Islam is the fastest-growing religion in Britain. But who or what do Muslims worship? Is their “Allah”, an Arabic expression which means ‘the god’, the same being as the Lord God of the Bible?<\/p>\n

Is Allah Almighty God?<\/p>\n

Muslims certainly claim to worship the same god as Abraham did. They claim Allah’s continuity with the God of the Bible. And of course you will find politicians and multi-faith pundits also saying, ‘Christians and Muslims worship the same God!’ But is such a view tenable?<\/p>\n

In around four minutes and\u00a0by the grace of God we look at the scriptures in which the Father speaks of the Lord Jesus as his \u2019beloved son\u2019 and where the Lord and his apostles confirmed his identity. We compare this evidence with that of the Quran, in which Allah denies having a son (a bit beneath his dignity, he says).<\/p>\n
