A Muslim plot to take over schools in Birmingham and Bradford shows how good they are and how poor Christians are at advancing their respective world-views.
Operation Trojan Horse, as the Islamic scheme is called, involves identifying schools in predominantly Muslim areas which are struggling.  For each school, a group of parents committed to Islam is built up.
Next comes a campaign to elect one or more faithful Muslims to the school governing body.
After that, the head teacher is undermined by the use of complaints to local MPs and education authorities as well as by identifying “weak and disgruntled staff” who can cause problems for the head with Ofsted.
A letter containing the details of the Muslim schools take-over plot came to light after it was leaked to the National Association of Head Teachers.
Muslim Campaign secures leadership changes in schools
It claims responsibility for leadership changes at four schools, Adderley Primary, Saltley School, Park View School and Regents Park Community Primary School.
Saltley’s head teacher resigned last year after a critical Ofsted report.  Inspectors said there was a “dysfunctional” relationship between head teacher Balwant Bains and governors which was hindering the school.
The inspectors’ statement appears to confirm claims in the letter that the group has “caused a great amount of organised disruption in Birmingham and as a result we have our own academies and are on the way to getting rid of more head teachers and taking over their schools”.
The letter, seen by the BBC, targets another 12 schools in Birmingham, and was also sent to a contact in Bradford.
It urges the recipient to use Ofsted reports to identify schools in predominantly Muslim areas which are struggling and adds: ”Operation ‘Trojan Horse’ has been very carefully thought through and is tried and tested within Birmingham, implementing it in Bradford will not be difficult for you.”
Schools ‘corrupting their children with sex education’
It states that parents could be encouraged to turn against the leadership team if they are told the school is “corrupting their children with sex education, teaching about homosexuals, making their children pray Christian prayers and [carrying out] mixed swimming and sport”.
Needless to say, the revelations have sent the politicians into a spin, with Liam Byrne, Labour MP for Hodge Hill, holding ‘urgent talks’ with Ofsted, City Council officials, the office of Michael Gove and DfE officials.
“These are deeply disturbing allegations, which is why Ofsted has been called in,” he said.
The chastening point for Christians will be that the inbuilt corruption in sex education and the pro-sodomy teaching which is now mandated by the Equality Act 2010, not to mention the pro-evolution slant of biology, affect Christian children as well, but that Christian parents have in the main shown not the slightest inclination to protect them from such ungodly influences.
Secularists and Muslims advancing their world-views
It may well be that Christian parents have always assumed that schools are much as they were when they went to school or that, believing in shared cultural values, they put too much trust into schools, teachers, experts and those in authority, even those in sex education promotion groups and working parties.
It has been obvious for some time that Secularists are far better at advancing their world-view than Christians, and it comes as no surprise given what we know of Islamic ambitions of world dominance to discover that Muslims are interested in advancing their world-view as well.
As the letter states:Â “We have an obligation to our children to fulfil our roles and ensure these schools are run on Islamic principles.”
Do Christians even know what a Christian world-view is?
But do Christians know what Christian principles are, apart from ‘love’?  We speak above of a secularist world-view, and of a Muslim world-view, but do Christians even know what a Christian world-view is?  Do Christians even know we have one?
Do we know that the ‘earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein’? (Psalm 24:1)
Are we aware that ‘Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people’? (Prov 14:34)
Do we know that we are to teach the ways of the Lord ‘diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up’? (Deut 6:7)
Have we read that as much as parents should ‘provoke not your children to wrath’ that we have a responsibility to ‘bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord’? (Eph 6:4), to ‘Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it’Â (Prov 22:6)Â
Do we ‘go in the strength of the Lord GOD’ and ‘make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only’? (Psalm 71:16).
Are we certain to say of God ‘Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth’? (Psalm 119:142).
Or do we think that Jesus has swept away all the Old Testament to replace it with a ‘law of love’ that requires us to give in to evil, roll over and let our children take their chance?
Do we personalise away the injunction to go about ‘Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ’? (2Cor 10:5)
Have we remembered that providing for our families includes defending and protecting them: ‘But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel’? (1Tim 5:8)
Advance the Christian faith
The Muslims behind ‘Operation Trojan Horse’ are simply doing what they should do as Muslim parents; make sure their children are being taught according to their faith.
Yes, there are Christian academies doing great work, but Christians could and should have been getting themselves onto school governing bodies and removing ungodly head teachers not just by ‘praying them out’ but by seeking God for what to do themselves. Â It isn’t ‘unsporting’ or not quite ‘British’ to fight for what is right and advance the Christian faith in every avenue of life!
And we can surely think of a more positive and imaginative name for such a campaign than ‘Operation Trojan Horse’!

Dear Voice,
We as parents of Christian based families, are subject to censering what we say and teach our children and grandchildren ,
I have two Granddaughters in school ,and when I teach them the TRUTHS in the holy scriptures ( Holy Bible ),
They are told not to take any notice of what we as parents and Grandparents say .
