Football doctor in ‘flat earth’ slur

A football league team doctor has characterised players refusing the Covid-19 vaccination as easily-led and likened them to flat-earthers during a BBC broadcast.

Rochdale AFC’s Dr Wesley Tensel told BBC mid-day news on 5th October that players will be watching ‘misinformation’ about Covid or vaccines on social media. One video links to another, he told viewers, and ‘pretty soon you are believing the earth is flat’.

This refusal to grant players basic intelligence comes from a man who Sportsmail reports called for the whole football league season to be stopped in December 2020 amid a rise in cases at the time. In the event, some games were postponed including two involving Rochdale but the season continued.

Cryptocurrency and Botox

On Twitter, where his self-description includes ‘Property Investor & Cryptocurrency Trader’, Dr Tensel complains: “Whenever I’m running a vaccination clinic I’ll WhatsApp all the boys but it’s got to the point where nobody replies.” He told BBC’s Rachel Burden that ‘anti-vax messages’ mean that only around 20% of his (Rochdale) players are double vaxxed.  The BMJ reports that GP’s receive £12.58 per double-jab administered.

Opiah Cosmetics
Wesley Tensel was linked to Chloe Goodman’s Opiah Cosmetics

The Daily Star reported in 2016 that consultant plastic surgeon Charles Durrant criticised Dr Tensel for providing medical cover to an ex ‘On The Beach’ star called Chloe Goodman for her then Leeds-based clinic Opiah Cosmetics, which provided botox and fillers.

The law states that botox must be prescribed by a doctor or nurse practitioner. It must be prescribed for the actual patient, ideally after a consultation with the prescriber. Miss Goodman, who recently had a baby with Middlesborough defender Grant Hall, stated that she was working with clinical oversight from Dr Tensel. It was not clear if he saw all her botox customers.

Mr Charles, a member of The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons said: “Having a GP prescribe medication that someone else injects into someone’s face is abhorrent really. It’s outrageous.”

The Star reports that when they asked him for a response, Dr Tensel simply stated that Charles Durrant is “entitled to his opinions”. Since 2016, it appears Opiah Cosmetics has moved to Brighton and offers injectable lip fillers but no longer Botox. If you are interested to know the difference, click here. However, a booking site for Opiah refers to ‘btox’ and has ‘The Cutting Room’ in Leeds as a venue.

Wrong side of history

In December 2020 Dr Tensel said football ‘must be included should the government propose another lockdown’. He said football ‘does not want to appear on the wrong side of history’. He went on: ‘With everything that’s going on in 2020 and this massive global pandemic, we’re struggling to get on top of things – you can see the numbers are rising. People can’t go on holiday, they can’t do this, they can’t do that,’ Dr Tensel told Sportsmail.

He went on: ‘If we look back when our kids are at school and they’re doing history of what happened in the pandemic and they see they were still playing football, they were travelling around, it just doesn’t seem to me the wisest thing to be doing.

‘I just feel that, in the grand scheme of things, is football that important in the middle of a pandemic, when I’m seeing lots and lots of people dying with Covid. It doesn’t sit right.’

Games rescheduled

Covid positive test results
Covid positive test results

One week after Dr Tensel called for the season to be stopped, ‘cases’, or rather ‘positive test results’ peaked, on 4th January 2021, and then went down week by week as fast as they had risen. After the winter spike, deaths also followed a downward trend. It was the faint-hearted Dr Tensel who ended up on the wrong side of history.

Deaths within 28 days of a positive Covid test.
Deaths within 28 days of a positive Covid test.

The 2019-2020 season was truncated in March 2020 in the national over-reaction to the Covid epidemic. ‘Project restart’ began in June 2020 with a few ‘tidying-up’ matches held in July.

The first games of the 2020-21 season were held in September 2020. The Premier League announced in December 2020 that clubs had returned 18 positive tests during the latest round of testing. This was the highest since June. Nevertheless, all the games in all the leagues were successfully rescheduled.

Relegated

Finishing in 21st place, Rochdale were relegated after the 2019-20 season from League One to League Two. They currently sit 16th in football’s fourth tier.

Rochdale AFC holds the distinction of having played the most seasons in the English Football League’s bottom two tiers of the four divisions (which are now named ‘Premiership’, ‘Championship’, ‘League One’ and ‘League Two’) without ever reaching the top two tiers or being relegated to the National League.

