The world’s first ‘transgender doll’ is appearing at this week’s New York Toy Fair, according to the BBC.

There have been thousands of tweets about the Tonner Doll Company product. The Twitter-sphere is divided between those supporting and those ridiculing the stunt.

So how do you make a ‘transgender doll’? The manufacturers say: ‘This is an 18″ doll, much like that of every other child doll out there.’ ‘The doll itself is hard plastic and vinyl and no specific parts, much like all the dolls we have created …’ Pictures show the doll is wearing girls’ clothing.

Modelled on activist

In fact there is only one thing that makes this a ‘transgender doll’. Its facial features are modelled on a teenage activist born a boy, now living as a female. That is why the doll has a slightly masculine face.

Jazz Jennings shot to fame, says the BBC, after an interview he did about gender dysphoria. Popular US TV presenter Barbara Walters conducted the interview.

Jazz Jennings was only six years old when he went on US television to talk about his gender dysphoria. He is now pretending to be a woman.

We learn from Jazz’s reaction that he is being paid royalties for the doll’s use of his image: “I love her. A portion of my proceeds will be donated to help trans youth who are struggling.”

He goes on: “Of course it is still just a regular girl doll because that’s exactly what I am: a regular girl!” Now 16, Jazz says: “I heavily insisted that I WAS a girl.”

But Jazz, you are not. Protest and insist all you want, but you are and always will be genetically a man.

And Jazz, the doll, Tonner Dolls and the story itself are influencing our cultural environment. They change our perceptions, little by little. Jazz hopes it will “place transgender people in a positive light” In other words, the doll is a campaigning stunt. And it can only add to the adverse pressures on children who may be confused or struggling with gender dysphoria (not liking your gender).

Virtue Signalling

There is another dimension to this. Recently Starbucks said it would take on 10,000 refugees. They made the announcement after President Trump’s ‘travel ban’. US taxi firm Lyft joined the bandwagon. It told the Twitter world it would donate $1 million to the anti-Christian American Civil Liberties Union. There are many more examples. Adidas and Nike praised the contribution of immigrant workers. AirBnB said it would give them free accommodation.

Getting away from refugees, card manufacturers boast of the trees they are planting. Kenco Coffee is training young gang members in Honduras to be coffee farmers. Dove portrays ‘normal’ women rather than models in its Dove Campaign for Real Beauty. Even back in 2015, Coca-Cola removed its logo from its in the Middle East during Ramadan. It replaced it with a message that read “Labels are for cans, not people.” Sales went up.

As we went to press, Apple did a bit of transgender promoting having previously joined the refugee ban protests.

For years we have had celebrities indulging in “virtue signalling”. Bob Geldof wanted to ‘Feed the World’. Singer Lily Allen apologised to a refugee in the Calais jungle. Bono too has been to refugee camps and organised ‘Live8′. He was rewarded with a seat at last weekend’s Munich Security Conference.

Activism Marketing

But we needed another term for brand promotion on the back of social activism. Mathew Dixon, director at brand specialist Hudson Walker, has now coined the term ‘Activism Marketing’ to describe the phenomenon. “It is clear a major change is afoot. Welcome to uber-politicised retail. Forget Sex. Activism is what will make or break a brand in 2017,” he says.

Dixon goes on: “The real challenge around activism marketing is how much to actually promote the philanthropic aspect to a campaign – how much can you tell everyone how generous you are, without it looking insincere? But likewise, what is the point of making a grand gesture or donation and not letting the world know about it? After all, a business has to sell product at the end of the day. The answer probably comes from how deeply embedded these values are within the company culture.”

Alex Holder, writing in the Guardian, is less generous: “Companies are now attempting to outdo each other with major acts of generosity, but there’s a catch; they’ll do good as long as they can make sure their customers know about it. There is no room for humility when a brand does a good deed.”

Starbucks and AirBnB “are helping refugees because it sells milky lattes and cheap holiday accommodation”.

Holder quotes marketing expert Will Fowler, creative director of Headspace. “Our activism is currently mediated by brands,” he says. “Brands are allowing people to pat themselves on the back without them personally having to sacrifice anything.”

Divisive

There is certainly a market into which activism marketing can sell. We were deluged with hostile tweets after our article on AFC Bournemouth. Many tweeters thought it was just great that a football club should finance a youth gay group. Many supported transgender photographer Steve ‘Sophie’ Cook. Those people are Tonner Doll’s market. Buy this doll instead of that doll and a liberal-minded parent can be rewarded with a warm, fuzzy, smug feeling.

But for companies, hazards await. An activism marketing campaign is of its nature divisive. You have to be sure your market is in tune with that activist cause. Starbucks probably have it right. They reckon not many latte drinkers care about the indigenous labour-base. On the other hand, they may have misjudged the mood. And it matters. Get it wrong, and you can alienate as many people as you attract.

We can but pray Tonner Dolls will find that out.

The UK Government’s Civil Partnership law has been thrown into confusion by a case heard today in the Court of Appeal.

Charles Keidan and Rebecca Steinfeld brought a case demanding the right to enter into a Civil Partnership. Currently, under the Civil Partnership Act, only homosexuals can apply. Or to be more specific, unrelated persons of the same sex.

Civil Partnership Act

Civil Partners are granted all the rights of marriage. They are free of inheritance tax on property which passes from one to the other on the death of a party to the ‘partnership’. They are also excused from being compelled to testify against each other. In general, neither can be compelled to give evidence against the other. That exemption could be crucial in a sexual abuse case involving a third party, for example.

The Act was meant to convey all the benefits of marriage. At the time it was passed, the Government of the day, under Tony Blair, gave a number of undertakings. Among them was an assurance that marriage for homosexual couples was out of the question. Heterosexuals had marriage, homosexuals had civil partnership, they said.

However, one parliament cannot bind a successor. David Cameron’s Conservatives legislated for ‘gay marriage’ in 2012. And of course all Tony Blair’s promises counted for nothing. Nor did the Tories do away with civil partnerships in the process. So homosexuals now have two options for state recognition of their relationship and heterosexuals just one. That is what Charles Keidan and Rebecca Steinfeld argued was unfair. And the judges agreed it breaches their right to a family life.

Government considering their options

Nevertheless, the couple did not secure a ruling that the situation was unlawful. The Government are considering their options at the moment. They are looking into the whole situation of civil partnerships in the light of gay marriage. That saved them.

But as Rebecca Steinfeld said after the hearing, the matter cannot stand as it is. There is an inequality. So what should we pray the Government do?

They can hardly repeal the Civil Partnership Act. Numerous homosexual couples took advantage of it. Most believied it was all they were going to get. Some have ‘converted’ their partnerships into ‘gay marriage’. But others reject the symbolism of marriage. Perhaps they are more astute.

But that leaves heterosexual couples who perhaps don’t care for the ‘patriarchy’ of marriage out on a limb. if Parliament extends civil partnerships to them, the Government will lose millions in inheritance tax. And what about spinster sisters living together? Should they include them as well?

What should we pray for?

We are like the travellers trying to reach a West Country town from deep in the Devon lanes. They asked a local man what route they should take. ‘Well’, he said, ‘If I was you, I wouldn’t be a-starting from ‘ere’.

Our Government instituted wickedness with the Civil Partnership Act. They made matters worse with the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act. Anything they do now will devalue marriage further. So what can we pray for except wholesale repentance? Leave your comment below, please!

A premier league football club have accused a Christian group of ‘hate speech’. The complaint follows an article highlighting their sponsorship of a homosexual event targeted at young people.

AFC Bournemouth have reported Christian Voice to Sussex Police and football’s ‘KickitOut’ pressure group.

AFCB’s action was disclosed by their photographer Steve Cook, now know as ‘Sophie’, in a tweet yesterday, Friday 17^th.

Divisive Homosexual Event

Christian Voice drew attention to AFC Bournemouth’s sponsoring what they called a ‘divisive’ homosexual event being held in the town today (Saturday 18th February 2017). The relegation strugglers are involved in the 2017 SchoolsOut’s LGBT History Month at Bournemouth University.

We also criticised the Club for funding a group which they say tries to convince adolescents they are gay – Space Youth Project.

But it is their refusal to accept that Bournemouth’s photographer, Steve Cook, is a woman which has drawn the particular ire of the South Coast outfit. Click here for the online article.

AFC Bournemouth would close down free speech

We have yet to hear from Sussex Police. We are puzzled in fact why AFCB would report us to Sussex rather than the Dorset force.

As to KickitOut, they have our full support in confronting racism. But the fact is, they will only dilute their message if they start promoting deviant sexual behaviour.

Clearly there is a constant need to defend freedom of speech. A corporate body like Bournemouth Football Club must not even think it can use the law to shut down those who would criticise its sponsorship policy.

This ministry will continue to criticise those who promote homosexuality to young people. We shall also continue to refer to ‘trans’ persons by their God-given gender. Post-truth is not the Christian world.

A Premiership Football Club is promoting homosexual propaganda to children, Christian Voice has discovered.

Relegation strugglers Bournemouth AFC are co-sponsoring a 2017 SchoolsOut’s LGBT ( Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transsexual) History Month event to be held this Saturday (18th February).

The other main sponsor is Bournemouth University. The event is called ‘OUTing the past’

Yet another sponsor of the Schools Out event is a homosexual contact group called Space Youth Project.

Space Youth Project, according to its website, appears to exist in order to advise confused adolescents that a transient homosexual phase is indicative of a permanent ‘orientation’. It is in the business of messing up children’s lives, in other words. Bournemouth AFC funds this organisation through its ‘nominated charity’ policy.

February, of course, is LGBT History Month. It is a time when parents should be watching even more carefully than usual what is happening in their children’s schools. The SchoolsOut LGBT history month website lists Labour’s Angela Eagle MP among its patrons. It has friends in high places.

Saturday’s event has speakers such as Cheryl Morgan, probably not his real name, trying to find ‘Trans Women in the Ancient World’. Lesbian activist Jenny White will speak on what lesbians do in bed. Actor Stephen Ashfield is discussing ‘the history of our community’, as if homosexuals are a race apart. Schools Out intern Lizzie Wallis will kick off proceedings praising Schools Out for promoting homosexuality to vulnerable schoolchildren. Obviously, she wants compulsory sex education.

The description of the event says: ‘OUTing the Past: Bournemouth is a free public event that along with other festival hubs around the country will present a one day showcase of historical or archival readings and personal testimonies that uncover the rich, and often lost, history of the LGBT community.

There is no reference to AFCB’s sponsorship of the militant Schools Out event on the Club’s website.

He also refused to tell us how much cash Bournemouth are giving to enable Saturday’s Schools Out event to proceed. He referred us to Bournemouth AFC’s Press Office. They also refused to comment.

There is plainly some embarrassment among the Bournemouth AFC top brass that their sponsorship of these activities has come in for public scrutiny. Or perhaps there is indecision over just how to defend their position. Either way, we can be sure the decision, or indecision, originates with Bournemouth AFC chairman Jeff Mostyn.

The news has been full of how football coaches have sexually groomed young boys. We fully expected the Club to respond to suggestions that it is financing projects – no doubt run by adults – which could be viewed as a form of sexual grooming.

Transgender photographer

It gets worse. Last season, Bournemouth AFC’s official photographer was Steve Cook. The twice married father-of-three has now decided he is a woman. Mr Cook is now calling himself Sophie.

According to the Bournemouth Echo, the first ‘transgender woman’ in UK football has been ‘totally accepted’ by players and fans after decades of feeling – you will never guess – ‘trapped in the wrong body’. But the truth is, despite taking female hormones, nothing will ever stop ‘Sophie’ being genetically a man.

And again, this is a time when gender confusion is being promoted in the classroom. Four-year-olds are saying they feel ‘trapped in the wrong body’. Doctors are prescribing powerful hormone drugs to troubled adolescents to delay the onset of puberty.

For Bournemouth AFC to give even tacit endorsement of such unethical medical interventions is a disgrace. It can only serve to add to the pressure on small children to jump on the fashionable transgender bandwagon.

Tesco, Co-op Bank and the Curse of Gay Pride

Tesco sponsored London Gay Pride in 2012. Disaster continues to dog the supermarket chain five years later.

