Warnings are mounting against government’s determination to impose an official definition of so-called \u201cIslamophobia.\u201d<\/p>\n
A senior King\u2019s Counsel (KC) and government adviser has already cautioned that such a definition would hinder police investigations<\/b><\/a> into Muslim offenders.<\/p>\n And, writing in The Times<\/b><\/a>, Shadow Equalities Minister Claire Coutinho warned that Labour\u2019s plan would risk shutting down debate about the grooming gangs scandal, giving cover to abusers rather than justice to victims.<\/p>\n So, is Islamophobia ban a gift to criminals and extremists?<\/p>\n Petition: Oppose the The moment we use \u201cIslamophobia\u201d as though it were a neutral term, we concede ground.
