals to avoid deportation.

Related Cases and Wider Implications

This case is part of a broader pattern of foreign criminals challenging deportation on human rights grounds, often citing risks of harm in their home countries.

Similar cases have involved individuals convicted of violent offences, sexual crimes, or terrorism-related acts using appeals to remain in the UK.

In February 2025, a Jamaican drug dealer avoided deportation after promising he’ll “only smoke” cannabis and not sell it. Shawn Rickford McLeod, 40, arrived in the UK in 2000 but was jailed after supplying class A drugs.

In June 2025, an illegal migrant who used fake documents and was jailed for fraud was granted leave to remain in the UK because she has lived here so long.

Joyce Baidoo overstayed in the UK for 25 years but an asylum court ruled she has been gone from Ghana for too long to send her back.

The 57-year-old has been in the UK without permission since 2000, even avoiding being kicked out of the country when she was jailed for fraud. The Home Office issued a deportation order in 2007 following her conviction but she has remained in the UK.

Barely one month later,/b> another Jamaican murderer won a human rights appeal to stay in the country after a judge said he has an “admirable work ethic”.

The unnamed killer has avoided deportation after an immigration court in Cardiff ruled key facts in the case had not been properly considered.

The situation raises pressing questions about balancing human rights obligations with public protection and whether reforms to deportation law, asylum procedures, or ECHR commitments are needed to prevent repeat exploitation by dangerous individuals.

Paid to Leave

In a twist of events, families of failed asylum seekers will be offered up to £40,000 to leave the UK under a trial scheme announced by Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood.

Ms. Mahmood said the government would seek to forcibly remove failed asylum seekers if they do not accept “incentive payments” of up to £10,000 per person, capped at four per family, within seven days.

The government claims the scheme is expected to target about 150 families living in taxpayer-funded accommodation, and the Home Office estimates it could save £20m if successful. But at the same time, using taxpayers funding to pamper illegal migrants.

However, the Conservatives and Reform UK said the payments would incentivise people to come to the UK illegally.

Migrant convicted of sexual assault to remain in the UK following gay claims

A Pakistani man convicted of sexual assault has been allowed to remain in Britain after claiming he was gay, despite providing no evidence, according to the Telegraph.

The 53-year-old had been living illegally in the UK for 11 years before making the claim.

The Pakistani national, identified only as MR, arrived in the UK on a student visa in 2006 but remained illegally after it expired that same year. His initial bid to stay on human rights grounds in 2012 was rejected

In 2017, he was arrested and later convicted for sexually assaulting a woman by touching. A month after his conviction, he claimed asylum, citing fears of persecution in Pakistan if he were deported.

Despite pleading guilty, MR insisted he was innocent and also claimed he was in a “same-sex relationship.”

In April last year, an immigration court granted him refugee status on human rights grounds. However, the Home Office has since launched a fresh challenge, and his case will now be reconsidered.

Legal oversight enables stay

The Home Office initially dismissed his claim, stating it “did not accept he was living in the UK as a gay man.” The asylum tribunal, however, allowed him to stay despite the absence of supporting evidence.

Due to procedural errors, officials failed to contest his claim effectively, and the decision stood unchallenged. His sexual orientation was taken at face value, overriding his criminal record and illegal status. It is unclear whether new evidence will be presented in the upcoming proceedings.

Meanwhile, former Home Secretary Suella Braverman refused MR’s asylum application, citing a lack of proof of any genuine same-sex relationship. However, the legal process ultimately overturned her decision.

Pattern of exploited loopholes

This case is one of many where foreign criminals have successfully used human rights claims to prevent deportation. Loopholes in asylum laws continue to obstruct removals despite serious criminal convictions.

Past cases have included an Albanian who avoided deportation after arguing his child disliked foreign chicken nuggets. Another involved a convicted paedophile who remained in the UK because deportation would be “unduly harsh” on his family.

The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) has been widely cited in these cases, raising concerns over its role in preventing removals of serious offenders.

Gender identity: A new shield for criminals?

