The RC Gay Sex Scandal – Abuse of the Truth

2

The first bit of misinformation to nail in the ‘paedophile priests’ story is that all the abuse is actually ‘paedophile’, in that it is being perpetrated on little children.  The majority of the perpetrators (reports vary from two-thirds to 90%) appear to have been sexually interested in teenage boys rather than primary-school children.  And that 13-17 pubertal age-group happens to be the one which a good number of homosexual men will readily admit attracts them.

The second canard is the contention that sex scandals in the church are derived from celibacy and not from homosexuality.  In other words, that it is the Roman Catholic Church’s rule that its priests must be celibate which turns them into rampaging abusers.  The figures don’t bear this out.

Something between 4% and 6% of priests in the US Roman Catholic Church are reckoned to be abusers.   (The New York Times, 12/01/2002, found 1.8% of priests involved, and four out of five victims were male.)  Christian Voice is not upholding celibacy amongst priests; both Testaments assume those ministering in either Temple or Church are married.  Furthermore, we read in the Bible that believers in general, not a subset, are ‘a kingdom of priests’.  But to be fair, if celibacy were at fault, why do around 95% of Roman Catholic priests manage to avoid interfering with those in their charge?

On the other hand, homosexual men seem attracted like wasps around a jam jar to paid and voluntary positions involving proximity to teenage boys.  The Paedophile Information Exchange which existed as a campaigning group in Britain in the 1970s and 1980s had men with a wide range of sexual preference, from small children up to teenagers.  According to its last Chairman, two of the group’s executive were in voluntary work with children; one as a scoutmaster, the other as a Sunday-School teacher.  (Smith S in ‘Betrayal of Youth’ pages 242-243)

The vicious campaign to force the US Scouts movement to allow homosexual men to serve as scout leaders was only partly for hurt feelings of being discriminated against  (and even then it was because ‘the gays’ did not like the assumption that they weren’t safe around young boys).  The real reason was to open up the recruiting pool.

Apart from the Scout Movement, teaching and the Church are other professions attractive to predatory homosexuals.   (incidentally, although teaching has had more than its fair share of sexual predators, no-one is pointing fingers at the profession as a whole.)  And in the Church, the one denomination which requires its men not to be married is an obvious choice.

Secularists are constantly telling the Church to move with the times, to be reconciled to modern evils like abortion and gay rights.  US lesbian columnist Tammy Bruce writes this about the Roman Catholic Church: ‘The institution may not have adapted to the feminist and gay civil-rights movements, but the priesthood sure did.  The result of all that reconciling is what we’re dealing with today – predatory gay priests seducing adolescent boys.’ (Bruce T, The Death of Right and Wrong, 2003 Three Rivers Press, New York p47)

The sexual abuse scandal seems to have been at its peak from the 1960s to the 1980s.  These were decades, according to the Washington Post, when more than half of the priests surveyed by the Council of the National Federation of Priests identified a ‘homosexual subculture’ in their diocese or seminary.  (Hanna Rosin, Priest Survey: Gay Cliques Exist, Washington Post, 16/08/2002) In his book Goodbye Good Men, investigative reporter Michael Rose documented the homosexual infiltration of the American Catholic hierarchy.  Some orthodox men told him they left the seminary after suffering sexual harassment by homosexual faculty members and students, while others were drummed out as ‘too rigid’ after they admitted to being opposed to homosexuality. (Bruce T, op cit, pp225-226)

And still those secularist journalists berate the church in general and the Church of Rome in particular to be less dogmatic about sexual mores and subjects like abortion and homosexuality.  Christian Voice is not an apologist for Roman Catholicism, but it rather seems on the subject of the evils of sodomy in its seminaries, and faced with the problem of sexually-compulsive gay men swamping them, that successive popes have not been nearly dogmatic enough.

Tammy Bruce asks: ‘Why have these damaged gay men joined the priesthood, only to betray their vows to God and to society?  How have they dared to destroy the lives of children in their selfish effort to obtain sexual satisfaction?  The answer lies partly with them and partly with our society, since these malignant narcissists have been brought up and developed by our rotting culture.  … The abuse of children by Catholic priests, I contend, is the most perfectly clear microcosm of the conscious and subconscious agenda of the left to make society – all of it – look like them.  In this instance, it is gay men, and the Gay Establishment, using the church for their gratification while simultaneously blaming the church for what certain gay men have inflicted.’  (Bruce T, op cit, p224)

Child Sex Supporter Tatchell to Speak at Greenbelt

2

The Greenbelt arts festival, ‘rooted within a Christian tradition which is world-affirming, politically and culturally engaged, … that embraces instead of excludes,’ has invited a supporter of under-age sex and homosexual ‘cruising’ to speak this year (2010)

Peter Tatchell, who contributed to the campaigning paedophile book Betrayal Of Youth, published in 1986 and edited by a Paedophile Information Exchange committee-member, will join a line-up which includes pro-abortion ex-MP Clare Short and Leftist American theologian Stanley Hauerwaus at Cheltenham racecourse over August bank-holiday.

CHILDREN HAVE ‘A RIGHT TO HAVE SEX’

Last year, the heretical homosexual bishop from New Hampshire, Gene Robinson, took the stage at Greenbelt . But inviting someone who believes that a child has the right to a sex life is a rather more dramatic step down the ladder which leads to total depravity.

Betrayal Of Youth was part of a campaign to abolish all ages of consent, destroy the responsibilities of parents for their children, deny any ill-effects on children of interference by paedophiles, and withal to make it easier for paedophiles to gain sexual access to children.

One of Tatchell’s co-contributors, ‘out’ paedophile Roger Moody, had earlier had the brilliant idea of switching the argument away from the rights of adults to have sex with children, towards the rights of children to have sex with adults, or with whoever or whatever they wanted. He wrote: ‘the only people who have the right to kid’s rights – are the kids themselves.’ So at a stroke, paedophiles were talking the language of The Rights Of The Child.

Unlike many of his co-contributors Peter Tatchell is not a paedophile, but his article, ‘Questioning Ages of Majority and Ages of Consent‘, certainly served their purpose. In it he said: ‘In a fully democratic and egalitarian society, there can be no question of adults usurping the rights of young people by keeping them in a state of ignorance, fear and guilt, or by resort to arbitrary and autocratic laws which deny them responsibility for decisions affecting their lives.’

14-YEAR-OLD LEE ‘LIKES MEN IN THEIR 20s OR 30s’

Even today, on his website, Peter Tatchell argues for a sexual consent law which accommodates the requirements of a fourteen-year-old boy he calls Lee who has been ‘having sex with boys since the age of eight and with men since he was 12.’ Lee says he ‘likes men in their 20s or 30s. They are more experienced and serious.’

Tatchell comments: ‘The age of consent laws don’t make it easy for Lee to have a stable gay relationship.’ According to Lee, and Tatchell does not bat an eyelid at this: ‘The law is stupid. If I know what I’m doing and I’m not harming anyone else, I should be allowed to have sex with who I want.’

It rather goes without saying that this is not in accordance with the Biblical witness. It is also fairly certain that parents, even those irresponsible enough to take their children to Greenbelt in the first place, do not want to drive back from Cheltenham only to hear their twelve-year-old son or daughter claim they have a right to a gay sex life.

The most wishy-washy liberal Christian parents probably do not want their adolescent children looking up Peter Tatchell on the internet when they arrive home and telling them not to usurp their rights to decide what they want for their lives or where they wish to go cruising for anonymous sex. As the American College of Paediatricians has pointed out, introducing teenagers to the idea that they might be homosexual is detrimental, wrongly affirming feelings they would otherwise grow out of.

GREENBELT IS ‘INCLUSIVE’

Greenbelt says it is ‘inclusive’, which means ‘accepting of all, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexuality, background or belief.’ The key words in that disingenuous statement are ‘sexuality’ and ‘belief’. What Christian event would not be open regardless of ethnicity? What family event, as this is, would not welcome both men and women of whatever background? But ‘sexuality’ and ‘belief’? Does that ‘all’ accept and embrace the sexuality and beliefs of 14-year-old Lee and his 30-year-old boyfriend?

A planet-hugging ‘global justice’ atmosphere pervades at Greenbelt , according to reports. This year, Greenbelt has a ‘new eco-spirituality worship venue’. Greenbelt’s partners are Christian Aid and the Methodist Church. For both of those, salvation is worked out by buying Fairtrade coffee and the UK Government is judged solely by how much taxpayers’ money it gives in overseas aid. How the money is spent is largely immaterial. The assuaging of comfortable western consciences is all that matters. With their long-range binoculars, Greenbelt and its partners ignore their own land, where culturally every day is just a bit more secularist, sexualised, crass and brutal than the one before, to agonise over conditions in the Gaza Strip.

‘NOTHING WRONG’ WITH ANONYMOUS CASUAL SEX

When Anglican Mainstream’s Lisa Nolland pointed out to Greenbelt that Peter Tatchell sees nothing wrong with anonymous casual sex like homosexual ‘cruising’, she received this response: ‘Every year Greenbelt hosts speakers with varying and sometimes contrasting views on a whole range of subjects.’ No, it doesn’t. It only invites those of a liberal, socialist, pacifist, grindingly politically-correct disposition. Dissenting, radical, Biblical, Christ-centred voices are collectively persona non-grata.

But have they gone too far with Tatchell? His profile on the Greenbelt website has been watered down by a worried management. It started off a couple of months ago by calling him ‘a militant queer rights campaigner.’ When Mainstream started asking questions, this was sanitised to ‘best known as a controversial campaigner on issues of sexual freedom and human rights.’ On further reflection, the new Greenbelt Festival Director, Gawain Hewitt, decided Tatchell was merely ‘campaigning for human rights, democracy and global justice … driven by a love for humankind.’ Yes, he is still ‘campaigning to complete the struggle for gay and lesbian equality in the UK ‘, but now Peter ‘also works in solidarity with human rights activists in many other countries’.

HUMAN RIGHTS ‘R’ US

So human rights is Peter Tatchell’s forte. That is very Greenbelt . Even completing the struggle for gay and lesbian equality to the extent of forcing Christians to shut up and stop criticising them may well accord with Greenbelt philosophy. But viewing human rights to include those of fourteen-year-old boys to have sex with adult men? For some reason, Greenbelt haven’t yet owned up to that aspect of their guest’s profile.

PRAY: That Christians start forming their opinions on the word of God which is the Bible rather than on fashionable liberal trends. Pray that the Body of Christ will start acting worthy of His name. Pray that we stop being one-dimensional and start witnessing for the whole of the Gospel, politically-incorrect though it may be in Britain today. Pray that Greenbelt will withdraw their invitation to Peter Tatchell.

Sex Offender Head Leads Stonewall School Campaign

1

A convicted sex offender is leading a campaign by a homosexual lobby group to promote sodomy in schools.

Liam Nolan, 42, is leading a session on how to use bullying as an excuse to get sodomy talked about in the classroom at a conference organised by Stonewall. It is being held in the British Library on Friday 2nd June.

‘IN A RELATIONSHIP’

Nolan was convicted in June 2007 of outraging public decency after a furtive encounter with a male stranger in bushes at Birmingham beauty spot Sandwell Valley . Astonishingly, he was allowed to continue as head teacher of nearby Perry Beeches school.

