And would you believe it, Miatta Fahnbulleh MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary at Ed Miliband\u2019s Department of Energy Insecurity and Net Zero Fanaticism, was previously <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/neweconomics.org\/profile\/miatta-fahnbulleh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Chief Executive<\/b><\/a> of the New Economics Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s a member of SERA &#8211; Labour\u2019s Environment Campaign, and <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/list-of-ministers-interests\/list-of-ministers-interests-may-2025-html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>on a Government page she tells us<\/b><\/a> \u2018a family member works for Renewables UK.\u2019 Are you surprised? Many, if not all, of them are also supporting the climate change lobby. But many of the funders of NEON are already known to us as funders of abortion, homosexual and trans lobby groups, actively working against God\u2019s institution of the family, even against his creation of us as male and female or against human life itself.<\/p>\n<p>For example, its leading funder <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/gfsc.studio\/blog\/2024\/trans-organisers-fund-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Lankelly Chase<\/b><\/a> has also backed Greater Manchester Trans Organisers Fund and the LGBT Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>NEON patron George Soros\u2019s Open Society Foundation also lavishly funds the pro-gay KELIN NGO and UHAI East African Sexual Health and Rights Initiative lurking in Kenya. Oak supports countless initiatives to legalise sodomy and transgenderism across the developing world.<\/p>\n<p>NEON patron The William &amp; Flora Hewlett Foundation has also given $1.5 million to International Planned Parenthood, the world\u2019s leading abortionist, as well as grants for \u2018Queer Studies\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; color: #ffff00; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none; border-radius: 9px; background-color: #800080; border-top: 9px solid #800080; border-bottom: 9px solid #800080; border-right: 18px solid #800080; border-left: 18px solid #800080; display: inline-block;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stewardship.org.uk\/pages\/nccss\">Support NCCSS \/ Christian Voice \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Lottery tops list of UK LGBT funders<\/h2>\n<p>In 2023, NEON patron the Paul Hamlyn Foundation was actually ahead of Oak Foundation, but behind the UK Government, the Scottish Government, Children in Need, the Arts Council and the National Lottery in a <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.consortium.lgbt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/LGBT-Fund-Report-11-GG.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>list of UK organisations<\/b><\/a> who splashed money to LGBT groups. Paul Hamlyn gave NEON \u00a350,000, but \u00a3775,000 to LGBT causes.<\/p>\n<p>The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust gave NEON \u00a385,000 and LGBT groups \u00a3400,000 in the same year.<\/p>\n<p>Well, they can run on for a long time, as Johnny Cash sang, but sooner or later:<br \/>\n<strong>Psa 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Psa 2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>New Economics<\/h2>\n<p>Both NEF and NEON campaign for <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/neweconomics.org\/about\/our-missions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>\u2018A new social settlement\u2019<\/b><\/a>, which \u2018will ensure people are paid well, have more time off to spend with their families, and have access to the things we all need for a decent life\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>A Marxist utopian dream like that would cost you and every other taxpayer a lot of money. It\u2019s a counterfeit of the Biblical millennial vision:<br \/>\n<strong>Micah 4:4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You need to be very afraid of the WEF\u2019s \u2018Green New Deal\u2019, which <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/neweconomics.org\/about\/our-missions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>NEF and NEON<\/b><\/a> say will \u2018reduce the carbon we emit and massively boost nature, while creating a new generation of jobs\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Do they know they are lying? They must do. The Bible says:<br \/>\n<strong>Psa 101:7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>net Zero is destroying the environment<\/h2>\n<p>Here is the truth: The Net Zero fantasy is currently destroying the environment. Look at the prime forests being cut down to provide wood chip for the Drax power station, or the devastation which mining for cobalt and lithium for batteries is causing.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Green New Deal is destroying British jobs and whole industries together with our food and energy security and our defence capabilities. So, of course, is the current unfettered illegal immigration by young Muslim men of fighting age so loved by the likes of NEON\u2019s Zoe Gardner.<\/p>\n<p>NEON also want a \u2018democratic economy\u2019 to devolve state power and transform ownership of the economy to give us all an equal stake in the places where we live and work\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t know what they think \u2018the economy\u2019 is. But the economy is not a mystery. It is inherently democratic, if governments would only keep their state-controlling fingers out of it. The landowner in the Lord\u2019s parable articulated a biblical principle which strikes down mandates for electric cars and heat pumps:<br \/>\n<strong>Matt 20:15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own?<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>The truth about \u2018the market\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>The market is, or should be, people freely buying and selling goods and services.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s the Biblical understanding existing from the dawn of time, even in Sodom during the days of Lot, so the Lord Jesus taught:<br \/>\n<strong>Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Lord uses so many metaphors about buying and selling, and he famously overturned the tables of the corrupt cartels fleecing the people in the temple in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n<p>NEON claim the economy has been \u2018redesigned over the past 40 years in favour of the market rather than people and planet.\u2019 It\u2019s nonsense.
