13 ISLAM<\/h2>\n

We are keen to help Muslim parents stand up against immoral RSE nationally. Children are a heritage of the Lord\u2019s common grace to them as well. And who knows if the Lord could not use such an outreach as an evangelistic opportunity?<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, we are very aware that Islam is an expansionist religion, so we have published articles showing the growth of the religion and its adherents in the UK, warning of a \u2018tipping point\u2019.<\/p>\n

\"Engaging<\/a>
Engaging with Muslims on Alum Rock Road.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Even now, we have warned of what happened in Tower Hamlets when Muslims took power. They renamed council wards, removing reference to our Christian heritage. And this in a constitutionally-Christian country. We asked our members to pray into this challenge.<\/p>\n

In January 2008 news broke of a Muslim Police Community Support Officer telling two Christian evangelists not to preach in the heavily-Muslim area of Alum Rock in Birmingham. We believe no part of the United Kingdom can become a no-go area for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, without delay, we took to the Alum Rock Road with Gospel tracts, some indeed in Urdu. Far from encountering hostility, we found Alum Rock\u2019s Muslims keen to engage around matters of faith.<\/p>\n

By the kind of coincidence only the Lord can bring about, that same area was where we would support Muslim parents standing up for the innocence of their children against homosexual sex educators in Parkfield Primary School eleven years later.<\/p>\n

The East London Mosque became the venue for our March 2015 video asking if Allah is just another word for Almighty God. Our National Director showed that as the Almighty, in the Bible, describes the Lord Jesus thus:<\/p>\n

Mark 1:11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.<\/b><\/p>\n

And as Allah, in the Quran, denies having a son, saying it is beneath his dignity to become one of us, they could not be the same being.<\/p>\n

Christians need to be informed, so we also published a booklet called \u2018Understanding Islam\u2019.<\/p>\n

14 A PROPOSED \u2018MEGAMOSQUE\u2019 FOR WEST HAM<\/h2>\n

In 2006 reports began to circulate about an Islamic fundamentalist group planning to construct a \u2018megamosque\u2019 on a site in the Abbey Mills area near West Ham station in east London. The Tablighi Jamaat mosque would accommodate 60,000 worshippers and be the largest place of worship in Europe, we read.<\/p>\n

We brought a group of Christian Voice members together at the site for two hours of prayer on Saturday 6th January 2007. We prayed into this matter of the mosque. It was to have been a one-off, but the sense was that the Lord would have this prayer meeting continue on the first Saturday of every month. We have kept to that ever since, rain or shine.
\nPrayer has been made not just against the mosque, but for the community, for our nation and for the Church.<\/p>\n

On 3rd December 2022 we held our 185th meeting. Thanks to the good efforts of Shoggy, our media manager whom we appointed in 2022, we are now live-streaming the monthly prayer meeting on Facebook. We shall not stop until our nation repents and the site returns to the worship of the King of kings.<\/p>\n

We believe when we pray fervent prayers and do the simple things that only we can do, we can rely on God to do the miraculous.
\nAnd that is what has happened. The Lord has thwarted the plans for the West Ham mega-mosque ever since God\u2019s people started praying.<\/p>\n

15 CONFUSION AND NO MOSQUE<\/h2>\n

When we began, the trustees were confident their mosque would be ready for the London Olympic Games in 2012. We kept turning up, we kept praying. The Olympics came and went, and the site stayed as it was. Only the trees around it grew.<\/p>\n

Confusion reigned among the trustees, who went through three different firms of architects. They appointed and sacked public relations people and held a disaster of an \u2018open day\u2019. They missed their planning deadlines, lost the support of Newham Council, had their application turned down and then refused on appeal.<\/p>\n

The High Court ordered the trustees to clear the land of temporary buildings and cease religious activities there. Finally, in a sign that the Lord can and does send the unexpected, the Tablighi Jamaat sect itself split in two.<\/p>\n

Why God uses our prayers and allows us to be part of his victory we shall never know. But we do know the Almighty has heard our prayers and dwelt in our praises. We have prayed at the site itself in all weathers. The Lord has seen our prayer is serious!<\/p>\n

Jas 5:16 … The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.<\/b><\/p>\n

16 HALAL MEAT<\/h2>\n

We have also reported on the imposition of halal meat in prisons and schools. Much meat, particularly from cattle, sheep and chicken, is slaughtered \u2018halal\u2019 in the UK, so the offal may be sold to the Islamic market abroad. Supermarkets offload the meat itself onto unsuspecting shoppers. For us the issue is not just a lack of stunning but the dedication to Allah at the point of slaughter.<\/p>\n

The Apostle Paul in 1Cor 10:28 urged believers not to eat meat \u2018offered in sacrifice unto idols\u2019.
\nThat is why in November 2010 we posted a video on YouTube called \u2018The Secret Halal Meat Scandal\u2019.<\/p>\n

It was shot outside British supermarkets and featured Stephen calling for honest labelling of the halal meat they were selling.<\/p>\n

To date \u2018The Secret Halal Meat Scandal\u2019 has had 212,000 views, making it the most-watched video on this subject on YouTube in the world.<\/p>\n

In 2011 we published a study on how Islamic money was funding UK universities. We prayed and witnessed outside such an academic venue in Oxford.<\/p>\n

In May 2011, we stood outside Wembley Stadium for the FA cup final handing out leaflets calling attention to the halal food secretly on sale in the stadium. We even shot another video \u2018The Secret Halal Wembley Take-away\u2019. It is also on YouTube.<\/p>\n
