He is currently at the centre of an employment tribunal brought by nurse Sandie Peggie against NHS Fife.<\/p>\n<p>Nurse Sandie claims she was subjected to unlawful harassment by being made to share a changing room at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, with Dr Upton, who insists on using the women\u2019s changing room despite being genetically and legally a man.<\/p>\n<p>His real name is Theodore Benedict Onni Upton. He is still on the GMC\u2019s books under that name, with reference number 7844321. But his registration page says sternly:<\/p>\n<p>\u2018This person is not on the Medical Register and may not practise as a doctor in the UK\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s not actually true. The GMC is not being honest with us.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Opens in a new tab\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stewardship.org.uk\/pages\/nccss\" style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; color: #ffff00; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none; border-radius: 9px; background-color: #800080; border-top: 9px solid #800080; border-bottom: 9px solid #800080; border-right: 18px solid #800080; border-left: 18px solid #800080; display: inline-block;\">Support NCCSS \/ Christian Voice \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Conflicting medical register entries<\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Upton is indeed on the medical register, as Elisabeth Ruth Annikki Upton, with a brand new GMC reference number of 8038543.<\/p>\n<p>His designated body is NHS Fife, and his qualifications and registration dates coincide exactly with those on his Theodore entry.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Theodore Upton and Dr Beth Upton are the same person, with two separate GMC registration pages, one of which is telling us he can practice as a doctor, while the other is saying he can\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; color: #ffff00; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none; border-radius: 5px; background-color: #1f7f4c; border-top: 9px solid #1F7F4C; border-bottom: 9px solid #1F7F4C; border-right: 18px solid #1F7F4C; border-left: 18px solid #1F7F4C; display: inline-block;\" title=\"Opens in a new tab\" href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/index.php\/arrange-a-meeting-at-your-church\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ask us to come and speak at your church \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Past misdoings wiped away<\/h2>\n<p>In fact, he is among 62 doctors to be given a new GMC registration under a new GMC number, according to the <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2025\/02\/22\/disciplinary-records-trans-doctors-will-be-public-gmc-nhs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Telegraph<\/b><\/a>, which revealed this medical scandal.<\/p>\n<p>There is no suggestion that Dr Upton has any previous suspensions or formal warnings. But a doctor who had been warned or suspended could claim to have a new gender and under his new GMC number all that would be forgotten.<\/p>\n<p>The GMC confirmed to <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2025\/02\/20\/doctors-change-gender-scrub-records\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>The Telegraph<\/b><\/a> that new records for medics who change gender will be wiped of previous misdoings.<\/p>\n<h2>Who voted for the GMC?<\/h2>\n<p>So who are the exalted members of the General Medical Council allowing this outrage? Who voted for them?<\/p>\n<p>Well the last question is easy to answer. There is no vote, neither from the public, nor from their fellow doctors.<\/p>\n<p>The six doctors and six lay members of the GMC Council are appointed by the Privy Council, that\u2019s every politician who has ever become a minister of State and been made a Right Honorable. But here it becomes murky.<\/p>\n<p>There are currently, in February 2025, seven hundred and forty-five Right Honourables. That\u2019s a lot. So there are advisory committees which decide who receives all the appointments, and the Privy Council then rubber stamps those decisions.<\/p>\n<h2>Meet the Council<\/h2>\n<p>Thus it is that we find the <a title=\"Opens in a new tab\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gmc-uk.org\/about\/who-we-are\/our-council\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>GMC Council<\/strong><\/a> are all members of the so-called \u2018great and good\u2019. They are those whose faces fit in the circles of the elite.<\/p>\n<p>The Chair is Professor Dame Carrie MacEwen, a consultant ophthalmologist for NHS Tayside and Honorary Professor at the University of Dundee. \u2018Carrie (we read) has served on several committees\u2019 and been an \u2018advisor to the Scottish Chief Medical Officer\u2019 for over a decade. Of course she has.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s Professor Keith Lloyd of Swansea Bay University Health Board, a former Vice-President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.<\/p>\n<h2>Do not try trans ideology on in Lagos!<\/h2>\n<p>We have Dr Olamide Oguntimehin, founder and Chief Executive of Melanin Medics, Trustee of the Medical Women&#8217;s Federation, Member of the GMC Equality and Diversity Advisory Board and the BMA EDI Advisory Group. Not bad for someone who only qualified in 2021 and who is still a junior doctor.<\/p>\n<p>She is also &#8216;fostering inclusive environments, championing equity and improving opportunities for under-represented groups in healthcare&#8217; &#8230;Including transgenders? Honestly, Ola, don\u2019t try that on in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>And I have to point out that black or Asian medics make up exactly half of the GMC Council\u2019s doctor contingent.<\/p>\n<h2>MBE\u2019s, Chairs and Insiders<\/h2>\n<p>Dr Raj Patel MBE is another establishment insider, a previous Medical Director of Primary Care for NHS England and NHS Improvement, etc, etc. MBE for services to healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Rajiv Wijesuriya is Clinical Advisor to the National Vaccination and Screening programme and to the Primary Care team at NHS England. Would it stretch the imagination to envisage this internationalist advancing the causes of abortion and transgenderism across the world?<\/p>\n<h2>GMC lay members out of the same drawer<\/h2>\n<p>The six lay members of the GMC are all out of the same establishment drawer.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Vanessa Davies has been an academic linguist, a senior civil servant in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and deputy CEO for a legal aid charity working in refugee and asylum and immigration law.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Deepa Mann-Kler specialises in Immersive Futures with Ulster University. Well, someone has to. She\u2019s director of the Public Health Agency NI and the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Deepa is a TEDx speaker and a thought leader with a value basis, it says, &#8216;firmly grounded in technology for good, equity, diversity, inclusion with positive social impact&#8217;. I don\u2019t begin to know what all that means, but it sounds jolly woke and worthy.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Douglas Millican is Chair of World Vision UK, and believes strongly in the power of effective regulation. Apparently, he feels a close affinity with the GMC\u2019s role in protecting patients. But then, I do not breathe the rarified air in the GMC boardroom, do I?<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, Wendy Williams CBE, Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS North East, His Majesty\u2019s Inspector of Constabulary and Fire Services, author of the Windrush Report, Non-executive Director of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, a member of the parliamentary Independent Expert Panel, and a member of Advisory Boards for the Universities of Cambridge AND Oxford.