Isla Bryson: Transgender rapist in women's jail 'raises safety fears' | Clydebank Post
Isla Bryson: Transgender rapist in women’s jail ‘raises safety fears’ | Clydebank Post

The UK’s justice system is increasingly allowing offenders to evade accountability the moment gender identity is invoked. Courts and institutions, fearing accusations of discrimination, have granted leniency to individuals who suddenly identify as transgender after committing serious crimes.

Adam Graham, now known as Isla Bryson, was convicted of raping two women but only declared a female identity after being charged. Instead of facing justice in a male prison, Mr Graham was initially placed in a women’s facility, sparking national outrage.

This is not an isolated case. Child sex offender Katie Dolatowski, a biological male, was convicted of assaulting young girls in supermarket toilets but was spared prison and placed in female-only accommodation.

Gender card for access

In Canada,, Christopher Hambrook exploited self-identification policies to gain access to women’s shelters, where he preyed on vulnerable women.

The trend reveals a growing loophole where individuals claim “transgender identities” to manipulate the system, avoid harsher sentencing, or gain access to spaces that should be protected.

The issue extends beyond sex offenders. Violent criminals, such as Barbie Kardashian in Ireland, who has a history of extreme violence against women, have been housed in female prisons despite clear risks.

The justice system appears more focused on political correctness than public safety. Instead of ensuring that justice is served, authorities are enabling dangerous individuals to weaponise gender identity for personal gain, undermining both legal integrity and the rights of real victims.

The government’s immigration crisis

As of December 2024, the UK faced a significant backlog of 41,987 asylum appeals, marking a nearly 500% increase from the 7,173 cases pending at the start of 2023.

A significant number involve asylum seekers citing human rights breaches to avoid deportation.

Sir Keir Starmer has pledged to close loopholes that have enabled questionable claims, such as a Gaza family entering the UK via a Ukrainian refugee scheme. However, the question is whether real action will follow?

Legal experts warn that unless the system is reformed, criminals and overstayers will continue to exploit weak enforcement, delaying removals for years. Public confidence in immigration control is at stake.

The government’s failure to successfully remove foreign criminals has fuelled public frustration. Ministers have vowed to tighten asylum policies, but results remain slow.

With the upper tribunal set to review MR’s case, questions remain over whether Britain’s asylum system can prevent future abuses or if legal loopholes will continue to be exploited.

‘Megamosque’ refused planning permission

The Abbey Mills site of Tablighi Jamaat’s proposed ‘megamosque’

A planning application for a massive ‘megamosque’ in West Ham has been refused planning permission, but Christian leaders are warning the battle is far from over.

Local Councillors agreed with Newham planning officers that the proposed design was not appropriate and refused it, saying it did not fit with their vision of bringing housing and jobs to the area.

Planning officers tabled the application, put in by a charity behind the group Tablighi Jamaat, for refusal last week, reported the London Evening Standard.

But the hardline Islamic group intend to appeal to the Planning Inspectorate at Bristol, according to the Standard’s latest report.

Thousands of Muslims supporting the sect demonstrated outside Stratford Town Hall last night, and were countered in the spiritual realm by a prayer vigil organised by members of Christian Voice.  Some members also reported having great conversations with Muslims, who view Jesus Christ as a mere prophet, superceded by Mohammed.  They were able to show that Jesus was and is the Son of God, and pointed out that if Allah denies having begotten a son, then Allah and the Almighty are not the same being.

Christian Voice members have been meeting for prayer at the site of the proposed development on the first Saturday morning of every month since January 2007.  They met on Saturday 6th April 2013 from 10.30am to 12.30.  The next meeting is Saturday 4th May 2013.

The proposed mosque would be the size of Battersea Power Station and would dominate the Abbey Mills area, according to the architect submitting the proposal.  It would accomodate 12,000 devotees, and be the largest place of worship in Britain, as well as the headquarters of Tablighi Jamaat, the separatist group who own the land.

