SNP Leader forced to admit that men cannot become pregnant

Scotland’s First Minister, John Swinney, has publicly acknowledged that men cannot become pregnant, according to the Telegraph. Yet, in an astonishing contradiction, the Scottish Government’s lawyers argued the opposite before the Supreme Court.

Ruth Crawford KC – acting for SNP ministers – “told the Supreme Court that people who obtain a gender recognition certificate (GRC) are entitled to the same protections under law as biological women”.

On the 26th of November, Women Scotland, represented by Aidan O’Neill KC, argued in court that the Gender Recognition Act (2004) law was later superseded by the Equality Act of 2010.

But Ruth Crawford KC told the court there was “no express measure” in the Equality Act to affect the GRA’s wording that a certificate changes someone’s sex, “nor is it implied by the purpose of the act”.

The absurdity of this claim has not gone unnoticed. Critics, including For Women Scotland, have called it a “fantasy of legal fiction.”

They maintain that sex is an immutable biological reality, not a concept malleable by administrative documentation. Despite this, the Scottish Government appears determined to entangle itself in convoluted arguments, obfuscating a straightforward issue: pregnancy is, and always has been, a uniquely female biological function.

Gender Recognition Certificates and their impact

The Scottish Government’s lawyers insist that GRCs grant individuals the full legal status of the acquired gender, even in contexts where biological distinctions are crucial. For example, a person born female who gets mutilated and receives a “male GRC” could still become pregnant. Yet, in this scenario, they would legally be considered male, leading to the ludicrous assertion of “pregnant men.”

The ramifications are profound. For Women Scotland warns that the legal fiction created by GRCs undermines protections for biological women. If a biological female holding a male GRC is no longer legally recognised as a woman, she could lose access to rights such as maternity leave.

Similarly, the recognition of biological males with female “so-called gender recognition certificates” as women would threaten the integrity of single-sex spaces, including women’s refuges, changing rooms, and prisons.

These changes prioritise ideological commitments over practical and biological realities.

The case against legal fictions

For Women Scotland’s legal challenge underscores the incompatibility of the GRA with the Equality Act 2010, which treats women and transgender individuals as distinct protected categories. The campaign group argues that conflating the two erases critical distinctions and jeopardises women’s rights. A stark example is the claim that women-only associations would be compelled to admit biological males with female GRCs, even if they identify as “lesbians”. This legal framework could effectively dismantle safe spaces designed specifically for women.

Russell Findlay, the Scottish Conservative leader, labelled the government’s arguments as “madness” and a waste of public funds. Joanna Cherry KC, a prominent lawyer and former SNP MP, expressed her disbelief at the government’s insistence on arguing against biological reality in court.

These criticisms highlight the government’s prioritisation of ideological self-ID policies over the rights and safety of women.

Broader implications for the UK

The Supreme Court’s decision on this case will have far-reaching consequences across the UK. If GRCs are upheld as changing legal sex “for all purposes,” the implications will extend beyond Scotland. “Transgender” individuals could gain access to single-sex spaces and protections designed for biological women, fundamentally altering the purpose of these safeguards.

Scottish Government lawyers have argued that such conflicts should be resolved by Parliament, not the courts. Yet, their case underscores the inherent contradictions in the GRA and its application. By blurring the lines between sex and gender, the government risks creating legal and social chaos.

It places the ideological preferences of a minority above the rights of biological women, compromising both common sense and public trust.

Even the Bible says, Psalm 139:13-18 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.

Why this is a terrible idea

The Scottish Government’s approach to gender recognition reflects a troubling detachment from biological and legal reality. By asserting that GRCs can redefine sex, they undermine the Bible but also the very protections designed to ensure fairness and safety for women. This not only dilutes the meaning of sex-based rights but also sows confusion in critical areas like healthcare, employment, and law.

Moreover, the government’s willingness to spend vast sums of taxpayer money defending these indefensible positions is an affront to public accountability. The prioritisation of ideological dogma over practical governance highlights a dangerous drift in policy-making. Far from promoting equality, this approach erodes trust in institutions and jeopardises the hard-won rights of women.

Scotland’s leadership must reconsider its stance. Acknowledging biological reality is not only a matter of common sense but also essential for preserving the integrity of law and society. The pursuit of ideological purity at the expense of women’s rights and public funds is a path fraught with peril—one that Scotland cannot afford to tread.

Trans lobbyists defy ban on puberty blockers

Susie Green, the former chief executive of the discredited “trans” lobby group Mermaids, the one who took her own under-age son to Thailand to have him castrated, has re-entered the realm of so-called trans healthcare. Alarmingly, she seems to have devised a method to sidestep the UK’s prohibition on puberty blockers.

Green’s latest venture, Anne Trans Healthcare—branded as “Anne”—claims to deliver “personalised gender-affirming healthcare” for adults and, alarmingly, children. After her departure from Mermaids in 2022, Green joined forces with “trans” activist and HIV campaigner Lizzie Jordan to establish Anne. Their approach is driven not by rigorous science but by ideology, prioritising beliefs over evidence.

The service adheres to guidance from the controversial trans advocacy group, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), whose recommendations have often been criticised as unscientific and biased.

Puberty blockers for under 18’s

Among Anne’s controversial services is the prescription of puberty blockers for minors—a practice banned both in the NHS and private clinics after the Cass Review exposed severe issues within youth gender services. Even before Dr. Hilary Cass’s findings were released, the serious risks associated with puberty blockers were clear to anyone willing to look beyond ideological blinders. Research has revealed disturbing potential side effects of these drugs, such as reduced IQ, impaired fertility, and weakened bone density. Today, most conscientious clinicians recognise that subjecting vulnerable children to experimental drugs is deeply irresponsible.

In a display of almost remarkable cunning, Anne has managed to sidestep the UK’s ban by establishing a “legal route” through a network of families outside the country to facilitate access to puberty blockers abroad. Green defends this approach by insisting that the so-called “gender-affirming care” provided by her service is an “essential part” of children’s healthcare, framing it as a vital step in their development.

£150 per child

Anne’s services are available to any child who can pay, provided they have the backing of a parent or guardian. For a £200 joining fee and an additional £150 per month, children can enrol in an “under-18s standard membership” scheme—though this price doesn’t cover the actual cost of the medication.

Families must also bear the expense of travelling to an EU country where the drugs can be obtained or administered in person. This pay-to-play model blatantly commercialises vulnerable youth, transforming critical health decisions into costly transactions.

Disregard of the Cass Review

Green and Jordan, emboldened by their unwavering commitment to trans ideology, have shown a disturbing disregard for the conclusions of the Cass Review. In an open letter to Health Secretary Wes Streeting, Green lashes out at the NHS for implementing the report’s recommendations, once again invoking the harmful and misleading claim that denying puberty blockers to children with gender dysphoria increases their risk of suicide.

On her website, Green further criticises the NHS ban, claiming it has forced families to “watch their children suffer as the medication that treated their gender dysphoria wears off.”

With exaggerated melodrama, she asserts that “for them, with puberty-blocking medication now forcefully withdrawn, the torture resumes, and concerns about self-harm and suicidal ideation become a reality.” This rhetoric not only distorts the situation but dangerously manipulates public sentiment through fear.

Doctors quit BMA over Cass rejection

Doctors are quitting the British Medical Association (BMA) in anger over its rejection of the Cass review, calling the recommendation ‘bonkers.’

According to the Times, hundreds of members, including NHS leaders and former presidents of medical royal colleges, have expressed ‘dismay’ at union leaders for opposing the review’s recommendations on gender identity services for children. They allege the union is being controlled by a ‘vocal minority’.

In April, a report by Dr. Hilary Cass found that children had been ‘let down’ due to a lack of reliable evidence on the safety of transitioning for young people.

While the findings has been grudgingly accepted amongst among our leaders, the ‘trans’ lobby within the BMA are ferociously defending their pitch. Ideology and jobs are at risk. The BMA has been captured by them and will now form a group to ‘publicly critique’ the review, arguing that it used flawed methods and made unsupported recommendations. (It didn’t.)

‘Secretive and opaque’

The BMA council, made up of 69 members, voted to reject the Cass review, making it formal policy. Critics called the vote ‘secretive and opaque.’

Over 1,400 doctors, including 900 BMA members, signed an open letter urging the union to accept the review’s findings, accusing its leaders of ignoring evidence-based medicine and ethical practice. The letter was signed by nearly 70 professors and 23 former or current presidents of medical royal colleges.

According to comments reported by The Times, many doctors have cancelled their membership in protest of the union’s stance on the review.

Treat with ‘compassion and respect’

A spokesman for the Cass review said: ‘The systematic reviews undertaken by the University of York, which underpin the review’s findings, are the largest and most comprehensive to date.

‘They looked at 237 papers from 18 countries, providing information on a total of 113,269 children and adolescents.

‘All of the University of York’s systematic review research papers were subject to peer review, a cornerstone of academic rigour and integrity to ensure that the methods, findings, and interpretation of the findings met the highest standards of quality, validity and impartiality.

‘As stated in the final report, while open and constructive debate is needed about the findings of the review and its recommendations, everybody should remember the children and young people trying to live their lives and the families/carers and clinicians doing their best to support them.

‘All should be treated with compassion and respect.’