Tesco infamously sponsored the London Gay Pride March in July 2012. The supermarket then endured a catastrophic few years. Christians staged a boycott. Tesco profits tumbled, new ventures went bust and they flouted planning laws. Tesco pulled out of the US after losses left their board red-faced. We reported ‘The curse of Gay Pride 2012 continues to dog Tesco‘. Even this month, Tesco was caught out overcharging customers after promotions expired at the check-out but were still displayed on the shelves.

The Co-op Bank fared little better. They told Christian Voice in 2005 our custom was not wanted. We were at odds with their pro-gay ‘diversity’ policies. Than in 2012 the Co-op Bank sponsored no fewer than fifteen gay pride events all over the UK.

The ‘Ethical Bank’ were soon caught overcharging for mortgages. In 2012 the greedy Co-op failed to grab Lloyds Bank customer accounts, pulling out over financial irregularities. In 2014 the pro-gay outfit lost a staggering £1.3 billion.

Their homosexual chairman resigned after he was caught doing drugs. Paul Flowers was filmed buying crack cocaine, crystal meth and ketamine. The Co-op Bank has now put itself up for sale.

Gay sports star flops

Tom Daley flopped at the 2016 Rio Olympics after flaunting his homosexuality in the media.

Meanwhile, in the world of sports, diver Tom Daley flopped at the 2016 Rio Olympics after using his celebrity status to promote homosexuality.

Another sportsman, rugby player Gareth Thomas, waited until his international career was well and truly over before announcing he was homosexual. He is another sponsor of the Schools Out event in Bournemouth this Saturday. Thomas also sponsors LBGT History Month.

After ‘coming out’ he appeared in a truly repellent pose on the front cover of a homosexual magazine. In 2015, Thomas took part in ‘Natural Born Winners’, a BBC televised challenge involving the notorious ‘Man versus Horse’ race. The super-fit sporting giant and gay icon finished a dismal 401st out of 540 runners.

Bournemouth AFC in relegation battle

When they were promoted to the Premier League in May 2015, club owner Russian billionaire Maxim Demin threw a £300,000 party for the players in Las Vegas.

But that now seems a long time ago. Bournemouth AFC is currently in a relegation battle. They have six losses, one win (3-0 away to Swansea) and two draws from their last nine matches. The defeats include a 6-3 thumping by Everton and a 2-0 loss to Manchester City. They only recently lost by two goals to fellow-strugglers Crystal Palace and then to Hull City.

Winless in 2017, Bournemouth travel to West Bromwich later this month then visit Manchester United. Later in March they face West Ham and a resurgent Swansea City at home. On top of all that, Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn has given his full backing to manager Eddie Howe. A public vote of confidence from the chairman is usually regarded as the kiss of death for a failing manager.

The Curse of Gay Pride

The Bible says: Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Prov 11:5b … The wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

The prophet Isaiah pronounces woe on those like Bournemouth AFC who turn good and evil upside down:

Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

The Lord Jesus was not at all cool with those who corrupt children: Matt 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

If Bournemouth AFC are relegated at the end of this season, the curse of gay pride will have fallen once more on a body corporate that thought it could mock God.

BMA predicts ‘pregnant man’ craze by banning ‘mothers’

The BMA predicted the ‘pregnant man’ craze by issuing absurd advice to doctors last year banning the use of the term ‘expectant mother’ in favour of ‘pregnant person’ so as not to offend transsexuals.

The advice was published in a BMA internal booklet: “A guide to effective communication: inclusive language in the workplace”.

Gender-neutral

The document is grindingly politically correct. Doctors, it says, should strive to be ‘gender-neutral’. A meeting has a ‘Chair’ not a ‘Chairman’. That one has whiskers on. So does “use the word ‘partner’ instead of ‘wife’ or ‘husband’.” But “‘parent’ instead of ‘Mum’ or ‘Dad’, and ‘child’ instead of ‘son’ or ‘daughter’?”

One function of language is to convey a precise idea. In farming we can refer to cattle but it is often useful to specify bull, bullock, cow or heifer. Eskimos are famously careful to differentiate between fifty different types of snow.

What if a woman has twins, one of each? With no access to ‘son’ and’daughter’ must doctors now refer to them as ‘Child A and Child B’? How will a parent cope with that?

The BMA veers off into the plainly fatuous. It seriously suggests to its 160,000 members: “You can also mix up the word order in common expressions, eg instead of saying, ‘men and women’, use ‘women and men’.” There! That will deal a blow to ‘patriarchy’.

Mind your pronouns!

The BMA is even worried by pronouns, previously the preserve of crazy university student unions. Doctors should ‘use the term preferred by the individual’ even if it flies in the face of reality. A ‘trans-female’, which it helpfully explains is ‘ie male to female’, should therefore be referred to as ‘She or her’ and never ‘He or his’.

Gender politics is all over our universities

Similarly, a ‘transmale, ie female to male’ should be ‘He or his’ but never ‘She or her’. Every UK newspaper slavishly follows that dictum already.

Nor should doctors ‘use phases that are reductive and overly-simplify a complex subject. A person’s sex is determined by a number of factors’, they claim. Doctors should not speak of someone as ‘Biologically’ or ‘Genetically male/female’ or ‘Born and (sic) man/woman’. Perish the thought that someone is actually male or female. Now, in the world of medicine, people are said to be ‘Assigned’ or ‘Designated male/female at birth’. If doctors have to worry about student politics will they have any time left to practice medicine?

Feminism runs riot

If it will come as no surprise that feminism runs riot in the embarrassing guide.

‘Gender inequality,’ it moans, ‘is reflected in traditional ideas about the roles of women and men. Though they have shifted over time, the assumptions and stereotypes that underpin those ideas are often deeply rooted.’ That’s because they are God-given.

If it goes on: ‘If it is common to assume a woman will have children, look after them and take a break from paid work or work part-time to accommodate the family. … However, such assumptions and stereotypes can and often do have the effect of seriously disadvantaging women.’ Only in the work place, silly. Not in the home. Stuck in a feminist mindset, the BMA misses the fundamental reality that women and men are not in competition. In the God-given institution of the family, a man and a woman work together for their mutual benefit. They divide up jobs according to aptitude. Watch my video on the ‘pay gap’!

‘A large majority of people that (sic) have been pregnant or have given birth identify as women.’ If it does not matter how people ‘identify’. Every person who has ever given birth has been a woman. But that is not good enough for the BMA:

“We can include intersex men and transmen who may get pregnant by saying ‘pregnant people’ instead of ‘expectant mothers’.”

Intersex pregnancy is very rare indeed.

Intersex is a rare condition, affecting at most 0.05% of the population. Those sadly affected have a mixture of male and female organs. The South African athlete Caster Semenya, for example, has external female genitalia but internal testes instead of a womb and ovaries. If it is consequently very rare indeed for someone intersex to conceive and carry a baby to term.

Intersex individuals should be approached with compassion and sensitivity. But that is not to say society should overturn reality. Caster Semenya, for example, is brimming with testosterone. He should not be competing in women’s races even though he has decided he ‘identifies as a woman’.

The overwhelming majority of hospitals, let alone doctors, will never see an intersex pregnancy.

‘Pregnant man’ is always a woman

The Sun newspaper has bought the rights to the story of Hayden Cross. It describes her as ‘the first British man to give birth’ The only flaw in the story is that Hayden Cross is genetically a woman. She has the full set of female chromosomes. Naturally (in every sense of the word), she has a fully-functioning womb and ovaries. She became pregnant by a sperm donor. That was a man.

She has postponed ‘gender reassignment’, which kicks off with massive testosterone hormone injections, to carry her baby.

I am ‘mis-gendering’ Hayden Cross, according to the BMA, but I do not care. The truth is: Hayden Cross is a woman. No amount of male hormone and no surgical mutilation will alter that plain genetic fact. She will never be a ‘dad’ as The Sun ridiculously describes her. She will always be her baby’s mother.

Speaking about the BMA guide and linking to Hayden Cross, even the Daily Mirror said: ‘Some 775,000 women give birth in Great Britain every year – and there are no other known cases of transgender people having babies.’

There is actually another woman, a mother of three, in the United States, going down the same path. Her name is Tracy LaGondino but she now styles herself Thomas Beatie. The Sun idiotically describes her as ‘the world’s first pregnant man’. Even the liberal Huffington Post is putting the expression ‘pregnant man’ in inverted commas.

So that’s one ‘pregnant man’ in the UK and one the US. The BMA is overturning reality and offending real mothers to solve a problem which is non-existent. The numbers are “vanishingly small,” as the person cited below put it.

Too much detail

If you do not like ‘too much detail’, skip to the next heading. The BBC interviewed another ‘trans-male’ woman. She is the self-styled ‘Freddy who has been on BBC4’s Woman’s Hour. ‘Freddy’ has a testosterone injection every twelve weeks. She has already had a mastectomy performed in the States. At the same time they gave her ‘a male, contoured chest’. How much that cost is not stated. Hayden Cross only got on with her pregnancy because the NHS would not pay to store her eggs.

‘Freddy’ would also like to be a ‘parent’. She objects to the term ‘mother’. The surgeons have not been let loose on her internal organs or genitalia, so to become pregnant she will just have to stop the testosterone injections, wait for her menstrual cycle to kick back in and hope she is still fertile. Stopping the testosterone, says the BBC, ‘ is risky for a trans man because it could lead to gender dysphoria’, which is a feeling of depression.

A post-truth world

If it was the Blair administration which started the rot. With the Gender Recognition Act 2004 Parliament legislated a lie. A majority of MPs and Peers voted to allow any individual to go back to his birth certificate and falsify it. (Yes, our masculine usage does include the feminine.) Then the Equality Act 2010 made transgenderism a ‘protected characteristic’ which had to be promoted by public authorities.

Forget post-Christian and post-modern. Our elite are now living in a post-truth world. In discussions about religion, it is common these days for people to talk about ‘my truth’ as opposed to ‘your truth’, let alone ‘the truth’.

Subjective truth does not actually work even in religion and doesn’t work in life and it certainly won’t work in a criminal court. If it is no use the burglar saying ‘his truth’ is that he was in the pub and that his fingerprints being all over the house he has broken into are ‘the forensic peoples’ truth.’ There is an objective truth the court has to agree upon.

It is the same in the Courts of Heaven. And as we are made in the image of God, playing fast and loose with the truth does not sit well with us either.

The BMA can pontificate all it likes, but there will only ever be pregnant mothers.

Theresa May addresses the Republican Party

Today the Rt Hon Theresa May MP becomes the first world leader to meet President Donald Trump. The media is obsessed with their probable discussions on trade. The UK exports more to the US than we buy from them, so it could get tricky.

But trade deals often focus on tariffs or the lifting of them and movement of people. Let us say again, nations do not need ‘trade deals’ to trade. The UK and US are already trading. And there are such things as strategic industries. This Bible article shows they need protecting!

Yesterday, Theresa May thrilled the Republican Convention with her vision of a trading and military UK-US partnership. Commentators say Mrs May’s speech to the Republicans generally went down well with them. (We have excepts from it here together with a link to the full text on the Downing Street website.) But will her views go down well with the new President?

Putin still the bogey-man

Despite Mr Trump’s favourable noises towards President Putin, Mrs May cast the Russian Federation leader as a bogey-man, speaking of the anxieties of Baltic states and describing the return of Crimea to Russia as ‘illegal’. Reunification with Russia was backed by 95% of Crimea’s population. But she also talked about engaging and building relationships with Russia, ‘from a position of strength’.

On Wednesday UK Defence Secretary Michael Fallon went out of his way to insult Russia. He described their aircraft carrier as a ‘ship of shame’ as it sailed through the English Channel. The UK does not have an operational aircraft carrier. Mr Fallon said the British navy was keeping a ‘close eye on the Admiral Kuznetsov as it skulks back to Russia.’ He described the vessel a ‘ship of shame whose mission has only extended the suffering of the Syrian people.’

Actually, the carrier helped liberate eastern Aleppo from jihadists. Russian planes supporting the Syrian army allowed Christians there to celebrate Christmas for the first time in five years. Peace talks have been taking place between the Syrian government and the armed opposition. That has only happened because of Russian involvement.

The UK is nowhere in Syria any more, thank God. Mr Fallon could not exude any ‘position of strength’. He came across as weak, petulant, rude and divorced from reality. Can he long survive in Mrs May’s relationship-building world?

