Or has Mr Lowe grasped a true spiritual nettle? There\u2019s no need to offer a hostage to fortune there.<\/p>\n<p>The one does not follow from the other, except in simplistic leftist dogma. Grown-up theology on asylum is complicated. In any case we are talking more about migration, we might even say \u2018invasion\u2019, than \u2018asylum\u2019.<\/p>\n<h2>Where is Christianity?<\/h2>\n<p>I was surprised to find no mention of Christianity in Restore\u2019s other sections, not even under \u2018Restore Civil Liberties\u2019 or \u2018Restore a Pro-British Education System\u2019. The latter failed to denounce antichristian LGBT propaganda in sex and relationships education.<\/p>\n<p>The former had no mention of police arrests of Christian preachers. However, under <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.restorebritain.org.uk\/cultural_identity_social_issues\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>\u2018Restore Britain\u2019s Social and Cultural Foundations\u2019<\/b><\/a> we do find five mentions of \u2018Christian\u2019, all under teaching history in schools.<\/p>\n<p>It claims: \u2018British Christians now have a political party that represents their views and stands ready to act on them.\u2019 Do we? I didn\u2019t see it anywhere else to be honest.<\/p>\n<p>They go on: \u2018We are an historically Christian country, guided by Christian morality.\u2019 Then there is some back-tracking:\u00a0\u2018A Restore Britain government would honour those moral traditions\u2019, but \u2018not for the purposes of religious instruction so much as historical literacy\u2019 and \u2018understanding our national story\u2019.<\/p>\n<h2>Islamisation<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Muslims-in-the-UK.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2910\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Muslims-in-the-UK-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Muslims-in-the-UK-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Muslims-in-the-UK.jpg 540w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The next section says Restore Britain would ban the burqa and the niqab, but only because they \u2018are fundamentally un-British\u2019 and \u2018undignified\u2019 (\u2018The dignity of women and girls must not be sacrificed on the altar of multiculturalism\u2019), not because they are advertising an aggressive, competing, antisemitic, antichristian religious and political system.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018A Restore Britain government\u2019 we read, \u2018would reverse the Islamisation of Britain\u2019. Much could be said there, but strangely isn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>The policy moves straight on to ritual slaughter.<\/p>\n<h2>Ritual Slaughter<\/h2>\n<p>Restore would ban, they say, both \u2018Halal and Kosher Slaughter\u2019. They say: \u2018Slitting an animal\u2019s throat and letting it bleed to death in the most unimaginable pain is morally repugnant.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Number 1: Scripture says: <b>Prov 12:10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.<\/b> In the light of that, is Mr Lowe seriously saying the Jewish people have indulged in animal cruelty for millennia?<\/p>\n<p>Number 2: Although the <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/halalhmc.org\/resources\/issues-of-mechanical-slaughter-and-stunning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Halal Monitoring Committee<\/b><\/a> maintains a no-stunning policy, the rival <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/halalfoodauthority.com\/faqs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Halal Food Authority<\/b><\/a> allows the use of electrical pre-slaughter stunning. So Restore have not done their homework.<\/p>\n<p>They even claim: \u2018If a British farmer treated an animal in this way, he would be prosecuted. There must be one rule for all, with no religious exemptions.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>I agree with one rule for all. That\u2019s scriptural: <b>Exodus 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>But I am a farmer. And I can tell you slaughtering on the farm for public consumption is not allowed at all.<\/p>\n<h2>Antisemitism dialed up to eleven<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_37366\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37366\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Rupert-Lowe.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-37366\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Rupert-Lowe-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"Rupert Lowe MP\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Rupert-Lowe-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Rupert-Lowe.jpg 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-37366\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rupert Lowe MP<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>So Number 3: Their policy would not eliminate Halal slaughter, but it would end Schechita, Jewish ritual slaughter.<\/p>\n<p>Number 4: With all the antisemitism being heaped upon Britain\u2019s Jews by the Islamo-left, (<a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/index.php\/nakba-vs-unite-the-kingdom-which-did-starmer-denounce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>see our recent article Nakba vs Unite the Kingdom&#8217;<\/strong><\/a>) do they really need it dialed up to eleven from Restore Britain?<\/p>\n<p>What Mr Lowe is missing is that halal slaughter is not an animal welfare issue. It\u2019s a spiritual issue.<\/p>\n<p>Halal slaughter is antichristian because of the Shahada (or \u2018Tasmiyah\u2019) chanted at the point of slaughter. So what of the other two main parties of the political right? <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.premierchristianity.com\/opinion\/reform-uk-will-protect-britains-churches-and-our-proud-history-of-religious-freedom-for-all\/21148.article\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Reform say they also<\/b><\/a> have \u2018a desire to restore Britain\u2019s Judeo-Christian heritage as a core pillar of British identity, culture, and national policy\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>And <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/kemibadenoch\/photos\/britain-was-built-on-a-foundation-of-christian-values-that-have-guided-our-insti\/1509326840560021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch<\/b><\/a> also maintains that Britain is fundamentally a Christian nation, with laws, institutions, and values \u2018deeply rooted in Christian heritage\u2019. She wants this \u2018cultural and moral foundation\u2019 to \u2018be actively promoted and protected\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>So there is not much to choose between them, in my humble opinion.<\/p>\n<h2>Assert our Christian constitution<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_32940\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-32940\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/King-BIble.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-32940\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/King-BIble-300x155.jpg\" alt=\"His Majesty King Charles III kisses the Bible at his Coronation in May 2023\" width=\"300\" height=\"155\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/King-BIble-300x155.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/King-BIble-1024x529.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/King-BIble-768x397.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/King-BIble-750x388.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/King-BIble-600x310.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/King-BIble.jpg 1321w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-32940\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">His Majesty King Charles III kisses the Bible at his Coronation in May 2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>What we are waiting for is the political leader <u>prepared to assert our Christian constitution<\/u>, exemplified in the coronation of King Charles in Westminster Abbey on 6th May 2023. For that matter, of every king and queen of this nation for over a thousand years.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s more than claiming the odd policy is \u2018Christian\u2019. It\u2019s about authority, about returning to our nation\u2019s Christian roots, about breaking out of the doomed secularist loop of the past sixty years.<\/p>\n<p>If you see that as well, then join us in praying for God to raise up an able, humble, truthful, honest leader (Exod 18:21) who will proclaim Jesus Christ as King of kings over this United Kingdom. When one of them starts to do that, we\u2019ll be cooking on gas.<\/p>\n<p>Now we\u2019ll have a coherent reason to ban the burqa and niqab, end sharia courts, clear halal meat out of schools and prisons, stop the Muslim invasion, and to invite any Muslim, or secularist, who dislikes our Christian heritage to relocate somewhere more amenable to them.<\/p>\n<h2>God longs to honour a godly leader<\/h2>\n<p>Will the Almighty grant Nigel, Richard, Kemi, or someone else entirely, the grace and courage to honour him in that way?<\/p>\n<p>The word of God says clearly: <b>1Sam 2:30b &#8230; them that honour me I will honour,<\/b><\/p>\n<p>When that leader stands up with that declaration, he, or she, can expect God to honour them, and grant them both spiritual authority and electoral success.