What is the connection between the case of a patron of a pro-sodomy charity being charged with child sex abuse, a maths teacher banned from teaching for calling children their God-given sex and a Church of England bishop declaring a Bible-believing school chaplain is a ‘risk to children’?

‘Educate & Celebrate’

One Stephen Ireland was a patron of Educate and Celebrate, set up by lesbian Elly Barnes to go in to schools (which hired her to do this), indoctrinate children to question whether they were really boys and girls and, as she put it, smash hetero-normativity, also known as Bible truth, along the way.

Elly Barnes, pronouns ‘they’ and ‘their’, was awarded an MBE in 2016 for services to education, equality and diversity.

Mr Ireland was also the founder of Gay Pride in Surrey.

Meanwhile, the papers report the 40-year-old is facing a total of thirty-seven charges, including the rape of a child under 13, six counts of making indecent photographs of children and two counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

He has been charged alongside David Sutton, 26, a former volunteer for Gay Pride. They will appear at Guildford Crown Court on 12th September twenty-twenty-four and I must stress they are innocent until proven guilty.

Joshua Sutcliffe

Joshua Sutcliffe was fired from Cherwell School, Oxford, for refusing to use a pupil’s preferred pronouns, in other words, for not going along with the child’s delusions.

Last year, the Teaching Regulation Agency barred Mr Sutcliffe from teaching, for that invented offence and for observing that same-sex marriage is wrong in the sight of God. They decided that failed to safeguard pupils’ wellbeing. But the Bible tells us firmly that children’s wellbeing is served by teaching them the ways of God.

The people of Israel were to:
Deut 6:7 … teach them (God’s laws) diligently unto thy children,

While the psalmist calls out:
Psalm 34:11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

That’s from the same Bible our head of state, King Charles, kissed at his coronation in May twenty-twenty-three.

Children down ‘trans’ pathway

Sending children down the trans pathway is at best highly contentious, with Dr Hilary Cass reporting there is no evidence that affirming children in gender delusions is of any benefit to them at all.
Of course it isn’t. God has made us male and female.

The Lord Jesus said:
Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female..7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

Anything else is a lie.

Yet when Joshua Sutcliffe took his case to the High Court, we had Mr Justice Pepperall acting for all the world like a pro-gay and pro-trans activist, ignoring Dr Cass and upholding the Regulation Agency’s absurdities.

Dr Bernard Randall

Lastly, Dr Bernard Randall was chaplain at Trent College in Derbyshire. He told students in a closely-argued sermon that they could question teaching on ‘LGBT’ relationships. He observed that marriage according to the church and the Bible is between a man and a woman.

Incredibly, this was in response to the school paying the afore-mentioned Educate and Celebrate to come into the school and corrupt the children.

Dr Randall was sacked and reported to Prevent, the terrorism watchdog. Then astonishingly, the Church of England Bishop of Derby, Libby Lane, their first woman bishop, ruled that Dr Randall, not Educate and Celebrate, was a risk to children. She denied him a license to officiate as a CofE priest.

Archbishop Welby has refused to allow Dr Randall to bring a misconduct case against Bishop Libby.

What is the connection?

So what links all these stories together? And what I’ve shared is only the tip of the iceberg.

We could speak of Felix Ngole , King Lawal, Gladwys Leger, Kristie Higgs, Aaron Edwards,, Victoria Culf or the Darlington nurses . The same spirit is at work in all these cases.

The Establishment is promoting wickedness, just as their forebears did in Sodom and Gomorrah.

Sodomy paraded on the streets. Gay activists in schools. Children taught evil, even medically castrated and mutilated. High Court judges, bishops of the established church, acting as pro-sodomy and pro-trans activists. Proponents of evil honoured by the late Queen. Dissenting prophetic voices silenced and condemned, denounced as judgemental.

Archbishop of Canterbury ‘plainly wrong’ for blacklisting gender-critical chaplain

The Archbishop of Canterbury was ‘plainly wrong’ in dismissing concerns about the blacklisting of a gender-critical chaplain, a leading lawyer working for the church has ruled.

The Archbishop reportedly tried to block a serious complaint of misconduct being investigated in relation to the ‘egregious’ blacklisting of Reverend Dr Bernard Randall.

Dr Bernard Randall, 52, received a 5-year ban from his ministry for preaching traditional Christian views to students at Trent College, a private school in Derbyshire, where he was the chaplain. link

He told students during a sermon that they could question teaching on ‘LGBT’ relationships.

Dr. Randall was reported to Prevent, the terrorism watchdog, and was ruled by the Church of England to be a risk to children.

The Bible says,
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Triggered by the truth?

In 2019, Dr. Randall gave a sermon he titled ‘Competing Ideologies’, during which he reassured young people that they ‘are not obliged to accept someone else’s ideology’.

In his well articulated Bible standard speech, he told students that they were at liberty to listen to other points of view, whether on religion, Brexit or ‘LGBT ’.

Dr. Randall went on to say it was not wrong to think ‘that human beings are indeed male and female’. He also suggested that, according to the Christian church, marriage is between a man and woman and that a dim view is taken of sex outside of wedlock.

His words triggered complaints from pupils, parents and staff members. Some even claimed they were nearly left in tears.

Despite being cleared of wrongdoing over the 2019 sermon, he remains barred from preaching after a decision by the Bishop of Derby, the Right Reverend Libby Lane, the church’s first female bishop.

Exonerated yet denied

Following an investigation by the church, Dr. Randall was exonerated for the comments he made during his sermon.

But the Derby diocese’s safeguarding team, under the watch of Bishop Lane, still stopped Dr. Randall from taking any position as a vicar.

In 2021, the diocese refused to grant him a licence to officiate without first going through a risk assessment, effectively banning him from preaching.

The diocese safeguarding team claims that the sermon itself was not the reason for this witch-hunt against Dr. Randall.

Rather, it supposedly raised concerns about how he might ‘support someone who came to him if they were struggling with their sexuality’. But Christian Concern, which took up Dr. Randall’s case, maintains that the Right Reverend Lane blacklisted him as a ‘risk to children’ because of his Christian beliefs.

Identity politics over spiritual?

Senior church leaders are taking the back seat and turning away from their parishioners, prioritising identity politics over spiritual and moral guidance.

This attempt to appeal to younger generations through a focus on progressive ideologies is misguided and out of touch with what most people, particularly the youth, truly seek. Instead of ‘woke’ ideologies, there is a growing desire for genuine unity and moderation within the church.

The Church, despite its increasingly diluted stance, has a unique chance to offer a balanced and unifying voice.

Unfortunately, its current leadership, exemplified by Archbishop Welby and Right Reverend Lane, seems more concerned with conforming to popular opinions rather than fulfilling their role as spiritual shepherds.

The Bible says
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Persecuted Christian professionals

In recent times, more Christians have been increasingly persecuted for speaking up against gender indoctrination and sodomy.

In July 2024, a Christian maths teacher, Joshua Sutcliffe was banned from teaching by the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) for stating that ‘a boy cannot be a girl’ and ‘homosexuality is a sin.’

Also, In July 2023, a Christian councillor, King Lawal was suspended for tweeting that pride is not a virtue but a sin.

Meanwhile, another Christian teacher identified as Glawdys Leger was was sacked after refusing to promote extreme ‘LGBT’ ideology, and for expressing her biblical beliefs on human sexuality in response to student questions.

In July 2023, a Christian social worker had a £25,000-a-year job offer revoked after his employer discovered his previous legal victory affirming his freedom of speech.

Felix Ngolefaced expulsion from a social worker training course at Sheffield University after sharing a Facebook post that referenced Bible passages on the topic of same-sex marriage.

Son of Tavistock: NHS to open six new children’s gender clinics by 2026

NHS England has announced it will be opening six new gender identity clinics by 2026.

The health service claims the new gender clinics will ‘provide tailored gender services,’ based on recommendations in the Cass Review.’

But rather than address underlying issues that may be causing a child to have feelings of ‘being in the wrong body’, as Dr. Hilary Cass recommended in April, the NHS appears fully set to promote gender ideologies even more among children and young people.

The new clinics will reportedly focus more on providing a ‘holistic’ approach that includes supporting children with mental health conditions, which is in line with Dr. Cass’s recommendations.

But to open new venues with ‘gender’ in their titles will surely expose children to the possibility of embarking down the same old ‘trans’ pathway operated by the discredited Tavistock Clinic.

Dr Cass, former president of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, detailed in her 388-page report that there was ‘no good evidence’ for the medical push to transition children’s gender. The push had been ‘built on shaky foundations.’

NHS statement

The NHS say: ‘Two new NHS Children and Young People’s Gender Services, led by London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, have already opened in April.

‘The NHS will continue to appoint up to six additional new specialist regional centres by 2026 – with the next new service in Bristol becoming operational by November 2024 and plans to mobilise a service for the East of England over the course of 2024/25.

‘Each of the new services will have a nominated paediatrician or psychiatrist who has overall clinical responsibility for patient safety within the service as it establishes a fundamentally different clinical model built on the strongest possible evidence base.

‘Young people referred into the service will have their wider health and care needs considered and assessed holistically.’

Whether anything will actually change, despite the fine words, is very much open to doubt. We explore why below.

Trial of Puberty Blockers

The NHS refers to documents it has published entitled ‘Children and young people’s gender services: implementing the Cass Review recommendations‘. These ‘set out the scope for further research, in line with key recommendations from Dr Cass, to evaluate all approaches to inform the best possible patient care.

