All the\u00a0unsuspecting man did was write a column headed:<\/p>\n

‘Loud and proud gays want to take over rest of society’<\/a><\/p>\n

Eamon Delaney said ‘Increasingly, it seems as if the homosexual community has forgotten that it is the minority’ with its demands for gay marriage, adoption, children’s birth certificates falsified to show two ‘mothers’ or two ‘fathers’, etc, etc.<\/p>\n

And it is as if the wrath of Juno has landed on his head.\u00a0 The column, in the Irish Independent, attracted over 500 comments in a week, the vast bulk of them adverse.<\/p>\n

Just google ‘Eamon Delany gay’<\/a> and see how viral the whole thing went.\u00a0 But some are standing up for him, with the Irish Iona Institute<\/a> (not to be confused with a similar sounding body this side of the Irish Sea) among the best.<\/p>\n

This is in a country which did not even legalise sodomy until 1995.\u00a0 Just sixteen years later and righteousness cannot even raise its voice, just like Lot in Sodom.\u00a0 And look at what is happening in the UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What a lesson to African and Caribbean countries to keep their anti-sodomy laws, as Shirley Richards has pointed out in a very articulate and well-researched article in the Jamaica Gleaner<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you let the camel get his nose inside the tent, pretty soon you have the unwelcome company of his backside.<\/p>\n