Nolan’s sordid ‘cruising’ excursion happened despite his claim that he was ‘in a relationship’ at the time. Recent research from the homosexual network shows that gay couples routinely cheat on each other, even in so-called ‘committed’ long-term relationships, to a extent orders of magnitude greater than married heterosexuals.

Stonewall’s conference is called ‘Education for all’ and the subtitle is ‘challenging homophobia and supporting young people.’

SCHOOLS NOW REQUIRED TO PROMOTE PERVERSION

Promotional material says it is ‘ Britain ‘s leading event dedicated to tackling homophobic bullying and promoting equality amongst young people.’ It includes ‘opportunities for you to find out how to combat homophobic bullying and comply with forthcoming laws’.

The conference is well-connected, reflecting Stonewall’s status as politically-correct feet-under-the-table government advisors. Several civil servants are leading sessions.

Patrick Leeson, Director of Education and Care at Ofsted is taking part, as is Teresa Clark, who is ‘Head of Equality Mainstreaming’ at the Department for Children Schools and Families. She will speak on ‘The new public duty and what it means for schools’. The title of her lecture refers to the Equality Act 2010 which placed a new duty on public authorities, including all schools, to promote homosexuality and transsexuality.

The Stonewall website tells teachers, in words which will worry parents, ‘The new public duty will require you to proactively consider and accommodate the needs of lesbian, gay and bisexual young people and promote equality. Attend the conference to find out how.’

HOW TO PROMOTE SODOMY THROUGH THE CURRICULUM

Parents have complained that schools are using the whole curriculum to promote sodomy, rather than just addressing the subject in specific sex and relationships education (SRE) classes, which would be bad enough. When Muslim parents of children at George Tomlinson Primary School in London’s Waltham Forest tried to withdraw their children from a week of teaching about ‘LGBT History’ last year, the head teacher told them the school was adopting a ‘whole-curriculum’ approach, making it impossible for them to withdraw their children.

So of further concern will be the presence of Mark Chater, Curriculum Advisor with the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency, leading a session for gay activist teachers on ‘How to promote equality through the curriculum’. He will back up Stonewall’s suggestion to teachers that they should be ‘integrating teaching on difference and diversity into your work and actively promoting equality’.

Most parents would say that is not why they send their children to school. The parents at George Tomlinson Primary School – thirty of them – defied the head and the local Education Authority and kept their children off school for the whole of LGBT week last year, by the way. After a lively campaign and meetings with LEA and school officials, no school in Waltham Forest ran ‘LGBT week’ this year. That was a welcome set-back for ‘the gays’ and a testimony to ‘parent-power’.

PARENTAL RESISTANCE GETS GAYS WORRIED

Parents, especially parents who go to the press, are a major obstacle to the promotion of sodomy in schools. Parental opposition is such a worry that the conference will have a session taken by one Sara Hassell of the feminist, pro-gay ‘Parentline Plus’. The session is entitled: ‘Managing resistance – working with parents and carers.’ For ‘working with’, read ‘neutralising’, ‘working round’, ‘patronising’ or even ‘flatly ignoring’.

We saw from the draft NICE guidelines released on 15th June 2010 that parents and carers are viewed with a mixture of fear and contempt by the entire sex education industry. Parents are people who should be ‘managed’, ‘reassured’, ‘provided with information’, and have the benefits of explicit material which any sane person would regard as inappropriate for a child ‘explained’ to them. Those with ‘diverse faith and cultural beliefs’ are people whose ‘discrimination and prejudice should be discussed and challenged.’

Finally, just before those attending get stuck into Stonewall’s ‘Wine reception’, Rikki Beadle-Blair, the director of Stonewall’s new film ‘FIT’, which pretends that a predliction for perversion (in which previous sexual abuse, emotional disturbance and sinful choice all play a part) is morally no different from race or hair colour (which are morally neutral, and which people are born with). He will show ‘how to use’ his propaganda production ‘in the classroom’.

NO EVIDENCE

Let us be clear that there is no academic peer-reviewed evidence whatsoever that pro-sodomy propaganda decreases the amount of bullying in schools. It is more plausible that bringing homosexuality to the attention of children, particularly in primary school, may even increase name-calling. Children who would not have thought of it before can begin to use epithets like ‘lezzie’ against little girls who are holding hands, or accuse non-sporting boys of being ‘gay’ after the introduction of lessons like the ones Chater is urging.

Stonewall say ‘In schools that have said homophobic bullying is wrong, gay young people are 60 per cent more likely not to have been bullied and are twice as likely to enjoy going to school and feel part of the school community. Pupils who have been taught in a positive way about lesbian and gay issues are 60 per cent more likely to be happy at school and 69 per cent more likely to feel able to be themselves.’

The figures, or most of them, come from their publication ‘The School Report’, but that document was based on anecdotal evidence and failed even to give the raw figures which led to the conclusions supposedly drawn.

MORE FAT CHILDREN BULLIED – BUT STONEWALL DON’T CARE

The fact is, following years of pro-gay programming on TV, children are more aware of sodomy but the overwhelmingly majority still view it resolutely as a perversion. They use the word ‘gay’ to refer to things, garments or people who are not ‘cool’. Stonewall themselves say that “98 per cent of young gay people and 95 per cent of secondary school teachers hear the phrases ‘that’s so gay’ or ‘you’re so gay’ at school”.

Stonewall say also that a YouGov poll of secondary school teachers ‘found that homophobic bullying is the most frequent form of bullying after bullying because of weight, three times more prevalent than bullying due to religion or ethnicity.’ Significantly, no-one is holding a conference to decrease fatophobic bullying. Fat children are fair game in Stonewall’s focused world.

Of course the YouGov figures do not mean that those targeted were actually homosexual. It just means that the homosexuality was being used as an insult. Even Parentline Plus say on their website: ‘Your child might be the victim of homophobic abuse even if they are not gay.’ The way to deal with this is for a school to have a simple policy against bullying, cursing and name-calling of any kind. Singling out one type of abuse is discriminatory.

‘SERIOUS RISK OF ERRONEOUSLY LABELLING STUDENTS’

It is plausible that an increased awareness of homosexuality being promoted by authority figures such as teachers will increase homosexual name-calling, lead to more girls and boys being so labelled by bullies, and if these children are emotionally fragile for whatever reason, it can lead to them self-identifying as ‘gay’. That will increase Stonewall’s client base, which may well be the main motivation for the conference and their whole anti-bullying campaign.

The American College of Pediatrics reported that as many as 26% of 12-year-olds were uncertain of their sexual orientation, yet only 2-3% of adults identify themselves as homosexual. The British surveys have found even fewer adult homosexuals. ‘If school personnel encourage students to “come out as gay” and be “affirmed” there is a serious risk of erroneously labelling students who may merely be experiencing transient sexual confusion and/or engaging in sexual experimentation.’  See also http://factsaboutyouth.com/

Stonewall live on a planet where even children below the age of puberty can be homosexual. They say: “Bullying of this type isn’t limited to older students. More than two in five primary school teachers say that young people, regardless of their sexual orientation, currently experience homophobic bullying in their schools and three quarters hear children use expressions such as ‘that’s so gay’ or ‘you’re so gay’.”

SEXUALISING PRIMARY-SCHOOL CHILDREN IS GROOMING

Stonewall are very keen to get primary-school children thinking about homosexuality. Anywhere else, such a ‘catch them young’ approach would be condemned as grooming. But those who believe that small children can be ‘gay’ seem to be keen on sexualising them.

Stonewall are worried that ‘less than a quarter of young people have been told that homophobic bullying is wrong in their school and nine in ten teachers and non-teaching staff at secondary and primary schools have never received any specific training on how to prevent and respond to homophobic bullying.’ Their potential for expansion, now bolstered by the Equality Act 2010, is therefore huge. Parents of children at all ages need to be very much on their guard.

PRO-SODOMY EDUCATION AUTHORITIES

Parents need to be especially aware of the threat to their children in the following local authorities which are members of Stonewall’s ‘Education Champions Programme’:

  • Blackpool Council
  • Brighton and Hove City Council

Homosexuals Adulterating Marriage

0

Not satisfied with mere civil partnerships, homosexuals are constantly demanding the right to marry. What could this mean for the institution of marriage? Already some newspapers refer to civil ceremonies as ‘weddings’, and a pair of lesbians are often called ‘brides’, in a parody of the purity and loveliness of a real bride..

Does such language degrade true marriage, proper weddings and real brides? And given their renowned promiscuity, how would homosexuals cope with an institution characterised by the intention – at least – of lifelong sexual fidelity? Would they try to change it and in so doing, would they rip all meaning out of it?

COUNTERFEIT

At the most basic level, it depends on how many fake marriages there are. There is a certain number of £50 notes in circulation. Every counterfeit note depresses the value of the real ones. In the same way, the counterfeit of marriage which is civil partnership reduces the value of real marriage, and if homosexuals were allowed to marry, it would be devalued further.

As Mollie Ziegler Hemingway put in Christianity Today on 10th May 2010, ‘the question that same-sex marriage advocates frequently ask, “How would gay marriage affect your marriage?” is posed rhetorically, as if marriage is a private institution with no social consequences.’ Her article went on to defend chastity and fidelity against an onslaught against these Christian virtues contained in an article in The New York Times.

The article, on ‘homosexual unions’ claimed that these ‘could significantly alter marriage norms’. It centred on a new study of homosexual couples in San Francisco . Half of these are “open,” meaning that partners consent to each other having sex with other people.

SEXUALLY OPEN RELATIONSHIPS

The New York Times article, written by a homosexual, Scott James, said that the prevalence of such relationships could “rewrite the traditional rules of matrimony”. It would do this, James argued, by ‘showing straight couples that monogamy need not be a “central feature” of marriage and that sexually open relationships might “point the way for the survival of the institution.”‘

Significantly, nobody in an ‘open relationship’ agreed to give their full name for the story, worrying that “discussing the subject could undermine the legal fight for same-sex marriage.” If it comes out, so to speak, that relationships based on sodomy are intrinsically unfaithful and unstable, then marriage would seem, in the public mind, an inappropriate institution in which to accommodate them.

The Family Research Council (FRC) reviewed some of the evidence of the stability and fidelity of both marriages and homosexual relationships. Taking various census findings and surveys of homosexual life, they showed that, even with all the current pressures to have affairs and divorce, around 60% of couples married in the 60s and 70s had been able to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. Only 5% of homosexual couples had done so. 70% of couples married in the 80s were still together after 10 years, a feat achieved by a mere 14% of gays.

STAGGERING LEVELS OF PROMISCUITY
85% of married women and 76.5% of married men reported sexual fidelity in a study by McWhirter and Mattison. Only 4.5% of homosexual men could say the same. Other studies note the staggering levels of promiscuity amongst homosexual men. Bell and Weinberg found the 43% of white male homosexuals had sex with 500 or more partners. Paul Van de Ven et al found the same: ‘”the modal range for number of sexual partners ever [of homosexuals] was 101-500.” In addition, 10.2 percent to 15.7 percent had between 501 and 1,000 partners. A further 10.2 percent to 15.7 percent reported having had more than one thousand lifetime sexual partners.’