‘These plans also set out that, subject to academic approval, recruitment to a clinical trial into the potential benefits and harms of puberty suppressing hormones for children and young people is likely to commence in early 2025.’

The trial is set to begin later this year, with children being recruited to it in early 2025. But surely one needs the pro-trans mindset seemingly embedded in today’s NHS to see any benefit at all in preventing children from achieving normal adulthood by stopping them going through puberty and growing up normally?

The biblical position

The Lord Jesus said clearly:
Matt 9:12b They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

The clinical trial, recruiting children to give them what amounts to a poison, is so unethical and immoral it could only happen in a system whose leaders, as the prophet Hosea said of those in ancient Israel:

Review led by gender fanatic

Alongside children and young people’s services, NHS England has also published plans for a review into adult gender services, following, it says, ‘recommendations from Dr Cass’.

The NHS claim this review ‘will look at the effectiveness, appropriateness and stability of each current service, and will be led by Dr David Levy, Medical Director for Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB, who will be an independent chair, supported by a panel of expert clinicians, patients and representatives from Royal Colleges and professional bodies.’

However, Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board has published a ‘Diversity and Inclusion Glossary‘ which defines ‘Cisgender’ as ‘A person whose gender identity aligns with the sex they were assigned at birth.’ It uses the same absurd ‘assigned’ expression elsewhere.

It defines ‘Gender’ as: ‘A social construct informed by the norms, roles and behaviours that we attribute
to being masculine, feminine or third gender.’ Furthermore, the term ‘Gender Reassignment’, it asserts, has been replaced by ‘Gender confirmation/affirmation’. It speaks of mutilatory mastectomy as ‘Top Surgery’.

This document must have been approved by the ICB’s medical director. It asserts that sex is ‘assigned’ rather than ‘discerned’ at birth, describes ‘gender’ as a ‘social construct’, that surgery can ‘affirm’ a delusion and believes there is ‘third gender’? In what way will Dr Levy be ‘independent’ of gender ideology?

‘Expanding NHS gender services’

Professor James Palmer , NHS medical director for specialised commissioning, gives the game away in the NHS press release when he says gender services will be ‘expanding’: ‘The roll out of new specialist centres in every region across England will be central to improving and expanding NHS gender services for children and young people, to ensure that they receive evidence-based, responsive, holistic care – and the Cass Review is the backbone on which our implementation plan is based.

‘It’s clear that our services for adults need focus too. The waiting times for care are too long and experiences of care are too variable. The review needs to address poor experience but also learn from good experiences of care. It’s vital we hear from patients and staff, some of whom have raised concerns to Dr Cass, and this review will be a further opportunity for them to be heard.

‘There remains considerable work to do, but we are already making progress on a number of Dr Cass’ recommendations, and our plans published, set how we will establish services that provide the care that patients and their families need to thrive.’

The nod to Hilary Cass must not blind us to what is happening here. It is ‘business as usual’ for the gender fanatics of the NHS.

Feeling safe or promoting gender ideology?

Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting said: ‘I am pleased to be working with NHS England to fully implement the recommendations from Dr Cass’s review, so that young people get the safe, holistic care and support they need. The unacceptable waiting times for gender services cause enormous distress to children and young people, at a crucial point in their lives.

‘As well as rolling out new services, NHS England is setting up a clinical trial to establish the evidence on puberty blockers, because children’s healthcare should always be led by evidence.

‘I want trans people in our country to feel safe, accepted, and able to live with freedom and dignity.’

His Majesty’s Secretary of State would do better to assert biblical truth that God has made us male and female and that no-one can ever change his, or her, genetic make-up.

Dr Hilary Cass reacts

Dr Hilary Cass said: ‘I am pleased that NHS England is planning to fully implement the recommendations of my Review and the next important step will be the most challenging – turning it into a reality.

‘The vision of the Review – reflected in the implementation plan – is to increase available services for gender-questioning young people which take a holistic approach to care addressing the needs of each individual, and which put in place a full package of care which can be delivered as close to home as possible.

‘Setting up a new collaborative of regional providers will also bring in leaders from professional societies, education, and research, to ensure these services continue to develop in line with evidence and best practice to support children and young people.’

Royal Colleges Academy is pro-trans

Doctor Jeanette Dickson, Chair of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, said: ‘We welcome these important steps towards implementing the recommendations of the Cass Review because at the heart of this are thousands of children and young people in need of care. The sooner we can make sure they are treated by the most appropriate professional in a way that’s right for them, the better. NHS England has moved with admirable speed, but we must keep the pace up if we are to help these patients in a timely and fair way.’

But inevitably, Dr Dickson’s ‘Academy’ is itself pro-trans. It wants a ban on ‘conversion therapy’, including consensual discussions around ‘gender’. It says: “Any legislation should ban ‘conversion therapy’ for all groups, including transgender people and adults, even where ‘consent’ may be provided.”

Poor Dr Cass. She thought it would all change, but she had not reckoned with the trans juggernaut. This will need much prayer.

Olympic championships: Female athletes in danger

An Olympic bout saw a female athlete withdraw just 46 seconds into her fight against an opponent who had previously failed a gender test.

Italian Angela Carini took only a couple of hits from Algeria’s Imane Khelif before withdrawing from the match and falling to her knees in tears- an extremely unusual occurrence in Olympic boxing.

Hungary, the country of Khelif’s next opponent, is now mounting a challenge, reports CBS Sports..

Mr. Khelif was previously banned from competing in the world championships by the International Boxing association because he failed testosterone and gender eligibility tests. IBA president Umar Kremlev stated last year that “it was proven they have XY chromosomes”

Fight ‘Not fair’

This bout had already sparked intense controversy, with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) facing mounting pressure to explain how a woman could be allowed into a boxing ring without certainty about the sex of her opponent. The IOC has fallen out with the IBA so the latter has no jurisdiction over the Olympics.

Algeria’s Khelif won in 46 seconds after Ms. Carini quit in the 66kg category, following a suspected broken nose. The latter claimed the fight was ‘not fair’.

‘Never been punched so hard’

According to the Daily Telegraph, Ms. Carini said she abandoned the fight because she had never been punched so hard.

Imane Khelif was previously banned from competing in a gold-medal bout in Delhi by the International Boxing Association, which cited his ‘elevated levels of testosterone’ as failing to meet the eligibility criteria.

Despite this, the IOC permitted him to fight in these Olympics.

The power difference was evident from the start, with Carini taking a punch to the face and immediately walking to his corner, signaling she would not continue.

‘Controversy before the fight’

Prior to the fight, many voiced concerns about the IOC’s decision to allow Imane Khelif to compete for Algeria.

It is true that both Khelif and Yu-Ting have been competing in women’s boxing for many years.

Mexico’s Brianda Tamara, a former opponent of Khelif, recounted their 2022 fight and spoke about Khelif’s extraordinary power and strength.

She said Khelif’s power and strength was unbelievable and that she had never ‘felt like that in my 13 years as a boxer, nor in my sparring with men’. She was grateful that she ‘got out of the ring safely’.

Australian boxing captain Caitlin Parker labeled Khelif’s eligibility as ‘incredibly dangerous,’ although Australian boxing coach Santiago Nieva stated Khelif was fine to fight.

IOC defends its decision

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) said the pair were facing ‘aggression’ because of an ‘arbitrary decision’ by the IBA.

‘Towards the end of the IBA World Championships in 2023, they were suddenly disqualified without any due process,’ the IOC said.

Some sports have limited the levels of testosterone allowed for athletes competing in women’s competition, while others ban everyone who has been through male puberty.

Differences in sex development are a group of rare conditions involving genes, hormones and reproductive organs. Some people with DSDs are raised as female but have XY sex chromosomes and blood testosterone levels in the male range. (see below for Swyer Syndrome.)

The IOC said the rules of eligibility were based on those of the Tokyo Games in 2021 and cannot be changed during a competition.

‘The current aggression against these two athletes is based entirely on this arbitrary decision, which was taken without any proper procedure, especially considering that these athletes had been competing in top-level competition for many years.

‘The IOC is saddened by the abuse that the two athletes are currently receiving,” it added. “Every person has the right to practice sport without discrimination.’

Meanwhile, It has also emerged that the official at the centre of the row, Mark Adams, spokesman for the International Olympic Committee (IOC), defending the participation of Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-ting, was a best man at Sir Keir Starmer’s wedding.

The Telegraph reports Mr Adams has known the Prime Minister since the two were at school together. Biology was clearly not on the curriculum.

Imane Khelif is not the only boxer in Paris with questions surrounding their gender. Lin Yu-ting of Taiwan was also expelled from the women’s world championships last year after IBA tests revealed that the 28-year-old also has XY chromosomes.

Despite this, Yu-ting fought Uzbekistan’s Sitora Turdibekova this week and also won, unanimously.

It is astonishing and alarming that a woman was encouraged to step into the ring with an opponent whose biological sex she did not know.

What does research say?

Studies have shown that men can punch 2.6 times harder than women, a critical safety concern beyond the usual issues of fair competition.

If Khelif’s testosterone levels are akin to those of a man, Carini faced a significant risk during the match and could have sustained injuries far worse than a broken nose had the fight continued.

