Lambeth Palace, home and office of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and Buckingham Palace are in dispute over the inclusion of other faiths. The row is the reason why, just over two weeks from the event, the order of service has not yet been published.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; color: #ffffff; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none; border-radius: 9px; background-color: #800080; border-top: 9px solid #800080; border-bottom: 9px solid #800080; border-right: 18px solid #800080; border-left: 18px solid #800080; display: inline-block;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stewardship.org.uk\/pages\/cv01\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Support Christian Voice \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Christian Service<\/h2>\n<p>The king wants a selection of other faith leaders involved, chiefly a Muslim imam or two. The Archbishop is insisting that the coronation is a Christian service governed by the rules of the established church.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/anglican.ink\/2023\/04\/09\/cofe-king-charles-at-odds-over-other-faiths-at-coronation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>AnglicanInk reports<\/b><\/a>: \u2018Charles famously declared his wish to be \u201cDefender of Faith\u201d rather than simply \u201cDefender of the Faith\u201d nearly thirty years ago. It is expected that the Coronation will be more religiously and culturally diverse than the late Queen\u2019s 1953 service. However, Church leaders are reportedly resisting a more active role for other faith leaders given that the event is Anglican in nature and a constitutional affair.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore: \u2018Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell have both stated that the Coronation \u201cat its centre is a Christian service\u2026 rooted in long-standing tradition and Christian symbolism.\u201d Archbishop Welby is reportedly giving the King \u201creligious guidance\u201d on the significance of his oath, the commitments he will make to his subjects, and the Christian symbolism of the regalia.\u2019 All of that proclaims:<\/p>\n<p><b>Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>If the king himself wants that blessing upon his nation he will not taint his coronation by including in it those who assert the supremacy of a pagan deity and\/or deny the divinity of the King of kings.<\/p>\n<h2>Whose decision is it?<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7466\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7466\" style=\"width: 460px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Justin-Welby-010.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7466 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Justin-Welby-010.jpg\" alt=\"Rt Rev Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury\" width=\"460\" height=\"276\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Justin-Welby-010.jpg 460w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Justin-Welby-010-300x180.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7466\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rt Rev Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It is the Archbishop who is responsible for the Order of Service. Westminster Abbey is a \u201croyal peculiar\u201d because it is under the jurisdiction of the British monarch and not the Church of England. Nevertheless, it remains an Anglican church, with a Church of England dean in charge.<\/p>\n<p>The Abbey is subject to the canon laws of the Church of England. Canon law bars Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, and other faith leaders from reading prayers during the service. In that regard canon law follows the prophecy of Isaiah:<\/p>\n<p><b>Isa 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.<\/b> (\u2018The Lord\u2019 is the KJV translation of the actual name of God: YHWH)<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, a meeting was held at Lambeth Palace last month. Reports said \u2018The drafting of the order of service was conducted with \u201cscrupulous regard\u201d for the opinions of Anglican clergy\u2019, whatever that means.<\/p>\n<p>The aim was to publish the Order of Service \u201cbefore Easter, with suitable guidance for the clergy.\u201d What does that mean? But where is the Order of Service?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Here we are, barely two weeks away from a national event of huge significance, and the king\u2019s determination to be inclusive and <a title=\"Opens in a new tab\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spiked-online.com\/2023\/04\/11\/charles-the-identitarian\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>identitarian<\/strong><\/a> has put a massive spanner in the works.<\/p>\n<p>Right now, scaffolders are erecting staging outside Westminster Abbey so people, presumably a select few, can have a view of the king&#8217;s procession. Yet he cannot humble himself to agree how the service itself will be constructed.<\/p>\n<p>On a separate note, <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/royal-family\/2023\/04\/14\/coronets-robes-peers-aristocracy-banned-king-coronation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>the Daily Telegraph reports<\/b><\/a> how the red and ermine robes of the nobility coupled with coronets denoting their rank made the late queen\u2019s coronation such a spectacle. However, they have been forbidden to wear them this time around. Only a handful have been invited in any case. They are expected to turn up in lounge suits.<\/p>\n<p>His majesty, whether advised by his ministers or not, appears to be developing the knack of offending everyone at once. There appears not to be an applecart which should not be upset, contrary to scripture, which urges respect for the past:<\/p>\n<p><b>Prov 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2>Communion service<\/h2>\n<p>As <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.royal.uk\/coronation-weekend-plans-announced\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>the Palace website goes so far as to say<\/b><\/a>: \u2018The Coronation is a solemn religious service, as well as an occasion for celebration and pageantry.\u2019 Why did the Palace put \u2018religious\u2019 rather than\u2018Christian\u2019?<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.westminster-abbey.org\/about-the-abbey\/history\/coronations-at-the-abbey\/spotlight-on-coronations\/order-of-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Westminster Abbey tells it as it is<\/b><\/a>: \u2018The order of service is a reminder that coronations take place within a Communion service or Eucharist. The anointing follows Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anointing Solomon, as George Handel\u2019s great anthem, \u2018Zadok the Priest\u2019, proclaims:<\/p>\n<p><b>1Kings 1:39 And Zadok the priest took an horn of oil out of the tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. On top of that, <a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.royal.uk\/coronation-invitation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>As the Royal website itself displays<\/b><\/a>, the formal invitations to the Coronation prominently feature, almost as a foundation, the mythical \u2018Green Man\u2019, the pagan representation of fertility. Away from the historic coats of arms, in the design itself there is not a cross in sight.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Opens in a new tab or window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.historic-uk.com\/CultureUK\/The-Green-Man\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Historic UK reports<\/b><\/a> how stonemasons used to sneak in a representation of the \u2018green man\u2019 on ancient churches: \u2018Pre-Christian pagan traditions and superstitions, particularly those related to nature and tree worship, were still influential in the early Middle Ages.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>A writer on Wikipedia is even more explicit: \u2018For many modern pagans, the Green Man is used as a symbol of seasonal renewal and ecological awareness. In Wicca, the Green Man has often been used as a representation of the Horned God, a syncretic deity that incorporates aspects of, among others, the Celtic Cernunnos and the Greek Pan.\u2019<\/p>\n<h2>Pray!<\/h2>\n<p>The row over the order of service is revealing a lot of rather uncomfortable views held by king Charles. It is our prophetic duty to call on him to repent.