McWhirter and Mattison reported that, in a study of 156 males in homosexual relationships lasting from one to thirty-seven years, only seven were monogamous, and ‘all couples with a relationship lasting more than five years have incorporated some provision for outside sexual activity in their relationships.’ According to McWhirter and Mattison, ‘most homosexual men understood sexual relations outside the relationship to be the norm and viewed adopting monogamous standards as an act of oppression.’

Family Research Council say: ‘the extremely low rate of sexual fidelity among homosexual men dramatically contrasts with the high rate of fidelity among married heterosexuals.’

LACK OF COMMITMENT
The lack of commitment mirrored that found in the San Francisco study cited by Scott James in the New York Times. ‘A Canadian study of homosexual men who had been in committed relationships lasting longer than one year found that only 25 percent of those interviewed reported being monogamous. According to study author Barry Adam, “Gay culture allows men to explore different…forms of relationships besides the monogamy coveted by heterosexuals.”‘

This could explain why civil unions and gay marriages are so unpopular amongst homosexuals. FRC found that a mere 21% of homosexual men and women registered themselves as civil partners in the state of Vermont, compared to 52% of the population in married couple households. Despite a clamour for its introduction and fanfares accompanying civil partnership legislation in Sweden and same-sex ‘marriage’ in the Netherlands , only 2% of Swedish homosexuals and just under 3% of their Dutch counterparts registered after a year.

FRC based their figures on an assumption that 2.5% of the adult male population and 1.4% of the female are homosexual. Compared to the British National Surveys of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles funded by the Wellcome Trust, such a percentage seems quite generous, but choosing a high percentage has the effect of making the percentage of homosexuals going into civil partnerships even more embarrassing.

ONLY FOUR PERCENT OF HOMOSEXUALS IN CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS
In Britain , according to the Office for National Statistics, 33,956 civil partnerships have been registered since the Civil Partnership Act came into force in December 2005. Slightly more males than females registered, so lesbians were rather keener on the idea. But the adult population (sixteen and over) of the UK was around 41,530,000 in 2001.

Using the FRC assumption, there would be just over a million gays (shorthand for ‘homosexual men’) and just under 600,000 lesbians in the UK . Those figures mean that only 4.2% of homosexuals have registered for the civil partnerships that we were told they were crying out for. The numbers, say the NSO on their website, ‘continue to fall.’

By way of contrast, the Office for National Statistics says that 51% of the adult population are married or remarried, with a further 8% widowed and 10% separated or divorced. So marriage is or has been chosen by 70% of the heterosexual population. (Our figures for civil partnerships do not subtract the numbers dissolving their partnerships.)

‘TRANSFORM THE INSTITUTION’
Some same-sex marriage advocates, who accept the rampant promiscuity and infidelity amongst homosexuals are unabashed in their claim that giving gays the same privilege would ‘transform the institution’. New York University professor Judith Stacey, testifying before Congress against the Defense of Marriage Act, said changing the law to allow same-sex partners to marry would help “supplant the destructive sanctity of the family” and help it assume “varied, creative, and adaptive contours,” including “small group marriages.” One Michelangelo Signorile wrote that gays should “demand the right to marry not as a way of adhering to society’s moral codes but rather to debunk a myth and radically alter an archaic institution.”

Others pressing for same-sex marriage hoped that heterosexual marital norms of monogamy and fidelity would be transferred to same-sex unions. But given the internal drive to find new sexual conquests, and the relentless dissatisfaction with the current partner, that hope appears vain.

As psychologist Dr David Reuben said pointedly, homosexuals are ‘trying the impossible; trying to solve the puzzle with only half the pieces.’

DON’T LAUGH AT THE GAYS – OPPOSE THEM!
The enactment in the Western world of civil partnerships and the minuscule take-up by gays and lesbians has reinforced Reuben’s view, while the radical idea to transform marriage into a less-than faithful institution is doomed to failure. But that does not alter the fact that every homosexual civil union, let alone gay marriage, cheapens every real marriage. Laughing at ‘the gays’ and their futile attempts to ape heterosexuality – even at their efforts to redefine marriage – is not enough. Decent people must oppose their whole agenda.

Not Nice At All

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has joined the sex education lobby by proposing that sex education should start in primary school.

A consultation document issued by NICE says: ‘NICE recommends that children from primary school age upwards are given sex and relationships education that is appropriate to the maturity of the pupils, sensitive to diverse cultural, faith and family perspectives, and based on an understanding of their needs.’

DIRECTOR AT ODDS WITH GUIDANCE

But in an interview on BBC Radio Northampton, the Director of Public Health at NICE, Professor Mike Kelly, who was also director of the guidance project, backed away from the suggestion that Primary School was the right place to start, saying that sex education should only start in secondary school.

It should only start ‘When a child reaches maturity,’ he said. Primary school would be the place for exploring relationships, which he said meant ‘friends, brothers and sisters, mother, father, neighbours.’ Biology would be taught in the ‘later part of the primary school curriculum’, but ‘dealing with the sexual behaviour proper would be something that takes place in secondary school.’

However, the NICE draft guidance clearly states: ‘Ensure education about sex and relationships and alcohol starts in primary school.’ (p10). One member of the panel which drew up the guidance was Simon Blake, Chief Executive of Brook Advisory, which has been trying to get sex education to start as early as five, and works to prise children away from parents.

But Professor Kelly was ‘saying the opposite’ to that the school should take over from parents. Sex education, said Professor Kelly, ‘should be done in partnership between schools and parents and that is something our guidance clearly states’.

PARENTS NEED PROPAGANDA

The trouble is, it doesn’t. We read that ‘nurses in schools and colleges … should conform to health service consent and confidentiality guidance,’ in other words, fix children up with contraceptives and abortions behind their parents’ backs, but there is nothing about a ‘partnership’ between teachers and parents in the NICE draft guidance at all. Professor Kelly was not telling listeners the truth.

Instead, there is a lot of advice to teachers about filling parents with liberal propaganda: For example: ‘Explain to parents’ that sex and relationships education is really good, ‘Parents should be aware’ that abstinence education is useless, ‘Reassure parents that sex and relationships education does not promote early sex’, ‘Offer parents the opportunity’ to help their children develop ‘negotiation skills’, and so on (pp8-9). There is no defence or reference for any of these statements, of course. They are liberal dogma, articles of faith in the morality-free zone of sex and relationships education.

Professor Kelly spoke about the ‘skill-based approach’ in the document which ‘is about how to say no – if that is appropriate’. The idea of giving children ‘skills’ so they can ‘negotiate’ is something borrowed straight out of the homosexual world, where negotiating what sort of sex should take place with a complete stranger picked up in a bar may be, literally, vitally important.

CHALLENGE FAITH-BASED ‘PREJUDICE’

Faith is mentioned eleven times, ‘belief’ four and the word ‘cultural’ is used on nine occasions. But mere lip service is being paid. Those planning PSHE should ‘promote sensitivity to diverse faith and cultural beliefs’, for example about ‘sexual orientation and abortion.’ So these beliefs should be respected then?

Absolutely not. ‘Discrimination and prejudice should be discussed and challenged,’ the draft guidance proclaims (p12).

Professor Kelly said he ‘has evidence that if done well, if done properly, sex education can reduce teenage pregnancies.’ It must have been done really badly over the last forty years, in that case, to leave our teenage pregnancy rate as one of the highest in Western Europe . In fact, the evidence Professor Kelly claims does not actually exist.

FANTASY WORLD

An indication of the fantasy world of NICE and the sex education industry may be found on page 17 of the draft guidance. Those involved in the planning and teaching of PSHE should ‘Set clear health goals – for example, to prevent sexually transmitted infections (STI’s)’. The ‘specific behaviour’ children should engage in to ‘achieve’ this goal is ‘using condoms and reducing the number of sexual partners to prevent STI’s.’

The American Centre for Disease Control (CDC) says that condom use only ‘reduces the risk’ of contracting a range of STI’s, it does not eliminate it. ‘Epidemiologic studies that compare infection rates among condom users and nonusers provide evidence that latex condoms provide limited protection against syphilis and herpes simplex virus-2 transmission,’ says the CDC website. So the advice given, to wear a condom and reduce (to what level?) the number of partners is not in accord with the evidence or with scripture.

STATUS

A interesting conflict is also emerging between NICE, and its bosses in the Department of Health, and the Department for Children Schools and Families. Schools do not come under the DoH, and therefore the DoH and its quangos do not have any say in what goes on. However, Primary Care Trusts do come under the DoH and their employees are regularly to be found in schools in England .

It is the DfCS&F which issues guidance to schools, and yet the DoH asked NICE ‘to develop guidance on a public health programme aimed at promoting school, college and community-based personal, social and health education, including health literacy, with particular reference to sexual health behaviour and alcohol.’

Normal Wells, of the lobby group Family and Youth Concern, told Christian Voice that he asked NICE what relation their guidance has to the official Statutory Guidance issued by the DfCS&F. They were unaware there was such guidance. So he rang the DoH and asked the same question. The DoH people refused to put him through to anyone in authority.

Finally, Mr Wells rang the DfCS&F. They said sniffily that ‘the only guidance that schools are legally bound to have regard to is the Sex and Relationships Guidance July 2000.’

However, Section 4.1.1 of the published scope of the NICE guidance says it should apply not just to schools and colleges, which are DFCS&F territory, but to ‘education other than at school, including home education’. What status would such guidance have amongst home educators, and how would it be disseminated?

Or is the whole exercise just an excuse for the ‘usual suspects’ in sex education, from the ‘Sex Education Forum, the FPA, Brook and so on, to serve on yet another committee and produce yet more guidance pushing the boundaries of acceptability out just a little more, and to which they would then refer when perhaps trying to influence public policy?

REPRESENTATIONS

There is much more in the 74-page NICE draft guidance which needs to be analysed and addressed. The deadline for representations is 15th July.

No Christian Compassion from Dr. Martin

1

A leading Christian lobby group has scorned the claim by Dr Howard Martin that he was exercising ‘Christian compassion’ when he administered lethal injections to hasten the death of patients.

Stephen Green, National Director of Christian Voice, said:

‘Dr Martin was not exercising any form of compassion when he autocratically decided some of his patients were better off dead. Human life is not to be reckoned alongside that of a dog which we might ‘put down’. Such arrogance was taking upon himself the role of the Almighty, who alone should decide the time of our death. Dr Martin came to the point where he thought he could play God, and he has rightly been struck off the medical register with damning comments from the GMC panel.

‘As to falsely telling the family of Harry Gittins that his cancer had spread when he held no evidence that it had, well, if lying to a patient’s family is Christian compassion, the Ninth Commandment needs to be re-written.

‘I now call upon the police to re-open the case of murder against Dr Martin for the death of Harry Gittins and bring this arrogant and self-deluded old man, a disgrace to both his profession and to the Christian faith, to justice.’

NICE Draft Guidance on SRE & Alcohol

Response from stakeholder Christian Voice

Christian Voice is a Christian prayer and lobby group.  We represent a mainly Evangelical Christian constituency.  We take issue with the Draft Guidance for the following reasons:

1 No doubt sex, relationships and alcohol education in schools and colleges can be improved as the Guidance and accompanying Press Release state, but the composition of the NICE Programme Development Group which drew up the guidance was overwhelmingly from the sex education industry.  For example, Simon Blake, Chief Executive of the child-sex lobby group Brook, was on it.  There were also representatives from Stonewall, the Sex Education Forum and the Family Planning Association.  What such people mean by ‘improved’ is more explicit sex education at an ever-younger age with more distribution of condoms coupled with the promotion of homosexuality.  That is abusive, not done with the best interests of children in mind and is not what parents or children say they want.