These sex tests are implemented for good reasons: to protect women and ensure fair competition. However, the IOC has labelled concerns about Khelif and Yu-ting competing against female boxers as part of a mean-spirited ‘witch-hunt.’

Nevertheless, UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy MP, previously vowing to leave decisions up to individual boards, has now decided to ‘speak to sporting bodies about ‘inclusion, fairness and safety’.’

Swyer Syndrome: XY genetics is not ‘she’ or ‘her’

It seems Khelif might be afflicted with Swyer Syndrome, which the US Government describes as ‘a rare genetic condition in which people who have an X chromosome and a Y chromosome (the usual pattern for males) look female. They have normal female reproductive organs, including a uterus, fallopian tubes, and vagina. However, the ovaries do not develop and are replaced by clumps of tissue where they would normally form. Swyer syndrome is usually not diagnosed until puberty, when menstrual periods do not begin as they should.’

The syndrome is named after Professor Gerald Swyer (1917-1995), an eminent endocrinologist and expert in the area of reproductive medicine. He reported on this ‘XY gonadal dysgenesis’ in 1955. See HERE.

However, both Khelif and Yu-ting have clearly undergone masculine development now possessing male levels of testosterone. So their situation could be more complicated than ‘simple’ Swyer syndrome. It remains that XY chromosomes are a male characteristic, making it inappropriate to call either boxer ‘she’ or ‘her’.

It is unfortunate, but our human condition since the fall sometimes deals us a sad hand. We must never let being ‘kind’ trump justice and equity or the safety of competitors.

What is the reality for female athletes globally?

Women’s boxing world champion Claressa Shields has fumed over the decision to allow two fighters who failed gender tests to compete against females at this summer’s Paris Olympics.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist wrote on X: ‘So they got men fighting against women in the Olympics boxing!

‘I wouldn’t have stood for no stuff like that! That is so heartbreaking to the women who have to have their dreams ruined by a man.

Ms. Shields first rose to fame in women’s boxing when she captured two gold medals at the Olympics; first coming out on top at the 2012 Games in London before repeating the feat four years later in Rio de Janeiro.

Another X user Oli London wrote: ‘Today she had her Olympic dreams crushed after being beaten by a MALE during a WOMENS boxing match.

‘This is the daily reality for female athletes across the world, as they are forced to compete against trans men in the name of ‘Diversity and Inclusion.’

Paris Olympics blasphemes Christ

The 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, has continued the trend set by the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

In Birmingham, there was a bull being worshipped and then tamed by enlightened figures holding a crystal, followed by Tom Daley strutting out with the so-called Progress Pride flag.

In Paris, the ceremony included a parody of our Lord’s institution of Holy Communion, as depicted in Leonardo da Vinci’s painting of the Last Supper.

As we read in Luke’s Gospel:
Luke 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

In place of Christ at the Paris ceremony, there was a plump Jewish lesbian (reportedly) woman displaying cleavage, while the disciples, reminiscent of Terrence McNally’s blasphemous play Corpus Christi, were portrayed by assorted homosexuals, weirdos, and drag queens.

Every national team that proudly carried their flag into the venue in the pouring rain was inadvertently participating in the Paris perversion.

One Bishop described the event as a ‘gross mockery of the Last Supper’ and questioned, ‘Would they ever dare mock Islam in a similar way?’ The answer is likely no, for three reasons: (1) they understand the repercussions of such actions, (2) they believe there is little in Islam worth parodying, and (3) Christianity is deeply rooted in European culture. Our elites scorn this heritage in favour, perhaps, of a gender-free future powered by renewables.

Christianity an easy target

For those lacking in creativity, Christianity becomes an easy target. They lash out at the Christian faith and its core principles, which are rooted in respect for the Almighty and love for one’s neighbour.

Our Lord Jesus Himself said:
Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The Olympians are sawing off the very cultural branch they are sitting on. Judgement has already fallen on the Commonwealth Games.

Tom Daley insisted that countries maintaining biblical laws against sodomy should not host the Games in the future. Be careful what you wish for, Tom. The organisers are now struggling to find any country willing to host the event. It’s simply not worth it.

France blackout

Parts of Paris experienced a ten-minute electricity blackout the day after the controversial ceremony. Amid the darkness, the Sacré-Cœur Basilica remained illuminated on its hill.

In four years, in 2028, the Summer Olympics are scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, California, a city often regarded as one of the most progressive in the world. Following that, in 2032, the Games are set for Brisbane, Australia. Given current trends, one can expect the level of progressiveness to be significantly heightened.

The only potential safeguard against the increasing propensity for controversial displays at the Olympics is if African and Asian nations refuse to participate. Alternatively, they could choose to attend and compete for medals but boycott the opening ceremony. Sign our petition:

NHS to appoint ‘senior fellow’ to encourage Female Genital Mutilation

The NHS is set to appoint a ‘senior fellow’ to encourage Female Genital Mutilation.

Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals, Hampstead advertised the full-time role with a pay of over £50,000 of taxpayers funds.

The hospital refers to it as ‘Masculinising Genital Gender Affirmation Surgery,’ but it amounts to the same thing: mutilation.

The Bible says,
1 Thess 5:21 Test all things; hold fast what is good.

‘Masculinising genital gender affirming surgery’

Masculinising genital gender affirming surgery is surgery to remove all or part of the vagina, called a vaginectomy, create a scrotum, called scrotoplasty, place testicular prostheses, increase the length of the clitoris, called metoidioplasty, or create a penis, called phalloplasty.

Meanwhile, Barnet’s Senior Fellow is required to have ‘Completed core training in surgery’ and be at the junior doctor ST3+ level in urology, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree, GMC registration, and membership in a relevant Royal College.

As the Bible says,

Mismanagement of funds

One of the clearest indications of the NHS’s financial inefficiency is the constant stream of job vacancies for ‘Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality’ (DIE) managers, who are paid up to £80,000 a year.

It is estimated that the NHS currently spends millions annually on inclusivity, including salaries, office costs, and the amount of frontline staff’s time wasted on unnecessary DIE courses.

It is written:

Shamsa’s sad story of FGM

The BBC reported the heartbreaking story of Shamsa Sharawe, a Somali woman campaigning against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Shamsa is in anguish over what was taken from her when she was six years old—namely, all the genital parts that give a woman sexual pleasure. As the BBC states:

‘Never mind the problems that can come with it like painful periods, difficulty urinating, the agony of having sex, and the dangers and trauma of giving birth when one’s vulva (including the lips and clitoris) has been cut off and the vaginal opening has been narrowed to a tiny hole.’

Barnet’s version of FGM brings worse problems and a lifetime on drugs. How can the British Government oppose FGM, even making it illegal in the UK, while letting the NHS promote a secular equivalent at taxpayers’ expense?

The NHS or National Mutilation Service?

The National Health Service is becoming the National Mutilation Service, funded by taxpayers. Rather than focusing on real issues and clearing appointment backlogs, the NHS prioritises investing in ‘Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality’ (DIE) initiatives.

Meanwhile, doctors, nurses, and other staff members remain underpaid for performing their actual jobs.

Never forget, you don’t get to decide what sex you are.

Inclusive School dumps head girl for boy

Williamwood High School went gender-free

Now what do you think would happen if you replaced the positions of head boy and head girl at a Scottish school with two ‘gender-neutral’‘captains’ and allowed the pupils to vote for the two they preferred out of the three boys and four girls who put themselves forward for the roles?

You need to know that studies and plain common sense show that in this type of election, girls are willing to vote for boys but boys will typically only vote for other boys.

No girls were elected

So, as the Scottish Daily Express reports, the outcome was that two of the three boys were elected and none of the girls. So a measure which was supposed to be ‘inclusive’ ended up excluding girls.

And where did this ‘gender-neutral’‘captains’ idea come from? Well, Williamwood High School in East Renfrewshire is intending to spend something not far short of a thousand pounds applying for the LGBT Youth Scotland Charter. And they advocate gender-neutrality in case some fictitious trans-boy or trans-girl or ‘non-binary pupil’ is offended by the God-given separation of the human race into male and female.

As it is written:
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Division of the sexes

Williamwood girls – no girls were elected.

And out of that, Jewish society separates men and women. That will explain why Mary and Joseph mislaid the young Jesus after his Bar Mitzvah at the age of twelve or so in Jerusalem. He had passed from the authority of his mother to that of his father, but Joseph had apparently not remembered that, while Jesus himself was already thinking spiritually when he told them what every Jewish boy knows:

Luke 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist (knew) ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?

So now we see how that understanding that adolescent girls should stay together in female company and boys, as they pass through puberty, assuming LGBT Youth Scotland and their tame politicians do not fill them full of puberty-blocking hormones, with other adolescent boys.

It’s not just common sense, it’s biblical.

Decades or millennia?

Marion Calder at the For Women Scotland campaign group, said.
“This is yet another misplaced policy in the guise of equality which in reality leads to the erasure of females and denies girls opportunities.

“It is no wonder that parents are up in arms. This school and any others that have adopted this regressive change should immediately scrap it and return to a system that has served them well for decades.”

Not just decades. The word, Marion, is ‘millennia’. Differentiation of the sexes is God-given, rooted in creation. Any policy spitting in the face of God is doomed to fail, but if those who lead us, and don’t forget, the Scottish government is behind LGBT Youth Scotland, persist in these absurdities, they cannot fail to damage young lives along the way.