Stephen Green, National Director of Christian Voice, said today:

‘We give thanks to God that councillors agreed with their planning officers last night despite massive pressure from Muslims supporting the proposal.

‘The battle is far from over and the focus of our prayer must now shift to Bristol and the appeals process.  But the unanimous vote and what appear to have been robust grounds for refusal were welcome at this stage.’

COME ALONG to the next prayer meeting at West Ham: Saturday 4th May 2013 (and every first Saturday in the month thereafter).  Meet at the site where the Greenway pedestrian path crosses Canning Road.  Aim for Channel Sea House at E15 3ND.

If coming by foot, take the DLR from Stratford or West Ham to Abbey Road.  Turn right out of the station, and left up Canning Road.  We meet at the top on the left on the Greenway.  Check at Transport for London for ‘planned engineering works’ to the Tube.

If coming by car, turn into Mitre Road which becomes Abbey Road, turn left into Canning Road, park at Channel Sea House at the end and just walk 50 yards back to the Greenway.  You can also approach from the other direction: From the A118 High Street turn into Abbey Road.  SatNav: E15 3ND.

PLEASE COME and stand up for Christ whatever the weather and be challenged and blessed!  (Phil 1:27-29).  The meeting is always a peaceful time of fellowship, worship and seeking the Lord in prayer and in His word.

PRAY: That there is a good turn-out with powerful prayer for our nation.  Pray that God will bless our nation with repentance and that His enemies, whether Secularist or Islamic, will be converted to the cause of Christ, or that their plans will come to nothing before our holy and awesome God.  Who is on the Lord’s side?  Come along and stand with us!

Recent government data reveals a significant increase in welfare payments to households with at least one foreign national, reaching £941 million in March 2025, nearly doubling from £461 million in March 2022.

This surge now accounts for 15.5% of the total monthly Universal Credit spending.

The rise in claims has prompted discussions about the sustainability of the UK’s welfare system and its capacity to support both native

The current system may inadvertently incentivise migration by offering generous benefits, potentially straining public resources. Neil O’Brien, a former Tory health minister, highlighted concerns over the rapid growth of benefit spending and migration rates, suggesting that the government’s approach may be too lenient.

The surge in channel crossings

In the first half of 2025, the UK witnessed a significant increase in migrants crossing the English Channel, with over 14,800 individuals arriving by late May—a 42% rise compared to the same period in 2024.

Smuggling gangs have adapted new tactics by using larger boats, some carrying over 80 people, and launching from inland waterways to evade French police intervention.

The UK has invested £480 million to bolster French beach patrols, yet interception rates have declined, raising concerns about the effectiveness of current strategies.

Upon arrival, asylum seekers in the UK are entitled to basic support while their claims are processed.
This includes accommodation and a weekly allowance of £45 per person, or £9.10 if meals are provided.

Additional support is available for pregnant women and young children. However, asylum seekers are not permitted to work and have no access to mainstream benefits like Universal Credit unless granted refugee status.

Defense and border control expenditures

The UK has invested heavily in bolstering border security, including a £480 million agreement with France to enhance beach patrols and curb Channel crossings.

Despite this, interception rates have declined, with French authorities intercepting only 184 out of 1,378 migrants attempting to cross on a single day in May 2025.

The UK Coastguard has also been overwhelmed by migrant rescue operations, highlighting the strain on border control resources .

Meanwhile, in response to the increasing number of Channel crossings, UK ministers are drafting new legislation to fast-track the removal of asylum seekers arriving from countries deemed “safe.”

The aim is to prevent prolonged stays in the asylum system for individuals from such countries. However, critics argue that deeming countries safe doesn’t account for individual persecution cases, emphasising the need for fair case-by-case evaluations .

The strategic defence review

The UK’s newly released Strategic Defence Review (SDR) reads more like a vision board than a battle plan. Full of buzzwords like “step change” and lofty claims about being at the “leading edge” of NATO innovation, it offers little substance on how Britain will actually defend its citizens in a rapidly deteriorating global climate.