Or were hers just words? For how much longer will the generals and arms manufacturers continue NATO’s sabre-rattling on Russia’s borders? In her speech, Mrs May actually boasted that 800 British soldiers were taking part in that latest exercise.

Upholding our values?

Moving on, what did Theresa May mean when she said the US and UK must ‘project our values around the world’?
‘Responsibility to Protect’, invented by George Soros, was used in the past by the UK and US to destabilise leaders the globalist elite do not like. Its outcome in Egypt was to sweep Islamist parties into power. Libya has become a lawless staging post for people smuggling into Europe. Syria has been ruined. And in every case, thriving Christian families have been all but driven from their ancient ancestral bases.

In 2003 Theresa May voted for Tony Blair’s stampede into war in Iraq. The result of that is 268,000 violent deaths to date, according to Iraq body count. It led to a complete breakdown of Saddam’s institutions of civil society, and Islamic State terrorism.

Thank God President Trump has put ‘America first’. The days of ‘fantasist Americans who want to control the world,’ appear to be over. Those words were spoken by the late ex-MP and ‘Father of the House’ Tam Dalyell, who died yesterday. His obituary is worth reading.

How Theresa May changed on gay rights

Or did Theresa May mean exporting the ‘British values’ of feminism, abortion and sodomy? Here it gets interesting. Theresa May used to be adamantly opposed to gay rights.

She voted against homosexual men having access to 16-year-old boys in 1999. In 2002 she voted against gays and lesbians adopting. In 2008 she voted for an IVF baby to have a father and a mother. The next year she voted in the Equality Bill debates for churches to be free to hire and fire who they wanted.

But in 2010 Mrs May was appointed Home Secretary and Minister for Women and Equality by Prime Minister David Cameron. From that date it all changed. In 2013 she turned out to vote for gay marriage in the Marriage Same-Sex Couples Bill. She voted for Cameron’s flagship bill at both second and third reading.

Even today, her Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson is a well-known gay rights advocate. She appointed the ‘out’ lesbian Justine Greening to be in charge of Education. Mrs May gave Louise Casey an equalities watch and bestowed on her a Damehood. This month ‘Dame Louise’ invoked an Orwellian vision of using thought police against Christians in public life.

But Theresa May will need to drain her own gay-friendly establishment swamp before she can be a true partner to President Trump. Can she change?

Let us pray that May & Trump will have an opposite agenda and promote or ‘project’ righteousness. But as Mrs May did not mention God, let alone ‘the Lord’, or Jesus, once in her speech, this will need particularly fervent prayer.

European Union Integration

On the European Union, there were signs that Mrs May still does not understand that a wind of change, perhaps even a Holy-Spirit-driven wind of change, is blowing across the world.

She said ‘the most important institution is – and should always be – the nation state’. That’s a God-given. But then she said:

Europa on the Bull outside the Council of Ministers building in Brussels; the peoples of Europe are being taken for a ride.

‘Which is why if the countries of the European Union wish to integrate further, my view is that they should be free to do so. Because that is what they choose.’

What? The EU was from its inception a bureaucrat-inspired super-national monstrosity. It was never ‘putting power in the hands of the people’ as Mrs May said was the example to the world of America. The EU was designed in secret by politicians as a revived Roman Empire.

It is always elites who want to come together like that. And when they do, people will feel ‘left behind by the forces of globalisation’ as Mrs May rightly said. The ordinary people of Europe will never choose further integration. Even as it is the European Union is going to fall. that is what happens to ‘earth’s proud empires.’

Mrs May must grasp that the UK does not need European countries to be in an EU for the UK to trade with them.

Torture

President Trump has spoken approvingly of the use of the practice of ‘waterboarding’ to gain intelligence. It was banned by President Obama. On its own this shows the folly of putting trust in princes rather than God.

There is no example in the Bible of the apparatus of the state using torture or ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’ to extract information from prisoners. In 1st Samuel chapter 30 a captive Egyptian is brought before David. The king interrogates him, first having fed him. The captive divulges the information with no threat being used, only a promise of safety. (The UK could learn from that in the matter of interpreters.)

The most graphic Biblical example of torture is actually that employed by the Romans to execute our Lord. It is not a good example to follow. The Roman Empire was pagan. It acknowledged neither the Almighty nor his authority as King of kings. It was ignorant of his creation ordinance that mankind is made in the image of God. Other human beings, in Christian theology, are worthy of respect.

Mrs May said ‘As Churchill put it, we “speak the same language, kneel at the same altars and, to a very large extent, pursue the same ideals”.’ Do we indeed worship the same God? Sadly, Mrs May failed to mention the Most High in her speech, not even asking the Almighty to bless America. But if we do, he requires a higher standard of us than our Islamic enemies.

Dame Louise Casey is determined to use British values against Christians

A senior Government advisor, Dame Louise Casey, has said Christians in public life should not be allowed to hold traditional Christian views on marriage.

Speaking to MPs on the Communities and Local Government Select Committee, Dame Louise said: ‘it is not okay for Catholic schools to be homophobic and anti-gay marriage. … it is not how we bring children up in this country. It is often veiled as religious conservatism, and I have a problem with the expression “religious conservatism”, because often it can be anti-equalities. We have got to be careful that people can choose, obviously, to live the lives that they want to live, but that they cannot condemn others for living differently.’

Catholic Bishop Philip Egan (Portsmouth) said any restrictions on Catholic schools passing on the Church’s moral teachings would be worthy of George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four. The bishop said it was increasingly difficult to engage in reasonable discussion and argument over anything to do with sexuality.

Trying to preach sexual morality in Britain has become ‘like arguing with an alcoholic‘, he said. ‘After a while, they won’t argue with you on grounds of reason, they just become furious and respond that way. There is something in our culture increasingly like that.’

Although Dame Lousie singled out Catholic schools, there are many Christians and other religious groups to whom her sentiments would apply.

Oath of ‘British values’

‘The Casey Review: a review into opportunity and integration’ was set up by Theresa May in July 2015. It was ‘a review into opportunity and integration in some of our most isolated communities’.

Dame Louise was formerly at Shelter, the Home Office Anti-social Behaviour Unit and the ‘Respect Task Force’ according to a Government webpage.

She was made a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2016 for ‘services to families and vulnerable people’.

In her review she calls for immigrants and public servants to take an ‘oath of British values’.

Her report proposed that migrants should swear an “oath of integration with British values and society” before they become British citizens.

‘Tolerance, democracy and respect’

Similarly, both Dame Louise and Sajid Javid MP, the Communities Secretary, are calling for civil servants and all in public office to swear an ‘oath enshrining British values.’ These are specified as ‘tolerance, democracy and respect’.

If a public official were to violate such an oath, they could be excluded from public office. A teacher would have to stop teaching. Even a nurse might have to quit.

Ofsted would be sure to police such a regime meticulously. Schools in the public system already have a statutory duty to promote homosexuality and transgenderism under the Equalities Act. Having an oath of office would intensify the pressure on every individual teacher.

Intolerant mindset

But looking deeper into the attitudes of Dame Louise reveals an intolerant mindset. It is one probably owned by many people in government, officialdom and the media.

Firstly, she says one ‘cannot condemn others for living differently’. Well, we can. We call it ‘preaching conviction of sin.’ In Human Rights language it’s called ‘freedom of expression.’ And funnily enough, the Government does it, in campaigns against smoking and obesity. Ordinary people do it whenever they warn a friend about taking drugs.

But those have an impact on public health and the costs of the NHS! So does homosexuality. Currently, 50% of sexually transmitted diseases in the UK arise as a consequence of men having sex with men.

Even the BBC says rates among gay man are ‘soaring.’

Homosexual men are the main reservoir of rectal gonorrhea (no surprises there). There also lead the field in syphilis. The anti-retrovirals gay men take to stop HIV developing into full-blown AIDS (HAART) cost £320,000 per patient over a twenty-year period.

The only way homosexual men benefit the public purse, apart from taxes, which we all pay, is by dying younger than the average. By doing so they reduce the demand on pensions. Sorry, but public health economics is not a pretty subject.

Whose children are they?

Secondly, ‘to be homophobic and anti-gay marriage … is not how we bring children up in this country’. Well, excuse me, but whose children are they? Dame Louise has the statist idea that the nation’s children belong to the Government.

They don’t. They belong to the nation’s families. And some of those families are liberal in their views while some are conservative. Some families are lazy. Others are industrious. Some are rough and some cultured. Some wouldn’t know a spiritual aspect of life if it bit them. Others are deeply religious. It’s called ‘diversity’ in its truest sense. And when a nation’s government pontificates that it is ‘not okay’ for parents and teachers to convey to children that marriage is an ordinance of God between one man and one woman for life, you are living in a society with a death-wish.

Not to accept ‘British values’ becomes a thought crime

Thirdly, government appears to be moving towards a position where what people do in their destructive lifestyles is not just tolerated but celebrated and encouraged. Meanwhile, what people think is condemned. Well did the bishop remind us of George Orwell and his prophetic book ‘Nineteen Eighty-Four’. In it, the state takes reprisals against society’s dissidents who commit ‘thought crimes’.

We are not allowed to ‘condemn others for living differently’, but the Government will condemn us for thinking differently. You do not secure ‘societal cohesion and unity’ by forcing law-abiding people to act against their conscience. Instead, you store up resentment and anger. Tolerance has to tolerate intolerance. Homosexuality is on such shaky intellectual ground it cannot allow freedom of religion and freedom of conscience.

A “British values” oath will sever our nation from its Christian roots. In doing so, politicians will saw off the very branch of our heritage they are sitting on.

Who is behind the anti-Trump women’s march going on in London today?

The placards in the picture from the BBC’s report give the game away.

Two groups have organised the affair.

Firstly, the ‘No to Racism’ placards are from ‘Stand up to Racism’. That is a Socialist Workers’ Party offshoot.

It was formed when the SWP brand went toxic in 2013 after two women accused a senior member of rape.

As the Guardian reports, ‘Weyman Bennett, one of two co-conveners of Stand Up to Racism, … is a longstanding member of the SWP’. For the record, the other, Sabby Dhalu, apparently comes from the National Assembly Against Racism, an organisation associated with the Trotskyist Social Action.

Well, you might expect those two to be opposed to the policies of Donald Trump. And anyone vaguely to the right of Leon Trotsky, to be frank.

Why have Stop the War joined?

But what of the black placards which say, ‘No to Trump, No to War’? Those are captioned www.stopwar.org.uk which is the Stop the War Coalition. Yes, do click on it, or click here for a list of articles.

Stop the War’s articles are highly critical of President Obama’s pro-war policies, US and UK destabilisation of Iraq, Libya and Syria and NATO sabre-rattling in Europe. Look at this article on the Christian Voice website in which we deplored the NATO build-up and celebrated the 2013 vote in the UK Parliament which stopped airstrikes against President Assad’s forces. Now look at this one on the same subject on Stop the War. You will not find a hair’s breadth of difference between them.

So why are we in this ministry praising God for President Trump’s election and his ‘America-first’ inauguration speech? Because he says he is going to seek peace with Russia and stop interfering (let alone starting wars) in other sovereign states.

If Hillary Clinton had been elected, she would have given the green light to every war-mongering hawk, neo-con and interventionist in both the Pentagon and the US State Department. She was the WW3 candidiate, Trump is the man of peace. Why do Stop the War not get that? Stay with us! All will be revealed.

OK, others on the ‘women’s march’ are just die-hard feminists, and they do have a point. You would expect Donald Trump not to subscribe to the feminist dogma that men and women are from competing tribes, continually squabbling over the division of a cake of a given size.

And within minutes of President Trump’s inauguration, the White House LGBT page had vanished, along with its climate change page. De-funding Planned Parenthood is imminent.

And, horror of horrors, Trump quoted the Bible in his speech! So expect a few lesbians, abortionists, atheists and earth-worshiping witches to trot along as well. (The US version of the march actually banned anyone pro-life.)

But Stop the War marching against someone patently anti-war? Why? Because they are ‘for Palestine’ and ‘against Islamophobia’, that’s why. Stop the War is hopelessly pro-Muslim. They have a disgraceful article on their website claiming the inhabitants of Mosul actually welcomed the Islamic State takeover in 2014. They do not even agree with fighting Islamic State or Muslim terrorists.

