But does growing it turn your vegetable garden into a Kremlin plot?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>If you are already a member of Christian Voice, you do not need a secret Russian communications system. \u00a0Simply send a stamped addressed envelope to the Christian Voice office for your seeds.<\/p>\n<p>We shall also send at least a hundred Russian Kale seeds to every new member who joins in August.<\/p>\n<p>Both offers will be subject to first come first served. \u00a0When the seed runs out, that&#8217;s it until next year.<\/p>\n<p>Growing Russian Kale does of course raise suspicions over a possible direct connection to the Kremlin. \u00a0It will be no surprise if President Putin has personally authorised every Russian Kale seed and sent them out to meddle in vegetable plots across the West. \u00a0Expect a US Senate Committee to confirm this attack on our bland way of life very soon. \u00a0Well, the name gives it away, doesn&#8217;t it? \u00a0It&#8217;s Russian Kale, after all. \u00a0It must be dangerous to NATO and its military complex.<\/p>\n<p>But all I know is, it&#8217;s prolific and tasty. \u00a0We shred the mature leaves finely and simply stir-fry in olive oil or butter. \u00a0Or you can add young leaves to salad. \u00a0Plant now, and you will just about get a crop before winter. \u00a0Wait for the spring, and you&#8217;ll have veg for months. \u00a0Your garden needs a Russian reset.<\/p>\n<h2>Attack on Nord Stream 2<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10940\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10940\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/index.php\/russian-kale-donald-trump-cannot-grow\/paul-craig-roberts\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-10940\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10940\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Paul-Craig-Roberts-300x207.jpg\" alt=\"Paul Craig Roberts\" width=\"400\" height=\"276\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Paul-Craig-Roberts-300x207.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Paul-Craig-Roberts-600x413.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.christianvoice.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Paul-Craig-Roberts.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10940\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Paul Craig Roberts<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Meanwhile, across the pond, any hopes Donald Trump had of a reset in trade relations with Russian have been scuppered by the veto-proof sanctions bill passed almost unanimously by Congress and the Senate. \u00a0However, it&#8217;s just a clumsy attempt to promote US shale gas at the expense of Russian natural gas. \u00a0Moreover it could easily backfire, as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/europe\/eu-warns-congresss-russia-sanctions-effort-could-backfire\/2017\/07\/25\/79329f10-7140-11e7-8c17-533c52b2f014_story.html?utm_term=.6a5dfb0000ba\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">even the Washington Post is pointing out<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 Who destroyed the Russo-German <strong>Nord Stream 2 pipeline?<\/strong>\u00a0 And the EU does much more trade with Russia than does the US anyway. \u00a0Russia will just trade elsewhere, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/view\/articles\/2017-07-24\/new-u-s-sanctions-on-russia-are-a-mixed-bag\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">as Bloomberg reports<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>But symbolically the bill is bad for US-Russian relations. \u00a0Already, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/europe\/russia-putin-us-embassy-staff-reduction-diplomats-dacha-a7870066.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to the Independent<\/a><\/strong>, Russian expulsions of US diplomats have increased tensions. \u00a0And that is precisely why the military-industrial complex like the sanctions bill just as much as the US shale gas industry. \u00a0After all, it would never do if peace were to break out, now would it? \u00a0Indeed\u00a0former <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/op-edge\/398007-us-russia-sanctions-cold-war\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">US Assistant Treasury Secretary Paul Craig Roberts told RT<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0these &#8216;interest groups&#8217; &#8216;put their interests ahead of normalizing relations between nuclear powers&#8217;. \u00a0We should be in much prayer for peace and against these men:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Psalm 140:2 Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war. <\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Administration, jobs and legacy<\/h2>\n<p>Where does all this leave President Trump&#8217;s domestic policy, his &#8216;West Wing&#8217; administration and his legacy?