The Vicar that they have for religous study are teaching the children the pagan roman catholic teachings?.
and will not entertain any other study.
They are taught a modern ? version of the Lords prayer and not what is written in scripture.
I am so mad that our children are being misled in these ways.
The muslims teach what is written in their Koran to the letter, that is why thy are ahead of us .
If we taught the same principles we would be classed has Islamaphobic and worst still a RACIST.
There is no body of Authority to control what the muslims teach but only the Christians.
I am not against any other religion praticing their believes, but only against those that control the Christian religion of this country.
If there is any Racism then it comes against the Christian teachings.
Amen to most.
Quibbles:-
Do we have ‘predominantly Christian areas’ in the sense that we have ‘predominantly Muslim areas’? Perhaps we should.
Muslims do not have Ephesians 6:12 (…not against flesh and blood…).
Amen. As to Ephesians 6:12, John, it reads, in full:
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (KJV)
I have the feeling that for some in the church, the verse ends at ‘For we wrestle not.’
Our Government are too afraid to Stand up for their own Countries Culture, and religion, We were a Christian Country, once, but thanks to those who rule this country, and profess to be Christians, they Have sold Christianity and the people of Britain down the river. Our Country is on a Very slippery Moral, and Religious slope. I will never Vote Conservatives again for what they have done to devalue the Christian Faith. ie:- Redefine God’s Holy Law of Matrimony .Taking Christian teaching out of our schools, Colleges, and Universities, but they allow all other Religion to be taught to Christian Children, and I agree, The only Racism in in this Country is against Christian Beliefs, and Morals. Lord Help them is all I can Pray, for they are going to have to answer for what they have done, against God, and our Country one day. For there IS going to be a Day of reckoning.
Well, it won’t help you to vote Labour. Milliband is not a Christian.
I don’t think it is true that they have taken Christian teachings “out” of our schools and allowed other religions to be taught. They have allowed other religions in, but not taken Christianity out.
I was at an English university in the 60s , and we never received any religious teaching of any kind whatsoever. It was possible to do a degree course in theology, and it still is.
Then if there is no-one to vote for, don’t vote at all. It only encourages them.
It’s possible today to do a degree course in theology and come out at the other end just as unsaved as you went in.
Dear Stephen
I am afraid that until Christians and the general public wake up to the fact that Islam is an expansionist religion which spreads its tentacles through stealth jihad this will continue until Islam is the dominant faith in Britain. Many Christians are promoters of political correctness and multiculturalism and are also in many ways to blame for our current problems. They believe that we ‘can build bridges with our Muslim brothers’ and live in peace through interfaith dialogue. They are ignorant of the history of Islam and adopt a suicidal approach to this faith. The differential birth-rates between Muslims and the host population and mass immigration which many Christians support will ensure the marginalisation of the Christian faith in as little as another decade.
We need a militant Christianity that stands up for what it believes in not some washy washy politically correct pro multicultural faith that is dying as we speak.
Dear Voice,
For one, i do not see the need for children in Christian schools to be taught about other religions in depth like they do in both my children’s schools. The schools have actually left teaching about God to teaching about other religions, I have not heard of any Muslim school teach their students or pupils about Christianity.
Brother Stephen, I agree to Christians being on the governing bodies of the school this is not as easy as you think, the bodies still have to abide with the national curriculum set by the government. I think the change should first of all come from the head, in this case, the government.
When my children come home and they tell me they have been taught about other religions in depth, I tell them the only Book we believe in is the Bible. I very much believe that we parents have a lot we can do by teaching our children the word of God as we can find in Proverbs 22 v 6.
On the whole Stephen, you are right. But we might be excused for thinking, from some of your report, that such disgraceful, deceitful and underhand behaviour should also be practiced by Christians.
I removed my chidren 20 years ago from the RE classes at one of the best Grammar Schools in the country when the RE teacher sought to pervert the Creation account with liberal nonsense. The danger has grown, of course, since that time, that Christian parents who remove their children from corrupt RE classes, for example, now run the risk of having them stolen by Social Services.
Our British education system should be high on the agenda in our Church prayer meetings and Christian parents simply MUST teach their children the word of God at home to combat the drivel taught in so many schools.
John Trapp writing on the subject of prayer said, “A dull suitor begs a denial.” We need to get serious about this in our private and public prayers. God bless you.
You say that the letter has been seen by the BBC.
It will be interesting to see whether the BBC publicises the contents of the letter at all, given that it (the BBC) is usually very careful not to tread on Muslim toes, – though quite happy to trample all over Christians.
I believe that the Lord is permitting militant Islam to rise up in this country as a judgement for the way that the UK has turned away from His Word.
As our politicians become even more godless (if that was possible!) so militant Islam will become more pronounced.
Once Islam takes over, the gays will find that the Christians, whom they despise, are mild compared to Islamists.