The club was formed in 1907 and entered the Football League, Third Division North, on 27th August 1921 with a 6-3 win against Accrington. One hundred years in the League is quite an achievement. They will need the Lord’s blessing to remain and progress, and that will only come by following Kingdom principles. Unity is a key Kingdom principle. It commands a blessing, as we know from Psalm 133. People in the club publicly criticisng others in the club does the opposite.

Football’s Refuseniks

The mainstream media have been full of a story that a very sizeable number of Premiership footballers are refusing the vaccine. Yahoo news is airing a Press Association story which says: ‘A report this week suggested only seven of the 20 Premier League clubs have succeeded in fully vaccinating 50 per cent or more of their squads, with the overall average said to be approximately one-third of all players. Due to medical confidentiality the Premier League will not confirm exact numbers.’

Health Secretary Sajid Javid MP
Disappointed: Health Secretary Sajid Javid MP

At least five members of the England squad are reportedly among them. Health Secretary Sajid Javid has said it is ‘disappointing’ and that ‘the players are role models who could play a part in encouraging others to get the jab.’

But that works both ways. They can be role models, even in the changing room, encouraging others who in conscience or for health reasons are refusing it.

‘Misinformation’ online

Sports minister Nigel Huddleston blamed the poor uptake on ‘misinformation online.’ It’s always ‘misinformation online’. He said the government were working ‘with social media companies to tackle fake news about vaccinations’. Government propaganda must prevail.

However, after a briefing from England’s deputy chief medical officer Jonathan Van-Tam, England football manager Gareth Southgate said: ‘What we do know is that, even with the vaccination, it’s not going to stop people catching it.’

Mr Southgate went on confirming the point, which is not ‘misinformation’: ‘Even if they are vaccinated, we still have to take those precautions because they can still catch it and therefore be ruled out of games, so it’s a strange one for us.

‘I … understand young people are going to have individual views on how they see it and they’re going to be influenced by what they read and what they see, so it is a far from straightforward cycle.’

Are players that stupid, Doctor?

Some media have said that black and ethnic minority players are the most likely to refuse the vaccine. That may be true, but the Rochdale first team has just three black players in its 23-man squad and yet Dr Tensel says only 20% of the whole Rochdale squad have been double-vaxxed.

In any event, surely, as their team doctor, Dr Tensel should be supporting players rather than accusing them of being so stupid they are unable to form their own opinion of the comparative risk from the virus and the vaccine or saying they are so easily led by what they see online that they are about to believe the earth is flat.

But such conceit can so easily happen when you decide that only you are right and so much cleverer than those who merely kick a ball about. Without for a moment doubting his motives, the doctor is nevertheless promoting a view acceptable to the arrogant men in power. But the Bible says:

Proverbs 16:19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

More risk from vaccine

With a humble spirit, Dr Tensel should recognise that those who have decided not to be vaccinated have sought out knowledge, not ‘misinformation’. They know they are at little risk from the Covid virus. The worst case was Newcastle goalkeeper Karl Darlow who was laid out with it for a month but is now recovering.

Players also know there are risks, chiefly possible heart inflammation, particularly for young men, with the vaccine, especially in those double-vaccinated.

The US Centers for Disease Control say: ‘Cases of myocarditis reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) external icon have occurred: After mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), especially in male adolescents and young adults.’ Evidence is also piling up from Israel, Canada, Ireland, Europe and the UK. It was one reason the UK’s JCVI gave not to recommend vaccines for adolescent school-children. Concerns of an “increased incidence” of heart inflammation diseases myocarditis and pericarditis following inoculation, especially after the second dose is the reason Iceland, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, have all stopped giving the Moderna vaccine to young men.

Furthermore, AstraZeneca’s vaccine is not recommended in the UK for under-18’s at all, because of the risk of thrombosis (blood clots), which although rare could be ‘devastating’, according to consultant haematologist Dr Sue Pavord.

Any of these vaccine ill-effects would be self-inflicted and could end a football career. Players are not about to sacrifice themselves and their short careers in the faint hope that they might protect someone else. Particularly not when the Government and the England football manager have admitted they can still pass the virus on, vaccinated or not. Delving down to that knowledge makes them prudent and wise, in Bible language:

Proverbs 18:15 The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

Prayer

Proverbs 15:33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.

2Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Pray that Almighty God will vindicate and sustain those who in good conscience resist all the pressure and refuse the experimental Covid vaccines.

May he bring an end to the oppression of restrictions and consign the unjust lockdowns to the history books. May he grant repentance, humility and the fear of God to those in power.

Plan B’s Vaccine Passports – Respond!

passport on phone

passport on phoneThe Government are consulting on whether to introduce vaccine passports under what Mr Johnson has called ‘Plan B’ for England.
‘Plan B’ would come in ‘at short notice’ and would involve a new ‘Project Fear’, passports and reintroducing masks ‘If the data suggests the NHS is likely to come under unsustainable pressure’.

No evidence ‘measures’ work

A Government proposal (linked here) published on 27th September 2021 was entitled: ‘Proposal for mandatory COVID certification in a Plan B scenario.’ It says: ‘The government’s Plan B prioritises measures which can help control transmission of the virus while seeking to minimise economic and social impacts.’

This is just an assertion. There is no supporting evidence that they ‘can help control transmission of the virus’ anywhere in the documents. Such evidence simply does not exist.

The measures include:
(1) ‘Communicating clearly and urgently to the public that the level of risk has increased, and with it the need to behave more cautiously’,
(2) ‘Introducing mandatory vaccine-only COVID-status certification in certain settings’ and

Responding

This link takes you straight to the consultation itself.

You will be asked to give your name and contact email. I want them to contact me. If you represent an organisation, tick ‘other’, otherwise tick ‘member of the public’ However, there appears nowhere to say you are responding on behalf of an organisation.

Under ‘settings’ it says: ‘the government expects that mandatory vaccine-only certification for visitors to venues and events, and vaccine-or-test certification for the workforce would be introduced for the following venues and events:’

There follows a list of events. You are asked if you think the list is (a) ‘too narrow’ or (b) captures too many settings’. You tick that one, because ‘not at all’ is not an option.

Exclude all venues

However, you have an opportunity to say that on the next page: ‘which should be excluded’. I said:

“All of them. Covid certification should not come in at all. It is intrusive and will harm any setting where it is introduced. There is no evidence it has worked anywhere or will work to reduce virus spread. Imperial College have found vaccinated people can still spread the virus. In June the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee concluded ‘Covid passports are not the answer’ to effectively managing the pandemic. The Committee warned they could ‘cause great damage socially and economically.’. Its chairman described covid passports as ‘unnecessary and there is no justification for them in the science and none in logic’.”

The next page asks about vaccine status. I don’t mind whether people are vaccinated or not. I strongly disagree with certificates for both visitors and staff. So I tick those bullets.

The next two questions assume certification. I click ‘Don’t know’ for both then clarify that response in the ‘additional comments’ box: ‘Venues should not have certification so there should be no requirement on staff to be vaccinated or tested.’.

Exempt everyone

On the next page you can make clear that ‘other groups’ should be exempt. Clarify that on the next page to say ‘everyone should be exempt and covid certification should not come in at all’.

The next page needs bluntness and clarity. There are no groups who would benefit from certificates and all will be disadvantaged.

Finally, in the last comment box, I said this:

“The government official review of vaccine certificates published in July ruled Whitehall ‘will not mandate the use of Covid-status certification as a condition of entry for visitors to any setting,’ on the basis that the ‘burden’ of such a mandate would be ‘disproportionate’ to any public health benefit accrued. The Government must stick to that pledge.“Only this morning the BBC reported that Portugal has just scrapped the requirement to present a negative Covid test result or certificate of vaccination in hotels.“Instead of certification and vaccinating school-children the Government should scrap all plans for further restrictions, repeal the legislation, and get back to normal before nit is too late to save vast swathes of the economy and people’s livelihoods.”

As to ‘What could we do better?’ my answer is: ‘Include the option to say no to certification altogether.’

You write as you see fit, then click ‘Submit’.

’Pointless’

Mark Harper MP, chairman of the Covid recovery Group, tweeting as @Mark_J_Harper, said this about the certification measure earlier this week:

‘Very disappointing to see this vaccine passport proposal. No evidence published to justify it. No commitment to a Parliamentary vote in advance’.

