I would say of course the UK will keep the ban on pesticides which harm bees after we leave the EU. Why would we not do so ? Most regulatations like that will carry into UK law almost automatically.
Why would we not do so? Pressure from agri-business? This needs prayer and witness to our MPs.
But you yourself are agri-business, and you realise that pollination is important to crops. So do not a few MPs of rural constituencies already, and the Greens, and just about everybody. I love bees. I always feel like stroking them.
Anyway, most of these EU regulations which we already agree to will pass (back) into law without any further debate.
Let us hope and prayb the best will not be swept away and the worst will not be ‘enshrined’ as they put it.
Hmm, I would counsel against indulging your impulse to stroke bees, Rox. They are equipped with a sting mechanism, which they would undoubtedly be inclined to use against you.
I don’t know if they would. They look so friendly, and I would be very gentle.
Cats can bite, but most cats don’t.
tricky chaps, bees. Cats aren’t much better
