American and European top politicians, industrialists and bankers met last\u00a0weekend to decide how the world will be run. \u00a0The Bilderberg Group gathered at Chantilly, Virginia, USA from 2nd to 4th June 2017.<\/p>\n

You don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to be concerned about it.<\/p>\n

Firstly, these wealthy\u00a0individuals rather than politicians we\u00a0elect are going to determine\u00a0what should be done in the world.<\/p>\n

Secondly, whatever they decide, be sure it will benefit these ‘kings of the earth’ first, and the rest of us a long way behind.<\/p>\n

Lastly, the Bible teaches conspiracy not as theory but as fact:<\/p>\n

Psalm 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, …<\/strong><\/p>\n

Overlapping membership with world elite<\/h2>\n

Kenneth Clarke was on the Bilderberg steering group for years.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Bilderberg is named after the Dutch hotel where the group first met in 1954. \u00a0It is highly secretive and had to be pushed and shamed a few years ago even into having a website. \u00a0Naturally, the website does the minimum, publishing a list of those attending and an agenda. \u00a0Up until ten or so years ago journalists had to find out the annual guest list from staff at the latest venue.<\/p>\n

Leading members have included Dennis Healey<\/a><\/strong>, Kenneth Clarke, Peter Lord Carrington, the Irishman Peter Sutherland and Henry Kissinger. \u00a0Bilderberg has strong links by personnel to other groups of the world’s elite. \u00a0Both the US and the\u00a0European Council on Foreign Relations are part of the same network. \u00a0The Trilateral Commission, founded by David Rockefeller, includes\u00a0in addition\u00a0the elite of the Far East. \u00a0The TC membership linked off their website here <\/a><\/strong>overlaps with Bilderberg. \u00a0The World Bank and IMF, Davos, the globalist Club of Rome<\/a><\/strong> and numerous think-tanks such as the Aspen Institute are also in the loop.<\/p>\n

In the past we have reported on last year’s meeting in Dresden<\/a><\/strong>, their meeting in Watford, England in 2013<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and the previous get-together at Chantilly in 2012<\/a><\/strong>. \u00a0We also exposed links between Bilderberg and those agitating for a pro-EU stance from Ukraine<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Bilderberg agenda<\/h2>\n

Here is this year’s agenda, straight off the website<\/a><\/strong>:<\/p>\n

\nThe Trans-Atlantic defence alliance: bullets, bytes and bucks
\nThe direction of the EU
\nCan globalisation be slowed down?
\nJobs, income and unrealised expectations
\nThe war on information
\nWhy is populism growing?
\nRussia in the international order
\nThe Near East
\nNuclear proliferation
\nChina
\nCurrent events<\/p>\n

Bilderberg clearly don’t like populism. \u00a0It might upset their apple cart. \u00a0They also talked about China and Russia. \u00a0How many Russians do you think were there? \u00a0Precisely none. \u00a0And how many Chinese? \u00a0Just the one, that nation’s ambassador to the US. \u00a0There was no-one from Asia and no-one from South America. \u00a0Naturally, no-one was invited from Africa or\u00a0from Eastern Europe. \u00a0Sorry, there was one Polish guy there, but only because he is a professor at Harvard. \u00a0Furthermore, there was no delegate from Israel. \u00a0However,\u00a0five industrialists and economists came from Turkey. \u00a0Apart from that, there was no-one from the Middle East. \u00a0That’s because Bilderberg was \u2018designed to foster dialogue between Europe and North America\u2019.<\/p>\n

Charlie Skelton has been lampooning Bilderberg for years in the Guardian. \u00a0Accordingly, here is his take on the inclusion of the\u00a0agenda item on globalisation<\/a><\/strong>: ‘You think that the assembled heads of Google, AT&T, Bayer, Airbus, Deutsche Bank, Ryanair, Fiat Chrysler, and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange want to see a brake on globalisation? It\u2019s the air that they breathe.’<\/p>\n

Prospects and high-flyers<\/h2>\n

Bilderberg liked Tony Blair four years before he became Prime Minister<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

But make no mistake,\u00a0Bilderberg is the primary concentrated gathering of those who see themselves as the world\u2019s elite. \u00a0The official 2017 guest list reveals<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0the meeting was chaired by Henri de Castries, boss of AXA insurance. The king of the Netherlands rubbed shoulders with Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary.<\/p>\n

Ultra-hawkish US Senators Tom Cotton and Lindsey Graham were there. \u00a0In the past, Bilderberg has been good at identifying future Prime Minsters and Presidents. \u00a0It is where Tony Blair was anointed in 1993 before he won the 1997 election.<\/p>\n

Another website says<\/a><\/strong>: ‘Arkansas governor Bill Clinton, for example, who attended in 1991. \u201cThere, David Rockefeller told (him) why the North American Free Trade Agreement\u2026.was a Bilderberg priority and that the group needed him to support it. The next year, Clinton was elected president.\u201d On January 1, 1994 NAFTA took effect.’<\/p>\n

Of course,\u00a0existing high-flyers are also in evidence. \u00a0Sometimes they will be insiders, thinking along the same liines. \u00a0At other times they will be those whom the inner circle wish to influence. \u00a0Accordingly, this year, Donald Trump\u2019s National Security Adviser, H.R. McMaster, attended alongside David Petraeus, former CIA Director. \u00a0Jens\u00a0Stoltenberg, NATO’s\u00a0Secretary General, pitched up. \u00a0William J. Burns, President of the Carnegie Endowment was there. \u00a0So was\u00a0Christopher Liddell, Who is an\u00a0Assistant to Donald Trump, and Director of Strategic Initiatives in the White House.<\/p>\n

UK Guest list<\/h2>\n

The UK Guest list was a little light this year, maybe because of the General Election. \u00a0Nevertheless, these eight made it:<\/p>\n

\nMartin Wolf, Chief Economics Commentator, Financial Times<\/p>\n

The annual meetings take place under what is known as the \u2018Chatham House rule\u2019 which was invented by London\u2019s Royal Institute of International Affairs. \u00a0Consequently,\u00a0\u2018Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.\u2019<\/p>\n

So don’t expect any report to come out. \u00a0Of course, all the journalists present are sworn to secrecy. \u00a0The website says of its meetings<\/a><\/strong>: \u2018There is no desired outcome, no minutes are taken and no report is written. \u00a0Furthermore, no resolutions are proposed, no votes are taken, and no policy statements are issued.\u2019<\/p>\n