2 The Guidance claims its scope is ‘mainly aimed at, school and college governors, school heads and teachers, college principals, lecturers and tutors, commissioners and managers in children’s trusts and children’s services, local authorities and primary care trusts.’  However, NICE does not have responsibility for the majority of those groups.   The NICE Draft Guidance fails to say what relation it has to the Statutory Guidance issued in 2000 by the Department for Education, now the Department for Children, Schools and Families.  The DfCS&F have said that ‘the only guidance that schools are legally bound to have regard to is the Sex and Relationships Guidance July 2000.’

3 NICE reports to the Department of Health, and Schools do not come under the DoH, and therefore the DoH and its quangos do not have any say in what goes on in schools.  However, Primary Care Trusts do come under the DoH and their employees are regularly to be found in schools in England .  In short, we oppose the NICE Guidance being applicable to Schools and thus being in conflict with the DFCS&F.

4 Section 4.1.1 of the published scope of the NICE guidance says it should apply not just to schools and colleges, which are DFCS&F territory, and not under the DoH at all, but to ‘education other than at school, including home education’.  What status would such guidance have amongst home educators, and how would it be disseminated?  We oppose NICE Guidance being applicable to Home Educating Parents and their children on the grounds that such is not the business of the DoH..

5 We disagree with the NICE assumption that education whether ‘high‑quality’ or not about sex, relationships and alcohol helps children make ‘responsible decisions and acquire the skills and confidence to delay sex until they are ready’.  We disagree that ‘evidence demonstrates that this type of education delivered as part of a planned and timetabled programme by trained and confident teachers helps children and young people better understand their own physical and emotional development’. We know of no research or evidence that any form of sex, relationships and alcohol education helps children to be healthier and we note that NICE has not cited any.  Indeed, on pages 32-33 and 71-72 of the Draft Guidance, the limitatiions of the existing evidence are admitted.  Studies were mostly from the USA , provided ‘little infoprmation about teaching methods’, ‘lacked detail about comparators,’ ‘tended to be based on theory’, and had ‘insufficient high quality data’.  The Programme Development Group members were thrown back on their own opinions and prejudices, which the Guidance descrtibes as ‘their experience.’  (p32)

6 Over the last twenty years, as more and more explicit sex education has been given, emphasising a reliance on condoms as supposed protection against sexually transmitted diseases, sexually transmitted diseases have increased dramatically, with as many as 10% of young people having been infected with Chlamydia, which causes infertility.  That is illustrative that the decline in the sexual health of children correlates strongly with explicit sex education and/or with the distribution of condoms among the young.

7 The Biblical witness is that parents have a God-given responsibility for their children’s education, and nowhere is this mandate stronger than in the field of personal, including sexual morality. The Bible says:

And thou shalt teach (these words) diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. (Deuteronomy. 6:7)

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4)

Furthermore, the Lord Jesus Himself said: ‘It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!  It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend (that is, to cause to stumble) one of these little ones.’  (Luke 17:2)

8 We believe sex, relationships and alcohol education should targeted higher than merely giving young people ‘skills and confidence’.  It should also emphasise the Christian morality upon which our nation was built.  In terms of personal relationships, that begins with the words of Christ, recalling the Book of Genesis: ‘But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.’ (Mark 10:8)

The Biblical witness is for chastity amongst the unmarried and fidelity in marriage.  It can be argued that it is the job of the State to support these ideals, for their own sake, out of our Christian heritage, and because the alternatives have a negative impact on the national finances.

9 We disagree with the NICE recommendation ‘that children from primary school age upwards are given sex and relationships education’.  We regard that as grooming these children for sex, a violation of their innocence and child sexual abuse.

10 We disagree that it is the place of any school to promote perversion whether under the banner of ‘tolerance, inclusion and diversity’ or at all.

11 We disagree that sex and relationships education ‘should start in primary school’.  Furthermore, in an interview on BBC Radio Northampton, the Director of Public Health at NICE, Professor Mike Kelly, who was also director of the guidance project, backed away from the suggestion that Primary School was the right place to start, saying that sex education should only start in secondary school.  It should only start ‘When a child reaches maturity,’ he said.  Primary school would be the place for exploring relationships, which he said meant ‘friends, brothers and sisters, mother, father, neighbours.’  Biology would be taught in the ‘later part of the primary school curriculum’, but ‘dealing with the sexual behaviour proper would be something that takes place in secondary school.’  However, the NICE draft guidance clearly states: ‘Ensure education about sex and relationships and alcohol starts in primary school.’ (p10) and the Press Release said ‘Ensure education about sex and relationships and alcohol starts in primary school.’

12 We disagree that parents are there to be ‘reassured’ ‘that sex and relationships education does not promote early sex, increase rates of sexual activity or increase the likelihood of sexual experimentation.’  There is no evidence to support such a statement and evidence is now growing that talking about such subjects and distributing condoms advances the onset of sexual activity in children to whom it might not have occurred.  In other words, parents are right to view such education as irresponsible.

13 We disagree with Gillian Leng, NICE Deputy Chief Executive, who said: ‘We know a planned PSHE education programme which progresses throughout a child’s time in education helps them understand the importance of valuing and having respect for others. It can also give them the ability to make sense of the world around them and make responsible decisions.’  We note that NICE has advanced no evidence to support this opinion and we say that NICE devalues its own currency when its personnel make prejudiced and opinionated statements which masquerade as fact and which are unsupported by evidence.

14 On the Radio Programme cited, Professor Kelly said he was ‘saying the opposite’ to that ‘the school should take over from parents’.  ‘Sex education’, said Professor Kelly, ‘should be done in partnership between schools and parents and that is something our guidance clearly states’.

The Guidance does not say what the Professor claimed.

15 We disagree that teachers should fill parents with liberal propaganda: For example: ‘Explain to parents’ that sex and relationships education is really good, ‘Parents should be aware’ that abstinence education is useless, ‘Reassure parents that sex and relationships education does not promote early sex’, ‘Offer parents the opportunity’ to help their children develop ‘negotiation skills’, and so on (pp8-9).  There is no defence or reference for any of these statements, of course.  They are liberal dogma, articles of faith in the morality-free zone of sex and relationships education.  NICE devalues itself by repeating them.

16 Professor Kelly spoke about the ‘skill-based approach’ in the Guidance which ‘is about how to say no – if that is appropriate’.  The idea of giving children ‘skills’ so they can ‘negotiate’ is something borrowed straight out of the homosexual world, where negotiating what sort of sex should take place with a complete stranger picked up in a bar may be, literally, vitally important.

17 Faith is mentioned in the Guidance eleven times, ‘belief’ four and the word ‘cultural’ is used on nine occasions. But mere lip service is being paid.  Those planning PSHE should ‘promote sensitivity to diverse faith and cultural beliefs’, it says, for example about ‘sexual orientation and abortion.’  However, the Guidance does not say these beliefs should be respected.

Instead, ‘Discrimination and prejudice should be discussed and challenged,’ the draft guidance proclaims (p12).  As diverse faith and cultural beliefs are to be found mainly in people of non-white-European heritage, this statement in the NICE Guidance is racist.  It is also culturally imperialistic to want to force decadent Western attitudes on people of different descent.  Christian Voice has many black African/Caribbean and Asian members who strongly demand their cultural diversity be respected, not patronised in the racist and discriminatory way the NICE Guidance proposes.

18 Professor Kelly said he ‘has evidence that if done well, if done properly, sex education can reduce teenage pregnancies.’  We challenge him to produce this evidence and debate it.  To take him at his word, sex education must have been done really badly over the last forty years to leave our teenage pregnancy rate as one of the highest in Western Europe . Are we expected to entrust the same people who delivered it then to force it on a fresh generation of vulnerable children?

19 On page 17 of the draft guidance, it states: Those involved in the planning and teaching of PSHE should ‘Set clear health goals – for example, to prevent sexually transmitted infections (STI’s)’.  The ‘specific behaviour’ children should engage in to ‘achieve’ this goal is ‘using condoms and reducing the number of sexual partners to prevent STI’s.’  The Guidance fails to say what reduction in numbers of sexual partners will achieve the goal of preventing sexually transmitted infections   Does 20 a month achieve the goal?  Or 10?  Or 5?  Two perhaps?  The Guidance does not say ‘reduce sexually transmitted infections’, it clearly says ‘prevent sexually transmitted infections’. But no matter how many condoms are used, someone is living in a fantasy world if he thinks merely ‘reducing the number of sexual partners’ will achieve such a goal.  In fact the goal is achieved by chastity (staying a virgin until marriage) and fidelity (keeping to one partner in marriage).

20  The American Centre for Disease Control (CDC) says that condom use only ‘reduces the risk’ of contracting a range of STI’s, it does not eliminate it. ‘Epidemiologic studies that compare infection rates among condom users and nonusers provide evidence that latex condoms provide limited protection against syphilis and herpes simplex virus‑2 transmission,’ says the CDC website.  So the advice given, to wear a condom and reduce (to what level?) the number of partners is not in accord with the evidence.  Such advice falls far short of the clinical excellence to which NICE strives.

21 A clear majority of fifteen and even sixteen-year-olds are still virgins.  A compassionate and responsible sociaty would help and support them along that path.  It is of concern that certain adults are rather too keen that children should be fornicating.  Some may be driven by the money to be made in the contraceptive and abortion industries, but others must derive some vicarious pleasure from the thought of children engaging in sexual activity.  Either way, they are misleading and failing the young.

22 Because the NICE Guidance leans so heavily to a highly-prejudiced view in which children are there to be sexualised, and because it is in conflict with the 2000 DfE Statutory Guidance, we say it should be withdrawn completely.

The Westminster Declaration

http://www.westminster2010.org.uk/declaration/

The was much said about the Westminster Declaration in Christian circles during the election. It attracted over 60,000 signatures, but drew fire from Protestant circles by being ecumenical. Leading signatories were Lord Carey (Former Archbishop of Canterbury ), Cardinal O’Brien (Catholic Church in Scotland ), Michael Nazir-Ali (Former Bishop of Rochester ), Steve Clifford (General Director, Evangelical Alliance) and Lyndon Bowring (Executive Chairman, CARE).

This is what it said:

THE DECLARATION
Protecting human life, protecting marriage, and protecting freedom of conscience are foundational for creating and maintaining strong families, caring communities and a just society. Our Christian faith compels us to speak and act in defence of all these.

OUR BELIEFS AND VALUES
As Christians we reaffirm historic belief in God the Father (who created us and gave us the blueprint for our lives together); in God the Son Jesus Christ our Saviour (accepting his incarnation, teaching, claims, miracles, death, resurrection and return in judgment); and in God the Holy Spirit (who lives within us, guides us and gives us strength). We commit ourselves to worship, honour and obey God.

As UK citizens we affirm our Christian commitment both to exercise social responsibility in working for the common good and also to be subject to all governing authorities and obey them except when they require us to act unjustly.

