Sodomy!\u00a0 A 300,000 Euro grant for the promotion of gay rights in Cameroon has led to a diplomatic rift, Christian Voice has discovered.\u00a0 It predates <a href=\"http:\/\/christianvoiceuk.blogspot.com\/2011\/07\/reject-camerons-cultural-imperialism.html\">David Cameron&#8217;s declaration<\/a>, exposed on this blog, that he will use British aid to promote homosexuality in Africa and the Caribbean.\u00a0 The European Union gave the grant in January to a group of pro-gay organisations led by Cameroon&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.africareview.com\/News\/-\/979180\/1091068\/-\/i6bclxz\/-\/index.html\">Association to Defend Homosexuals (ADEFHO)<\/a>.But Cameroon&#8217;s Foreign Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi immediately summoned the head of the EU delegation in Cameroon, Raoul Mateus Paula, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.africanactivist.org\/2011\/01\/cameroon-officially-protests-eu-funding.html\">for a ten minute meeting<\/a>to protest against the funding of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) groups that &#8220;violate the laws of Cameroon.&#8221;The award of the grant has also prompted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.africanactivist.org\/2011\/01\/cameroonian-activist-alice-nkom-fears.html\">calls for the arrest<\/a> of lawyer Alice Nkom who founded ADEFHO.\u00a0 However, it appears the Cameroon Government may itself have recognised ADEFHO\u00a0as long ago as 2003.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/2011-05-04_082344.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-816\" title=\"2011-05-04_082344\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/2011-05-04_082344.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"178\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a>The grant award will no doubt make Alice Nkom wealthy and increase her visibility but if anything it has created a more hostile environment for homosexuals in Cameroon.\u00a0 In January, three men were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.africanactivist.org\/2011\/04\/three-arrested-in-cameroon-for.html\">arrested in Cameroon and charged<\/a> with committing homosexual acts.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2011, another three were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kwalai.com\/toute-lactu-minute-by-minute\/societe\/9901-en-pleine-fellation-trois-homosexuels-se-font-interpeller\">arrested for acts of gross indecency<\/a> in a car.<\/p>\n<p>PRAY that Almighty God will reveal the extent of the European Union&#8217;s attempts to undermine Christian morality in Africa.\u00a0 Ask your MEP (<a
