That seems to cover most of it ! Go on, register. You can be Stephania. Why not pose as bi too? I’m sure there are not really so many biphobic children in unindoctrinated primary schools as we are led to believe.

Incidentally, the portrait in your attic must require a considerable amount of restoration by
    now.

  1. Thank you Stephen, your answers are very helpful.
The whole idea of being able to change your sex because you feel like it is sickening and totally absurd!

    Quote from question 21…
“The Government recognises that intersex people who have had their sex incorrectly assigned at birth may want to apply for a GRC to make this amendment.”

Incorrectly assigned!!! From the beginning of creation, newborns have been assigned their sex in the same way – by looking at the body – just as we do with dogs or horses or whatever. Is it going to become politically unacceptable to say to a brand new mother “You’ve got a baby boy?!”

I don’t know about “politically unacceptable”, whatever that means, but I can imagine “Guidelines” being produced that recommends just such a thing, all in the cause of “tolerance” and “inclusion”, of course. If you’re a midwife/nurse who objects, and defies the guidance by deliberately calling male babies with a penis boys, and female girls with a vagina girls, then yes, you will fall foul of the authoritie s and I think a time is rapidly coming when you will be sacked. At the very least, you will incur a big black mark on your file.

The strange thing is that this fashion clashes with another fashion.
Parents want to know the sex of their baby BEFORE it is born. How can the radiographer know what the foetus thinks it is ? But parents don’t seem to question her opinion.

Worse still, I am told (BBC) that the latest fashion is for the radiographer to tell the organisers of a special party in a sealed envelope, not the parents. The mother learns at the party when a giant balloon bursts open, and either pink or blue confetti bursts out. This is held to be conclusive — it’s a strange old world, isn’t it ?

What people really enjoy, apparently (and this was on the BBC) is the distress of a mother who doesn’t get the colour she wanted. This is photographed or even filmed, and distributed on the internet. No arguing with that.

  2. Well done, Stephen. Thank you. I submitted my response before you published yours, so any similarity between my response and yours is coincidental. My response, the consultation and the present Act are all available via:

Choice of sex. Male/Female..Transgender etc. As a nation many of us have become dissatisfied with ourselves! Two world wars close together did, for a while, give us common purpose. This has all changed, we no longer pray to the TRUE GOD

    to gra.consultation

Remember the SECOND WORLD WAR YEARS! We prayed at crucial times as we new ourselves our crisis. How in those dire years he came to our rescue! Now we find ourselves contravening his divine laws. We were created Male and Female to inhabit this earth and to bring it into subjection! Genesis 1 vs 26 – 31. We MUST begin again to FEAR GOD and his laws. What we do in our society will affect not only ourselves, but nations THROUGHOUT THE WORLD! English language is universal, so what we do affects us all. We can again set an example to the rest of Man/Women kind by thanking God for his GOODNESS TO US in times past, and retreating from this awful dissatisfaction that is engulfing OUR SOCIETY.

    Yours sincerely
John Geach (Member of Christian Voice)

I am not at all keen on men pretending to be women, and women pretending to be men, but it doesn’t affect me very much. It would be incalculably worse for everybody to have a war which really affected us in western Europe, even if this persuaded people to pray more, even if God answered some of their prayers and made things a little less bad.

It’s not clear where Mr Geach’s theory comes from. After 1815. much of Europe and particularly Britain was free of wars which affected people at home much (as opposed to profitable colonial wars). Yet this produced in the rest of the century more and more puritanical Victorians, for whom prayer was a primary activity.

If the English language is “universal”, then anybody using it is likely to affect the rest of the world, not just us .It’s particularly obvious that the Americans are having far more effect than we are ! Have you noticed “Forgot your password ?” It should of course be “Forgotten your password ? “. Perhaps you forgot your password in 2010, but that is irrelevant. What matters is whether you have forgotten your password now, as you try to sign in. There are many such examples. If you think this is nit-picking, I’m afraid the Americans are winning. Have a nice fall.

  1. […] The Government Transgender consultation website has been so overwhelmed with responses they have extended the deadline to 12 noon today. And we can see that slipping out as well. So whatever time you receive this, as the advert says, just do it.  Don’t bother with their website. Email your response. Our webpage here has all the links and a clear how-to-do-it. […]