They know this word:
Prov 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Nurses forced to share changing room with ‘trans’ colleague

A group of nurses from County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust (CDDFT) have lodged an employment tribunal case for sexual discrimination and sexual harassment.

Five of the nurses, from Darlington Memorial Hospital’s Day Surgery department, have spoken out publicly for the first time since the action was launched against the trust.

Bethany Hutchison, Lisa Lockey, Annice Grundy, Tracey Hooper and Joanne Bradbury have decided to speak publicly as they believe the Trust is hoping controversy will “blow over”.
A spokesperson for CDDFT has said that “work continues” on their internal investigation into the issue.

The group has put in claims on harassment, indirect discrimination, and breach of nurses’ ECHR article eight rights (the right to privacy).

The case is believed to be unprecedented, meaning it could be a landmark ruling in employment law.

‘Changing room policy has not changed’

Following the anonymous release of this story last month, the nurses say that changing room policy has not changed.

The group added that they have felt ‘threatened and intimidated’ by interactions with HR at the hospital, and say that they now fear for their jobs.

The nurses say that currently, CDDFT policies permit any member of staff to identify as the opposite gender and to access single-sex changing rooms, toilets or showers on that basis.

In March 2024, a letter was signed by 26 nurses and sent to the Director of Workforce at the NHS Foundation Trust.

In the letter, the nurses said they did not believe it “appropriate” to have a “biological male sharing our changing facilities”.

‘Women’s spaces must be protected’

Spokesperson for the group, Bethany Hutchison said: ‘We want women to be aware that there are transgender policies, particularly in the NHS, that are putting us at risk.

‘This cannot be right, and we want a change in policy, not only at our hospital but across the NHS and wider society.

“The meetings we have had at the hospital have been threatening and intimidating. To say we need educating when staff have multiple degrees was deeply insulting and demonstrates a failure of care towards female staff.

“We will pursue this matter for as long as it takes to ensure women’s spaces are protected.’

Shadow Health Secretary reponds

Shadow Health Secretary Wes Streeting said he is ‘horrified’ that NHS nurses had to resort to legal action after being forced to share a changing room with a man identifying as a woman.

‘I support the nurses and I’m horrified that they’ve had to resort to legal action. We’ve got to find a better way through this and I’d be happy to meet them. We’ve got to find a way through that treats trans people with respect and respects women’s safe spaces’, he added.

Responding to Mr Streeting, Conservative MP, Miriam Cates, said: ‘We don’t need a ‘better way through’. We just need to uphold the rules and boundaries – based on the realities of biology and human nature – that all societies throughout all history have upheld. Men are not allowed in women’s intimate spaces. That is where it begins and ends.

Meanwhile, J.K Rowling wrote on x: ‘The nurses who are suing County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust for letting a trans identified man watch them change. The women and girls being robbed of sporting opportunities. It’s endless.’

'Progress Pride' flags in London's Regent Street.

The depravity of trans ideology is becoming increasingly apparent as it takes over various aspects of society.

The Regent Street website, run astonishingly by the Crown Estate, thinks the proliferation of ‘Progress Pride’ flags on its patch is wonderful. But broadcaster James May describes them as ‘authoritarian’ and ‘oppressive’.

Social Media Platforms like TikTok are also at the forefront, promoting and glorifying sodomy and especially transgenderism to impressionable young audiences.

The influence extends beyond social media, infiltrating major corporations, the NHS, and other key institutions. This widespread promotion is not about ‘inclusivity’ but has taken a hedonistic and lustful turn, brooking, as Mr May observes, no dissent.

TikTok gives LGBT creators ‘new shopping social experience’

TikTok has unveiled its annual lineup of ‘Visionary Voices,’ claiming to spotlight talent and provide ‘LGBTQ’ individuals a platform to showcase ‘queer-led’ businesses on TikTok Shop.

However, this initiative, presented as support for the ‘LGBTQ+ community’, often includes the display of naked and mutilated men in public spaces, even in front of children. Why indeed do the ‘pride’ participants always prance about half-naked?

Such exhibitions raise serious concerns about the impact on young viewers and the broader message being sent.

We must not allow this resurgence of behaviour reminiscent of Sodom and Gomorrah to persist. It is crucial to protect the integrity of public spaces and ensure that support for any community is expressed in a manner that respects all individuals, especially the impressionable youth.

Nothing to be proud about

Dennis Kavanagh, veteran gay activist, has said Pride month, particularly this year’s, feels hollow to him because trans activists have high-jacked it at the expense of homosexuals:

‘In 2024, it’s hard to find any pride among the ‘LGBT activist’ community, as the betrayal of ‘gay youth’ in favour of gender ideology has become glaringly evident.

The Cass Review, released in April, uncovered the issues within the NHS’s treatment of ‘gender confused’ children.

It highlighted how the NHS’s Gender Identity Development Services (GIDS) pushed troubled, often youth into undergoing significant hormonal and drug treatments. When these young people, who were attracted to the same sex, needed support from the so called ‘gay rights movement’, they were let down.

Mr Kavanagh asked: ‘How effective can the ‘gay rights’ movement be if it permits the chemical castration of its future generation?

‘How powerful can a movement be if it tolerates the deplatforming, harassment, and dismissal of ‘lesbians’ such as Kathleen Stock or Julie Bindel for opposing gender ideology?’

Pride is shame

Dr. Jordan Peterson, an outspoken critic of gender-affirming surgery, has said the annual ‘celebration of sexuality’ is foisted on people across the globe.

Speaking to FOX news he said, ‘You should be very careful what you name things, and “pride” is not a virtue”.

‘Pretty much all of it’s a lie, and it’s a dangerous lie, and it’s a lie with real monsters hovering on the edges. Pride is a cardinal sin, and there’s a reason for that.’

He went further to remind everyone the meaning of pride as being ‘something like stubborn refusal to change when evidence of error is accruing, and it’s not a good thing.’

Dr. Peterson said people object to his point by noting that LGBTQ people simply want to affirm their own identity, and they don’t mean “pride” the way it’s used when mentioned as a sin.

‘Fair enough, I suppose, to some degree, but that was the name that was chosen, and that’s the name that stuck. There’s a real tinge of narcissism, sexual narcissism, about the whole pride spectacle,’ he continued. “Do people have the right to express their sexuality the way they see fit? To some degree, if it’s consensual and among adults, but generally among human beings with any degree of civilised comportment whatsoever, it’s a pretty damn private affair.’

It’s also the case that identity based on something as narrow as sexual desire, let’s say, aren’t identities at all. They’re pronouncements of subjection to instinctual whim,” Peterson said.

Christians bear the brunt

Recently, Christians in the UK have faced increasing criticism and accusations of ‘hate speech’. Many have reported losing their jobs and positions for speaking out against sodomy.

This backlash reflects a significant shift in societal attitudes, where traditional views are often met with harsh consequences.

Parents are also grappling with the mandatory inclusion of age-inappropriate content in ‘comprehensive sex education’ programs. They feel compelled to let their children be exposed to topics they believe are unsuitable for their age. Additionally, children are now allowed to identify as any gender or even animal they choose, with schools introducing gender-neutral uniforms and teaching the concept that ‘love is love’.

These changes have sparked considerable debate and concern. The pressure on Christians for their beliefs and the push for progressive education reforms highlight the tension between upholding traditional values and ’embracing modern inclusive ideologies’.

As the UK prepares for its general elections, campaign promises have been made by the Conservatives to protect single sex spaces, women and girls, to eradicate the teachings of age-inappropriate content for children, checkmate ‘trans’ideologies and restore sanity.

We must pray for whoever the Lord chooses to lead this country to do that with the fear and wisdom of God.

Government to end sex education for children under nine

The Government have announced their intention to stop schools giving sex education to children under nine.

Teachers will also have to tell pupils gender ideology is a contested belief.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the new guidance would ensure children were not ‘exposed to disturbing content’.

Education Secretary Gillian Keegan told BBC Breakfast: ‘Biological sex is the basis of relationship, sex and health education – not these contested views’.

A ship adrift

However, Education Secretary Gillian Keegan has just said men who ‘transition to women’ are considered women.

Previously, Ms. Keegan stated that she would no longer say that ‘trans women are women’, adding that her stance had since evolved. However, in an interview with Radio 4’s Today program, she again said that it hinges on whether the individual identifies as the opposite sex or has obtained a gender reassignment certificate.

Ms Keegan said: ‘In the first instance, that person was not a woman, but in the second the person was, if only in a legal sense’.

Asked if she would say that people who had gone through gender reassignment were women, she said: ‘Well, this is what we should say. I personally believe if you have gone to that level of, you have got the gender recognition, you have got the reassignment, then you are legally and medically allowed to say that you are a woman’.

Gillian is like a ship adrift, with no anchor.

Meanwhile, more Scottish parents are choosing homeschooling due to concerns about classroom violence, declining education quality, and what they see as excessive promotion of ‘LGBT’ issues in schools.

RSHE a threat to education

The Department for Education’s latest guidance acknowledges the risk posed by gender ideologies to children.

Teachers are advised against presenting disputed views as facts, including the idea of gender as a spectrum.

It also recognises that teaching children to question their gender could lead to unnecessary confusion.

The Cass Review highlighted the serious risks associated with ‘transitioning’ for children’s health and well-being.

