A premier league football club have accused a Christian group of \u2018hate speech\u2019. \u00a0The complaint follows an article highlighting their sponsorship of a homosexual event targeted at young people.<\/p>\n

AFC Bournemouth have reported Christian Voice to Sussex Police and football\u2019s \u2018KickitOut\u2019 pressure group.<\/p>\n

AFCB\u2019s action was disclosed by their photographer Steve Cook, now know as \u2018Sophie\u2019, in a tweet yesterday, Friday 17th<\/sup><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Divisive Homosexual Event<\/h2>\n

Christian Voice drew attention to AFC Bournemouth\u2019s sponsoring what they called a \u2018divisive\u2019 homosexual event being held in the town today (Saturday 18th February 2017). \u00a0The relegation strugglers are involved in the 2017 SchoolsOut\u2019s LGBT History Month at Bournemouth University.<\/p>\n

We also criticised the Club for funding a group which they say tries to convince adolescents they are gay \u2013 Space Youth Project.<\/p>\n

But it is their refusal to accept that Bournemouth\u2019s photographer, Steve Cook, is a woman which has drawn the particular ire of the South Coast outfit. \u00a0Click here for the online article<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

AFC Bournemouth would close down free speech<\/h2>\n

We have yet to hear from Sussex Police. \u00a0We are puzzled in fact why AFCB would report us to Sussex rather than the Dorset force.<\/p>\n

As to KickitOut, they have our full support in confronting racism. \u00a0But the fact is, they will only dilute their message if they start promoting deviant sexual behaviour.<\/p>\n

Clearly there is a constant need to defend freedom of speech. \u00a0A corporate body like Bournemouth Football Club must not even think it can use the law to shut down those who would criticise its sponsorship policy.<\/p>\n

This ministry will\u00a0continue to criticise those who promote homosexuality\u00a0to young people. \u00a0We shall also continue to refer to ‘trans’ persons by their God-given gender. \u00a0Post-truth is not the Christian world.<\/p>\n
