Your prayers and support have enabled a blessed week of doors opening and divine appointments in Kampala.

Overnight to Kampala

The ‘jam’ in Kampala. (Actually, we were all waiting for the Presidential convoy to pass.)

Judy and I travelled overnight by coach from Nakuru in Kenya to Kampala in Uganda arriving on Monday morning, 20th January 2025. On arrival, we met with Rev Martin Ssempa, a staunch opponent of the homosexual agenda for many years. We watched the Trump inauguration together.

On Tuesday lunchtime we welcomed our Burundi Christian Voice co-ordinator, Héroïne, to Kampala, to observe events. We had a meeting with Christian leaders arranged for the next day by this point, and a TV interview, but no meetings with MPs.

Then, in the late afternoon, all the doors opened in perfect sequence, as they were always going to, by God’s grace. We just need faith in these situations.

Church Meeting

So it was that on Wednesday morning I was able to share with young Christian leaders at Gospel Revealed Ministry at the invitation of Rev Steve Lipsey and DJ Victor.

I was enabled to explain how the spiritual battle in Uganda has shifted with the enactment of the Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023. The antichrist, Western-funded NGOs have moved their attention to Comprehensive Sexuality Education (like our RSE, but even worse).

Parents, just the same as in the UK, need to find out what their children are being taught, because NGOs like Plan International are ready to foist their CSE teaching materials onto schools and local teachers, like Greeks bearing gifts.

UK’s FCDO is funding evil

WATCH THE INTRO CLIP

I was also able to share that our very own UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has instituted a £40million programme to promote homosexuality throughout the developing world. That is on top of the money pouring in from other Western governments and ungodly foundations (Open Society, Ford Foundation, Sigrid Rausing Trust, Bill & Melinda Gates and too many others to mention).

Also operating across Uganda is Marie Stopes International (MSI). MSI are known to perform illegal abortions in their 14 Ugandan centres. And on their website, who do they say is subidising their abortions? Step forward the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFP) and the FCDO.

So there is much for Ugandans to do in forming a locally-based, locally-funded Christian Voice affiliate, identifying Satan’s spiritual strongholds, praying against their activities, keeping a watch on the schools where their children are taught, and praying for their leaders to be able, humble men who love truth and hate bribery and corruption.

Meetings with MPs

In the afternoon, we were whisked across Kampala to the Parliament of Uganda. We met with Hon Elijah Okupa MP, who graciously introduced us to some of his colleagues.

We were able to explain the depth of the battle they are still engaged in to ensure the young people of Uganda are not corrupted, and to pray for the Honourable Members and encourage them to stand for the truth of God’s word.

Next, Héroïne, Judy and I were all taken to the public gallery of the Chamber, where we were recognised by name by the Deputy Speaker of the Ugandan Parliament and applauded by honourable members. We each stood and bowed in response. How cool is that?

By your support, you enabled and participated in all of that.

Meeting with David Bahati

With Rt Hon David Bahati MP: Judy is second right.

To cap an extraordinary day, we received an invitation to meet the Hon David Bahati MP, Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives (Industry).

Hon David is well-known to Western LGBT activists as the man who brought in the first Anti-Homosexuality Bill in 2009. The courts ruled it unconstitutional but Mr Bahati persevered and a version of the Bill was finally enacted by President Yoweri Museveni on 26th May 2023.

As a result of his efforts, David Bahati was vilified by the US under Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and by the UK, Canada and the EU. He was disinvited to the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C in 2010, and banned by the UK Government. He really is a tough, humble man of God, raised up for such a time as this. It was a privilege to be able to pray with him and for him. Once again, your prayers and support enabled that.

TV Interview

On Thursday morning, I was invited by Pastor Tonny Muhumuza on Freedom TV for an hour. The subject of homosexuality came up again, with a young man texting in to ask if I could pray for him to be released from same-sex desires. Watch on YouTube:

The extent of our own national depravity may be gauged by current proposals to make it illegal to do just that in the UK. Also that we are now so busy arguing about trans ideology that even Christians in the UK seem to have forgotten that God made us male and female with marriage as his first social institution, that he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for the rebellion of institutionalised sodomy and that the UK now has the same satanic ideology and our leaders need to repent and honour the King of kings.

A young woman was also in contact, to testify that she had been offered money by a no-doubt Western-funded homosexual group to become a lesbian. Once more, my prayer was that she would find strength in the Lord to resist that temptation, with the Psalm 1 assurance that the Lord would bless her obedience many times over.

Kenya Christian Voice Conference

Passengers reporting for the Kenya/Uganda coach.
Passengers reporting for the Uganda to Kenya coach in Kampala.

That same evening (Thursday 23rd) found us back on the bus bound for Kisumu, Kenya. The immigration process in the border town of Busia at 1am, followed by the range of street food offered by people earning their living, needs to be experienced to be believed! Naturally, my visas, both applied for last minute, had earlier been approved, with God’s speed. Judy, being a Kenyan national, travels throughout East Africa visa-free.

So we are now in a modest but comfortable hotel in the small Kenyan town of Sondu with wonderful views of the Kericho hills soon preparing for tomorrow’s Kenya Christian Voice Conference (with three sessions) and then a Sunday service. I will only get through it in the Lord’s strength.

Please keep praying for us and supporting us, for the conference to be led and blessed by the Lord, and for him to continue to open doors for us next week before I return, God willing, to the UK on 1st February for West Ham Open-Air Prayer!

  1. What you are doing, Stephen is very good. I like the way you are travelling out to East Africa and supporting the Christian representation over there, who, clearly, could teach us a thing or two, and I mean first the church in the UK. The politicians are morally utterly corrupt in the UK, and they/we are fast becoming reprobate as a nation, as being beyond spiritual hope. What you state here is demonstrable proof of this. We are fast becoming like Sodom and Gomorrha whom the Lord will judge at some point; possibly sooner than later.