He went on: ‘Vaccine passports are *still*: Pointless, Damaging, Discriminatory.’

We agree. You can also Use this link to the UK Parliament website to email your MP to ask that the Plan B proposal for vaccine certificates is scrapped. Frankly, you can tell your MP, after eighteen months of Covid-awareness, and with the winter flu season due to start in three months time, for the Government to once again suggest the NHS might ‘come under unsustainable pressure’ is to admit an astounding lack of preparation. Why have they not recruited and trained or issued low-cost visas for enough doctors and nurses to make sure the NHS is fit for purpose?

Consultation on Covid Certificates

No 10 Downing Street

No 10 Downing StreetWhen is a vaccine passport not a vaccine passport? When it’s a Covid Certificate, of course.

The Government have a quick-fire consultation out on Covid-status certification, with a closing time of 11:45pm on Monday 29th March 2021. Everyone concerned about religious, social and economic normality, civil liberties and God-given freedoms should pray into this and respond.

Here is an exhaustive suggested reply from Big Brother Watch. It’s informative but you don’t need to go to great lengths. As the saying goes: ‘Just say “No”.’

Even today (Monday 29th) Wetherspoons chief Tim Martin has robustly denounced it as a non-starter and ‘the final straw’ for the hospitality tradein the Daily Telegraph. You need to respond because just being a stupid idea does not mean it will not take a miracle to stop.

Acts 22:28 And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born.

Consultation webpage

On their ‘consultation’ webpage the Government say: ‘The government is reviewing whether COVID-status certification could play a role in reopening our economy, reducing restrictions on social contact and improving safety.’

We say: Just reopen the economy and remove all the restrictions.  People have a God-given right to work:

Psalm 104:23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

They go on: ‘COVID-status certification refers to the use of testing or vaccination data to confirm in different settings that individuals have a lower risk of getting sick with or transmitting COVID-19 to others. Such certification would be available both to vaccinated people and to unvaccinated people who have been tested.’

We say: That is an unwarranted intrusion into people’s medical records. Did they do that last winter for flu? In fact, this author, in company with millions of other ‘refuseniks’, has just refused the Covid vaccine. Nor has he ever had a flu jab.

Psalm 94:22 But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

‘Covid-secure mitigations’

They say: ‘The government will assess to what extent certification would be effective in reducing risk, and its potential uses in enabling access to settings or relaxing COVID-secure mitigations.’

Royal Decree can neither stop the tide nor Covid.
Canute demonstrates how Royal Decree cannot stop the tide – or Covid.

We say: There was never any justification for putting millions out of work in any case.

The idea that any of their ‘COVID-secure mitigations’ made the slightest difference to the course of the Covid-19 disease is on a par with King Canute’s courtiers believing he could turn back the incoming tide by royal decree.

They have now vaccinated, or at least offered the vaccine to, all vulnerable groups and if their vaccines are as good as they say, they have no excuse not to open up all hospitality, events, sports and the arts right now. Why are they dragging their feet? Set the people free!

Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Call for evidence

Finally, they say: ‘We are issuing this call for evidence to inform this review into COVID-status certification, to ensure that the recommendations reflect a broad range of interests and concerns. We welcome views from all respondents.’

Isa 16:5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

This is your opportunity to be a point of witness to tell them not to bring in any form of Covid passport or certificate.

No vaccine passports promise

Gillian Joseph interviews Culture Secretary Oliver Downden MP
Gillian Joseph interviews Culture Secretary Oliver Downden MP

Remember the government have repeatedly pledged not to introduce vaccine passports.

Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden struggled to explain how “Covid-19 certification” for people visiting mass events would differ from “Covid-19 passports.”

RT reports that Mr Dowden told Gillian Joseph of Sky News on Friday his office was ‘working on measures that would allow football games and theatre performances to happen again with as much of an audience as possible’.

However, he spoiled it by saying it needs to be done ‘safely’. The very use of that word instills a false sense of insecurity in people. It’s just more Project Fear.

Mr Dowden reassured Ms Joseph that the certificate “won’t be a vaccine passport” and described it as “a way to facilitate proving” that a person has had a vaccine or a negative Covid test, thus helping “more people get into stadiums.” And into churches?