In fact, Prime Minister Starmer’s assertion that Britain will lead in technology and tactics rings hollow when compared to the firepower and innovation of the United States, which dominates with its Silicon Valley networks and orbital infrastructure.

There is an alarming disconnect between the rhetoric and the reality. While Ukrainian soldiers face real bullets and missile strikes, the British government has spent the past year penning platitudes. A war is raging in Europe’s backyard, and yet Westminster seems more focused on reshaping internal committees than reinforcing its crumbling military readiness.

Scripture warns:
1 Corinthians 14:8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

Delay, deflect, decline

The review’s few tangible promises are scattered and deferred. The idea of increasing soldier numbers “in the next parliament” puts any meaningful growth off until at least 2029.

Sir Starmer’s commitment to raising defence spending from 2.3% to 2.5% of GDP by 2027 is presented as bold—but it is dwarfed by both the needs of our military and the spending of our allies. His “ambition” to hit 3% is just that: ambition, not policy.

When defence minister John Healey talks about measuring arms innovation in “months not years,” he undermines himself by tying future growth to legislative cycles and parliamentary vagueness. The disconnect between urgency and action exposes the lack of conviction at the heart of this government.

They speak of “warfighting” as if saying the word enough times will conjure the readiness they have long neglected.

Jesus in Matthew 7:16 By their fruits ye shall know them.

It is not what a government says about defence, but what it does. And so far, what we see is procrastination in the face of growing peril.

The hollowed-out arsenal

Britain’s armed forces are not just underfunded—they are under-equipped, undermanned, and under-valued. The British Army has dwindled to just over 70,000 soldiers, its lowest number in 300 years.

Meanwhile, over 64,000 civil servants occupy positions in the Ministry of Defence. It’s as if the government believes paperwork can win a war.

Our naval defences fare no better. The ageing Vanguard-class submarines, vital to our nuclear deterrent, are creaking towards obsolescence.

A nation that neglects its defences, while evil advances, is one that has forgotten its duty before God.

1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

Diversity over defence

One would expect our Royal Air Force (RAF) to be at the forefront of protecting British skies. Instead, reports suggest that its leadership has prioritised “diversity targets” over defence capability. In fact, internal policies have even skirted legality in the pursuit of inclusion metrics. The RAF has become a case study in how ideology, not mission, is driving decisions.

There’s a place for fairness and opportunity in every institution. But when those principles overshadow the very purpose of a military service—national defence—then we have strayed. It appears the real battle being fought by the RAF is not in the skies, but in boardrooms dominated by HR language and political virtue-signalling.

2 Timothy 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

A nation unready for evil days

While Russia tests hypersonic missiles, uses Iranian drones, and receives covert support from China and North Korea, the UK tinkers with its defence spreadsheets. Cyber-attacks on hospitals, and sabotage of undersea infrastructure are already happening. And still, the SDR speaks in vague tones, disconnected from the gathering storm.

There is little mention in the review of the growing threat posed by hostile foreign powers operating through covert and hybrid means.

Our adversaries are not waiting for Britain to catch up. They are already at work, infiltrating, undermining, and preparing. It is folly to meet calculated aggression with committee-based complacency.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

George Soros ‘There to make money’

Globalist financier George Soros provided funding for anti-Brexit Avaaz and has destabilised nations all over the world while pushing an anti-Christian agenda in Africa.

American billionaire George Soros gave a pro-EU campaign half-a-million pounds through his foundation, according to news outlets. (Note, all our links open in a new tab automatically).

Meanwhile, we have uncovered a video in which the financier shows a breathtaking lack of humanity and remorse.  See below.

Best for Britain?

The Best for Britain campaign, which unashamedly advocates snubbing the Brexit referendum and remaining in the EU, received £400,000 from Soros-funded Open Society Foundation since the June 2017 election, sources told the Guardian.

Gina Miller founded Best for Britain.  She took the UK government to court over the triggering of Article 50. The campaign is chaired by Lord Malloch-Brown, a leading political insider. Ignoring the 2016 Referrendum result, he says, ‘We, like millions of people, believe that Britain should lead, not leave, Europe.’ ‘Leading Europe’ is of course impossible for the UK or any other nation. The un-elected Commission, a self-perpetuating oligarchy, runs the EU.

