Christians deny child cruelty charges

The Musa family before the storm hit

A Christian couple who have had their children taken away by Social Services now face prison on child cruelty charges.

Joseph and Gloria Musa have rarely seen their children since they were snatched from them by Haringey Social Services two years ago.

By the grace of God, an informative blog is being operated on the Musas’ behalf: http://gloriamusa.wordpress.com/

Supporters of the family are asking Christians to come to Wood Green Crown Court, Woodall House, Lordship Lane, London, N22 5LF(see www.streetmap.co.uk ) to see British justice in action.  Every day starts at 9.30am and you need to be there early.  It is not allowed to take notes in the court because of reporting restrictions imposed by Judge James Patrick.

The trial started last Monday 21st May 2012.  Today (30th May 2012), tomorrow and Friday three of the children are giving evidence by video link.  They will not see their parents.  Please pray for these children and their testimony.

Despite reporting restrictions, an account of the first day of the trial has been posted here: http://salem-news.com/articles/may212012/musa-day-1.php?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Salem-news+%28Salem-News.com%29

The same US website cannot believe how this has all happened: http://www.salem-news.com/articles/may242012/musa-saga-tk.php

The couple, originally from Nigeria, hope the criminal trial will exonerate them and lead to their children being returned.  The fact that the trial is happening is in the public domain: http://www.thelawpages.com/court-hearings-lists/Wood-Green-Crown-Court.php (Look for Court 5)

Please hold this couple, their legal team and the whole legal process up in your prayers.  Pray these scriptures:

Psalm 89:14  Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

Amos 5:24  But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

John 7:24  Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

There are many other scriptures on justice and judgment; See: http://www.repentuk.com/Subject/Justice.html

I do not know the details but am happy to pray that the LORD will overrule and see justice done.

Don’t you mean the injustice done? From my experience of the UK family court, I fear even divine intervention may not be sufficient.

It vexes me to even think this, but when you know the full details of the Musa case and mine, you’ll realise that what is actually need is a bloodbath.

The professionals involved in the Musa case specifically, and mine can be at best described as reprehensible. Sadly I fear depraved and or repugnant would be a more accurate comparison.

I agree with your prayer Ivor. The Lord knows all that has gone on, and He will bring the Musas through this ordeal. Throughout history Christians have and still are suffering at the hands of those who despise them. We’re called to pray for those who hurt and abuse us. I pray for all those who have uttered false witness against the Musas and I pray they will feel they can own up to their wrongdoing and seek forgiveness. Look to the Lord, He is the answer.

    All,

    Please read:

For the first time in 25 years, I will be going to church today. I genuinely believe that our lord is a merciful god that forgives all those whom confess their wrong doings and sins. Nicholas Wall was not the only reprehensible professional involved in this case…

Today I will pray for 6 family members of each professional involved in this case to suffer the same consequence as Nicholas Wall if the fail to sufficient and publicly admit to their own role in the devastation of this family.

To those same professionals and Nicholas Wall, please remember god will punish your children and your children’s for the sins and wrong doings he fails to punish you directly. To all professionals benefiting from the dessimation of other people’s families. Please remember this scripture as you sit to feast Christmas day this year and wonder why!