RT goes on: ‘He wouldn’t offer any details as to how long a certificate would last, or how the system would be policed, simply saying that “those are certainly legitimate questions” and referring to the review. He stressed that having packed venues again “is vital not just for our sense of national well-being, but to the whole national economy”.’

Well of course it is. So just do it.

No Rights in Israel – Bonkers in Brussels

Here is where it will end up: Lockdown Sceptics reports ‘an Israeli court sided with a school over its decision to dismiss a teaching assistant who declined to give proof of vaccination or negative Covid test’. Citing her right to privacy and freedom of conscience availed not. The story is here

Meanwhile, Brussels Times reports on ‘a Belgian Professor’s call for “a new lockdown, a real one, where no one goes to work, including workers or construction workers, and where schools close”. After two to four weeks, restrictions could be “relaxed a bit, if the figures have fallen sufficiently”.’ And king Canute turned the tide with a word.

Ezek 45:9 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD.

I refused the vaccine

Vaccine Jab
Vaccine Jab

Vaccine JabWell, I have now refused The Vaccine. Last Tuesday my phone rang and I saw the incoming phone call was from my GP.

Sure enough, it was the receptionist asking when I wanted to book in for a Covid vaccination.

In response, I told the dear lady my reasons why I would not be turning up. In order of seriousness:

1 Unethical

The vaccine is produced unethically. The manufacturing process uses cells from aborted babies. Sciencemag reports: ‘At least five of the candidate COVID-19 vaccines use one of two human fetal cell lines: HEK-293, a kidney cell line widely used in research and industry that comes from a fetus aborted in about 1972; and PER.C6, a proprietary cell line owned by Janssen, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, developed from retinal cells from an 18-week-old fetus aborted in 1985. Both cell lines were developed in the lab of molecular biologist Alex van der Eb at Leiden University.’

The website asserts that no woman had her baby aborted for the purpose of making vaccines. But that only makes it worse. Not only are the vaccine companies using foetal cell lines, but they did even ask the mothers’ for their permission.

When I told this to the receptionist she responded, ‘Yes, my mother won’t have it for the same reason.’ She went on, ‘I’m not here to persuade anyone. I’m just booking appointments.’ We’ll come back to persuasion later.

2 Unlicensed

In the UK we have a Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, aka the MHRA. It exists, as the name suggests, to regulate medicines and healthcare products. It evaluates them to ensure they are ‘safe and efficacious’ for public use. It its members are so persuaded, they issue a license for the said medicine or product.

None of the vaccines currently flooding the market has been licensed by the MHRA. The Agency has instead given a ‘temporary authorisation’. On its website, the UK Government say this of one such authorisation::

‘This temporary Authorisation under Regulation 174 permits the supply to and by the Crown of COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca, based on the safety, quality and efficacy data submitted by AstraZeneca (AZ) to MHRA in the period from 24/09/2020 to 29/12/2020 December 2020.’

In a Downing Street briefing on 10th February, Boris Johnson said the vaccines are ‘safe and effective’. That is his opinion, and one that is clearly at odds, at least so far, with that of the MHRA.

3 Untested

Which leads to my third reason for refusing the vaccine. It has not been adequately tested. That does not mean it is dangerous as such. It could be perfectly safe to the overwhelming majority. But we just do not know. The papers AstraZeneca submitted to the MHRA speak of a three month testing period. Those three months of tests were neither conducted on the very old nor the very young.

Vaccine funder Bill Gates said in an interview with BBC’s Nicky Campbell in 2020 that two years is the minimum time for going some way to establish the safety of a vaccine. He said if you test a vaccine for just a year, you find many, but not all adverse effects, that may crop up in a year. Test it for two years, and you can be much more sure if it is safe.

Even then, said Mr Gates, the testing team will never find the adverse reactions which affect perhaps one in a hundred thousand. To protect vaccine manufacturers and persuade them to enter the market, governments indemnify them against claims, which could ruin them.

4 Infertility

I was not in a position to give possible effects on fertility as a reason for refusing a vaccine. However, for a woman of child-bearing age this would be of great concern if she were offered an mRNA vaccine such as that produced by Pfizer and Moderna.

