Around £20 million of your hard-earned taxpayer money have been shamefully squandered by the NHS over just three years. This vast sum was spent on “feminising genital surgery” for biological men, including vulnerable teenagers.
The Telegraph’s investigation pulls back the curtain on this shocking expenditure, revealing a conveyor belt of irreversible procedures that leave young men infertile and often deeply regretful.
The very fabric of our society is being torn asunder, and the National Health Service, once a beacon of care, is now complicit in a grotesque betrayal of its founding principles.
We must ask ourselves, in a nation struggling with genuine health crises, why are we subsidising such radical and destructive interventions?
There is an increasing waiting lists for essential, life-saving treatments within the NHS. While patients languish, suffering real illnesses, millions are diverted to procedures that, by medical consensus, offer no inherent health benefit and carry significant risks.

Psalm 139:13-14 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb…I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
When childhood ends on the operating table
The depths of this medical madness are plumbed further with the revelation that 18-year-olds, barely out of childhood, are being ushered onto the operating table to have their penises removed.
This “irreversible” surgery renders them permanently infertile, robbing them of the capacity to fulfil God’s command to “be fruitful and multiply.” The chilling data, obtained through Freedom of Information requests, confirms our worst fears: a significant proportion of these procedures are performed on those under 30, with some as young as 18 or 19.
How can a society, claiming to protect its youth, allow such a travesty? These are not mature adults making informed decisions; these are often vulnerable young people, caught in a societal maelstrom that promotes gender ideology over biological reality. This is child abuse, cloaked in medical legitimacy, and the NHS is its willing accomplice.
The long-term psychological impact on individuals who undergo these surgeries at a young age, particularly those who later “detransition”, often leading to profound regret, depression, and further mental health struggles. The stories of detransitioners, like Ritchie Herron, are a stark warning of the human cost.

The surgical deception – fabricating a fallacy
The details of these so-called “feminising genital surgeries” are gruesome and deeply disturbing. The removal of a man’s God-given anatomy – his p*nis and testicles – only to then fashion a crude imitation of a v*gina using the very skin of his desecrated body.
The NHS itself admits this surgery “is not reversible” and can lead to “permanent infertility,” “loss of sexual function,” incontinence, and “dissatisfaction” with the result. This is not genuine healing; it is a barbaric attempt to play God, creating a grotesque parody of His perfect design.
The sheer arrogance of man, believing he can improve upon divine creation, is laid bare in these operating theatres. This is a medical and moral abomination, inflicting lifelong suffering under the guise of “gender affirmation.”
There has been ethical debate surrounding medical interventions that cause permanent infertility, especially when performed on young individuals who may not fully comprehend the long-term consequences. This raises serious questions about informed consent and the medical profession’s responsibility to protect the future reproductive capacity of its patients.

The betrayal of trust – clinicians cry foul
Even within the medical establishment, voices of conscience are beginning to rise above the clamour of ideological conformity. Clinicians are calling for an urgent review, branding these procedures as “unethical” due to the alarming lack of evidence regarding their long-term impact.
Dr. Louise Irvine of the Clinical Advisory Network on Sex and Gender rightly points out the absence of research on the effectiveness of these surgeries in relieving gender dysphoria, juxtaposed with the high level of severe complications.
The NHS is proceeding with “profound surgery with long term effects on very young men,” many of whom, she notes, have underlying mental health issues or autism that are utterly neglected in these clinics. This is not compassionate care; it is a dereliction of medical duty, a scandalous abandonment of the principle of “first, do no harm.”
Meanwhile, a growing number of medical professionals and organisations have challenged the prevailing “affirmation-only” model of gender care, advocating for a more holistic, evidence-based, and cautious approach that prioritises mental health support over irreversible medical interventions.

Indoctrination to incision
Stephanie Davies-Arai, founder of Transgender Trend, offers a sobering truth: these young men are the tragic product of childhood indoctrination. They are the “same cohort of young people who have been indoctrinated as children into believing that they have a gender identity and that they are trans.”
They are then funnelled into adult clinics, subjected to “serious procedures” that are “elective surgeries with no health benefits but clear health risks and harm.”
Many of these young people are grappling with autism, mental health problems, or a history of trauma and abuse – issues that are conveniently ignored in the rush to irreversible surgery.
The NHS is spending millions on a destructive agenda, abandoning its true purpose for a dangerous ideological experiment.
Stop the mutilation, restore sanity
The NHS’s complacent response – a “wide-ranging review of adult gender services” that excludes surgery – is an insult to the intelligence and moral conscience of the nation.
It is a cynical attempt to deflect from the urgent need for a complete halt to these unproven and damaging procedures.
We, as Christians, must rise up and demand an immediate end to this taxpayer-funded barbarity. We must pray for those ensnared by this ideology and for those who have suffered at its hands. We must advocate for policies that uphold biological reality, protect the vulnerable, and restore genuine, ethical healthcare.
It is time for repentance, for a return to sanity, and for a complete rejection of the transgender agenda that is mutilating God’s precious creation.
