Our prayers for the best candidate for peace in the world to be elected have been answered. \u00a0Just as in the Brexit vote, the polls underestimated ordinary people and their votes.<\/p>\n

Even right now,\u00a0NATO is sabre-rattling against Russia. \u00a0Hillary Clinton would have exacerbated that. \u00a0We now call on President Trump to rein in the Pentagon and its assorted gung-ho generals, arms manufacturers and vested interests in war and make the world a safer place.<\/p>\n

Hillary Clinton was solidly in the Neo-Con camp that gave us the War on Terror, incursions into Afghanistan, hundreds of thousands of deaths in Iraq, the ruin of Libya, the destabilisation of Syria and the rise of first Al-Qaeda then ISIS. \u00a0Her old friend Madeleine Albright urged here to pick a \u2018fight\u2019 with President Putin. \u00a0She would have continued\u00a0the George Soros doctrine of \u2018Responsibility to Protect\u2019 \u2013 or \u2018Excuse to Interfere\u2019, as it should properly be called.<\/p>\n

At this moment, according to the Daily Mail (well, OK, but they have quoted The Times)<\/a><\/strong> NATO chiefs are embarking on a 300,000 troop build-up in Europe and saying: ‘Relations between Russia and the West have plunged in the last year, with Moscow’s insistence on backing its Syrian ally, President Bashar al-Assad, at all costs leading to serious tension with the US, Britain and France.’<\/p>\n

Yes, because those like Cameron, Hague, Hammond and Fallon went along with Soros and the US to agitate for regime change in Syria. \u00a0By supporting and arming the jihadist rebels they have all but destroyed that country and caused thousands of deaths and displacement, the virtual eradication of Christians in areas where the rebels seized control and brought about the European migrant crisis.<\/p>\n

If President Trump engages, as Sean O\u2019Grady thinks he will, writing in the Independent<\/a><\/strong>, in ‘realpolitik\u2019, de-escalation of tension is possible. \u00a0Trump\u00a0understands that Russia offers no threat to the United States (or its allies, for that matter). \u00a0So if the Russians want a naval and an air base in the Med, or a presence on the Black Sea, they can have it.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Powell, former chief of staff to Tony Blair, says his “biggest fear under Trump is the United States will become more isolationist, it will be less willing to intervene in the world than it has been.” \u00a0Yes, exactly! \u00a0It’s great news! \u00a0Just maybe the world might now become a bit more stable.<\/p>\n

Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of the UK Labour Party, has issued a statement in which he called Trump’s victory a “global wake-up call”. \u00a0Does he not understand that the spirit which saw him elected as Labour leader and delivered the Leave vote in the Brexit referendum is the same spirit that elected Donald Trump? \u00a0It’s called, ‘rejection of the global elite and the status quo.’ \u00a0He that sitteth in the heavens is laughing this morning (Psalm 2!).<\/p>\n

Praise God today for answered prayer. \u00a0And pray for protection and wisdom for President-elect Trump.<\/p>\n
