That may be because he was busy. His father, who is a single parent, left his son, 8 or 9 at the time, home alone. \u2018J&#8217; got into some trouble with a neighbour&#8217;s son. Rather than warn \u2018EL&#8217; not to leave his son alone again, Medway Council took the boy away.<\/p>\n<p>While in Medway&#8217;s care, the council failed to safeguard \u2018J&#8217;. He was encouraged by his foster parents to play\u00a0particularly violent video games in their possession. \u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">These included one used\u00a0by\u00a0Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik as &#8216;training&#8217;, and about which an MP has called for a ban<\/a><\/strong>. \u00a0They also refused to let him practice his music.<\/p>\n<p>The father told this ministry that when his son came out of care, the effects of the emotional harm inflicted on him by the council became apparent in increasingly violent behaviour.<\/p>\n<h2>Mistakes made in\u00a0asking for help and complaining<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9803\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9803\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/index.php\/father-fighting-medway-council-faces-jail-for-contempt\/20170116canterbury-004\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9803\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-9803\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170116Canterbury-004-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Canterbury Combined Courts\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170116Canterbury-004-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170116Canterbury-004-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170116Canterbury-004-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170116Canterbury-004-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9803\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Canterbury Combined Courts<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In 2014 there was a bout of extreme behaviour from \u2018J&#8217;. \u2018EL&#8217; made the mistake of dialing 999 to ask for for help from paramedics. Ambulance staff attended with police and naturally, social services again became involved. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/uknews\/11994749\/Concert-pianist-loses-custody-of-son-after-he-is-found-in-squalid-conditions.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">There were lurid stories in the press<\/a><\/strong> of the boy \u2018cowering under a piano&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>These stories, put about by the local authority, made it appear as if the son was hiding from his father. In reality, says the father, he was trying to hide from the police and social services.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018EL&#8217; then made a second mistake. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.careappointments.co.uk\/care-news\/england\/item\/36957-father-did-everything-possible-to-obstruct-medway-social-workers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">He complained about Medway Council<\/a><\/strong>. Many parents report the system \u2018biting back&#8217; when they complain. The Council promptly commissioned one Melanie Gill to provide a psychologist&#8217;s report on the father. In this ministry&#8217;s experience, a case in the family court is never complete without a psychiatric report on the parents.<\/p>\n<h2>New Jewish mental condition<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9800\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9800\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/index.php\/father-fighting-medway-council-faces-jail-for-contempt\/melaniegill\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9800\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/melanieGill.jpg\" alt=\"Melanie Gill, inventor of 'Inherited Holocaust Trauma'\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/melanieGill.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/melanieGill-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/melanieGill-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9800\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Melanie Gill, inventor of &#8216;Inherited Holocaust Trauma&#8217;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/melaniegill.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Miss Gill&#8217;s website<\/a><\/strong> claims she specialises \u2018in developmental trauma, attachment science, schema theory, family dynamics, mental health and child and adult forensic assessment&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mindfulpolicygroup.com\/about\/who-we-are\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">She is also well-connected in Parliament<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>EL&#8217;s 84-year-old father happens to have survived the Jewish ghetto in Vinnytsa in Ukraine during WW2.<\/p>\n<p>Although conditions were appalling in the ghetto, the Nazis did not separate families as in the concentration camps and EL&#8217;s father remained with his father and mother.<\/p>\n<p>Out of this, Melanie Gill dreamed up a previously unheard-of condition. She decided EL was suffering from \u2018inherited holocaust trauma&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Because of this imaginary genetic condition, which must affect a huge number of Jewish people, EL was found unfit to care for his son until he had therapy, which no reputable psychiatrist would provide.<\/p>\n<p>The anti-Semitic stance of Medway Council was further in evidence when their social workers refused to allow &#8216;J&#8217; to attend a Passover (Pesach) celebration with his father.<\/p>\n<h2>Care Plan &#8216;not honoured&#8217; by Medway Council<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9801\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9801\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/index.php\/father-fighting-medway-council-faces-jail-for-contempt\/20170116canterbury-009\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9801\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-9801\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170116Canterbury-009-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Some of the Christmas Cards which Medway Council refused to deliver to 'J'\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170116Canterbury-009-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170116Canterbury-009-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170116Canterbury-009-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170116Canterbury-009-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9801\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Some of the Christmas Cards which Medway Council refused to deliver to &#8216;J&#8217;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A care plan allows \u2018EL&#8217; to see \u2018J&#8217; in a \u2018contact centre&#8217; four times a year, although he says Medway do not honour this committment. Father and son are forbidden to speak in their native language and when \u2018EL&#8217; tried to pass a copy of the Human Rights Act to \u2018J&#8217; the social workers objected, saying it was not in \u2018J&#8217;s&#8217; \u2018best interests&#8217; to know his human rights.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018EL&#8217; also says:<br \/>\n* Medway refused to deliver Christmas presents to his son,<br \/>\n* They refused to pass on Christmas cards from family and friends,<br \/>\n* They even refused to allow \u2018J&#8217; to take a phone call from his grandfather,<br \/>\n* Medway refuse to accept that keeping \u2018J&#8217; in care is doing him any harm.<\/p>\n<p>The court heard from Ann Domeney, Deputy Director of Social Care at Medway. She told the court she had seen a Facebook page and some Twitter feed of photographs and other details of \u2018J&#8217; and \u2018EL&#8217; together and the name of a contact centre and its manager.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9802\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9802\" style=\"width: 293px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/index.php\/father-fighting-medway-council-faces-jail-for-contempt\/anndomeny\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9802\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-9802\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/AnnDomeny-293x300.jpg\" alt=\"Social Care Duputy Ann Domeney runs a sideline offering management consultancy to her previous local authority employers.\" width=\"293\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/AnnDomeny-293x300.jpg 293w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/AnnDomeny.jpg 440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 293px) 100vw, 293px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9802\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Social Care Deputy Ann Domeney runs a sideline offering management consultancy to her previous local authority employers.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Is it likely?<\/h2>\n<p>Judge Scarratt can only find \u2018EL&#8217; in contempt of court if what he has published \u2018is likely directly or indirectly to lead to the identification of the child&#8217;. Under cross examination from \u2018EL&#8217;, who represented himself, neither Ann Domeney not Mr Chaloner&#8217;s second witness, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/sarah-cahill-217a46119\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contact centre boss Sarah Cahill<\/a><\/strong>, could think of anyone in the general public who had identified \u2018J&#8217; from the information he posted. The likelihood appears slim.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Scarratt will pass judgment today. \u00a0If he finds \u2018EL&#8217; guilty of contempt of court he will then pass sentence on him. That could range from a conditional discharge to imprisonment. The maximum sentence is two years.<\/p>\n<h2>Post-Script<\/h2>\n<p>As a post-script, it appears Ann Domeney previously worked for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. She has now set up a very lucrative little business, \u2018<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/beta.companieshouse.gov.uk\/company\/07218909\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">A D Children&#8217;s Services Ltd<\/a><\/strong>&#8216; supplying that council with \u2018management consultancy&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>His Honour Judge Scarratt has been criticised and his judgments set aside on at least two occasions in the Court of Appeal for siding with local authorities rather than giving due weight to the evidence of parents. His Honour, \u2018Dickie&#8217; to his friends, has also been up an African mountain fundraising for a charity, of which his wife is a trustee, which provides children&#8217;s home places to local authorities.