So that is why they hate an American President whose only pledge on military action is to destroy Islamic State. And on that note, Stop the War, we’ll have to differ.

Transgender documentary spills beans

Fifteen years ago it was middle-aged men, very often fathers, deciding they should have been women all along, who formed the backbone of the miniscule transgender movement. They were so few, and so off-the-wall, they were a mere add-on to the homosexual network. Even bisexuals took precedence among ‘LGBT’ activists.

But now the focus has shifted to the school. Four year-olds are coming out with the ‘trapped in the wrong body’ mantra. Last night (12th January 2017), a BBC2 documentary explored the culture war between the ‘gender affirmative’ mainstream and the traditionalist dissidents. The iplayer version of ‘Transgender kids who knows best‘ is available for 29 days.

Gender Affirmative

‘Gender affirmative’ blindly accepts what the child is saying. It objects to any idea of a psychological or emotional root to the child’s gender dysphoria. It objects to there being any parallel dysfunction in the child’s mind. It allows the child to progess to hormone treatment which blocks the onset of puberty and from thence to full hormone treatment and ‘sex reassignment’ surgery, which is irreversible.

Crucially, ‘gender affirmative’ holds the levers of power in the UK and in Canada, the focus of the documentary.

The documentary gave time to Ontario Politician Cheri dii Novo to set out her pro-transsexual views. In November 2016, MIss di Novo marked ‘International Trans Day of Remembrance’ raising ‘the Trans Flag at the Ontario Legislature for the first time in history’. Later that month she celebrated the All Families Are Equal Act. This is where law-making becomes ‘LGBTQ’ activism, in which Miss di Novo excels.

Transgender Opponent

But the film also gave a welcome platform to Dr Kenneth Zucker. He ran Toronto’s Child Gender Clinic for thirty years and helped many children accept their God-given biological gender. In the documentary he said a “whole range of psychological issues can manifest themselves in a child’s desire to change their gender”. Dr Zucker said a majority of the children he had treated also had attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or were on the autism spectrum, or had other psychological problems. One girl he treated had seen her mother murdered and began to think if she had been a boy she could have prevented it. So she then hated being a girl.

There was a heartbreaking moment when a girl described how she had undergone a double mastectomy as part of gender reassignment surgery before realising she wanted to remain as a woman.

A creepy activist, female-to-male transsexual and psychotherapist called Hershel Russel made light of the case. ‘There are very few,’ she said.

Furious transgender activists

Activists were furious, according to the Guardian. Susie Green own son wanted to be a girl. She is now chief executive officer of the ‘trans’ agitators Mermaids Foundation. She told the paper: “We’ve had real concern that this is going to cause them to be targeted, because it supports this idea of trans children being mentally disturbed or that they can be cured. Parents are very afraid.”

But parents outside activist groups are relieved someone is sticking up for them. There was an uplifting story in the documentary of a family who resisted their daughter’s claims that she was a boy. They attended Dr Zucker’s clinic. Showing her she could play ball games and take part in rough sports transformed her life. She is now a happy adolescent girl.

Mermaids has been criticised itself for ‘bullying’ parents and schools in ‘gender affirmation’.

Not in step with the latest thinking

In 2015 Dr Zucker was sacked and his clinic closed when his approach fell foul of the spirit of the age. His work was “not in step with the latest thinking”. the BBC defended his inclusion in the programme. They said: ‘He believes he was fired for challenging the gender affirmative approach.’ Five hundred of his colleagues signed a letter supporting him.

At the very end of the programme, ‘Warner’, a small boy dressing up as girl with the full approval of his misguided parents, said he thought there were ‘a couple of pieces missing’ in his brain.

But surely our whole society is now a few sandwiches short of a picnic. We sack doctors trying to help young people. We browbeat parents into ‘gender affirmation’. We allow adult activists to impose damaging hormone treatments designed to block puberty on children who know no better. We allow surgeons to mutilate bodies and physicians to interfere with young people’s biochemistry. And we do all this because it is politically correct.

Gender Neutral Pronouns at Oxford

A Student body is urging the use of ‘gender neutral pronouns’ at Oxford University, reports the Oxford Mail.

The National Union of Students is apparently behind the move, which will see ‘he’ and ‘she’ replaced with the silly gender-neutral ‘ze’.

But the ‘ze’ pronoun will only be used if the person requests it. It is unlikely to be preferred by ‘transgender’ students, if there are any, since these are determined to use the sex-specific pronoun of their gender of choice.

Indeed, deliberately using the wrong pronoun for a transgender person is an offence under Oxford’s behaviour code, the newspaper has said.

Instead, ‘ze’ will be used by those who decide they are neither male nor female. Those who are genuinely neither male nor female, or possess conflicting sexual organs, are know as ‘intersex’.

This condition is rare, but it afflicts the South African runner Caster Semenya, who has decided to identify, and run, as a woman despite having internal testes. There is at present no ‘ze’ gender classification at the Olympics. Athletes are male, or female.

Christian Voice was first with ‘Gender Neutral Pronouns’

Christian Voice first reported on this matter two months ago, so Oxford University and the Oxford Mail are somewhat behind the times. In an article in our October Newsletter, ‘Brighton Bell’ wrote:

‘At the University of Sussex in Brighton, students from the school of History, Art History, and Philosophy were sent an email with regards to pronouns. More precisely, the use of ‘gender neutral’ and ‘gender non-binary’ pronouns.

‘The email states that it has come to the attention of the university that a number of students don’t wish to be referred to by ‘traditional’ pronouns such as he or she, but instead prefer gender neutral pronouns such as they and their.

‘It goes on to say that students should notify the university if they wish to be addressed by such pronouns by their lecturers or fellow students. It may be tempting to put this down to an isolated incident at a radical university, but as we shall see in this article, this issue has become increasingly widespread.

‘Before looking at how widespread the debate over the use of pronouns is, let us first consider how the issue came to be in the first place.

MASCULINITY IS ‘TOXIC’

‘The ‘traditional’ view that there are two genders is going out of fashion among today’s young people. Especially in academic circles, people are taught to accept that gender is not a binary. Instead of there being two genders, an endless number of genders exist. Many students today are taught that gender is not an immutable characteristic, but instead merely a social construct. The term for this is the ‘gender non-binary’. People identify as new ‘non-binary genders’ which most outside the hallowed halls have never heard of before.

‘Feminists have for a long time been seeking to blur the lines between male and female, especially with reference to attacking masculinity. Masculinity is denounced as ‘toxic’, and feminists argue that men who act like men are expected to act are wrong to do so. Changing gender from a binary of male and female to a spectrum in which one can choose from a menu of options is one way in which to attack maleness. If you can convince people, and especially men, not to identify with the gender they were born with, it will lead to a decline in masculinity.

‘Effectively, feminists seek to make the heterosexual male a dying breed, as it were.

400 GENDER OPTIONS

‘So, just how many new genders are there? According to a recent count on the website Tumblr, which is the home of the online feminist, there are over 400 gender options now to choose from. From the more popular ‘genderqueer’ and ‘genderfluid’, to far more obscure options, all are to be accepted without question, unless one wishes to be called ‘transphobic’ or ‘transmisogynist’.

‘These options aren’t mutually exclusive either, so one can choose to identify with more than one of these new ‘genders’. Let’s take a look at a couple of these new ‘genders’ to see just how ridiculous they are (the definitions are from ‘Tumblr’):

‘Abimegender: “A gender which is profound, deep, and infinite”.

‘Genderflora: “A gender that blooms and evolves depending on the weather and atmosphere; similar to genderfluid but more plant-like”.

‘Polygender: “Identifying as multiple genders; may be static or fluid”.

‘In addition to the above terms, a word has even been invented for normal people who identify with the gender they were born with – cisgender. Society is said to be ‘cisnormative’, meaning that those who identify with trans and non-binary genders are an oppressed group.

‘It’s interesting to note how proponents of the gender non-binary see gender as a fluid, social construct one can choose whilst simultaneously seeing sexuality as immutable and unchangeable; something one is born with and cannot choose.

BLURRING LINE BETWEEN MALE AND FEMALE

‘Universities across the UK and America are now accepting the new gender theory as if it were proven fact. This has resulted in an increasing number of students identifying with a gender other than male or female. It has also raised the issue of by which pronouns they would like to be addressed. In addition to gender neutral pronouns such as ‘they, them, and their’, completely new pronouns are now also being made up to protect these poor students’ feelings. For example, the pronouns ‘ze, zie, and xe’ are just three of the many sets of pronouns one can now choose as an identity. The more that the gender binary can be deconstructed in these ways, the more the lines will blur between male and female.

‘How widespread is the issue of pronouns? It’s difficult to know just how many universities are implementing new policies on them, but there are certainly a number of examples of universities doing just that. This certainly isn’t an issue confined to the University of Sussex.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN PRONOUNS

‘For example, the University of Michigan in the USA have recently implemented a new policy to allow students to choose their own preferred pronouns. These pronouns must be respected by professors and fellow students on threat of disciplinary action. In a rather amusing twist, one student who found the policy to be ridiculous decided to change his pronoun to ‘his majesty’ in an effort to highlight just how insane the policy is.

‘At American University in Washington DC, students in an induction session were asked to introduce themselves by their name and preferred pronouns.

‘Meanwhile, at the University of Vermont, students are allowed to change their pronouns on the university’s computer system, having the choice between ‘he’, ‘she’, ‘they’, and ‘ze’, along with ‘name only’ if they wish to have no pronoun at all.

‘PUTTING PRONOUNS ON THE CARDS’

‘Back home here in the UK, our very own National Union of Students seems to have a serious problem with the use of pronouns. Last year, the NUS LGBT committee submitted a motion to the NUS women’s conference called ‘putting pronouns on the cards’. The motion complained that as current name badges used at conferences only state the person’s name and educational institute they attend. That was discriminatory as non-binary students then have to also write their pronouns on these badges so they are addressed correctly. Apparently, having to write a pronoun on a name badge can make one feel ‘uncomfortable, othered, or outed as trans’. The solution the NUS women’s conference came to is that all students will now be asked their preferred pronouns when registering for conference. These pronouns will then be printed on all name badges.

‘Interestingly, the NUS women’s conference also declares that it is open to “all who self-define as women, including those with complex gender identities which include ‘woman’, and those who experience oppression as women.”

‘BORN IN THE WRONG SPECIES’ IS NEXT

‘As you can see, the issue of gender is now at the forefront of what is going on in the academic world, and is a new battleground which must be fought. We cannot allow for traditional genders and gender roles to be eroded further in the name of ‘progress’ or political correctness. First it was sexuality, now it’s gender. What next? A ‘trans-species’ movement? Sadly, that is an idea also starting to gain some momentum. A number of people now not only believe they were born with the wrong gender, but they were also born in the wrong species.

‘Of course, all this ignores the clear words of scripture:

‘Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

‘1Corinthians 14:33a: God is not the author of confusion.

‘Indeed, God is not the author of confusion, and he created a binary of genders which are not social constructs. They are ordained by God himself. So the confusion of genders and blurring of gender lines has not come from God but from the world. It is a corrupting influence on today’s youth and society as a whole. Along with the blurring of gender lines comes an increase in experimenting with different sexuality, and the ever growing embrace of homosexuality as an acceptable, alternative lifestyle.

‘PRAY for Christian young people at university. It takes courage to oppose the militants and faith to persevere. Pastors and parents should be aware of this issue in order to be able to pray with and support our young people.’

Hard on the heels of ‘I am Leo‘ and its ‘Just a Girl‘ series, the BBC’s ‘Victoria Derbyshire Programme’ has joined its irresponsible campaign to promote transgenderism among primary school children.

The morning TV show is today telling the story of ‘Jason’, a girl who wants to be a boy.

In a video clip on a BBC webpage the child says: ‘I felt like a boy trapped in a girl’s body and it just really didn’t feel right, it was horrible.’

Miss Derbyshire asks: ‘What do you remember about when you were treated as a girl and had a girl’s name?’

The child answers: ‘Well I was treated like any other, anyone else was but I just didn’t feel like the same as everyone else so I felt different and I felt that I was a boy and I am a boy. I came home, I think as, pretty much every day I came home sort of crying because I didn’t know how to explain it. If I was to carry on living as a girl I don’t think I could do it I just I probably wouldn’t, I wouldn’t let anyone see me, I probably wouldn’t come out of my room.’