These concepts should never have been part of RSHE classes.

Unable to define a woman?

John Swinney, Scotland’s new First Minister, has faced criticism for his handling of questions about whether he considers ‘trans women’ to be women.

Initially, he defined a woman as ‘an adult female born as a woman’, leading feminists to argue they are born as girls.

Mr. Swinney later stated, ‘I also accept that transgender women are defined as women’, without specifying the source of this definition. Despite his assurance that his government won’t endanger the safety of women and girls, feminist leaders found his response misleading and confusing.

Some critics accused him of playing word games reminiscent of Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ to avoid giving a clear answer.

This controversy arose after Swinney previously dodged the same question, drawing criticism from JK Rowling for his evasive tactics.

The question

It is not unreasonable to ask why there’s suddenly so much concern.The Conservative Party has been in power for fourteen years.

Rishi Sunak now voices worries about what children, the same age as his daughters, might be learning in schools. Has this realisation just dawned on him?

Why target children under nine, leaving primary schools to confront older students with overly explicit material?

The Bible says,
Prov 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Deuteronomy 6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Furthermore, why focus solely on sex education when propaganda and indoctrination creep in through relationship education? Why permit teachers to promote gender ideology at all? Why not simply declare it false and prohibit it? Why offer ‘guidance’ that schools can disregard, instead of enacting laws to enforce it?

Meanwhile, it wasn’t until the Cass Report that Gillian Keegan had a realisation and recognised the biological reality of male and female.

Additionally, why have they not yet repealed the Gender Recognition Act of 2004 and the Equality Act of 2010?

Lawmakers serve as gate keepers of this country. Therefore it is imperative they reflect on their arrogance and ignorance, humbly seeking the wisdom of the Lord.

Moreso, it is time to enact laws that align with God’s principles, instead of endangering children and the British people in pursuit of woke ideologies.

Single-sex toilets to be mandatory in non-residential buildings in England

Campaign group calls courts’ inaction absurd as single-sex provision remains unenforced

Single-sex toilets will now be required in non-residential buildings in England, according to a new government directive.

New restaurants, offices, and hospitals will now be mandated to provide separate male and female toilets. The government claim these new requirements ‘aim to ensure that individuals of all genders have access to appropriate facilities’. But what exactly does the term ‘all genders’ mean?

This law mandates that newly constructed non-residential buildings must offer separate facilities, rather than solely providing ‘universal’ lavatories.

Access to appropriate facilities

The guideline states: ‘The new legislation follows the results of a consultation on the proposals, where responses showed 81% agreed with the intention for separate single-sex toilet facilities and 82% agreed with the intention to provide universal toilets where space allows.

‘A universal toilet is self-contained, and a fully enclosed toilet room with a wash hand basin for individual use’.

The government emphasises that these new requirements aim to ensure that individuals of all genders have access to appropriate facilities, whether through separate single-sex spaces or ‘universal’ toilets. While this is a commendable step by the government, we maintain that it also enables ‘trans’ ideologies. Gender identity is a lie sold to the public.

‘Privacy denied’

Minister for Women and Equalities, Kemi Badenoch, stated that the move will help combat the rise of “gender-neutral” toilet spaces, which she said “deny privacy and dignity to both men and women”.

Last week, MS. Badenoch said girls at a school who did not have access to single-sex toilets developed urinary tract infections (UTIs) because they did not want to use gender-neutral toilets.

She asked people to report public bodies that fail to provide single-sex spaces or have policies not in accordance with the Equality Act. She did not name the school or further substantiate the claim.

The Equalities minister also said the move shows the government’s commitment to “ensuring single-sex spaces are protected for all” after plans to overhaul the NHS constitution by limiting the use of gender-neutral wards.

What this means for England

These changes will mean patients in England will have the right to be treated on single-sex wards and ‘transgender people’ will be treated in single rooms.

In a statement about the legislation, Kemi Badenoch said: ‘Today’s announcement will also create better provision for women so that our particular biological, health and sanitary needs are met.

‘This is following our work last week limiting the use of mixed-sex wards in the NHS and demonstrates how this government is committed to ensuring single-sex spaces are protected for all.’

In England, government guidelines concerning young people in schools mandate the maintenance of separate toilets and changing facilities for girls and boys aged eight and above. These guidelines also permit staff and students to disregard pronouns preferred by socially transitioning children and allow for the segregation of sport and physical education activities by sex in cases of safety concerns.

While colleges are not bound by the same legal requirements, ministers stress that equivalent considerations regarding safeguarding should be upheld.

Dignity for women and girls

Minister for Housing, Lee Rowley, said the government is clear that single-sex spaces are essential for ensuring privacy and dignity for women and girls.

‘We know all members of society value safety, privacy and dignity, and this new legislation will help ensure the right facilities are in place for everyone.

‘It is vital that new buildings, particularly in public spaces, are serving the community with right toilet provision’,he added.

Meanwhile, Changes to building regulations will ensure that separate single-sex toilets facilities are provided for men and women. Also, self-contained, universal toilets may be provided in addition to single-sex toilets, where space allows.

Additionally, self-contained universal toilets may be provided instead of single-sex toilets only where lack of space reasonably precludes provision of single-sex toilet accommodation.

Same-sex toilet policy criticised

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), which represents HR professionals, has criticised the government’s same-sex toilet policy.

The pro-trans institution said: ‘It is discriminatory under the Equality Act 2010 to prevent a trans person from using the bathroom they wish to.

‘Therefore, it cannot be routine practice to exclude trans people from same sex facilities and each case should be assessed on its own merits’.

Meanwhile, Maya Forstater, chief executive of gender critical group Sex Matters, said she plans to report CIPD to the Government over its approach.

She has specifically referred to the HR body’s official advice, which states that ‘refusing to allow a transgender or non-binary person to use the facilities they feel most comfortable in may be discrimination’.

Ms Forstater said: ‘We think the CIPD’s guidance on trans and non-binary should be scrapped and started again, it’s written in a way that sounds like it’s taking everyone into account but it’s not usable’.

Her comments come after Equalities Minister Kemi Badenoch last week urged the public to give examples of state bodies failing to provide single-sex spaces, such as toilets, changing rooms and female-only gym classes.

NHS to declare that sex is a matter of biology

The NHS is to declare that sex is a matter of biology in a landmark shift against gender ideology, a government document has shown.

According to the government’s proposal, ‘transgender women’ (biological men) should not be put on single-sex female NHS wards.

The NHS constitution, a document that aims to set out the principles and values of the health service and legal rights for patients and staff, was last updated in 2015. It has to be updated at least every 10 years by the Secretary of State.

Health Secretary Victoria Atkins said it was about making it clear that ‘sex matters’.

‘We want to make it abundantly clear that if a patient wants same-sex care, they should have access to it wherever reasonably possible,’ she said.

‘By putting this in the NHS Constitution, we’re highlighting the importance of balancing the rights and needs of all patients, to make a healthcare system that is faster, simpler and fairer to all.’

Same-sex accommodation v.s intimate care

For the first time, the proposal stress’ the importance of biological sex when it comes to same-sex accommodation and intimate care.

In both cases, the rights are available only where possible.

For instance, while same-sex accommodation rights have long been established, they can be breached in cases of urgent clinical necessity for admitting and treating patients. However, these rights do not extend to critical care or accident and emergency areas.

The proposed guidance also mean that ‘trans men’ should not be housed in single-sex male wards.

Meanwhile, in 2021, NHS guidance said trans patients could be placed in single-sex wards based on the gender with which they identified.

‘Defining sex as biological sex’

The proposal states: ‘We are defining sex as biological sex’.

Under the new proposal, ‘transgender people’ whose gender identity differs from their biological sex, may be provided single rooms, where appropriate.

patients will have the right to request a person of the same biological sex delivers any intimate care.

‘Recognising the concerns that patients may have about sharing hospital accommodation with patients of the opposite sex, we propose to amend the pledge to reflect the legal position on the provision of same-sex services and on which transgender patients can be offered separate accommodation as a proportionate means to a legitimate aim’, the proposal added.

The Equality Act 2010

The Equality Act 2010 expressly allows for the provision of single-sex or separate-sex services if certain conditions are met. It also allows for ‘transgender persons’ with the protected characteristic of gender reassignment to be provided a different service

Therefore the new proposal aim to include additional wording to the pledge on sleeping accommodation to state:

‘If you are admitted to hospital, you will not have to share sleeping accommodation with patients of the opposite biological sex, except where appropriate.

‘For example, a single room in a hospital – if it is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim’.

Cass Review sparks health charter change

The changes to the constitution are a further indication of a change in attitudes after the Cass review into the NHS’s gender identity services found evidence that allowing children to change gender was built on weak foundations.

Dr Hilary Cass, a paediatrician, said allowing “social transitioning” for young people – when they are treated as the opposite gender – could “change their trajectory” and lead to them pursuing a potentially damaging medical pathway in later life.

The updates to the constitution will also include the introduction of a duty to help patients get back to work and embed “Martha’s Rule” into the framework of the health service.

Martha’s Rule

Martha’s rule enables patients and their families to seek an urgent independent clinical review of their/ a loved one’s condition if they feel their concerns are not being listened to by the treating team.

The Rule is empowering for patients and their families and provides an opportunity for them to be heard.

The rule came after Martha Mills died in 2021 after developing sepsis in hospital, where she had been admitted with a pancreatic injury after falling off her bike.