This nation is in for a dreadful time.
I quote from a long letter we recently sent to our governing body. It is a C of E school which is very good in every way, including ticking the OFSTED boxes!
” How can pupils appreciate truth and goodness if these values are totally subjective, which they are in a multi-cultural society? This RE policy does not even mention God! The Christian ethos becomes nothing more than an unsustainable dream if Christianity is not taught to the children as the one and only truth. Other religions do not seem to have such a wavering and uncertain faith in their versions of the truth; why do we? ”
We felt it necessary to write this, even though our school and area is predominantly, maybe totally, ‘Christian’. Unfortunately we are unlikely to find out exactly how the individual governors feel about it as they have referred to the Diocese for advice…and this is when school governors are still unpaid volunteers, accountable to nobody other than the community they serve! – apart from the Foundation govs who have a duty towards the Diocese.
In my experience Christian generally speaking are not knolegeable about the violence and cruelty which is in the Koran concerning non muslems. This country has drifted away from Christian teachings at its peril. It is also terible that halal killing is allowed in this country. It is cruelty in the extreme. Generally speaking the danger of islam is not talked about in churches. The British people must wake up to this danger.
This is yet another example of what a garbage nation we are becoming. The church in this country is either asleep or complicit in this kind of subterfuge by their own version of ‘tolerance.’ Anglican churches that have interfaith prayer rooms; other churches who compromise o nthe creation account i ngenesis, making it easier to include the darwinian theory of evolution; church leaders who are embracing gay marriage; these re all compromising subterfuges actively engaged in by many church leaders who have basically lost the plot.
I regard our politicians as utterly twisted in their morality, and they think to inform us about ‘political correctness’ and the like; they are ammoral, twisted and thoroughly evil, dressing themselves up as something very diferent to what they are. However, my anger is reserved first for the church in the UK who are basically useless and simply not fit for purpose. They are charlatans, and their activities demonstrate that they are wolves in sheeps clothing. On the day of judgement, they will be called to account to some purpose.
Penny and I are Christian Mums and are on the alert for our children with regard to what they are being taught in school especially with same sex marriage coming into force. We will pull our children out of what ever we consider to be damaging to them as far as we can. We need to pray that the schools will stand against promoting same sex relationships as alternative lifestyles. We are living in the days where we will probably be facing persecurtion.
Let’s be realistic. I should imagine that very few schools are going to spend much time teaching about same sex marriage, and even if they do, most of the pupils are going to react to it in an intolerant manner.
One hopes a God-given conscience will win in the way you describe, although the sort of teaching which says that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality is all part of the drip-feed of pro-gay propaganda. And do not forget that state schools are public bodies and now have a ‘public duty’ to put a positive spin on homosexuality and transgenderism.
May I just correct something written by Brother Charles? The Roman Catholic faith is not pagan but the religion founded by Our Saviour on the ‘rock’ of Simon, who was renamed ‘Peter’, the first Bishop of Rome and Father (Pope) of the original version of Christianity.
The behaviour of some of its leaders down the centuries may leave a lot to be desired, but this does not invalidate the doctrines it inherited from the apostles and subsequently, with great care and conservatism, developed during the two millennia of existence (so far). “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”
The example set by its saints and by countless, selfless people living lives of unsung heroes in every generation – which never reaches the news headlines – put into perspective the contribution made by the imperfect but persevering faithful to establish Almighty God’s kingdom on Earth.
I and many other’s I know agree about the very thing’s that I have read above going on in Britian, so much of the same we are and have been quickly experiencing here in the “Good ol U.S. Of A. “!!! They keep saying how so many of our Church’s are closing, how so many no longer go to Church, etc. ! Well our government
started when I recall letting Madilyn Murry O’Hare
the aithiest who complained about Prayer in school’s
Win and have them removed back when I was a child !!!
I’ve since heard many a time that her son grew up to be I
believe a Baptist preacher… Praise Be to GOD !!!
Most of the Church’s/pastor’s Don’t and Won’t Preach and
Teach according to GOD’S HOLY WORD ~ the BIBLE
For FEAR THAT THEY WILL OFFEND OR BE PROFILED
AS RACEST !!! GOD WILL HAVE FINAL SAY !!
I would certainly agree with David Green: the Catholic Church is far from perfect (indeed, otherwise the Reformation would never have come about and it was waiting to happen) but at least it has remained staunch against homosexuality and abortion (I have prayed outside abortion clinics with our Catholic ‘cousins’). Sir Thomas More was my (catholic) hero as he stood up for the sanctity of marriage; Martin Luther, for his apparent denouncements against the Jews, I support. Although tragically his teachings were twisted by Hitler.
We have ignored the words of God to Joel. He says there will be a swarm of locusts that will cause a famine of knowledge and worship of God. We are in it. But God does tell Joel there is a way out. Christianity is to love God first and our neighbours second.