‘Jason’s’ mother Leanne tells Victoria Derbyshire she and her husband fully support Jason’s wish to be a boy. She says: ‘I think it’s really hard for a parent or anybody on the outside looking in to understand that they are trapped in the wrong body and that is how they feel and it’s like torture for them every day.’

‘WRONG BODY’ MANTRA WITH NHS TREATMENT

What we see is the popular ‘trapped in the wrong body’ mantra coupled with emotional blackmail.

Disturbingly, we learn that 120 children who identify as being transgender have had NHS treatment to pause their puberty over the last five years and that ‘Jason’ ‘is one of the youngest.

She is now having monthly injections of hormone blockers, which effectively and temporarily halt the progress of puberty.

In ‘Just a Girl’, aimed at children 6-12, the fictional ‘Amy’ wears girl’s clothes and explains to viewers that he was born as a boy, Ben. He too is already in the process of halting puberty by drugs.

The treatment costs the taxpayer something like £1000 per month and the NHS even produced a ‘Guide to Hormone Therapy for Trans People’. The Guide makes clear that in addition to the hormone blockers, a child will need to take regular injections of the hormone appropriate to their ‘chosen’ gender.

This will obviously lower fertility, and if the patient embarks on surgery to have either testicles or ovaries removed, infertility will be permanent. ‘Jason’ and ‘Amy’ will not have children, and ‘Jason’s’ mother Leane will not have the joy of grandchildren from her.

PSYCHOLOGICAL TREATMENT

If someone really and truly believed he was Long John Silver, would the NHS chop off his leg and buy him a parrot? No, his doctor would refer him to a psychiatrist.

Medicine is there to cure, not to harm. Hormones, let alone surgery, are undertaken with the intent of impairing or destroying a natural bodily function. That is contrary to medicine.

A more mature society would deal with the underlying psychological and emotional problem, with the aim of making the child feel at home in the body the good Lord gave him or her. Indeed, the problem could even be spiritual.

The extent to which transgenderism is now becoming fashionable, aided in the UK by our state broadcaster, promoted by materials on the NHS website, means many more small children will fall for it year by year, trotting out the ‘trapped in the wrong body’ line.

Bob McCoskie of New Zealand’s ‘Family First’ reports that ‘the overwhelming majority of such children – from 75 to 98 percent – who experience gender dysphoria grow out of it by the time they reach puberty. … The leading clinics seeing such children – such as those in Canada and the Netherlands – do not recommend parents and schools facilitate gender changes in such children for various reasons. The push in culture today to embrace and affirm such children’s wishes is founded more upon a political ideology than it is in careful science and experience.’

It may be argued that political ideology is bent on societal and individual self-destruction.

Leading clinicians working in the Netherlands report ‘the results unequivocally showed that gender dysphoria remitted after puberty in the vast majority of children.’ They refer to this switch back to the child’s natal gender as “desisting”. Thus, most such children are indeed not ‘transgender’. The Amsterdam Gender Identity Clinic, one of the largest clinics in Europe treating gender dysphoric children, does not recommend that parents, teachers, or clinicians facilitate pre-adolescent sex transitioning, cross-dressing or name-changing.

Children find it hard to reverse the momentum that was created for them by well-intentioned but enabling adults.

STATE-SPONSORED CHILD ABUSE

Going along with such a child’s apparent wishes to adopt the opposite gender could mar them for life and could be seen as state-sponsored child abuse.

British actor Rupert Everett has also warned parents and clinicians against encouraging children who believe they should be the opposite sex. Speaking from his own experience as a boy, Everett, who is homosexual, said, ‘I really wanted to be a girl. Thank God the world of now wasn’t then, because I’d be on hormones and I’d be a woman. After I was 15, I never wanted to be a woman again.’

Schools going along with transgenderism in the liberal West really ought to carry out a full risk-assessment if they are encouraging immature children into life-changing decisions they will regret later.

Schools and parents should ask themselves:

How will any amount of ‘transitioning’ change the child’s chromosonal and genetic structure?
How will a male to female child produce eggs or a female to male child sperm?
How do they know the child wil not afterwards regret the ‘transition’ and sue?

Pray for Donald Trump

The Bible tells us to pray for our leaders, but there is an urgent need to pray for Donald Trump, especially as he embarks on his ‘Thank You’ tour with all the security challenges that presents.

TRUMP IS NOT YET ‘PRESIDENT-ELECT’

Despite the generous words of President Obama, Donald Trump is not yet, at this time of writing, the ‘President-Elect’ of the United States.

He will only become President-Elect when the fifty US electoral colleges have met, in their own states, on 19th December 2016 and that when the President of the US Senate counts up the votes, 270 or more state electors have voted for him.

Each elector has two votes, one for President, one for Vice-President. Remember, ‘faithless’ electors (those who do not ‘keep faith’ with the state’s electorate) could change the outcome.

What would happen were Donald Trump to become President-Elect but be assassinated after 19th December and before his swearing in? His running mate, Mike Pence, having been elected Vice-President-Elect, would become President on 20th January.

But what would happen were Donald Trump to be assassinated before 19th December? Then, as I understand it, the electors would be free to vote for whomsoever they wished. Mike Pence might be elected. But so might the runner-up, Hillary Clinton.

CHANCES OF ASSASSINATION

A Mrs Clinton Presidency would be a green light to the Neo-Conservatives, hawks and interventionists in the State Department and the Pentagon to bomb far-away places and increase NATO aggression against the Russian Federation. It would also be bad news for Israel, and great news for abortionists, gay rights groups and those who paint transsexual signs on toilets. Her judicial appointments to the Supreme Court would entrench the antichrist agenda, and the effects of all that would undoubtedly be felt this side of the Atlantic and across the world.

There is a lot of money and ideology at stake and we should be under no illusion about that. There are dark forces already at work trying to undermine Mr Trump. An assassination attempt on him is not beyond the bounds of reason. Joe Tex says the chances are:

‘about 1 in 4 that he will be killed, injured or narrowly escape an assassination attempt. There is a 90% chance that at least one attempt will be made, since one attempt has been made on 9 of the last 10 Presidents.’

Before the election, we prayed for a Trump rather than a Clinton victory on grounds of world peace. There is far less chance of tensions building up between the US and Russia, although we must still pray hard.against the warmongers.

HOPE FOR WORLD PEACE

By working with Russia, President Trump will also be the best hope for peace and for Christians and Christianity in the Middle East. It was President Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair who were responsible for the ‘war on terror’ in Afghanistan, which began in 2001. The same two took their countries into war on false pretences against Saddam Hussain in Iraq in 2003, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths and sowing the seeds of Islamic State.

Even on President Obama’s watch, the US, the UK, under David Cameron, and France threw Libya into chaos in 2011 and the same year, with the help of funding from financier and agitator George Soros, destabilised Syria, bringing about today’s refugee crisis across Europe. The civil war in Syria saw jihadists Al Nusra Front and Islamic State finally become established. This BBC timeline video is helpful.

Depending on who Mr Trump appoints as Secretary of State, there is hope we shall hear far less of the Soros-inspired ‘Responsibility to Protect’, which in practice means organised destablisation and fake news from establishment media followed by regime change, followed by anarchy.

We must pray especially against the appointment to that office of the war-monger John Bolton. Having said that, Rudy Guiliani and Mitt Romney are each of them anti-Russia insiders. The delay in the appointment must mean the Trump team are still looking for someone who shares his views.

(03/12/2016 Update: On his ‘Thank You’ tour, Mr Trump has said “We will destroy ISIS. At the same time, we will pursue a new foreign policy that finally learns from the mistakes of the past. We will stop looking to topple regimes and overthrow governments, folks.”)

IT ALL HINGES ON THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE

Clearly Mr Trump, his advisers and his running mate Mr Pence, who gives his testimony in this video, need wisdom from on high in their appointments.

But of course, much hinges on the electoral college on 19th December. If Donald Trump makes it that far, and if the electors stay faithful to their state vote, he will at that point become President Elect and the elite will have been denied the Clinton presidency they were counting on.

So we must pray urgently for safety and protection for Donald Trump and also of course for Mike Pence. In particular, may the Lord frustrate all attempts to assassinate Mr Trump.

Pray also that his appointments will be marked by wisdom and a desire for peace.

Peter Tatchell: Gays and Muslims Unite!

Homosexuals and Muslims must unite in solidarity against ‘oppression’, Peter Tatchell has urged.

The veteran gay activist issued his clarion call at a meeting of LGBT Humanists at London’s Conway Hall on Friday night (11th November 2016).

Ethics and Tango

Over fifty attended the meeting deep in the bowels of the bastion of anti-Christian thinking. Conway Hall is the headquarters of what was the South Place Ethical Society. Incongruously, a tango-dancing club was meeting in the main hall.

Only about a quarter of those attending were women. Around half of those were clad in Islamic dress.

Peter Tatchell firstly tried to draw an artificial distinction between Muslims, Islam and Islamism. Islam is a religion and Islamism a political system, he suggested. Muslims, he appeared to say, were innocent, powerless bystanders to the excesses of the one and the atrocities of the other.

The Quran, he declared, said nothing derogatory against sodomy. It was only in the Hadith where homosexuality was outlawed and penalties prescribed. The Hadith were the sayings of Mohammed, ‘a mortal man’, whereas the Quran was divinely-inspired. One presumes he meant ‘divinely-inspired according to Muslims’. The thought of something being inspired by someone or something supernatural does not immediately appear to be a secularist concept.

Therefore, what Mr Tatchell tries to tell those Muslims he comes across, and it seems he comes across many, is that homosexuality is just fine if you will only go to the roots of Islamic faith.

This is wrong for two reasons. Firstly, the Hadith are not the ‘sayings’ of Mohammed, they are accounts of Mohammed’s life. The word ‘hadith’ is Arabic for ‘story’. Secondly, the Hadith carry equal authority with the Quran. Mr Tatchell was thinking along Christian indeed along Protestant lines, where the Bible is the sole authority in matters of doctrine. It isn’t like that in Islam. You cannot appeal to the silence of the Quran in matters where the Hadith wax eloquent.

As to his central premise that both homosexuality and being a Muslim are oppressed in Britain today, Mr Tatchell offered no evidence. But he wanted to give his audience hope that gays and Muslims could indeed unite against the imaginary oppression. Therefore he told us that 17% of Iranian students claim to be homosexual. The figure is of course ludicrous and has been rubbished online.

Love in the Quran!

However, his relentless lobbying of the Muslim Council of Britain bore fruit in 2007 when they did not oppose the Sexual Orientation Regulations. Inevitably the change of heart was fleeting. MCB reverted to type in 2012, when they opposed same-sex marriage.

Although some homosexuals had experienced hatred from Muslims, Muslim hearts and minds were changing, Peter Tatchell claimed. Young Muslims in schools had been positive about gays, citing some imaginary ‘love and compassion in the Quran’. He was working with ‘British Muslims for Secular Democracy’, a fringe group if ever there was one, founded by the notorious ex-Muslim secularist and talking head Yasmin Alibhai-Brown. He was also proud to be a patron of ‘Tell Mama’. This grievance group never stops looking around for real – or imaginary – discrimination against Muslims. A recent ludicrous non-example was that experienced by the Skegness twelve.

So last year his Peter Tatchell Foundation launched ‘LGBT-Muslim Solidarity – Fight All Hate’. You really would need a heart of stone not to laugh at the infantile way ‘progressive’ people cast their political opponents as motivated by ‘hate’ – as if they themselves aren’t. On the other hand, Peter Tatchell is an intelligent guy. Maybe he is sending them up.

Demographic reality

Now to demographic reality. Atheists and Christians alike in the United Kingdom are barely replacing their population. Homosexuals, without outside intervention, do not have children. Because they cannot procreate they have to recruit or adopt, but that is another story. The only group in the British population who are growing is Muslims, whose women are simply doing what their bodies were created to do. It may be only a matter of some thirty years before Muslims, and that means Islam and Islamists, gain political control in this country. The best advice for Christians and homosexuals alike is: ‘keep your passports up to date.’