In their latest update, dated 28th January 2021, the UK Department of Health say: ‘Administration of the COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine BNT162b2 in pregnancy should only be considered when the potential benefits outweigh any potential risks for the mother and foetus.’ Of course, nobody has yet evaluated the potential risks to allow a woman to make such a decision.

The same webpage, headlined ‘Information for Health Professionals’, also reports on ‘a combined fertility and developmental toxicity study where female rats were intramuscularly administered with the COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine BNT162b2 prior to mating and during gestation’ and asserts: ‘There were no vaccine-related effects on female fertility, pregnancy, or embryo-foetal or offspring development.‘

The DoH provide no reference or weblink at all for this toxicity study. A Public Assessment Report updated as recently as 11th December 2020 from the MHRA admits: ‘A combined fertility and developmental study (including teratogenicity and postnatal investigations) in rats is ongoing.’ That would appear to contradict the DoH.

Impact on Fertility

According to MHRA, information on the effect of the Pfizer jab on pregnancy and lactation is ‘missing’. They recommend the vaccine is not used in these groups until studies conclude. In addition, possible adverse effects on fertility barely merit a mention, aside from the ‘ongoing’ study with rats.

Professor Mike Yeadon worked for Pfizer as Vice President and CSO of its allergy and respiratory research unit. In a letter to the European Medicines Agency, he and public health specialist Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg suggested the vaccine might block the formation of the placenta. They wrote: ‘It must be absolutely ruled out that a vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 could trigger an immune reaction against syncytin-1, as otherwise infertility of indefinite duration could result in vaccinated women.’

The doctors did not say that the vaccine would definitely cause female infertility. But they raised an important question to which Pfizer responded, ‘We are not commenting on this’. It appears Pfizer acknowledge there may be a problem. And if there is one, we won’t know until, for a lot of young women, it is too late.

I would suggest, if you are a woman of child-bearing age or younger and you are determined to be vaccinated, plump for AstraZeneca or Sputnik V and avoid the mRNA versions such as Pfizer and Moderna.

5 Not that serious

It also happens that for young women without any co-morbidity Covid-19 is not that serious. The younger female demographic is the least likely to fall ill, and barely represented in fatalities at all.

Overall, the Covid disease, if a person falls ill with it at all, has a fatality rate of around 0.2% to 0.3%. Two or three people per thousand might succumb. Even then, better treatment, including Ivermectin, Remdesivir, hydroxychloroquine and monoclonal antibodies are all being used and evaluated. There is also now much more use of oxygen and less of the ventilators which were killing people last March. Covid-19 is about as serious as flu, for which we have never panicked or locked down.

That is not to minimise the loss of those who have died from it, but it is merely to put it all into perspective.

Keeping fit and healthy

Vitamins C and D and Zinc will all help boost the immune-system as will regular exercise. I was able to tell the receptionist I am a fit and healthy 60-plus. Above all, I have a policy of not injecting myself with things I don’t need.

On top of that, my wife and I are confident we had the Covid in January 2020. We felt a bit fluey for a week or two then had a persistent dry cough for around three weeks.

No less a person that Professor Neil Ferguson testified by his nocturnal activities in early May last year that having had Covid confers immunity as good as any vaccine. The BBC reported him as saying: ‘I acted in the belief that I was immune, having tested positive for coronavirus and completely isolated myself for almost two weeks after developing symptoms.’

Also, the papers have just reported on data from the King’s College ZOE app, which has logged details from more than 700,000 vaccinations. It found those with a prior infection were far more likely to report side-effects than people who have not had the virus.

The difference between the two was particularly pronounced among those who had been given the Pfizer jab, increasing our concerns about mRNA vaccines in particular.

Personal Choice

My decision is based on the assumption that whether or not to accept the vaccine jab is entirely my valid personal choice. I am not swayed by emotional propaganda that it is my public ‘duty’ to put myself at risk from a vaccine jab in order, possibly, to protect others. They can have the vaccine if they choose or take appropriate precautions and rely on the Almighty:

Psalm 91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Each of us can make his own decision. And mine is to refuse the Covid vaccine.

Prayer and Action

Do pray into this matter, pray for what you should do, act as a point of witness to others and remember to pray for your leaders wherever you are:

Jer 29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