HUMAN LIFE
We believe that being made in the image of God, all human life has intrinsic and equal dignity and worth and that it is the duty of the state to protect the vulnerable. We will support, protect, and be advocates for such people û including children born and unborn, and all those who are sick, disabled, addicted, elderly, in single parent families, poor, exploited, trafficked, appropriately seeking asylum, threatened by environmental change, or exploited by unjust trade, aid or debt policies. We pledge to work to protect the life of every human being from conception to its natural end and we refuse to comply with any directive that compels us to participate in or facilitate abortion, embryo-destructive research, assisted suicide, euthanasia, or any other act that involves intentionally taking innocent human life. We will support those who take the same stand.

MARRIAGE
We pledge to support marriage û the lifelong covenantal union of one man and one woman as husband and wife. We believe it is divinely ordained, the only context for sexual intercourse, and the most important unit for sustaining the health, education, and welfare of all. We call on government to honour, promote and protect marriage and we refuse to submit to any edict forcing us to equate any other form of sexual partnership with marriage. We commit ourselves to continue affirming what we believe as Christians about sexual morality, marriage, and the family.

CONSCIENCE
We count it a special privilege to live in a democratic society where all citizens have the right to participate in the political process. We pledge to do what we can to ensure our laws are just and fair, particularly in protecting vulnerable people. We will seek to ensure that religious liberty and freedom of conscience are unequivocally protected against interference by the state and other threats, not only to individuals but also to institutions including families, charities, schools and religious communities. We will not be intimidated by any cultural or political power into silence or acquiescence and we will reject measures that seek to over-rule our Christian consciences or to restrict our freedoms to express Christian beliefs, or to worship and obey God.

COMMITMENT
We call upon all those in UK positions of leadership, responsibility and influence to pledge to respect, uphold and protect the right of Christians to hold these beliefs and to act according to Christian conscience.

CANDIDATES HAD WESTMINSTER-LITE
General Election candidates were sent a slimmed-down version of the Declaration, isolating Christian liberties. Most Christian lobby groups working in Parliament have now retreated into defending this last piece of land as the tide of unrighteousness has flooded in.

The Westminster 2010 organisers say: ‘We did not ask candidates to sign the Westminster declaration itself, but only to make the pledge to “respect, uphold and protect the right of Christians to hold and express Christian beliefs and act according to Christian conscience”. ‘

Their website lists those candidates who made that pledge. Christian Voice has extracted the successful candidates who signed, and also those who refused. It is shocking that so few MP’s – just 57 – could bring themselves to promise to maintain Christian liberties, and that 16 – real enemies of the Gospel – went out of their way to refuse to sign.

THERESA MAY WILL NOT SUPPORT CHRISTIANS
One MP who did not sign the Westminster2010 Pledge was the new Home Secretary, Theresa May. Amongst her constituents are Mike and Susanne Wilkinson, who are now threatened with legal action by a pair of homosexuals who were turned away from their guest house in Cookham. We understand that Theresa May sent them a letter telling them that as they broke the law (the Sexual Orientation Regulations 2007), they must face the consequencies.

In a move reminiscient of the Vicar of Bray, who had a living a few miles downstream of Cookham on the River Thames, after voting against sodomy at 16, voting against adoption by gays, abstaining on the Sexual Orientation Regulations and voting for freedom of speech to criticise sodomy, she has refused to support her constituents. She will not even argue for a change in the law to protect Christian conscience.

PRAY: For Mike and Susanne Wilkinson. May they use every weapon the good Lord sends in resisting the claim against them. May they expose Theresa May for the opportunistic turn-coat she is. May they build a Christian alliance in Maidenhead for the whole Gospel.

Death Squad for Hire

1

For the first time, an abortionist has advertised its services on British television. As we went to press, a a thirty second advertisement by Marie Stopes entitled ‘Are you late?’ was scheduled to broadcast on Channel 4 on Monday 24th May just after 10.00pm.

The advertisement is the first of a series planned to run until the end of June. Its target audience is women whose period is late because they have conceived a baby following sexual intercourse. It advises them to call an 0845 number, the Marie Stopes telephone ‘helpline’. The only ‘help’ on offer will be hands ready, at a price, to tear limb from limb the innocent baby growing in the mother’s womb. The bereaved mother will be left with the knowledge that she has killed her child, and without repentance and forgiveness through the saving merits of the Lord Jesus Christ, she will carry that psychological burden until the day of her own death.

Most abortions in Great Britain are carried out from a gestational age of 8 to 13 weeks on what have been the first-born. A picture shows a baby at the gestational age of 8 weeks. The baby is recognisably human, with a head, a brain which reacts to stimuli such as pain, legs and arms, toes and fingers. The baby’s heart, like ours, was beating 3 weeks after conception and will not stop until the day you die.

Channel 4 is advertising the killing of a living, sentient human being. Marie Stopes is the world’s second biggest abortion provider, and claims to be responsible for one third of the almost 600 children murdered in their mothers’ wombs every single day in our land, 6 million in total since 1968, when the abortion Act came into force. Although designated a charity, Marie Stopes’ staff are well paid and have a vested interest in providing death by abortion. That is, after all, how they earn their daily bread.

The Bible says God hates the hands that shed innocent blood and that blood defiles the land. Abortion is our modern form of human sacrifice, and Satan derives power from it, especially from the blood of the first-born. But it brings judgment on us all. The judgment falls as a view that human life is expendable. We see it on the streets. It comes home to the families of youths killed for a mobile phone or a ‘disrespectful’ look. How much more will the judgment of God fall on those who are complicit in the murder of their fellow human beings.

READ: Gen 4:10, 9:6,12,13; Numb 35:30-33; Psalm 106:37-38; Prov 6:16-17; Jer 32:35; Micah 6:7-8; Matt 9:2; Mark 3:28; Rev 7:13-17.

PRAY: That the advertisements are stopped. Pray that discussion of abortion will bring across the humanity of the child in the womb.

You Thought Idaho was an American State

1

Most people, when asked what ‘ IDAHO ‘ is, would reply that it is a North-Western State of the United States of America .

But in the rarified world of homosexual activism, it stands for ‘International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia’ and it occurs each year on 17th May.

No European or UK politician can afford to ignore ‘ IDAHO ‘. The New Lib-Con Home Secretary Theresa May (Maidenhead – Conservative) released a message in support of ‘ IDAHO ‘. Following criticism by gay lobbyists for voting against adoption by homosexuals, she promised the new government would tackle ‘homophobic bullying’ and put pressure on countries with anti-sodomy laws to ‘improve their treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people’.

Mrs May said: ‘This government is committed to creating a society that is fair for everyone and supports equal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people.

‘This means supporting civil partnerships, tackling homophobic bullying wherever it occurs, changing the law regarding historic convictions for consensual gay sex and using our international influence to put pressure on countries where LGB&T people are persecuted.’

New Foreign Office Minister for Europe David Lidington (Con – Aylesbury) also released a message to mark ‘ IDAHO ‘. He said the Foreign Office was ‘committed to promoting British values abroad, including LGBT rights.’

His message said: ‘The UK has a long and proud history of defending the basic rights and freedoms of the oppressed and vulnerable. We are committed to promoting British values overseas and to placing human rights at the heart of foreign policy.

‘Everyone, including gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people should be free to enjoy the rights and freedoms to which people of all nations are entitled.’

‘ IDAHO ‘ is held every year on May 17th because on this date in 1990 the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from its list of mental illnesses, not in response to scientific truth, just as a result of political pressure.

On last year’s IDAHO , the French government announced it would become the first country in the world to declassify transgenderism as a mental illness. The change came into effect in February. How much worse can it get?

A lot worse.

IN THE EUROBUNKER
In Europe , leaders of all three EU institutions addressed ‘homophobia’ for the first time.

Herman van Rompuy, President of the European Council, the EU institution representing 27 national governments, issued a written statement affirming the EU’s commitment to refuse discrimination on any grounds, and affirming that ‘discrimination on the basis of gender and sexual orientation has ceased to constitute a political cleavage, and is enshrined in the EU’s founding act and statement of values.’

Jerzy Buzek, President of the European Parliament, reaffirmed the commitment of the European Parliament to combat any form of discrimination, including homophobia, in a video message. The President of the European Parliament declared: ‘Homophobia is a clear breach of human dignity that questions fundamental rights; and thus, it must be strongly condemned.’

Viviane Reding, Vice-president of the European Commission and Commissioner for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, also issued a statement condemning homophobia and transphobia as ‘a blatant violation of human dignity’, ‘incompatible with the principles on which the EU is founded’. She went on to threaten nations throughout the world with the direst sanctions should they maintain ‘homophobic’ policies.

OUR PHILLIPA ‘BELIEVES IN GAY EQUALITY’

No party candidate can escape the vigilance of the gay mafia. Phillipa Stroud stood for the Conservatives in Sutton and Cheam. She is the wife of David Stroud, the leader of ChristChurch , London , and of the New Frontiers UK group of churches.

The Sunday before the election, the Observer newspaper ran an article accusing Mrs Stroud of founding a church and night shelter in Bedford, the King’s Arms Project, which tried to ‘cure’ homosexuals by driving out their demons through prayer.

Mrs Stroud immediately issued a statement saying: ‘The idea that I am prejudiced against gay people is both false and insulting.

‘I make no apology for being a committed Christian. However it is categorically untrue that I believe homosexuality to be an illness and I am deeply offended that the Observer has suggested otherwise.’

When PinkNews.co.uk pointed out to her spokesman that the Observer’s prime claim was not that she believed homosexuality to be an illness, rather that she appeared to believe it could be overcome through prayer and removing ‘demons’, he said: ‘We will not be adding to or subtracting to the statement.’ [Sic]

David Cameron chipped in, denying that Mrs Stroud was ‘homophobic’. He said: ‘She believes in gay equality.’ He added that Mrs Stroud had made “a very clear statement to say she was completely misreported”.

Jonathan Bartley, head of Ekklesia, a limited company with just four members which masquerades as a Christian ‘think-tank’, ventured that it was of even more concern that the New Frontiers church believes that a husband has God-given authority over his wife. This view ‘runs incredibly deep in the church’, wrote a deeply-worried and traumatised Bartley. Shock! Horror! A church actually believes the Bible! Where will it end?

Mrs Stroud, head of Iain Duncan-Smith’s Centre for Social Justice, lost Sutton and Cheam by a few hundred votes. She has now been appointed a special advisor at the Department for Work and Pensions, whose Secretary of State is Iain Duncan-Smith, MP.

Islamic Park Looms Over Welsh Valleys

1

The BBC reported that a Halal industrial park has been proposed for south Wales .  The industrial park would be for Islamic goods and produce, and could mean about 3,000 jobs.

The proposed £150m Super Halal Industrial Park (SHIP) was revealed at an Islamic finance summit in London .  The National Assembly of Wales government said they were “tentative proposals” and it would work closely with the firm, Halal Industries.

Mahesh Jayanarayan, chairman of Halal Industries, said Wales was chosen as the project’s site for its meat industries and affordable land prices.  He was raising funds for the venture in the capital markets, through government grants, and by finding partners like supermarket chains and multinational food manufacturers to “cement the deal”.The project could launch in three to five years in the Rhondda Valley and would provide services like storage freezers, a product packing centre, and raw material storage for manufacturers for food production. Meat selection and processing as well as research and development would also be offered.