Best for Britain’s CEO Eloise Todd said the group has ‘only one aim – to stop Brexit and do what’s best for Britain’.  However, after touring European capitals in the spring of 2016, I concluded what is ‘best for Britain’ is to leave the EU’s revived Roman empire as fast as we can.  This page on our website looks at the EU’s spiritual dimension and provides links to the videos.

George Soros made £1bn from the UK taxpayer

This scary sculpture of a woman holding the Euro aloft while men grovel at her feet is outside the EU Parliament building in Brussels.
This scary sculpture of a woman holding the Euro aloft while men grovel at her feet is outside the EU Parliament building in Brussels.

George Soros made more than £1bn at our expense by betting against the pound on Black Wednesday in September 1992. By the grace of God his actions forced the British government to pull out of the European exchange rate mechanism. That decision in turn kept the UK from joining the Euro, so some good came of it.
Recdently, Mr Soros has made no secret he believes holding the EU referendum was a ‘fatal error’. The billionaire has refused to ‘butt out’ of the debate. Last week he pledged yet another £100,000 to Best for Britain.

He said: ‘Prior to Brexit, Britain enjoyed the best of all possible worlds. It was a member of the European Union without adopting the Euro.

‘Britain, outside Europe, will lose much of its global influence. Economically, Britain will suffer because 45 years of successful integration with Europe will go into reverse.’

Soros fears disintegration – and Russia

But the Independent reported his real fear just after the 2016 referendum. Firstly, George Soros is terrified the EU will break apart after a successful Brexit and he will lose his influence over European affairs.   Last year we reported on the influence George Soros has amongst MEPs.  Financially he could be disadvantaged as well.

Secondly, the financier revealed another aspect of his thinking in this quote:

‘To make matters worse’, he said, ‘the divorce process will preoccupy both Britain and Europe for years ahead, when they should be uniting to resist external enemies like Putin’s Russia and resolve the internal contradictions that made some people regard the EU as their enemy.’

Members of "Pussy Riot" staged a foul-mouthed tirade in a Moscow Cathedral. George Soros put up money for it.
Members of “Pussy Riot” staged a foul-mouthed tirade in a Moscow Cathedral. George Soros put up money for it.

George Soros hates Russia.  Under Vladimir Putin the country has been returning to its Orthodox Christian heritage.   It is Russia, not the West, which defends Christian minorities in the Middle East.  We denounced the blasphemous Femen group and its Pussy Riot desecration of  a Moscow Cathedral here.  We also reported on them and on Moscow banning a homosexual parade.  And who is now the world’s biggest funder of pro-homosexual NGO’s worldwide?  The same man whose foundations, together with the US government, funded Pussy Riot and Femen?  Click here to see if you guessed right!

George Soros links to armaments

Mr Soros is also talking up the alleged threat from Russia for financial reasons.  Peace with Russia would remove the need for vast armies to be facing each other making money for armaments manufacturers.

The Panama Papers leaks, ironically funded by Soros, inadvertently revealed his links to the secretive Carlyle Group which invests heavily in armaments.

Other leaks show Soros maipulating news, whilst working against Russia and shoring up Hilary Clinton.

Ironically, although George Soros is the primary foreigner interfering in our internal affairs, the mainstream media persist in fingering Russia.  In this article on the RT website, security analyst Michael Maloof goes further and points out the history of interference by the US and UK in the affairs on sovereign countries.   Russian senators have listed one hundred examples of the US interfering in the elections of other countries.

Ex-CIA director James Woolsey has even admitted the US has interfered in elections in the past, but “only for a very good cause,” and when they thought rigging the vote would benefit democracy.  See here.

Interfering in sovereign nations

Mr Soros founded the Open Society Foundation. Recently he announced he was giving all his wealth to the Foundation. Ostensibly Open Society promotes democracy and open accountable government around the world.