Martha’s family’s concerns about her deteriorating condition were not responded to, and in 2023 a coroner ruled that Martha would probably have survived had she been moved to intensive care earlier.

Cass review: Professionals ‘too scared to speak up’

Dr. Hilary Cass has published her final gender review report after a four-year wait, following her interim report in 2022.

The Cass review found that critical thinking and open debate are fundamental elements in scientific and medical research. However, the Guardian reports she found professionals in the industry ‘are increasingly scared to openly discuss their views on the treatment of children questioning their gender identity’.

An overview of the key findings said, ‘There is no simple explanation for the increase in the numbers of predominantly young people and young adults who have a “trans” or gender diverse identity, but there is broad agreement that it is a result of a complex interplay between biological, psychological and social factors.’

Conflicting views and clinical approach

In her review, Dr. Cass stated: ‘There are conflicting views about the clinical approach, with expectations of care at times being far from usual clinical practice.’

This, according to the report, has made some clinicians fearful of working with gender-questioning young people, despite their presentation being similar to many children and young people presenting to other NHS services.

‘An appraisal of international guidelines for care and treatment of children and young people with gender incongruence found that that no single guideline could be applied in its entirety to the NHS in England’, it added.

Not enough evidence

The gender review further states that while a considerable amount of research has been published in this field, systematic evidence reviews demonstrated the poor quality of the published studies, meaning there is not a reliable evidence base upon which to make clinical decisions, or for children and their families to make informed choices.

‘The strengths and weaknesses of the evidence base on the care of children and young people are often misrepresented and overstated, both in scientific publications and social debate.

‘The controversy surrounding the use of medical treatments has taken focus away from what the individualised care and treatment is intended to achieve for individuals seeking support from NHS gender services.’

No rationale for puberty blockers

Christian Voice has always maintained that there is no justification for the use of puberty blockers, regardless of who it is being administered to.

The Bible says,
Luke 5:31-32 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

‘The rationale for early puberty suppression remains unclear, with weak evidence regarding the impact on gender dysphoria, mental or psycho-social health. The effect on cognitive and psycho-sexual development remains unknown,’ according to Dr. Cass’ findings.

‘The use of masculinising / feminising hormones in those under the age of 18 also presents many unknowns, despite their longstanding use in the adult transgender population. The lack of long-term follow-up data on those commencing treatment at an earlier age means we have inadequate information about the range of outcomes for this group.

‘Clinicians are unable to determine with any certainty which children and young people will go on to have an enduring trans identity.’

NHS gender services refused to participate

It has been disclosed that the NHS gender services astonishingly chose not to take part in the research process of the Cass Review.

In an email to John Stewart, the National Director of Specialised Commissioning at NHS England and NHS Improvement, Dr. Hilary wrote: ‘It is therefore hugely disappointing that the NHS gender services have decided not to participate with this research. I am frustrated on behalf of the young people and their families that the opportunity to reduce some of the uncertainties around care options has not been taken.

‘Ultimately, the NHS is an evidence-based service with a responsibility to maintain the safety
of those in its care. Understanding more about what support people who attended the Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) received, and whether this helped them, will provide vital evidence to assist young people, their families, and the clinicians working with them to make informed decisions about the right pathway for them.’

She requested that NHS England consider how the objectives of this study could be achieved even after the completion of the Review.

Exercise extreme caution

Rishi Sunak, responding to the final review, said: ‘The findings have “shone a spotlight” on the need to “exercise extreme caution”,

The prime minister told LBC : ‘We care above all about the well-being of children and it’s clear that these things are not neutral acts, whether that’s social transitioning, any kind of medical intervention, we simply do not know the long-term effects of these things.

‘And that’s why anyone involved in considering these issues, of course, has to treat people with sensitivity and compassion, but also have to be extremely cautious when it comes to taking any action.’

The UK Government interfering in Nepal- why?

The UK government’s efforts to promote sodomy have extended beyond its borders to Nepal.

The British government, through its Embassy in Kathmandu (BEK), is offering funding to support “LGBTQ” groups across the country.

BEK has invited organisations to submit project proposals that support “LGBT+” awareness, advocacy, and artistic expressions.

The funding

A statement published on the BEK’s official website says: ‘There is a small pot of funding to scale up our ambition to support LGBT+ awareness, advocacy, and artistic expression in Nepal.’

According to the statement, the UK government is set to provide a maximum of 3 types of funding; ‘To support the showcase artist creativity and visibility, the catalytic advocacy fund,and the capability/ awareness-raising activities fund.’

The catalytic advocacy fund is majorly to on promote and expand “LGBT+ rights” and awareness in Nepal, while the capability funding is to provide training that will increase capability, awareness and understanding on “LGBT+ rights,” correct terminology and how to be a proactive ally in Nepal for organisations in the development sector including BEK.

“LGBT” rights in Nepal

The Nepalese constitution recognises ‘LGBT rights’ as ‘fundamental’, despite there being no right to commit sodomy or ‘change gender’ in any international instrument. In any event this still does not give the British government the right to interfere in Nepal’s internal affairs.

On 28 June 2023, a single judge bench of Justice Til Prasad Shrestha issued a historic interim order directing the government to make necessary arrangements to “temporarily register” the marriages of “same-sex couples and sexual minorities”.

The full bench of the Supreme Court has yet to deliver a final verdict. However, the first odd marriage of a “trans woman” (a man) and another man was held in November 2023.

‘Gay-marriage’ a threat to family unit

According to the Scriptures, promoting or legalising sodomy is a threat to the family unit ordained by God.

As the Bible says,
Mark 10:7-9 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Psalm 127 3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: And the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Anti- gay campaigners argue that while not all married couples have children, and not all marriages are happy, heterosexual marriage has long been seen as the cornerstone of a stable society. However, in recent decades, there has been a significant increase in marital breakdowns and acceptance of cohabitation, leading to a lack of paternal role models for many young men.

Despite governments acknowledging this issue, they have been hesitant to take effective measures, citing diversity and tolerance as reasons for inaction.

Same-sex “marriage” doesn’t make things better, especially when children are involved. They become subjects in a new social experiment where deliberately depriving them of a parent of the opposite sex is considered acceptable.

Christianity is the fifth most practised faith in Nepal, with the 2011 census indicating 375,699 Christians, approximately 1.4% of the population. However, estimates from informed observers suggest a larger presence, possibly exceeding 1 million Nepali Christians.

According to most Christian groups, the number could be as high as 3 million, potentially comprising up to 10% of the nation’s population.

Meanwhile, a report from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary identified the Nepali church as the fastest-growing globally. While the majority of Nepali Christians identify as evangelical Protestants, there is also a small Catholic community, estimated at around 10,000 individuals.

Clearly, this is not a country to push or promote “LGBTQ” ideologies, and what’s worst luring them with mouth watering funding.

The Bible says,

And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

Pro sodomy NGOs in Nepal such as; the Blue Diamond Society,Body and data, Inclusive Forum Nepal, Mitini Nepal, Newa Queer, Sahaayam Nepal, amongst others have the support of international agents.

These agents are Marie Stopes International, Stonewall, Human Rights Watch, LGBT Program, Afghan Women’s Resource Center, the World Congress of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Jews. The list is endless.

Meanwhile, publicly calling for applications and proposal submissions to dish out funding could potentially mean disaster for Nepal, which could see more people registering “LGBT” organisations just to have access to the funds. This actions threatens not only the family unit, but also Nepal’s cultural values.

Schools across the UK are socially transitioning children to the opposite sex behind their parents’ backs.

An investigation into over 600 schools ‘ transgender and equality policies found up to three quarters of those surveyed misrepresented sex and gender protection laws, while some were content to enforce gender-neutral rules like letting children decide which gender’s toilets and changing rooms they wanted to use.

Meanwhile, Dr. Cass’ review into how the NHS should care for children and adolescents with “gender dysphoria” is due to be published this week.

The findings of the review by the leading consultant paediatrician, Hilary Cass, will shape NHS England’s new services for children and young people who are questioning their gender identity or experiencing “gender incongruence.”

Playing the gender card

Schools in England, Wales, and Scotland are reportedly calling boys ‘she’ and girls ‘he’. The social transitioning leads inevitably down a pathway where rogue doctors give adolescents hormonal drugs known as puberty blockers which prevent the perfectly normal process of growing up.

The next step is when amoral surgeons carry our so-called gender-affirming surgery mutilation, such as the removal of a girl’s perfectly healthy breasts. Yes, as the Bible says, you can have lying doctors of no value.

Job 13:4 But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.

In the meantime, Dr Hilary Cass in her yet to be published report is expected to say that children face grave psychological harm if they are allowed to ‘socially transition’.

Would you not trust teachers to research that obvious truth if they cared about the children in their charge? And to involve parents, whom Almighty God gave the responsibility to bring up those children?

Yet one mother only discovered her daughter was being allowed to ‘change gender’ when teachers called the 13-year-old ‘he’ at a parents’ evening.

Government officials respond

Miriam Cates MP, a former teacher – said: ‘This research is highly concerning as it shows that a significant proportion of schools still have policies that are consistent with neither the law nor safeguarding.

‘To keep children safe, adults must always know and be truthful about whether a child is male or female, and any policy that allows or encourages teachers to ‘transition’ children is clearly wrong.