Mr Jayanarayan told the Reuters Islamic Banking and Finance Summit that Europe has no Halal industrial parks, despite being home to millions of Muslims.

The industrial park could create up to 3,000 jobs and would make the UK a landmark Halal centre for the region, Mr Jayanarayan told the finance summit.

“If you look at some figures, the halal sector in the UK is worth between £2bn to £4bn, the majority of that is imported.  You have 2.5 billion people on the planet eating halal food, directly or indirectly,” he told the summit.

“You have to start somewhere. Most of the industrial park developers in this country will see the opportunity in this sector, and they themselves with start to develop,” he said.

But then businessman admitted: “We would prefer to go to places like Bosnia , where there’s a large Muslim population and economically deprived areas where we could seek EU grants.”

A Welsh Assembly Government spokesperson said: “We are aware the company has expressed an interest in investing in Wales and have met with them to hear their proposals.

“However, these are clearly tentative proposals at their very early stages of development.  As ever, the assembly government will work closely with any company that wishes to invest in Wales ,” added the spokesperson.

Halal is an Arabic term meaning “permissible” and while it is often associated with meat, it refers to anything that is allowed in the Islamic faith.  It is the opposite of ‘Haram’, ‘not lawful’.

If food were to be prepared by a non-Muslim it would become Haram.  Therefore, although the Halal Industrial Park promises 3,000 jobs, these are 3,000 jobs for Muslims, not for the whole community in the Rhondda .

Close on the heels of the Halal Industrial Park , or even as part of it, would be a towering mosque for the 3,000 employees to attend.  What is being proposed is a cultural take-over of the Rhondda Valley .

PRAY: That Rhondda Cynon Taf Council will state that it will refuse to allow the Halal Park to be situated in the County Borough.  Pray that the Welsh Assembly will not be taken in by the promise of 3,000 jobs and will realise these are not jobs for the majority Christian unemployed of South Wales , but jobs for Muslims only.  Let Mr Jayanarayan go to Bosnia instead.

Cameron ‘Hypocrite’ Over Church Schools

A leading Christian lobby group has accused Conservative leader David Cameron of hypocrisy over his support for Church Schools and Christian charities.

In a video posted on YouTube by the Conservative Christian Fellowship, which exists to promote the Conservative Party amongst the faithful, Cameron says he is ‘amazed’ at just how much Church is doing in social work. ‘Wherever there is a need you are there,’ he gushes. Christians are ‘caring for the vulnerable, helping to build a strong society.’ The Church’s values, according to Cameron, lie at the heart of the Britain he wants to see. He wants a thriving voluntary sector and to give charities stability, treating faith-based charities well. ‘I want them to go on doing what they do,’ says Cameron.

This is the same David Cameron who voted for the Sexual Orientation Regulations in 2007, which disrupted church-based adoption charities, forcing almost all of them to close rather than place vulnerable children with homosexuals.

Cameron goes on to laud faith schools. ‘Good schools with high standards of discipline are vital,’ he says. There are some excellent faith schools and we learn he chose one for his daughter. But the same man who says he values their work and wants a new generation of academies told a homosexual audience in an interview for ‘Attitude’ magazine in January that he wants to force faith schools to jettison their values and teach that sodomy is as normal and natural as heterosexuality.

Earlier this month the Conservatives boasted of how many ‘gay’ candidates they would be fielding at the election, including current front-bencher Alan Duncan, who once joked that he would kill someone who defended the Christian view that marriage is between one man and one woman, and members of the Cameron inner circle.

In February, his spokesman Michael Gove told Andrew Marr and millions of BBC radio listeners that he would not tolerate schools which allowed into the classroom the view that the universe was created.

“To my mind you cannot have a school which teaches creationism” he said. “And one thing that we will make absolutely clear is that you can not have schools that are set up which teach people things which are clearly at variance with what we know to be scientific fact.”

Finally, David Cameron says in his video that ‘strong relationships’ are vital for society and that it is wrong that ‘couples are rewarded for splitting up’. He would ‘recognise marriage in the tax system’. Does that mean that the man who voted for Civil Partnerships in 2004 will reward those counterfeits of marriage as well?

Stephen Green, National Director of Christian Voice, said:

‘David Cameron needs to recognise that Christian social work arises from the Gospel. Our values are Gospel values. We feed the hungry at our Saviour’s command. And the same Saviour is also King of kings. His laws value holiness, chastity, fidelity, honesty and respect for God and man. These values are absent from those of the homosexuals whose vote he is also trying to court.

‘If faith-based schools are not to be allowed to point out the problems with evolutionary theory and the questions it cannot answer, such as how birds evolved nest-building, and how birds survived before they got it right, then is he intending to preside over a totalitarian government that bans scientific debate?

‘And if Christians are to be forced to toe the secularist pro-gay, pro-fornication line in sex education classes, then where does religious freedom lie in the Cameron order of priorities?

‘David Cameron is trying simultaneously to run with the hare of Christianity and hunt with the hounds of secularism. The man who voted on 6th May 2008 to allow wicked men to insult Jesus Christ wants Christians to fall in with his secularist ideas before they receive funding and he wants the failed tenets of secularism to dominate what we can teach. Just like Gordon Brown and Nick Clegg, Cameron will take what he wants from the Christian Church, but trample underfoot our challenging vision of a society which honours God in the Lord Jesus Christ.

‘I hope and pray Christians will see through the hypocrisy of David Cameron and only vote for those Tory candidates who fear the Lord and repudiate the secularist, pro-gay views of their leader.’

Classic FM Drops ‘Not the Messiah’

0

Leading classical music radio station, Classic FM, have dropped all their promotion of Eric Idle’s ‘Not the Messiah’, in response to a deluge of complaints from Christian listeners.

It took a couple of hours this morning for Classic FM executives to realise they had made a terrible mistake in promoting it.

Faced with hundreds of distraught emails sent over the weekend, and bombarded with so many telephone calls they stopped taking them, managing director Darren Henley ditched ‘Not the Messiah’ quicker than you can say ‘Whose bright idea was that?’

The radio station, which attracts 5.5 million listeners, advertised a competition to win tickets to see a film of ‘Not the Messiah’ over the weekend. The competition was also advertised on the Classic FM website.

But listeners were not amused to find their radio station promoting a militant atheist production insulting Jesus Christ and doing violence to Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus in the run-up to Easter. By 10am on Monday morning the competition was over and all reference to ‘Not the Messiah’, including images from the show, had been removed from the website..

Stephen Green, National Director of Christian Voice, said today:

‘I congratulate Classic FM’s Managing Director Darren Henley on doing the right thing and ending all reference to this divisive and offensive event on the radio station and website.

‘I am also pleased that Christian Voice was able to play a small part in explaining to Mr Henley the offence caused by the station’s promotion of Eric Idle’s atheist rant.

‘The trailers for ‘Not the Messiah’ show that it is not particularly good and going to it will probably be an evening wasted. It seems to have been something of a vanity production for Idle, a bit like the young man who hires the Albert Hall so he can give a concert where he plays or sings less than convincingly.

‘Classic FM has a good reputation, particularly in the amount of Christian music it plays. In the run-up to Christmas it is a particular joy to listen to. But during the rest of the year, the influence of Christianity on music-making is inescapable.

‘We give all the praise to God for the change of heart at Classic FM and we hope and pray they will be more discerning in future.’

Classic FM Promoting ‘Not the Messiah’

0

Classic FM are promoting the showing of the blasphemous ‘Not the Messiah‘, on the Classic FM website and in trailers.  ‘Not the Messiah’ is by Monty Python’s Eric Idle.  It is being screened in cinemas this Thursday (25th).  It is a musical version of ‘The Life of Brian’ in which Brian gets mistaken for the real Messiah and is crucified.  Well-meaning people will urge us to see it all as not about Christ but about Brian and to see the funny side.

But the film sponges off the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ and this mock-oratorio parodies the glorious music of Handel’s masterwork.  It is even billed as ‘a spoof of Handel’s Messiah’.  It has the song from ‘Life of Brian’ which ‘Brian’ sang while hanging from the cross, ‘Always look on the bright side of life.’  Crucifixion is not funny.  It even has ‘Hail to the Shoe’ sung to the music of the Hallelujah Chorus.  That isn’t funny either.

While pretending ‘Not the Messiah’ is not blasphemous or offensive, Idle is well aware of what he is doing – mocking the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  According to Eric Idle: “There is no controversy .. it’s only people stupid enough to realise Christ is in the movie twice, and Christ isn’t Christ, so there’s no real controversy… It’s very simple – you either get it or you don’t.”

But Eric Idle is an avowed atheist and a supporter and reader of both Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens.  He has a song on Atheist Nexus: ‘F*** Christmas‘.  This is a man with an agenda and a big anti-Christ chip on his shoulder.  I think we get it.  He is out to mock religion and people of faith; and it’s a great pity that Classic FM has joined him, showing contempt for their Christian listeners.

It is worth taking a look at the LIBRETTO:  The show opens with the words: ‘The Book of Brian’.  It then mocks the Biblical apocalypse, which it calls ‘Apocalypso’, blasphemes the Christian doctrines of the awesomeness of God and depravity of man, refers to ‘The Evangelist Monty’ – and we are still only on page 3 of a 22-page libretto.  Instead of the shepherds glorifying God, they ask ‘is it AD yet?’ and sing about how much they love sheep. Take a look, and see if all you hold dear isn’t being dragged through the mud, vilified and ridiculed.

EMI pulled the funding of a 2007 DVD release of ‘The Life of Brian’ after the CEO read the script.  Classic FM should have kept well away from ‘Not the Messiah’ as well.

READ: Unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable and unto every good work reprobate.  (Titus 1:15-16).
Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud upon their beds.  Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand.  (Psalm 149:5-6)

PRAY: that Classic FM will pull all the trailers and the competition they are running for this event.  Pray that audiences will not turn up at the cinemas.  Pray that atheist Eric Idle will repent and turn to the Christ he is mocking.

I Promise Not to Vote Tory, Labour, Libdem, or BNP

Our good friends at Premier Radio are running a campaign ‘My Promise to Vote’. They urge listeners to complete a form to be sent to the Speaker and MPs. It says: ‘I promise to vote in the 2010 General Election using my Christian conscience to decide which party to support’.

The only problem is, by using that formula, voting along party lines, the Christ-centred believer rules out each one of the three main parties. To start with, each of them is fundamentally secularist and pro-gay. Atheist Nick Clegg, David Cameron with his pro-sodomy kitchen cabinet and the anti-family Gordon Brown have gone out of their way in the last three months to court the perverted vote. Clegg and Cameron were interviewed in turn for ‘Attitude’ magazine then Brown hosted a party at No10 for ‘Schools Out’. In the process, all three told decent people not to vote for them or their parties.

Next, each is pro-EU, favouring that bastion of Antichrist which refused to put God into its constitution and is now pressing hard Europe-wide for policies enforcing ‘equality and diversity’. Not one of the three main parties is pro-life, although individual members may be. And each is stupidly pro-Islam, not seeing that Islam is not just Antichrist, denying His divinity, His incarnation and His resurrection, but anti-secularist as well.

WHO WOULD JESUS HAVE IN HIS CABINET?