However, Open Society has a history of interfering in the internal affairs of sovereign nations. Its activists promote the causes of feminism, sodomy and abortion throughout Africa and Asia. The Soros front funded the so-called Arab Spring uprising.

The billionaire helped set up Avaaz, the clicktist anti-Brexit eco-warrior group.  Avaaz sent agents into Syria with propaganda and communications equipment. Their involvement helped start the Syrian civil war, with help from the US and the UK.  That displaced tens of thousands of people, the majority of the Muslims, who then flooded into Europe.  Naturally, George Soros is all for Europe welcoming the Islamists in with open arms.  Although Hungarian-born, he hates the Hungarian government for refusing to take the anti-Christian migrants in.

Soros also collaborated with the EU to fund the Maidan Square trouble in Kiev. The uprising drove Ukraine’s elected but pro-Russian president from power. The resulting violence has left people dead, businesses ruined and Ukraine in turmoil. The eastern Russian-speaking minority turned to Moscow for help. Gleefully, the EU then blamed Russia for the instability it started itself.

Even today at the Munich Security Conference all the talk is about Russian ‘meddling’. It should be firstly concerned with protecting civilian populations from Islamic terrorists. Secondly, it should be promising to end the interference by the US, UK and France in the Middle East. It is that, after all, which led to the rise of Al-Qaeda and then to ISIS. And that is not even to suggest those Islamist organisations were set up with Western encouragement in the first place.

George Soros ‘there to make money’ video

Finally, we shall make one thing very clear.  The fact that George Soros is Jewish does not make exposing the evil he does ‘anti-Semitic’.   Theresa May’s former chief of staff, Nick Timothy, has picked up on the same donation as we have here.  He has been accused of “peddling textbook anti-Semitic tropes” in a Telegraph article he wrote.  The accusations have come from Bonnie Greer and Owen Jones.  Both are quite happy with the anti-Christian amoralism of George Soros as well as his anti-Brexit credentials.  But at least Owen Jones is pro-JewishBonnie Greer is boycotting Israel.

Finally, as trailed at the top of this article, and thanks to the off-Guardian website, we can see an extraordinary interview with George Soros.  The interviewer challenges him on the social implications of betting against national currencies and driving millions towards poverty. This is his response: ‘I am basically there to make money. I cannot and do not look at the social consequences of what I do.’ Watch this astonishing video here.

Everywhere Soros becomes involved, destruction, death and degradtion run riot. Sometimes he makes money from the turmoil. At other times it is merely his hatred of Christianity and his fanatical obesesion with advancing democracy and perversion which drives him. We must pray fervently that his works are exposed and brought to ruin.

But let us also pray with compassion for the man himself. Pray he repents at finds salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ even at this eleventh hour of his life. He may never be able to undo all the evil he has set in train, but at least one soul would be saved from the fires of hell.

We’ll really appreciate your support

Islamaphobia Definition: Islamism, The Real Threat

0
Muslims at prayer - in the street
Muslims at prayer - in the street

The past week has provided a troubling snapshot of events unfolding across Britain. Four men were arrested on suspicion of spying on Jewish targets in London for the Islamic Republic of Iran, raising fresh concerns about foreign interference and threats to the Jewish community.

At the same time, supporters of the Iranian regime reportedly clashed with dissidents outside an Islamic centre in central London, while demonstrations linked to the Middle East conflict spilled onto British streets.

In Birmingham, crowds gathered at a vigil connected to Iran’s late Supreme Leader, where the Israeli flag was set alight and chants echoed through the crowd. Elsewhere in London, protesters shouted slogans against Israel, bringing the rhetoric of Middle Eastern conflicts directly into the heart of the capital.

These incidents have fuelled growing concern about the spread of extremist sympathies, foreign political tensions and anti-Semitic rhetoric within parts of Britain’s public sphere. The scenes have raised serious questions about integration, public order and the extent to which overseas ideological conflicts are influencing communities within the United Kingdom.