On a positive note, those assembled did allow me to ask a question. In response Peter Tatchell was gracious enough to concede, to the dismay of sections of his audience, that Christians rather than homosexuals or Muslims are indeed the most persecuted group around the globe. He spoke in particular of Pakistan and the ordeal of Asai Bibi, who cannot find a judge with the courage simply to release her. Judges in Pakistan are all in fear of their lives. From Islamists, not Muslims, no doubt.

Tom Daley and Rio2016 – is there really no judgment?

Tom Daley finished last in his semi-final after leading the field.

After ‘That Tweet’ about how Tom Daley turning gay did him no favours at #Rio2016 a number of people were really sure God did not judge Daley in the diving pool for turning gay. Some said God wouldn’t judge him, either because ‘being gay’ isn’t a sin or because God can’t be bothered to intervene in the affairs of men, some said God couldn’t, some said there’s no God anyway, and some were just abusive.

So I thought I should brave this maelstrom and state my personal position on what I believe the Bible says.

DALEY PROMOTING HIMSELF AND HIS HOMOSEXUALITY

Tom Daley was talked about as a potential gold medal-winner before all the athletes set off. He said himself: ‘I’m going into this Olympic Games for a gold medal.’

I last wrote about Daley in December 2013, when he decided he was ‘gay’ after becoming involved with one Dustin Black. He came back into view as his gayness and his fait accompli individual gold medal were all over the media as Rio2016 approached.

The papers loved the relentless opportunities he gave them to photograph him with his twice-as-old boyfriend. There were pictures of Daley and Black holding hands, going shopping, eating out, being on the cover of sodomy magazines, kissing (yuk), talking about being ‘engaged’ to be gay-married, even about ‘having children’ together (which thing can’t biologically be done, but let that pass).

The Daily Mail left Goodfellow out of the picture as well. — The Daily Mail thought Tom Daley won bronze in synchronised dive on his own.

Young Mr Daley was giving it large, as they say in South London, about his new-found homosexuality and all things gay and about his medal prospects.

DIVING IS ALL IN THE MIND

At Rio 2016, Daley achieved a bronze medal with Dan Goodfellow in the men’s synchronised 10m platform. Even then, as Felicity Morse noted in iNews, newspaper coverage of the medal was all about Daley. Goodfellow was literally left out of the picture in both the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail. But when it came to the individual dive, from 1st place in the preliminary round, Daley slumped to last place in the semi-final.

From what I can see about diving, you can do all the training you want, and you have to, but at the crucial moment, it really is all in the mind. As he was lining up for what would turn out to be his last Rio2016 dive, something scrambled Tom Daley’s.

What that was, we shall probably never know. I might say ‘God did it’, while someone else will attribute it to a random thought (but where did that thought come from?) and others will say it was just an off-day. But even they will have to concede that to go from first place to last is a bit dramatic.

THE SPIRITUAL AFFECTS THE NATURAL

Here’s the theological question: Does one’s belief set really affect one’s life outcomes? Does pride go before a fall? Can the spiritual dimension of life affect the natural? Sceptics will say, ‘Of course not!’

We know from Matthew 5:45 that the sun shines on the evil and the good, and the rain falls on the just and the unjust. But that is the common grace of God. What about the Lord’s specific dealings with individuals? The Bible records God saying to Eli the priest:

1Samuel 2:30b but now the LORD saith, … them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

Eli’s sons were apostate and his family was wiped out soon after. The prophecy came true.

The book of Psalms opens by saying:

Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Like it or not, and if you are homosexual or liberal or from Plymouth you probably won’t, but Tom Daley is in the verse 4 category. And if anyone wants to say I am ‘judging’ him, just put ‘Tom Daley” into an internet search engine.

THE SIN OF SODOMY

It’s the word of God which is judging him, not me. Sodomy is said to be sinful all through the Bible. God brought judgment on Sodom itself. Men doing shameful acts with other men is condemned in the New Testament (Romans 1:24-27). The Lord Jesus said:

All I am doing is warning. The ministry I lead has been warning our nation of the effects of our corporate sin for over twenty years. We do it because we care about our nation and those in it.

Promoting sodomy and gay-marriage, as Daley does, is especially sinful. That is because it affects the cultural environment of impressionable young people. The ‘Daley-effect’ can make an adolescent boy think he is gay when he is actually passing through a phase of same-sex attraction. Tom Daley’s failure to win an Olympic gold medal has at least mitigated that effect to an extent.

JUDGMENT IS COMING

Of course there are those who are just as wicked who appear to get away with it all their lives. On the other hand, there are good people who suffer. Squaring those outcomes with the principle of Psalm 1 exercised the protagonists in the book of Job. The psalmist asked the question pointedly in Psalm 73, and Solomon in Ecclesiastes:

Eccl 7:15 All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.

But we have, as Job and the psalmists did, to keep to the Psalm 1 hope that anyone who turns away from the advice of the ungodly, who doesn’t hang around with those who are breaking God’s laws and who doesn’t mock or scorn God will be blessed and whatsoever he does will prosper in his time on earth. They were certain that judgment is coming eventually.

GOD REWARDS THOSE WHO SEEK HIM

The same spiritual principle operates in the New Testament. The book of Hebrews says those who diligently seek God will be rewarded:

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The Lord Jesus himself spoke of rewards from following him, and he said they would happen in this life:

Luke 18:29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, 30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

Does that mean salvation itself is earned? No, it has all been done on the cross by Jesus:

1Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

PUT YOUR TRUST IN JESUS

To be saved, you simply put all your trust, all your faith, in Jesus:

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Salvation is available to everyone who calls on the name of Jesus:

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

That applies to every one of us. If you do not yet believe that the Lord Jesus died on the cross to forgive you your sins, and that his resurrection will fill you with new life, call on his name right now, believe in him and tell everyone (that’s what the confess bit means) that he is your Saviour.

WHAT WOULD JESUS SAY?

What would Jesus say to Tom Daley? Carry on sinning? No, he would say what he said already:

Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

‘Repent and believe the Gospel’. Jesus says that still to every sinner today. You may think you are doing well, but God can still pull you down. If you spit in the face of God often enough and long enough, judgment is coming.

Salvation is a gift from God. It carries with it eternal life in heaven, in the presence of God, by the blood of Jesus Christ, the perfect lamb of God.

WOULD DALEY BE A BETTER DIVER IF HE TURNED TO CHRIST?

But the Bible also teaches there is a reward in this life for obedience to God’s laws. You succeed in life by following Kingdom principles.

Even the New Agers, drawing on Hinduism, have their idea of ‘Karma’. Our human spirit cries out that if there is no reward for virtue and no judgment for sin, what is the point of trying to lead a good life, however you define it? Is it all in the next life? No, the Bible teaches it is in the here and now as well.

So do I believe Tom Daley would be a better diver if he turned to Christ and renounced his homosexuality as a result of conviction of sin? Of course I do! By harnessing the power of prayer, he would find the Lord would help to focus his mind before every dive. God can do that, you know!

In addition, although Tom Daley would be persecuted by the gays for betrayal, he would have the peace of God in his heart. He would have the blessed assurance, as the hymn puts it, of salvation. I believe he would be a better diver, but even if I’m wrong in that, the sweet knowledge of salvation outweighs everything else this life affords.

A review of scientific data concludes homosexuals are not ‘born that way’. Additionally, many other commonly held ideas about gender and sexuality lack scientific support.

The report, by Dr Lawrence S. Mayer and Dr. Paul R. McHugh, is published in the fall (autumn) 2016 edition of The New Atlantis.

It is titled Sexuality and Gender: Findings from the Biological, Psychological, and Social Sciences.

It presents biological, psychological, and social science evidence to conclude:

(1) homosexuals are not ‘born that way’,
(2) they experience adverse health outcomes which can not entirely be attributed to social stigma, and
(3) people can not have a innate gender different from their biological one.

The authors are highly qualified and hugely experienced. Dr Mayer is the scholar in residence in the Department of Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a statistics and biostatistics professor at Arizona State University.

Dr McHugh was the psychiatrist-in-chief at the Johns Hopkins Hospital for 25 years. He is a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

The authors considered more than 200 peer-reviewed studies related to human sexuality. They found that understandings of sexual orientation and gender identity as “innate” rather than fluid are “not supported by scientific evidence.”

Acts 17:11 (The Bereans) were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

’Sexual Orientation’ ‘not innate’

In part one, on ‘Sexual Orientation’, the authors say:

‘The understanding of sexual orientation as an innate, biologically fixed property of human beings — the idea that people are “born that way” — is not supported by scientific evidence.
‘While there is evidence that biological factors such as genes and hormones are associated with sexual behaviors and attractions, there are no compelling causal biological explanations for human sexual orientation. …
‘Longitudinal studies of adolescents suggest that sexual orientation may be quite fluid over the life course for some people, with one study estimating that as many as 80% of male adolescents who report same-sex attractions no longer do so as adults … .
‘Compared to heterosexuals, non-heterosexuals are about two to three times as likely to have experienced childhood sexual abuse.

’Adverse health and mental health’

In part two, ‘Sexuality, Mental Health Outcomes, and Social Stress’, they conclude:

‘Compared to the general population, non-heterosexual subpopulations are at an elevated risk for a variety of adverse health and mental health outcomes.
‘Members of the non-heterosexual population are estimated to have about 1.5 times higher risk of experiencing anxiety disorders than members of the heterosexual population, as well as roughly double the risk of depression, 1.5 times the risk of substance abuse, and nearly 2.5 times the risk of suicide.
‘Members of the transgender population are also at higher risk of a variety of mental health problems compared to members of the non-transgender population. Especially alarmingly, the rate of lifetime suicide attempts across all ages of transgender individuals is estimated at 41%, compared to under 5% in the overall U.S. population.
‘There is evidence, albeit limited, that social stressors such as discrimination and stigma contribute to the elevated risk of poor mental health outcomes for non-heterosexual and transgender populations.’

Not ‘born that way’

In part three, Gender Identity, they come down firmly against the ‘born that way’ mantra:

‘The hypothesis that gender identity is an innate, fixed property of human beings that is independent of biological sex — that a person might be “a man trapped in a woman’s body” or “a woman trapped in a man’s body” — is not supported by scientific evidence.
‘According to a recent estimate, about 0.6% of U.S. adults identify as a gender that does not correspond to their biological sex.
‘Compared to the general population, adults who have undergone sex-reassignment surgery continue to have a higher risk of experiencing poor mental health outcomes. One study found that, compared to controls, sex-reassigned individuals were about 5 times more likely to attempt suicide and about 19 times more likely to die by suicide.’

’Little scientific evidence’

The authors express particular concern for the current fashion for putting children on gender reassignment pathways:

‘Children are a special case when addressing transgender issues. Only a minority of children who experience cross-gender identification will continue to do so into adolescence or adulthood.
‘There is little scientific evidence for the therapeutic value of interventions that delay puberty or modify the secondary sex characteristics of adolescents, although some children may have improved psychological well-being if they are encouraged and supported in their cross-gender identification. There is no evidence that all children who express gender-atypical thoughts or behavior should be encouraged to become transgender.’

’Fix minds, not genitalia’

Writing on the report, Dr Michael Brown said the authors of the report would be castigated rather than its findings challenged:

‘When it comes to Dr. McHugh, he committed the cardinal sin of opposing sex-change surgery during his tenure at Johns Hopkins Hospital, which is why that surgical procedure was dropped under his leadership. But he did this based on years of interaction with those who identified as transgender, interviewing them before and after surgery, ultimately concluding that, “We psychiatrists … would do better to concentrate on trying to fix their minds and not their genitalia”.’

Luke 5:31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

The report is already being attacked by homosexual activists and is unlikely to make it into the mainstream media.

Its common-sense conclusions that there’s no scientific support for thinking homosexual feelings and attractions are innate, that the negative mental health outcomes of homosexuals cannot be blamed on ‘homophobia’, that homosexuals are not born that way and that “sex reassignment surgery” is not the best treatment for gender confusion would inform policy-makers, if the latter were in any sense concerned about public health rather than how their policies play with homosexual lobbyists.

Prov 14:12 (cf 16:25) There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

In his book ‘Rules for Radicals’, Saul Alinsky said the establishment’s over-reaction to what we do has an impact greater than our initial action.

We are the radicals now and we just illustrated that principle.