Outside England, Plaid Cymru in Wales are secularist in outlook, although individually many of their AM’s opposed blasphemy in the Welsh Assembly. The Scottish Nationalists have endorsed Islamist Osama Saeed as a candidate for Glasgow Central but are not nearly as pro-sodomy as their rivals. In Northern Ireland, the Ulster Unionists have allied themselves with the Conservatives, which makes them difficult for Christians to vote for. It is fair to say the Democratic Unionist Party, despite its recent problems, returns the highest number of God-fearing MP’s to Westminster of any political party, certainly in proportion to its size.

So what now? ‘Who would Jesus vote for?’ is often asked. ‘Who would the King of kings have in His cabinet?’ is the better question. The qualification is that rulers should be ‘able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness’ as we read in Exodus 18:21. That narrows it down considerably. If Christians were only to vote for men who displayed Exodus 18:21 qualities, men whom their Saviour and King would approve, men who could stand in His holy hill, we should be hard-pressed to find any suitable candidates, fewer still if their party allegiance defines them.

We are not saying there are not some really good, God-fearing Labour and Conservative MP’s and candidates, and even the odd righteous LibDem. But they have to renounce all the secularist immoral baggage of their respective party leaders before they can stand before Christians and ask for our vote.

A PARTY CHRISTIANS CAN SUPPORT? ER, NO.

One minor party is actively seeking the Christian vote. The British National Party has a leaflet out showing that all three main parties support the war in Afghanistan, abortion and teaching five-year-olds about homosexuality. It quotes scripture. It says that to support either Labour, the Conservatives or the Liberal Democrats is incompatible with Christianity. It observes we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ and give an account for our actions.

So far so good. Then it says ‘there is only one political party that Christians can support without betraying the Lord Jesus Christ.’ And which is that sole repository of righteousness? It’s the British National Party, apparently. A covering letter from one Jim Clift even tackles the charge of racism levelled against it. In February this year, ‘the BNP membership voted to allow non-white UK citizens to become members,’ he says. ‘This nailed and buried, once and for all, the lie that today’s BNP members are all racists.’

Well, firstly the BNP changed its rules only in the teeth of a pending injunction from the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Secondly, its members may not ‘all’ be racists, but a large proportion are, right to the top. The party may now be anti-Islam (they have noticed that Muslims are often brown-skinned people) but it has never been Christian and has always been fiercely anti-Israel. Its press officer believes in evolution and that black people are less highly evolved than whites.

Thirdly, Jim Clift is seriously asking Christians to support a party that up until a few weeks ago would not accept half of all Christian worshippers in London as members? Er, no thanks, Jim.

SO WHO CAN WE SUPPORT?

The BNP, having said, in the context of Tony Blair’s lies to take us to war in Iraq, ‘Jesus Christ forbad lying (Matt 19:18)’ are themselves economical with the truth. It is not true that ‘there is only one political party that Christians can support without betraying the Lord Jesus Christ,’ as they claim. (That party’s the BNP, if you were wondering.)

UKIP for a start are doing a fairly good job, standing against political correctness, against compulsory sex education and the EU, for example. We are taking a close look at them and their policies and in the meantime we are wishing their candidate Nigel Farage well as he tries to unseat the widely disliked John Bercow in Buckingham. (For that matter, who isn’t?)

The Christian People’s Alliance are a national party and it is eminently possible to support them in good conscience in the seats they are contesting. The English Democrats too are worth a second look.

Finally, the Christian Party is gearing up to fight 120 seats nationwide, including the Western Isles, Barking and Dagenham. In Barking its leader George Hargreaves goes head to head with the BNP’s Nick Griffin trying to unseat the minister for child abuse, Labour’s pro-abortion, pro-gay, pro-blasphemy, anti-Christian Margaret Hodge. They are a party Christians can support as they honour the Lord Jesus Christ as King of kings.

Let us pray that the Lord raises up candidates for Christians to vote for in good conscience. Voting for the wicked only encourages them. Give us someone to vote for – then we’ll promise to vote!

Tories Boast About Their Gay Candidates

The Conservative Party has published a list of its homosexual candidates standing for election this year. The Tories have 20 ‘out’ gay candidates, with 11 happy to be named.

The party has three professing homosexual MPs – Nick Herbert, Alan Duncan and Greg Barker – with a further 5 of the 11 likely to be elected.

One of the 11 is a woman. Millionairess Margot James is standing for Stourbridge, and is a prominent advisor to David Cameron. She would form a ‘sisterhood’ with Labour’s pensions minister Angela Eagle, currently the only lesbian in the House of Commons. Candidate Nick Boles is also a member of Cameron’s inner circle.

MANY STANDING FOR WINNABLE SEATS

According to the homosexual news site Pink News, ‘gay political commentator Iain Dale has speculated that the Conservatives have between 20 and 30 out gay candidates, with many standing for winnable seats.’

The Times estimated that if the Tories win a majority of ten, they will have slightly more ‘out’ gay MPs than Labour currently has. The shock for Christian voters is that the Conservatives are actually proud of having people standing who define themselves by their sexual perversion.

In response to criticisms of his recent pro-gay statements in ‘Attitude’ magazine,’David Cameron’s Correspondence Unit’ is now boasting that the Party has ‘three openly gay members’ of its front bench and that ‘David has made clear that he is proud that the Party fully supported civil partnerships.’ Last year Cameron apologised for his party’s introduction of Section 28, which banned the promotion of sodomy in the classroom, and this year he echoed Nick Clegg by calling for faith schools to be forced to teach that homosexuality is natural and harmless. Cameron then went further and announced he would offer political asylum to African homosexuals.

THE ELEVEN CANDIDATES
Already MP’s:

  • Greg Barker, Bexhill and Battle
  • Alan Duncan, Rutland and Melton
  • Nick Herbert, Arundel and South Downs
  • In winnable seats:
  • Margot James, 52, Stourbridge
  • David Gold, 37, Eltham
  • Nick Boles, 44, Grantham
  • Iain Stewart, 27, Milton Keynes South
  • Mark Coote, 49, Cheltenham

Less likely to win:

  • Nick King, 44, Mid Dorset and North Poole
  • Matthew Sephton, 34, Salford and Eccles
  • Simon Nayyar, 42, Hackney South and Shoreditch

Not listed:

  • Mike Freer, standing for Finchley & Golders Green

Being mentioned as potential candidates: Previous Falmouth candidate Ashley Crossley, blogger Iain Dale, actor Adam Rickitt, and Tory Central Office hack Dan Ritterband.

Seven-Year Olds Watch Cartoon Sex

Living & Growing
Living & Growing
Living & Growing
Living & Growing

The Daily Mail has reported that a class of seven and eight-year-olds were made to watch a cartoon showing a cartoon couple chasing each other around a bed and having sex.

The DVD, part of Channel 4’s sex education DVD, Living and Growing, was shown to pupils at East Wold Church of England Primary School in Lincolnshire.

Mother Lisa Bullivant, from Legbourne, Lincolnshire , has taken her daughter out of the school and placed her with another school.

Mrs Bullivant said: ‘The cartoon was very graphic. My daughter was frightened and children have unfortunately been copying what they have seen. Parents should have been given the decision of whether the video should have been shown or not.

‘Seven to nine-year-olds should not possess this knowledge. There is no educational or psychological benefit or need for children of this age to have full knowledge of what sexual intercourse actually entails.’

A voice-over on the DVD describes the sex as ‘exciting’.

It appears the school did send parents a letter saying they could view the film before it was shown to pupils, but the Mail says Mrs Bullivant and several other parents were unable to attend the screening.

She said: ‘We had no reason to think we needed to. You never think in a million years that would be taught to seven-year-olds.

‘We had faith in the head teacher and the school that all they would be learning would be basic puberty. It should have said in the letter children would learn how to have sexual intercourse.’

Mrs Bullivant has complained to head teacher Lesley Thornes and the school’s governors, and now wants a meeting with the director of education at Lincolnshire council. Mrs Thornes refused to comment.

The School’s Sex and Relationships Education Policy says: ‘As we are a Church School , the Governors also feel strongly that all work undertaken should encourage all pupils to have due regard for moral considerations and emphasize the value of family life.’ There is no mention of family or marriage in the ‘Living and Growing’ DVD shown to the children. A reasonable person would probably conclude, after reading the East Wold SRE policy, that ‘Living and Growing’ contravenes it.

The School’s latest Ofsted report said ‘Pupils thrive because the school’s Christian values create a caring ethos.’

It will probably come as no surprise that one Debbie Barnes, who is ‘assistant director of children’s services’ at the council, said: ‘The DVD has been recommended for use in schools by the Department for Children, Schools and Families, and is seen as appropriate for the age group.’

She continued: ‘We are sorry Mrs Bullivant has taken this view, but we are happy with the school’s approach in using the DVD for the benefit of its pupils and their education.’

Thousands of the Channel 4 sex education packs have been sold to primary schools and primary care trusts across the country. A Channel 4 spokesman said: ‘Living and Growing has been in the marketplace for nearly ten years and has been very well-received by the educational community.’ No surprise there either. Further jargon was to come. ‘Living and Growing was developed in response to requests for a resource that promotes sex and relationship education as a developmental process.’

The Channel 4 spokesman said further that the DVD is part of ‘the healthy schools curriculum’ and claimed it deals with ‘one of the most sensitive themes’ ‘in a factual and age-appropriate way.’

Despite that claim, the video was up on YouTube but only to those who sign in and confirm they are 18 or over and will not be shocked by explicit sexual material.

PRAY: That parents will not be fooled by what the sex educators say, but will apply their common-sense and protect their children. That the Governors will realise they have presided over little less than child sexual abuse and will throw out ‘Living and Growing’ altogether.

Gordon Brown Wants More Gay Laws

1

The Prime Minister has pledged to enact more unrighteous laws to please homosexual activists if Labour are returned to power. Or, as he put it a reception he and his wife Sarah hosted at 10 Downing Street to mark the so-called ‘LGBT History Month’, “Stand with gay people until ‘justice is achieved’.”

Gordon Brown said “progress had been made” and said the Government had “fought together” with the “lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual community”.

‘FULL RANGE OF GAY RIGHTS’ TO BE ACHIEVED

Brown promised not to ease up, even though homosexuals have won virtually all their demands, except one – honour and acceptance by people of faith.

“‘Tonight we reaffirm our commitment, my commitment, the commitment of the Government to standing with you all until the full range of gay rights are achieved,’ he said.

Mr Brown singled out steps taken in the last decade, including lifting the ban on lesbians and gay men serving in the armed forces, allowing same sex couples to have civil partnerships and to adopt.

He said: “We did all these things and more because we stood and fought together.

“Let me promise you I will not give up on the fight for justice until justice is achieved.

“The road to equality is always long and it’s always hard and it’s always tough.

PRO-PAEDOPHILE HARMAN PUSHING ‘EQUALITY’

“But as long as Harriet (Harman) and I and other ministers are able to work with you, I promise you that nobody ever need walk the road to equality alone.”

Harriet Harman was legal officer of the National Council for Civil Liberties (now called ‘ Liberty ‘) in the 1970’s and 1980’s when two campaigning paedophile groups, the Paedophile Information Exchange and Paedophile Action for Liberation, were affiliated to it. Patricia Hewitt was NCCL general secretary at the same time, and campaigning paedophiles were members of its Gay Rights Sub-Committee. Harriet Harman has never apologised for her pro-paedophile campaigning nor condemned PIE. She is now pushing the Government’s Equality Bill through Parliament.