Yet as these events unfolded, the Government’s attention was focused elsewhere. Ministers have been advancing plans for a new official definition of “anti-Muslim hostility”, alongside proposals designed to combat what they describe as prejudicial stereotyping of Muslims.

Anti-Muslim Hate Definition

Britain’s new definition of “Islamaphobia” may already be written, but the debate over its consequences is only just beginning.

The government has announced a new definition of anti-Muslim hate that includes violence, harassment and prejudicial stereotyping – as it insisted the move will not curtail free speech.

Ministers say it is a working definition and a “tool for government and organisations to better understand, measure, prevent and address anti-Muslim hostility”.

Crucially, the definition is non-statutory – meaning it is advisory and has no legal backing. Discrimination of someone due to their religion or belief is already unlawful under the Equality Act.

Nevertheless, the announcement has quickly triggered debate about how such definitions may be interpreted in practice once they are adopted by public bodies and institutions.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Definition Could Silence Legitimate Debate

The definitions sold to the British people to combat “hostility”, can easily drift into restricting legitimate criticism of religious beliefs, cultural practices or political ideologies associated with Islam.

Free speech advocates warn that once such language becomes embedded within institutional policies, individuals may hesitate to raise difficult but important questions about issues such as Islamist extremism, migration policy or cultural integration.

Christianity itself has long been criticised, mocked and debated openly in British society without the need for official definitions designed to shield it from offence. The greater danger lies not in open debate, but in the gradual narrowing of what people feel safe to say.

“Definition Inhibit Free Speech”

Concerns have also come from within the Government’s own advisory system.

Jonathan Hall, KC said Sir Keir Starmer’s proposed definition, could stop people from freely criticising Islam or issues affecting its followers.

Mr Hall, the independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, told the BBC: “The worry will be with loose language, people will feel inhibited about talking about things that they do think which are genuinely important today.”

He also warned that it could fail to stop anti-Muslim attacks. He said a similar definition for anti-Semitism had failed to prevent a rise in attacks on Jews and that he was sceptical a similar new definition for anti-Muslim hatred would be any different.

Another concern raised is that institutions may interpret the guidance differently, potentially allowing activists to push for censorship of viewpoints they disagree with.

2Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Starmer Courts Muslim Support at Ramadan Iftar

Sir. Kier Starmer at Iftar

Prime Minister Keir Starmer recently attended an iftar gathering during Ramadan, where he praised Britain’s multicultural identity and warned that tensions surrounding Iran were being exploited to divide Muslim and Jewish communities in the United Kingdom.
Sir Starmer presented Britain’s diversity as a national strength and urged unity during the current geopolitical tensions. The optics of the Prime Minister’s appearance alongside the rollout of a new anti-Muslim hostility definition suggest a calculated effort to reassure and appease influential Muslim constituencies.

For Christian Voice and other commentators concerned about free speech and cultural cohesion, the timing raises uncomfortable questions. At a moment when Britain is grappling with difficult debates about integration, extremism and national identity, the Government appears eager to signal solidarity with Muslim groups while pressing ahead with policies that could limit open discussion about Islam.

Does the Prime Minister need a reminder that the UK is a Christian country, therefore these laws could potentially water-down our values and beliefs?

There are also growing concerns that this new definition could introduce blasphemy laws through the back door.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil.

Centre for Media Monitoring is Muslim

Another point drawing attention is the leadership behind the organisations promoting the definition. The Centre for Media Monitoring, which has been active in pushing concerns about alleged anti-Muslim narratives in the media, is led by Muslim figures.

Its leadership structure reflects its stated purpose of advocating for Muslim communities and challenging media coverage they believe portrays Islam negatively. While such advocacy is unsurprising for a media organisation run by a Muslim, it inevitably raises questions about neutrality when proposals emerging from such circles influence public policy debates.

It would be unrealistic to expect anything other than arguments framed strongly in favour of Muslim interests when the initiative is being advanced by those whose primary role is to represent that community. It is not far from the reality to say this organisation is a “Muslim center for media monitoring”.
