The world\u2019s movers and shakers met from 9th to 12th June 2016 in Germany behind tight armed security<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Chaired by Henri de Castries, Chairman and CEO of the giant AXA insurance group, it was the first time for a while that the men with the money were seriously worried.<\/p>\n

The top\u001esecret, four\u001eday meeting was held in Dresden.\u00a0 A handful of protesters turned up to shout at the powerful bankers, politicians, corporate CEOs, tame academics and media insiders on the invite list<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Bilderberg, named after the Dutch hotel where the group first met in 1954, says it was \u2018designed to foster dialogue between Europe and North America\u2019.\u00a0 Its website is a recent innovation.\u00a0 Up until ten years ago journalists had to find out the annual guest list from staff at the latest venue. \u00a0Leading members have included Dennis Healey, Kenneth Clarke, Peter, Lord Carrington, the Irishman Peter Sutherland and Henry Kissinger.<\/p>\n

The website says of its meetings<\/a><\/strong>: \u2018There is no desired outcome, no minutes are taken and no report is written. Furthermore, no resolutions are proposed, no votes are taken, and no policy statements are issued.\u2019<\/p>\n

Bilderberg is the primary concentrated gathering of the world\u2019s elite.\u00a0 The annual meetings take place under what is known as the \u2018Chatham House rule\u2019 which was invented by London\u2019s Royal Institute of International Affairs.\u00a0 This says \u2018Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.\u2019<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s official agenda was<\/a><\/strong>:<\/p>\n

1 Current events, 2 China, 3 Europe: migration, growth, reform, vision, unity, 4 Middle East, 5 Russia, 6 US political landscape, economy: growth, debt, reform, 7 Cyber security, 8 Geo\u001epolitics of energy and commodity prices, 9 Precariat and middle class, 10 Technological innovation.<\/p>\n

WORRIES ABOUT BREXIT AND TRUMP<\/h3>\n

Behind (3) were worries about the UK\u2019s Brexit vote.\u00a0 All of a sudden, the elite had realised that the European Union needed reform, vision and unity.\u00a0 Were they concerned about migration?\u00a0 Or is flooding Europe with jihadists part of the plan for greater restrictions on freedom?\u00a0 As for \u2018growth\u2019, there you have it, from the horse\u2019s mouth.\u00a0 The EU is an empire which must keep expanding.<\/p>\n

Their other big worry is Donald Trump.\u00a0 He may not be a very nice man, but he is anti-establishment.\u00a0 He is not an insider, not \u2018one of us\u2019.\u00a0 Unlike Hilary Clinton (Bill was chosen as US President by Bilderberg and Hilary\u2019s chief adviser Jim Messina was at the conference last year) Trump is not someone they can control.\u00a0 The \u2018US political landscape\u2019 has really put the wind up them.\u00a0 How can they stop Trump?<\/p>\n

Russia was on the agenda, because presenting President Vladimir Putin as an aggressor and a threat is a key part of the game right now.\u00a0 But then, the disadvantaged \u2018precariat\u2019 and the middle class could spoil the whole globalist project.<\/p>\n

TRANSATLANTIC<\/h3>\n

Delegates came only from Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United States and world bodies.\u00a0 There was no-one from Central or South America, Eastern Europe, the Middle or Far East, the Antipodes or Africa.\u00a0 Bilderberg is exclusively trans-Atlantic.<\/p>\n

\"US<\/a>
US Secretary of State John Kerry will tour\u00a0the world telling the lesser beings what the elite expect.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After it has deliberated, US Secretary of State John Kerry will be sent around the world to tell the leaders of lesser nations what to do.\u00a0 After the 2002 meeting, his predecessor Colin Powell was despatched to India and Pakistan to tell them not to go to war over Kashmir.\u00a0 Both backed down immediately.\u00a0 The June 2002 Bilderberg meeting was the turning point.\u00a0 Welcome to the New World Order.<\/p>\n

Present this year were Ryanair\u2019s Michael O\u2019Leary, ex\u001eCIA chief David Petraeus, the King of the Netherlands, the IMF\u2019s Christine Lagarde, Philip Breedlove (Former Supreme Commander of NATO), Beno\u00eet Coeur\u00e9 of the European Central Bank and Kristalina Georgieva, Vice President of the European Commission, the EU\u2019s foreign minister.<\/p>\n

There were current or former ministers of finance from Canada, Germany, Ireland, Portugal and Sweden.\u00a0 Money is important to the group.\u00a0 There were prime ministers from Belgium and Holland and the deputy PM of Turkey.\u00a0 In total, perhaps a couple of dozen politicians, a handful of academics and half-a dozen journalists and editors came to hear what the bankers and industrialists want to happen.<\/p>\n

British academic Guy Standing thinks ‘the precariat’ are ‘dangerous’. ‘To whom?’ one may ask.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

GB CONTINGENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

The GB contingent illustrates the point.\u00a0 Present were Marcus Agius, Chairman of PA Consulting Group (formerly chairman of Barclays), Douglas Flint, Group Chairman of HSBC Holdings plc, Dido Harding, CEO of TalkTalk Telecom Group plc, Demis Hassabis, Co\u001eFounder and CEO of DeepMind, the artificial intelligence company, John, Lord Kerr, Deputy Chairman of Scottish Power, and John Sawers, former head of MI6, now Chairman and Partner of Macro Advisory (the \u2018strategic insight\u2019 people).<\/p>\n

Guy Standing, Co\u001ePresident of the Basic Income Earth Network and Research Professor at the University of London was the academic.\u00a0 He has written on the \u2019precariat\u2019<\/a><\/strong>, describing them as ‘dangerous’. \u00a0‘Political populism’ which appeals to them ‘must be challenged’, he writes, in words every Bilderberger would approve. \u00a0His views recently became a book<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Zanny Minton Beddoes, Editor\u001ein\u001eChief of The Economist and Martin H. Wolf, Chief Economics Commentator at the Financial Times were the GB media contingent.\u00a0 Don\u2019t expect them to write anything about it, although Wolf is very concerned that \u2018nativist populists\u2019 must not win.\u00a0 The only GB politician this year was Labour MP Helen Goodman, a minister under Gordon Brown and now a member of the Treasury Select Committee.<\/p>\n

We can be certain of one thing:: whatever the Bilderbergers have discussed, their schemes will benefit them first and the rest of us a long way second.\u00a0 But also be certain of this: the Lord will have the final word.<\/p>\n