At the ‘Stonewall Equality Dinner’ in April 2008, actor Sir Ian McKellen, a co-founder of the gay activist group, gave a keynote speech in which he gave the real reason why Labour ‘did all these things and more’.

TONY BLAIR GAVE IN TO ALL STONEWALL’S DEMANDS

He told the 540 guests that he had visited Tony Blair on behalf of Stonewall three months before his election as Prime Minister in 1997.

“I reeled off Stonewall’s demands, and he nodded, wrote them down and put a tick by them all. Then he said ‘we will do all that’,” said McKellen.

On 27th June 2009, homosexual journalist Matthew Parris wrote an article in the Times in which he revealed that when he was an MP in the 1980s, he met in a gay nightclub with Labour’s Peter Mandelson, Guardian gay journalist Nicholas de Jongh, and Ian McKellen to manipulate public opinion. “We planned media resistance to Section 28”, wrote Parris.

In the same article he revealed the self-destructive side of the gay lifestyle:

“New freedoms bring security, pride, even swagger. They bring a certain care-less hedonism, and that’s not all bad. There’s more unworried fun in store for a young gay man today than ever there was for me when I was 18.

“With the self-respect and freedom of the young, 21st-century gay man, has come a strutting self-regard, a materialistic consumerism, a vanity and a f***-off selfishness that I do not like. Spot the money, in a culture awash with disposable cash, where everybody’s earning and few are caring for kids or families. Watch the leisure and retail industry chasing the new gay spenders.”

POLITICIANS CHASING THE PINK VOTE

And of course the politicians. Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg and then David Cameron were interviewed in successive monthly editions of Attitude magazine either side of Christmas 2009 desperately courting the vote of a mere perverted 1% of the electorate. Clegg tried to outdo Brown in December then Cameron tried to upstage Clegg in January.

And now Brown has pledged to be gayer than either of them. A look at Labour’s legislative record shows that whichever occupies 10 Downing Street would start his parliamentary pro-sodomy campaigns from heights undreamed of in 1997.

LABOUR’S RECORD IN POWER

From 1998 to 2000, the Government tried to reduce the minimum age for sodomy from 18 to 16. In the end they used the Parliament Acts in order to silence opposition in the House of Lords.

Also in 2000, they removed the ban on homosexuals serving in the military.

In 2003, they abolished Section 28 of the Local Government Act 1988, which stopped local authorities promoting sodomy in schools.

In 2002, the Government legalised joint adoption by homosexual couples in the Adoption and Children Act. The Act came into force in England and Wales in 2005 and Scotland ‘s version of it in 2009. Christian magistrates opposed to it on the basis of children’s best interests have been dismissed or have resigned.

In 2003, the Government introduced the Sexual Orientation Regulations which banned employers insisting on employing people of good moral character. To the annoyance of Stonewall, there was an exemption for religious bodies and churches.

CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS AND GENDER RECOGNITION

In 2004, they passed the Civil Partnerships Act, legalising homosexual unions, and the Gender Recognition Act, allowing transsexuals to falsify their birth certificates.

The Sexual Offences Act 2004 abolished the crimes of buggery and gross indecency.

In 2005, ‘aggravation’ of offences introduced on the basis of ‘sexual orientation’ so that anyone attacking a homosexual would face a tougher sentence than a man attacking a rival football fan.

In 2007, a new set of Sexual Orientation Regulations outlawed discrimination in the provision of goods and services. The regulations obliged Christian hoteliers, photographers and printers to go against their conscience and forced religious adoption agencies to close.

2008 saw the enactment of a ‘homophobic hatred’ law. The House of Lords insisted on a ‘freedom of speech’ clause, as they did when the Government tried to delete it the following year.

In 2009, pairs of lesbians were given the right to be named as joint mothers on the birth certificate of a child conceived through fertility treatment.

Their Equality Bill, currently in the House of Lords, places a duty on public bodies, such as local authorities, schools and the police, to promote sodomy and transsexuality. Last month, the Church narrowly retained the right to employ fellow-believers in a vote in the House of Lords.

The Governments’ Children, Schools and Families Bill, now in the House of Commons, will make sex education part of the National Curriculum. Brown’s pledges to gay activists mean that pro-sodomy teaching will form part of it. Schools Out, the organisation behind LGBT History Month, is already gearing up for an increase in trade, if the expression, used in a homosexual context, does not fall too awkwardly.  (Homosexual men refer to their casual sexual contacts as ‘trade’.)

Not only that, the right of parents to prevent their children seeing unsuitable material by withdrawing them from such lessons will be curtailed. Parents who try to protect their children by home-schooling face the hurdles of registration and inspection by local authorities.

‘EVEN 20 YEARS AGO IT WAS UNTHINKABLE’

Celebrities including comedian Paul O’Grady, actor Antony Cotton (Eastenders) and rent-boy turned Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood attended Brown’s No 10 bash..

Asked about the significance of an invitation to an event at Number 10 for gay people, O’Grady said: “I was standing having a shave earlier and I thought Oscar Wilde would be turning in his grave.

“It would never have happened. Even 20 years ago it was unthinkable. It shows you what great steps have been made.”

Christian Voice National Director Stephen Green said: “O’Grady is right. Who would have thought that in just seven years, from the abolition of Section 28 in 2003 to the Equality Bill and the Children, Schools and Families Bill in 2010, that the Government of the United Kingdom , with the support of its two main opposition parties, would go from banning the promotion of sodomy to school-children to requiring it?

“For that matter, who would have thought just two years ago that a pair of radio presenters would insult and humiliate an elderly man and his grand-daughter in a sexual context using lewd language on our national broadcaster? Yet that is what Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand did to Andrew Sachs and Georgina Bailie in October 2008.

“Or that a young girl would murder a grandmother in a row over a cigarette? The world that Gordon Brown has helped to create, the one he, Nick Clegg and David Cameron want to advance, a world in which secularism and gay rights are advanced and Christianity and righteousness trampled upon, the world of Sodom and Gomorrah, is and is becoming more selfish, more hedonistic, coarser, more callous, more crass and more brutal than any of us could have imagined.

“Indeed, as Paul O’Grady says, such a world would have been unthinkable twenty years – or even ten years – ago. If Christian men do not stand up for the risen, ascended Jesus Christ soon, this United Kingdom will surely go the way of the Cities of the Plain. And there will be no celebrity bash promoting sodomy at No 10 in that day.”

Cameron Wants Open Door to African Gays

The Conservative Party leader has offered asylum to African homosexuals in an interview with a homosexual magazine.

Writing in Attitude, David Cameron also agreed with Nick Clegg, who wrote in the same magazine last month that faith schools should teach that sodomy is ‘normal and harmless’. Cameron, in his turn, promised ‘ground rules’ to force church schools to ‘teach equality’ and that there was ‘nothing wrong with being gay’.

TORIES ‘NOW SUPPORT GAY EQUALITY’

‘I think we can look gay people in the eye and say: “You can now back us – because we now support gay equality”,’ Cameron gushed.

He even urged the Church of England to embrace gay rights. Displaying ignorance of Christian theology and totalitarian arrogance, he called on Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, to follow in his footsteps. ‘I don’t want to get into a huge row with the Archbishop here, but the Church has to do some of the things that the Conservative Party has been through,’ he said. ‘Sorting this issue out and recognising that full equality is a bottom-line, full essential.’

But it is Cameron’s approach to asylum which has drawn the headlines. He told his homosexual audience: ‘If you are fleeing persecution and that fear is well-founded, then you should be able to stay.

‘As I understand it, the 1951 Convention [on the rights of refugees] doesn’t mention sexuality, but because it mentions membership of a social group, that phrase is being used by the courts, rightly, to say that if someone has a realistic fear of persecution they should be allowed to stay.’

‘If you have a legitimate fear of persecution, then it seems to me that it is a perfectly legitimate reason to stay,’ he said.

CAMERON WOULD LET HOMOSEXUALS TO GIVE BLOOD

Mr Cameron also called for an end to the ban on gays giving blood, saying: ‘Logic would dictate that it’s time to change.’ The ban was introduced to stop HIV/AIDS being transmitted, mainly to haemophiliacs, in the 1980s.

Homosexual men remain the largest reservoir of HIV in the UK and have gone back to unsafe sexual practices since the introduction of HAART – Highly Active Anti-Retroviral Treatment – which makes it possible to live with AIDS.

The blood-borne disease AIDS/HIV is also very prevalent amongst homosexual African men, according to a study in the Lancet reported in the homosexual news service Pink News. They are ten times more likely to have the disease than their straight counterparts, in a continent ravaged by the disease because of unsafe medical practices. By a peculiar co-incidence, that news broke just as Cameron’s interview was being published.

SODOMY ABHORRENT TO AFRICANS

Stephen Green, National Director of Christian Voice said today:

‘It is absolute nonsense to pretend that African homosexuals are a ‘social group.’ Homosexuality is abhorrent to Africans, homosexuals are rare and ‘gay pride’ parades are viewed with disgust on the continent, as a result of higher standards of sexual morality.  Sodomy is seen very much as a white mans’ game. That we even allow gays to adopt children in the UK is met by Africans with incomprehension.

‘But Africans are very resourceful, and some will be adept at passing themselves off as homosexual just to gain entry to what they think is a land where the streets are paved with gold. They will find the reality very different.

‘Coupled with Cameron’s politically-correct but irresponsible call for those who practice buggery to be allowed to give blood, and the prevalence of HIV/AIDS especially amongst homosexuals in Africa, and Cameron could just as well be calling for more HIV/AIDS patients, putting further strain on the NHS. It costs over half-a-million pounds to treat each AIDS patient with HAART over the remainder of his life. And the risk of contamination to blood stocks from the raft of exotic diseases routinely carried by homosexual men is very real.

CAMERON: ‘NOTHING WRONG WITH SODOMY IN SCHOOLS’

‘As to forcing schools to teach that sodomy is normal and harmless, or in Cameron’s words, ’embedding’ it and saying that there is ‘nothing wrong with it’, the influence of his pro-gay kitchen cabinet is evident, and also totally out of step with what the majority of parents expect of their children’s schools.

‘There is no commitment from Cameron to give asylum to Christians fleeing persecution, which is what a Christian country should do. But I guess as Cameron is a secularist, clearly wanting to drive the United Kingdom into some secularist utopia, asylum in his eyes should be given to those who despise the laws of Almighty God at the expense of those who honour them.

‘We have the sad spectacle of the main political party leaders trying to be ‘gayer than thou’, falling over themselves to court the vote merely of a perverted one percent of the population. That should make decent people unable to vote for any of them.

TRAVELLING THE ROAD OF SODOM AND GOMORRAH

‘We are close to living in the days of Lot , where homosexuality was approved and promoted and even forced on visitors, while faith in God and righteousness were persecuted. I am just praying for Christian candidates to stand for righteousness in the coming general election to give a voice to those of us who do not want the UK to travel the road of Sodom and Gomorrah.’

PRAY: For the Lord to raise up Christian candidates and provide the finances needed for them to fight an election campaign so as to be elected. Pray for mercy for this land and judgment on anti-Christ politicians like Nick Clegg and David Cameron. May their political houses fall.
