Three children taken into care by Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council on the strength of a false allegation of sexual abuse<\/a><\/strong> were\u00a0returned home yesterday.<\/p>\n

Walsall’s decision to return the children came after their barrister Richard Hadley reviewed the evidence in the case following a failed prosecution of the family’s eldest boys in Wolverhampton Crown Court<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A High Court hearing later this month will rubber-stamp the decision.<\/p>\n

This wonderful result is a massive answer to the prayers of our members.<\/p>\n

We have been following and reporting on the case all through this year, and the Lord has used our intervention finally to bring justice.<\/p>\n

When this author turned up to cover the case in the family court in February of this year,\u00a0the\u00a0judge and the advocates ran\u00a0around like scalded cats. \u00a0The judge granted the local authority an astonishing six-week adjournment to consider their position in the light of a journalist turning up. \u00a0It was that initial six-week delay for Walsall to consider its position that led inexorably to the criminal case finally catching up with the\u00a0civil case and justice being done. \u00a0Delay followed delay as the hand of the Lord was heavily on the whole matter.<\/p>\n

It is humbling to realise that if I had not turned up that day an adoption order for the children would have been made earlier this year. \u00a0But my intervention was merely one of the things the Lord used.<\/p>\n