‘Too many schools have swallowed activist interpretations of the Equality Act by falsely stating that ‘gender identity’ is a protected characteristic, which it is not.’

A Department for Education spokesman said: ‘We are absolutely clear about the importance of biological sex, particularly in the context of safeguarding, and the role parents must play in decisions about their children.

‘Schools and colleges are expected to follow all guidance issued by the Government, whether it is statutory or not… Our guidance is clear that in nearly every case schools should not support the social transition of primary aged children, including not using pronouns that do not align with the child’s sex.’

Church of England or gender?

A trust has advised teachers to assist girls to use breast binders on school trips and allowed students to sleep in bedrooms which matched their ‘gender identity’. That trust includes a number of Church of England primary schools. Breast binders cause no end of physical and psychological problems.

Astonishingly, the Church of England even asked the fanatically pro-trans Stonewall lobby group to fund its trans guidance. No surprise that the report, sneakily called ‘Valuing All God’s Children’ said primary schoolchildren can be transgender. The guide remains in use nationwide. Accepting a child’s delusion is to value them? No, that is a lie.

The Lord Jesus said:
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Gender ideology before children’s well-being

In January 2024, it emerged a boy of 4 was allowed to join a Church of England school as a girl. Parents said the boy’s true sex was hidden from his classmates. They were said to be traumatised when they learned the truth.

Would you not expect the leaders of our established church to follow the prophet Ezekiel and teach the difference between holy and profane, to discern right from wrong, truth from lies?

In England and Northern Ireland, but not in Wales and Scotland, the NHS have stopped prescribing puberty blockers for under-18s. But why are doctors in England still allowed to apply for special dispensation to prescribe the drugs in ‘exceptional circumstances’?

Pro-trans activists have gained power in both the educational and health establishment UK-wide. It is concerning that gender ideology is being prioritised above the well-being of children.

Can parents trust teachers?

It is unfortunate that parents in the United Kingdom are increasingly feeling unable to trust teachers. Even if individual teachers are not personally focused on transgender ideology, they may work within educational institutions that prioritise it.

Despite knowing the difference between right and wrong, some educators may choose to conceal questionable practices from parents.

Therefore, it’s crucial to bear in mind that you have a legal right to express the truth. Always use pronouns that correspond to biological, genetically determined sex rather than invented ‘gender’ concepts.

Additionally, it’s important to remember that under Article 2 of the First Protocol of the Human Rights Act, ‘the State shall respect the right of parents to ensure that education and teaching are in line with their own religious and philosophical beliefs.’

Scots ridicule new Hate Crime Act

Scotland’s controversial new hate crime laws have been implemented. But bemused Scots are ridiculing the measure.

The Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act came into force on April 1. Sponsors of the Act claims it aims to “provide greater protection for victims and communities”.

Suppress free speech

A person commits an offence under the Act if they communicate material, or behave in a manner, “that a reasonable person would consider to be threatening or abusive”, with the intention of stirring up hatred based on the ‘protected characteristics’.

The new regulations will “address the harm caused by hatred and prejudice”. However, critics argue that they will suppress free speech and be weaponised to “settle scores”.

The legislation combines current laws and introduces fresh offences for behaviour that ‘aims to incite hatred based on prejudices against various characteristics such as age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, and “transgender” identity’.

Weaponised to “settle scores”

There are concerns that innocent people could end up on police databases with controversial new hate crime laws in Scotland being weaponised to “settle scores”.

The director of campaign group For Women Scotland, told Sky News: ‘Much of this is very vague as stirring up offences seems to be based on someone’s perception that someone is being hateful towards them, and they can make a complaint and the police are saying they will investigate everything.

‘We know that there are people out there who have lists of people they are looking to target.

According to Susan Smith, the officials who supports the bill are seeing this as an opportunity to “settle scores and make political points”.

“Misgendering” a crime?

Sex has been omitted from the act as a standalone bill designed to tackle misogyny. It might be laid before the Scottish parliament at a later date.

When asked whether ‘misgendering’ someone on the internet was a crime under the new law, Siobhian Brown MSP, minister for victims and community safety, said on Monday morning: ‘It would be a police matter for them to assess what happens.

‘It could be reported and it could be investigated – whether or not the police would think it was criminal is up to Police Scotland.’

During the interview with BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme, she added: ‘There is a very high threshold which is in the act which would be up to Police Scotland, and what would have to be said online or in person would be threatening and abusive.’ But according to her, it is subjective.

Scots are laughing at the new law.

Scots are having some fun with the new law. Anyone can report a hate crime to Police Scotland, not just the alleged victim, and the force has pledged to investigate every report it receives. The public have taken full advantage.

In the first 24 hours alone, Spiked Online reported: ‘an astonishing 3,800 so-called hate crimes were reported to the police – at a rate of around 60 complaints per hour. This is well above the 790 daily crime reports of all types that police in Scotland had to deal with last year. Given that Police Scotland have pledged to investigate every single report of hate, it is surely only a matter of time before they are completely overwhelmed.’

The Telegraph reports the force is hastily recruiting extra personnel to cope with the deluge. Many of the reports from the public concern the anti-white remarks made by Humza Yousaf himself in the Scottish Parliament during a debate on Black Lives Matter and the murder of George Floyd in 2020. See our report here. Of course those remarks will not be investigated. They were made before the Act came into force, and in any case, the Scots elite, white or not, will never investigate one of their own.

The public have also made complaints about Siobhian Brown. Spiked say: ‘Scots have no idea what speech could fall foul of the law. It hasn’t helped that Police Scotland’s own publicity states that deciding what is hateful comes down to an individual’s perception. Who is Siobhian Brown to say that Yousaf’s rant against white Scots was not “hateful”?’

‘Hatred has been far too pervasive in our society’

Scottish First Minister, Humza Yousaf, speaking about the new legislation on Sky News said: ‘In terms of acts of hatred, I think anybody would recognise in the last few years… hatred has been far too pervasive in our society.

‘We have to take strong action against it. We have to have a zero-tolerance approach to it.

‘I’ve got every confidence in police investigating matters of hatred appropriately, and of course making sure that we protect freedom of expression so vital to our democracy.”

JK Rowling criticises new hate speech law

Harry Potter author, J K Rowling, has criticised the new hate crime laws.

Rowling posted several remarks on X, speaking out against “transgender women”, including those who were incarcerated in women’s prisons.

‘I’m currently out of the country, but if what I’ve written here qualifies as an offence under the terms of the new act, I look forward to being arrested when I return to the birthplace of the Scottish Enlightenment.’

She said the new legislation ‘is wide open to abuse by activists who wish to silence those of us speaking out about the dangers of eliminating women’s and girls’ single-sex spaces’.

The 58-year-old argued: ‘It is impossible to accurately describe or tackle the reality of violence and sexual violence committed against women and girls, or address the current assault on women’s and girls’ rights, unless we are allowed to call a man a man’.

PM, a free speech champion?

Among those who praised Rowling for her opposition to the Hate Crime Act was UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

He defended her by stating that individuals should not face criminalisation for stating basic biological facts and affirmed that his Conservative Party will always safeguard free speech.

However, before we laud Rishi Sunak as a champion of free speech, it’s important to note that the rest of the UK doesn’t necessarily provide a safe place for unrestricted thought and expression. Beyond Scotland, there exist stringent hate speech laws. Christian street preachers are frequently arrested and charged for publicly preaching the word of God.

NHS bans puberty blockers for children

The NHS has banned the prescription of puberty blockers to children in England.

The decision stems from an independent review of services for children under 18 and a sharp rise in referrals to the Gender Identity Development Service run by the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.

These clinics are set to shut down as a result of the findings, marking the end of their services by the close of March.

Not enough evidence of safety

The NHS has stated that its decision is based on insufficient evidence supporting the safety or clinical effectiveness of puberty blockers.

‘Puberty blockers are not available to children and young people for gender incongruence or gender dysphoria because there is not enough evidence of safety and clinical effectiveness.

‘From around the age of 16, young people with a diagnosis of gender incongruence or gender dysphoria who meet various clinical criteria may be given gender-affirming hormones alongside psychosocial and psychological support.’

Flawed NHS decision

The decision by the NHS to ban the prescription of puberty blockers is a welcome development. However, it is significantly flawed with the clause of still giving ‘young children diagnosed with “gender dysphoria” gender-affirming hormones.’

Our Lord said,

Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, He said unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Given the clauses attached above, it is crucial to enact a ban on hormone-altering injections for individuals of all ages.

‘Children’s safety and well-being is paramount’

Health minister, Maria Caulfield, said: ‘We have always been clear that children’s safety and wellbeing is paramount, so we welcome this landmark decision by the NHS.

‘Ending the routine prescription of puberty blockers will help ensure that care is based on evidence, expert clinical opinion and is in the best interests of the child.’

The consultation on the future of services received more than 4,000 responses, including around a quarter from members of the public, 22% from patients, 21% from parents, 10% from trans adults and 5% from clinicians.

In February 2022, Dr Cass published an interim report saying there was a need to move away from one unit and recommended the creation of regional services to better support youngsters.

She also pointed to a lack of long-term evidence and data collection on what happens to children and young people who are prescribed medication.

She added that Gids had not collected routine and consistent data “which means it is not possible to accurately track the outcomes and pathways that children and young people take through the service.”