My tweets at Twitter.com/UKCV about Caster Semenya and especially about Tom Daley’s flop in the diving have led to 20,000 hits on our website, agitation from homosexuals, some of whom have tried to sign us up to gay websites, and to this ministry being noticed by the modern great and good.

To be honest, Daley has made so much of his sodomistic relationship with Dustin Lance Black that he cannot escape being, as the latter might put it, ‘called out’ about it.

Apparently, Daley ‘can’t wait to start a family’ with Black, whom he describes emetically as his ‘fiancé’. Oh, please. Someone tell Tom that to ‘start a family’ without surgical intervention you need sexual intercourse, and two men can’t do that.

They will have to get a girl involved somehow and the resulting child will be that of one or the other, not both of them. And how selfish is it of Daley to deprive a child of its mother?

DALEY WAS GOING FOR GOLD

Tom Daley was one of Team GB’s great gold medal hopes, having achieved bronze in London 2012.

Just days before the Rio Olympics started, Daley said: ‘I’m going into this Olympic Games for a gold medal.’

Well, he achieved a bronze with Dan Goodfellow in the men’s synchronised 10m platform. Astonishingly, as Felicity Morse noted in iNews, newspaper coverage of the medal was all about Daley.

‘A quick glance at the front pages on Tuesday and you’d be forgiven for thinking Tom Daley took home a bronze medal for Team GB all on his own,’ she wrote.

GOODFELLOW OUT OF THE PICTURE

His diving partner was even left out of the picture completely in the Daily Telegraph. Goodfellow’s mother, Sharon, (@goodfellowshar1) tweeted to Nick Sutton, editor of the BBC News Website: ‘Aug 8 @suttonnick I am very surprised by this photo. Is it for real? I am Dan’s mum.’

The Daily Mail did the same: ‘Tom’s leap to Olympic joy’, they wrote, ignoring Goodfellow completely. It was as if Daley had done it all on his own.

When it came to doing it on his own for real in the individual event, Daley was in the lead and in line for gold. After leading the field he crashed out in last place. The failure was described as ‘shocking’ by the Mail. So what scrambled his mind on the second day? My tweet provocatively suggested turning gay had not done him ‘any favours’.

TWITTER-SPHERE GOES INTO OVERDRIVE

The twitter-sphere went mad. The ‘gays’ were incensed. We were not ‘loving’, they suggested. Two of the victorious GB women’s hockey team were ‘married’ to each other, they said. Of course, the two women concerned are not married, merely gay-married. Another said Daley had ‘given young, gay people a role model’. Not young people, just ‘young gay people’. The ‘gays’ are very proud of Daley, his failure has hurt them and any criticism of him as a homosexual is beyond the gay pale.

Oscar Wilde said there was only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that was not being talked about. We were talked about for sure. Adrian Hilton’s much-viewed conservative website Archbishop Cranmer pontificated. J.K. Rowling tweeted. Baroness Barker retweeted some LibDem candidate. The Huffington Post reported. The US homosexual magazine Advocate got in on the act. Even the UK-based Metro paper reported J.K. Rowling’s comments, adding that my tweet was ‘vile’. A tiny bit over-the-top, possibly?

CASTER SEMENYA CHEATED GENUINE WOMEN

As to Caster Semenya, after her/his predictable victory in the women’s 800, she/he said about her/his critics: ‘Sport is all about uniting people and not discriminating. I feel sorry for them’. Well, actually, women’s sport is ‘about’ discriminating against men, Caster, and your internal testes give you an unfair testosterone-fueled advantage.

Intersex is a terrible affliction. We have great sympathy for Caster. But at the same time, in the interests of fairness and equity, she/he should not be competing in women’s events. Caster should feel sorry, not for the critics, but for the genuine women she/he cheated out of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, or even places, in the women’s 800m.

Athletics chiefs, including the Court for Arbitration in Sport, should act immediately in the case, reallocate the medals and ban intersex athletes from women’s events.

STAYING GAY IS A CHOICE

Going back to Tom Daley, he was seduced into sodomy by an older man, not very long after the untimely death of his beloved father. You don’t need a degree in psychology to work out what’s going on there. But even now, he could repent of all his sin (just like we all have to do) trust in Jesus and walk away from the homosexual lifestyle, like so many have before him. Becoming gay might or might not be a choice. Staying gay definitely is. And who knows, by transforming his mind (al la Romans 12:2) by the grace of God and by the infilling of the Holy Spirit Tom Daley might improve his diving as a result.

Sorry Caster Semenya, you aren’t a woman

P.P.S. Caster Semenya won the women’s 800m in Zurich in 1:56:45, as expected, on 1st September 2016, to win the Diamond League.

P.S. Caster Semenya won the Olympic women’s 800m, as expected, in 1:55:28 on 21st August 2016.

Tom Fordyce, writing on the BBC’s website, said Semenya’s Olympic win would ignite previous controversy about the athlete.

So it proved, with Britain’s Lynsey Sharp, Canada’s Melissa Bishop and Joanna Jozwik from Poland all saying the testosterone-fueled Semenya has an unfair advantage.

SEMENYA HAS INTERNAL TESTES, NOT OVARIES

Semenya was sadly born ‘intersex’, with physical characteristics typically associated with both men and women. Externally, one assumes ‘she’ looks like a woman. But Semenya lacks a womb or ovaries, and it is the latter which produce the female hormones oestrogen and progesterone.

Instead, according to Mike Hurst in the Australian Daily Telegraph, Semenya has internal testes. These are doing what they do and generating the male hormone testosterone. Women, especially athletes, do produce that hormone but at a maximum level less than a tenth that of the maximum for a man.

Caster Semenya ‘self-identifies’ as a woman but might equally ‘self-identify’ as a man. It’s a matter of choice. But men’s races would be more difficult for Semenya to win. Kenya’s David Rudisha won the 2016 Olympic men’s 800m in a time of 1:42.15. Women’s races are an easier touch.

DIAGNOSED WITH HYPERANDROGISM

Fordyce says Semenya made no public comment after a gold-medal-winning performance at the world championships in Berlin seven years ago, and neither have officials. Semenya won the 800m by the biggest margin in history. The athlete has tried not to release much information. Nevertheless, details of internal organs have emerged. It is also conceded there is a resulting diagnosis of hyperandrogenism, which leaves testosterone levels far in excess of the vast majority of women.

Testosterone is the principal male sex hormone. It promotes among other physical effects muscle mass and strength. Women athletes do have testosterone, but at much lower levels than men. IAAF decided post-Berlin that an intersex athlete with the condition had an unfair advantage over the other women competing. It is like an in-built performance-enhancing drug.

IAAF THRESHOLD RULE CHALLENGED

Four years ago, the IAAF decided that if a competitor had around three times higher levels of testosterone than naturally occured in 99% of female athletes, that competitor could not compete. Even that ‘three times’ threshold looks absurdly high.

Caster Semenya took medication to suppress testosterone levels, and her/his results dropped back. In London, in 2012, she/he had to settle for silver.

Then another intersex athlete, Indian sprinter Dutee Chand, challenged the IAAF’s hyperandrogenism regulations. The Court for Arbitration in Sport ruled in July 2015 that the IAAF had failed to provide enough evidence that testosterone improved female performance.

Dutee Chand, on the world stage, is actually not that fast. All sorts of factors affect running speed. I’ll never beat Kelly Holmes. (And don’t throw Phil 4:13 at me either.) But elite men as a group run faster than elite women, and that is down to their testosterone levels. In its controversial decision, the CAS suspended the hyperandrogenism regulations until July 2017 to give the IAAF time to gather evidence.

UNFAIR TO GENUINE WOMEN

In the meantime, Chand, Semenya and any other intersex athletes are free to compete without medication. Fordyce writes that Semenya’s subsequent results have been remarkable. She has not been ‘remotely challenged’ in races since (July 2015), he writes.

We can all agree Caster is made in the image of God and should be treated with due respect. The real question is, should an intersex person with her/his characteristics be allowed to compete in women’s sports events?

Should we just close our eyes to the immediate and obvious disadvantage of true women lining up against someone with male internal organs built like a brick outhouse? Who should the athletics authorities be fair to? Athletic events are staged around the Bibilical assumption that God ‘made them male and female’. There is no intermediate ‘intersex’ category.

LEVEL PLAYING FIELD DEMANDED BY THE ALMIGHTY

‘We separate men and women into categories because we want women to be able to win some competitions,’ says Eric Vilain, professor of human genetics at UCLA and consultant to the IOC medical commission. ‘There is 10 to 12% difference between male and female athletic performance.’ But he says IAAF have been set an impossible task. The article in which he is quoted also says women’s sports will not survive if the CAS ruling stands.

Simple justice dictates if an athlete comes along with a genetic condition that does not fit into the male/female divide, then sadly he/she should only be able to compete against men, not against women. To allow intersex athletes to compete in women’s events is unfair to genuine women athletes.

The word of God demands a ‘level playing field’: Proverbs 16:11 A just weight and balance are the LORD’S: all the weights of the bag are his work.

The same will also apply if a man-woman ‘transgender’ athlete demands to compete. And there will be the same outcry from sexual politics activists. Athletics has to take a stand now.

CASTER MARRIED A WOMAN

The story gets murkier. According to South Africa’s Sport24 website, Caster Semenya ‘married’ a woman last December in what was described as a ‘traditional’ wedding ceremony.

Semenya and her/his long-time girlfriend, Violet Raseboya, held the ceremony in Ga-Dikgale in the Capricorn District of Limpopo.

The website says: ‘According to reports, Semenya and Raseboya got engaged in May last year. Semenya was quick to dispel those reports, saying, “There is no wedding. Don’t believe the rumours you read in the news,” according to the Sowetan website.

‘However, according to the Daily Sun website, Semenya, 24, sent her parents to Raseboya’s family in Polokwane to negotiate lobola (dowry).

‘An insider revealed at the time that both families were happy to negotiate lobola, with Semenya’s family paying R25,000 (around £1,400).’ Dowry in Africa is paid by the man’s family to the woman’s.

That fits, because sadly, Caster Semenya, you are not a woman.

YOU CAN RUN ON FOR A LONG TIME

One day, Caster Semenya’s times will be deleted and medals re-allocated. That will be sad at a personal level, but the athlete is knowingly employing an unfair advantage over genuine women. That is contrary to justice.

As the song goes:

Prayer for Cabinet appointments

Last night, new Prime Minister Theresa May made six senior appointments, covering the three great offices of state (Chancellor, Home Office, Foreign Office), and created two new post-Brexit positions. Continue to pray for her appointments today.

BORIS JOHNSON

The most astonishing appointment last night was that of Boris Johnson as Foreign Secretary. Mr Johnson is said to have had wide experience dealing with foreign governments promoting the capital city as Mayor of London. He is much better disposed to Russia than his predecessor and apparently speaks five languages fluently, including German and Russian.

The latter will be especially useful as he pursues what we pray will be a more positive engagement with Russia than that taken by his predecessor. (Although never under-estimate the power of the PUS – see the picture. Sir Simon Fraser, Mr McDonald’s predecessor, has already said “highly professional people” will surround Mr Johnson as he takes on the role. Sir Humphrey?

Mr Johnson, like Theresa May, is pro-Israel. The BBC reports: ‘In 2015, Mr Johnson had to cancel planned public events in the West Bank because of security fears after he criticised backers of a boycott on Israeli goods, and he has previously described Hilary Clinton – US presidential hopeful – as having “a steely blue stare, like a sadistic nurse in a mental hospital.”‘

British sanctions against trade with Russia must be ended and Russian efforts to bring stability to Syria supported. We can pray that Boris, with a great-grand-father from Moscow, will have nothing to do with the posturing of the world elite which needs to see Russia as the big enemy and President Vladimir Putin as an aggressor and a threat.

A more positive engagement will help as Mr Johnson tries, as we hope he will, to find the reasons behind Russia’s new anti-evangelism law and argue against it from an informed and friendly position.

Write to your MP. Ask him/her to congratulate the new Foreign Secretary on your behalf and to ask him to pursue a positive engagement with Russia, lift sanctions and let you know what discussions he has with Russian officials about Russia’s new anti-evangelism law, which, of course, concerns you.

PHILIP HAMMOND

I prayed yesterday and I am still praying that Philip Hammond would leave the government completely, because of his stance on Syria and Russia (see below). Mr Johnson taking his place at the Foreign Office was a spectacular and unexpected part-answer to that prayer.

Mr Hammond, with his ‘Assad must go’ rhetoric, showed himself both ignorant of reality in Syria, and in thrall to the US-driven elites of this world. I made a video on this topic last October with an emphasis on Syrian Christians: Syria – Sense and Compassion. Do take a look – it’s less than 4 minutes.

Mr Hammond was also part of ‘Project Fear’ with his view that it would take longer than World War II to leave the European Union.

In the event, he has been made Chancellor of the Exchequer, which is a promotion. Pray for him to have the great wisdom and vision that job needs at any time, but especially at this time. I still pray that the Lord will intervene and that he will not be there long.

MICHAEL FALLON

Mr Fallon retains the post of Secretary of State for Defence. He was part of the ‘Assad must go’ triumverate (with Mr Cameron and Mr Hammond) and the same arguments apply to him as apply to Mr Hammond. It was a spectacularly ignorant and stupid line originated by William, Lord, Hague, totally driven by the desire of the US to destablise that country for financial and strategic reasons – Russia has bases in Syria.

It has cost hundreds of thousands of lives and drove the migration disaster of last summer, in which thousands of Islamic State activists were able to infiltrate European Union nations.

The United Kingdom needs a Defence Secretary able to stand up to the US in NATO and end the current policy of military build-ups and sabre-rattling at the Russian border. Make no mistake, such things are planned by the elite for their benefit, not ours. A top insider, Craig Breedlove, former head of NATO, was at the Bilderberg meeting in Dresden last month. And a series of leaked emails published in RT show how keen he has been to push the Obama administration into agitating in Ukraine and aggression against Russia.

I am praying that Mr Fallon has a change of heart and becomes a man of peace, whose strength is in the Lord. His voting record is good on the issues that matter. He voted against ‘gay marriage’ and against doctor-assisted dying, for instance. But he voted for military intervention against President Assad’s forces in Syria. if the Lord will not change his heart, will the Lord replace Mr Fallon as well.

Write to your MP (a separate letter with a different date will be best) and ask him/her to ask the Secretary of State for Defence to pull British forces out of NATO’s aggressive current confrontation with Russia.

AMBER RUDD

The new Home Secretary was, like Mr Hammond and Mr Fallon, a ‘Remainer’ who voted against having a referendum at all. She also voted for ‘gay marriage’ and, like Mr Fallon, for military action in Syria. That vote, mercifully, was lost. She abstained on doctor-assisted dying. Her voting record goes back no further than 2010, because that was when she first became MP for Hastings and Rye.

Amber Rudd stands in need of our prayer as she takes charge of this vital office of state. We should especially pray against the introduction of intrusive surveillance measures and the use of real or imagined threats to curtail civil liberties.

DAVID DAVIS

Thank the Lord that the veteran parliamentarian has become the new Secretary of State for Brexit, or whatever it will be called. This is an inspired appointment, as apart from a lapse when he voted for Masstrict, Mr Davis has been constantly opposed to the EU, as he has to measures like ‘gay marriage’.

The ‘kings of the earth’ are even now working out ways to prevent Brexit. Both US Secretary of State John Kerry and Tony Blair have said it could be ‘reversed’ or walked back’.

So Mr Davis will need much prayer as he negotiates the UK’s exit with the European Unions’s Commission and/or Council of Ministers (they are currently fighting a turf war over which will handle the talks). He will need to invoke Article 50 quickly and be unafraid to pull out of the Single Market completely if that requires accepting freedom of movement.

Freedom of movement was perhaps the biggest factor persuading people to leave the EU, because of the problems it brings. It is not a matter of hospitality, it is a matter of social cohesion and security, as I showed in this video.

Mr Davis should remember the four reasons why the Germans will back down: Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagon and BMW. Other countries trade with the EU without being in the Single Market, the USA and India, to name just two.

Write to your MP (separate letter!) and ask him/her to congratulate the Secretary of State for Brexit on his appointment and wish him well. Ask your MP to ask him to invoke Article 50 immediately and to be ready to leave the Single Market completely if freedom of movement is demanded as a condition of remaining in it.

LIAM FOX

Liam Fox has been appointed Secretary of State for International Trade, a new and significant office in Theresa May’s new Cabinet.

Dr Fox will be responding to nations across the world who are now queuing up to do trade deals with the UK. He reputedly knows the United States very well, but Commonwealth countries are obvious new trading partners. It was encouraging to see Ghana preparing a trade delegation. The European Union has caused much hardship across Africa and developing countries in other parts of the world by dumping food aid, knowingly depressing prices and impoverishing local farmers.

There is an opportunity here for us to do more for fair trade than just buying tea and coffee. We should also pray that overseas aid becomes much smarter. I’m anxious to be in touch with those who know best how fair trade principles could form the bedrock of Dr Fox’s approach, and let us pray that he will have great success. Let us pray that Brexit re-establishes Britain as a newly-free, global, outward-looking trading nation, one built this time on fairness and justice, not on deception and exploitation.

Write to your MP (yet another separate letter!) and ask him/her to congratulate the Secretary of State for International Trade on his appointment and wish him well in it. Ask your MP to ask the Secretary of State how fair trade principles will inform his dealings with developing nations.

LASTLY

Lastly, look out for chattering classes and the Twitter-sphere expressing ‘alarm’ and ‘concern’ over the elevation of Boris, David Davis and Dr Fox. Such will mean they are good appointments! We should never put our trust in princes, but Theresa May (be sure to put an ‘h’ in her name) has shown she was true when she said ‘Brexit means Brexit’. Those of our readers who supported Remain should also be praying the Lord uses the Brexit vote and this new administration for his glory and to advance his Kingdom on earth.

Mrs May will be familiar with these two prayers from the Anglican Morning Prayer service in the Book of Common Prayer. They can apply to an individual or a nation and they spoke to me vividly this morning:

A Collect for Peace.
O God, who art the author of peace and lover of concord, in knowledge of whom standeth our eternal life, whose service is perfect freedom; Defend us thy humble servants in all assaults of our enemies; that we, surely trusting in thy defence, may not fear the power of any adversaries, through the might of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Collect for Grace.
O Lord, our heavenly Father, Almighty and everlasting God, who hast safely brought us to the beginning of this day; Defend us in the same with thy mighty power; and grant that this day we fall into no sin, neither run into any kind of danger; but that all our doings, being ordered by thy governance, may be righteous in thy sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Sodomite Superhead Stripped of Schools

A much feted self-styled ‘superhead’ will be stripped of the schools in Birmingham under his command following the discovery of financial mismanagement, but is extraordinarily going to keep his job as headteacher, according to reports.

Liam Nolan pleaded with the General Teaching Council to keep his job after a conviction for a homosexual offence at the Midlands Sandwell Valley beauty spot in 2007. Three of his school governors quit in protest. Later Nolan invited Sir Ian McKellen to promote sodomy at the original Perry Beeches school in Great Barr, Birmingham in 2009, leading to a Christian Voice street witness outside the school.

Nolan subsequently fronted a Stonewall conference encouraging teachers to follow his example. It was called ‘Education for all’ with the subtitle ‘challenging homophobia and supporting young people.’

The Guardian reports Nolan and his Perry Beeches Academies Trust will be stripped of the five academies he runs as chief executive.

The Education Funding Agency investigated only after whistleblower allegations about the financial connection between Nolan and a supply company, Nexus Schools Ltd. The EFA Report found ‘Nexus Schools Ltd’ received £1.3m from the Government and paid another company, ‘Liam Nolan Ltd’, £160,000 over two years to add to his £120,000 per year salary as head teacher.

The Birmingham Mail reports that Liam Nolan has stepped down as the Academies Trust’s chief executive following a call from Birmingham Councillor Brigid Jones for the trustees to consider their positions.

But the same paper later reported that Nolan was set to keep his job as headteacher.

The BBC reports that politicians from Michael Gove, as Education Secretary, and David Cameron praised Liam Nolan. The Prime Minister even invited the stalwart Labour supporter to address the Conservative Party Conference then opened his third academy, Perry Beeches III. This was despite their knowing about Nolan’s promotion of sodomy at Perry Beeches and his conviction for outraging public decency by a jury at Wolverhampton Crown Court in June 2007 where he was fined £1,000 with £1,500 costs. The man he was with was fined £250. At the time Nolan described himself as ‘gay’ and said he was ‘in a relationship’.

Nolan’s willingness to engage with the academy programme made him the Government’s poster-boy. But now that his sexual immorality has spilled over into financial mismanagement, critics are pointing out that the academies idea is open to anyone who wants to make a quick buck to take advantage of the system.

Schools gay propaganda in RE

Children in Cambridgeshire are to indoctrinated with pro-sodomy propaganda following a decision by the local Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE), chaired by Cllr Tony Orgee (left).

The leaflet will promote the teaching of ‘gender identity’ and ‘sexuality’ in religious education in the County.

Both are ‘protected’ characteristics under the Equality Act 2010 and public authorities in England and Wales, which includes county councils responsible for education, have a duty under Section 149 of the Act to promote them.

The Committee, which includes a Mormon and a Muslim, approved the leaflet at its meeting on 4th February but has not yet openly published it. It was due to be discussed at pro-sodomy charity Stonewall’s first inter-faith seminar on 25th February and the news report said it ‘contains advice about handling issues around
gender identity and sexuality in RE, together with a range of resources for teachers’.

SACRE chairman and Cambridgeshire County Councillor Tony Orgee (Conservative) said: “Religion is about how people live their lives and raises questions about what it is to be human. It encompasses a diversity of views about the ethical ideals that guide human behaviour and why these are followed.

“All religions therefore present a range of beliefs and practices relevant to issues relating to human sexuality
and gender identity. This new leaflet crystallizes the importance of adhering to these values – it will be an invaluable teaching aid.”

What Cllr Orgee did not say is that religion is first and foremost about how people search for whatever they see as divine and that not one world religion endorses sodomy as a legitimate behaviour.

Tory-run Cambridgeshire County Councillor Ed Cearns, Liberal Democrat, a fellow member of SACRE, added: “I am delighted this leaflet has been produced to coincide with LGBT history month.

“As a former RE teacher, I understand … the vital work of fostering an understanding of the harm caused by homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying.”

One would have thought that any bullying was harmful, but propaganda such as the SACRE leaflet is not about stopping bullying – it may even add to it – but about promoting perversion.

Cllr Cearns is himself homosexual. He was on the Rainbow Radio show on http://cambridge105.fm/ on the 20th of this month talking about ‘being gay in the council and LGBT History Month’ (which is February, of course – you knew that).

Interestingly, Cllr Cearns said publishing the leaflet was part of something called “the Stonewall Education Index”. He meant its ‘Education Equality Index‘ which is a league table of education authorities which are doing the most to promote perversion. Cambridgeshire County Council is third, after Bath & North East Somerset Council and Hertfordshire County Council. All three are Conservative-controlled.

Cllr Cearns is a very committed gay activist. He popped up when the LGBT ‘history month’ bandwagon rolled into Cambridge at the end of last year, complete with ‘lessons for local primary school children and workshops for youth workers, faith workers and librarians.’

And when Cambridgeshire County Council failed to fly the homosexual ‘rainbow’ flag from Shire Hall in February 2014, it was Cllr Cearns who led the complaints. He was rewarded when the flag was flown for the first time this year. No doubt an OBE will follow in due course, for ‘services to diversity’.

One person who will receive no such honour, nor would he welcome it, is farmer, journalist and political activist Robin Page. The former ‘one man and his dog’ television presenter is also a fiercely independent councillor for South Cambridgeshire District Council. When that outfit flew the rainbow flag in February 2013, he blogged:

“The event is pathetic and makes the council a PC laughing stock. In fact it shows a lack of respect to the rest of society. What about those who are celibate – who have achieved much throughout history – is a flag being raised for them?

“Then of course we could have a flag celebrating vegans? And what about a flag celebrating the achievements of all those with irritable bowel syndrome? I want to be part of a community – not a division in a conglomerate of divisions.”

Conservative Tony Orgee, who as well as being on the Cambridgeshire SACRE as a County Councillor is also chair of South Cambs, described Mr Page’s comments as “very disappointing”. There’s a surprise.
